Nagato     It's night time, miles off the shores of Australia, the sky over a portion of the huge country is obscured by dark clouds... a storm. Flashes of light could be seen from it as lightning picks up into it, setting an ominous tone over the battle zone. It's here Nagato takes point. It's a small fleet she's brought with her, six ships... Two battleships, a destroyer, the PT Boat, the light carrier and the anti air cruiser, it was a trusty fleet, if a bit interesting on the loadout.

"Dawn approaches." comes Nagato's voice, the stoic-faced Admiral faces inland, guns raised and a familiar sword in her hand. "We make our strike then. We've got clearance from the country's leader that shore bombardments are ok, it looks like that there's no civilization aside from the base within fifty miles." she looks back towards Yamashiro, "You and I shall handle surface bombardment." then a look towards the non carriers. "You are to handle any threats that get in the way." and finally, a look at the carrier. "Keep the air coverage thick and bomb any ships bigger than a destroyer."

Nagato's turbines start to move, sending her forward as the sun starts to break over the horizon. "Let's move closer."

    Meanwhile, at the base..

"Preperations ready?" comes a female voice, "Ready and willing, ma'am. Conversion project at a hundred percent completion. He's ready." the woman gives a nod, "Alright, launch him. Looks like we'll get to test /him/ out soon."
Shigure     Yamashiro and Shigure are both here, making up one of the Battleships and the Destroyer respectively. They're waiting for the call to go. They've both made a minor addition to their outfits, a thin white ribbon tied in their hair, the long ends fluttering in the breeze. "Understood, Flagship. I am with you." replies Yamashiro, clenching her fist and giving a sharp little nod. Shigure nods quietly, her eyes glowing faintly in the darkness. "I'm picking up activity at the base on long range radar... unable to get a fix on what's happening." she reports, before taking a vanguard position in front of the Battleships.
Leyanne Leeroy bounces across the water with the flotilla, the mice onboard taking their stations as Nagato gives the call to battle stations. Leyanne stays at the helm as the guns are manned. Once she's got the signal from her crew, Leyanne grins and picks up the microphone to the radio.

"FMS Leeroy Jenkins, we are at action stations."
Yuna Kagurazaka It's because of Kashi that they're here. Kashi ... and all the others like her.

Kagurazaka still has trouble thinking about that interrogation session without some cracks in her composure; just thinking about how much the victims of the 'bootleg' project are suffering makes her want to scream. It may not be a supernatural threat out of a parallel dimension, or an ancient warship with a malfunctioning directive protocol - but the Savior of Light is still, at least according to Yuna, supposed to protect the innocent so that they don't suffer. The fact that somebody went to these lengths to reverse-engineer the gear used by the Fleet's allies - like Kagurazaka herself wears, and is wearing now - and doesn't care who suffers in the course of his clawing for power ...

Kagurazaka's eyes squeeze shut briefly as she drags her focus back to the here and the now. When her eyelids part again, a renewed fire burns in her green eyes: a deep anger, tempered by a mixture of compassion and resolve. She may not be in her Light Suit at the moment, but she's still very much here because of her duties as the Savior of Light, even moreso than her devotion to her friends in the Hikari Fleet.

And to that end - just in case being a light cruiser isn't enough for this mission - the Matrix of Light is shadowing the attack fleet. Elner is running long range scans to supplement the fleet girls' radar, and Jiina, Marina, and Erina are holding position outside the potential radar range of the bootleg base. It'll take critical moments for any of them to close in and assist Yuna if push comes to shove ... but she's glad to know that the option is there - and as well, that Elner is agreeing to help her with this. Not that the little robo-faerie would usually deny its support to Yuna, but there've been times when Fleet matters are further separated from Savior of Light matters than they are right now.

Kagurazaka gets one more readiness report from her equipment fairies, taking a deep breath, then letting it out slowly. She has to raise her arm briefly to shield her eyes against the first glint of sunlight - but she smiles anyway, remembering the Hikari Fleet's traditional benediction before battle:

"Let us find victory on the dawn's horizon ... !"
Kotone Yamakawa She would pull what connections she had about helping the sub girl. She's also pretty sure several prosthetic companies would be tripping over themselves for a chance at good PR by helping her and others they might be able to save, but that though quickly passes out of her mind. She's kitted out got her rigging on and is ready to go hopefully they can bring this to an end.

She's packed a few extra thing along today for less lethal take downs though given the nature many of those they are fighting have been forced into this state of existence.

She hears Shigure call out possible contacts and will launch scout planes to do what she can to help.

<<I'm ready here scout planes are already up and searching.>>

She'll fall into formation and head out with her friends in the fleet. Ask her six years ago about where she'd be now? She'd have called you crazy, one for being a cyborg and two for stuff right out of the media she enjoyed yet now this was real, funny how life could turn out sometimes. It was hopefully time to end a nightmare.

