Xianren A LONDON MUSEUM OF ART
NOT LONG AGO

The museum staff was a little shocked when an eight foot tall giant in robes asked to take the tour. The London-based museum was fairly popular, but this was something a little new for it. However, there was no reason to discriminate, so they allowed him to participate. The tour took them through the architecture gallery, several wings of paintings, and so on, but the whole time, the man seemed bored. Or at least, he did, until they reached the sculptures.

In a large room with a hanging 'art piece' in the air and several sculptures and paintings, with little dividers and glass cases, white painted walls and light colored floors, the muscular man lingered at one of the sculptures. A colorful spiral, towering upwards, with the tip of it painted white. It was fairly pretty, though if it was high art would depend on someone's tastes. For the man...he liked it.

And so, the glass went crashing as he suddenly put his fist through it, shards bouncing off of his skin as he retrieved the sculpture. Tourists and staff alike panicked, as a security guard approached to stop him. When the man ignored him and continued to reach for the sculpture, the guard grew his stungun, as his partner approached.

The man in the robes glowed with a white fire.

NOW
The museum has been as evacuated as it could be in the timeframe, though there's still people stuck in there. Namely, the security guard who drew his stungun has it melted it in his hands, writhing in agony on the floor from the intense heat and pain of getting the metal basically welded to him. The other security guard who approached is heaped unconscious in a corner, having been thrown and taken out immediately. The perpetrator remains, as help is called for.

Xianren walks around the gallery, basically shopping for more. The statue remains lightly gripped in his finger tips, as he speaks aloud, even if only one security guard who's not even paying attention can really hear him. "Now, what would be a good accompaniment to this piece..."

Xianren basically looks like the cross between a monk and some sort of Asian emperor. He's dressed in fine but loose robes, white and red, and has basically a perfect physique, an eight foot tall mountain of a man with a bald head and piercing green eyes. The way he looks at most of the art is in disdain, as if he's seeing something that doesn't please him. The sculpture seems to be the only thing so far he really likes.
Doctor Strange      Xianren will hear a hissing behind him. It's more like a sizzling fire than a noise an animal would make. If he deigns to look, he'll spot a ring of glowing orange sparks. A hole, burned into reality. A window to distant New York, an ocean away. From that window emerges a middle-aged man with graying temples and a thinly trimmed goatee, dressed in a way that screams 'sorcerer' to Xianren's Exalted sensibilities. Assuming he looks.

Whether Strange's entrance gets Xianren's attention or not, his next action probably will. The tiles of the floor rise up in opposition, blocking his path. "Hey, hi." Strange's gravelly voice rattles a sarcastic greeting the emperor's way. "What you're doing is considered stealing, so..." He clicks his tongue, giving a little shrug. "Put it back, and let's talk." Behind Strange, his future self (sporting a black eye) uses the Eye of Agamotto.

The metal of the gun fused to one of the guards' hands begins to flow in reverse, 'un-melting' itself. The burns on his palm subsequently heal, the flesh knitting itself back together. This Strange's back is to Present Strange, meaning the latter is unable to see the effect of his diplomacy.
Evangeline      It takes the little Neuroi known as Evangeline a few minutes to arrive, having to take several gates to get here. She floats quietly into the museum looking for the offender and the guard. The only sound as she moves is a slight metallic whisper much like fingers moving along the strings of a guitar. Once she finds the sculpture room and notices the two guards she waits until Xianren's back is turned before she floats toward the guard who had the stun gun fused to his hand. She puts a finger to her...face in a 'shh' gesture, then takes hold of the gun.

There's a slight red glow as it is absorbed, then it reappears in...or is it as part of...Evangeline's hand, even though it looks like she is holding it. "...please place the sculpture on the floor gently...then exit the museum...we can discuss nice ways to obtain artwork after that..." she says in support of Doctor Strange.

    NOW...
"Hey, man, you know these days stealing art is way easier right? You can just go on google images and trace anything. Or even just change the colors a bit." Spider-Man calls out, hanging upside-down from one of the rafters. Thank god he remembered to bring his spidey-suit on the big uber-school-trip. "It's way easier than giving security guards third-degree burns. You really gotta stop that part especially, you can't do that." He drops, leaving a trail of webbing to one of the higher windows. It's practically a web-ladder, and it's meant to help the evacuation nearby.

He lands somewhere near Strange. "Hey Doc!" He says cheerfully. "Wow, is this guy magic too? It's so weird who you run into on trips. Isn't that weird, huge guy?" He turns back to Xianren. "I mean, I think it's weird." He's cautious though. Last time he showed up to a museum issue, there were... Problems. Bad ones. He sweats a little under the mask. Surely this guy won't be just as bad, right?
Solomon Roget     When Solomon hears the news broadcast on his commorb, he's busy nursing wounds from his last Multiverse fight. Bandaged shoulders and hastily-patched armor show as scars, and he's not quite fully recovered. But, the description of the pyromancer matches a certain someone he encountered back at the goblin marketplace. Solomon had earned his current injuries from another fire specialist there, a swordswoman named Jeanne, and now he'd have the chance to fight the other instigator. Probably.

Groaning somewhat, still in slight pain from getting pummeled by sword and flagstaff, Solomon picks himself up and heads on over to this London place. From the sounds of the other communal Multiverse comms, seems like he won't be the only one there. And, much to his annoyance, the lone antagonist already has a few heroic adversaries. So much for a fair fight, huh.

Solomon takes stock of the situation, thinks for a few moments, and sighs. "You know, I /was/ gonna use 'stopping you' as an excuse for a duel, Xianren, but it looks like you've got plenty of opponents already. Don't suppose you'd be open to me evening the odds if things turn lopsided?"
Thomas Alva Edison     EDI SON was actually in town on buisness, he was on his way to having a nice lunch...when then a Strange calls goes out.

    Get it?

However, as strange as the call was, Edison changed his plans. The presidental limo appears behind the group of people no doubt aiming to get a peak of what was going on. EDI SON flies over the crowd, aiming to land and immediately holding a hand out to the NYPD. He has helped before, and will help again. This time, however, Secret service robots spread out, aiming to fall into the ranks of the Police. Their goal to help protect the men and women who serve, in case things went tits up.

Edison himself walks towards the building on a mission. There were people inside that did not need to be. His first step was to find the men, and have his remaining body guards get them outside so that they can find medical care. He can let Dr. Strange handle the diplomacy first.
Tony Stark AFTER THE BREAK-IN, BEFORE NOW

Colonel James Rhodes, aka 'Rhodey', aka War Machine, was working with the latest class of hopefuls for the EU-based Enhanced Anti-Escalation Task Force, STRIKE. Most people there looked up to him, and after overcoming his automatic reputation as 'jung ho rambo american', the decorated hero and Air Force veteran got down to business.

When his helmet HUD rang up the Munich control, he was all business. "Where's the fire?"

It turns out the fire is that Munich wants SHIELD in on this party. Once more, James Rhodes has to take a knee, because he's being used to call up Tony Stark.

We're sorry, Rhodey. Some day it'll be a War Machine story.

LATER, BUT STILL BEFORE NOW...

"Mister Stark, your four PM is here."
"I have a four PM?"
"Yes, sir, the MIT alumni foundation."
"And..."
"The 'large pile of money' you were going to give them to 'solve trauma and empower young people'."
"Oh! That. I-" Stark's phone rings, and James Rhodes' helmet cam appears hovering in the air.
"Tony. There's a situation in London. STRIKE wants the Avengers to handle it."
"Yeah, and? You're an Avenger, you go handle it."
"Tony, they don't want to deal with 'collateral damage'."
Stark scoffs. "They want ME to handle collateral."
Rhodes sighs. "Basically."
"I'll be there in five."

