Leyanne Leyanne Mace is currently pottering around the workshop, doing all the little maintenance tasks that've been put off because she's had work to do on bikes. Right now, though, her cybernetic arm is offline (and ends at the elbow), so she's just pushing a broom arond the shop and otherwise tidying up. She's got to take it easy; there are hundreds of little nicks across her skin, and some bigger gashes. Across her right hip and the side of her torso, she's wearing a large self-adhesive burn patch, and clamped to her lower-left chest is some kind of device intended to bend her metal-plated bones back into shape. Every few minutes it makes a soft whirr as if re-adjusting tension.
Some REO Speedwagon plays through the speakers up on the walls, and she's singing and dancing along.
"...And I'm gonna keep on lovin you, Cause it's the only thing I wanna do! I don't wanna sleep, I just wanna keep on lovin you"

Outside, a neon sign declares the bike shop open, and that visitors should come through to the bike workshop.
Yuuki Konno     Though Yuuki had passed on the offer of a social gathering last night, it was more a case of physical exhaustion than lack of interest. She probably shouldn't have risked entering a deathmatch endurance contest, not with her body reserves so low from her loooong illness. Even assuming everything goes well it'll take months before her body can rebuild a healthy level of strength and endurance. But of course she couldn't simply stand by and NOT enter. She'd fight for life even if she were on her deathbed. Even if it killed her... quite literally. And in the end, that was what the battle had been all about. Until she fully recovers, she gets by just fine using the strength and resilience of her avatar, but her stamina and endurance are based on that of her natural body. When that's exhausted, it doesn't really matter how strong the avatar is.

Still, she really only needed rest. Simply walking about now isn't enough to make her collapse or anything, and it's a good time to follow up on that invite! The smallish Imp taps the wall before entering the shop. You don't knock on doors when some doors are made of rice paper after all... so Tiny probably doesn't hear, considering she's not in the main entrance. So Yuuki enters anyways, figuring that it's a shop, not a home. If the door was locked, the shop would be closed. Since the shop's not closed, she can come in right? That's even what the sign says!

"Helloooo~!" she calls out, peeking into the workshop. She looks well, all considered. No visible sign of any of the injuries she'd suffered in the battle. Just a certain stiffness of movement that might become more obvious as she's seen moving about.
Josuke Higashikata     It's a long way out -- and it's COLD! -- but that's not going to stop Josuke. Neither is the way he's favoring that leg, or the bandages on his arm. He's even got a small square badnage on his face, a piece of gauze folded into a square and taped to his cheek. He really looks the part of a delinquent now. All he's missing is a surgical mask on his face!

Either way, he's heading out to Alaska, bundled up warmly in a dark blue coat. He's had to leave his nice, expensive shoes at home, because multiple feet of snow and expensive footwear do not mix, at all. Instead of his Mr. Junko socks and Bally shoes, he's wearing a heavy pair of insulated, knee-length boots. He's got the hood to his dark blue coat up, and his hands in thick gloves.

Similar to Yuuki, Josuke assumes that a shop would be open if there's an 'OPEN' sign visible. So he ducks in, looking around almost meekly. "...Hello?" he calls in, just loud enough to be heard. He pauses at seeing Yuuki, and blinks, for some reason not having expected anyone here. Despite it being a SHOP. Maybe just the thought of anyone braving the cold and snow to come out is a surprise?

"Aa... hello," he greets, with a wave.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks over and waves her stump happily, leaning the broom against the wall. "Ah, welcome! Yuuki, Josuke." She smiles. "Welcome to Tiny's... got a bit of a workload on so you might have to step around a few bike parts. I think I've got most of it stashed away... man, Jo, you look pretty beat up... looks like the wind hasn't put your hair out of place."
At least it wasn't a very long walk from the airport, right?
Yuuki Konno     Even more surprising than Yuuki being out in the excessively-mild weather, she's very clearly dressed for a climate that is very clearly not Alaska. She's got good boots perhaps, but bared skin at shoulder and hip is rather impractical at the best of times, let alone in incliment weather. To be fair it's worn to look good rather than to look sexy. It's not purely cheesecake armor, but it's still kind of cheesecake. Yuuki's just not the type to go tart even if she customized her outfit to fit her aesthetics.

She smiles warmly enough at Tiny's greeting. "Good to see you up and about!" she says, moving a little stiffly to take a seat and peer interestedly at the bike operations. She only pauses when Josuke enters, glancing at him and smiling in a friendly manner in welcome even if she doesn't know him. Yeah he looks a bit thuggish with injuries but so what? They're all injured. She doesn't quite get what Tiny says about the hair though. She can only see a bit of it. And ... well, it looks like his hair's piled up high, judging by that hood!
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke hears Leyanne's voice and looks in her direction, a grin appearing as he does. "Hi!" he offers, with a friendly near-chirp. Though yes, he notices she's missing an arm. "Yikes! I didn't realize you got messed up so bad. Want me to help fix it?" he asks. As for his hair? "Heh... that's why I wore a hood. I just hope THAT didn't mess it up too bad."

He definitely does notice Yuuki's not exactly dressed for the weather. So he does venture, "Um... aren't you a little... cold? I mean, you don't have a coat on..." He pauses, looking around for a place to hang a coat. Not only because he's wearing one and it's warm enough in the shop that he doesn't need it right now. But because he's looking to see if she has a coat hung up.

Assuming he finds a place to put his coat, he'll start to shed the winter wrappings. Gloves first, those stuffed in a pocket, then the coat's removed. Underneath it is what looks like a school uniform, done in purple, with a white lining on the knee-length coat, and the lapels pinned back from the front with golden pins -- a heart and a peace sign.

And with the hood removed, his pompadour hairstyle is revealed for all to see. It's a little scraggly, though, which Josuke draws a mirror from his pocket to check. "Aw, damn," he mutters. A comb is brought out of a pocket and he starts to fix the scraggliness.
Leyanne There is a coat rack, and there's several coats already hung up. She smirks as he fixes the hair, though she doesn't say anything. She's met other Martians who were almost as vain... though the image of The Cat from Red Dwarf comes to mind.
"Ah I get bored all laid up, and it's not like I've lost anything seriously structural." She chuckles. "I'm a little... disarmed right now, but other than that it probably looks worse than it feels. Definitely won't be doing any BASE jumping for a week or so"
Yuuki Konno     Nope, Yuuki doesn't have a coat. Well, sort of. Her outfit does have certain coat-like qualities if you ignore the parts of it that simply aren't there, like the shoulders and the open front and such. It's got some kimono-like qualities too though. Kind of a martial kimono if you would. Something not worn in modern-age Japan, but something that harkens back to earlier times.

