Count Kord     A rumble rolls through the ground in a region of Bayern not specifically owned by any of the noble houses... due to being remote farmland and craggy hills and mountains at the edge of the region. The farmers there have a collective heart attack as the local volcano begins to smolder and smoke, and the springs reach boiling temperatures all at once. They send out a request for help by Pidgey, and by the time responding folks would arrive, the volcano has gotten... much, much worse.

The skies are blotted black with the ashen smoke, flakes of ash falling to the ground. Magma rolls from the top of the volcano, visibly erupting plumes from quite a distance showing the volcano is angry. Crackling lightning dances from the ashen clouds. The only mercy is that it is a small volcano, so the area affected by its tantrum is much smaller than it could be. The area constantly rumbles like it hasn't even reached maximum pressure yet... but a sound accompanies the rumble.

    A Roar.

It cuts through the air, invoking imagery of an incredible predatory fury, the howl of a beast that knows nothing but fiery wrath. The source is an enormous figure at the top of the volcano, which seems to be roaring out into the rest of the Bayern as if announcing its arrival proudly to anyone that would hear. It is a strange mythical beast... it is Entei.

Kord is already here, but what he seems to be doing is picking up survivors from the remote landscape and flying them elsewhere. He is very busy doing this, and his soldiers have yet to arrive to help. He mutters under his breath about the stink of these villagers, who seem a bit unwashed and ... well they're medieval hillbillies, pretty much. But there's also a few miners that get carried off, too, and whatever Pokemon that Kord can lift on his own.

Several houses are starting to catch fire here and there, with at least one having its front door blocked by a flow of magma. The magma threatens to flow even further down toward the densely populated mining town at the base of the volcanic area, where carts with red crystals can be seen on rails leading into a mine shaft. Smoke pours from the mine shaft, and several people appear to be panicking at the mouth of the mine. Diglets and several rock-types flee the danger as well, not wanting to get smothered by smoke and magma.

There's a field of crops and a patch of trees also threatened by the lava flows... they would be entirely destroyed by the heat and flame if they aren't protected.
Robert Speedwagon     Isn't a lot a bunch of relatively normal humans can do against a volcano, really. But Speedwagon's used to being in situations where there's not a lot he can do. He just does what he can, and hopes it's enough. There's a lot of hope involved here -- mainly he hopes someone with some of those weird and magical abilities he's seen so far will be here. And he's relieved to note that there's at least one person here who he recognizes, who also has abilities he doesn't.

Speedwagon's here with his entourage, so there's extra muscle at least. He's also brought his sledgehammer! Houses with blocked doors, windows will be used to get in. And if that's not possible, walls will be taken down -- between Speedwagon's strength, that sledgehammer, and the fact that Kempo hits like a truck, it shouldn't be too difficult. Besides, Speedwagon's a former criminal, he can break into a house.

Tattoo is lighter and faster, and can dart through the partly destroyed houses, playing a game of 'the floor is lava' -- a game that might end up being partally literal -- until he finds people to bring out of the house.
Miari Volcanic eruptions threatening Concord allied territory is something Miari can and will help with! She's swift to respond, arriving within short order of the Concord receiving any alert.

    Several times, in fact.

Five different squads of an assortment of fantastic creatures not at all out of place amongst a Pokemon world burst free of the nearest warp gate. There's purple-skinned, completely hairless women with overly big eyes and puffy lips who aren't wearing much. There's big, crimson-furred apes with spikes down their backs that reek like a slaughterhouse. There's beauteous horse-sized dragonfly-esque creatures that buzz about, glowing and gleaming with rainbow hues and breathtaking features on display. There's short, stocky, mis-shapenly ogreish midgets carrying hammers, their skin thick and leathery and dry from centuries at the forge. There's tiny fist-sized beetles that skitter about...

Five groups of twenty Demons each, and each is lead by what appears to be the emerald-haired sorceress. Each copy of her sits astride one of the dragonfly-demons, directing the others to fan out to whatever population centers are imperiled and help with rescue and evacuation as needed.

And then the sixth Miari arrives. This one takes to the skies herself, buoyed aloft by swirling crimson winds that cling tightly to her form. Her skin is oily and scale-patterned and eyes crimson and reptilian, and she shines with a white-green aura that's quite visible up in the skies.