NOW (Finally)

Outside the museum, there's a screaming missile of red and gold that streaks through the air, before angling down, flying into the large open museum doors and into the lobby where Xianren is currently being accosted by Spider-Man and Doctor Strange... Verbally.

The Iron Man MkXLIII slows itself to a thunking stop, the faceplate opening as Tony frowns towards Xianren. "Excuse me... large... sir, but you're going to have to put down the object d'arte, and step outside."

He gestures backwards, towards the open door he flew through.

"Hey, Spider-Man. Doctor." He greets, offhandedly. "I'd really rather we not all burn down another museum in a month, so if you'd like to--"

Stark stops dead. Some other guy (Solomon) shows up to... "Excuse me, what part of this is supposed to be 'fair', a nine foot tall walking statue showed up and started stealing things. Do you think the squad of MI6 agents converging on this location isn't fair, too? You poke the hornet's nest, you get the hornets."

Stark's helmet closes with a 'clunk', optics alighting pale blue as he raises a closed fist towards Xianren and Roget each. "I'll make this simple. You and your friend with the odd sense of fair play step outside, and we'll have a nice picnic instead of making everyone's day measurably worse."
Sho Fukamachi      A London Museum, one of the perfect place for sightseeing and relaxing. Hell he could probably buy some souvenirs for his friends and post pictures of some of the exhibits on his freshly created LiveJournal account with his phone! Or at least, that was the plan. After spending his allowance on an online ticket, he arrives to see the building in disarray.

"Oh please no... I spent money on this!"

Sho pushes through into the museum, squeezing by any law enforcement that'd attempt to keep him out as is his God given right as a shounen protagonist.

Good News: It's not Chronos probably

Bad News: There's an eight foot tall asshole ruining his night, stealing stuff, and hurting innocents.

"Hey! What's the big idea!? You can't just take stuff that doesn't belong to you!"

Sho states the obvious, though outside of clenching his fists he doesn't seem to be on the offensive just yet.
Xianren Xianren hears the hissing fire. He only slightly tilts his head to watch and listen, glancing at the two Doctor Stranges. A sorcerer, hm? Soon, others arrive as well, telling him that he's committing theft and to drop the statue. Xianren's expression barely changes, though he seems a little amused. Xianren speaks up over the radio a bit, and then he speaks aloud once he hears the group's answer that they'll fight him for the statue.

"I see. Unfortunately for you, I want this. And therefore, I am going to take it."

Xianren's hand moves flying out with a rapid punch, moving to strike Strange straight in the eye. It's the same one his future self has a black eye in, with enough strength to cause one easily.

And then, he pivots, moving to grab Neuroi Girl by the closest limb and send her flying at the wall closest to the door with a hard strike, before he approaches Sho and looks down at him. "If you have an issue with this, then stop me." He gives Sho a strong push, hard enough to hurt but not badly, out of his way, and then...accepts the request to move outside. He does this by throwing a punch at Tony that suddenly bursts into white fire to test his armor, and then punching into the air, space rippling and then a fist suddenly appearing in front of Edison, slamming into his chest before disappearing back through the hole in space, which collapses. It seems he's picked his opponents. "Duelist, take the others, if you so wish." And then, Xianren vanishes...

And reappears outside, statue still in hand. "If you want it, come and get it back. Know that what will come to you as a result is a consequence of your own poorly thought-out actions."
Sho Fukamachi      Sho manages to somehow stand his ground as Xianren shoves him, only bruising a tiny bit as he's knocked up against the wall. Well, honestly that's just his fault for not call out his armor first. He should probably fix that.

     "Guyver!"

Calling out the name of his alien suit, a bundle of tentacles and armor plating appear out of nowhere to wrap around Sho, fully encasing him and transforming him into the Bio-Booster Armor Guyver. Pushing himself off the wall with enough force to leave two sizable indents, Sho rushes outside towards the eight foot tall slab of pure man, fist clenched tightly into a ball as he jumps up and aims to deliver an earth shattering punch to the Exalted's face.
Solomon Roget     SIGH. Yep, this potentially fun duel has swiftly turned into a 7 vs 1 affair. And everyone in this fight looks like each is on par with the others. And the ones who aren't Xianren are really taking things far too seriously. So, Solomon begrudgingly changes his original plan and decides to /assist/ Xianren, taking some of the heat off of an extremely unfair confrontation. With the self-proclaimed king handling the lion's share of opponents, and knocking them out of the museum, Solomon focuses his attention to Spidey and Mr. Doctor Strange. This... may hurt.

After a bit of back-and-forth, Mr. Doctor Strange seems to have indicated that going all-out in the museum won't actually cause collateral damage, thanks to this as-yet unexplained Mirror Dimension, so Solomon decides to just engage right here and now. He's up against two opponents at once, so his massive sword stays sheathed; instead, he's readying a pair of focused miniature wind storms designed to pierce skin without causing the entire damned room to erupt into hurricane-force winds. There's not /too/ much force behind them, but then again Solomon's got no real idea what he's up against; best to pace himself for now, especially after he overextended in his last battle.
Evangeline      The little black creature that calls herself Evangeline is grabbed by her gun arm and thrown.

Through a wall, into the ground, and slight rumbling indicates she continued a short distance into the ground. There is another rumbling followed by a burst of dirt and rocks as she emerges in the place Stark had indicated. And...she seems to be missing her upper body. There is nothing right up to the middle of her chest, just a belly and legs floating in the air with a strange glowing red gem at its top. The gem is about the size of a softball, with what must be fourty or so facets. The light it gives off is enough to cause some to shade their eyes as it rotates in place.

A few moments later, a glowing silvery light starts to flow upward from the edges of the damaged Neuroi, following what would be her form if it were still there and leaving said form in its wake, much like paper burning in reverse. Once she is fully formed again, Evangeline tilts her head lightly. "...king...you seem more like a bully to me..." she says as she raises both arms. The flat ends where hands should be start to glow with a sinister red energy, which she builds steadily until it is an orb about the size of her torso as she flies over to float above Xianren. "...Breaker Beam..." she says softly before she fires.

A beam of energy nearly as tall as she is fires down like some kind of orbital strike, and the reason for her choosing to engage from above Xianren becomes clear as the area around where the beam hits seems to explode constantly for the several seconds she is firing.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison helps a man into the arms of his robot Secret Service agent...

Turning a bit, he is punched square in his chest, SQUARE in the HEART of AMERICA. Edison was not happy, because that had hurt more than he would like, as the man appeared outside. Very well, Edison thinks, now very upset. People were hurt, things were being stolen on account of a twisted 'sword law'. Walking towards the Exit, his hands came out, as the DC POWERED electric boxing gloves slid on.

Once outside, Thomas did not wait, his fist coming around, sparking with DC power as he aims to make good on his promise and aim for his jaw. The Lion King of America was not happy. He does not stop, immediately following the jab with a few more punches, and an attempted undercut to the side of the man's jaw. Each punch would trigger a spark from the DC powered boxing gloves, before he came into a boxing stance.

"You claim to follow a law that is both unjust, but violates the laws of this land, a land under the protection of the Paladins. You have commited a crime to America herself, reguardless of the land we reside in. Strength of rule is a out dated notion that I will banish, as well as godslings like you that try and dissuade and misdirect people. Come, man of ignorance, for I... THOMAS ALVA EDISON, KING OF INVENTORS, will give you the ELECTRIFYING DC POWERED ear boxing that your mother should have given you when you were a child."
Doctor Strange      There are perhaps two people here who aren't taking things seriously. One is a teenager and can be excused. The other is way too old to be acting this way. Xianren's punch hits Strange dead-on. The wizard didn't take the giant seriously, literally scrolling through his smartphone and singing Beach Boys songs. Not even the good ones from Pet Sounds, either. His phone goes flying out of his hand. He himself also goes flying, thrown backwards from the force of the punch with a winded, surprised 'oof.' He hits the floor and slides back with the embarrassing screech of his boots against the polished tiles, coming to a stop beneath a glass case housing an ashen mask.

