Sanary Rondel It's time for another fight in the MECC Arena! The birds are... Somewhere that's probably not here because there's people in the stands watching fights, and some of them might have a vendetta against birds trying to steal their snacks. In the ring, there's a black-haired girl in a white brandishing an axe and doing squats to get herself PUMPED UP.

She's also watching the other side of the arena carefully. She doesn't know who or what she'll be fighting against today, so she's staying on her toes!

Figuratively. She doesn't have nearly enough balance to stay on her toes for long.
Solty Revant      Who or what she will be fighting...is a green-haired girl with very unusual hairstyle and clothing choices. Solty Revant enters with a happy smile and a wave to the crowd before she approaches Sanary and smiles, politely holding her arms behind her back. "Hello! I'm Solty Revant, and I guess I'll be fighting you today!" She sounds quite cheerful and seems fully genuine about it, and even holds out a hand to shake. "Good luck, and I hope we can be friends!"
Sanary Rondel Sanary tilts her head slightly as her opponent appears, and she smirks while taking Solty's hand for a firm shake. "Sanary Rondel. Looks like, eh? Yeah, let's make this one good for the audience, and then we can grab somethin' to eat after." She claps Solty's shoulder lightly, then steps back so they can get to their spots for the match to begin proper!

First thing she does once the match starts: Yank a smaller axe out of her coat and whip it right at Solty. It's not the most honorable move by any means, but she does at least wait for the ROUND START buzzer to go first!
Solty Revant      Solty shakes Sanary's hand happily before she turns and quickly moves a short distance away. She turns back to find...an axe flying at her! "Uwaah!" Solty brings up her arms in an X-block, but she painfully learns that such a block isn't the best thing to use against a bladed weapon. She yelps as the axe cuts into her and sticks there. But, rather than blood what escapes is an arc of electricity. "Ouch!" she says in a child-like way before she pulls the axe free with a wince.

She looks at the axe a moment before dropping it, then she squares up and pulls her arms to her sides in an amateur martial arts stance. "Usually I'd say that wasn't nice, but we -are- fighting in a tournament so...I'm not sure." she says, then leaps forward at Sanary like a shot. A yellow-orange aura surrounds her fists as she flies in, and they seem to be vibrating so powerfully that their outlines actually blur. "So I shouldn't go easy either!" she exclaims as she throws a punch, which releases an explosive burst of kinetic energy in addition to the punch itself.
Sanary Rondel Electricity? That's curious. Sanary squints slightly as she circles around Solty slowly, sizing her up and gauging how to best approach the girl in red. "Yeah, it's a good thing they got good docs here. Otherwise..." She shrugs and flicks some green light around herself, a brief demonstration of her healing magic before recalling it as Solty speeds in with that punch. The healer brings up her axe to bear the brunt of the hit, but the energy burst catches her off guard and sends her flying back several feet with a painful landing on her back.

"Huh. That's some weird magic fisty... Thing you got there." Picking herself back up, the healer glows green briefly as she focuses some healing magic into the bruises on her arms. "But if we're getting in close... Then let's see who can take it and give it better!"

And then she bursts forward herself, albeit not with much speed beyond someone that's just moderately... Okay she's not really fast at all. She's still taking fairly conservative swings with her axe, opting for swift strikes rather than putting everything into a big blow for now!
Solty Revant      With no weapons or defenses other than her actual body, Solty has to try and block the axe hits however she can. Her arms end up with plenty of cuts from those axe attacks, and the shining metal beneath her synthetic skin is easily visible through each one. "I know, right?" she says, teeth clenched a bit against the pain. "I'm really not sure how it works myself. I just kind of...know how to...do it!"

The last part is accentuated because she throws a punch with her other hand, still shrouded in that explosive aura. "What kind of food should we get? I like burgers, but we can get anything. And don't worry about me being an android. I still eat and drink and sleep just like a normal person!" she says after throwing that punch, her tone light and chipper. "Did you use magic, too? It looked like you did. That green glow heals you up, right? That's pretty neat!" She seems to like to talk.
Sanary Rondel Taking note of the glint of metal that isn't coming from her own axe, Sanary nods slowly while her axe keeps moving almost on instinct. "Interesting... Usually, most of the martial arts-y types I've seen are all 'my style's been passed down for thousands of years' or somethin'. Just not the same as makin' it yourself."

And then Solty goes for a counter-hit! Smirking at the girl's guts, Sanary leans into the attack to catch it against her non-swinging arm, gritting her teeth as she feels something bending in a way it shouldn't under her coat. "Kkh... Haven't had a good burger in a while. MAybe... A place with shakes, too? Gotta keep the energy up so this magic works, yeah." She laughs despite the pain, aiming to shove Solty back before swinging her axe around with a noticeably bigger swing to the legs. "Surprised you can eat, though... Remind me to see if my magic works on you later!"
Solty Revant      "I will!" Solty says happily...just before nearly losing a leg to that chop. She cries out in what is obviously very real pain, which might be curious considering she is an android. She falls over, shuddering, the deep gash in her leg sparking madly from the damage. "Nnng...I..don't like axes." she says, as if only just now coming to this decision.

