Karian Icefang     The time had come at long last. Transport had been arranged, as had plans to ensure a future for his company. Karian was uneasy as his transport docked with the Inquisition ship, 'The Emperor's Light'. Met in the hanger by a squad of Imperial Stormtroopers, the 'accused' is led past many open doors. Inside were individuals strapped to chairs, surrounded by Gun servitors and an ominously dressed interrogator. It was obvious to all what was about to occur to those poor souls.
After a long walk, Knight-Commander Crex gave a nod from under his helmet. "Karian Icefang. The Inquisitor is inside. I will not intrude on his trial, but know that if I hear so much as a raised voice from him, I will not enter nicely." He says. After a moment, the doors open and Inquisitor Atrox offers an almost friendly smile. "Lord Icefang....Welcome."
Mortimer Balman      Mortimer has spared few expenses in appearing in proper Imperium regalia. His finest clothes, adorned with silver-plated skull iconography, except for the boots which are plated with silver aquilas. A genuine purity seal hangs from the right epaulette of the suit, very brightly proscribing Mortimer's 'cleanliness' in the eyes of the God-Emperor- along with some of his more widely known efforts to protect the Imperium's people and worlds- with the seal of the Ordo Malleus plain as day to prove it. Hanging by his left hip is a Fenrisian-pattern combat blade, one of the ones given to him from the Fang's own armories, and a similar Fenris-pattern bolt pistol on the right hip. The look on his face is grave and serious, albeit partially shadowed by the high collar that Imperium clothes so favor.

The old war-badger is flanked by not one but two 'aides' today. First and foremost is his butler, Switchbait, who is wearing a similarly fine and expertly tailored suit that marks his place as a servant. It even has tiny skull iconography and a little golden aquila that goes across his thorax. He flutters at an even pace beside his Master.

Furthermore the servitor Alter is there, having been given a 'tune up' by the Iron Priests of the Fang, so that he isn't quite so twitchy and clunky as he normally is. Programmed servility keeps his head bowed to the ground, though his right eye darts about wildly- perhaps seeing to perceive a threat to his 'lord'. It is Alter that announces his arrival to the vox-receivers on The Emperor's Light, and he follows precisely 3 steps to the right and 6 steps behind Mortimer as he walks.

He could only hope that the others who were arriving would heed his advice. This was NOT a court system like what they would be expecting, this was a savage battlefield of cutthroat politics and subtlety. A show of force was fine, but expectations of a proper trial and justice would be a fool's errand. Let's hope they remember that..
Staren     "This whole thing is a sham. The Inquisitor has made it clear he considers the Space Wolves worthless mutants, and this is just an excuse to kill you. I don't know how you expect any other outcome unless we fight our way through them -- if you know something I don't, you should /freaking tell us/." Staren comments bitterly before they dock.

He is prepared to fight his way out -- he's swapped to his heavily armored robot body, which will possibly freak out the Inquisitors more; at least he didn't bring the skull helmet this time -- then again, maybe being mistaken for a Necron would have been more intimidating. He's wearing a labcoat, cut in places to make sure the weapons can fire through, in a mocking nod to his supposed position of 'doctor' today.

He nods to Mortimer. "Seeing an alien dressed in Imperial clothes is only gonna piss 'em off more, right?" he comments, neutrally.
Flamel Parsons     Flamel Parsons is not here.

Instead, he is holding a sort of weird legal seance. He gathered everyone who wanted to give the far more direct emotional or combat support to Karian up with him, bringing them together to enter Karian's mind. The odd process yanked each of them in turn, in a dramatic psychic rush, into the Space Wolf's mind; the task is made far easier since he's meaning for them to be there. "Hey there! So, full disclosure, I'm used to far, far more gentle unethical government mind probing! We're gonna deal with some wayyy... Less so sorts of things. From the sound of it, we'll basically see a psychic-- well, a psychic monster or berserker or rampage of sorts break into here, and then we'll have to fight it. Or just keep it from breaking things. But it'll want to look around for some memories, and we have to let it LOOK at them, just not break everything else."