Josuke might assume she owns one of the several coats on the coat rack, but none of them entirely fit her image. Or her size for that matter. She's probably at least a foot or two too short to wear any of them without looking like a kid wearing a balloon suit. She blinks at the question. "Is it cold? I ... guess I didn't notice! It's not snowing right?" she asks in innocently oblivious curiosity. She doesn't even look wind-swept! All hail the power of a magical MMO avatar overlay!

"I think I'm the opposite." Yuuki says to Leyanne, watching. "I feel worse than it looks! But it's okay, and I got bored laid up too!" she grins. She doesn't really pay attention to Josuke's primping and removal of weather-gear, not at first, paying attention to Tiny.

Which makes her sudden startled surprise all the greater when she glances back to see him in full pompadour'd glory. She double-takes, a smile coming to her lips. She tries to control the laugh, not actually intending to be rude, but the battle's over before it begins. "BAHHAHAHAHA!" she bursts out, cackling madly and pointing with one finger straight at the outrageous hairdo. Well, mostly straight at. She's shaking with laughter after all. "That's so ridiculous! It's hilarious!" she says in pure sincere admiration. She surely appreciates hair and not caring what others think. She styled her avatar an ahoge after all, telling all in the know that she's a bit of an idiot. She doesn't care if people think she's an idiot after all! It's cute, and that's what counts!
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke snickers a bit at the 'disarmed' comment. "I'm sorry, that was kind of insensitive of me... I shouldn't have laughed," he says meekly. But then he says, with a grin, "But I guess that you can laugh at it is good. Though I can fix it pretty quickly. Did you see what I did with the gate?" She might not have, though; that whole battle was really confusing and there were a lot of things going on.

He has definitely noticed the coat-like qualities of Yuuki's outfit. It... kind of looks like something he might expect to see in some of the games he's plays. He looks in her direction, just having finished the fixing of his hair, when she starts to laugh. He blinks, looking confused. "..Huh?" But then he pays attention to where she's pointing -- at him... and slightly up. And she started laughing when he started fixing his hair, so...

    *Ruuuuuumble...*

It's instantaneous. The cheerful, friendly demeanor that he'd been exuding up to that point just... disappears. Even the air around him seems to darken a little. And his voice when he says the next is utterly devoid of that friendly tone, and chock full of a low, dangerou-sounding one.

"...Hey. Girl." Since he doesn't know her name. "...Are you laughin' at my hair? Think it's funny?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace waves of Josuke's comment about the stump. "Oh don't worry I joke about it anyway. When you're just waiting for spares it's no big."
When Yuuki starts laughing she smirks, about to make a comment herself.
But then Jojo does an impression of an about-to-erupt volcano.... not good, there's a lot of expensive equipment here she'd rather not see trashed.
She steps forward to get between Josuke and Yuuki. "Hey guys..." She says hesitanty, putting her stump against Jojo's chest to hold hm back. "Relax, man I don't think she means anything..."
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki's honestly too full of laughter to notice the danger signs from Josuke. She's kind of oblivious to social cues at the best of times, and right now her eyes are tearing up so she can't see his expression. "Y-yeees!" she gets out between gales of laughter. She'd apologize for laughing at him because it IS kind of rude. Tiny's words help her realize that, even if she'd have come to the conclusion on her own. But she's just needed a good tension break after the whole Bloody Revelations contest and everything else that's been happening. Josuke, in large part, is right place right time for her to just release a mass of pent-up feelings.

So yeah, she can't quite apologize yet. Not until she can get a breath. Nor does she realize just how volatile things have become. Sure there's something in his growling voice, but in her current mood she doesn't recognize it as threat, just thinking it's something playful!
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke actually seems not to notice Leyanne, amazingly enough. Not even when she places the stump of her not-yet-repaired arm on his chest. His blue eyes are focused solely on Yuuki, brows drawn sharply down in clear anger. With Leyanne that close, she may be able to see the vein lightly popping out on his temple. He is, quite honestly and thoroughly, PISSED!

Yuuki doesn't seem to realize exactly what she's stepped in. And she's still trying to catch her breath and get her senses back, so she doesn't realize that Josuke is serious. Fortunately, Leyanne is all but holding him back, so he can't physically get to Yuuki.

This turns out to be very fortunate for Yuuki. Why? The purple aura springs to life around him, with that sharp, staccato sound of air pressure suddenly disengaging. And suddenly the Stand is there, rising up from his own body and forming into existence. She's still too far away, as the Stand stops a few feet from Yuuki -- any farther, Josuke realizes, and it will disappear again.

His voice is still that dangerous tone as he speaks again. "I don't care who it is... I won't let anybody get away with making fun of it!" And he looks like he's about to start walking forward, Leyanne's arm holding him back or not. Her strength is probably sufficient to hold back a human teenage boy, even an angry, muscular one like Josuke!
Leyanne Leyanne Mace does indeed keep him pinned back with the stub of her arm "Josuke, easy. I don't think she meant anything bad. I mean, it's a pretty uncommon style these days. I think it suits you, with the rest of the whole greaser style." SHe gives Yuuki a warning glance - she might want to think about explaining that.
She looks at Josuke again. "Dude, I'm not gonna be happy with you fighting in my shop. If a fight kicks off I will defenestrate you."
Yuuki Konno     Even in Yuuki's current state she's not entirely oblivious. In part it's the words themselves. There's nothing playful about them. They're very clearly words of threat and of obviously hurt feelings. More importantly though, that sudden Stand manifestation reminds her of August's Persona. The thing he almost got killed using. While Josuke's words made her realize he was serious, it's the Stand that most sobers her.