"Let's end this nightmare."
Gaonoir It was the darkest just before dawn, and Gaonoir was right at home there, using his own shadow manipulation abilities to keep himself and Erika from being easily spotted in the night. But it's fairly normal for him to not be there one moment, and then the next you have jet-propelled dog-morph at a hover with the girl in his arms close to the Admiral's position.

Erika's even wearing the uniform Nagato gave her for christmas, looking even more snappy as she mimics a salute with one hand. "Air supriority, reporting at the ready, ma'am."

Gaonoir rolls his eyes behind his visor, but lets her have her moment.
Nagato     With pings on her radar for everyone here, Nagato gives a nod. "Kagurazaka said it. Let us find victory on the dawn's horizon!" she raises the gunblade high, hearing Shigure's message about contacts. "Flares up!" with clicks upon the trigger, multiple flares shoot up high into the sky to brighten the sky even more, to assist the sun in breaking in dawn....

And to warn the enemy that /they/ were here.

The flares get the attention of the enemy fleet... multiple light ships inbound, filling up the radar on everyone. "These tortured souls are no longer human. Sink them and release their spirits. Watatsumi will understand." she comments, "I do not think we shall win over any allies with this Bootleg Fleet unlike Kashi."

The sound of gunfire erupts in the distance, the Bootleg Fleet made the first shot and, as such, has enacted the call for war. "All ships. Weapons free! Battleships, aim for the shore." with a sweep of her sword hand, ten shots ring out, heading to bombard the shore with artillery fire and high explosive shells to concentrate the damage. "All ships, line ahead formation!"
Gaonoir     The duo take a moment to shift, so Erika is sitting piggyback on his shoulders as his jetpack engines extend out in full engagement. Digivice clenched tightly in one hand, the other gripping the back of Gaonoir's scarf like holding onto a horse's reigns. "I promise, this time I won't make pew-pew-pew-pew sounds for you."

"You're the spotter. So spot." Gaonoir grins as there's a good number of pings already appearing on his own tactical sensors and lighting up the visor's HUD like a holiday display. He clenches his metallic fists together, and even with human 'passanger' he moves almost too quick to see, appearing near one of the Bootleg ships seemingly out of the shadows of twilight themselves. "Do yourself a favor and -stay- down," he retorts, before aiming one of his powerful bionic gauntlet punches at the ship's hull near the waterline. Make a big enough hole to flood the ship and the ocean will reclaim the rest on its own, right?
Leyanne Leeroy slows and adopts his spot at the very back of the line. This kind of formation work isn't where he shines, so the martians have pulled him to the back so they've got enough of a run-up to get the speed they need to survive before they get into any melee that might develop at the head of the line.

That's not to say that they're being idle, however. The mouse manning the paired oerlikon guns on the boat's nose picks up a rangefinder, taking range. Numbers are passed to the back of the boat before the big bofors gun wakes up, tracking across the beach Nagato's shelling as it fires. Admittedly the rounds won't have the punch of Nagato's big guns, but the 40mm Bofors has been brought up to modern spec, which means they've got the fancy programmable rounds. Rounds which are now detonating in the air above the beach, sending out a hail of tungsten pellets. They won't punch through much in the way of armour, but the great showers of sand and water they kick up and the noise they make bouncing off even the smallest piece of metal should add to the intimidation factor.
Shigure     Yamashiro closes her eyes, taking a breath as the distant gunfire rings out, and orders come from the Flagship. "A night battle, huh? I have a bad feeling about this." she murmurs to herself, before eyes flash open, red irises glowing a baleful ember in the darkness. "Main battery and secondary guns, take aim. FIRE!" The massive cannons on her rigging ratchet out on gimbol arms, elevate, then with eight reports, lob shells towards the shore facilities. "Reload Type 3 Fragment Airburst!" she orders to her gunner fairies, the clanking of reload echoing out from her turrets.

Shigure swerves through incoming fire, pushing ahead of the fleet to close distance. "I am beginning my attack run now." she relates, keeping low, pouring on speed until she's in range. "Fish in the water, check, my vector, bearing 2 8 3, five degree spread." The tube launchers on her thighs angle down, and release their deadly payloads into the water, the water missiles streaking off in a relatively tight fan towards the incoming Bootleg 'ships'.
Yuna Kagurazaka Watatsumi will understand, Nagato says. Kagurazaka ... not so much.

Fortunately, anti-aircraft is her usual job, and she quickly diverts her attention to the sky - but while her eyes remain focused on the watch for hostile aircraft, her ears aren't going to suddenly filter out noises whose meaning she's already anticipating. Maybe the Admiral is right; maybe there's no way to help the Bootleg Fleet's victims. But ...

Yuna made that decision once, in the teeth of a crisis when she literally had no time to try to save the lives of innocents who were being tormented for the sake of somebody else's might. It took a LOT to push the nightmares far enough away that she could sleep through the night. And she still remembers it all too vividly.