"From his side, we should just look like a lot of really resilient mental defenses! So, settle in, set up any defenses and emplacements and stuff like that, any you need. I don't know how useful I'll be in here when push comes to shove, since Karian and I aren't really close buds or anything, so you guys will have a whole lot more weight in here than I do when it comes to keeping him together. If you've got moral support, here's where you'll need to give it."

As for what the interior of Karian's mind looks like... That might be another matter entirely. Parsons theorized that it would mostly look like his views of Fenris, which should make it defensible.
Kirito Kirito 'materializes' in the psyscape of Karian under Flamel Parson's power, blurring into existence as a flicker of black and the gleam of a blade edge... which quickly resolves and sharpens into the unmistakable form of the Black Swordsman of Aincrad, Elucidator and Dark Repulsor resting in the crossed scabbards mounted on his back. The black-haired youth answers this explanation with a firm nod...

And declares, "From the sound of it, the Imperium's Psykers are either clumsy, or are instructed to sabotage... here's hoping it doesn't show up as something Gojira-like." Kirito REALLY hopes it's not a Kaiju, which is his first impression of what a 'monster stomping around destroying things' would be.

Not a 'Boss Monster.' They're always Guarding Something, which is very different.

"If the speaker team does a good job though, we won't be needed."
Tomoe Tomoe is not at the legal session, no she'sd not be of much use there. Yet here? She would be of more use doing this. She wasn't sure what to expect other than what Flamel warned her about her. she takes a look at Flamel andnods a little bit she has no idea what's in here she gets ready and wonders what she'll be like? Wait lets be honest here, she damn well /knows/ what her core sense of self it and it sure ain't Sheena anymore.

She looked to Kirito for amomentand she nods.

"I hope so, Kirito that wewon't be needed."

She looks about thepysch scape and The iron Lily looks over to the Black Swordman.

"Could be both from what I know things live to /eat/ them. When ever they use their powers or it's that..."
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna's had a busy week, and she's still not exactly at the top of her game - but she's well enough to help a friend, and that's what really counts. She wasn't entirely sure whether to stick with Karian in the real world or join the team supporting him from inside, but given what the real world would involve - and her own gut reaction to the mere *thought* of that - support from inside Karian's mind seemed like the best option.

"If they bring something terribly huge in," Yuna says to her friends from Alfheim - almost literally from Alfheim, given the powerset they're bringing - "then we scale up to confront it. If all else fails, I can bring El-Line to bear, while you guys climb around and look for weak points to stab. All we can do for now is wait and stay watchful, right?"

She may sound more positive about this than she really feels; after all, if anything DOES manifest in Karian's mindscape, then it means they're already torturing him ... and the mere thought of that sends a frisson of light crackling over her Light Suit. But that's exactly why she didn't think being there in person was such a good idea; she knows herself, she knows her reactions, and she knows what her strengths and weaknesses are. She also trusts Mortimer to do everything in his power, and Staren to do whatever he thinks is a good idea.

.... yeah, she probably has a lot more faith in the fiery old warrior.

