Kotone Yamakawa Earth
Ameri-Russio Alliance
Hawaii - Kahului Airport

The mission had been organized true to his word Colonel J. Heller had the gear ready on time for the elites, the airport was not in as much ruin as you might expect but still it was clearly not in the best of shape, several old jetliners littered the tarmacs along with some military craft, some long forgotten. The team had been brief by the colonel while they were transported to the edge of the airport by a transport helicopter. There were several objectives, the backup power needed to be restarted it was an old diesel engine generator which hopefully should still boot up. the control tower needed to be taken, along with it's security station which oversaw many of the automated systems and the hangers all needed to be secured.

Kotone was suited in up stealth armour as usual, and armed with an assault rifle she had a drone hovering by her shoulder as the chopper moved in. It dropped repelling lines. "We can't set in closer the American Core of Military engineers put in some static defences and the last scout drone was shot down. Also we have confirmed movement there's automated androids and combat drones still active in here. The codes to shut em off were lost with the collapse of America, so take them down."

She takes a deep breath.

"They are not people cannot be people they are first maybe second generation. There is no chance of one developing a Ghost so don't hold back or let the appearance of one fool you.

The Generator is located in the sub-level of the Control Tower, I have the recon maps uploaded to those of you who take it directly for the rest of you it's in your tablets. Team One will go for the Generator and the Control Tower, Team two will go for the Hangers, there's military hardware in there, hell there might be salvage the Alliance will pay more for."

"Team One will be Orchid, Staren and Twilight. Team Two will be me, Maaka and Zerrawn."

She even got Zerrawn's name pronounced right, she's soon down the zip line and cloaking as she does so.

<<Keep your comms active at all times anyone with jacks keep your security up there may be active old E-warfare systems.>>

Once the last person is off the transport it's going to get the hell out of there pulling back to the main staging point.

The Tarmac is littered with cargo crate and slumped humanoid forms here and there, but they are clearly not bodies of people. Could be old labour androids? The path to the Hangers and the main control tower seem clear for the moment.
Zerrawn     Zerrawn nods towards Maaka and Kotone. "Lead the way..." he says, voice already cold as ice. Once his path was clear, the sith lord falls from the transport, not even bothering to grab onto the zipline. But he shows that thanks to his enhanced durability and his force connection, he lands in a rather impressive 3 point pose, and rises up slowly. <<Lord Wrath, on the field.>>
Alexis Maaka     Cocking her rifle is Maaka, clad in a stealth suit with a balaclava to match. She clutches a suppressed rifle as she hooks onto the line and rappels down to the ground. "Copy that."

She switches to night-vision as she hits the ground, 417 raised out. Her optics glance amid the ground, noting the bodies of androids. The cyborg is wary of these machines. Eventually she heads toward the hangar after securing the landing zone.

The Sith's entrance is certainly impressive, but more than a bit showy. <Wrath, take point.> She orders over neuro-comm, using her optics to scan the group's surroundings for the moment.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight hasn't ridden in a helicopter very often and is looking out the window excitedly at the ground passing by and the propeller overhead. She's in human form again so she doesn't draw too much suspicion in a world that seems to have only minor contact with the multiverse. But, when the briefing starts she pays close attention, even taking some notes on a small notepad. "Do we have an idea of the number of autonomous drones or how strong their armaments are?" she asks as they near the landing site. "...I'll just keep a barrier around us." she says after a moment. She blinks at the mention of these drones not having ghosts. "Wait...was that a possibility? Do they have robots that look like robots but have ghosts anyway?" she asks worriedly as every starts hopping out of the helicopter. Twilight is a bit hesitant to follow, and when she does she ends up screaming like a girl as she slides down. "AAAAAAAAAAAHH!!" When she finally touches the ground again she is clinging to her zipline roller. It takes her a moment to let go and she looks a bit frazzled. She follows after the others soon enough, unable to hear the mind-com chatter. "Why are all of these robots already broken? Did someone else insert before us?"
Staren     Staren is here! To local sensors he looks like a military cyborg, but visually he just looks like someone wearing high-tech armor. He's in robot mode though. Twilight gets a gentle hug when they meet, and he explains, "No. Should be impossible without multiversal interference. If some kind of... AI consciousness came through a gate and ended up inhabiting one of these drones, it'll be asking introspective questions instead of following old orders to shoot intruders. When it's time to head down he just jumps out of the helicopter and uses thrusters and energy wings to land okay, but he looks briefly alarmed at Twilight's scream, then concerned. "You okay? You could've just teleported down..." And then he looks at the broken robots. "I don't know. Maybe the refugees got weapons and already made it here... or maybe some competing drones from one of the other sides of this old war defeated them and occupied the airport. Keep an eye out and be ready to shield." He waits for some of Orchid's drones (or he'll send his own quadrotors if she declines) to scout the area and see how far they get before being shot down.
Kotone Yamakawa Team One