When his world stops spinning, Strange gives Xianren a look of pure incredulity, shaking his head. His mouth slowly opens building to... "...OW! God, you hit me while I was singing Kokomo?! Douchebag!" With a brisk, angry movement of his hands, the bronze-gold amulet he wears opens up, bathing him in emerald light. He vanishes, traveling to the past to assist Evangeline in healing the guards.

When he reappears, Xianren is gone, leaving just him, Spider-Man, and Solomon in the museum. "Oh, come on." For a guy who's ostensibly a wizard, the kip-up he performs to get back on his feet is pretty damn nimble. Facing Solomon, Strange makes movements with his hands that resemble a martial artist's pantomime of stirring a cauldron. Gathering and weaving magical energy, the sorcerer strikes out at reality itself. The air cracks and splinters like a broken mirror.

Outside, the museum is suddenly surrounded by a dome of hovering 'shards' of splintered space, like glass floating in a snowglobe. Strange kept Stark's request--he kept /them/ in realspace. The museum? Not so much, but he's sure the English will be pretty happy about that.

Solomon is upon him. Again, he's taken off guard, having expected the sword to come out. Strange has a slender, glowing orange jian sword conjured and held at the ready, only to be surprised by a blast of magically conjured wind. He evades it, just barely, by running up the side of the nearby wall and springing off of it in a backwards push. The storm nips at his hands as he does so, introducing new cuts to the patchwork of scars already there. Like something out of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Strange turns impossibly in midair, raising the sword and pushing it outwards in a light thrusting attack.
Spider-Man     "Mister Stark! Hey, woah. you're here too? Is this, uh, really big like the last museum thing?" Spider-Man seems to think Tony is only and always about That Big Shit, which to a certain degree is true, and to a certain degree doesn't acknowledge all the time he spends doing way smaller-scale stuff like messing around with power conduits or fighting clusters of terrorist cells. Edison is also recognized! "Hey, I remember you from the parking lot!" Another situation where Spider-Man got too deep into something he wasn't entirely prepared to deal with.

"Hey! Wait, you can't just--!" Spider-Man starts, already on the move towards Xianren as he vanishes, intent on pursuing him elsewhere. That's around when Solomon curls the burst of wind into him. "WOAH!" He's immediately on his knees, sliding dramatically to avoid the piercing, even if he can't avoid the bruising. "Wait, hey! What're you /doing/? Why are you helping the giant guy? He could have killed that guy! He probably would have killed any police too!"

He leaps up into the air. His motions are less like the motions of a martial artist and more like the motions of an agile animal, flipping overhead abruptly. "Are you magic too? There's a /lot/ of magic I didn't know about!" He lashes out with sprays of webbing, intent on striking Solomon's arms and trying to limit his gestures that Spider-Man assumes(?) will limit his magic. But he also yanks him hard on the web-line, trying to rush in and start a deft series of jumping kicks off the tall man, bouncing in and out on his spider-threads!
Tony Stark Stark doesn't get much time to rip off his aimed nonlethal armaments as he's - during his banter - immediately consumed in a burst of white fire. The empyreal flames burst over the Iron Man suit, immediately causing an energetic crackle as the flames lick not directly the suit itself, but an invisible energy field as Stark brings his arms up in a cross-block...

That doesn't help. It's fire.

White-Cyan steam 'pshhhh'-es out of the shoulders and chest of the Mark 43 as Stark's arms lower. "Another king. Well, with an infinite universe, let me tell you: Kingship gets old. I personally know two dozen kings, and--"

Thomas Alva Edison, PRESIKING, does his thing. Stark actually makes a gesture towards him. "They do stuff like that. So, what I'm saying is--"

Xianren teleports away, making grand proclamations. In his helmet, Stark rolls his eyes.

"Spider-Man. Yeah, I got a call. STRIKE wanted the pocketbook handling things, not Rhodey. Go help the Wizard, do your thing, web 'em up." He suggests, aiming his palms down to take off. "Should be business as usual. We need to talk about that onesie, by the way!"

Stark flies out to intercept Xianren, hovering in the air. "Alright. I get it. You're a big guy, used to people taking orders. Used to blowing off other people's banter. That's fine."

Raising a palm, the power-up 'bweeeeEEEE' happens just a second before the repulsor blast shoots out, followed by another few shots to harry the Statue Man. Behind him, things Get Weird in the museum, ideal for Tony and the team.

"Friday, unlock Sigma Heavy Forty-three."
"In London, boss?"

"I'm done letting people walk on the Avengers. Let's let the Sigma line off the chain.

IN SPACE

A satellite detaches a large, angular set of pods and engines, dropping it through the outer atmosphere like a comet. The large thruster on the bottom begins an altitude descent control, as London airspace is invaded by the large red and gold floating accessory platform, multiple parts detaching and flying out, down through the air like a set of missiles. Iron Man rises to meet them, harrying Xianren with light blasts as he does - before armor interlocking begins happening.

A large chestpiece closes around the Mark 43's center, two legs ballistically attaching underneath. Arms strap on from the sides, each piece lighting up as they connect as the dozens of internal Arc Reactors begin cross-linking.

Landing heavily and leaving two ruts on the ground, Stark's Iron Man suit is nearly twice as high, and clearly three times as broad, an 'extra' helmet closing in over the top of the more human sized helmet as the HUD inside updates and comes on line.

"Your rights don't extend to Earth! And we don't need another tyrant!"

The massive Mark 43 Sigma Heavy suit brings up one fist in a pneumatic 'kerchunk' before pistoning forward once with a blast of steam, right for Xianren's chest-center.
Solomon Roget     Neat. A surprise attack catches the rather unique, and rather Strange, wizard off-guard. Though that's little consolation, as said wizard /also/ shows he can use a blade, charging at Solomon with a much more wieldy choice of weapon. Also, some weird mirror shit goes on with the surroundings. Huh, that must be the Mirror Dimension that Strange mentioned. So that means collateral damage is okay, right? Time to clash the blades! Solomon finally draws his sword, letting his armor tank the sword bearing down on him, and brings it to bear on Strange, casting a snare of magic vines at him for good measure in an attempt to make future attacks a bit easier. "All right, so that weird mirror warping means we can safely go all out, right? And you can use melee weapons as well as cast spells, too? I'm beginning to like your style here."

That excitement fades quickly when Spidey starts his web-slinging. "Oh COME ON!" Those webs easily gain purchase on Solomon's arms, and he can FEEL those kicks through his armor. "Cheap shot! I can do that too though!" Well, maybe not while pinned down... at least, not the kicks. Solomon's able to conjure up some rather sizeable rocks alongside EVEN MORE VINES to pelt and entangle Totally Not Peter Parker with. (Sorry, I'm running out of unique nicknames for the guy.) Although, Solomon does keep the conversation going. "Yeah, I'm magic. I can maybe show you some things afterward, if you don't hate me by then."
Xianren As Xianren appears outside, he's followed by those he attacked. Guyver comes fist forward with a jump, moving to punch Xianren straight in the face. Despite his immense size, the Sovereign nimbly pulls his head back, turning what'd be a straight-on blow into a strike to the chest. It hits and is hard, causing Xianren to slide back and move his free hand to feel his chest, but he's still standing. "Another power armor user. I was unaware they were so common around here." He turns to test the armor with his own strike, moving to grapple the Guyver's arm, yank it hard, and then strike with his elbow as Sho's face.