In the meantime, the Matrix of Light are standing watch in different regions of the nearby mindscape, as best their varied abilities allow. Elner is on general overwatch for the time being, whatever good that'll do, while Jiina, Marina, and Erina keep patroling further away from Yuna, mindful not to probe too deeply into the recesses of Karian's psyche. They're here as visitors and protectors, not to go exploring.
Karian Icefang     The Inquisitor watches as Karian and Mort enter into his chambers. His smile remains on his face, almost bordering on the sinister. "You must be Mortimer Balman, the mutant firebreather. A pleasure." He says. But he quickly taps a few buttons and screen emerge. Each one displayed combat actions, events and even the attack onto Aragas-25. "As you can see Mr. Balman, the evidence aganst Karian Icefang is great. Yet...it seems too good to be true. Too convenient. I don't believe in this kind of convenience, so I am inclined to believe your account of things. But I have to be sure..."
From behind the pair another door would open, and from it would emerge a Space Marine, but one unlike any they had seen before. Where his armor would bear color, his was grey. The insignia was a book with a sword through it. "Ahh, Justicar Torm. Right on time..." Switchbait would feel it first, though one didn't need to be a Psyker to feel it. The purity eminating from this man was PALPABLE. Torm walked passed Karian and Mortimer and sighed. "For what it's worth, Lord Icefang, I'm sorry it came to this. I have respect for you and your chapter. I will try to make this as painless as I can." He says, before placing his hand onto Karian's shoulder.
On the Psyscape, it bore a striking resemblance to Fenris and the fang. But behind the group there, a door was HEAVILY chained up, with animalistic growling coming from behind. But if they looked to the 'sky', they would see what looked like a shell falling to the ground. But just before it impacted, it would right itself and....wings would appear. The glow around it would suggest holy and the power would crack the ground. This was the invader, the chosen psyker. But it gave off the sheer preseance of purity. That said, as it's gaze swooped over all, Karian's mind reeled, and some of the chains on that door began to break.
Mortimer Balman      "Then you understand why I am here at all, Lord Inquisitor." Mortimer looked on at Karian tied to the chair with concern. And then his eyes turned toward Artox, producing a pipe from his pocket and lighting it with a breath. The scent of apple-flavored tobacco- hopefully Karian would find the familiar scent calming- would waft throughout the room. "You have read all accounts, you have seen the footage- which is, admittedly, still being verified by adepts of the Martian Priesthood, but you could have waited for that. Everything you have seen is more than enough justification for what Jarl Icefang has done." A deep breath and a long exhale. He wanted to punch the smile off the Inquisitor's face. "If you have suspicions regarding convenience, then you-" A pause. Mortimer is a psyker, but a painfully low level one compared to Switchbait, who looks almost dazzled by the appearance of the Justicar- for a moment. The dazzlement fades rapidly. Mortimer would begin to move shortly after the Justicar placed his hand on Karian's shoulder.

"I am surprised to see one of the Grey Legion here.." Now facing the man- who was by at least a full head, taller than Mortimer, Mort seemed unphased by the Knight's vaunted 'purity' and angelic aura. "Understand this, Justicar. If Karian must suffer a bit of pain, that is fine. Expected, even. Pain is fleeting. But this is a valuable servant of your Emperor, and it would be.. Heretical to waste /His/ resources. I have little faith in purity.. Only in deed and effect." His tone softened a bit, "..I ask only that my faith in /your/ deeds is not misplaced." And then, he moved back toward the Inquisitor.

"This goes a good bit beyond /your/ jurisdiction if I am not mistaken, Artox. If I am, then you are playing games of a most dangerous sort. I will change my stance on this- I hope now, if for no other sake than your own, you are not the one /being/ played. That would be.. Unfortunate."
Yuna Kagurazaka "Shugoseiheki," Yuna says softly but clearly as she sees that shining form take shape and descend, and her kite shield manifests on her left forearm. "Matrix, form up with me, the 'visitor' is already here."

And with that, Jiina and Marina and Erina break off from their 'patrols' and fly back to where Yuna is with Kirito and Tomoe. Elner is descending from 'overwatch' position as well; there isn't much the robo-faerie can do to support Yuna from there with the situation developing as it is.

For now, Yuna is watching that angelic visage descend, even as she moves to place herself in front of the chained door. She's not launching an attack yet - if it made Karian seem 'guilty' or 'impure,' then it could do more harm than good. But as seemingly pure as the intruder feels, Yuna already has a strong suspicion about how this is likely to go ...

