Spider-Man     Aaron Davis provided two addresses to the Paladins, one of which was this. And the Watch managed to extract the same one from the strange mind of Tombstone. Sadly, the storm hasn't made it any easier to get there. The city's still working, but the intermittent blizzard has really started to pile up. Oddly... somehow, Spider-Man himself actually wound up here. Considering he had neither an informant nor a psychic, how he got here is something of a mystery. He's got more winter layers too, but thank goodness he has that mask on all the time anyway or his lips would freeze off.

He's prowling around the roofs a bit, trying to figure out a good time and place to slip in. The garage (why are so many of Tombstone's illegal sites garages?) is moderately active. Noises of machinework can still be heard despite the snow shutting down many shops, and every hour or two another truck pushes its way painfully through the snow to deliver crates of parts to the garage, while no cars leave. Something is afoot. What's he building in there? What's clear is that the activity level is going to make a traditional stealth approach null and void; while an infiltration might work, doing any practical investigation will need to turn it from a sneaking mission right into a bust, so be snappy.

Davis' testimony is well enough to get the rights to raid the site, though Tombstone himself is presumably at some other distant area of the city, isn't he? While Hammerhead made bail, he's under surveillance, so he's not here, that's for sure. There's a back lot with lots of tarp-covered shapes and workers, and a main garage entrance there. There's also a front door through the main customer area. Side-entrances dot the structure. It's also quite vertical, so one of the many upper floors that are no-doubt used for various living space might give one a way in. Spidey is currently looking around the back, from several high-up rooftops piled with snow.
Ryouma Sakamoto     Ryouma, unlike Oryou, must wear an extra layer to put up with the blizzard. And so, over the white uniform is a thick blue coat, also belonging to the Japanese navy. Oryou, for her part, seems to have matched this by wearing a thicker school blazer than usual. It's not a big change.

Reaching the garage leaves open the question of how to get in and how quickly to blow their cover. This question is not taken into consideration by Oryou at all.

"Oryou has a plan," she says.
    "Ah, Oryou, no!" Ryouma whines.
"ORYOU IS NOT ART!" Oryou screams.

Oryou's fist swings for the front garage door.
It's enough force to not only rip it off its hinges but send it flying like a deadly projectile across the interior.
Orchid      The whole idea of drugs that grant magical abilities strikes Orchid as strange. Does it happen when they are taken? Or is there some biological reaction that needs to happen to trigger them? But if there isn't why aren't the bottles experiencing the effect? But how does she know they're not?

In any case, Orchid is along for the mission, in a support role. That means sending out her drones to create a perimeter. In the process, her web-crawlers spot the local web-crawler, pausing to wave.

And while Orchid wouldn't choose Oryou's method of gaining entry, she can't really complain much. A couple of drones follow the Snake-Wife in, crawling over the walls. They're set up for maximum record, Orchid won't try and make sense of everything until later.
Ryu     Ryu shows up. It's abrupt and flashy, and it kicks up a lot of snow. A blur of silvery scales blasts through another of the doors, sending the metal panel flying wildly out into the room he's making his violent entrance into. And he picks the nearest mooks and begins swiping claws, headbutting, biting and whipping his tail in a speedy little maelstrom of pain and violence. He may have been inspired by Oryou's very direct approach. He isn't even overly concerned about whether he'll kill anyone, though he's not specifically going for kill shots.
Tony Stark "How do super-criminals - can't believe I said that and referred to real life - make bail?"
"Bail bondsman lobbyists, actually. The protections are very strong."
"Well, that's..." Tony Stark begins, tangibly ready to launch into a quick rant, before a gentle cant of his helmeted head, and a quick blink-blink. "... That tracks, yeah."

"Alright, everyone. NYPD just greenlit this little quinceanera so we're going to bust in and secure any data or evidence we can on the magic drugs and the greater crime ring. Bit players don't count except for bonus points."

Clad in a mottled grey-and-white arctic stealth camouflage pattern, the Iron Man suit Tony pilots has a mostly-dark chestplate iris and matte faceplate with dim running lights. Stealth capabilities in delicate local situations was paramount, and even if the retro-reflective plating wouldn't help in a blizzard this thick, an ounce of prevention was always called for when your business was keeping the world safe.

"Tactical readout?" Stark asks, panning his visor over the garage's front a his own advanced sensors populated the interior through the walls.
"Coming in now. The storm is throwing readings."
"Clean it up an-" Tony begins, readying himself as... Oryou bursts through the front door.

"Guess we're doing it live. Time to work for a living, folks. Ryouma, can you... gently contain your very pretty wife?" Stark asks, moving in after Oryou with repulsors humming up as he drops to the street and then inside.

"Let Orchid handle the tactial net - find me those exoenergy signatures."
"Will do."
Doctor Strange      The Looming Eye of Ling Fen is a tricky spell--it's incredibly useful for seeing things. It's also bright orange and clearly in the shape of an eye, right down to the pupil, which moves around... clearly looking at things. It can, at least, be placed in unusual locations. Glowing in the air above the warehouse is a bright orange glyph in the shape of an eye. If any of the guys driving into the warehouse, or unloading all those crates, or any of Tombstones guards look up, well... the jig might be up, even with the snowstorm.

"You know," says Doctor Strange, abruptly popping his head out of another dimension, right in front of Spider-Man. It is in FLAGRANT violation of Stealth Mission Etiquette. "It's a good thing this tunic was made for the mountains, 'cause..." He gives a dry chuckle. "I'm kinda chilly." This is an understatement. This storm blows. Having potentially jeopardized this being a stealth mission, he steps fully out, to join Spidey on the rooftop. He begins cutting a hole in reality with his Sling Ring.

The Looming Eye, meanwhile, begins floating through the storm, looking for an entrance into the spot where something is possibly being built. "Anyway. I already don't like these guys, so. In we go." Utterly confident in everyone's, or at least, his, ability to tackle anything without foreknowledge a stealthier approach might give, attempts to create a portal. His efforts are /considerably/ faster now that the shouting and destruction of property are ringing up through the air.

"Droppin' a portal," he announces over the Paladin tactical comms, one hand held to his ear. Whether he's able to get it only nearby or fully inside, he steps through it and immediately begins forcing changes in the local landscape. He isn't fast enough. But the Strange from the future is.

In an effort to prolong their element of surprise, Future Strange sends angular, geometric ripples through the floor to trip Tombstone's men.
Thomas Alva Edison     Thomas Alva Edison has been working with Tony Stark and Doctor Strange on this weird problem. Of course, here of all places is...

"Another Garrage? Do all criminal types use garages? I mean, I was under the impression they also used warehouses. Sometimes those special ones at the docs even. Still..." there is a beat, as Oryou rips through the front door, as he looks towards Stark and shrugs. Luckily, he had planned for this possbility.

As Various secret service guards popped up everywhere, all of them in so comically bad hiding spots that made you think 'how did I not see that'. Garbage cans, street posts, a litteral fake door that was not actually being used, a fire escape, a old hobobegging for change who had managed to amass twenty bucks (which is then given to various other needy people who are still in the store, and are told to go to a hotel room to keep out of the snow.), ect.