This 'last' Miari has her eyes on the distant volcano... and she grinds her teeth when a beast's roar emerges through the cacaphony.

"... Could it be, a volcano god...?"
Athela Valemore Something was coming. Something big. But the ways of the divine were abstract ones and other than that and a general impression of where to be Athela got little out of her Patron Legendary, as usual. But it already had her on alert and a little on edge, so when a frantic Pidgey appeared with its franticly scrawled message, the last piece was in place.

Though as she left Athela did hit the distress call on her communication device, one of the few tricks of the modern contraption she made sure to have someone show her how to do. That would at least put out a more Multiversal range of a call for help than the locals would have the technology to muster.

Hooves tore through the slowly smoldering ground, despite it's typing the great Gogoat the young knight used as a steed on land undeterred by the heat and flames. "By the stars above, why the bloody hell is this mount blowing it's top now?!" Thinking quickly as they gallop through one of the fields threatening to ignite Athela briefly touches one of the blue pokegems on her belt, and in a magical flash her Vaporeon appears alongside the larger goat.
"Vaaaaaa.." "Aye. We need moisture to curb the volcano's heat for as long as possible." Athela spurs her Gogoat to keep going, but Sprite slows down a bit. Even amongst the rising heat of the magma surrounding the fields a spot of coolness can be felt as she draws in her elemental energy, then throws back her head and lets loose a burst of it into the air. At the apex it 'explodes' for lack of better terms, turning into a rain-like shower of water back down upon the fields to try and keep the heat at bay from starting any wildfires amongst the dry crops.
Karian Icefang     Volcano's erupting without any real signs such is occuring are most certainly enough to draw the attention of a passing ship. Moreso with on board Astropath's report a powerful presence on planet. Deeming this a suitable enough threat, a trio of thunderhawks streak through the sky over the scene, seemingly escorting another vessel. This ship was actually a Stormwolf assault craft. Towards one heavy concentration of Lava, it deploys it's main gun, the Helfrost cannon, and bathing the lava in absolute zero. On the ground, the Space Wolves deploy. "Fan out. Rescue any and all civilians you can, brothers. Helfrost teams, set up and keep the flow from reaching any evac points."
Asterios Now, the earth is rumbling. Now, the land screams in rage. People cry for salvation. An ancient roar shakes the world.

It is answered by a voice just as primordial.

The trees tremble as /something/ thunders out from the deep woods. Ten feet tall, rippling with primal strength, clad and shackled in iron from a long-forgotten age. Its hair is a great, white mane that hangs intimidatingly over a pair of jet-black sclera. Crimson eyes glare out from the gaps between the trees as the gentle darkness of the underbrush gives way to the full light of day... and the blazing, glowing, churning rivers of magma that flow down from the mountaintop.

But why is Asterios /here?/

Well, that much is obvious. Kord is a friend! Also, there are woods here! And prairies! And other places that a Minotaur would rather like to spend sme time napping in a tranquil little lance of sunlight. Not now, though.

Now he has to fulfill his purpose.

A second monster, unfamiliar to the people of this otherwise sleepy little town surges /towards/ the erupting volcano. Asterios barrels towards the incredible heat, his feet digging into the smoldering earth. Callouses hundreds of years old protect his soles as he presses in, as the muscles in his legs explode with power, as the Minotaur leaps...!

He winces with pain as he surges upward, leaping from rock to rock, charging up whatever stretch of open ground he can find. He needs to get closer. Closer still. Even as the magma closes in, even as the heat becomes unbearable-- he is more than a mortal man. He can endure.

Until finally, he can go no further.

The Minotaur stands his ground at a fork in the magma. His mane bristles and stiffens as he throws his arms out and bellows a tremendous, thundering roar. Power surges across the conduit between Minotaur and Master. His eyes suddenly flash as if they had briefly turned to spheres of lightning.

"Deploy. Noble. Phantasm! Asterios yells as memories of home scream through his mind. He takes hold of them, seizes them tight. Violet lines streak and cris-cross over as much of the volcano as he can reach. Nearly a full city's block, stretched over the caldera, burns with brilliant, unnatural light. Asterios squeezes his hands into fists, as if seizing hold of those corridors of light...!