And what if that purity is itself inhuman in its origin?
Staren     Staren is... surprised! But he doesn't drop his guard entirely. This could be a trick. "If you're inclined to believe it, then why were you talking like that on the radio?" He blinks. "Oh... a show for whoever set this up, huh? Sheesh. Well, it isn't helping the Imperium's reputation with the Multiverse at large." He pokes Karian's arm. "YOU could have said something to us in private, you know."
Tomoe The form Tomoe took was more clearly that of the Salamander. She looks to see Yuna joining them ansd she looks to her for a moment she can sense the angelic thing descending towards them and she feel sher self pale a bit. She moves toward sthe door to get in the way, she has no weapon out yet but she will face teh angel like being down for the moment. She holds her ground but she does not pull her weapon just yet. She does look at it and stand her ground. She's got Yuna and Kirito with her...
Karian Icefang     Karian grits his teeth as he feels the Grey Knight enter his mind. IT's never a pleasent feeling, and in this case his mind instantly starts breaking apart. The chains on the door in his mind shatter even more, allowing a deep howl to explode out. It drew the attention of the 'Angel' who turned his head slightly. But in spotting the others there, he instead dove down into the 'storage center of Karian's mind. He had a mission, and was not going to let this distract him.
On the meatspace, Atrox turned and considered Mort's words for a moment. "You are right, of course. But..." He started, but leaned in close. "Orlox has eyes everywhere. He was a powerful Inquisitor Lord, and has many allies. Even now they would help him. The Vindicare, for example. Someone with access to the temple's leaders is still in his pocket. So we had to make it look like we suspected Lord Icefang. Even now we are making an act. 'All war is deception...'" Atrox explains. But then to Staren, Atrox tilts his head. "Lord Icefang did not know we were making this show. You see, in order to accurately judge if he was aware of this plot, he had to be kept in the dark." He then turns and looks to both Mort and Staren and grin again, even wider. "Do not forget who you deal with, Gentlemen. We are the Ordo Hereticus. You may not like our methods, but we ensure the purity of the Inquisition...One way or another, and through any means necessary."
Staren     Staren crosses his arms and sighs. "It's an uneasy peace at best. You seem like you're smarter than the Coalition though -- unless they're in the middle of fighting off demons or something, they shoot mages and aliens on sight. But if you can recognize that we're worth talking to, why all the talk of purging the filthy mutant xeno heretics and whatnot? It really makes you look bad in the eyes of the Multiverse... which as you've seen, contains powerful allies."
Yuna Kagurazaka This is looking worse with every passing moment. On the one hand, Karian's inner self is reacting to the intrusion in what seems, in retrospect, like the most obvious possible means - the core of rage, the 'inner wolf' as Yuna guessed it when Karian warned them about it, is straining at whatever bonds hold it back, driven to destroy the intruder. On the other hand, that 'angelic' presence - or projection, if Yuna were able to make the connection - is looking around, and it's pretty much been confirmed that if the psyker's projection spots Karian's inner wolf, it'll be treated as immediate proof of a corruptive daemonic presence.

That doesn't leave Yuna helpless, though. Quite the opposite, in fact - far from fighting, there's something she's uniquely equipped to do that can help calm the wolf down.

o/~    The blue sky is full
Of our feelings, scattered and drifting
It'd be so nice if you were my destined one
But reality doesn't go that smoothly

That something, of course, is singing. There's no backing music, at least not unless Elner starts projecting the instrumentals ... or unless Karian remembers this song well enough to provide the music which accompanies the lyrics. But Yuna's sung without music before, and she's not going to lose ground fretting about the details - she just sings.

o/~    In the shining wind,
Feathers of dreams drift and dance
Gather your courage for the future,
    Like that, so beautifully ...

