Scene #6001: The Dark Lady: Enter A Reploid

Tomoe	The West Coast of North America Washington State It was clear there was an Active Game Zone near several small towns nestled on the coast an entire village full of native Faires from of ALO had appeared along with a very large and evil looking castle in the mountains. Monsters Prowl the woodlands and strange animals have also appeared the local police have kept such things away from the town, but how long will that last. Also here and there are camps some from the Faries and others from the monsters through out the woods. There's been some indication of Elite activity in the area as well if one has paid attention to the global coms and movements of the GU an organization of adventures founded in the last years of the Union and Confederate war. ALso tales of a Dark Knight, known as the Dark Lady is behind all of this? Yet given this world's reality bleed with the digital who knows what might be actually going on.
Orchid	The whole idea of the 'active game zone' is fascinating to those who haven't encountered it before, and Orchid is more than willing to find quiet moments to explore places with things she isn't fully familiar with. So, equipped with her usual built in gear, and with a camera drone following her to record the event, she crosses into the Active Game Zone. There's an odd feeling in the back of her mind as she makes that entry, but she can't quite pin it down. Anyway, she wanders into the rainforests of Washington State.
Tomoe	A menu would appear asking Orchid to enter a user handle the small green screen just floats there hovering awaitin input from the replid. Nothing seems out of the normal here one might see a few birds flying over head, ravens or crows of some sort. The Menu hovers there waiting for input strange really then agian given what's happened to this world? Maybe it's the new normal?
Orchid	Might as well sign in. The reploid thinks for a minute, and types in the screen name of RadioFreeFlowers. If prompted to make an account, she will, with a 50 character password. Past that, she'll see what else this place has in store for her.
Tomoe	As Orchid fills out her names nothing much happens the promot vanishes, oddly it does not ask for a password. Still what might get her attention is one of her drones has spotted something a humanoid figure flying at sub sonic speed only a short distance form where she is. The feed would also give her a few of someone in black armou if you could call it that with dragon like wings? Odd there.
Orchid	Well, that's one of the OTHER reasons Orchid likes going on little trips like this, the chance to check out new styles, and see which she might want to borrow for her own use. On seeing a local, Orchid decides to take a closer look. After all, if it turns out to be a hostile encounter, she'll just leg it. She calculates where the target is heading, and moves to intercept. She's using her dashboots to make up the speed, but she's going maybe 100mph tops.
Tomoe	The figure keeps lfying along like nothing is wrong, it seems Orchid and her drones have not be noticed the figure will come in low over the trees she seems to be heading for a clearling just a bit away, given how lazy she's flying? Orchid had no issue keeping up she'll even get a closer look ar the strange towering woman in black 'armor' who has some oddly dratonic features...namely the wings tail and horns.
Orchid	Suspecting that the phrase "RadioFreeFlowers" might be hanging above her head, Orchid follows the flyer, dashing and jumping off trees to keep up. She's not quite in X's league, but she's pretty good at moving quickly. She doesn't want to seem hostile, or like she's sneaking up, so she's making no attempt to be quiet. "Hallo!" she calls out.
Tomoe	The Figure comes in for a landing in a couch and stretches the wings seeming to vanish for the moment. The very towering woman nearly jumps out of her skin at the hello. She turns abotu staring "Wait what?1 Who are you?!" She's also turning a bit red as well.
Orchid	"I'm Orchid," the reploid responds, landing on a branch and looking the taller woman in the eyes. "And I think I know you, from the operation on the fortress on the sea turtle, Tomoe, right?" Her mood is very much friendly, not sensing any danger yet.
Tomoe	Tomoe's wearing what could be considered JRPG fantasy armor and let us leave it at that she seems selfconous about it from the look of her face. She seems to relax a bit though looking down at Orchid, she has no choice on that given their height diffences. She does wear the outfit well or it might be worse. "Orchid right? Your one of the Paladin's support personel, right?"
Orchid	"Right," the reploid replies. "I'm here to get the lay of the land, figure out what's going on, in case something goes really wrong here." She's looking up and down Tomoe's body, considering the outfit. .(The wings might help when I'm flying, if only as stabilizers...)
Tomoe	Tomoe looks at Orchid for a moment nodding "So what heard the rumour sof the vile Dark Lady?" She strieks a pose for a moment "Well you ahve found her, no I'm not rampaging no I'm not trying to hurt anyone. We broke a quest chain and are dealing with it now." That was pretty trippy to be talking about what used to be game only things which are now reality.
Orchid	"I've heard the term, but little more," Orchid replies, carefully watching the pose. "And that armor holds together well, how does it feel to wear?" she asks. The quest chain breaking seems to be beside the point, except. "Wait, did you mean that breaking the quest chain caused the spreading... game leak, I guess you could call it." She gestures to the text over her head. "And does it need to be resolved somehow?"
Tomoe	Tomoe says "...wait really?! Embrassing!" She takes the hook to talk about something else. "No the game zones and the world going partially ditgital ahs nothing to do that it's been like this for over a year with new ones popping up here and there. Somthing changed our world and a number of the people form it. Yes it does or the zone will remain in a more active mode which will cause issues for everyone from it and living near it. Yes we have to defeat the last of the 'heroes' who have been sent against me thouh the castle itself may have a part to play I'm afraid." Hopefully this will distract from talking about the outfit...
Orchid	Nope. "Would you be willing, or I guess able, to sell it to me?" Orchid asks. "Failing that, I'd love the chance to copy some of it." She's as direct as Delilah could be. "As for the heroes, I may be able to help... but what's this about a castle?" she asks, curious about other things as well. "That armor looks quite sturdy for how it's formed."
Tomoe	Tomoe says "This outfit is a quest effect, I wander into the region I'm wearing this no matter what I was before or I try to put ...wait what? Why would you want something like this." She's basically flailing at this point. "I'm not sure I could take it off either. As for the castlt it looks like the /dark/ lady is suposed to asend but we suspect it's going to be some kind of crazy boss fight."
Orchid	Orchid nods, "Suspected it might be something like that," she says. "And if we're being honest, I've always got my eyes open for local fashion, and I think I could adjust that armor to fit my style, and it certainly flatters your body." She's moving around Tomoe, looking at all sides if the other lets her. "As for the castle, if it needs a dark lady to ascend to finish the quest line... Huh." She's thinking, half an idea forming.
Tomoe	Tomoe sighs "if you really want to copy it go ahead I didn't expect anyone to want to cosplay me in this." She makes a bit of a fash "You might wnat ot go to a village for more common normal fashion. As for helping I'd be willing to accept more aid if your offering it."
Orchid	Orchid chuckles. "Despite the dress," she gestures at her armored skirt, "I'm not a prude. I like showing off, when I get the chance. Anyway," she pauses. "I'd be glad to help, but if we're dealing with game logic, a bunch of games have heroes simply respawn if they die, unless they die in a special part of the story, where a non-standard game over can happen. So we may need the 'dark lady' to ascend to make the victory stick."
Tomoe	Tomoe says "It doesn't give full armor coverage." Says the lady whose a living videogame avatar now. Old habits die hard however. "We stay dead like anyone else." Her tone gets a bit cold for a moment there's clearly something else there.
Orchid	"Maybe," Orchid says, willing to back away from the topic. "But if these heroes are causing a problem... Huh. Maybe I should check out this castle, get the lay of the land before the climax fight."
Tomoe	Tomoe Says "You are welcome to come I will make sure the minions know your a guest." She notes with a grin. "You can fly right?"
Orchid	Orchid pulls out her rocket surfboard. "Yeah, I can fly," she says with a smile. There are some limits to her flight, but not huge ones.