Kotone, Alexis and Lord Wrath would find there were signs of a battle here once, several ruined old M1 Abrams tanks, primitive as hell by either off worlder's standards lay here rusting, home to now nothing more than plants and wildlife. Here and there are blast craters partially filled with water, and spent shell castings lay about both infantry and for larger weapons.

The group would arrive at the Hangers to see they had been fortified once the fortifications are now decaying. There are humanoid forms slumped over here and there and on the ground, but nothing alive, no. They could be early gen androids or droids as one might put it.

<<Nothing active yet>>

Comes Kotone as she sneaks ahead getting closer to the doors.

Team Two

This is totally not a date for Staren and Twilight, or maybe it is? Who knows their path is much the same as team one's until they get to the hanger. Kotone replies to Twilight over the tac net.

<<This city was ruined in a global war, called world war three. Also, it's been nearly two decades. Ghost refers to a soul, we have been able to figure out if something is aware. For example, I have a ghost, my assist AI Harley does not.>>

They would find the civilian entryway with a broken window door they could force their way through easily to get inside the vast sprawling area was dark, there was debris but the map was fresh and there was a path to the Generator and the control tower. So far everything was going according to plan, which is to any elite with some experience a very bad sign.
Zerrawn     Lord Wrath nods towards Maaka and takes the lead. He grips the cylander from his belt in his hand, but does not ignite his lightsaber just yet. <<Seeing signs of definate combat. Someone seems to have hit the location before we arrived...Watch for ambushes.>> He says, his ever active aura of rage slowly slipping into his voice, as well as becoming almost palpable.
Staren     Staren watches the feed from his drones. "Generator looks clear."

Tense waiting. Twilight can watch the feeds on tablet or glasses, though. Suddenly, the silence is broken when the drones headed into the control tower go dark. Staren winces at the sudden change. "Alright. Let's secure the generator as best we can, then move up carefully." He starts walking, then stops and looks at the fallen drones. "Hmm..." then he shakes his head. "No, I don't have time to break military encryption.

"So... I think maybe we shouldn't turn on the generator until we've taken the control tower, so we don't have to fight base defenses too. Any thought on how we can make sure nobody but us can get in here?" he asks Twilight.
Lin     "So. Ancient automatons for defenses. Nobody can get through? Sounds like a challenge to me!" Lin exclaimed, dropping in a little late (did the Concord literally open a teleport hole a hundred feet too high up? Or did she LEAP down from such a height somehow...?) but just in time to hear the explanation and join up with team One.

Lin's out of place as they get, what with her padded linen kimono and what would seem to be a katana sheathed on one side... and a Naginata in her hands, one that's a strange cystal-blue and shimmers translucently, the tip a strange ornate barbed fractal shape that resembles one section of a snowflake.

And just like that, she's dashing off with Team One, arriving at the battle grounds... full of vehicles she doesn't quite recognize. "... So much metal. So much WASTED METAL....!! Who just lets such amazing things ROT in the field...?"
Staren     Staren blinks as suddenly, Lin. Oh good, she will doubtless be an asset when it comes to retaking the tower. "People who are not prepared to fight the other things that DID this. That's why we're here, well, one of the reasons. Once this region is safe again, this can all be salvaged. Part of where our pay is coming from, I expect."
Alexis Maaka     Oh Lin's here.