But, she gets up a moment later, one eye half closed against the pain. "Magic seems like a funny thing. It doesn't seem to notice if someone is normal or a machine, from things that I've seen." she says, her stance favoring that injured leg now. She goes into her fighter stance again, and her hands regain that flowing aura. "Here I come!"

She looks like she is going to leap forward...but when she does, she seems to teleport! In an instant she is right behind Sanary and already mid-punch. This time it is a 1 2 punch of explosive impacts aimed at the kidney area!
Sanary Rondel Solty's reactions are confusing to Sanary. Not because she feels bad because of the pain responses or anything, of course, but because she's pretty sure this girl is a robot and not a human. "Don't robots... Er. Androids? Can't you just not feel pain? Ah... If you don't like this, then you're definitely gonna hate swords."

Sanary scoffs lightly. "Swords suck." Weapon triangle biases are part of her very soul, apparently.

"Yeah, I remember usin' it on a phantom boat before. Kinda weird, but as long as it works." She shrugs lightly, then braces herself again as Solty moves in for her next attack! She flinches slightly when the girl just up and disappears, breathing in slowly to keep her cool. "You're a teleporter, too?!" She sounds mildly annoyed at that, spinning around as if expecting to get hit in the side or the back of her head any second. Her timing is actually on point for once, as she turns just in time to catch Solty's first blow with her gut and actually react fast enough to block the second with her arm!

THere's a light crunch with that second hit, and the healer has to stagger back a bit to get her bearings. "Ergh... Or was that just movin' really fast? Either way... I gotta learn me some o' that, too. Everyone blastin' around..." She sounds a little salty as she mutters that last part, already moving in for another follow up swing to get back into gear. Instead of a big chop like before, however, she lunges forward with a sudden kick to the leg before following that up with a flurry of firm side-swings!
Solty Revant      Solty just gives a bit of an uncertain laugh at the question. "I'm not sure, but I don't think it is teleporting. I actually see where I am going and move there, it is just really f-OOW!" A leg kick to her injured leg causes more pain. "I...I don't know if I can turn it off...b-but that would be nice!" Solty exclaims with a grimace as she tries to fend off the flurry of swings while down on one knee. Nothing manages to cut especially deep but the android girl is practically covered in shallow cuts by now. "H-hehe...i-it doesn't really seem like you need to move fast though. You heal up, and you're pretty good with your axe." she says before getting back to her feet.

She just charges toward Sanary this time, throwing a series of non-augmented punches. They still have power behind them thanks to her android strength, but that explosive aura is gone for now.
Sanary Rondel You can't just...? Huh. Maybe ask your creator to fix that for ya!" Sanary steadies herself as she finishes her flurry, grinning just a bit when Solty speaks of her axe skill. "Heh... You ain't so bad, either. Doesn't even look like you need weapons at the rate you're punchin' those... Uh. Punches out."

She tried.

Hopping on her feet now, Sanary moves in again as Solty comes towards her. She leans into each of those punches to take them early in the swing, channeling healing magic into the points she's punched to mitigate the damage instead of actively trying to avoid them. "All this training's not enough, though.. I still gotta get stronger!"

And as she yells about her strength and hams it up for the crowd, she rears back to give herself a little more room to build up speed for her next swing. Instead of just swinging forward, however, she goes for a bigger, flashier swing! She spins the axe around herself, doing a straight up 360 before going for the actual swing!
Solty Revant      "I don't really know who made me, but if I ever meet them I'll ask about it." Solty replies, giggling a bit at Sanary's talking of punching punches. She blinks as Sanary mentions getting stronger, then smiles brightly. "You have to get stronger? I need to get stronger, too! I have to so that I can protect Roy and Kasha and Miss Miranda, and anyone else who needs...IT!!"

The last word once again gets accentuated as an attack comes in. Solty tries to turn to block it, but it glances off her arms and with a firm thud and a piercing sound of metal cutting into metal the axe ends up buried in her belly. It is most likely quite firmly stuck, so when it is pulled free there is more of that grating metal on metal sound before Solty stumbles back and drops to a knee again. "N-no...axes and swords are not fun..." she agrees through clenched teeth. It takes her a moment to get back to her feet after that one, and she looks like she is barely standing.

Still, she fixes a determined glance on Sanary. "But...I can't give up. No one else in The City is strong enough to stop it if something comes through from the Multiverse or someone triggers the Blastfall again. So I have to be ready!" she says, hyping herself up as well. That flowing aura returns, but this time it is around her entire body. "Kyyaaaaah!!"

Solty leaps forward with such power that the area beneath her feet actually shatters and crushes down into a small crater. Her dash is so fast that her form seems to blur, and she isn't even running this time. Just flying through the air with both fists forward. It's an obvious last gasp effort, but if it works it promises plenty of pain and more of that explosive kinetic energy!
Sanary Rondel "Heh... Nah, these things ain't meant to be fun. They're killing tools. Never forget that, even if you pick one up yourself!" Despite basically swinging her axe around in ways that could easily kill a lesser person, Sanary still shouts words of encouragement to Solty. Drawing that weapon back, she actually winces slightly at the noise, readying herself as Solty starts pumping herself up. Cratering the ground just launching herself forward. Glowing with painful robotic death magic.