They all start moving to secure entrances, or in the case of the giant hole, rush into the hole. Edison himself starts walking towards the hole himself, pushing it wider for his /BIG CHUNGUS/ self, and speaking with his large statesman voice.

"Unless you want to be eaten by that very pretty dragon woman, I suggest very quickly you surrender, as I am not able to control my friend here any longer. Just throw yourselves at the feet of my robots in an orderly fashion. Form lines, it's alright." he says, almost patronizing.
Reyes     Reyes has setup shop on a rooftop near the garage for the operation's first few minutes, surveying the locale through a magnified view on his visor's HUD and guessing at the layout of the building after his previous encounter with a big parking garage. They can't be TOO different, after all.

That armor of his is potent stuff. He doesn't even notice the snow piling up, aside from its effect on visibility. Inside it, he's snug as a bug in a - well. You know.

It helps being WARM and able to breathe normal air. It helps a lot.

He's just getting ready to move, picking himself up and checking over his less lethal weaponry when---

    BAM.

    Oryou happens.

"Oh come ON..." Does nobody get tactics and discipline these days?

With Tacnet data from Orchid streaming in, he takes a FLYING LEAP, thrusters on his armor's flight pack screaming to life briefly to send him swooping into the garage - upper levels down is his plan, since Oryou DEFINITELY has the front door approach covered.

As for his plan... well... he's carrying what looks KINDA like a gun? Except instead of a typical barrel, it has a short, fat, GINORMOUS barrel. Like a net gun's barrel mounted on a revolver. Like most of his gear, this thing's covered in glyphic circuitry patterns, and if one looked down the barrel they'd see a strange set of wires and circuits centered around a tiny amethyst...

ANyone and anything that seems to be armed's going to be shot with that gun, no questions asked. What does it fire, though? GOBS OF BLUE. Blue light that spreads out in a splash pattern and binds people up in sticky energies. Arms will be stuck to faces, legs, walls, vehicles, whatever. It's like being covered in immediately-sticking impossibly strong hot glue, without the burns. Only superhuman strength could possibly break this stuff.
Kotone Yamakawa From one operation to another, one back home now one in the Avenger's neck of the woods. So she was gearing up with the Paladins to make their move on Tombstone. The call came in from the local powers that they were clear to kick down the front door and take them down hard and fast. She was not going to complain about, that at all she was glad to hear the order of the day was to attempt to take alive where possible.

She checked her HUD and her kit one last time before she would move to go in but the storm, the damn storm was preventing her cloak cloaking effectively until she got in /out/ of it. Good thing she'd bee wearing a poncho over the stealth gear. Which was in artic cameo as well. Well, the poncho was she took a moment to get ready and will follow the rest of her comrades into the breach the moment they get inside she'll itch the poncho into her matter manipulator and cloak shimming and fading from view as she goes.

She took a moment to get her bearings from the HUD and the tac-Net, she primes her built-in taser systems aka Eelware and will move to start pouncing the first thug she can, get hert han on and she'll move from one to the next never pausing and never daring to sit still.
Spider-Man     Thankfully that's /like/ a deadly projectile and not /actually/ a deadly projectile, for the most part. The door slams brutally over a heavy table, crashing through a man working at it and knocking him down cold right from the start. It also means the whole garage is filled with the intense chill of the winter all at once, rushing in with intense flurries. Already, men in the kinds of modern urban clothes you can only buy with a six-figure zero-tax paycheck that comes from the wallets of junkies and financial sector workers have drawn shotguns and pistols. "Paladins!" One shouts. "Someone get the boss!" Another yells, opening fire. At least, he tries to open fire, but geometric ripples take the footing out from under him, found from that good doctor.

The interior is strange, surreal even. What look like tremendous armor plates are visible, marked with a number of gleaming lines that look a little like magic and look a /lot/ like the product of that magic-powered crafting and hideously expensive purchases. There's weapons heavier than there ever ought to be in here too, slugs for heavy weapons you'd normally see in the military. Some section of a large vehicle is being assembled with the armor, looking like a cross between half of a semi truck and all of a metal mill's products. And it's a mess of jamming, still not designed for Tony -- and by now, no doubt Thomas Alva Edison's own efforts can make it less painful to deal with -- but still making the airwaves exhausting to clean up.

Ryu, on his way through, gets to see that chunks of the offices he's blown through were host to big blueprints and designs. It's all greek to someone who doesn't know automotive engineering or military armament design, unfortunately. He'll need to focus on it later, because for now, several men are chugging mysterious fluids from hip flasks and subsequently trying to blast him with lightning after he clubs a few of them into unconsciousness. There's no runners yet, Orchid, but maybe later. For now, Tony Stark may need just a little bit of calibration to get his suit locating signatures, but it would probably be best to take out the big half-assembled vehicle's power-source to make that really work. It shouldn't be too tough to find whatever he's looking for after that!

Spider-Man is surprisingly cheerful and less surprised about Strange. "Oh, hey! Wow, I'm glad you're here, Mister Doctor Strange. I mean Doc. Yeah, what's going on with it? Usually there's at least a break, but this has just been off and on for days... Oh, hey, cool! I really need to figure that out, is that like the Einstein-Rosen bridge that happened in the big invasion?" He leaps through as well, joining in the battle in the garage, with kicks, flips, tricks, and webs!

Edison gets a response that's rude enough that it really shouldn't be written here. What the heck, criminals! He's one of the bigger targets, which is why a lot of fire is directed at him, mostly gunfire, making him a fantastic opportunity for others, like Reyes, to lock down some of the men in sticky-gun blasts. Some even approach in melee, which is a wonderful opportunity for Kotone to leap in and tase any attackers.

One criminal has broken off for a far-rear office, lit by a few lights from within obscured glass, shouting for help.
Ryu     Ryu briefly staggers and slams into a wall when lightning throws off his muscle control. Smoke and the smell of burning dragon flesh (vaguely metallic) fills the air, and then he's responding to them with a bit of his own magic. The spiderwebbing red scars from the lightning visibly recede as he approches his targets with rapidity and decisive purpose. First, he'll jam his claws into one to try and lift them into the air, brutally holding them up between him and the others. Then he'd point at the others, and begin casting lightning bolts right back at them one at a time. He takes his time precisely firing, aiming for those that look like they're ready to cast first, and moving down the line.

Ryu is pretty systematic about it, and moves with incredible speed even when carrying someone.
Ryouma Sakamoto     Luckily for Stark, Oryou intends to listen to Ryouma, so there shouldn't be a bodycount. Or a high one, at least, and certainly not an intentional one.

As one man breaks off shouting for help, Oryou trails after him, floating ominously in mid-air as her hair stretches out and the shadows seem to grow, even more obviously when lights dim further ahead. It's like a horror film. Shadowy tentacles are trying to wrap up the running man's arms and legs to drag him to the floor, with an especially unpleasant feeling of corrosion that's being, thankfully, kept at manageable, first-degree-burn levels.

"You should stop. Oryou isn't responsible for what happens to people who struggle, and she was asked not to kill or eat." How nice of her to warn him.

Ryouma trails behind Oryou slowly, swiping the flasks from the fallen goons' hips as he passes them, so that they aren't left behind or lost in the skirmish. Wouldn't want that.