Line ahead formation. Kagurazaka moves to take point, making sure as she maneuvers that she won't interpose herself in her allies' lines of fire along the way. She can't *not* hear the sounds of battle around her: the thunder of cannons, the rattle of smaller guns, the splashing hiss of torpedoes in transit. Yet it all somehow seems very, very quiet compared to the one noise she dreads hearing above all others.

Maybe the Admiral is right. Maybe there *is* no choice, no way to save them.

Kagurazaka's torpedo tubes remain locked on standby, her turrets and guns mute until she spots planes that need to be shot down.

And far behind her, Elner and Marina suddenly pour on the speed, skimming just above the water's surface. Erina and Jiina follow suit, but more sedately.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa keeps tab on her radar and she moves out she'll keep track of where her allies are and the flare seem to work. She steels herself for what they have to do she knows they can't save all the bootleg fleet. She moves out as the gunfire comes in, she keeps in formation. She starts to get fighters up in the air to give cover to the advancing ships. She'll be also relaying reports from her scout planes back to the rest of the fleet.

She also voices something very like Gaonoirs.

"Stay down damn it! We want to help you!"

It's not much but well? It's something also it being at night is going to make things tricky, but what can she do? She has to sink ... or swim and she intends to swim.
Nagato     The shower of shells from the twin battleships and the bofors guns from the PT Boat rock the shore facilities, shells explode and wreck cars, light buildings... and there's an explosion that fills the sky. A tanker must have been hit. Nagato's reloading new shells and the incoming fire from the enemy light ships rain down upon the group with Nagato tanking most of them as Flagship. "Nnngh!" there's marks upon marks of wounds upon the Admiralship, some leaking oil but not badly. She's not listing at least, so that's a good thing!

What's next is the dreaded sound of aircraft taking to the sky on approach. Yuna's air radar lights up like a christmas tree at the sound of multiple contacts... thirty... fourty... fifty aircraft taking off and heading towards the six ship and anti aircraft fleet. "Yuna, your time to shine." the Flagship speaks with a certainty to her tone. While Gaonoir's punches towards the water make a nice hole in there... only to close back up and swallow a good number of the smaller ships... who don't resurface. Surface radars still show a lot of smaller contacts.

Shigure's torpedoes find purchase when launched, light cruisers taking the brunt of the torpedoes, sinking slowly as a wave of torpedoes are now running towards the fleet! There looks to be little maneuvering room!
Shigure     Shigure peels off after releasing her torpedo assault, taking only a brief moment to mourn the people she just killed. "May you find peace in the depths..." but then her sonar starts picking up the unmistakable sound of torpedoes running. "Alert, incoming torpedoes. Multiple contacts and high concentration!" she backs back into the fray, unfolding her cannons from their rest position at her back, and starts firing into the water, using depth charges lobbed from tiny catapults on the turret caps, and her AA guns which fold out of the armour plates to try and clear a section out so they don't hit the larger, less maneuverable Battleships and carrier. The Destroyer jinks and jukes between the swarm of torpedoes, until one strikes her, engulfing the destroyer in a plume of water.

Yamashiro's face is a grim mask. "Torpedoes huh? So be it." She pulls ahead of Nagato, turning her turrets to deflect incoming fire. "Admiral, your cannons are far superior to mine. I will be your shield." she says, bracing to absorb the inevitable few torpedoes that break through the screen, though the Battleship does open fire with the freshly loaded Sanshiki on the shore facilities.
Gaonoir Who says you can't take out several marks with one punch? You just got to know what to punch, and sometimes it's not the actual target to do so... That or it's just more Digimon weirdness. Either way, the trick works, and takes a chunk of the knockoff fleet under the waves were they belong.

However it does also tend to draw attention from the remainder fro the enemies, and Gaonoir has to quickly switch to the defensive to protect himself and his Tamer, holding his gauntlets up like a shield as gunfire sparks off the metallic limbs. "Got any more ideas?" he grunts over his shoulder.

"Actually." Erika leans over a little to whisper in the jetdog's ear, which perk up from their usual half-fold at whatever she says.

"Oh, that's good." With a grunt he pulls apart his arms, letting the bits of fire rattle into his bionic suit instead. Nicks and hair-line fractures start to become visible, but Dark Digitron is already seeping out to fill the wounds. Likewise miasmas of shadow energy started to congeal around his outstretched limbs. Until he brings them forward sharply to slam them together, sending a shockwave of darkness rippling off and across the waves.
Leyanne Leeroy breaks his formation and surges forward, all of his smaller guns waking up to bring down some of the aircraft before they get close to Gaonir. At the same time, the boat cuts across Shigure's nose, hoping to draw off any acoustically-homing or wake-seeking torpedoes and use his speed to take care of them. The Bofors gun is retargeted, the team of three mice running the sights working hard to bring their gun down to sea-level and keep it stable enough to fire at the cruisers.