Maaka focuses on the mission, sweeping the area as Zerrawn picks something up. <<Long ago maybe. Must've been the war.>> She responds, approaching the entrance to the hangar. <<Fortifications have been here a while. Sweep and clear.>> She enters the hangar, rifle in hand, as she searches inside.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight blinks at the mention of teleporting. "Oh..." She giggles a bit before following after Staren. She carefully squeezes through the broken window door before considering Staren's question. "Well, there is plenty of debris around. It wouldn't be hard to make a metal fortification with all of these derelict robots around. Or I could repair the door so that we can simply lock it." She considers a moment, then nods and holds up a hand. "That seems better. We don't know where the automated defenses might attack from so blocking off our exit seems like a bad idea." Her hand starts to glow with pastel purple light as she attempts to fix the door with her magic. It won't be any more sturdy than it was before, but it should be lockable and at least deter any wandering patrols. "If we need something heavier later I'll put it together at that time."

The currently human Twilight is surprised by Lin suddenly appearing and rushing in with them, but she doesn't seem to mind the enthusiasm. She hands out with Pinkie Pie after all. Once the door is fixed and locked Twilight joins them in heading toward the control tower.
Kotone Yamakawa Team One

<<Could be old there was rainwater in some of the crater, as I noted we had a global war this city has been in ruin since still if someone else was. They might as well be that old Lin. *laughs* As for the metal? We have got to the point. The cost to recover likely prevented it. This city has been in ruins and until the gate formed there hadn't been population pressures to reclaim it. Still your right it's wasteful. ...huh what's that...>>

Kotone gets a hack warning on her HUDD at that very moment. Her systems are able to keep it out for the moment.

<<Something's active here ... something just tried to hack my shell.>>

Kotone glances about now trying to find the source of the hack then she sees it. A humanoid figure moving away from them.

Worse all over the hanger are the slumped androids and drones optics light up bright red and they start to get up and move. Some still have weapons with rounds and they open up on whomever they can. Kotone has some protection due to being cloaked. Lin and Lord Warth would have several relatively intact units charge them with forearm blades snapping out intending to go close combat, they are janky but fairly fast. Maaka would come under some fire and she would also get a hack attempt on her own cybernetics from something here.

Team Two

Nothing tries to murder Staren and Twilight just yet they are able to make it to the tower, with little issue the terminal they move through is littered with wreckage the odd drone, shell casings, and there are some very old blood splatters here and there as well. There was one hell of a firefight here but it was years ago from how faded the blood stains are. Thankfully Twilights earlier magic is able to repair the damaged door. It functions thankfully this place is old enough it's an analog locking mechanism. They need to push for the tower, Staren knows where the gun turret is that got his drone at the very least, so that should help. Given the layout, it's on a landing below the control tower. Given this was a civilian airport? The defences here are all haphazard and jury-rigged it seems.
Zerrawn     Zerrawn looks over and spots the incoming andriods, grimmacing. He raises up a hand and taps into the force to shove the incoming droids back, while his free hand engages his lightsaber. The crimson colomn of light moves forth to intercept any armblades he missed, and if he was lucky, sever the blades themselves.
Staren     Staren watches magic repair the door. He leaves a camera and microphone to monitor the area.

"Okay... I'll take out the first turret, then we'll have to move slowly, with a shield up. Can you make a hole in it to shoot through?"

Depending on whether the defense is at the end of a long hallway or around a corner, Staren uses a minimissile or a thrown grenade to try and take it out. Either way, the resulting burst of super heat will hopefully melt it... and burn any paint or carpet or the like around to ash, but Staren assumes the tower itself is made of sturdier stuff.
Alexis Maaka     Maaka's systems are defending her from hacking as well, before the interference in her optics goes away. "Primitive shit." She grunts under her breath, just as she spies robots coming to life.

<<ENGAGING!>> She messages, before sliding behind cover as she's fired upon. The cyborg goes straight to business, popping out from cover as she takes aim with the battle rifle.