If Thomas or Stark have some kind of containment ready to shove them in, that's where he'll put them.
Orchid      For those with HUDs, Orchid is keeping them updated on the locations of all the people inside the building, moving or not, that she's seen so far, either through her drones or other cameras connected to the tac-net. Handy thing, having a bunch of camera drones. In particular, she's trying to get images of those armor plates, the weapons, and the blueprints. There's a decent chance someone is planing on destroying evidence, so might as well get those leads locked in.
Kotone Yamakawa It's one giant brawl and her comrades have made one hell of an entrance all the better for her. The battle is well underway, she hears about Ryu's find? Oh, she can work with that if she can get a look at it, for now, though she's in the fight and as the various goons move melee Reyes and the others? That is when Kotone will move to strike, every part of her body can be electrified, with her taser system so she's like some kind of phantom bug zapper going in and taking down goons.

She says nothing as she's Phantom only visible for a fraction of a second due to the tasers activation and even then? It's faint.
Thomas Alva Edison     Edison did not have containment, so much as robots with handcuff dispensers to place on surrendering or submitting criminals.

However, their group is the target of the majority of aggression...well...

"See, the problem is that you all think you have power now, because you have done drugs. See, I have a problem with this.." Edison says, his body surprisingly durable for being that of a barrel chested lion. Which is...in itself very fightening.

"WORLD FAITH DOMINATION!" he shouts, as the place goes dark for a moment.

Moments later, the light turns back on, but spotlights are focused, one to try and cover the entire room, and one focused on him and his allies. His allies being granted resistance from magic and increased resistance from damage, while the criminals would find that their magical items or magical powers would be far more innifficent, as Edison used his noble phantasm to weaken their effects, wherever the light shined.

19th Century DARE Program

The Drones, now empowered, unleash their payloads of rubber bullets, taser shots, and other non-leathal, but slightly painful criminal suppression systems.

    "BEHOLD THE MIGHT OF SCIENCE!"
Doctor Strange      "It's magical," shouts Strange to Spider-Man over the storm. And the mayhem. "Gotta be." As if to prove this, he weaves an ice spell and blasts the garage with cones of freezing cold. He first begins targeting hostiles. The floor around the device being built is covered in slick, slippery ice. The device itself receives a more concentrated blast. As others look for a way to cut power to it, Strange seeks to fuse it to the ground, preventing any of Tombstone's men from removing it.

While it's possible all of these enchantments could be the same kind of bunk magic that 'Magniftor,' the bum wizard of New York, studying them in close detail wouldn't hurt.

Strange vanishes, going back in time to create unsteady footing in time for the assault. When he returns, there are two of him. The Strange of the present holds off the attackers. The Strange of the future studies the runes while his present self covers him. Is there any clue here as to what these plates are meant to do? He looks up as a criminal runs by, shouting for help.

Well... someone'll have to deal with that.
Reyes     Sure, some of the men who come in at him with melee are opportune targets for Kotone.

Some of the ones who approach, though, he has his own means of dealing with. A pouch on his belt springs open, a metal cylinder flies into his hands... what looks like the hilt of a beam saber, save that the emitter atop the hilt's inlaid with a number of different gems of different colors, integrated into two spinning lens arrays - one atop the other. With a single flick of his intent, the cylinder spins, the IVORY lens locks into place... atop a BLUE GARNET.

With a THRUM of mystical energies, the TW-Saber manifests a blade that's white as the arctic and causes the air to frost over. Around its pure magic core rages a miniaturized blizzard, chunks of ice and streams of snow swirling endlessly.

He swings the weapon this way and that at anyone who gets near. ALthough the impact's pretty nasty - though not lethal at the moment - getting near the intense cold of it's a danger for other reasons. The frigid cold steals away life force, rips stamina and the essence of health itself from people, leaving them drained, feeble, exhausted, and possibly on the verge of hypothermia from the gnawing cold. Down, but unlikely to perish from just this.
Spider-Man     One of the men is impaled! Jesus. He flails, emitting wholely uncontrolled burst of various magic in pain, and the attacks against his allies land cleanly, zapping them in more controlled ways that overcome their more meager magics. He's almost entirely covered as far as taking the goons down goes, when an alert from Orchid's network might go off. If it does, he might have one extra second to get away from an entire table, adorned with many tools, that comes crashing towards him with enough force to rip the entire piece of metal furniture in half. And that comes from...
Spider-Man     Oryou manages to take the man down, slamming him to the ground before he makes it to the back office. "AaaaaaaAAAAAUUUGH!!" He screams in intense pain, crying out. But for some reason, he seems to fear something else more than Oryou... Somehow. Though she can get his own flask, she can't keep him from screaming out, "Tombstone!! Boss!! HELP!!"

A deep, powerful voice speaks up calmly, and if Ryouma is on Orchid's network, he might have an early warning for Oryou. "No-knock warrants are dangerous." A door opens, and, very swiftly, a heavy foot drives right towards Oryou's face, intent on breaking it as fast and as brutally as possible. "In fact, a man with the right legal defenses is entitled to quite a bit of blood when something like that happens." Tombstone, in his well-tailored suit and all near-seven feet of height, strides quickly. To one side is a table, one that he immediately flings hard at Ryouma, intent on hitting him AND Ryu with one chunk of furniture and all the many tools atop it, with surprising and unexpected strength.
Spider-Man     Orchid can get shots of the armor, shots of the blueprints, and other suchlike. A lot of these designs look surprisingly old, and the records that Orchid (and, of course, Tony Stark) can find will show that they mostly come from Anton Vanko's original espionage. It's a Cold War machine to the core, whatever the design is meant to be. It looks like it's for some kind of military super-vehicle for use in heavy northern conditions.
Ryu     Ryu gets a quick alert. His head turns, and he sees a piece of furniture coming at him. He responds on reflex. To his subconscious perception, it moves slower than molasses. His hand whips to the side, discarding the mook he was using as a shield. He twists his body about, and whips his claws up in a sudden snap of draconic violence. A burst of wind follows, and the table is bisected. The sharp edge of it gouges into his scales some as it splits, but he doesn't stop there. He reaches to grab one of the table chunks, and spreads his wings in a quick snap.

And launches toward Tombstone, and swings the piece of table up for his chin in a vicious uppercut strike, moving with the blistering speed of furious lightning. Considering the table is made of metal, its scraping along the floor may actually cause a brief visible electrical arc from how fast he's moving! Mostly just flash and friction, of course.
Ryouma Sakamoto     Oryou takes a foot to the face. She hits the wall behind her, but for all of Tombstone's troubles, has only a bruise to show for it - and a scowl of anger besides. She's a tough one!

Ryouma less so, which is why rather than take a table to the face, he manifests his katana out of wispy blue mana, unsheathing it and slashing in a single stroke to turn the table into two tables. It still clips him, but without devastating table-impact-related consequences.

"Ah, mister Thompson. Truth be told I'd hoped you weren't here," Ryouma says, awkwardly.

    Oryou, on the other hand...

"Oryou, however, hoped Tombstone WOULD be here," she says, sparks of blue and orange fire dancing in her mouth before she, from her bump in the wall, spews out a cone of nasty blue-black fire towards the cleanly-dressed man.

The man who was pinned to the floor is not only completely ignored now, but actually free to run if he wants.