She has no idea how the angelic projection is going to react to an outside presence like herself, no matter what she's doing. But if they're going to be treated as evidence of a different corruption anyway, then Karian was doomed from the start and all they *can* do is fight their way out.

o/~    The hot heartbeat starting to move
Is etching the same speed as it did that day
    I like your straightforward expression;
I want to keep looking at it forever

Fine then. So be it; the stage is as much Yuna's battlefield as anywhere she's borne weapons or armor, moreso in many respects, and if singing is the best thing she can do to help a friend in need, she *will* sing - and no force of Chaos, darkness, or evil will stop her from singing her heart out for somebody who needs her.
Flamel Parsons     Parsons chatters on the radio, tensely watching the ongoing staredowns, nervously peering at the troubling array of feral influences, and otherwise worrying about the resilient but yet relatively fragile integrity of the mental landscape he finds himself in.

Yuna... Does Yuna have this under control? Maybe she does. "Hey!" He calls out to Tomoe. "Let's go keep an eye on the brainprobe, okay?" He worries, surging ahead. He launches off his feet in a levitation, surging forward through the mind to follow along at high speed. Every mind has impurities, imperfections, insecurities, inadequacies, and other deficiencies. Flamel is no exception, and neither, he expects, is Karian. The only thing he can hope to do, as the psionic angel surges through the brain, is to make sure he observes any imperfections first... And then project a strong DEFENSIVE FIELD between the angel and the fabric of Karian's mind. The sort of field one can look through, but which will blunt the debilitating damage that the powerful psyker may otherwise do on his way to the memory centers.
Mortimer Balman      Mortimer's ears flicker a bit. "If that is the case, Lord Inquisitor- the only people you can even begin to trust.. Are all standing in this room with you as we speak." The tired old badger looked at Staren. "Control, of course, my boy. Before Unification, this is the result of 10,000 years of steadily evolving culture and law. These methods are extreme because the threats they have faced have /forced/ them along such a route. But.. The High Lords of Terra have, at the very least, have proven smarter than simply declaring war on the Multiverse for its "failings"- I use the term loosely, of course." A few more puffs on the pipe, filling the room with a bit more of that sweet apple smoke.

"I understand the situation of this Empire better than most, Inquisitor. I am a fortunate person in that I can actually /comprehend/ the number of lives and souls you and yours are responsible for trying to safeguard. I still disapprove of your methods, though, because they are offensively wasteful. But.. Even then, that is an aspect of evolution, and can be forgiven. As can the pain Karian must endure right now. I only care that your methods do not waste precious resources- Karian Icefang is a valuable resource, Artox. With the benefit of a few centuries time and hindsight.. Your successors, and the indeed whole Imperium, may yet revere him as a saint for all the good he has brought to this blighted empire."
Tomoe Tomoe is not sure what to do, she really is not she knows how to tank, she can fight but calm a rage like this? If she was honest? It was akin to the rage she felt at the man who made SAO in the first place. She will stand her ground she will protect Yuna to let her sing and she's praying silenly too as she moves to keep between her an eveyrthing else the Angel is powerful she can feel it even through what Flamel has put up here. She's also got to keep na eye on the probe so she hears Flamel's idea nd she'll spread her own wings, to take flight and follows after Flamel.