Neuroi Girl insults him. Xianren takes it for now, but the big blast is something he's less willing to take head on. He stomps on the ground, and there's a white glow around him as a wall from nearby suddenly is displaced, appearing floating in mid air, still rooted to part of the ground that came with it, as if it was planted there all along, despite that being spatially impossible.

The wall is, of course, horribly destroyed by the energy beam. But it mitigates it enough that when the rest impacts with Xianren, who has used it to move out of being dead-on in front of it, his robes are burnt as is parts of his bronze, smoldering and in pain, but he can keep moving. His response is to disappear in a ripple in space, leaving behind a blinking 'hole', and then reappear straight up above Neuroi Girl, foot burning with that same white fire as he moves to impact with a kick straight on top of her head.

Back on the ground, Thomas comes with a jab and undercut. His strikes ring true, slamming Xianren's face upwards, as he takes a moment to lecture the Exalt. Xianren doesn't respond as he grabs his jaw and manually twists it back into alignment, a drop of blood falling from the side of his mouth which he wipes off. Still holding the statue with one hand, carefully, he throws it high up into the air, before taking both hands to throw a flurry of blows at Edison, before moving to grab the lion-king's hair, set his hand on fire, and give him a vicious pull, hopefully burning him. He quickly teleports a step back, stopping the fire to grab the statue with one hand as it returns back down.

And then Tony gets serious. The light blasts of repulsor energy come flying forward, which Xianren either takes head on, blocking them with his arms, or teleports out of the way of the bigger ones, though the ones that hit him still hurt, as he grunts in pain. He takes a moment to rest while Tony's out of range, but then he suits up in his Sigma Heavy, and comes landing down. The piston punch comes flying to impact with Xianren's chest. For a moment, it looks like he'll take it.
Xianren Xianren's light glows brighter, and a white mark appears on his forehead. An empty circle with eight rays attached to it, glowing brightly.

Xianren moves his arms up into a block, throwing up the statue again with one. They stop the powerful punch from trying to collapse his chest, but his arms bend back, the sheer force of the punch being heavy enough to knock Xianren off his feet. He lands several feet back, something cracked in one of his arms, which he moves to again right manually, though that doesn't actually heal the wound. And then, he teleports back to grab the statue, towards Tony's armor.

"A bully. A thug. A tyrant. I take these insults because you can't possibly know who I am. I am Xianren, Sovereign of the Pinnacle. I am one of the Titanic Exalted, given power by Theion, the Empyreal Chaos, King of All."

Holding the statue under his wounded arm, Xianren's other one starts to burn even brighter. It's an empyreal bonfire, fire licking around him in a radius, as he moves to leap up and strike Tony's armor head-on, trying to burn through the metal with overwhelming heat.

"I was given power to enact my will. I do not seek chaos. I do not seek war. I seek pleasure, and experience, and to make things /excellent/. To put them in their proper place where they can be best."

His hand actually makes a noise as he makes that punch. "And you are just an automaton, an inventor, and an avenger. Show me that you're enough for me."
Doctor Strange      Strange has no verbal answer for Solomon. He doesn't even tell his allies much--so he's not going to say much of anything to someone he's actively fighting. "Hate you? Ngh. ...nah. I don't think he will," Strange says of Spider-Man, his voice slightly strained as he struggles in the vines. With his hands constricted, his options for avoiding the blow are limited at best. When Solomon swings, Strange counterattacks by charging towards him, the Cloak of Levitation doing the work for him with his legs similarly bound.

The sorcerer flies right into the sword swing, aiming to use it to cut himself free. It works--but at the cost of taking a cut himself. It's a pretty nasty-looking one. ...until it begins to stitch itself closed, and Strange's tunic along with it. A ring of emerald glyphs around his wrist turn counter-clockwise, turning back time to repair the wound. Hovering in the air above the duelist, Strange twirls the jian in a visually impressive flourish. The blade thickens and elongates in one movement, sending a crack through the air and setting off a shower of sparks.

With one swing, the Sorcerer Supreme sends a wave of fire at the ground and at Solomon, intending to burn the vines closest to him away, as well as conceal his next attack. CLANG! The sword, now a two-hander, clashes with Solomon's. Strange lands, the flames billowing out of existence, and advances on Solomon, making several further strikes against him in a whirling advance, each one backed by an element which travels up the length of the blade: ice, fire, and lightning.
Evangeline      Evangeline looks upward, then in a blink...she simply isn't there anymore. Another blink and she is down near the ground where Xianren is likely to land. "...don't do things that bullys, thugs, and tyrants would do...and no one would call you those things..." she says as that red energy builds in her arms again, this time joined by the red panels on those strange little wings on her legs.

As Tony fires repulsor energy, Xianren finds himself caught in a crossfire with more of Evangeline's red beams. This time there is eight, all focused on Xianren. Each one has much less power than the Breaker Beam, but together they still pack a decent punch and cause some explosions on impact.
Spider-Man     Magical constructs like bolas move FAST towards Spider-Man. While he can quickly evade them, they force him out of his bouncing assault, sending him flying back through the air as he urgently tries to keep himself from being battered brutally by the attack. "Gah! Woah! Hey-- It's not cheap! This isn't /sports punching/! That guy could kill a bunch of people if he keeps up what he's doing! You can't be seriously talking about fair fights like that. I don't /hate/ you, I just don't get you!" There's a sudden, unthinkably fast movement where he makes cover for himself from the oncoming vines and pebbles with a short burst of webbing that stretches on a thin ladder-like arrangement above the fight.

Then he bounces off one wall, off the ceiling, hits the webbing, and whirls around it rapidly like an acrobat a few times before he fires feet-first at Solomon, trying to hit him hard enough to stagger him, then lash a heavy chunk of webbing to the blade, trying to slam it hard enough that it either messes up much of the edge or leaves it stuck to something, whichever works. "Woah! Hey, you could hurt someone with that!" Spider-Man is, as ever, totally focused on reducing harm, not having anything approaching a duel or even a fight. That doesn't mean the hefty kick isn't /forceful/ though.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison gets into a proper box with Xianren, the two go back and forth, but he ends up on the bad side of a potient fire grab. To his credit, the servant manages to keep some control, and while he will probably feel this in the morning, he DOES make it a little less bad than if he had done nothing. Thrown back, Edison lands on his feet, and skids back as he is spoken to. "You do not seek chaos and war, and yet here you are. You seek to impose YOUR will on a world that does not recognize that. What is that, but a cause of war. You lead your people, and yet you personally come into their lands and take. That, is a decloration of war if I have ever heard one," He says, narrowing his eyes.

"You are a man, men are fallible...this is why we work together, why we build structures. Why the old sword law ways of places like the Steepe have gone to the annals of history. You, are a relic to this time and place..." he says, before electricty courses through his body, and he aims a shot towards the Exalt.

"I am Thomas Alva Edison, the light in the darkness that is chaos. The light of civilzation! There is nothing, that the light I bring can not overcome." He says, as the lighting couses from his hands, allowing that DC FLOW to try and...

    Enlighten the exalt.
Tony Stark Tony's piston punch slams in and connects with... not entirely Xianren, though striking the man is like striking Cap's shield - nearly as immovable as the man behind it. Still, connecting feels good, satisfying in a crunchy way. Stark is not above a little rush of dopamine at connecting a hit.

It doesn't last

Xianren's fire blast swooshes in with a pillar of empyrean white and the XLIII Sigma Heavy's right arm comes up, forearm out, the heavy plate opening in a few locations and raising up to deploy a glimmering barrier of repulsor energy in a loose hexagon around the arm and body like a tower shield. Still, as the heat washes over the Sigma Heavy's repulsor shield, the arm plating rapidly heats up to a cherried temperature, commencing with sparking, popping, and smoking.

"Right bracer shield at thirty percent. System overheating."
Bringing the shield up to an angle, the massive jet boosters on the back of the massive suit roar to life, bringing the lumbering suit closer through the flame.

