Blossom The past week has been pretty eventful for Blossom. She's met lots of new people from across the Multiverse and even taken part in a few battles, from saving a biodome in the desert, to saving a bunch of slaves from some sharkpeople and the wrath of an enormous whale god. Today, she just wanted to relax, but she didn't really want to stay at home in her forest, so she wandered a bit until she found a spot that she felt was suitable. When she came upon the 'Spring' region of the Maw of Tyrants, she instantly felt this was perfect. She went for a walk around the area first, getting a feel for the region and it's different types of life, before eventually settling down under the shade of a large tree and starting to meditate for a bit, letting the calm of nature wash away all her troubling thoughts.
Ryu Ryu sought out other healers for the sake of getting to know medical personnel of other worlds. Not to learn, or to study, but just to make friends and associates. He tracked down Blossom after a couple of incidences of her activities reached his ears, using his incredible speed and plain old asking around to track her down. Eventually he ended up coming to a stop. A rush of wind like a sudden gale blew past when he came to a halt before her, his fae-like wings fluttering as he halted. He promptly sat down in front of her, and let his wings go limp behind him like a tattered cape.
He smiled at her silently, waiting to see how she might react to a dragon.
Blossom While Blossom might have been sitting there with her eyes closed, there was a small bird with green and blue feathers perched atop one of her two tine antlers. He was watching the area, making sure nothing dangerous was around that might try to harm Blossom. He chirped a warning when he saw Ryu approaching, and when he landed quite nearby, let out an alarmed squawk. Blossom's eyes blinked open at that, having also felt the breeze blow past. "What is it Maxwell?" She asked quickly before her gaze fell upon the strange humanoid dragon with fairy-like wings. She blinked a bit in surprise, but he was already sitting before her, certainly an odd stance if he intended to attack.

"Um, hello there. Didn't hear you coming, but I guess my feathered friend here did." She says with a smile. Max on the other hand watches Ryu like a hawk. She had never seen a dragon before, traditional or otherwise, and was curious about Ryu, though she thought it would be rude to ask someone she just met what he was. "I'm Blossom, and I'd offer for you to join me but it looks like you already have." She says with a bit of a laugh. "What brings you out here? It's my first time." She asks with a tone of curiosity.
Ryu Ryu looked up at the bird, his gold eyes fixating on it. He stares at it the way a dog or cat would when a small animal is making skittish behavior. Like he's daring the bird to run. But when Blossom speaks to him, he snaps out of it, and smiles at her once more. He nods at her, his ears fluttering in a look of expressive interest as she introduces herself, and asks him why he's here. He answers immediately, his voice gently masculine and pretty friendly, "I'm Ryu." She might've heard him on the radio. "I'm here to talk to you. I hear you're a healer of some kind, and I've been trying to find you for a little while now."

"This area is pretty relaxing," he admits, as if just realizing where he is. His head turns to look around at the trees and flowers, and he reaches out to run his hands over some plant life. And when he spots a patch of dying grass, he waves his hand over it, white light shines, and the grass brightens up and rejuvenates completely, and a flower blooms there anew.

He then flops down on his side to stare at the flower close up, his tongue sticking out. Seems he got distracted and he's examining the fine details.
Blossom Maxwell ruffles his feathers and hops down onto Blossom's head at Ryu's predatory gaze. Blossom is oblivious to all this though and just listens as Ryu answers her question and introduces himself. "Oh, Ryu, right. I thought your voice sounded familiar, I've heard you on the radio. Anyway, you heard right, I am a healer, trained since I was a little faun by the dryads of the Silverdeep Forest..." She trails off as she watches Ryu revive a dying patch of grass, even causing a flower to bloom on the spot.

"I see you're a healer yourself. So I wonder then, why you would seek me out because of my healing ability? Hoping to compare powers or something?" She asks as she stretches a bit, reaching into her pack and pulling out a pouch. She pulls from that some dried fruit, eating a bit herself and offering some to Maxwell too, who eats out of her hand.
Ryu Ryu sits up and blinks a few times. He then smiles awkwardly and admits to her, "Oh, no... I was just looking for... friends," he admits, brushing his hand over the flower, side to side, to watch it sway. He looked up to Blossom again and coiled his tail around his seating spot. His wings shifted and fidgeted on his back and he decided to explain, "So what were you doing when I got here?" he wonders, indicating the spot where she's seated. She looked like she was sleeping, but it's hard to tell.
Blossom Blossom giggles a bit as Ryu admits to looking for friends. "If you're looking for friends, then you came to the right faun. I love making new friends, so I'd be happy to be your friend." She replies warmly with a kind smile forming on her young face. Maxwell gives a disapproving chirp, adding his two cents. Blossom mixes a sigh with a laugh as she reaches up to gently scratch the tuft of feathers under Max's beak. "Don't mind Max, he takes a while to warm up to new people. As for what I was doing, well, I think most people call it meditation. Really it's just closing your eyes and allowing yourself to enter a very calm and relaxed state. Easy to do here, as like you mentioned, this place is pretty relaxing, particularly for someone like me who has lived among nature her whole life."
Ryu The dragon beams his happiness at her, and then crawls over to sit next to Blossom. He settles down nearby and leans in to sniff at the bird, and then sniff a bit at her face, an act reminiscent of an animal gauging someone in the wild. Thankfully, this is probably something she's used to. He wiggles his ears and says, "I'll sit and meditate with you, then." And then, without further ado, Ryu closes his eyes, and just...

Relaxes. He listens to the world around him and comfortably settles like that, happy to pass even hours if she allows. This'll be an awfully easy friendship to maintain if he's okay with meditation.
Blossom While Maxwell tries to hide behind one of Blossom's antlers when Ryu sniffs at him, Blossom herself does respond much better, though she can't resist the temptation to sniff Ryu back a little. At Ryu's offer, she smiles and nods, closing her eyes and going back to meditating quietly. She wondered if Ryu might want to do something else later, but for now she was content to sit with him. After a while, she began to lean against him a bit without realizing it, not long after she had fallen asleep.
Ryu Ryu's eyes open, and he very slightly turned his head to look at the sleeping faun. He stared for a few seconds, searching... and then closed his eyes and sat there with her for as long as she needed to sleep. If she felt that relaxed around him, there was no reason for him to disturb her. And she was safe around him, because he didn't actually need to sleep and he could keep an ear out for predators.