Yuuki stands up abruptly. The laughter's still there sparkling in her teary eyes and on her easygoing smile, but she manages to stop the vocal outburst. "No no, Leyanne!" she insists. "It's my fault! If he wants to fight just throw me out so he can follow!" she offers in an attempt to take responsibility. She's not actually afraid to fight. There's no fear in her voice, though there's some remorse. Josuke's probably in no state to sense her remorse from simple tone of voice though.

She glances at the young man, taking in his state quickly. She may be socially graceless but she's not clueless, and her quick wits are one of her better features. Impulsively she steps forwards, offering herself within arms reach of the purple manifestation. "Or he can hit me." she says, closing her eyes, flinching, turning her head. It's obvious she doesn't WANT to be hit, doesn't relish the idea of the pain. But better to suffer such a thing than to escalate the situation. It's also a lot faster of a thing to do than to launch into a full explanation... which she senses she doesn't have time for, not with poor Josuke's rage bubbling over like this. She'd have to calm him down first. If that means taking a hit in apology, it's a fair enough price to pay and it's all she can think to immediately do.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke still doesn't reply to Leyanne. He just... doesn't seem to be focusing in the Martian mouse's direction. But at least that Stand hasn't turned around to try and hit HER instead; that would be unfortunate. Though as she continues to hold him back, he does eventually seem to hear her. Unusual? Yeah, he can deal with that; he knows it's pretty weird. Even back home it's a bit unusual, partially the reason for his penchant for avenging slights to it so heavy-handedly.

However, even if he doesn't reply, it is perhaps Leyanne's compliment that softens his rage for Yuuki's words. He's been pretty mad at insults to his preferred hairstyle before, but he can usually still think -- Crazy Diamond could have easily killed that blond guy who insulted his hair on the first day of school last year; instead he just messed up the guy's face. And he had to calm down to heal the turtle, otherwise he would have botched the job and the turtle would have died.

Besides, nobody who's insulted his hair has ever been... actually contrite about it, particularly not so quickly. Most are only sorry after a superspeed beatdown-slash-facelift by Crazy Diamond. Clearly more sorry about getting hit than at actually having insulted him. But this girl is... rather immediately facing up to it, realizing she upset him really bad, and seeming apologetic for THAT, rather than the beatdown that might have resulted otherwise.

Josuke's still mad. Evidenced by the Stand still being there, the purple aura around him still flaring away brightly. But since he's focused on her so sharply, looking for weakpoints he might attack, he can see the cringing preparation for what she probably thinks is going to be a vicious punch in the face. Yes, he can see that she doesn't want to be hit. When she steps in range, Crazy Diamond raises its arms, elbows out. It's a boxer's stance. He's not really gonna hit her, is he?! Even after she apologized and was so honestly contrite?!

The strike does come... but it's not to her face. Without even a customary 'DOURRRA!', Crazy Diamond's arm strikes out, aiming for her shoulder. If it hits, it's not going to be a hard punch. It will hurt. But it won't be nearly enough to injure. Just a 'correctional' strike.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks a little "Are you sure you want to...?" She asks Yuuki. Before she can really say much more, Crazy Diamond delivers the strike. Even as it does so, Leyanne is pushing Jojo back with the remains of her arm, just in case.
"Josuke, easy man..." She repeats, her organic hand rising to grab him by the scruff of the coat, but Crazy Diamond vanishes and the weird glitchyness to her left eye's vision along with him. After a moment, she comments
"How about we all take a breath and have a nice cup of tea?" Tea solves all problems, right?
Yuuki Konno     With her eyes closed Yuuki can't really see the Stand square up to strike, but she can feel the rage on an intuitive level, one warrior to another. She can't quite bring herself to watch for the hit, in part out of fear and in part out of willingness to take whatever she deserves without trying to soften it. Her only warning might be the rush of wind, startling her into the start of a reflex reaction, quickly stifled. She doesn't try to get out of the way, resigned to paying the penalty for her unthinking actions.

Only to be struck in the shoulder. Fairly hard. "Ow!" she cries out. Still, a vocalization rather than a cry of anguish should make it clear she's not seriously hurt. You don't say ow when there's serious damage. You say ow when you expect to be hurt.

Yuuki opens her eyes rather hesitantly, peering to take in Josuke and the absence of the Stand. One hand comes up to rub her shoulder. She frowns, then suddenly smiles. Seems she has time to explain after all! "I LIKE your hair!" she says in lieu of immediate apology, trying to defuse things further. "It looks like you don't care that you look like a hoodlum, and THAT'S funny!" she explains, the absolutely honest words coming easily and quickly.
Josuke Higashikata     Now, finally, Josuke seems to be calming down. Maybe he just needed to hit something? Well, either way, he looks at Leyanne finally. He actually looks chagrinned, raising his hand to the back of his head and rubbing at it slightly. "Yeah, I... sorry about that. I'd have fixed it if I broke anything." He doesn't discuss the reasons for his rather instantaneous rage, aside from being REAAALLY mad about the perceived insult to his hair.

In fact, he almost winces at the sound from Yuuki, even though it was his Stand that did it. He knows he didn't hurt her seriously, yes. Still. The rage is leaving him now, and he can be concerned about others.

He blinks a little at Yuuki's words though, reaching up to rather unnecessarily fix his hair. He pouts a little. "Well... I don't care what it looks like," he agrees, still pouting a little. But still, by way of explanation, since he feels like he owes both ladies one, "I keep it like this for a reason, not 'just because'. The style's... kind of important to me."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks betweek the two for a little while longer. "Are we cool yet?" She asks, hesitantly, swishing her tail behind her. "Let's have a cuppa, yes?"
Now the threat of violence seems to have passed, Tiny goes over to the corner of the workshop, where there's a greasy electric kettle, and tea-making supplies. The mouse starts to get a brew on, nodding at Josuke's words.
"I'd be interested in finding out why, if you wanna talk about it." Tiny comments. "How do you take your tea?"
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki shows no resentment at having been hit. It wasn't Josuke's fault after all, it was her own. Owning her behavior absolutely and not resenting what others think of her, she bears no hint of anger. "YES!" she exclaims at his half-explanation. She feels exactly the same way about so much that she instantly agrees with the statement. "And if anyone doesn't like it that's their problem!" she claims, showing that she's not exactly like Josuke after all. They have their similarities, surely, but Yuuki's seemingly incapable of holding others at fault.