"Right bracer at ten percent."
"I can see it, you don't have to read it out!" Tony snaps back, eyes flickering between the individual energy reserves of the suit's multiple component reactors and the shield quickly burning out in his right arm.

Finishing his close under the covering fire of Evangeline, the XLIII Sigma Heavy's lumbering advancement comes in time with Xianren's taunting challenge - and his offer to make an apology before the pillar of a man.

"Hard pass. I'm Tony Stark - and you're a long way from home."

The shield gives out with a flickering 'bzzzznn' as Iron Man finishes his jet-boosted charge, tackling into Xianren with a heaving mecha-elbow. The jets under the Sigma's right boot scream to life as he sends that into the god-King's chest, the broader suit leveraging sheer mass and weight with burning rocket boosters to slug away at Xianren while he's holding the Statue. Something had to give!
Solomon Roget     Now that's just a colossal let-down. Solomon's met a fellow fighter-mage, proficient in casting various elemental magics as well as conducting basic swordplay, and yet the atmosphere is far too serious for this. There's so many questions Solomon wants to ask: how the cloak works, how Strange heals himself, what those weird glyphs are. How he turned a light sword into a heavy one.

That last question gives way to "how do I defend against it" as Strange's two-hander clashes against Solomon's, dealing a punishing blow with each strike. Solomon's guard is effective in that he doesn't lose an arm from the assault, but that's about it - the sheer collective force of the blows, combined with the added elemental assault, leaves its mark. Solomon just grits his teeth and--

--gets kicked /again/, slightly knocking the wind out of him and interrupting that thing he was going to say. Dammit Spider-Man. Solomon's sword has been dislodged as well, and his vines are quickly failing. Between Strange's maneuvering and Spidey's superior string-slinging, Solomon's gotta think of something /quick/. He tries flinging a few rapid-fire spells at the web-slinger: air, water, earth, fire, repeat, in quick rotation. Not too much, just enough to keep him on his toes. For Strange, however, Solomon's doing his damnedest to make damage stick. He brings the full power of his elemental spells to bear on the not-so-fellow sorceror, throwing in more vines for an added thing for Strange to deal with.
Sho Fukamachi      The Guyver finds its arm grabbed and yank before being striked square in the face with a muscular elbow. Thankfully whatever the suit is made of is able to take the brunt of the blow pretty damn well, but the force of the impact leaves them a bit stunned as they fall to the ground in a daze.

"Ow. Well, that's never happened before."

Sho mumbles and complains as he picks himself up the ground, an armored hand the side of his hand as he gathers himself. He's never gone against an opponent that actually was able to hurt him, and even though he wasn't dumb enough to think he was invincible, he was never the less SLIGHTLY concerned.

Concerns about his personal safety can take a back seat though, as its time for round two. Breaking out into a full sprint the Guyver runs up behind Tony's Mark 43 Sigma Heavy Suit (tm) and grabs unto it, using his massive alien strength to hoist himself unto the giant machine's back.

"Wait, what the hell am I doing?"

There's a brief moment where the High Schooler ponders on if what he's doing is actually a good idea, but given he's already halfway committed, he might as well follow through all the way.

Sho jumps off the massive power armor towards Xianren, bringing his right arm down at the massive man's as the blade on his elbow vibrates and increases in size.
Doctor Strange      Vines once again cling to him, slowing his speed. It'll be hard for him to evade it. ...but, he's the Sorcerer Supreme. Why evade it when he can just... move everything else?

Strange faces Solomon's assault head-on. At first, it looks like suicide. Then, Strange just... moves his hand, as if turning a page in a book. The interior of the museum shifts like a kid dropping his lunchbox down a hill, suddenly turning on its side. The magic flies past Strange, who somehow manages to keep his footing, glued to the ground despite the ground becoming the ceiling. All of the exhibits, paintings and sculptures remain, as if gravity had only changed for Solomon and Spidey.

The walls of the building break apart, to reveal thousands of repeating, mirrored images of the place's interior, repeating endlessly into one another. The ground upon which Solomon stands, formerly a wall, folds beneath his feet, changing his footing from a rectangle to a triangle to a circle, elevated dozens of feet into the air and becoming an isolated platform with a troublesome drop.

Strange, too, has such a platform, though his is different in one notable way.

It flies. Speeding around on a hovering disk of museum floor made into an elaborate mosaic, Strange fires rays of crystallized, explosive energy at Solomon, each one making odd chiming noises like carbon diamonds growing at high speed. Slow moving orbs of burning light enter the mix alongside sickly green cones of translucent energy, creating a bullet hell for his opponent to dodge atop the perilous platform.
Spider-Man     "Woah! You've got a lot on the menu here. I always thought it was supposed to be a bit themed! How do you have so much of this on-call, man?" Spidey bounds around, trying to evade the painful strikes. He can only do so much when they burst near him, but at least it turns a brutal burning, blasting, and battering into more close calls than a direct hit. Then, abruptly, everything shifts. Spider-Man's entire suite of high-tuned senses goes crazy, filling him with fast awareness that keen spider-instincts have to catch up with before his mind can realize how impossible things are.

"Woahohoah! Doc, this is /amazing/!" He calls out, goggle-lenses wide with amazement. He surges up and up towards the ceiling, trying to land on it and then accentuate what Strange is going for. He maakes a quick gesture, ejecting the webbing-fluid cartridges on his wrists and reloading them fast, before unloading right at... Solomon's platform! To create a sticky hazard to minimize his motion, and make it tougher to evade that bullet hell. "Sheesh! Didn't your mom ever teach you that a visit with the doctor always goes faster if you just stop moving so much?" Then, like a pendulum, he swings from above like a heave pendulum, trying to punch and kick at Solomon in the small gaps of his bullet hell.
Xianren Neuroi Girl disappears and avoids Xianren's attack. So when she counters with an array of eight red beams, he does the same. He weaves in and out of each one, teleporting between them, before teleporting up to Neuroi Girl and moving to give her a strong strike with his free hand, trying to smash through her defenses by putting more effort into it. He glows even brighter as a result...

And Edison then fires a shot of lightning at Xianren. He burns his arms and bring them up into a block, before surging forward, moving to throw two punches - one in front of Edison, and the other landing behind him through spatial manipulation, forcing him to either pull into one or try and pull to the side to avoid both. "I was not chosen to be a relic. I was not chosen because I am fallible. I was chosen..."

"Because I am /excellent/."

Tony's refusal gets a glance from Xianren, who rallies against his strike. The rocket boosted elbow slams straight into his chest, sending him flying back and possibly cracking something in the Exalt's muscular body. To prevent the statue from breaking, he throws it backwards, and allows Tony to keep pushing him back for a few seconds until he suddenly blinks away again, into mid-air, catching the statue and tumbling to the ground with it safely in his hands. Now behind Tony's armor, he's about to move to move to attack him, when the Guyver comes charging forward with an empowered elbow. The blade comes slicing forward, and Xianren raises his shoulder to block it. The blade slices into him, finally drawing blood in this battle, but it's a shallow wound, not one that'll completely cripple him.

And then, Xianren leaps up, moving to kick off of Sho's head with a hard stomp, and then leap up towards the top of the Sigma Heavy armor Tony's wearing. His foot wreathes with more of that white fire, as he moves to try and crush into the helmet below him, holding the statue up tightly. He's not letting it break under any circumstances, it seems.
Thomas Alva Edison     This time, Edison see's the punch coming. His hands block, preventing himself from so easily being overpowered this time around. The strike is still there, drawing blood as it strikes. However, Eidson is not backing down from this, his eyes narrowing as the Exalt declares himself excellent.