"I'm afraid everything here is rather incriminating," Ryouma says, trying his best to converse with Tombstone while his wife tries to set him on fire. "The offer to cooperate still stands. I genuinely believe you only want what is best for the city."
Spider-Man     Among the flickers and blurs of Kotone, she's downed most of Tombstone's goons. Something Tombstone does his best to repay. One of the heavy hoisting chains of the auto-shop is grabbed and then slung wide at Kotone, intent on crashing into her with a painful and wide strike that doesn't depend on targeting her precisely, but instead tries to sweep her legs out from under her while crushing them with heavy steel.
Spider-Man     Edison manages to suppress at least a lot of the foes here, the lower-class criminals who have to dive into cover and who find their magics failing them! Which is fantastic for dealing with the remaining goons, but the seven-foot-tall albino is more of a problem. Protection against magic is very good, but World Faith Domination is less effective against a man taking a couple of steps, grabbing a sledgehammer, and trying to crush Edison's lionhead back into his humantorso. The speed and weight of the attack are enough to create a massive shockwave in the ground. No witty quip from him either, about beholding anything, just pure, fast brutality.
Orchid      An arctic APC? That's potentially interesting, but not very relevant at the moment. Orchid sends her drones deeper in; with her allies helping distract Tombstone, Orchid is betting his office is unprotected.

As the tiny robots scuttle into the office, Orchid finally reaches the garage exterior, a pair of holographic displays in front of her, as she manages the information flow.
Thomas Alva Edison     The large Albino man crosses the distance, causing Thomas to blink.

"It appears I might have misjudged..." WHAM

Edison, however, is a tough man, and while the sledge was a powerful attack, his hand moved up to try and block, causing the force to be more evenly distributed. However, the crushing force came down onto the hand, causing it some no small manner of agony. Grunting, Edison looked at the broken hand...better than the broken head. One might think it would put him at a disadvantage, but instead, he uses the other hand to come right back at the villain. Lightning shoots from the hand, DC POWERED LIGHTNING, aiming to try and shoot the gentlemen back into a wall. He lets the Secret Service robots take care of the rest, as he has to deal with the big man.

"A man of little words, I can respect it. However, you have turned to crime. Why?" He asks, "You seem to be a strong man, you could do a lot of good with it." he asks, trying to speak to the man. "And in this field that power means it is yours, and not a stolen thing." Another blast of electricty.
Spider-Man     Ice. The storm hasn't gotten visibly worse, but when Strange brings out the ice magic, he can tell that whatever force resides in the winter is getting more concentrated since the last time they had this fight. It's a great boost for him, but with how much it's changed things over just a week or so, it's likely that it'll get to the point where ice magic is overwhelmed by the influence in some ways. It's not like an active process, not like there's more energy, but more like something in the atmosphere has drifted over New York City, and more of it is drifting now.

For now? The half-vehicle is effectively fused, though there's a surprising twist: It heavily resists a lot of it. Chunks of it fight back the cold using advanced self-heating systems and other effects, and even the runes he finds seem to have been crafted much more expertly for that purpose, with influence taken one step less disassociated from the Scepter. Perhaps Tombstone also managed to squeeze more esoteric knowledge out of his suppliers?

It's going to be a problem, because a cone of fire and a blast of lightning is about to make Tombstone stumble back, and the burning Albino -- who seems to display no signs of pain, and few signs of damage -- uses this opportunity to strike at someone who was raiding his holdings before. While he's on fire, he surges to Strange, and tries to grab his neck before tossing him clean through one of the nearby windows by bouncing him brutally off of a few cans of fuel on one of the street-facing sides of the garage.
Spider-Man     Reyes brings out his miniaturized blizzard, which is extremely good for a moment. But as he slams several men unconscious with the endurance-draining strikes, he finds that any cold-focused process inside his technologies is... vastly more powerful than it ought to be! Something in the atmosphere is /really/ messing up anything cold-based, and only cold-based, by amping up its power tenfold or more. It explains the storm, but not itself. It might even leave Reyes dealing with an overload when a burning, electrified albino leaps in to slam a heavy sledgehammer down over his head and at Reyes -- if the weird jamming signals spewed out by the half-completed super-vehicle over at the back of the garage don't mess him up first!

The strike is enough to unleash a wave of destruction, one that actually blows a fresh gap in the side of the building and knocks tools and electronics out of the walls of the auto-shop. The lights shake, and one of them sparks and pops from the weight of this man's assault.
Tony Stark Iron Man bursts in and immediately it's like showing up in a HYDRA base in the middle of New York. The storm, the drugs, and the jamming. It all comes together, the proverbial 'perfect storm' of circumstances, in the actual literal most devastating coldfront that ever hit the tri-state area.

However, after last time, Stark's tactical arctic stealth suit had an advantage over the jamming he didn't have when blindsided with it last time. "Friday, how are we doing?"
"Connection strength at 23 percent - recalibrating for atmospheric noise and jamming. Estimating time of clear-up..."

A little progress bar appears near Stark's right eyebrow, which he glances at as it pops up. Until it finished, there was only getting busy - though Thomas EDI SON's World Faith Domination power certainly sped up the ticking pixels on his HUD.

Potshots bounce and ping off his armor, barely denting the matte plate as Tony takes in the 'sights' on the floor, and the large half-built machine.

Barreling into goons incidentally, the very first thing he notices is the gleaming lines of runes on the armor plate. Thaaaat's not right. The half-built machine, though, sparks memories.

Bad memories. "No... no no no... This can't be here."

Blasting a few more criminals, and getting blasted down himself by some of the heftier (not heavier) weapons the goons are fielding, Stark changes tacks.

"Strange, if you're not checking those runes, I need you on that!" Tony calls, using the stacks of plate and materiel to nurse the pointed deep gashes in his armor from the chunkier anti-armor weapons the Tombstone goons brought to bear in this garage armory.

"I remember seeing the plans for this in dad's old lab."
"Unable to cross-reference - connection still out."
Stark shakes his head, eyes rapidly crossing the area, looking for the 'smoking gun'. "Auto-repair completion time?"
"Mild actuator failure - three minutes to full functionality."

It's not long before he finds it, the dark matte of his gauntlet tearing off a tarp, revealing one name on a box, with faded lettering:

    STARK

Like a knife to the gut, Iron Man takes a staggered half-step, not having wanted it to be true. "How did they... where did they... Thomas! Strange! We need this place locked down! Ryouma, how are you hanging in there?"
Spider-Man     Ryu slams a chunk of table into the man. It tears away a chunk of his suit, but his skin is seemingly impervious to the impact. It stumbles him, straining his muscles and damaging him in other ways, but what should be a lethal impact is reduced to a moderate muscle strain. This man seems nearly invulnerable, in some way. By now, he's on fire and blasted with lightning, which means he shouldn't move nearly as fast as he does when he grabs another chain and swipes it, trying to wrap it around Ryu before he gets into high-speed motion, and use it to yank Ryu in close. He intends to slam a hand around Ryu's throat.