She turns, grinning broadly, still rubbing her shoulder more out of reflex than actual pain. Pain has been a part of her life for a long time now, and small amounts never slow her down. "Honey?" she asks Leyanne hopefully. She's assuming the danger (if any) has passed, and that she and Josuke are friends again now. Never mind they never had a friendship before... she's quick with this sort of thing when she finds someone she likes. And of course, a warrior who's forthright and quick to anger but also quick to cool? Well, any warrior will have some fire to their soul! There's nothing wrong with it at all!
Josuke Higashikata     Yup, Josuke's calm now! Whether the efforts to calm him verbally or getting to hit Yuuki, he's calm. He offers a slightly nervous smile in Leyanne's direction when she mentions tea. "Thanks... sugar, and a little milk, if that's okay?" As for wanting to know why he's so protective? He looks a bit chagrinned. "...I do owe you two an explanation," he acknowledges.

He feels a bit better when Yuuki speaks up. "I tend to... well, MAKE it their problem, even if they think it's not," he notes. "Though... nobody's ever actually been sorry for upsetting me," he observes. "For most, the 'sorry' only comes after they get a beatdown. THAT'S what they're sorry for."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace ferrets through the cupboard "No... sadly no honey. Got maple syrup though if you want, and sadly I only 'ave British-styled black teas, if you prefer white or green tea..."
Tiny nods, to Josuke understandingly. "I understand, I kinda get a bit the same when someone calls me a rat - I'm a mouse, dammit." She chuckles. As the kettle boils, she sets to preparing the tea. "Once I've brewed up let's head upstairs, there's comfy chairs up there and it doesn't smell so strongly of oil"
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki looks disappointed but only a little. "Sugar then." she agrees. Black tea's fine with her, and sugar is too for that matter. She just likes things adventurous when possible! Not that honey's particularly adventurous. Maple syrup would be, but that seems just a bit weird to her so she doesn't take it up.

Yuuki looks a bit puzzled by Josuke claiming to make it their problem, but Leyanne's understanding helps her to follow the logic a little better. She nods cheerfully. "I don't think it'd be right to apologize for laughing." she claims, though she holds up one hand in warding; either in anticipation of Josuke getting mad or possibly in a playful mockery of fear. "But I'm really sorry for upsetting you!" she says. "I deserved more than what I got. Trust me, I know what it's like to be laughed at, and I've got no tolerance for anyone doing it to pick on someone!" she insists. There's a funny story for that too... but she decides to wait before launching into it.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke wanders over in the direction Leyanne's gone in, his hands going into his pockets. And he nods. "I can understand why that'd make you mad," he agrees. "Especially given the reputation rats seem to have. Besides, your ears are too round to be a rat's ears. Though... I guess they're TRYING to insult you in that case, so the aim's probably to make you mad."

Fortunately, whether it's just because Yuuki speaks fast enough to avoid it or whether Josuke's fully calmed down, he doesn't make to hit her again with her first statement. He nods. "As long as you weren't trying to be mean with it," he offers. And a frown at the mention of people picking on someone. "I don't like bullies either."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods as she listens to Yuuki. "Nor me." Bullies are cocks... that's why I liked being the big kid in school. Anyone picking on a anyone, all I'd need to do is pick them up." She grins. "Generally calmed things down a bit, and if it didn't there's always a window... Got in trouble for that a couple of times but hey all good." She giggles, handing out the teas.
Then she leads the way upstairs and through to the lounge aream chatting along the way.
"Hey, it's not like I can really talk about wild hair, is it? I'm a natural blue." She laughs. "So, Josuke, your choice of style. Is it like remembering family or...?" She's genuinely curious as she talks over her shoulder.
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki's intimately familiar with bullies, having been chased out of a school by them when she was younger, shortly before she'd become confined to the hospital. She hates them with ferocious intent, such that she tends to seek them out and want to see they get what's coming to them. Hatred is an attractive force after all, unlike loathing.

Yuuki grins brightly, eyes sparkling again. "One time in school I found one guy picking on a cute bunnygirl who wouldn't fight back. So I jumped him!" she admits. "Though I guess no one at the school really realizes why I jumped him. No one really blames me though, except him and his friends. They all think he tried to bully me because I'm not human!" she beams. And no, she's not about to set the record straight. All that would do would be to involve the poor bunnygirl in the conflict, and the conflict is essentially over now with Yuuki making it clear she'd happily pound several shades of hell out of the bully on a whim. Kind of like Josuke, huh?
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke emits a quiet, amused snort at Leyanne's very frank description of bullies. Though as to bullies? "I've always wondered how people can do that. We're taught not to do that, that it's disrespecting those above you. Nothing you would get in trouble for doing to your boss at a job, you know? Because if we can't even obey our seniors, how can we be expected to function in the adult world, I think is the reasoning." That said? He smirks. "Then again, if my boss was that much of a tool in a real job I'd probably do that anyway."

Josuke listens to Yuuki's tale with a confused look. The first thing he says, though, is not a question. "I guess it must be pretty difficult for a lot of different species of people getting together in the same world. Though I guess it's the same with worlds like mine, with all the racial issues. For what it's worth? I'm glad you beat him up, and I hope he remembers you." Notably he doesn't say he 'hopes he remembers he got beat by a girl'.

Though he hasn't forgotten Leyanne's question! He goes quiet for a moment, and turns his head to the side, as if looking at the wall. He's trying to think of where to start. "Well..." he finally begins. "When I was about four, I got really sick. Nobody could figure out what was wrong with me. I had a super-high fever, and Mom was worried I might not make it. So, after it didn't get better, she decided to take me to the hospital."

Josuke tilts his head down. "Mom didn't call an ambulance, she just took me there in her car. But a big snowstorm hit, and her car got stuck in the snow, on a road where people didn't drive past often. Then... this high school student showed up. No idea where he came from. He was injured. But instead of asking Mom for help, he just put his coat down under the wheels of her car and started pushing the car. Mom got unstuck and took me to the hospital."