Edison, spitting out some blood, returns the favor...this time aiming to wrap the other man in a bearhug...and try and gain control of a throw. Trying to pulling him UP and off of the ground, using his size and strength to try and make the impossible happen...trying to lift the man STRAIGHT up into the sky, before he comes crashing backdown. Flashes of electrical energy flow out of everywhere as he attempts to unleash a DC powered SUPLEX into the hard ground.

Leaping back to his feet, he rumbles. "I did not become a heroic spirit because I was chosen, I became one because I changed history for the better. My actions still have effects until this day. What will they say of you when you are gone, I wonder? A tyrant who put his own desires before all others, or a king who ruled justly and put the kingdom and it's stability before himself? Your legacy is the one you will live with."
Solomon Roget     Right about now, Solomon's realizing that trying to balance out a serious fight was a massively horrendous idea. He's basically a punching bag for all of these attacks... and his usual modus operandi of hitting things REALLY HARD is doing nothing but wearing him out, since he's up against two wall-walkers who just keep evading all his attacks while shellacking him repeatedly. With things like crystal-energy bullet hell. And webs pinning him down to the shitty platform he's left standing on. And MORE GODDAMN SPIDER-KICKS LIKE COME ON. Well, at least he can still face-tank everything for now. It gives him a bit of time to collect his thoughts, prepare to AIM PROPERLY for once in this fight, and gather his strength.

In this case, it's magical strength. He's bringing everything to bear on Doctor Strange, in a last-ditch effort to land a decisive blow. It's another multi-element attack, combining those four basic elements of air, earth, water, and fire in one big spellslingin' pain train, drawing from every last bit of energy Solomon's got left. It's a relatively slow attack, but even with the telegraphing, Solomon knows how to aim this; he's just taking stock of how this Mirror Dimension works, and how Strange has been moving, before launching his attack. Yeah, Solomon's probably gonna lose, but maybe he can leave a dent on the way out. He's completely disregarded Spider-Man at this point... although Spidey might still catch collateral damage from Solomon's overloaded attack.
Evangeline      Xianren manages to avoid her every shot, which is a bit unfortunate. Major Sakamoto is going to make Evangeline practice for a full day after this.

As that punch comes in, Evangeline holds up a hand and a translucent shell of blue hexagons forms around her. The punch impacts and several of those hexagons shatter before the punch impacts Evangeline herself, shattering her arm into slivers of black crystal that then disintegrates into pink-white powder. It starts to reform a few moments later, but until it does Evangeline has only one arm to work with.

Xianren's attack on the two heavy armor suits looks pretty powerful, but there's something that Evangeline notices. Xianren actually defends the statue through it all. Can she take advantage of that somehow? She's not sure, but she can advise her allies about it at least.

With Xianren standing atop the Sigma Heavy suit, Evangeline flies right up to him and tries to grab ahold of the statue with her good arm. The panels on her legs light up again.

"...let go...it will get broken if you keep holding it..." she says in her soft voice, then...fires several beams right at Xianren's face to try and inspire him to comply. "...and I am not a robot..."
Sho Fukamachi      First blood! Well, first literal actual blood. Xianren actually got first blood after shoving everyone around initially. After slicing into the Exalted's arm, the Guyver lightly kicks off of them before landing a few feet away.

The arm blade stops vibrating, returning to its original size as the alien suit places a hand on one of its chest panels. There's an audible 'squelch' noise as the fingers dig between the gap in the armor's defined pecs. This is going on a bit too long, perhaps if they use THAT he could end it all now, or at the very least deter the thief from continuing.

Doing THAT would cause A LOT of collateral damage though, not to mention the possibility of it hurting potential innocent bystanders if it's dodged or misses. Well, maybe if they just uses half of its power, or maybe if...

Sho's hesitating to Use The Thing results in Xianren attempting to goomba stomp their head.

"Can you please aim somewhere else, like holy moly!

Letting go of their breast, the Guyver raises both its hands to catch Xianren's feet and stop their head from taking his full weight . Sho's arms making uncomfortable snapping noises and his legs buckle under the impact of the giant man's stomp attack, but he manages to handle it pretty well.

Giving their arms a moment to heal, they quickly turn around to fire a head beam at the Titanic Exalted's back. It's not very powerful, but it's quick, accurate, efficient, and it still probably stings just a little.
Doctor Strange      "Trade secret," says Strange to Spider-Man. Being an arrogant wizard, he naturally assumes that anyone impressed at nearby magic is impressed at /his./ Spidey could be referring to Solomon's, but... c'mon. Sorcerer Supreme.

When Solomon winds up for another magical haymaker, Strange is ready. The vines still restrict his movement, making conventional evasion difficult. The doctor's sorcery is, however, anything but conventional. The air is suddenly full of illusory Stranges upon illusory platforms, any one of which could be the real one thanks to a visually confusing moment wherein they all switch places like a magical shell game.

The mystic onslaught from Solomon strikes many of them, dispersing each Strange-and-Platform Pair into clouds of orange sparks which wink out shortly thereafter. Even so, the real Strange remains unharmed, hidden somewhere within the crowd of fakes, each one making his own flight path and cluttering the air with fake attacks. They're all very flashy, unique rays, beams, bolts and cones of multicolored energy, some even leaving fake scorch marks upon the pillar.

The real attack actually comes from Solomon.

Amidst all the visual chaos, a portal opens, redirecting the tail end of Solomon's brute magical assault right back at him. Air, earth, water, and fire, in greatly reduced quantities, fly through a portal which opens below and in front of him. The caboose of the aforementioned pain train. The danger isn't the size of the attack, but the fact that it takes up valuable space on his already perilous platform.
Tony Stark Hitting Xianren continued to be like connecting with a solid wall, but this had become a slugging match minutes ago, and most of what the Mark XLIII Sigma Heavy was doing for Stark was evening the battlefield in height and mass. Pummeling each other, however, was tilted slightly towards the red and gold, thanks to the help from Thomas Edison and Evangeline.

Aiming a two-fisted down-smash to Xianren's head, Stark is ramped off of by the Guyver, causing Stark to react with hesitation for a moment - long enough for Xianren to disappear. Tracking him while lumbering around, the Sigma Heavy lifts up on jets as it spins, bringing to bear a palm blaster -- and laser through a nearby car.

"Where did he go?!"
The thunk of two heavy feet on his twice-armored head answers that question. As Xianren brings his foot down, though, to potentially cause PERMANENT BRAIN DAMAGE to the poor Genius (billionaire playboy philanthropist), Stark leans forward, tumbling and, somehow, rolling with some agility away from the strike in a thunk-kerhunk-crunch of asphalt and shoulder as he slides across the ground.

"So you're a teleporting, eight-and-change feet tall god-king. Alright. Glad we know the score. You know, stepping on people is rude. Very unkingly."

The statement hangs in the air.

"Ok, scratch that last one."
Levelling both hands, the whirr-up a deep baritone of multiple reactor spin-ups as the palms belch not discrete blasts, but twinned heavy beams of surging amber energy.
Spider-Man     The heavy windup and the heavier blast wind up making a heavy attack against Strange, but Peter, ironically has a harder time with it. He doesn't understand or comprehend his own abilities, but if he did, he might realize that his intuitive sense for danger depends at least a little bit on reading the intentions and behaviors of his foe. His fine-tuned senses can sense conventional, nonmagical dangers, certainly. His fine-tuned senses can sense telltale signs of incoming hostility in motions and expressions and heart-rates and breathing, sure. But when someone strikes him unconventionally and /accidentally/ it's ironically one of the more difficult things to dodge.