"I'm told you brought some of my men back from the grave." He says, in an implaccably calm voice. "You let me, not God, hold them responsible for their failures. I'm grateful. I won't kill you. You deserve to be broken, and offered a job." He tries to slam Ryu into the ground so hard that the force might partially bury the dragon through the concrete floor of the garage and continue the battle.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone flickers in an out and she's got a good number of Tombstones muscle down leaving more people free to deal with Tombstone, or he's perceptive enough to follow through on going after her. He knows he can't pin her down, so he's going area of effect with the heavy steel chains. It's a good thing Kotone is not made of flesh any longer. She's fast but does not have much room to maneuver and she goes down with a crash cracking the pavement as she goes down, she is thankfully superhumanly strong as she will break fere before her legs are crushed beyond use.

<<I'm going to ... have to do something stupid."

She'll grab the chain and power her tasers as high as they will go trying to shock Tombstone throuhg his own /weapon/.
Ryu     "GRK--"

Ryu doesn't have a lot of time to look shocked before Tombstone has him right by the throat. He instantly has his claws on the hand that holds his windpipe like a vice, and stares at the man that speaks to him like that. He can't get anything out to respond, but frowns at his words as if it especially offends his sensibilities for someone to claim they want him to work for them. And then he gets slammed so hard into the ground that he feels his spine snap and other bones crack. He briefly wheezes from the pain, not nearly as durable as other creatures are when taking a hit of that kind of force. It's a mercy that Tombstone doesn't try to finish the job just then.

    And a very bad idea.

Ryu's bones crackle and pop back into place while he is distracted, and the dragon waits until Tombstone isn't looking. Then, he tries to leap on top of the man's back, and tries to cling to him with all of his holy claws, opens his mouth, and begins pouring bright white fire over the man's head, so much that it would consume all the oxygen in the air and make it very hard to see.
Spider-Man     Oryou manages to blast him back. He's on fire, and seems to have had much of his nice jacket burned away. He's knocked back by further attacks from Edison, and winds up focusing briefly on fighting off others, such as trying to toss Strange through a window or bury Ryu, before he refocuses on Ryouma and Oryou. "I give the city what it needs. It won't strike back against that. If you want to take me in, it won't be to the precinct. It'll be to your Paladin jails or the grave." He's still on fire. "I'll have to apologize to Fisk for breaking your Japanese beauty before he can see her."

He charges. He seems to disregard any projectiles sent his way, any fire, /anything/ of that sort, while he tries to charge Oryou down and pin her to a wall, before just ruthlessly trying to punch her repeatedly in the face. The man is pure inertia, like a rock that can't be moved or can't be stopped. "It won't matter if I'm incriminated. As long as I can take that supplier, I keep things stable, I own the power, and I fulfill the responsibility." He tries to crash Oryou right through a wall with a punch heavy enough to shatter a man-sized hole!
Doctor Strange      The Strange of the Future is yanked away from his firing position just as he takes to the air. Tombstone manages to bounce him off of the fuel canisters with a painful-sounding chime of stuck metal. He goes flying towards the window. His body then shifts, or perhaps the building does. Either way, his feet meet the wall above the window. Future Strange stops, standing upon the wall, and turns to face Tombstone.

Future Strange shakes his head at the crime boss, scarred hands making a 'no' gesture. He disappears in a flash of green light, as does the Present, traveling to satisfy causality in two different points. When the Strange of the present returns after having jumped in his own way to protect himself reading and have himself thrown towards the window.

He reappears right where he was before, but this time, he's ready. Strange closes in with a lateral flip, body rapidly spinning in the air. His fist makes a fierce downward arc, nowhere near as powerful as Tombstone but highly fast and precise. A flurry of further attacks come once he lands. Strange opens up on Tombstone with a series of jumping roundhouse kicks. They're aimed up, owing to Tombstone's height, and fluid, one after the other. He wanted to throw the wizard, but the wizard wants to throw hands.
Spider-Man     Orchid looks further.

Supply lists. Plans and distribution packages for something. It looks like arms enough have already been delivered to hit teams to perform some kind of massive urban raid. It looks like it's planned to extract a massive amount of valuable but volatile munitions. Orchid can't find /who/ the target is, but... It looks like Tombstone's plan is an astoundingly large raid on a weapons supplier. Listed thresholds of acquisition show that he needs enough to do... something. And the schedule is unsteady, but it looks like whatever it is is meant to go down probably within two weeks, sometime at the height of the storm.
Reyes     In a matter of moments, Reyes's TW-Saber is going WILDLY out of control. The magical energies arc and sizzle uncontrollably, the blizzard growing vastly out of proportions until the sword's more like a club. One with actual weight that gets him staggering sideways when it hits the ground and begins to DEEPFREEZE an ice field where it touches and the chilling magic spreads as it will. "Ah what the f--hyaggh!" Reyes does the smart thing and LETS GO of his weapon when a shadow lunges up over him. On a panic, he chanels extra power into his armor.

The glyph-circuitry shines brilliantly, energies emerging at the last second--

    BAM!

Thanks to quick maneuvering, Reyes is struck at more of an angle than overhead, and knocked sailing backwards and into a wall in an impact'd that'd probably KO any ordinary person.

Down he goes, slamming into the ground amidst a cloud of obscuring dust...

"Owwwwwwwww." He grumbles out. And yet... one foot after the other, he's grouchily rising to his feet. Reyes is clearly not a very experienced fighter by the way he moves... but somehow he withstood that blow without a lot of turmoil. Only mildly dizzied.

The answer's obvious once the dust fully clears. Around him, what looks like an ENERGIZED WIREFRAME MODEL of armor has materialized, its surfaces flickering blue and frazzled where the hammer struck. The armor overlay has an ornate medievalish styling to it, like what one might see worn by a rich and powerful dwarven king... drawn in cyber-wireframe 90s style.

Reyes sees the devastation caused in the shop by that swing though. To the left, scattered tools. To the right, electronics... "Be nicer to your machines!" He yells angrily at the man who just assaulted him. As if he cares more about that than the fact he was just hammered.

PErhaps stupidly, Reyes just continues standing against the wall he was slammed into. But not so stupidly, he reaches a hand out...

The HOOKS that were mounted into the walls to hold the tools rip free in sequence, spin around to aim their pointy ends at the man, and FLY at his arms and legs as if shot from an air rifle. Or perhaps a nail gun. These things are flying hard enough to pierce flesh and dig in an inch or so, in other words. PAinfully.
Spider-Man     The bolt knocks Tombstone back a fair bit, impacting him hard, and blasting an open spot in his jacket, though he seems to visibly feel no pain. The man is most of the way to invulnerable, but only /most/. After several attacks made to the others, he returns, this time taking the blast of electricity square on the face with no halting. The massive albino, readied for the strike instead of caught off-guard by it, charges through it. He moves like a boxer, intending to brutally strike Edison with a practices and ruthless series of blows that would break a normal man's knuckles from the force of the strikes.

"Power." He says with utmost calm as he puts in a surprisingly effective effort to beat Edison unconscious. "People with power don't know what responsibility is. You people look at laws and status quo and you see a way to throw your responsibilities away. The lawmen won't control the underworld, they'll behead it and make it chaos, then blame someone else. I've got a responsibility to make it work the way it should." Every three or four words, he emphasizes with a powerful jab, the kind that could break stone.
Orchid      Well, it's clear from what Orchid is finding that Tombstone isn't thinking small. She's making copies of everything she can. Other than that, she's updating her allies with where their enemies are.
Thomas Alva Edison     As Tombstone charges for Oryou, Edison narrows his eyes.