Here he sighs a bit, tilting his head back up. "I didn't see him very well until we were driving away. But I won't forget the image of him, in the rearview mirror, standing there and watching us drive away. He had his hair like this." Points to his hairstyle. "I started doing mine like that, because I look up to him so much. So... I guess when someone insults my hair... it feels like an insult to him. Because they'd insult him too, if they were looking at him."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods as she listens to them both. "There's been a little bit of interspecies... tension since the cease fire back home. We've always had a small Catatonian population in Polar City, and it's only since the cease fire that the kids have started getting echoes of it off their parents I think." She shrugs. "We'll solve it, sooner or later."
She sits down on the couch to listen to Josuke, noddng. As he finishes she lets out a soft "Woah... yeah, that's as good a reason as any to pick a particular style. I'd probably be the same if it were me. Do you know if he was OK in the end?"
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki seems quite amused by Josuke's reaction and talk of worlds like his, though her expression grays somewhat as he mentions being sick as a child. Being a girl who wears her heart on her sleeve it's kind of obvious she takes that part of the story particularly seriously but she doesn't interrupt to explain. Nor, in the end, does she feel any desire to mention that part of her own life. If there's one thing Yuuki can't handle it's seeing people's pity, so the entire subject's something she avoids if at all possible.

Instead she listens carefully, getting into the story as she lets her past slip once again away from the forefront of her mind. She's a good audience, impressed at the impressive parts, deeply sympathetic for troubles, and worried when it sounds like something terrible is about to happen in the tale. She finally nods enthusiastically. "Yeah, they're insulting your hero!" she agrees wholeheartedly. And yes, that also means she has no choice but to agree Josuke's hair suits his nature. Even if it makes him look like a delinquent. Clearly he isn't, right?

She looks to Leyanne as the mouse speaks of tension, then back at Josuke, grinning once again. "Where I go to school now, there's tension between humans and the Faunus. But I'm pretty sure I grew up in a place a whole like your world!" she says brightly to Josuke. "I didn't always have pointy ears you know!" she adds proudly.
Josuke Higashikata     At the mention of interspecies tension, Josuke winces visibly. "I can imagine. Humans don't even seem to be able to get along when it's only humans. I can only imagine how bad it gets when different SPECIES are brought in and expected to get along."

Though the question of the unknown student's fate gets a shake of his head. "Mom looked for him later, but couldn't find a trace of him," he replies. "That's another reason I wear my hair like this. Because he was hurt really bad, and out in one of Morioh's worst blizzards in a long time, with just his uniform. I feel like... well, if he didn't make it, wearing my hair like this is keeping his memory alive, even if it's a really small way."

Yuuki's upset expression does catch Josuke's attention. However, he doesn't ask her about it, mainly because... well, at this point she's likely to venture anything that she feels particularly important. He doesn't know her well enough to suspect her of keeping secrets. And even if she is, her personal life is not his business. Though he doesn't like that she seems upset about something.

He does however, nod when Yuuki gets to the crux of his issue about his hair. "Exactly!" he confirms. "I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I let someone get away with insulting him. It just wouldn't feel right." Yuuki's mention of her school, and that she grew up in a world like Josuke's, gets a blink. "How's that?" he asks. At least he seems to understand 'Faunus' easily enough.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods, with a grin. She chuckles. "Throw in the fact that one species is literally cat people and the other is literally mouse people and it's a recipe for trouble..." SHe explains. "Yet it's the weirdest thing that keeps it all from dropping into rioting - baseball. Pretty much every neighbourhood's got a basic diamond and there's usually Catatonian vs Martian baseball teams that share them... if we can shout and cuss at eachother over the diamond, it means we don't do it in the street. Of course, things got interesting when a Catatonian player got picked for Polar City's formerly all-Martian national team to go up against Marineris Valley." She laughs. "That was a fun time."
When Josuke mentions that he probably didn't make it, Tiny nods soberly. "Man I totally respect that. I got a few memorial tats myself for the same reason. Yuuki's on to something... though I'd go so far as to say they ain't insulting your hero, they're flat-out insulting a hero. Folks like that are rare"
Yuuki Konno     To be perfectly fair people insulting Josuke's hero don't know they're insulting a genuine hero. But of course that doesn't matter, as if they insult Josuke for the style they'd surely insult the hero as well. Yuuki doesn't have any reason to express it though. Her heart, freely given to impulse, is currently entirely behind the shared sentiment. Besides she's done similar, assaulting a fellow student because of stinging words he'd flung at someone who'd done nothing to deserve them.

While she's unsure of what exact world Josuke's from, she can make several guesses as to its nature. His hairstyle and uniform say plenty, as does the language he speaks. She can tell it's the same as her own and, unlike Tiny, his accent is close enough to Yuuki's own to make for an intuitive leap. "I used to live in Tokyo." she explains. "And I wasn't really anything too special. Then... well, some things happened. Magic, you might say. Now I'm me!" she says proudly, waving a hand up and down before her in illustration. It's not at all the truth, and yet it's close enough that it'll serve as truth without getting into anything distressing or uncomfortable or longwinded.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke's eyes go wide when Leyanne explains the issue. "Oh man. Natural enemies on every level," he observes. "I guess the tension's to be expected, yeah. I'd say I'm really surprised it hasn't gone to full-on war yet, but it might have." As for the explanation of baseball and its tension-lessening effects on the two groups of people? "That... actually makes sense," he agrees, with a blink. But then? "A cat on a mouse team, you mean? Oh man... I bet there was a massive uproar about that."

'Some things happened' really isn't all that informative, no. But then 'some things happened' is basically how Josuke got his Stand, so he's got no reason to complain. Now he knows why. But it's not really important. Besides that? "Aa, I get you. When the word 'magic' starts getting brought up, stuff starts getting weird and confusing," he observes, with a grin. Also, he figures, if she wants to talk about it, she will, without him verbally prodding her about it.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "Pretty much every level, yeah it was bedlam for a while. Almost none of it in Polar City... Marineris Valley kicked up shit trying to get her banned... Curiosity's Landing screaming that was discrimination, we nearly had the two major cities fighting eachother, with Polar City - the cause we were the ones who hired the poor girl." SHe laughs, sipping her tea. "Eventually some smartarse in Olympus Mons says since the argument's all about baseball, we should settle it on the diamond. Three home runs in three innings outta her.." She grins, sipping her tea. It's so strange to hear someone with a Cockney accent so enthusiastic about baseball.