"I really don't like the way this is going."
Karian Icefang     That music...It does perhaps the unthinkable. It causes the howling, door slamming, and noises from behind the barred door to stop. It even somehow reforges the locks and seals, strengthens them even. Behind it, the raging beast was curled up and asleep, finally at rest after decades of eternal war. Elsewhere, Flamel's efforts were successful for the most part. But strangely, the Angel ignores some of the imperfections he see's and lands at long last at the memory center. The doors open with little resistance, and there he see's it. Everyone in that moment see's shared memories. Memories of better days, when the Space Wolves were gathered around a fire, telling stories and boasts of their battles and conquests. Among those who were around this fire were the brothers lost. Bryn, Ulric, Jerik, Lod. Names inscribed onto a memorial now within the wolf lord's mind. A flash and the Angel was seeing exactly what Karian saw in the Manufactorum. Everyone in his mind would feel the pain, loss, anger, and sorrow that Karian felt. He had failed his brothers in that moment, and that there was no greater injury or wound he could feel. The angel sighed and nodded. "As I suspected. Lord Icefang would not feel this way if he sent these men to their deaths. He is no traitor. He never was and never will be. He would walk through hell itself for the Imperium.....truely we are lucky to have him......and he is lucky to have all of you at his side." The Angel said, turning around to look at everyone in the mindscape. Somehow, he knew they were there but did nothing.
Artox nodded. "You do, Mr. Balman. You understand better then I expected anyone outside of the Imperium to." He then turns to Staren and sighs. "We carry a heavy burden, son. Some of us for longer then others, in the case of Crex. He used words I would not have used, but that is his nature. He distrusts anything not human. I am more...practical. But much of the Inquisition does not trust the Multiverse, but a growing number is starting to." He says, turning back to Mortimer. "You may also be right about him. Maybe in time we will venerate him as a saint. But...be wary where you say that. Some more zealous souls among my retinue take offense."
Staren     "I see. Perhaps in time, more of you will adapt. Or maybe the Multiverse will be able to solve some of the problems you face, and gain a... positive reputation that way." He uncrosses his arms, and glances over at the psycker and Karian.
Mortimer Balman      A small smile was given to Artox. "There are a handful of benefits to a life as absurdly long as mine has been. As I once told Logan Grimnar, Inquisitor, I have but one wish left in the fading twilight of my lifespan: to leave the universe a better place than I found it. Have no fear- I can be mindful around zealots.. But if I have to piss a few off to nudge the rest of you in a better direction, I'm always willing to let someone try to burn me at the stake again. It's always funny when they try.." A chuckle. "I must say, that was a ballsy move announcing Karian's trial with a Black Templar. Gives the concept of 'playing with fire' a new definition. I think the only thing more dangerous would have been assigning one of the Adepta Sororitas as my adjutant."

Looking less like a formidable ancient of war and more like a tired old man, Mortimer looked up at the Knight. "Good job, son. I'm glad my faith was not misplaced. It's a pity you people are forbidden so much contact with the rest of the Imperium.. A man like you, should be made to have a family. Spread the metaphorical gene-seed a bit farther than simply the progenoid gland. You smoke, son?" He'd hold out a pouch of tobacco for the Knight. "You've earned a few pipes today, I think."
Yuna Kagurazaka The song continues past that first chorus, and Yuna keeps singing, even after the beast within Karian's mind is soothed back into slumber. Maybe she could leave that spot and continue singing, or focus on assisting the others, but ... well, to be honest? She prefers to sing. If there's a danger, the others will tell her - and she should be able to join them quickly enough if necessary.

It's Elner who does go after the projection of an angel, following it and the others to the center of Karian's memories. And so Elner sees and hears that the investigation has found Karian innocent - not that Yuna needs the robo-faerie to feel the angel's acceptance of Karian's innocence, and their presence.