The rifle gives off a muted crack with each shot, 7.62 NATO doing its work while hammering the androids. They may be primitive and worn down, but these bastards are pretty durable.
Lin     ANDROID AMBUSH! Lin's danger senses alert her just in time. When THINGS START MOVING she's instantly dropped into a combat stance, Naginata - of Blue Jade, it would seem - held out and ready for thrusts and parries. Instead of forfeiting her solid footing she waits until the assailnts get within thrusting range and then--

CLANG CLANG CLANG! Sparks fly as she uses far superior reach to hold them at bay and test their balance, defenses... eyes flicking back and forth at great speed as if she can predict their every moves.

Or... no, that's not quite accurate. Perhaps the way she's leaving just a hint of an opening here and there is leading them to make predictable strikes? It's hard to say, but the clamor of melee combat rings like thunder, and then--

"Huuuooooouuuuyiah!!" A sudden THRUST, the naginata glows... and an icy wind pelts the machines in their joints, sapping at mobility and balance! -- hopefully!
Twilight Sparkle      "Of course!" Twilight answers Staren when he asks about the shield. She uses her magic again and picks up a few large pieces of concrete then reinforces them with her barrier magic to make them more sturdy. Then she holds them in front of her as a moving wall, the four pieces intersecting fairly well to provide good protection, and she makes sure to spread them out when Staren attacks and close them up after he has made his shot just in case there are other defenses.
Kotone Yamakawa Team One

Kotone is hot on the heels of the thing that's fleeing from her, given her cloak she's going to push it for all it's worth. Zerrawn is able to hack and slash his way through several of the droids, arms and blades go clattering to the ground with smouldering lines from where the light sabre cut them. They were not made to deal with energy weapons at all.

Alexis is able to do some serious damage, the droids are old damaged and not working right as it is Maaka drops several more causing one's ammo bin to cook off in a small explosion. Lin is able to, Liun is hacking and slashing her way through a number of the drones they don't seem to be wired that much for melee. Swords are practically a tool of sporting for fencing and the like on this world. the drones are clearly old though. With all the gunfire, sword and sabre play? The things are put down the last ones dropping to the ground with a crunch. Kotone has meanwhile got into the hanger.

If anyone checks the machines there will be a mix of American markings on some with Chinese markings on others.

<<Hold on there's movement in here something big oh shit it's a ....>>

A powerful ECM system goes on scrambling radios for a short distance about the hanger. Sounds of fire from Kotone's rifle can be heard from within.

Team Two

Staren and Twilight are having an easier time of it with Starens explosives the turret doesn't' stand a chance it rendered into a ruined lump of parts and the carpet shockingly is only a bit singed when he and Twilight will show their heads with Twilight's protection the few shots the turret got off doe not hame them the way to the terminal is clear or so it seems. It's just a stairway up.

Team One.

When the other get inside they will find Kotone on the move running and gunning against a hulking mechanic best. A Tank like thing with six massive legs, two forward arms with heavy guns and a third one on it's back. Also on its hull in the faded paint is the old Communist Chinees flag... It's weapons are chattering away as it's trying to gun down Kotone.l

BGM Rise GITS SAC https://youtu.be/q8w5PzO4Dxw
Zerrawn     With all the droids around him down, Zerrawn runs after where kotone went. As the static hit, he grimmaces and briefly disables his radio and steps inside. Upon sighting the big bot, it may find a lightsaber flying in to sever it's legs.
Alexis Maaka     In all the excitement, Maaka lost track of Kotone when she ran off. She hears something scrambling the comms software briefly, then rifle fire. "KOTONE!"

She storms off, only to find an ancient spider-mecha with Chinese markings. Maaka wordlessly swaps her rifle in favor of a grenade launcher with a worn wooden stock, tally marks etched into the ancient wood, and tiger-stripe paint. Wrapped around the end of the stock is electric tape with bright yellow written, 'BORN TO KILL'. The M79 goes off, firing a high-ex round at the mech.

This might be a bad idea, but Maaka's friend is in danger. And when that happens...well...stuff explodes.
Staren     The turret is slagged. Staren ducks behind Twilight's barrier, ready for...

    ready for...

    ...Nothing?