She nods to Yuuki. "Not much magic in my world, but there was a very smart human who said 'any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic'... which is true, but it also goes the other way. The Multiverse is a wild place. Just surf the wave, catch whatever buzz is your thing, and don't hurt anyone. Do that and on the grand scheme of things, it's a pretty cool thing."
Yuuki Konno     There's things Yuuki simply won't bring up, not if she can help it. Fortunately the state of her world is somewhat public knowledge, and she has no reason to avoid talking about it. It's not personal and it's not something that evokes pity. Awe and weirdness, yes, but she has no fear of those.

Yuuki laughs at the baseball story, though she's not actually a fan of the sport herself. She knows others who like it though, and can certainly understand fan fervor and even racism to some degree. Fortunately the story's told as an amusing lark rather than a grim tale, so she's able to purely enjoy it.

She nods. "There's not any magic in my world either." she admits. "Or... there wasn't?" she clarifies, sounding dubious. She's really not sure, and she's not much for metaphysics. "Not outside of games anyways. I don't know what happened. Some games just got too real maybe, and linked to real worlds outside ours. Or our world changed somehow, bringing the games to life." She shrugs and grins, more to say she doesn't care than just that she doesn't know. "I'm still myself I guess, only now I'm a faerie imp rather than a girl playing a game! It's really great! Though, I guess, it causes a lot of trouble for some people too. Like if their kid gets kidnapped because the game thinks there's not enough rescue quests somewhere..." she adds, losing her grin. It's not... horrible exactly, but neither can she just simply accept it as purely a game any more.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke winces when Leyanne describes the trouble that arose from the situation with the feline player. Though he grins when the test of skill is mentioned. "Good. She got to continue playing on that team, I hope?" he asks. "Players of any sport should be picked for skill, not because they're of a specific race, or species." Her mention of the Multiverse gets a nod. "I'm finding that to be the best way of dealing with things, yeah. And just pray my mother doesn't find out about this place."

Listening to Yuuki's description of her world and how the games from there got brought to life, Josuke frowns a bit, thoughtfully. "Wait a sec. I heard someone talk about that not long ago. Her name was... Sheena, I think. She talked about new places in her world appearing that are from games. But that they're not games, they're real, like the game world is overlapping the real world."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "I heard about that too, Alfheim wasn't it? It's definitely one of the weirder things I've heard happening, and that's saying something" Tiny chuckles.
At Josuke's question, she nods' "Oh, yeah she did. There was... a little trouble, at first, but she just took it all on the chin and swung like the face of her doubters got printed on the ball."
After sipping her tea thoughtfully, the mouse adds "Why wouldn't your mum like the 'verse?"
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki nods fiercely, smiling. "Yes! Sheena's my teammate, and one of my best friends!" she claims. This of course doesn't explain why Sheena/Eisen is a human who occasionally becomes something else, while Yuuki describes herself as no longer human. She nods again to mention of Alfheim. "There's other game worlds too, but I'm from Alfheim Online." Again, no explanation of the inconsistency of coming from Tokyo. It might seem obvious though that Yuuki has a bit of a disconnect between her original self and her current self.

Rather than go into any of those inconsistencies, of course, Yuuki just enjoys the tales. She laughs to the idea of hitting baseballs like your doubters. She's not vengeful, always reacting to the immediate rather than anticipating something in the future, but she can certainly picture whacking effigies of her detractors!
Josuke Higashikata     At the mention of Alfheim, Josuke nods! "That's it," he confirms. "I happened to run into her at a game store, and she told me about it." He does however smile when Leyanne assures him that the feline player got to continue. "Good," he says, once again. As for his mom? He looks sheepish. "I actually don't know if she'd like it or not," he notes. "Just... she doesn't have a Stand. And she's the type that doesn't take crap, you know? That's an attitude that'd get her hurt out here. Or worse." His voice goes quiet, and he tilts his head down again. "...I already lost my grandfather. I don't want to lose her too."

Yuuki's confirmation that it was indeed the same world that she and Sheena are both from gets his attention, though, and he looks up again with a nod. "I've offered to help fix things, if they can be fixed," he says. "It works like one of those RPGs, right? Someone gives you a quest, you go do the thing, and it fixes things? RPGs always have end-games, right?" Sadly, the concept of an MMO that keeps adding material so the game never actually 'ends' is not one that someone from 1999 knows.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods a little as Josuke talks about his mom, and how the 'verse would be dangerous for somene like her. "I get you, I understand. I'd want to keep her safe, too."
"I've never been to one of those places I don't think, I'd be interested in how it works... I mean, does following the quests make things better, or worse?" She looks over at Josuke "I think it's a rolling-content, there's sorta end-game content but I think... whatever's behind it is fairly constantly making new stuff"
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki's not sure if her world can be fixed. And while in the abstract she can see that fixing it would be a good thing, she isn't really capable of planning around such a future. It's just too overwhelming, too far in the future, when she's focussed much more immediately.

Strangely Yuuki's expression flickers a few times when Josuke talks. Mention of his lost grandfather and potentially losing his mother triggers more of a reaction than anything else, even more than mention of her world needing fixing. For that matter she actually seems intrigued by Josuke offering to help fix the world, and his thoughts therein. "I don't know about the quests." she admits. "I don't think they make things any better in the long run since quests tend to respawn, but maybe we just need to go elsewhere?" she suggests.

It's not like this has never come up. "I can't imagine a quest to completely end the game." she notes. "But Sword Art Online had something like that, right? Clear the game and it ends? So maybe that's what we'll have to do!" Yuuki says enthusiastically. She can't really grasp the enormity of that task, but the idea of somehow doing so charges her up... at least for the moment. "Like, clearing the Aincrad Flying Castle or something. Plus finishing the endgame in GGO and the other games!"
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke gives a small smile when Leyanne seems to understand his dilemma. "Fortunately most of the regular people don't know about the warpgate. The Speedwagon Foundation's got it... well, not exactly on lockdown -- they can't stop me from leaving, and I doubt they could stop anyone coming in from outside. But they do have control of the site, and keep most of the regular civilians away. Either way, I don't expect Mom to bother with it if she sees suits up there."

And then Leyanne mentions the game world overlap adding more content. He blinks, confused. "How does...?" he begins. But then he reasons, "Oh. Well, I guess if it could change reality enough to 'create' the game world in the real world, then it could keep altering things to make more stuff happen that needs fixed."