                        --==CHAOS - LABYRINTHOS==--

Suddenly, each of those violet lines draw mass upwards. Earth and stone and magma mix together into a maze of walls, forcing still-flowing magma to take a tortuous path down the slope, and consuming exposed, molten stone to fuel its own creation. Asterios himself rises on a platform of materialized rock, brandishing a great axe in either hand. "YOU! WHO ROARS! Fight me! Not these people! I! AM! STRONG!"
Crys Gattz Crys was old by her kind's standards but she was far from out of it, she was quick to respond to it she's not sure what they can do about the Volcano but then she hears the roar. She has an idea akready but she does not have an idea, could to work? She's clad in clothing that would be strange and not decent in Speedwagon's era but then again she doesn't look human so who the hell knows about Crys.

Her one good eye, she has some techs she knows that might help.

She starts to focus as she fgear near the manga and tries to fire off an ice tech.

"BARTA!"

She may not have enough output to do anything but maybe it might get a few extra seconds, maybe.
Ice King     An old-looking hot dog on a stick is being held over a fire, as a voice speaks. "You see the TRICK is to char the rotten parts off. Now you'd think that wouldn't work, but you'd be WRONG." A blue-robed figure with a big bushy white beard is presently cooking. A gleaming golden crown with three red jewels adorns his head.

    "Uhh..." a timid voice says.

"Hey, you know what the best part of a weenie roast is?" the sharp-toothed, blue-skinned man aks as he turns to look at the person next to him.

'Person' may be a bit of a strong term, given it appears to be a bunch of berries with a heart-shaped face protruding from it. Four stem-like limbs, and a small crown atop the other stem coming out of its (her?) head indicate that while this may appear to be an ordinary giant berry person, this is no ordinary giant berry person! "I... Uhh..." Wildberry Princess looks off to the side at something, her arm-stems tied together in front of her.

"Why it's CAMPFIRE SONGS of course!" the Ice King answers for his captive. "Yeeeup. Nothing like campfire songs!" He turns his gaze on the princess. "Here, I'll start one. You can just join in when you're ready." Then he goes back to the fire. "o/` Here I am, burning the night away... And also all the gross away... Campin' out with with my PRINcess! An amazing and kind, brilliant and beautiful... And totally ripped Ice King... And also his PRINncess~! o/`"

Wildberry Princess manages to squeak out, "Umm... Ice King? Shouldn't you do something about the... Uhh... Fire?"

Ice King looks back at the princess. "Huh? What fire?" Then he looks around, his awareness of the world 'panning out' to reveal the buildings aflame, people running in terror and being airlifted out, and a volcano erupting off in the distance as screams of panic fill the smokey air. He is roasting his hotdog while standing on the roof of a burning house. "...Oh, right."

    He pauses for several seconds.

"Ehhh, I'm sure someone else will take care of it."

Wildberry Princess looks dismayed and scoots away from the fire that is spreading towards her.
Count Kord     Speedwagon and co. manage to rescue a woman and her daughter, as well as a tiny black-furred Pokemon with a red feather-like ear. The Sneasel, as it's called, clings to Speedwagon and buries its face into his chest, and the humans in this situation aren't any less panicked but follow instructions a bit better and can be carried out of the burning structure quickly.

Miari's squad of demons, at first, freak out the locals... but the towns folk can be carried away with speed, and their possessions are easily gathered to bring to a safe location if the demons are inclined to care about those.

Athela's Vaporeon does WONDERS here, as the rain slows down the lava flows significantly. The water creates clouds of steam and hisses loudly over the roars and rumbling, but it seems to be making quite a lot.

That, combined with Karian's Helfrost blasts and Crys' Barta tech, turn lava flows into strips of ice-coated rock, some of it cracking and popping and crumbling from the sudden, violent temperature changes. The lava flows are no longer a threat, for now, leaving rescue to get people out of the affected area until the disaster is over. Combined efforts make absolutely sure that anyone on the surface is brought to safety.