He charges too, while Tombstone may not be able to be STOPPED...

    Edison can slow him down.

The massive barrel chested lion man, collides with Tombstone, aiming to interject himself between the man and Oryou, so that she can slip away and of course follow up with a DRAGON UPPER. Or something. Is that racist? We're going to hope not and just keep going.

Edison is not QUITE as powerful as Tombstone, which is a weird statement given that he's a caster, but he's tough as nails, even as he gets smashed into the wall where the Cinnamon Roll was about to get splattered, as Edison struggles to push back. However, there is one thing Edison can do, with just a pit of contact.

He sparks with SAFE DC ELECTRIC POWER, before releasing it all at once into the chest of the man while they are grappling.

Edison's eyes glow, as he speaks. "You are no mere criminal, criminals do not go all in. They do not say things like what you are doing. So what is your plan, WHAT ideas drive you do this?" He grunts, trying to push back, "Instead of in service to the people?!"
Spider-Man     Stark is going to have to deal with the Big Man himself making it a little harder to restore that connection. There'll probably be a moment of warning from Orchid before Tombstone crashes in, intent on striking Iron Man dead-on with a sledgehammer he picked up, again and again, fast and with enough force that it's like he pissed off Thor. "Stark." He says, calmly. "My regards to your father. He knew what he was best at. He knew what his obligations were. Shame you didn't inherit any vision. Chasing guilt and heroism out of television shows you were too old to be watching when he died." The problem with celebrity is that every asshole with a gimmick and a villainous voice thinks he can take apart what the public thinks your idealism is.

That's about when Spider-Man rushes in, swinging off a web on the hammer and kicking Tombstone hard from one side with a super-strong strike. Oh yeah! He's in here too. Though he does get elbowed out of the melee, crashing into a nearby wall, it's an effort to get this juggernaut out of Stark's face.
Ryouma Sakamoto     "Ah... is there no chance at all to resolve this peacefully?" Ryouma asks Tombstone, perhaps a little bit disappointed. For a moment he'd seen himself in the larger, stronger man, a man willing to bend a city or country to restore or maintain it. But at least, Ryouma never saw himself as a criminal. Tombstone is hard not to see as such.

Of course, he is currently attempting to maul his wife.

Oryou grows - she catches the man's fists, showing equal strength and fury in no way fitting her frame. Edison steps in, and she backs away, before her hair rattles like a hundred snakes and then launches for Tombstone, a flurry of black cutting shadows. Individually, probably not enough to pierce his skin, but death by a thousand cuts is a proven tactic.

Ryouma, for his part, takes his revolver out of its holster, the katana long since sheathed. He's waiting for the right moment, and as soon as he has it, a glowing-blue bolt of magic fires out of the gun, trying to nail Tombstone in a shoulder alongside Oryou and Edison's assault.
Spider-Man     Tombstone turns to where he left Kotone. A bit of the chain remains near his feet, resting just near one leg, and it's a perfect timing for her to exploit it against him when she delivers a full-power electrification to his body. His whole form seizes up briefly, but the man seems to show no pain. Something about him seems utterly immune to it! Even as the electrification gets so sustained that a bit of his bare albino skin visibly blisters, he grabs the chain with both hands, and tries to brutally whip Kotone through a window, clearly at least a fair bit put-off by her tasing.
Spider-Man     Ryu manages to make Tombstone think he's buried. Haha! Tombstone, get it? So he's not exactly expecting the attack. He's heading back towards Doctor Strange to attack, but Ryu manages to snag him. The element of surprise seems to be about the only thing that pierces his defenses, and so the man is freshly lit alight anew. The oxygen loss is starting to be a problem for him for a moment. The fresh fire has lit some of the fuel spilled around, and the garage is beginning to burn, choking the man even more.

"Persistent." He says, before casually using his terribly unusual teeth for exactly what they were meant for: Biting into humanoid flesh. He grabs at one of Ryu's arms and tries to sink a mouth full of sharp into the flesh, before performing a surprisingly expert judo throw. It looks like the grapple had him worried, albeit just a bit. The lack of oxygen is also something he can't deal with, though the fire much moreso. He's looking a bit more exhausted, and it's left him vulnerable to Strange's followup.
Orchid      Orchid is still outside, and now she turns her robots' attention to Tombstone himself. She's got an idea that his resistance to pain might be some sort of trick, so she's looking close, wondering if there is something he might have done that she could undo.
Spider-Man     Strange goes for powerful roundhouse kicks, and with Tombstone exhausted by oxygen loss and the increasing density of smoke, he finds it hard to deal with. Spider-Man also joins in with Strange, doing his own high-flying spidery versions of the kicks! At some point, Tombstone tries to grab Strange's leg and slam him through a table, but Spider-Man does his best to slow the impact with a quick web-cushion sprayed in the way! It doesn't stop Tombstone from trying to follow up by trying to throw Strange away a second time, and storm over to the openings made earlier in the melee. He'll need to get through Reyes first, though.
Kotone Yamakawa It's like fighting a cyborg whose turned their pain receptors off, she does some damage she goes him to seize up, and that might give her allies an opening. Still she' clearly done something to him. Which could give the heavier hitters an opening to do something more to Tombstone, she should have gone to grab data, but then site it seems she's got too much attention.

She's able to let go of the chain but she is sent air born she does something he wouldn't expect she engaged a system and double jumps, yes double jumps. The damage to her is telling though she's not moving as fast the damaged her legs is slowing her down. Given how hard of a target Tombstone is, Kotone changes tactic.

She pulls several grenade-like objects and chucks them at Tombstone, they explode not with a bomb but with Freezer form a riot control tool which could hold a combat cyborg at least for a little bit.
Spider-Man     Reyes telekinetically launches a barrage of tools. Somewhere, somehow, Gil might feel concern about his gimmick with someone blasting sharp objects out of an arsenal in a wide wall-like pattern, but here, the only one who cares too much is Tombstone. Sharp objects seem like nothing to him, they don't even pierce skin. Drills only seem to dent him slightly. It's when he's struck with heavy objects that he seems to truly feel it as much as he can feel anything, stumbling with the impact of things like large hammers or entire sections of tool rack. He grabs an entire table near him andslings it straight for Reyes, intending for the metal to crumple against the wall and get Reyes out of the way of what comes next, which is heading towards where he was fighting Oryou and Edison, and taking out chunks of wall.
Spider-Man     Orchid will be able to see that something about his albino skin is wrong. It doesn't have the consistency of normal skin. He hasn't bled throughout the fight, even with blistering and some bruising. Something about the man is just like fighting a stone golem or something like that. He's definitely what the locals would call "Enhanced" in a significant way. Even the way he moves would be irresponsible for most people, it would tear up their muscles with the strain he puts on them from things like throwing furniture.
Tony Stark The rather emotional moment at seeing his father's old work being cribbed once more by what can only be the ghosts of Ivan and Anton Vanko is ended for Tony Stark as Tombstone comes crashing into his frame, swinging at him like an Asgardian and with the strut to match.