This is oging to hurt very badly. Instead of moving to avoid it, Sanary stands her ground as she prepares that healing magic once more, already whirling it around inside herself to weather what's to come. Catching that charge head on, Sanary's boots grind into the ground and kick up massive amounts of dirt and debris, and the healer actually gets taken right off her feet as she tumbles backwards several times before stopping.

"Remind me... To ask about special shit like that, too. All I got left is... Uh." She pauses, then taps on the side of her head as her lone eye starts to glow. "This thing." And then she fires off several lasers from her eye at Solty, each one triggering an explosion nearby!
Solty Revant      It might have hurt, but not nearly badly enough. Solty looks a bit awed as her best attack really seems like it does little more than eventually knock Sanary off her feet. That aura fades away after Solty's attack, leaving the battered android girl slumped and panting in exhaustion and pain.

Her eyes widen Sanary's eye starts to glow, and she yelps as she quickly ducks down and curls up in much more of a panicked guard than an actual defense. Somehow none of the beams hit her directly, but all those explosions leave her barely mobile. Even with obviously only fumes left in her tank, the stubborn android girl rises back to her feet unsteadily. "Heh...hehe..." she giggles tiredly. "You're tough, Miss Sanary." she says weakly before she starts toward Sanary again. She apparently has no ranged attacks whatsoever, and at her current walking pace it would take her a bit to even reach Sanary.

That is until her form blurs and like before she somehow traverses the distance in an instant. And with her limbs all heavily damaged, all she can manage is a headbutt aimed at Sanary's chest.
Sanary Rondel "Heh... That's my thing. If I can't beat 'em with beating, I'll just outlast everyone." Despite Sanary's boastful laughter, a keener eye would notice that she's actually on her last legs! Her eye is flickering as the flow of magic isn't quite as high as it needs to function right after burning through so much magic, and the coat is hiding the bruises underneath and the bones that will probably need to be re-set once all is said and done!

That's the biggest problem with her healing magic: It heals, but it doesn't heal quite right. When Solty comes in for that headbutt, Sanary's expecting to just take it like a champ. Instead, however, wounds and ribs hastily put back together mid-fight end up stabbing her more than even she's expecting, and the healer hurks loudly and painfully as she spits out blood from the impact.

"ggh... D-dang, Solty. Your head's like a rock or somethin'! Eh... Oh right. The metal." She laughs at her own joke, then cringes again at the pain. With little steam left, she drops her axes and does something different.

She goes for a throw. She just reaches down to try and grab Solty around the chest, then slam herself downwards on top of the android!

This may hurt more for herself than it does for Solty.
Solty Revant      Solty actually does laugh a bit at Sanary's terrible joke. When she is grabbed, Sanary finds out one more interesting thing about Solty.

She really doesn't weigh any more than a typical human of her size. So, she is pretty easy to grapple and slam down on. And even though Solty does manage to escape the grip at the last moment, the downward momentum is already there and her hard head bounces off the equally hard ground.

The following "...ow..." is muffled by the fact that Solty's face is in the pavement (or whatever it was they were fighting on). She lies there for a few moments even after the arena resets and they are back to good health, then finally gets back up and smiles. "Well, I guess I'm not quite tough enough to beat you yet, Miss Sanary. But, thank you for the fight!" She helps Sanary up if it is needed, then bows at the waist politely. When she stands up straight once more she tilts her head. "So...other robots and things don't feel pain?" she asks.
Sanary Rondel Sanary isn't in any rush to get up herself, the residual phantom pains still keeping her from breathing properly until she finally realizes that Solty's okay. Just in case, though, the healer touches her own chest briefly to make sure everything's not stabbing her insides before taking the android girl's hand to get up.

"Heh... You're tougher than you think, Solty. You could get real far if you took a couple of weapon lessons and..." Get used to killing people. Sanary's mouth hangs open for a moment as she reconsiders actually saying what she's thinking, then settles for patting Solty's head instead.

"... You know what? I'm not sure. I don't see why you'd need to if you can fight stuff without that." Clearly, she doesn't get the idea of recognizing danger via pain. "Would be useful if I could just do that, I know that much... But enough about hurtin' each other. You wanna grab that burger?"

There's some other questions she has about android digestion floating around in there, but she'll have to figure out how to ask that politely.
Solty Revant      Solty blinks and tilts her head in confusion at Sanary's unfinished sentence, but the pat on the head and the question about the burger makes her smile cheerfully again. "Yes. And lots of fries! And a milkshake! ...someone said that if you dip fries in a shake it is good? Have you tried that? I'm not sure if I think it would be good or not. Fries are served hot and salty and made of potatoes, but milkshakes are creamy and cold. That just doesn't seem like it would work. But then again, I'm not really much of a cook so..." She gives a shrug and starts walking if and when Sanary does.

She looks over at Sanary and tilts her head lightly in curiousity. "How'd you get a robot eye? You're a normal human, right? Did it get hurt and you had to get a Resemble eye?"

Sanary will probably be bombarded with questions until Solty's mouth is full of burger.