Asterios comes face to face with Entei... and creates a maze from which the speedy beast would not easily be able to escape. Its roars abruptly stop, and even the rumbling starts to slow. Lightning calms in the sky, and it leers at Asterios. This creature is not the beast that other worlds would be familiar with. Where it would only seem to symbolize fire and smoke and stone, its body is made of those things. Its eyes smolder like boiling, colored gems. Its back releases a plume of smog between crags of volcanic stone. This creature looks at Asterios, apparently at eye level with him, and sees a worthy opponent that has even forced it to be unable to do anything but fight. It demands combat.

So the Entei closes its eyes, and rears back. Its mouth opens and a great blue light forms, and blue flames coat its body, and then it LEAPS into the air to try to slam full-force into Asterios, coated in divine flames and trying to set the enormous Minotaur on fire. It is a powerful beast, but it is on about the same level as him in strength, possibly even weaker.
Athela Valemore Athela Valemore looks up for a moment at the sounds coming from the volcano. That roar... that was not the roar of any normal Pokemon or beast. Just something in the way in tweeks her divine-empowered awareness. Could it...

But there was no time to worry herself right now. Whatever it was, the minotaur and his maze would have to keep it occupied.

With rain and ice holding back the advancing lava flows she and her Gogoat can proceed without slowing down as much. What were previously threatening streams of molten rock were now cooling and hardening, enabling the nimble ungulate steed to leap across them like a mountain goat to carry Athela past. "Make sure that lava doesn't unfreeze," she shouts over her shoulder to the Vaporeon, but for the time being Sprite was on her own to catch up.

People were already handling rescues in the town itself, so Athela spurred her mound towards the mines. The hardier Ground and Rock pokemon were already fleeing, but what about the humans?
Robert Speedwagon     There is so very much weird here. So very much. More than once, Speedwagon has to tell his encourage, "Oi! Eyes on the prize!" to get their attention back on the task at hand. They'll be bringing people over to Kord for airlifting, most likely. Or pointing them to the nearest warpgate, one of the two. Though he may end up being stuck with the Sneasel for a bit!

"GAH! WHAT THE-- ?!" He stops, though. This thing's probably just scared. He can likely pick up on that much at least; he may not realize it yet, but Pokemon tend to be just as much 'people' as people are. Though whether they are that way HERE is anyone's guess, and Speedwagon has no way of knowing that anyway.

Besides, Speedwagon probably smells pretty nice anyway, since cologne is a thing where he's from.

Speedwagon makes his way out of the area as well as he can with the Sneasel attached to him. At least it's not having to be dragged! Though he'll try to hand the critter off to the family once they all get clear. "Ah, I think your, uh... pet is a mite scared," he observes, trying to dislodge the creature from his person -- gently, so as not to hurt it -- and hand it off to the family. Hopefully it won't continue to cling.
Karian Icefang     Karian quickly motions for his men to continue to move forward with the Helfrost, while the wolf lord himself moves towards Entei. He was quiet for the moment, narrowing his good eye. "What kind of monster calls forth the flames like this..." He says.
Crys Gattz Barta works better than she hopes, the lava on't be stopped ofrever but for now she's going to turn to help to get people clear. the Newman moves and she pause for a moment mutters something about Miari before she contiunes on her way to do what she can to help out here and make sure everyone is clear or the workers can get to it the monster? God she does not care for it, and it has to be handled. Still there's some seriously powerful people there. She can join the fight later there's still work to do, people to help.
Miari Difficulty with the locals is exactly why Miari saw fit to dispatch each team with one of her Splintered Gale clones, each able to make decisions as she would - more or less - if being only mere mortals. Several of them sigh exasperatedly at the jumpy reception though! Her Demons really don't care. They're a little bit rough, but have been given expert instructions on how to deal with the situation. They have no policy about STUFF laying around though, except 'do not break things unless you must.' If people evacuate with stuff, then they evacuate with stuff!

The main-Miari meanwhile gets a spectacular view of the Legendary Pokemon as it makes a path for Asterios... and the freakish magic that he weaves to trap it. Her lips curl up into a bit of an eager grin, despite herself. Curiosity compels her to close in and see just what these two can DO!

But it also draws her attention to another figure nearby. Her gaze shift-swerves down to a blaze-covered zone... and the odd-ball pair having a cookout there. "What." ... the fact that one of them glows brilliantly with a frosty tinge in her sorceress' sight... "WHAT."