Yuuki's mention of the quests respawning gets a frown. "So you save the princess... and then an hour later she's kidnapped again? That sucks." Yes, he's using the Platforming Plumber Pals scenario for comparison. "But it wouldn't be just one quest. One would lead to another, and the events would slowly start to shift towards 'fixed' over time, you know?" The mention of clearing the various games' representations gets a nod. "Yeah! Like that. Maybe if you clear them all your world will return to normal."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace listens to the two of them, nodding. "I don't know how it might work, but the multiverse is weird. There comes a point were if you try and understand it you'll lose your mind." She chuckes. "That might work... but I wouldn't know." She sits back to listen, seemingly quite content to let them discuss something she's got little to no experience of, and learn by listening.
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki frowns, though she doesn't seem upset. It's just confusion. "Nooo, the princess wouldn't get kidnapped again." she supposes, not entirely certain. "More like someone else gets kidnapped instead. Or the monsters start raiding farms, or someone loses an heirloom or something." she says. "Different quests, some of them really inconvenient for people in the area. Not all of them. But the game seems to need to keep a certain number of active quests in any area, and if there isn't enough something else will happen?" she claims. It's a puzzling phenomenon, and she really doesn't get why actual real people are getting roped into things against their will as questgivers. Assuming it's against their will anyways. Leyanne's probably right.... don't try too hard to understand.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke pauses at Leyanne's cautionary words. "...Actually that makes sense," he observes. "Trying to figure out the tiny little details of anything can drive you nuts. I guess the Multiverse is the same, just... bigger. LOTS bigger."

Yuuki starts to explain the way the quests work in the overlapped world. "Oh, I see. So not the same thing exactly, but... something close. Or just 'something' happening. It's like... well, a story that doesn't have conflict would probably be pretty boring to read. Maybe that has something to do with it?" he suggests.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "It'd be pretty boring to play as a game, too." Leyanne agrees, sipping her tea. "Though then again that depends on the kind of game or story." She shrugs. "I don't follow it, man, I just try to help folks where I can and hope it all works out!" She laughs
Yuuki Konno     "It WOULD be boring wouldn't it?" Yuuki laughs, pleased by the comparison. "But I really don't know what we can do about this. I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with school these days!" she claims. Of course her school is one for would-be monster hunters, which Josuke likely knows if he knows Sheena and knows about Faunus. The curriculum's probably a little rough.

"I'm just an ordinary girl. Not a hero, just someone who plays one in online games." she claims. It's not false modesty; this is something she actually believes. She's seen REAL heroes, ones who weren't playing, who make that sort of thing their life. It's also quite probably a screaming lie, even if one Yuuki's unaware of, given her behavior challenging a demonic deathgame recently for no real game besides doing something that was right.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke nods to Leyanne's observation. "That too," he agrees. "Even simulation games have a goal to work towards and adversity to overcome, right?" Though... yeah, the other thing too. "Yeah. Sometimes you have to just work with what you got at the time -- fix what's in front of you right then and don't worry about what's coming."

Yuuki's mention of the school gets a nod. "If you guys have to fight those skull-headed things all the time, I bet," he notes. "I gotta hand it to you, those things are WAY worse than anything I've faced in my world so far. And you guys fight those all the time?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks over at Yuuki. "Pull the other one, Yuuki it's got bells on!" She declares. Then she clarifies. "What I mean is... considering this is the multiverse? All a hero is, really, is a person - no matter their ability or standing in life - who stands up to do what is right for no other reason than it's the right thing to do. Your actions in the game 'verse affect real people... and it's not like playing those games is without risk is it?"
She looks at Josuke. "That's another one of the weirder ones, that's for sure. It's not quite what we usually face, but... you do never know what you're gonna be looking at."
Yuuki Konno     "Grimm? They're easy!" Yuuki insists with a grin. Then she pauses. "At least the little ones. The big ones can get nasty." she concedes. "I'd rather face them than a surprise quiz though!" she says.

Leyanne's words get a puzzled look. Yuuki wasn't trying to pull anyone's leg of course. Still she considers it, frowning. "Well, I guess it's risky." she agrees. "And it helps people. But I'm just a schoolgirl! That's all I really wanted to be for a while now!" she says, not quite wailing. Ever since she lost the ability to go to school, ever since she was too sick to go out, that's been one of her simple ambitions. Just to be an ordinary girl. While that was unavailable to her, she settled for being Alfheim Online's greatest duellist and Boss's nightmare. She fixes what's in front of her and doesn't worry about what's coming next, just like Josuke says. And that just doesn't seem to her like what a real hero should be... because it's not the sort of hero she sees in the stories, or from those heroic friends of hers that she rarely sees outside their heroic-mode activities.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke agrees with Leyanne's description of a hero, "Yeah. Like that high school student. He could have asked her to take him to the hospital too. He could have thrown us out and stolen the car. But he didn't. Even though he was hurt himself, he helped us. That's what I'd call a hero." And the mention of being one of the weirder things? He nods. "Definitely. I found out the hard way that the exposed skull is exactly the opposite of a weak point." Reflexively he rubs his knuckles, wincing with remembered pain.

And he snickers at Yuuki's preference for Grimm than a pop quiz. "Punching something is a bit more straightforward, isn't it?" he agrees. "Though I don't think it was the Grimm itself that my problem. Just I picked the wrong place to start punching, I think. I mean, I still beat the thing, but it hurt."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "Punching is what I like to do. My left arm's pretty good at it... beyond that I'm good with guns. Most man-portable firearms I can get a respectable grouping with. And, uh... I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie." That's something of an understatement. She's starred on several Jackass-alikes throughout the multiverse, so it's possible they might already be aware of that. "Beyond that, I build bikes."
And, of course, she's a giant cyborg.
Yuuki Konno     "You PUNCHED a Grimm?" Yuuki asks, clearly impressed. She winces at the idea of punching one in that skull mask, or anywhere for that matter. But punching a Grimm? Wow. "I mean, I just use a sword. No guns or anything, and a lot of people there think I'm crazy for not having some kind of gun-sword combo weapon!"