"Make 'em clean!" Leyanne cautions. "Let's not make these poor bastards suffer more than we have to. And if we come across anyone injured and floating, fish 'em out and secure them."
Yuna Kagurazaka And there are the enemy aircraft. Kagurazaka's turrets finally come to life, swiveling and elevating as she aims the rifle she carries; anti-air shells have already been loaded, and her machine guns are primed; all she needs is range on the targets ...

Well. She also needs to not get sunk by enemy torpedoes. She splits her attention for a moment, then tosses a couple of depth charges out to try and blow away incoming torpedoes before they're close enough to threaten her. THEN she opens fire on the enemy aircraft: staggered fire, cycling through each turret so that by the time the last one fires, the first one's reloaded and ready to launch another shell. And so it goes, trying to tear holes in the approaching Bootleg wing and expose the survivors to more focused fire - such as from her smaller anti-aircraft guns.

There's still likely to be plenty for Kotone's own planes to do, though, just because of how many aircraft are coming in a single wave. Still, Kagurazaka will shoot down as many of them as she can.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has her orders from the admiral and she's going to carry the,m out as Yuna handles the anti air for the moment? She'll start deploying bombers. She draws arrow after arrow letting it fly taking some level of pleasure in she learned this rather than trying to use a skill soft to do so. It fades quickly in the heat of the fight as her torpedo bombers and dive bombers take to the skies once more focusing on the enemy carriers.

The bombers come screaming down form on high but then Shigure acts to be a living shield for Nagato and she feels pressed to get more planes up in the air. They will make for the carriers intending to put them out of the fight as fast as possible. She's clearly trying to disable than out right kill the carriers mind you.

<<They really are not holding back but ... I feel like something is missing.>>

Her fighters do back up Yuna where they can but they are focused on trying to clear the way for the bombers to go after the carrier and protecting them.
Nagato     The torpedo that strikes Shigure has Nagato reaching out, only to be interrupted with Yamashiro's sudden turn. "Shigure!" she turns towards Yamashiro, shaking her head, "You're not expendable if that's what you're trying to get at, Yamashiro!" The aircraft start pouring in both from allied and enemy side... and the sky erupts with the clash of the metal birds. Planes diving into the ocean from being shot down from both sides, and Yuna's own focused anti-aircraft support making the allied losses less with just one carrier versus who knows how many on the enemy side.

Kotone's own fighters score a good amount of kills as the bombers get their escort.while Leyanne's own guns work on tthe cruisers, accurate shots felling a few of them as well. It seems that most of them are filtering out and sinking under the combined fire. "Something doesn't feel right." comes Nagato's voice as large shells come flying towards the Flagship, only to strike at Yamashiro, who's in front.

The splash of water causes Nagato to turn around and go wide eyed. "What in the name..." she grumbles, moving closer to Yamashiro to survey the damage, firing guns around her to strike at the enemy fleet this time, letting type three shells rain flechette upon the enemy fleet.
Gaonoir     Even in the roaring din of combat Gaonoir's sharp hearing picks up the sounds of distress from Nagato. "Hold on," he comments to Erika before swiftly turning around and zipping closer to Nagato and Yamashiro. "What's wrong, Admiral?" He hovers defensively nearby, switching back to his tactical sensors to try and pick up where those shots came from.
Shigure     Shigure is still standing, arms crossed in front of her as the water plume falls back away. She's listing, but soon corrects as her repair team patch the damage and activate the pumps to clear the water out. "Damage report." Her eyes are glowing with blue flame, her left emitting more than the right, giving a half-visor effect for those that can see. Radio is damaged, but can still function, barely. Radar online, Sonar online, main battery, port side is offline, repair team working, starboard side online. "Load HE impact fuse." That's when her radar spikes, and the shell strikes Yamashiro. Eyes go wide, locking onto the return from her radar. She tries to radio over. "Confirming, Hostile Battleship. Repeat. Hostile Battleship!" She turns, and fires a volley of HE-IF shells at the new contact, but is attempting to break engagement to reattack once her torpdoes are reloaded.

Yamashiro is the vanguard, so she tries to angle to the incoming shell, only to have it punch straight through her No.4 turret's cap, wrecking the turret and causing some fairies to abandon by leaping from the burning wreckage into little life rafts. "That was bigger than a Cruiser shell... No.4 turret is offline." she reports, then reangles her remaining turrets to return fire. "But I won't go down that easily."
Leyanne Leyanne frowns quietly as she hears the general unease over the comms. She frowns, pulling out of the fight to get a good view on the situation. With everyone's radar lighting up the big battleship like this, Leyanne orders both exocets fire while the little PT boat begins to get into a good position for a torpedo run. Both missiles are launched the moment they have lock, the big mice manning them immediately moving to heft new missiles into position.