He shrugs. "I guess we move on. However fast you can move the barrier easily, no need to rush." He'll advance with the others, behind the shield, until they encounter more resistance.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight is surprised as well. Judging by the radio chatter and all the smashing sounds coming from the hanger she figured they would at least have some sort of danger to contend with. But, after the turret it seems there isn't much to worry about in the control tower. "These are nothing really." she says, twirling the four blocks of concrete around herself for a moment before continuing up the stairs. "We won't be able to do much here until the generator is restored, but at least you can scan for automated defenses right?" she says to Staren.
Lin     "Gh!" With every clash of metal servos against Exalted muscle, sparks fly and shockwaves kick up dust. There's not a scrap of cybernetics on this redhead, and yet...

Yet, she's gotten the measure of these 'bots, and so she carves through them like a whirlwind. Stabbing them and spearing them and swinging them from her weapon like chunks from a shish-kabob! A few times she stabs a bot and it FREEZES SOLID from inside outwards, and then she swings the entire mass at its fellows, letting the frozen 'bot fly at just the right moment to slam into other assailants!

Perhaps most startling of all... her breathing is completely even the whole time. Not a bad of perspiration on her face to be seen!

In a break between the fighting, she realizes... "... these automatons all fight us... but not each other! Look, their colors, completely different. ... Why do they guard this place from all intrusion instead of fight each other...?!" For that bit of dialogue, her entire language shifts... although the difference is subtle.

In the next moment she backflips and HURLS the Naginata down into the biggest gathering of 'bots. Where it strikes... Old Realm glyphs spread out from the floor within a massive snowflake shape written in frost across the hangar grounds. It shines and shimmers... and then--

    *FLASH FREEZE!!*

Everything in range is hit with a wave of absolutely terrifying cold. Some of the more damaged bots might well be, strangely enough, transformed into delicate snow-and-ice statues of themselves instantly, only to erode away in a blizzard gale that howls the very next moment as the Naginata is wrenched from the floor by an unseen force and flies back to Lin's hand!
Kotone Yamakawa Team Two

Staren and Twilight get into the control tower it's quiet somehow none of the windows are broken, a few mice run in terror from the giants that have arrived there are a few operator Androids here, the best intact ones the pair have seen slumped over at their stations. It looks like everything is intact hopefully the mice haven't been nesting in anything major. They would need to get the power on quick as for the scan there are a few other turrets but they seem to be offline, there is a security station here so maybe Staren can take control of those on the lower levels? OR Twilight depending on whom works with the terminals up top while someone else gets the generator online. Given the chaos, they might want to do that quick.

Team One.

Lin notices something very important the drones are not all the same model and are bearing the markings of different nations. Something ain't right with that, given the hacking attack it paints a certain picture about what's in the hanger. She does an amazing job of preventing more drones from going to aid the spider tank like thing in the hanger which will make everyone else's lives easier and it's a good thing too across the airfield more drones are coming back online and shuffling for the hangers.

Kotone meanwhile is running for her life at the moment as rounds chew up the hangers about her and she keeps moving, if not for her speed and cloak it would be very bad for her.

She hears Maaka's cry of concern and it does her heart good but she's too focused on not dying to ay anything.

Alexis own round does do damage the tank wasn't factory fresh and the local defenders all those years ago had scored some hits on it the blast does get it to stop shooting at Kotone and it turns it's guns up Alexis it does not understand what Zerawn is doing until it picks up the energy signature from his saber which cuts through two of it's legs causing it to lose a good deal of mobility the turret gun turns to fire on him while the arm guns now open up on Alexis the thing is hurt now and with Lin holding off the swarm of extra drones it looks like they might be able to manage it.

Kotone has also had a moment to breathe and she'll lob a pair of plasma grenades at the thing which will detonate doing a bit of damage and taking out whatever was jamming the comms, this thing was not hardened against energy weapons at all. As for Lina's final attack she's now surrounded by frozen robots of various sot unable to move and slowly being torn apart by the exalt's abilities.
Zerrawn     Zerrawn grimmaces, but thankfully his shield generator kicks in and helps him to deflect some of the bullets, at least until his saber returns to his hand. He quickly brings it up to deflect some of the rounds, as well as tries to close the distance and sever a few more arms.
Alexis Maaka     Maaka ejects the spent round, diving for cover as the machine opens fire upon her. There's mostly just crates and rubble, which makes evading fire difficult to say the least. It means Maaka has to run like hell, which she does. The cyborg slides behind an intact pillar, as machine gun fire steadily chips away at the stone and steel. "Shitshitshit-" Maaka reloads her launcher, this time using some kind of sticky-round she fires upon the machine's center during a lull in the fire.
Lin     "There's... no end to these things! I'm getting annoyed!" Lin exclaims as more and more drones slowly fill in. By now some of them are starting to SHOOT at her, and that's annoying because she has to focus EVERYTHING to block bullets.

