Scene #5862: Reploid and Cyborg

Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone had come back from an operation aiding the Terran Domminion, her Armred Suit was going to be in the shop for a whikle, with no pressing matters to end. She was weating a long jacket with a tank top and pant, finished off by knee high boots. She was sitting in a lounge with a data pad in hand, though there was cable jacked into it which seemds to come from the back of her neck, and a holodisplay came to life from the pad and it seems to be some sort of Motorcycle. The Japanese woman seems to be poking, proding and otherwise working on the display before her. "humm no this isn't quite right..."
Orchid	Orchid had spent the previous day getting familiar with the local communications systems, and today moving into her room on the ship... for a robot, she has a lot of clothes to move. But in any case, she's taking a break from unpacking to explore the ship, and has found the lounge, looking around as she enters.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa looks up to see Orchid as she nters szhe pauses from her work and seems to take interest in the replioid who has arrived. "Hey there, haven't seen you about the ship before." The sets the pad down and it shuts off, she also moves to pull the cable out and let it snap back into her neck somewhere. "I'm Kotone."
Orchid	"Probably because I haven't been here before," the reploid replies, nodding to the woman with the cable in her neck. "I'm Orchid, I just transfered here." she gestures at the data pad. "Working on something there?" she asks, curious.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa grins "I am working on something Orchid. Before I was with the Paladins or even adventuring across the multiverse. I was and still am a vechile designer and a mechanic. I'm working on a customer order for a small line of motorcyrles I make called the Knight."
Orchid	"Sounds like fun!" Orchid says, sitting next to Kotone. She is clearly more robotic, but her jury is out about thos other woman. "May I take a look? I've got an interest in how technology of different worlds works."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "Sure." She'll take the other pad and move to pass her the padd which brings the display of the high tech wheeled bike. It also seems to have a small nuclear battery powering an eletric engeine from the looks of it. "So your with the Maverick hunters, right?"
Orchid	"Yes, you've heard of us?" Orchid asks, rotating the bike around on the display. A nuclear battery makes as much sense as anything else. "Hmm, I'm guessing this is meant for on-road use?" she asks.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa Says "I hjavem, it's a small nuclear battery yes it's street legal where it's going. The basic disgne uses a basic electic moter, picked up some bits of tech from Rory White a friend of mine. It also comes iwth cyberentic interfaces though I have a non agumented design as well." She notes also if ORchid is payuing attention she'll find Kotone is giving off Wireless signals.
Orchid	"Cybernetic and augmented," Orchid comments, nodding to herself. She is picking up those wifi signals, and logs her system on out of curiousity. "Anyway, so long as you have sutible safeties, seems like a great way to get range."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "Yes, given cyberattacks cna be a problem not having an autstic mode where you can cut off all outside links would be very foolish. So what do you do for the Hunters if I might ask?"
Orchid	Orchid was thinking about the atomic batteries, but she nods at the mention of cutting off links. "I've got pretty good breaks between networks and my brain," she says with a nod. "Which is something of a professional requirement, given that I work as a Spotter."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "Ah a so what would be consider info warfare so to speak on some worlds. I do coding but mostly related into makcine my creations functional. So Spotting for combat units, and police actions right? There's a few thing in the local databases you'd want to heck out notcable viral and cognative hazards in the multiverse."
Orchid	"Combat missions, search and rescue in the wake of attacks, and other rapid intel gathering," Orchid says with a smile. "I coded my own Spyders so I can have some extra eyes out there. And I've got some experience with viral threats, but you're right about the need to check the databases."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "Oh drone work I do a bit but it's mostly gun turrets ansd cheap flying dameras. There's things out here that can warp organic or inograncis both mentally and physically out there. I also heard of a few other viri out there or nanotech horrors like a race known as the Borg."
Orchid	"True, but there's a lot more green places out here," Orchid says. "Worse danger, but also safer places. But anyway, what do you do when you're not designing motorcycles?" Yeah, she's kind of wanting to change the subject.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "That's true, little bit of gaming, taking my personak, Knight out on the road, exploring the multiverse, or taking my ship out in the void to see what I can find."
Orchid	"That... sounds like fun, actually," Orchid agrees, "To tell the truth, there's a lot out here that I want to explore."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "I also like checking out fashions from other worlds as well, I can get some very intereing things like this? This is a is smart clothing." It rippled slowly changing the colour from the dark blue to a lighter one. "All sorts of interesting things out there honestly."
Orchid	"Ooo, I need to get in on your trips," Orchid says with a smile. Yeah, she's starting to plot doing things with this cyborg. Mostly nice things, but possibly energetic things.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa has no idea ORchid's plotting thing other than trip time. "Sure that could be fun, I do have one crewman a Glitch named Slipbolt, she's fairly chill though. Though not much for some of the fashion stuff. Do you have any places you want to go?"
Orchid	"Glitch? And I'm still learning the place, so I don't know," Orchid admits. "Any place you haven't seen yet?"
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa Says "A synthic race, cyberntic they are called Glitch as theirt kind were made as a experiment their batch glitched and got stuck in the middle ages and never destroyg themselkves. Some of them glitch into full self awareness and tend to bolt fromt heir fellows. Your world would be one."
Orchid	Orchid nods. "Not all reploids are as much into fashion as I am. Particularly not the animal forms. And my world... isn't fun to visit, I think."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "Ah then we can go somewhere else then there's a number of high tech worlds out there if you want to go. From the Galatic Republic, Transhuman space, if you keep off Earth or ... ugg the Federation of planets."
Orchid	"Federation?" Orchid asks. "And it doesn't have to be high tech. I'm interested in seeing what other stuff I could incorporate for my personal style."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa says "Oh there's a place called Lazlo it's a bit of a multiveral nexus for stuff too both magic and tech there. There's some good people here you should check out the global broad band and the factional bands. You might find a friend of mine Rory, interesting."
Orchid	Orchid nods. "I'll add it to my list, but I think I've got some stuff I need to do." She stands up, fiddling with her armored dress. "Good to meet you Kotone."