The Exocet missiles skim low over the water oblique to the PT boat's path, homing in on the radar signature from that big threat. Hopefully by the time the sea-skimmers are seen, Leeroy will be far enough away that he doesn't get the blame...
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa does well she clears a fair bit of the skies out and the bombers do their thing hopefully it's staring to thin the enemy out. Or is this right? They are making progress and the fleets team work is showing here in a good way. They are making progress but then comes the report of some sort of larger gun being employed wait Battleship?! Oh no their informant was correct then there is nothing else she can think but please let them only have one.

Then she looks about trying to track where the Battleship is she has to get air power on it or will need to quickly before they get taken apart.
Yuna Kagurazaka Kagurazaka is still largely focused on carving away at the hostile aircraft - fighters, bombers, if they aren't friendly then they're fair game for her steady cannonfire - to the extent that she almost misses the sudden onslaught of heavier firepower ... at least until it impacts.

And she can hear enough of what's said in the wake of those shells hitting and detonating to understand clearly what Shigure is transmitting, despite the disrupted transmission: Hostile battleship.

They aren't supposed to be able to do that. Are they? The Kagurazaka-class fitouts used by the Hikari Fleet's allies doesn't come that big or that heavy, so how - ?

She pulls her attention back to the immediate task at hand, sweeping the sky for additional aircraft and launching a couple more shells to deal with them. If that's all for the enemy's air power, though, then she can start turning her attention to what else the Bootleg Fleet might be fielding ...
Nagato     There's another ring of shells from the enemy side, splashing farther back, burying Kagurazaka and Tiny in a large spray of seawater, a fortunate missed shell... or an unfortunate wave of destruction. In the air, some fighters bank off and move to assail Gaonoir directly from his defensive position, a flurry of anti-aircraft bullets fly from the odd shaped, aerodynamic planes... with torpedoes dropped for good measure to try and sink the anti air cruiser working against their planes.

There's also a booming voice as enemy ships sink one after another... "MY... PET SUB...MARINE LED YOU... HERE." it calls out, a mix of metallics and male voice. "USELESS. ALL... USELESS." it continues to bellow, "SLAVES... TO THE GRAND PLAN..." it sails closer... and the sight is gruesome. A fit out similar to Nagato's... the body has sloughed off flesh... showing a mixture of white bone and metal, and where flesh still hangs, it's not looking healthy at all. How it's still alive..

"PROGRESS... AT THE EXPENSE OF THESE PEOPLE. PURCHASED... FOR MY NEEDS." it laughs and laughs, "NO LONGER HUMAN..." It grins a wicked grin... the body shape, however, is no denying.. It's Frank Coppell. "YOU... LIKE MY... UPGRADES?" There's a dead stare towards Yuna. "AH... AN INCOMPLETE... IN YOUR RANK, ADMIRAL? CONV...ERT HER... ALREADY... YOU WORTHLESS... SHIP!"
Yuna Kagurazaka It really *is* good luck that those shells missed Kagurazaka - but the barrage of dropped torpedoes does NOT go unnoticed, and the light cruiser finally launches torpedoes of her own, angled and timed to blow the enemy torpedoes out of the water even as Yuna does her best to gun down the craft which dropped them.

And then - an inhuman voice, coming from a form almost as inhuman as any Abyssal ... yet even moreso, for his recognizable origins as a man.

"You're the one ..." Kagurazaka breathes, her attention shifting to Frank Coppell, grip tightening on her turret-rifle. "It was you who took innocents and altered them into weapons. Their suffering is because of you ... all because of *you* ... !"

The Matrix of Light flies into view from several different directions - Elner coming to a halt a short distance behind Yuna, Marina pulling up further back, ready to assist her or the other Hikari members as needed. Jiina and Erina take up positions off to the side, beam cannon and pulse blasters held at the ready but not yet aimed. Yuna doesn't even need to look to know that they're there, and it's only partly because Elner updated her directly.

Yuna Kagurazaka draws herself upright, her balance perfect as the light-cruiser gear supports her on the water. "I need no conversion; I am whole as you see me. And yet you see only part of what I am, and none of who. You who cast away your own humanity in the name of armed strength, who tore it away from countless others to mold and twist them as you see fit ... you are the one, the *only* one, who deserves to die in this place. I am Yuna Kagurazaka, flagship of Hikari Fleet's Kagurazaka-Class Special Division - and your upgrades end, here and now!!"

She raises her rifle one more time, turrets swiveling in unison - and a full barrage of anti-ship shells thunders from her cannons, accompanied by a complete spread of torpedoes streaking through the water in pursuit of the Bootleg Fleet's twisted creator.