Consequently, Miari swoops around and descends swiftly through the smoke and the haze and drops smoothly to the ground about twenty feet from the Ice King and his date. "Are you the local God of Winter, grandfatherly one?" She asks in a liltingly kind voice of the blue-skinned man. "The locals need aid."
Ice King     Ice King looks down, distracted by the sight of Speedwagon. "Whoah, hey, what's with all these freaky looking people. Actually..." He scans around town, noticing the absence of goblins, magic-mutated beings, candy golems, and large number of humans. He furrows his brow for a moment. "Actually how did get here anyway?" But then he notices the pokemon. "Oh. Ohhh, hahahaha. Oooookay. You got me, Ooo! We're still in the neighborhood after all." By his standards, pokemon look downright normal. "...That black and white one with the claws and ears and such is kind of cute. Reminds me of Gunther."

As he stands there commentating on the populace and geographical features, the fire spreads to the hem of his robe. He finally becomes aware that he's on fire. "WOOOWWWSERS!" he yells as he flies up into the air, Wildberry Princess under his arm. "Go out, fire! Go out! I command it! Pyew! Pyew!" He spits on the flames and streams of ice come out to douse it. As he flaps his beard, flying in the air, he scans around, really seeming to grasp that something is going on.

"These flames... This crisis! This URGENT atmosphere!" He claps a hand to his cheek. Then his eyebrows turn down as he bares his teeth. "...These flames are trying to gank our camp site!" He flaps back down and drops off Wildberry Princess alongside the others. "Stay right here, sweety, I'll be right back after I put this fire in its its place." He brow-furrows again. "The FIRE place!"

Then he's back up in the air, arms above his head, gesturing with noodly arms as a wintry tempest forms from nothing over head, a spiralling vortex of ice and snow. "Northerrrn wiinnds! Soouuuuthern wiiiinds! North-west winds, and north-east winds also! I command you! Blooooooow! Goooo, Ice Winds! I choose yoooooouuu!" Winds blast and batter the burning houses as snow is dumped upon them, the fields begin to accumulate ice at a supernatural rate, and it seems more is on the way!

When Miari shows up neabry below and starts calling up to him, Ice King calls out without looking, "Not now, Gunther, daddy's busy! Run along now and play in the snow!" He flicks his fingers to send a rain of snow down on her.
Ice King     Wildberry Princess looks up at Miari as she stands there next to her. Then to Ice King, then around. Then back to Miari. She holds up her stems as ice accumulates on them both. "Um... Could you please... Untie me?
Asterios One god-beast stares at another. Asterios meets Entei's leer with a fixed, ready stare of his own. This is how he limits the damage this monster can cause. This is how he gets a straight fight without the beast turning tail and running to cause another disaster somewhere else. The Minotaur's eyes shine with bestial, primal intelligence; the instincts of a practiced predator burn brightly in his stare.

The minotaur releases a breath as the God Beast swaddles its body in a halo of sapphire flame. Asterios braces for the charge.

The Minotaur throws open his arms to receive it. He roars as flame scorches his body, heat blistering his flesh. Muscles scream as they press /back/ against the creature's incredible strength. Asterios is at a disadvantage; he can sense it. The creature is strong, fast, its body is stone and fire. His is flesh and bone. But...!

With another, thundering cry, the Minotaur fights through the pain even as the divine flame cooks him alive and /squeezes/ his arms around Entei's neck, locking his axes over the creature's back. The Divine Beast is strong-- but Asterios is the Minotaur. Even Heracles would be hard-pressed match him in a contest of pure power. Asterios twists, pivoting at his heel and his hip and /hurls/ the great Volcano God bodily into a nearby basalt wall.

The burns send lances of pain through his body with every movement, but a little bit of suffering is normal. He can deal with it. Arms and legs uncoil as Asterios follows up, chasing his throw with a flurry of crushing blows with two colossal axe blades. Stone shatters and crumbles with the force of the blow as what looks like some kind of spike trap collapses and falls away uselessly.

But what else might lie in wait elsewhere in the maze?