Well, they think she's crazy until they see her in actual battle. See her fighting Grimm as if they were standing still. She may use only a sword, but she's damn good at it.
Josuke Higashikata     "It's the easiest thing for me to use in a fight, too," Josuke replies, to Leyanne's mention of being good at punching. "Sometimes I need to get creative. Or do something really stupid. Or do something creatively stupid." Josuke is scarily aware of what his Stand's capabilities are, and has been known to abuse its limits as well as its strengths, after all.

But he gets a sheepish look when Yuuki asks him about punching a Grimm. "Crazy Diamond did actually, he punches harder. But I can feel it when he hits something, or when something hits him. And the... I guess you'd call it feedback. The feedback was pretty painful."

As for using a gun? "Well... I can see the need for long-range damage," Josuke notes. "Crazy Diamond's range is pretty short too, so I know that feeling. But hey, what works for you, works for you, right? What's the phrase? 'You do you'?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods in agrement with Josuke "Bingo, youo got it. Whatever it is you are, do your thing and be yourself."
He nods "Crazy diamond is pretty sweet, though I wish I could get good footage of him. My eye just completely jinxes up when it sees him
Yuuki Konno     "Crazy Diamond?" Yuuki asks. "That's that guy then? That purple guy?" she asks. Well not purple, not exactly. However given Yuuki's artifical hair color and the primary color choice of her garments, it's possible the girl's drawn to purple if not outright obsessed with it. Well, probably not obsessed... she DOES still manage to have an aesthetically-pleasing amount of crimson and gold in the outfit as well.

She nods, and gives a somewhat smug look. "No, you're right. I mean, I can learn magic too based on being an imp, but I don't." she says. "The sword is what works for me!" she adds. Plus, it's far more fun!
Josuke Higashikata     "It does?" Josuke seems confused at Leyanne's issue. "I'm not really too surprised -- most of the people in my world can't see Crazy Diamond, only other people who have abilities like that. I didn't realize it would screw up the sight in your eye though. I'm sorry about that." He sounds rather contrite.

He doesn't seem to mind Yuuki calling Crazy Diamond 'purple'. He likes purple too, after all. But he nods. "That's him, yeah. It's called a Stand. My uh, nephew knows a lot about them, I think he calls them manifestations of psychic abilities." He blinks, though, when Yuuki mentions magic. "Magic? From the game?" It makes sense, with the whole 'game world overlapping on the real world'.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles "It's not your fault. It just looks a bit odd, he's... kind of static and fuzzy." She shrugs. "Not enough that it causes serious problems, mind. I just can't get a clear image of him with the cybernetic. It's actually kinda interesting, I wouldn't mind investigating what's going on and why it happens, but I'm not -really- that much of a science type." She grins.
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki nodnods to the explanation of Stands. She may not know of true psychics in her world and they might not be an actual thing where she's from, but they're surely a staple of shounen manga and anime!

She focusses more on the issue of magic. "Darkness magic, because I'm an Imp." Yuuki explains. "You know, poison, blinding, familiars, tentacles..." she pauses. "Kind of cool stuff admittedly! But hard to learn and not much fun. Plus I've duelled a lot of mages and it's never helped any of them beat me!" she says playfully, flashing a victory sign proudly.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles "It's like rock-paper-scissors. Whatever you do, there's something you'll be good at, something you'll be weak against. It's all about finding a team you fit with and working with them... like when me and Slab Bulkhead get together. He's a nice bulwark for me, you know? I think the gaming term is 'tank'"
By Slab Bulkhead she means, of course, Reinhardt Wilhelm.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke thinks about that. "Hmm. I've seen cameras go weird when ghosts are nearby," he notes. "Maybe it's something like that... the energy's similar to electromagnetic, so it messes with your cameras?" He pauses when Yuuki begins to describe her magical abilities. "The... 'bad' stuff, right? Indirect stuff, mainly?" He gives a thoughtful 'hmm'. "You could use poison magic to enhance your sword strikes," he notes. "That's pretty straightforward. Also locking down movement, misdirection -- I can see all that being useful in a fight."

But alas! He notes, "I probably should get going." He stands up, and then looks at Leyanne. "I came to see how you were doing, after what happened in Brimsteel." And then looking to Yuuki, "It was good to have met you. Sorry we got off on the wrong foot at first, though."
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki laughs in a way she probably means to sound wicked and terrifying, but just makes her sound even younger and girlier than she is. "Oh yes, fear the evil Imp!" she cackles. "Fear the darkness! Flee! Flee!"

The girl DOES look Impish at least, when she's doing this sort of foolery. It's not like she has an evil bone in her body though. "But yes, nice meeting you Josuke! Hope to see you again, maybe at Beacon or on my world!" she says. As for being punched... it's possible she's entirely forgotten about it! Or at least she seems to not care about such things.

And then, not quite ready to leave herself, she engages Leyanne in a frivolous and entirely boring conversation about tanking, DPS, and working with your team. Saying so entirely in game terms in such a way that it seems uncertain if she even considers such things as applicable to real-life battles too...
Leyanne Leyanne Mace smiles to Josuke "Ah thank you. I'm not this beat up from Brimsteel though - I got off fairly lightly after that, just a few holes. Nah, it was that Bloody Revelation's game thing that messed me up like this." She chuckles. "Have a nice day, yeah? Come back any time... once you've got your driving lisence maybe I can build you a car"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace giggles at the imp and darkness, grinning. "Evil is cute." she says, finishing her tea and setting the mug down.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke can't help but laugh a bit when Yuuki cackles. He's not laughing AT her, mind. He's laughing WITH her. And he nods to her mention of seeing him later. "Entirely possible I might see you at Beacon," he notes. "Particularly if they have another big problem with Grimm." He smiles.

He tilts his head, though, at Leyanne's mention of 'Bloody Revelation'. He doesn't know who that is, or what game she's talking about. "Must have been a pretty rough game," he notes. "I didn't think you'd lost an arm in Brimsteel, yeah. But, I hope you feel better soon," he offers brightly. As for building him a car? His eyes go a bit wide. "Whoa. I dunno if I could afford that. But I'll definitely be thinking about it! Thanks!"

That said, he offers a parting wave to the two ladies and heads back downstairs to get his coat. Because it is FREEZING outside! To him, anyway.