And the barrage carries with it every ounce of Yuna's grief for those who have suffered at his hands.
Leyanne Leeroy rocks in the spray of the shell, the cruch of splintering maple hinting at damage from the near miss. One of the M2 Browning paired mounts is rendered inoperative because the hull isn't stable under it. But the boat erupts through the spray mostly intact, swinging around to get a bearing on the big enemy battleship. Leyanne frowns at what she's seeing. "You are one ugly fragger." Leyanne mutters to herself, her left hand rapidly tapping numbers into the torpedo computer.
The little PT boat crests a wave and catches are as the first torpedo is launched, the other three rapidly following. Mice work to reload them even as Leyanne holds her attack, ignoring the rest of the fleet to concentrate on the big target. Yuna's not the only one pissed at the creator of the Bootleg Fleet; the mice are too. If rightcheous vitriol could add potence to explosives, Leeroy would be firing gold-tipped torpedoes...
Gaonoir There is only one way to describe the appearance of the form approaching, courtesy of Erika as she hunkers down behind Gaonoir's shoulders. "Now that's just sick and wrong." Though she leans a little out again when that gets no response. "... Gaonoir?"

It's hard to see behind the visor but there's a visible twitch of the eyes. He doesn't even flinch with something snarky as the air fighters pepper shots at him. Seeing these sort of results of mad science to make a monster is hitting a little too close to home. Or maybe it's the choice of demented wording. Maybe just a few shades shy of a PTSD. But not quite, as he snaps out of it, grimace twisting into a full scowl as his fists clench. "She's more complete than your mishmashed mishap of madness ass is every going to be, Rotty Boatpants!" There the snark came back. "Erika..."

"Already on it!" The digivice is already in her hand and charging up as she holds it up. "Ultimate Evolution, EXECUTE!" The digital energy and darkness surges from the device and wraps around briefly as it seeps into the Digimon's body and farther boosting it's ability as the Dark Digitron is drawn out to the surface to form itself into even more armor upon the form. Then it discarges in a shockwave of excess energy as it shatters. Leaving the larger, knight-like form hovering in its place

Eyes narrow behind the visor at the abomination floating across the water. But there's still this annoying matter of enemy aircraft swarming around. "Bugger off." He doesn't even bother looking in another direction towards the aircraft, just whips out his arm to the side as if backhanding them away. It gets a similar effect as the tendrils of darkness surge from within his cloak to do just that and slap the enemy aircraft from the sky so they can focus on the -real- threat.
Kotone Yamakawa A twisted creature of plastic, metal and flesh is how some could see it. If not for the injuries she suffered? Kotone would never got a single implant without medical need. A shock to any who knew her now with her love of upgrades, but for her it was a case of, if I got it? I might as well trick it out. However hearing Frank Coppell words something snaps in her seeing all the people who have suffered. How many lives ruined so this man could get a rush of power?!

She launches several more planes but then she starts to move forward.

"You... inhuman.... garbage... did this all ... for .... your own power?! You gave is all up and stole it from so many for this?!"

She picks up speed now even fighting against ht water as he's trying to make for the thing that was once a man.

The comment about forcefully Converting Yuna? Presuming Nagato who ever assume to do such a thing?

"You monster!"

She directs her planes, but she her self is full on charging Frank, lighting is also arcing about her limbs as her internal taser implants are brought on line.

"YOU HAVE DONE ENOUGH!"

IF she does not get gunned down on the charge she's going to thunder punch this guy with as high as the tasers will go and her own strenght not restrained but this will leave her open!
Shigure     Yamashiro's eyes level on the approaching Battleship man. Monstrous even by Abyssal standards, a grotesque mockery of both Kanmusu and Abyssal alike, something completely 'wrong'. "Looking at you is like staring into a twisted, broken mirror. You SICKEN me." she states, drawing herself up to her full height. She jettisons the wreckage of her No.4 turret, but before the scrap hits the water, she grabs the barrels, sets her legs, then LAUNCHES forward, propelling herself with a sextet of cannon shells fired behind her to add their recoil to her own speed. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" she roars, aiming to smash her own broken turret into the Bootleg Battleship.

Shigure banks hard around, her turret reporting reactivation with a whirring clank as the shell is loaded into the chamber. She swivels them to fire behind her, surging forward as Yamashiro makes her headlong charge. "Y--Yamashiro..." she's never seen the usually serene Battleship so enraged before. Eyes burning with red soulfire, looking more like her Fu-class Abyssal self than the woman she cares about and loves... but that doesn't stop her. She angles, shifts legs and kicks up a rooster tail of spray as she banks hard into a turn. "One shot... my radio finally gave out, lets just hope this works." She checks her torpedo tubes. Fully reloaded. They swivel into position, and she banks hard in again. "Tight spread, two degrees. Focus on the enemy battleship." The torpdoes slide out one by one, propelled by bursts of compressed air, before their engines kick in and they streak out towards the Bootleg Battleship. There's less than a one degree spread on these, to reduce the potential of friendly fire.
Nagato     Torpedo begets torpedo and beautiful spray of water explodes up into the air, a small rainbow forming in the rising light. "OF COURSE." it calls out, another barrage of shells coming from the entire enemy force, "ONLY THE STRONG... THEY SURVIVE. ON THE BACKS... OF THOSE WEAKER!" Frank grins that weird, twisted, inhuman grin, "HOW... DO YOU THINK... SHE... CAME INTO... POWER?!" there's another rapport of shells from the enemy Battleship, aimed directly towards Nagato as soon as Yamashiro broke off. "STUPID... BATTLESHIP. SHE USES YOU... TO GAIN MORE POWER FOR... HERSELF! SHE AND I... WE'RE THE SAME."