Nobody will find out if the Minotaur keeps this up. Matching strength with strength only seems appropriate in a battle like this one.
Miari All that effort that went into politeness... only to be flippantly disregarded and then... have snow dumped on her. Miari squawks with indignation and disbelief combined as she fnds herself suddenly up to her waist in a snowdrift. A fact that has her emotions stewing. She's quick to pinch the bridge of her nose, brow deeply furrowed and forehead twitching prodigiously with consternation.

"With great power comes great insanity, I see." She mutters under her breath... and is brought out of the momentary funk by the nearby... Miari blinks a few times with GREAT uncertainty at the Wildberry Princess... but quickly gestures her way. An invisible cutting force slices right into - and probably through - her bindings.

And the very next moment, the snow burying her is flung every which way - except the Wildberry Princess. All without her needing to move a muscle!

"This isn't the time for questions. The effort needs me. Hopefully this crazy old grandpa won't make things worse."
Count Kord     Entei growls in frustration at the sheer durability behind Asterios...! It also slams so hard into one of the walls that a loud YIPE is heard from it, because it is some kind of enormous dog beast. It gathers itself to a stand, shuddering visibly from the pain of the impact, but turns on Asterios again and decides not to get close enough to get thrown like a rag doll again. It blows a huge gout of flames at Asterios, filling up their confined area with roaring fire and heating the stone so much it turns red...!! Or it would, if snow and rain and sleet weren't hammering it from the sky, and dousing its fires before they could get any stronger than a basic flamethrower.

The mine workers already outside of the mine notice Athela approach and stop, and one of them approaches her, beseeching her, "PLEASE! HE HASN'T COME OUT YET!!" The woman is in soot-coated mining equipment, and the way she falls to her knees and clasps her hands is, frankly, desperate.

The Sneasel eagerly returns to the arms of the girl that Speedwagon's crew had saved, purring up a thunderstorm and nuzzling her face as if it was the best thing it could have seen today. The woman is crying with happiness that she's been saved, and that her child is safe... children are even more important in a land this harsh, and Speedwagon might understand that much when he sees how hysterical with post-trauma happiness she is.

More ice!!! Oh god it is getting slick with snow in this place now, but the snow seems to make the ash clear up faster, collecting it as the ambient moisture condenses, slowly turning the clouds from black to more friendly grey. All of the surface fires are completely extinguished thanks to the combined effort everyone puts forth.

If there is anyone left to rescue, they can't be found. The loss of life here is almost nothing as the responders have brought everyone to relative safety (shivering because of Ice King going massively overboard.)
Count Kord     Kord has sat himself under an abandoned stable, soaked to the bone and dripping with freezing cold water, icicles hanging off of him. His eyes are wide and he has specifically preserved a fire to stand next to.

    "Damn wizards," he mutters.
Karian Icefang     Karian looks over towards Minotaur and Entei. Seeing as he had things fairly in the bag, so to speak, he went back to looking through the buildings for anyone left. "I miss you, Ygdril...This was your specialty." He says, breifly remembering his thunderwolf. But then he spots a fire going near an abandoned stable, and a scent of a possible human. Making his way over, the old Wolf calls to Kord. "Are you trapped, or simply trying to get out from the snow? Seems freezing has become as much a threat as burning."
Robert Speedwagon     Speedwagon and his troupe appear as normal humans to Miari's Essence sight. Just three normal mortals, nothing to see here! They may look freaky as all hell to someone who's not used to seeing norml human beings. After all 'weird', much like 'beautiful', tends to be in the eyes of the beholder.

And then suddenly there's ice and snow blowing around. Speedwagon turns his back to the wind, reaching up to hold his bowler on. "What the hell?!" Turning around, he sees the source of it and frowns. "Seems we've jumped outta the pan an' inta the deep freeze!" he comments.

Speedwagon and his troupe stick near the rescued people, and start asking around if anyone else is missing. Also, it's true, he can definitely see that relieved hysteria -- and he understands it too; Windknight's Lot isn't much better after Dio's attack. So he removes his coat (after ensuring everything's out of the pockets and in his own pockets). "'Ere. Don't wantcha ter catch your death 'a cold," he offers. He drapes the garment over the daughter of the family with the Sneasel. Between critter and muscular guy's coat -- and that if the rescuees are smart they're huddling together -- she'll probably stay warm.
Athela Valemore Athela Valemore dismounts her Gogoat only to get beseeched upon by the woman. Has to try really hard to not roll her eyes when she actually gets down on her hands and knees, instead quickly grabbing the woman lightly by one arm and helping her back up. "There is no need to beg, ma'am. However, you mustn't linger here waiting. The lava will only stay frozen for so long." Or maybe it will, with how much ice the wizard is flinging around, but it's better to not tempt fate. She turns to her steed. "Bushen, help get the rest of them to someplace safe." The Gogoat bleats in response and Athela turns back to the miners. "Her back is strong, she can carry anyone that's not well enough to walk their own."