So as Yuna's song continues, it's more relaxed, less fretful ... more *happy*. And if Karian picks up on some of that happiness? Light knows he's earned it, at least as far as Yuna's concerned.
Tomoe Tomoe holdsback she doesw not move to fight the Angel she does know just enough about this world to know Chaos is no laughing matter. For whatever one might think of the Imperium from the outside? Chaos is far, far worse. She hovers there her wings flapping as she keeps her self aloft, for ho it might work in the plane of the mind. After all it is akin to a dream world. The people all here are material being and putitng the mindscape into things they can understand is jut how their minds work? She doesn't say much but she hovers there her wings flapping htis ios a world that makes her feel very small after all.
Flamel Parsons     Parsons looks tense as he floats among the memories, glancing side to side anxiously. "Whole brain's practically dedicated to his brothers-in-arms." He says, nodding cautiously to the fellow psychic. "Hadn't looked at it until now. And I didn't know him that well. But it really is dedication." He makes a plaintive gesture, hands wide. "You know why we're here. You don't just have a dedicated soldier. You've also got a lucky one." He grins widely. "Makes him all the more valuable, doesn't it? Sorry about the fields, you've got a really... Heavy way of getting in and getting around. So is this all settled...?" He's anxious, but hopeful. This was difficult, but at least straightforward so far.
Karian Icefang     In the mindscape, the Angel nods towards everyone and imparts a message to them all. "I find no trechery, or taint of corruption. Instead, I find faith and conviction. I find strength, and loyalty...and I find friends willing to stand at Lord Icefang's side. I have read the Emperor's Tarot...He will need your strength more then ever before in the days to come. Dark times come...Stand strong, and you will overcome." With that said, and a massive flap of his wings, the being takes to the air and disperses.
On the physical space, the Knight nods. "Yes, Mr. Balman....but our father made us for one purpose. We are the light. 'I am the hammer, I am the right hand of the Emperor, the instrument of His will, the gauntlet about His fist, the tip of His spear, the edge of His sword.'" Torm says, staring at a statue of the Emperor in the Inquisitor's room. Artox nods with that. "It seems we owe an apology to the Space Wolves, more then an apology. I hereby declare Karian Icefang innocent, and that he is under my ward. All actions he needs to take are declared sanctioned by Imperial Rite. Until the Traitor's Orlox and Grelx are brought before Judgement or given the Emperor's Divine Punishment." He says, nodding. Then he grins. "Then, Gentlemen......Let this be the first of many successful operations, and may it create a unity between us."
Staren     Staren nods slightly at the declaration, watching the Imperials. Until they're all out of here... can't be entirely sure it's not a trick, after all. He doesn't think it is, but that's no excuse to be unprepared. Besides, their now-mutual enemies might show up and crash the party or something.

A decade in the Multiverse makes you a bit paranoid.
Mortimer Balman      "Ah well. No worries lad, be safe, now." 'Be safe', he says, to a Grey Knight. Doomed to die in battle. Laconic humour at its finest. Mortimer put away the tobacco. "Mmm.. I question whether or not your Emperor has any designs on /me/, but only because I know my soul is already marked by my own Gods. I wonder how if they would approve of Him doing that.. ....Heh, Celebi, probably, Mew and Jirachi might get fussy. But who knows? We will yet see. Well then Inquisitor, you have a lovely day. The rest of us, I believe we've all earned a pint. Even you, Flamel, and I don't give a flyin' ratatta's arse about those nonsensical drinking laws so many of your Earth-nations have. We'll pretend we're in Japan for a night."

Switchbait would begin leading Alter out- the Servitor was beginning to show signs of age again, sparking in odd places with the occasional crackle and slurred speech. Poor creature. Loyal if not always comprehensible, at least. Mortimer would make sure to help Karian along if he needed it, but he wouldn't force it if the proud warrior insisted on walking under his own power.
Flamel Parsons     "...Looks like that's it then." Parsons says, breathing a sigh of relief. "Think that means my work here's done too!" He isn't tied into this whole business very well, at least not right now. But he can feel satisfied about having helped ease a psychohazardous event. That's always something he's quite keen on. He flickers out of Karian's mind as well, allowing the others he brought along with him to fade out as well, and "awakening" back where they were connected from.
Yuna Kagurazaka She may still be singing, but Yuna can still convey her acceptance to the Grey Knight - a bow, and a projected wave of acknowledgement, without missing a beat. Heck, if the Grey Knight can hear her song, she doesn't mind letting him enjoy it while he can. She can always use more fans, after all!
Tomoe Tomoe is glad things seem to be oer for now. She fades away into a mist much like everyone else in their mind she's glad it's over and she fades away bac k to where she should be. Tomoe shakes her head a bit as shew rises up. "I'll never get used to things like ...that..."