Yet, somehow, block bullets she does with the shaft of her weapon, twisting it this way and that quick enough to blur in most vision. Only a few bullets strike her armor, ripping into the thick cloth and hit skin that's tough like leather but hard as steel. A few hisses of pain, a few dribbles of blood, not much more.

With a flash of golden light, Lin's Naginata simply vanishes... and aren't replaced with anything. Instead...

Instead she stands near the half-broken frozen chunks of bots she's responsible for, and just starts PUNCHING them at high speed.

With each punch, a sizable chunk of frozen bot becomes a howling projectile half the speed of the bullets that are coming at Lin, and with prodigiously more mass!
Staren     Staren smiles as Twilight spins the blocks of concrete seemingly effortlessly. "Better safe then sorry. Once the control room is secure, I'll go turn on the generator, and we'll see what happens."

And, indeed, they reach the control room with no more resistance! Huh. Staren looks over one of the operator androids to see if it was damaged or just ran out of battery, then (after checking with Twilight re: precise teleportation) runs out of the room.
Twilight Sparkle      Twilight blinks as Staren rushes out so fast. "Wait, you're the..!" But, he's gone. She sighs softly and looks at the controls. This really isn't her thing since Equestria has only rudimentary computers at best. "You really should have let me do that." she says over the radio to Staren. "Fixing a generator with magic is much easier than trying to decipher all the controls and access the security system. I don't know what any of these buttons do!"
Staren     Staren stops a short distance from the control room when Twilight suggests it'd be better to let her fix the generator.

"O-oh. Sorry. I... I didn't want to expose you to extra danger in case we've attracted attention." But of course she can handle herself as well as any elite. It's not like she's walking into an ambush of half a dozen Confederates, some of whom want to cut her up for parts, reanimate her as a zombie, and use her as a puppet to take over Equestria. It's NOT USUALLY THAT BAD. "U-um... if you could see through the floor to where the generator is, could you teleport accurately?"

Upon an affirmative answer, he shares map data with her glasses so that she CAN see the generator room through the floor, projected as an AR illusion in the glasses. He returns to the control room. "Sorry about that."
Kotone Yamakawa Team One

The Tank has taken some serious damage from the assault if it was a modern one and factory fresh? It would last longer against them but this thing is old, it's just getting the hell shot out of or just cut up by weapons that even the modern era has not been able to make work, for as much as the space wars fans of this world would love to make laser swords.

Zerrawn is able to endure this to his personal shield generator, he closes in there's not much up in melee defence and what there is more hacking related which the Sith due to his lack of implants is not really at risk for at all. He's able to hack off one of the gun arms reducing the tank's firepower by a third.

Maaka gets off a shot with her rocket launcher the moment the Sith Lord is clear and the blast staggers it. Kotone meanwhile has had time to pull out another weapon from her matter manipulator and it's an X-COM MEK Railgun, which she fires taking out the turret gun on the thing, the further attacks from the sith lord get one leg on his way out and the machine unable to balance and suffering numerous failures falls to the hangar floor. The last gun is trying to fire a shot right at Kotone and hits the pillar she's hiding behind as it comes down.

Lin meanwhile starts using the drones as weapons two-fisted android style has now been born and she's doing a good job at thinning their ranks.

