Leyanne Leyanne Mace had a rough night's sleep last night, and - rarely for her - a dream, a nightmare, that stuck in her consciousness. She's not been able to shake the image of Mars torn asunder and its people - Catatonian and Martian alike - slain where they stood - crushed, like vermin. She's spent the day working herself to exhaustion to try and blot the dream out, but even then she can't shake a reluctance to head to bed.
Eventually she's forced to go to sleep. To reassure herself, she leaves her sidearm on the bedside table beside her, before settling down for the night and hoping she gets better sleep.
Carna     The dream that creeps upon Leyanne this time is different from her nightmare the night before, once she drifts off. The Mars she stands upon now is desolate. Empty. Lifeless. Or at least there's no signs of people where she is now. Nor an atmosphere for that matter. This clearly isn't 'her' Mars. However, she is not alone.

There's a human astronaut, it looks like, sitting nearby. At least based off of the outfit. They're just sitting there, knees hugged to their chest, looking off towards Earth. If they're aware of Leyanne's presence, they don't show it. And there's no indication of how they got here, though their spaceship could have been somewhere else and they walked here.

Either way, the dream is less violent, if still unusual, and two dreams in a row of weird sthings might be more than a coincidence.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks around, blinking at this new Mars. No atmosphere at all, not even the thin rags of carbon dioxide that her Mars wears? That's unusual. She's either way in the future, or something cataclysmic happened to this world. After feeling the soil, and looking at herself to see what she's wearing - if she can even percieve herself - Leyanne moves towards the astronaut.

She keeps her hands - if she has any - visible to show she's not a threat as she moves towards them. looking for any signs of life...
Carna     The astronaut indicates life before Leyanne comes into their view. The voice is staticky, distorted, with no clear indication of the speaker's sex. "It happened a long time ago. It took us two centuries to crawl out of an age of ruin. But we finally were able to reach for the stars again. And we made it here. Just in time for the end of the world."

This is a dream of some kind, so if things don't make sense, that's only to be expected right? But how vivid and real this feels, even if Leyanne is walking freely in a place with no air, and no ill-effect from the cold, may or may not be particularly realistic under normal circumstances.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks at the astronaut, looking at them, warily. She nods a little. "My people watched yours through your TV for a long time." A pause. She sits down, facing the astronaut, her tail lashing in the dust as she inspects the suit for familiar details. She's familiar with most of the Earth nations of her world, so she's looking for their patches. Or the red stripes on the helmet that would indicate an American mission commander.

"So the end of which world? Yours or..." She hesitates. "This one?"
Carna     The suit is worn, bleached by exposure to unfiltered sunlight. If there was an emblem on it somewhere, it has long been erased. The figure turns to look at Leyanne, the pure-black face visor flickers as a box of static appears on it. Or... In it? Like a TV screen. On it, is displayed flickering images of missile launches, energy weapons firing, cracks appearing all across the Earth and the Moon's surface, and then an immense blinding light.

A sudden glare from behind coincides with it, emanating from the direction of Earth and the Moon.

The space explorer responds in that staticky voice, "All worlds."

The light continues to expand, the line of destruction a ring of annihilation that accelerates as it moves. "Armageddon came twice. This is what happened the last time. It's going to happen again if you don't stop it. And then not even the dead will have a place to exist in."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks a little and looks at the suit, her eyes widening as she watches the show. At the flash, she looks up in the direction of Earth, blinking. "Phobos, that's a big blast to be visible from here..." Leyanne says, her tone awed, and worried. She watches the ring start to expand, somehow managing to look even whiter. "...all worlds?" She trails off. "OK. So what can I do to stop an apocalypse? I'm not..." a pause. "Wait, this is to do with Lumiere isn't it?"
Carna     "Yes." they answer. "You have a different perspective than the other outsiders who have gone there. Your unearthly origins. It put you in the right state to make a connection with. To communicate with. And so we can pass you a warning: A third apocalypse is coming. You must stop this one. Otherwise, the Unshaper will rise again. And nothing will stand in his way. You might not stand against these forces alone, but you can warn them. Help organize them. Begin the search for the doombringer. He is already among you."

The wave continues to accelerate, engulfing everything betwen Earth and Mars. The ground begins to crumble and rise up in chunks as it is drawn into the blast wave that gives no indication of slowing down. A true total end to all worlds that will expand and expand until nothing is left. This is what happened to the living world of Lumiere. An engineered armageddon, in which all of the most destructive weapons available were set off all at once.

The astronaut begins to rise with the chunks of the terrain as a staticky shrieking fills Leyanne's ears, bolts of white lightning coursing down from space to disintegrate mountains and plains and dig great molten canyons.

And then Mars is swallowed up as well, and Leyanne as well. However, unlike this Mars, when she wakes up, she'll still be just fine.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace blinks a little. She's about to ask more questions, to try and find out more detail on the doombringer, even as the end of the world - of all worlds - approaches. If this warning's coming to her, it means, most likely, that her mars - and many others - will be affected. And even if it's not, originally, she's been around the multiverse enough to know that these kinds of thing never stop at just one universe.

And even then, there's an apocalypse to stop, innocents to save. Even if it wasn't possible that her home was involved, she'd probably be trying to stop it. She turns to try and hold back the storm somehow, to try and get more time to question this astronaut but...

...but she's awake, in a cold sweat and tangled in her blankets, looking out over the dark waters of Hoonah as the fishing fleet slowly make their way in.

"F-Fuck."