She turns to the mine proper, just in time to see Sprite sprinting up finally. "Vaaaap." "You did well, but we have no time to celebrate yet. Come." Her cloak flares a bit behind her as she turns and heads into the actual mine. The Vaporeon takes a moment to catch her breath from running to catch up, and then bounds off after her knightly trainer.
Asterios Asterios roars in pain as the gout of superheated flame smashes into him. He feels his flesh burn and char as the heat builds, turning his maze of rocks into a veritable kiln. A divine furnace, where he is rapidly transforming into yet another coal to fuel the flames.

Or, that's probably what would have happened, if ~beneficial weather effects~ didn't come into play.

Asterios weathers the flamethrower like a champion, smashing down a nearby rock wall to form a bulwark which absorbs the direct impact of Entei's flames. The remainder, the minotaur absorbs. But Entei is a beast of fire- the inferno that rages in its belly is undeniably vast. He has no clue how long the Divine Beast can keep up the attack, but regardless of his own stamina and regenerative capabilities, taking the risk is foolhardy.

Instinct demands more action than simply hiding behind a bunker.

The giant bellows a tremendous yell as it /explodes/ through the makeshift rubble wall. His fist has seized around a huge chunk of solid, black stone as he breaks through. The Minotaur winds up, lands on the ball of one foot, and /kicks/ forward to...

...Shove that giant rock right into Entei's open mouth and down into its throat.

And then, provided he can manage it in time, Asterios follows up with an uppercut.

Nothing is quite as brutal as a literal jaw-breaker.
Miari It turns out that the purple, rubbery-skinned women in Miari's demon task forces can BREATHE FIRE. They start doing this to light torches and start campfires. And they're quick to do so, because the Miari-clones have begun to shiver in a way that the original just doesn't and snap out the orders.

Miari, meanwhile, about-faces, rises off the ground and rockets over towards the summoned Labyrinth!
Crys Gattz Entei is a foul thing in Crys's mind she has dones what she can to help get people clear and Well? A certain greek bull man is /not/ fooling around in delaing with it nor is anyone else. The battle though has to be joined though. Then agian maybe it would be better to leave her ally to his glory and do what she can for others and that's what she'll do seeing the demons light fire to help thepeople she'll fall in using her own abilties to help aquire fuel fo these new fires should they be needed.
Ice King     The princess lets out a cute 'Thank youuuu!' as she gets up, freed from her bindings, and runs off. Hopefully she runs into a friendly talking dog or something. Ice King, oblivious, seems to be satisfied with his handiwork. "'Nice job, Ice King!'" he says to himself, hands on his hips. Then he turns away and flops one hand in an 'oh, pish-tosh' gesture. "Oh, it was nothing. But don't you mean ICE job?" he says as he winks. Then he turns back again, "'Hahahaha! Oh, Ice King, you're so funny!'"

Then he puts his hands back on hips and looks down at all the snow and then off at the volcano, and something kind of wacky nonsense happening there. Is that a labyrinth? He squints. "Huh? Wha? ...Man, I didn't sign up to fight no fire dogs. I've got enough of those hanging out near the Ice Kingdom! Eesh! I'll just go collect Wildberry Princess and head back home." Then he flaps back down towards the ground. "Hey, where'd she go?"

He looks around, realizes she's gone, and grows angry, shooting off blasts of iced lightning from his hands towards the skies. "Not agaaiiiiin! And after all the trouble I went through to kidnap her!" He clenches his fists. "I'll bet it was that Finn and Jake again! They're always getting up in my grill and stealing my girl! I'll show them!" Then he's flapping his beard-wings and heading out of the area to exact a vague, non-specific revenge for imagined slights.

At least he kind of helped?