Spider-Man finds this out right now, as a wave of elemental energy lashes across his body. A stray shockwave of power from the heavy barrage of spells, one that normally would hardly be worth noting, lances around him. "Augh! I thought that was just /flavor/! How much energy are you even working with?! This stuff does /not/ obey conservation of energy." He calls out, swinging around below Solomon. He has to hold there, recovering for a moment, but he keeps a pair of strands attached to the top of the ledge, which gives him the tension and stretch he needs to pull down, down, down... And then release, firing up like a bullet. He's going for a big heavy uppercut strike while Solomon is busy getting battered by the redirected magic!
Xianren Edison moves to grab and slam Xianren off the ground. It's a little difficult, because he's heavy, but it works, suplexing him. Xianren cradles the statue so it doesn't break, though it nearly does, and as the two leap back to their feet, Xianren is worse for wear, bruised and battered. "My spirit is immortal. It will live on until the end of time." He kicks off the ground, surging into the air and down into a falling kick into Edison, moving to try and grab the lion-man with his legs around the neck and slam him into the ground, before surging backwards.

To Sho's immense benefit, Xianren doesn't move to hit him in the head again when he fires the head-beam. No, instead, as the laser-beam stings against his chest, melting further through his clothing and burning him further, Xianren pushes forward, moving to ram and headbutt that bald head straight into Sho's chest, which will hurt more than it looks, and be less dangerous for Xianren as it seems as well. He's just looking to bludgeon the kid further.

And then, two heavy beams of amber energy come surging out of those hands, slamming into Xianren's chest when he turns towards the reactor spin-up noises. They further burn away his clothing, and burn marks into his chest. They won't scar, but they sure as hell hurt, as Xianren's face turns further and further into frustration. The Exalt moves to rush forward, leap up, and throw a powerful punch straight into the mecha's chest. And then again. And then again. It's a single fist, but it's still a flurry, as he throws superhuman punches over and over again trying to crack the shell of that armor.

Neuroi Girl moves to grab the statue. She fires at Xianren to grab it. He realizes that almost immediately, as he grits and moves his other arm up to deflect the blasts from hitting center onto his face, using his other hand to grip the statue tightly. His arm scalds and burns, revealing marks that will need to heal, before he reaches out for the statue with both hands and pulls it back. If Neuroi Girl doesn't let go or isn't forced to drop it, it'll break. And that might have consequences. He tries to make her drop it with his own blast, as he slams his head forward, a ripple of space coming out of that headbutt to blast her backwards.
Evangeline      Xianren pulls hard...and Evangeline's arm just snaps off below the elbow. She sits there in mid-air a few moments, then turns her head slowly to look at her new stub of arm. The rest of the arm itself is still attached to the statue, but after a few moments it starts to crack before shattering and finally disintegrating into the same pink-white powder as her other arm.

It doesn't take long to regenerate though, and now with two complete arms again (albeit with noticable cracks along their length from the stress of regenerating so much) Evangeline floats upward, and that angry red glow returns to the ends of her arms. Once again it grows, then forms into a single orb of energy in front of her. But unlike last time, this time the orb grows until it is taller than Evangeline herself.

Aiming as directly downward as she can manage on such a slippery target, Evangeline's intent should be clear to her allies. Hopefully they will move before she unleashes her Breaker Beam. A constant stream of explosive red energy lances down from on high, carving deep into the ground around Xianren and hopefully carving quite a bit into Xianren himself. When the flow of energy finally tapers off Evangeline starts to lose altitude, looking pretty drained.
Solomon Roget     Punches, kicks, non-Euclidean geometry, and his own spells have all converged on Solomon. It's too much for him, and he waves the white flag. Metaphorically. Not-fully-healed wounds from his last tough battle are starting to open up from all this effort, so he offers a surrender, which he is glad to see accepted. He's got new wounds to patch up, and the last thing he needs is to get walloped /even more/. Seems like his opponents weren't too happy about being dragged into a fight, at any rate.

When Doctor Strange offers safe passage for Solomon to get back to Gielinor, he jumps on the opportunity. This was definitely a loss for him, he's got some injuries to patch up, and he's got some re-tooling of his loadout to consider. Sword's too big? Armor's probably fine though.
Sho Fukamachi      Sho regains the feeling in their arms again just in time for Xianren to slam his big bald head against their chest. The Exalted at this point would probably realize by feel that the armor he's wearing isn't actually made of metal or synthetic material, but rather is completely organic...but he probably already deduced that just by looking at it and grabbing it several times already. But now he TOTALLY FACTUALLY ONE HUNDRED PERCENT KNOWS.

The Guyver falls takes a few steps back from the sheer force of the blow, almost toppling over but somehow managing to regain its balance just in time.

"All right. Everyone steer clear, I'm using the Mega Smasher!"

Not even bothering to clarify what the hell the Mega Smasher is, the Guyver brings both hands up to his breasts, wedging its fingers between the gap in pectoral region once more as he begins pulling and tugging.

Struggling a bit and nearly falling to one knee several times, the Guyver finally manages to rip open its chestal region. Pink goop and slime drip from the exposed section, revealing a pair of glowing transparent orbs.

"OUT OF THE WAY! LAST WARNING!"

The orbs begin glowing brighter and brighter, expanding in size before letting out an extremely wide and powerful blast of pure blue concentrated energy, the beam tearing up and scorching the ground underneath as it makes its way towards Xianren.
Thomas Alva Edison     The legs grab the Presiking by the head, dragging him to the ground and smashing him straight up, facing the sky. Well. He knew that while he had potential years of experience with all of his forms of combat and electrical fighting stuff, he wasn't /A Wrestler/ or warrior. In the end he is a genius...a statesman...more a leader than a general. Still, pushed as he is, he grits his teeth, Even though his neck hurts...determination wells deep inside of him, as he pushes himself to his feet.

Breathing slowly, his eyes focus on the man again, even as he charges around the battlefield. "As will mine. However, not because of the god you claim to be, but because of my deeds. People will spread to the stars themselves, securing humanity's place in the universe. That is the world I made happen. It is time to show you /HOW/ I made that happen.."

Edison holds a hand up, channeling that power, the very essence of his being. The thing that /defined/ an era, that shaped human history. The power overflows from him...and then everything goes dark.

Only for a light to appear again, a brilliant spotlight over the square, shining down on it all.

Edison appears again, but this time behind him the sign

EDI
SON
20th Century Emancipator

With a mighty roar, the flash of light comes, shining over everything. The light of progress, the light of modern man. The light that shines on the mysteries themselves, revealing their truths for all to bear witness. To observe even gods, and tear them down from their celestial trappings and make them understandable. Divine things will feel their mortality restored in Edison's light, magic that he does not allow will be far more mute...and the light of Edison's attack will wash to try and hurt Xianren in a way he might not be used to.

    "NOW MISTER STARK!"
Tony Stark Over and over again, Tony is battered back, each crunching thunk to the massive chest-plates on the Sigma Suit leaving detailed knuckle-dents in the reinforced gold-titanium alloy.

And another dent.
And another dent.
And another dent

It keeps going, the flurry of blows causing Tony to take thunderous step back. And another.

Then he begins to meet the force, the large back boosters roaring to life, holding him in place as he struggles against the strikes, bringing the two huge mitts of the Sigma Suit together on Xianren, not to blast him, but to crush him momentarily, before throwing him bodily away - the most expedient method to get him at range, right at a large water-feature fountain.

Stark exhales a single breath. "Damage report."
"Armor integrity holding. Right arm barrier reduced to eight percent. Chest plating compromised - mobility unhindered."
"He's not going to stop until I wipe that ego off his face."
"Or he does the same to you?"
"Really don't want to hear it right now, Friday. Does this platform have special sauce?"
"The current engagement platform is the most recent one, yes."
"Gimmie."

Above, the hovering platform disgorges nearly half the remaining modules, a number of small missiles landing in a broad arc off behind Xianren, and engaging with a 'soccer net' of energy, a sort of back court defense catch. The next largest set of the modules releases a set of containment pins and platings, moving in to secure a large harness around the Mark XLIII Sigma Heavy, extra cabling and stabilization spikes locking into place over the legs, before the pitons extend with a KER-CHUNk into the shattered asphalt.