*CLANG!*
    *CLANG!*
        *CLANG!*

The first swing comes down towards Iron Man's head, and Stark surges forward into a tackle as it does, so instead of headshattering, it's merely backbreaking when the heavy head of the blunt object pounds flat a portion his armored back, flight flaps smashed into their seatings. The second cracks him back up, the blow sending him back up to a staggered step as he throws a fist, but the third blow strikes his side in a thunderous crack that sends Iron Man slamming into one of the enchanted plates of the super-tank hanging nearby, nearly laying him out.

Nearly.

A blast of flight power spins Iron Man back up to his feet from the triple blow.

"Tombstone. The Big Man of New York." Data passes before Stark's eyes inside his helmet, as blood trickles down his cheek from a bloody cut on his forehead. The hints of electrical smoke and ozone fills his nose from the air recycler's damage, and his side rings with sharp pins-and-needles pain that the thick armor and the repulsor shielding of his suit didn't stop. "You've got a mean hook, I'll give you that." Stark begins, raising both hands to face his palms at the hulking white figure, his shoulders setting. "I bet the vision I inherited was just one that wasn't convenient for a thug like you."

He doesn't charge so much a barrage his way back in, firing a twinned beam-blast of surging energy as he closes, then leading with a jet-kick to the chest that finishes with a blast of burning flight power on contact.

"Spider-Man! You alright?" He calls, to the elbowed-out helper. "Web 'em up, if you can!"
Reyes     Tools and tool hooks and everything Reyes could spot that might make a good profile slams into Tombstone... to little avail. This causes Reyes' eyes to go wide and the man to freeze in place, unsure what to do next. Which is a really stupid thing to do in a fight.

THe's promptly SOUNDLY whonked by a table to the everything, and slammed hard into the wall. AGAIN. His magical armor sparks and fizzles and deforms, and there's no doubt that he felt that impact twice over even if it didn't break any bones.

"OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW." He repeats, a bit more dizzily this time.

With a grunt-heave, Reyes seems to have no trouble hoisting the table himself, crumpled into the wall or not. It's dislodged with a SCREAM of twisting metal as bad as the one that sounded off when it hit him. All the while, his armor's glyph-circuits pulse with arcane energies as Superhuman Strength kicks into use, joining the Armor of Ithan.

"What'll it take to stop this guy....?!" The Techno-Wizard wonders aloud, wobbling against a wall. A luxury he can only afford because Tombstone left him to rot. "Cutting won't work. Bashing won't work. ELECTROCUTION didn't work... he needs to breathe though, right? ... But how do I stop him from breathing..." All troubling lines of thought, no matter how one dresses it up...

    Then he gets an idea.

And walks out behind Tombstone rather calmly. He stuffs away his weapons, and stretches out his arms dramatically. Then he begins a slow chant, murmuring under his breath as he actually casts a spell. It's slow going in that armor. But since Tombstone's chosen to ignore him, he has PLENTY of time...

Bluish-grey energy takes shape between Reyes's palms as he draws them inwards, the power of the spell taking shape in his inexpert hands. Finally, it's ready, and he FLINGS HIS HANDS out at Tombstone's.... feet.

A blue-grey snake-like bolt of lightning strikes the ground beneath tombstone and is sucked into it.

For a brief moment, nothing happens.

THEN the ground ripples and glistens as if wet. A moment later... the ground is no longer ground. The ground is liquid. WHATEVER IT WAS BEFORE - wood, brick, cement, whatever - it now flows like liquid. That includes sinking down into it. It'll 'dry' in less than ten seconds too, freezing in its new configuration.
Ryu     "Name of the game!" Ryu barks back to Tombstone, just before getting bit and slammed into the ground. He growls from the agony and blood drools off of his arm, dribbling against the flooring that burns here and there from his constant burning. And he realizes Tombstone is some kind of ultra-durable foe, after this. Only grappling and exhaustion seem to have worried him at all. He waits and waits for the right moment to get in, while his wounds slowly heal up again. He grimaces, realizing he isn't healing as fast and his energy is taking a massive hit from all the ambient temperature changes and the smoke. He wheezes and blearily stares at Tombstone.

    Biding his time.

When it's clear Tombstone is distracted and/or binded up enough to make the attempt, he spreads his wings and flies over to the man, and tries to wrap his wings around him from the back. Then he'd pull back and crouch, and start beating his wings... just before trying to launch up into the air and carry Tombstone briefly up out of the building and into the blizzard outside. Realizing he might not keep his own consciousness, he would make a very tight turn, and try to piledrive Tombstone toward the building. The grab and drop would probably mean nothing, but the G-forces of that turn are insane.

Hopefully, that dizzies the man long enough to get him into custody. After that, though, Ryu'll simply slump to the floor, having re-fractured his barely-healed bones from that turn.
Doctor Strange      Strange is saved in the nick of time by Spider-Man's web. He doesn't know when to quit, however. One foot presses into Tombstone's abdomen as Strange briefly defies gravity. He springs off of the albino's chest with that foot and attempts to kick him square in the jaw with the other. THat isn't what happens. Strange's ankle is grabbed, and he is thrown bodily across the room.

His back hits the wall before he can stop himself. He'll feel that in the morning. Rather than slide down and join the fight again, he hovers in the air and assists from afar. When Tombstone tries to make a beeline past Reyes, Strange observes how he reacts to having those heavier objects thrown at him, taking notes.

Before he can put those ideas to work, Kotone attempts to contain him with cryo grenades. Strange strokes his goatee. "That... could work." Perhaps his attention need not be spent on capturing Tombstone. Trusting his allies to get the job done, Strange instead works on something else. He opens the Eye of Agamotto with a mystic hand gesture, then concentrates on the vehicle being assembled.

Time begins to speed up around the cold-resistance vehicle. Howard Stark built these things to last, but can they last the test of time? Hopefully, something in there can't, or this'll just be a big waste of it. Time, that is. With the way Tombstone's throwing everyone around, he's really hoping those grenades, Reyes' magic, or Ryu's g-force piledriver will end this--he needs answers.

The sound of breaking bones briefly sounds above the din of the fight, and Strange's attention turns to Ryu. Well, he's already bending time one place, might as well bend it twice. Another Strange appears from the future, opening the Eye and mending Ryu's wounds by turning time back.
Orchid      Okay, this is all really weird. Orchid directs one of her spiders to jump onto Tombstone. It's not going to try and hold on, it's just going to listen. Does this weirdo actually have a pulse even?
Spider-Man     He's back to Edison. Tombstone was going after Oryou, but this is definitely intercepting him. They grapple. The man's clearly a fair bit tired after all of this, but no less enduring. The electrifying experience of the grapple is blistering more of his flesh, but the man grits his teeth and responds. "Two birds. One stone. Out of control weapons go into responsible hands. They get used to bring my suppliers /in line/ with what people need. I don't plan on being a criminal. I plan on being the man who /controls/ crime. Put them in their place in the city!" He shudders enough from the high-intensity electrification that his speech seems to break, and he launches back from the built-up charge! As he rises, he growls and runs for Edison again. This means putting both arms up to protect his head against the barrage from Oryou, but then the bullet slams into his shoulder right while he's not able to see it, sending him actually tumbling for a moment. He's about to scramble back to his feet, when Tony manages a heavy shot on his back, forcing him down into the snow that has been blowing in.