Yuna's entire barrage is launched and multiple enemy underlings move into place to protect the 'Capital Ship', with Frank's body getting riddled with smaller holes, there's multiple dead cruisers and destroyers littering the water space in front of him. "ALL THESE... WEAKLINGS... FODDER... STEP STOOLS FOR /MY... POWER/!"

Torpedoes are launched from the Leeroy Jenkins... finding purchase... one on the enemy battleship and the rest against some of the other enemies abound. Fire catches and burns upon the water from the oil, making the Bootleg Battleship all the more menacing. "SUCH... DESTRUCTION. FROM... AN ALTERED RAT." it yells out towards Tiny, "ALL YOU DO... LISTEN TO THAT JAPANESE BATTLESHIP..." speaking of, Yamashiro breaks through the line... "SICKEN YOU? YOU MISFORTUNATE PILE OF STEEL, YOU ARE WORTHLESS TO YOU, YOUR FLEET AND YOUR DOG." the turret finds purchase and it sloughs off more flesh.. there is really nothing 'human' left from this Battleship, showing a modified skeleton and support system.

Shigure's Torpedoes find purchase with Frank... the explosion wrecking the battleship's rigging, letting out an inhuman scream.. "DOG... YOU HAVE BITE!" there's a rush of small caliber fire towards Shigure from the few destroyers left on the ocean... as the buzzing of planes in the air grow louder and louder... only for the enemy aircraft to fall silent and splash into the ocean from Gaonoir's bitch slap. Though the digivolution catches Frank's eyes. "AH. SOMEONE WHO... CAN MODIFY THEMSELVES... UPGRADE THEMSELVES FOR MORE POWER... TO USE THE LITTLE... PILE OF FLESH ON THEIR BACK... YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK HERE..."

Nagato herself stands there... turrets already aimed. Shells from the battleship launched earlier crash right into her, wrecking two of her turrets and sending her knee deep into the water as six shells launch from Nagato's own.. "Yamashiro, move!" a cough, "I don't know... how you did this, but... no more. NO MORE! I WILL NOT LET THIS GO ON!"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace's hands tense on the wheel as she hears Frank call her the R-word. The rest of the mice on board are similarly displeased, a low rumbling of 'you gonna take that from him, skip?' passing from bow to stern along the little PT boat. All of them glare at the battleship as Leyanne brings the nose back around to face him.

"Fire everything!" she snarls. "Fire everything we've got and if that doesn't work I'm gonna shove the bow of this PT boat so far up his arse when he opens his mouth we hear a foghorn!"

And then she punches it, aiming the boat squarely at the battleship, and every loaded gun on the boat opens up, all of it aimed squarely at him.

"YOU'RE NOT GONNA HURT ANYONE ANY LONGER!" she snarls. "AND FOR FURTHER REFERENCE... WE'RE MICE."
Shigure     Shigure narrows her eyes, jinking and juking through the secondary battery fire. Some shells strike home, causing her to shift and angle, batting some shells away into the water, though a few slam into her body, detonating and spraying black oil from the wounds. "Bite, hmm?" she says in that soft, yet powerful voice of hers. "Yes... more bite than you will ever dream of having." She returns her cannons to their place on her back, the gimbol arms retrieving them... she then pulls another weapon from the small of her back, Nagato would recognize it... the Wakizashi gifted to her and Yuudachi by the Battleship. "You are going to have to try much harder than this." She slashes the air, then surges closer, slashing at the destroyers in her way. The Faithful Hound doesn't slow down to attack, no, she angles the blade, and aims to slice off the connection points for the remaining rigging, looking to 'disarm' the Bootleg Battleship, then continue past to keep firelines clear.

Yamashiro lets go of the turret after the first strike, not allowing her opponent to try to use any leverage against her. She's about to grapple, when Nagato tells her to back off. So instead, she angles her remaining turrets, and fires at point blank range, launching herself backward and letting Frank have a face full of Type 91 Armour Piercing. "My misfortune has nothing to do with you, but you will taste a measure of it before you sink. I promise you that."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone is left utterly ignored and unhindered by the thing that used to be Frank, that's fine with her there isn't really much point in arguing with him. Even s Shirgure, Nagato, Yuna, Gao and yuna let lose she's closing in she fully agrees with the Admiral worse but she yells.

"They are not worthless,, they proven to be who they are and more than just what they all were. Those made for war have chosen another ...path in life rather than be tools of conquest!"

She has him in her sights. As she goes right at Frank at full speed having built up a hell of a electrical charge with leaving her eel-ware running for so long her own planes do give her some cover but Kotone is closing into to finish up with her attack run she'll attempt to slam into him and just start punching and ripping into the thing that was once Frank.