"Stabilizers set." Friday notes.

The largest of the modules hovers down next to the right arm of the Sigma Suit, the bracing side-platings of the module falling away, to reveal a giant... armature. At the end, a nozzle filled with dozens of emitters, which begin to warm up with an azure light.

"Set dissipation distance to my mark."
"Dissipation distance set."
"Ramp up reactors one through twenty-two and divert power to armature system."
"Power levels, all green."
The large cannon whirrs, small flaps and adjusters inside extending some emitters, concaving the whole array like an eye narrowing.
"Energy limiter disabled. Firing solution locked in."
"It's time for the big one!"
"Proton Cannon, ready to fire."

The whole sky darkens - rather, the iris of the massive weapon array glows with a blinding light that channels into a massive sphere.

"This is what Earth's got. We don't need a Sovreign."

The cannon fires, a titanic wave of energy yet larger then the already massive weapon-array strapped to the ALREADY suit-on-top-of-a-suit. Asphalt turns magmatic under it, and the backfield behind it surges with power to contain the backwash from the annihilatory beam.
Doctor Strange      Strange creates a portal to Lumbridge for Solomon.

That just leaves Spider-Man. He figures the hitters they've already got can at least get an Exalt to leave, and the kid (as everyone Strange's age seems to call him) around would just be too dangerous. Per the younger hero's radio request, the Sorcerer Supreme lowers the pillar upon which he stands, carving a hole into reality that's reasonably within Spidey's ability to cross through. It leads to an alley a few miles east of their current location. "Oh, yeah," says Strange casually.

"In case I don't see you before Spring, Merry Christmas." He makes a shaky, trembling finger-gun, then turns his attention to the space surrounding the museum. Up to this point, anyone looking at the bubble from the outside would see the museum just as it was before. Now, however, that begins to change. The ground which surrounds it, and the concrete walkways, begin to rise, slide and shift into new and unusual positions.

An earthen dome swallows the museum hole, reinforced with bones of concrete and laid over once more with packed earth for good measure. Now, where there was a museum, there is a dome of dark, loamy earth, with a thin film of shimmering, broken reality laid atop it. That should (hopefully) protect at least the museum from the numerous displays of destructive force outside. Anything outside the dome, though...

Well, he might have his work cut out for him by the end of this.
Xianren Everyone ramps up for their strongest attacks. Neuroi Girl is first, firing off a pwoerful Breaker Beam. It blasts into Xienren, tearing up the last shreds of his top-robe, revealing his burnt muscles fully underneath as he skids back from the sheer force of the impact, clutching the statue tightly to prevent it from being fried in the process.

And then Sho and the Guyver fire a massive blast of blue energy. Xianren teleports upwards, tossing the statue up, but the blast still impacts with his legs, burning them and parts of his bottom-robe, causing him to fall to a knee. He's scathed and covered in marks, especially when Edison fires off World Faith DOmination. The light shines on him and weakens Xianren, being a person who has divine power flowing through him, and his fire and aura flowing around him start to die down. It weakens and hurts him, and sets up for a massive blast from Tony.

As the armature is created, from module after module, Xianren realizes what's going to happen. He snaps his fingers to create a small portal to throw the statue through. It doesn't work, at first, due to World Faith Domination. He does it again, right as the blast is coming for him. It needs to hit...

He throws the statue through a portal, sending it hurtling high into the air, far above everyone. At that same moment, the Proton Cannon hits. Xianren is engulfed, sent flying back through the statue and even further back through the square, before he impacts with a building wall after the beam dies downs. There's rubble around him, he's scorched, burnt, and will need medical attention (though it's not super serious), but...

Xianren's alive. And he can stand, as he lifts himself. As the statue falls back to the ground, Xianren charges forward as fast as his body will take him, and again, he grabs it. His eye is always on the prize. He could retaliate now, while everyone is weak after firing off their final blasts. But to be honest...he's feeling it too.

And so, Xianren lifts his head to the sky, and actually smiles, lightly. "Ah...you are worthy foes. Very well, I will leave now. If I return, I do hope it's peaceful. You are quite interesting individuals."

And then, Xianren moves to leave the area with the statue. As soon as he's outside of World Faith Domination, he'll teleport away. And he'll do so knowing he can't mess with this Earth so trivially.
Spider-Man     With everything settled, Spider-Man lands on the ceiling not for any reason of terrain limits, but just because that's where it feels most comfortable to nurse his wounds right now. Pressing an arm against the bruises and burns, he takes a bit of private time to let the adrenaline work out of his system and to feel the surprisingly intense pain. It's also a convenient time to have a long, long listen at what's going on outside this area and this dimension. Yeah, that's a bit crazy out there.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah. Seeya, Doctor Strange! Have a merry one." Spider-Man says in a nervous but friendly way, leaping down from the ceiling acrobatically into a spidery crouch, and then just sort of walking out of the rift. He heads through as quick as he can... Then pops his head back out. "Wait, hold on. 'Wizard' isn't a religion? You guys celebrate Christmas too? I always thought you celebrated, uh..." He pauses for a very long time, putting up a finger. His goggle lenses visibly shift around in contemplative expressivity. "...I don't actually know. Well, uh, yeah, merry Christmas!" And then he's zipped back out. Gotta get back to the crappy hotel his school barely managed to book for this extracurricular trip.
Evangeline      "...hey...you can't..." And then he's gone. "...take that..." Evangeline stares at the spot Xianren occupied a few moments ago, then looks toward the big hole where her beam hit, then toward Edison and Iron Man. "...do we pursue...?" she asks in that quiet voice of hers as she floats back down toward the ground. "...I might be able to catch him with my own teleportation..." she adds before looking at the two mecha and the machine king. "...are you guys alright...? ...I am sorry I was not more help..."
Thomas Alva Edison     "You would likely do more harm than good at this point." Eidson says, as the WFD fades. Taking a breath, he did not like that man still getting away with the artifact, but at this point...they were all stretched to the point of danger. While he was likely down, there was no assurance they could stop him before he reached either allies or a gate...and a running battle through a city would likely cause a lot more trouble than it was worth. Instead they would need a plan.

"I would recommend rest and a doctor. Or repairs."
Sho Fukamachi      As the beam dissipates, the Guyver closes the armor platings it just ripped open back against its exposed chest, the suit instantly healing them back into place. Steam blows out of the mouth vents for no discernible reason before the suit rips itself off of Sho. The now empty Guyver armor floats behind the high schooler for a bit, before ultimately sinking into the Earth below. Or at least it appears to do that, anyone who's crazy enough to dig the area at where it disappeared would find absolutely nothing.

"Well, this is great. What am I suppose to tell Mizuki and Tetsuro now? That some giant dude appeared and ruined the whole exhibit?"

Sho still seems to be slightly miffed about his whole trip being ruined, but he quickly gets over it.

"Well, uh, at least nothing super bad happened, ignoring the statue being stolen."
Tony Stark Tony's assault dissipates, and the target is...

Still alive.

Well, that wasn't expected. The smoking armature of the Proton Cannon begins venting heat in earnest, the entire suit having significantly dimmed in all its 'running lights'. The super-helmet pops open, and then the chest plate, and Iron Man steps - unsteadily - out, the Sigma Heavy suit closing up behind him and beginning to detach the Proton Cannon assembly. Edison recommends medical treatment, but Tony raises a hand. "I've got to see to the bill, first. And... Don't worry, Kid. Your friends are probably fine."

There's a lingering pain in his chest that Tony ignores. "Our wizard friend handled that. Spider-Man too. Both have a pretty stellar record."