"Web him up-- Yeah! Yeah, you got it, Mister Stark!" Spidey calls out, leaping forward. The grenades surrounding him freeze his feet as he gets up around the exterior opening to the back lot, but Spider-Man starts spraying him with streams of the stuff, making it harder and harder to move. It's what keeps him there when Reyes sinks him into a segment of ground! Multiple immobilizations, all at once! A good chance for Orchid's bot to hop on and track his pulse. It's there, and quite high as well, but it's muted, distant. His flesh is super-dense! It's insane how dense it seems to be. The spider will be able to hold onto him as long as Orchid needs, which may be useful, though it seems like he's locked down by a half-dozen containment approaches.

...Yet, his body is shaking in that way that clearly shows he's breaking free soon. Even with Spider-Man pouring it on with the webs, he runs out of his web cartridge faster than his webbing can layer on before breaking, and the ground and foam are cracking with the force of Tombstone's re-emergence. That's when Ryu rushes in, snatching the man out of the ground, foam, web, and chunks of ground all, high up! Immediately, the lack of oxygen exhausts the man deeply. Under most circumstances, normal circumstances, this would be a clean capture on Tombstone. But the storm of the century is blowing hard, and makes any capture effort of a man so incredibly durable and unstoppable surprisingly difficult. Even a dragon would be ill-advised to take too much to the air, and Ryu unfortunately winds up ascending sometime around when a much, much larger surge of the blizzard rushes in.
Spider-Man     This /would/ have been a clean arrest. The goons are dealt with, the drugs confiscated, the weapons found and contained, and the big boss taken in. But the snow makes it effectively impossible to fly a heavy man through the storm, and up stops being clear from down as he wrenches himself free of multiple containment efforts. Ryy, unfortunately, is going to either be brought back to the ground, or he's going to have to let go of the exhausted Tombstone when he surges over the back lot, dropping him to the Earth and leaving a crater where he fell -- one where a few drops of blood might be found, the result of the day's sustained efforts.

Tombstone, for his own part, has retreated from exhaustion. The storm's blowing in, and he's run out to one of those tarp-covered shapes in the back lot. One of the completed snowbound regime-topplers! One of a set, though it looks like the fourth of the set was in-progress. Speaking of it, Doctor Strange has managed to age it into non-functionality, draining its durability to a nonfunctional (albeit perhaps easily-repaired) state. The other heavy APC/tank super-combos remaining outside are halted as easily, though the storm is going to make it almost impossible to track him through the storm... Though Orchid's tracker might still be on him, if the storm clears just enough to give them a signal sometime.
Tony Stark As Tombstone disappears into the wintry cold, Stark slows to a stop, the ringing in his ears and pain in his back and side dulling as his suit administers mild painkillers. He pops his faceplate, bringing a gauntlet up to wipe blood away from his eyes.

"A quarter. It'd be a great record... if it wasn't a failure anyway." Stark mutters darkly to himself, but after tightening his fingers around his cheeks and tugging down, exhaling misting breath as he does into the cold, he turns. "Everyone okay? We good?" Tony calls to his allies, over the light groaning of goons. "Spider Man, we've..."

He looks at the young, hoodied-and-parka'ed webslinger, and there's a strange look in his eyes. "We gotta chat. If you're tracking guys like this..."

"I don't want you to get badly hurt. We're..." He trails off.
'professionals' was the word his mind went to first, but what right did he have to tell Spider-Man that he WASN'T a professional hero?
His lips purse, and then he shakes his head. "We can't loose good people like you."

An armored hand moves to rest on Spidey's shoulder. "Just remember, if you're on the trail of something, to let us know, alright? You did good today." His hand pats once more before falling back to his side, his helmet closing back over his face. "The world needs more people like you, and less people like Tombstone."
Doctor Strange      Strange vanishes, his future self returning. His present self vanishes, too, traveling back to intercept Ryu. "You get used to it," says the sorcerer upon his return. Having rusted out most of Tombstone's fleet, he's at least deprived him of an advantage in the storm. Still... it'd be nice to know who's controlling it. And, for that matter, who's supplying the work for those enchantments.

He pauses to reach for his back with a wince. He hasn't taken the brunt of Tombstone's fists like Stark or Kotone have, but, well, he wasn't really built to be thrown around. With a grunt, Strange whips up a portal to the very warm, cozy Sanctum Sanctorum. "C'mon," he says, addressing his allies. "Let's take what we found somewhere warm and see if we can figure out his next move." The sorcerer gives Stark and Spider-Man specifically a dry frown, realizing he's sort of disrupted a Mentor Moment.

Well, might as well double down. "Or... at least, close the garage door." He lets the sentence sort of trail off, willing to repair the broken entrance and sequester the place away from the cold. If people would rather just take a look at things here.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has taken some noticeable damage from the fight with Tombstone, that guy was a serious heavy hitter she had to admit. She had damage to deal with and was sitting down on the first thing she could find to get the weight off her damaged legs. She's just taking a moment to get a breather before she'll get up and head to the portal that Dr. Strange has opened.

"A good idea Doctor and thank you."

Someplace warm and someplace she can sit down to help go over the data and anything else they had obtained would be wonderful.

"Orchid? Reyes shall we?"
Spider-Man     "Yeah! Yeah, I'm good." Spidey calls out, rubbing what's presumably a bruise on his side. And when he heads over to tony, his goggle-lenses are wide with attentive focus on whatever he has to say when he says they need to chat. And the way he approaches it is actually catching Spider-Man off-guard a lot. "Wh-- Huh? Oh! Uh. Wow, Mister Stark, you want to follow up on stuff like this? Well-- Sure! Yeah, I can let you know!" he seems upbeat, happy about it. "We could team up! Oh wow, if I find something that /Avengers/ would be interested in stopping, oh man!" He actually very slightly bounces. "But, don't worry! You won't lose me, Mister Stark. I'm ready to deal with guys like that, I think!"

Emphasis on "think" there in the wobble of his goggle-lenses. He's wrong, for sure. "But wow, yeah! I'll make sure you know if I find anything! I'm actually looking around for some more stuff, and we'll see how that goes! I think-- Right, I've got your number on..." He fusses with his phone. "Oh, hey, can I come too, Doctor? I, uh, got really cold out there for a bit, I promise it won't be long." He laughs awkwardly, then focuses more intensely. "Do you have more magic stuff in there? Could I see? Do you have /books/ about it I could read?" Okay no, don't dive in that hard man.
Orchid      Orchid is going to make sure that her drones are brought back in, aside from the one acting as a tracking device. She'll also give Kotone a shoulder back to base. She's in one piece, thankfully, but the cold is making her oil start to congeal.
Tony Stark 'I think' is the addition that gets Iron Man to turn his head back from his 'ok I'm leaving now' awkward exit.

"Yeah. Let's talk. I'll hit you up on Twitter, get you those mad likes while I'm at it." Stark cavaliers, the Mentor Moment having come and gone.

"The Avengers teaming up... yeah. Iron Man, and the friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man."

There's an audible smile in that. "We'll be in touch. I've got to handle the boys in blue for a bit."

Spider Man goes off with Strange, so Stark flies off before he gets MORE AWKWARD FEELINGS AND MOMENTS WITH SOMBER MUSIC.