Team Two. The operator is just out of power it could be brought back online if they had the need too it looks like all of them have been powered down. There's no issue for Staren to get to the room there is some damage so it's best he swaps withTwilight thankfully her magic when she uses it will have no problem fixing the Generator to be good as new. Staren will have to face the issue of getting the computers back top online.
Zerrawn     Zerrawn's grin grows as the machine falls, though the shot to the pillar gets his attention. Anything it was holding up would immidiately get his attention, and his focus as he tapped into the force to keep anything from falling on his allies.
Twilight Sparkle      With Staren's guidance Twilight is able to safely teleport to the generator room and quickly uses her magic to get the generator back online. Power is soon flowing to the control center to allow Staren to get to work on those computers. Truth is she probably could have teleported down even without Staren's AR vision, but the purple-pony-turned-human has never been overly sure of herself or prone to taking risks.

However, once she is sure the generator is in good condition again she has no problem teleporting back to the control room with Staren. "From the radio chatter I think it is drones, possibly controlled by an unknown force." she says as she watches Staren work, offering her repair powers for any wires or switches or the like that need fixing.
Staren     Once power comes back, Staren gets to work starting the systems back up, if they don't do so automatically.

He can only hope that there is some basic level of settings he can access without authentication or that maybe, just maybe, these systems are somehow unsecured. But it may be a long process of resetting things, or trying to pull data from the androids, or whatever. Staren's not a hacker, so he can't bypass such things quickly. But with physical access and noone trying to stop him? Getting control of the system should be just a matter of time.

"I'm not sure if the drones are from this facility. But if they're not, maybe we can turn the base defenses on them." After making sure it knows the others are friends and not foe, of course.
Alexis Maaka     Maaka ejects another grenade round, the sticky-shell taking out the tank with ease.

"We're getting outta here, GO!" She calls out, swapping to her 417. Zerrawn's freaky space-magic powers will help take care of covering their escape, and she drops a smoke grenade to help with that. Opening fire on the last turret, Maaka runs like hell as she follows Kotone out of the hangar. They've done what they came to do, no point in sticking around any longer than necessary if Heller wants his money's worth.
Lin     With the incoming tidal wave of Drones slowed and stymied... Lin finally runs out of parts to hurl, and wrings her hands out. "Gya-haha-ow..."

This gives her time to have a loook at what's happening elsewhere in the Hangar. Lin opens her mouth as if to speak... and then slams it shut in a grimace. How is everyone getting tripped up by that old hunk of junk? "I've gotta chat with whoever made that armor..."

For now, though, she simply LEAPS high up towards the ceiling.. plants both boots on it, and SPRINGS back down.

Simply hoping that a FALLING FIST will be enough to crumple the thing and keep it from moving!
Kotone Yamakawa Team Two

Twilight has no issue getting everything up and running once more, the generator powers up and for the first time in ages much of the airport comes online, it lights up the night in the ruined city and people will take notice of this action that someone has managed to get past all the drones and get it online. Staren meanwhile is able to get into the computer and maybe to his horror if he's aware of it? The Windows Ten operating system boot up screen can be seen here, a horror of awaiting nearly two decades of updates may await Staren before he can do anything of worth here, or maybe he could find a slip of paper clutched in one of the android's hands it's got the password, he's able to get the old OS up and running it's not for high-level access but it's enough to turn things on.

Team One

The place is not coming down entirely and the Tank finally give up the ghost from damage Kotone is a bit battered some minor injuries but she's grabbed carried off as Lin moves to punch the tank out? When it finally is crushed into a mangled mess by the force of her attack? All the other drones just /fall/ over or stop moving.

Kotone comes around.

"I ... was not expecting that and thank you!"

The tanks down Lord Wrath has protected everyone from the falling debris with the AirPort Secure Colonel Heller's men can move in and start securing it. Still, some pairs of eyes are on the AirPort they see it's back online someone with firepower has come to town and they will start to make ready for it.
Staren     Good ol' sticky notes! For once, it's a good thing that management insisted on password standards that are hard for humans to remember. And then, WINDOWS TEN. One can only hope that, this being an airport, the operators set it up to not reboot without permission. Even if not so, Staren hopefully has time to do stuff while it downloads decades of updates in the background. Does it even have an internet connection? That's interesting info by itself.

Of course, once stuff is up and running, he starts setting up remote access of some sort, whether through an ecto connected to the computer or what. Just in case, although their sponsors will hopefully send people to man this soon.