"THIS IS OVER FRANK!"

This is a rare sight Kotone is unrestrained in her electrical and melee assaults upon it, she will be forced to break off as fire comes in but she might be a but sluggish when she does as she's so focused upon this thing.
Gaonoir Considering all the barbed words being spewed out Gaonoir's response is surprisingly restrained. "There's a difference between being used, and being partners." There's a little 'squee' from Erika as she's actually referred to as his partner, but other than that the geeky sound its lost in the moment. "Something that a manipulative bastard wouldn't understand."

Fingers clench at his sides. "But your sort is beyond comprehending such basic concepts of humanity."

"Funny how the people here that aren't even humans understand that better!" Erika chips in.

Sparks crackle along the edges as the mouth-like arpeture opens in the chest of his armor, congregating at the depts of it as the energy churns. "So it is pointless to try and argue with such maligned scum." Energy from the very depths of his digital being is charging up, drawing from the reserves of the Dark Digitron.

"LUNAR ECLIPSE CANNON!"

It's enough power that there's an audible whine from the electrified air as the massive energy beam rips out of the cannon opening and screams towards the thing that was formerly Frank. Not even worth a 'real' name at this point.
Yuna Kagurazaka The downside to cutting loose with everything she has as a light cruiser is that Kagurazaka doesn't HAVE anything more than that to dish out, no matter how much she wants to. Then again, seeing so many already-tormented innocents throwing themselves before him as a shield ... kind of takes some of the fire out of her onslaught.

By the same token, though, Coppell's keeping that fire *stoked* with not just every word he speaks, but every *action* as well. But with Kotone and Leyanne powering into close range, that puts a crimp in Kagurazaka's ability to continue blasting away at him - even if she didn't need to wait for all five cannons to reload, and a new spread of torpedoes to be primed in the launchers. That leaves her mostly watching for the moment, keeping her rifle ready in case that opening presents itself ...
Nagato     "MICE... RATS... ALL THE SAME RODENT TRYING TO MOVE UP." Frank yells back out, with the enemy flagship in danger, more and more of the converted fleet start to move in... and soon, just stop moving. "YOU ALL... HAVE NO RIGHT... TO SAY THIS IS WRONG!" He continues to yell words, vitrol at everyone around. But when Shigure speaks, eyes look at glinting steel, that precise strike from the sudden dog of a destroyer slices the rigging clean off, a spray of black ichor, nothing like blood or oil... just erupts from the back from that connection point.

Frank erupts in a loud scream, only to be met with the firepower from the PT Boat, riddling more and more holes into the former human's body, while the lack of foresight from seeing Kotone makes Frank suffer from the brutal melee that Kotone affixes to him, the electrical shocks and blunt injury make more flesh slough off and speech slur. "RAT DOG... DIRTY WOMAN..." he growls out, while Yamashiro's guns... practically blast a massive chunk out of Frank's body.

For a while, it doesn't move, leaving it open to the Lunar Eclipse Cannon... the energy beam encompassing the former human-battleship, setting it on fire... and soon, disentegrating the remains. Nagato's shells don't even get a chance to connect to their intended target as the enemy fleet starts to crumble... with the Flagship now gone... the rest of the bootleg fleet... starts to sink, the power plants giving out... and soon... lifeless bodies sink.

... "Get a hold of the Australian goverment... Throughly cleanse this area of the land and destroy /everything/ as part of our agreement."
Gaonoir     With its energy expended the arpeture closes, steam hissing out of unseen vents to cool the digital cannon back down. Leaving Umbra Gaogamon hovering solemnly over the burning, sinking remains of the human turned monstrousity, the glow of the flames in the early dawn reflecting off his dark armor. The Dark Beast Knight remains, watching as the flames turn twisted metal and rotted remains of biomass into so much ash. Ensuring some other horror doesn't survive to rise from the wreck.

Some of us have more right than you would ever understand, 'Frank'.

The solemn moment predictably broken when Erika leans over his shoulder. "Something still on your mind big guy?"

Eyes visble between the visor slits close. "Just thinking of how I almost could of been such a monster..."

To which the young woman wraps an arm around his neck, at least as best she can due to the armor around the collar, in a hug. "You may be a digital monster, Gaonoir, and still a bit of an ass at times. But you're nothing like -that- was." She leans a bit farther over his shoulder to look down at the water, nudging her glasses with a finger to keep them on. "You think he's really dead?"

"Doesn't matter." Seeing nothing else arise from the eldritch wreck Gaonoir turns to float away. "He was already long since dead on the inside."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is torn up a good bit herself even with the rigging, she's torn up and there's electrical arcs coming from several damaged power lines in her frame, other signs of torn synth skin are here and there and she just pants, more out of a habit she feels the pain but she sees as the bootlegs are staring to sink. She says "We need to see if any are alive still...."
