Solty Revant      It is a beautiful sunny day in The City! Does the city have an actual name? Not according to anyone who lives here, at least. It is apparently the only city on the entire planet, after all. Today Solty has invited people to join her in a pool party at a local pool. She, her adopted father Roy Revant, and their friends Miranda and Kasha Mavrick, are all already here.

The indoor pool is actually quite full on a day like this. And for good reason. It is a very large pool underneath a glass dome, so even though it is inside it gets all the benefits of being outside without actually being outside. Loungers and tables surround it, and many a beach body are stretched out in those loungers to tan. Solty and Kasha are in the pool already, and Solty is doing a terrible job of swimming. In fact, those arriving only just now would see her sink below the water while attempting to swim to Kasha, who is resting in a float ring and waiting for Solty.

Roy and Miranda are at a table with a young man, Roy in a lounger and reading a newspaper on something like a tablet except the screen is completely flat and stretched between two metal sides.
Touta Konoe      SUMMER TIME SWIMMING!

Touta's more than ready for a pool day with how his home/work place is basically on an island. Unlike his usual black wardrobe this time around he's just has red swim trunks, a t-shirt with the word 'Salty' on it, and a hula-hoop. "Now that I think it...I don't I've ever been to Solty's world have I?"

It was definitely weird to arrive into a world with no-name, but thankfully since it was the only one he at least knew he was in the right place. That said...That does raise alot of other questions doesn't it? Though since everyone seems not too troubled with their indoor pool day, it's not really his business to butt in. Of course now that he was here the first person he'd end up recognizing is Solty, so that's obviously who he's gonna greet first right?

Naaaaw, instead he's just gonna sit on the edge of the pool and see how Solty does with her swimming practice...That raises another question, 'Can androids even swim?'
Rean Schwarzer Rean shows up to the pool, looking around. It's actually pretty nice, and  has a glass dome over it like the pool at Thors. Unlike the pool at Thors, though this one isn't being occupied by a local school club and just has regular people here chilling out. He's wearing a red t-shirt and black swim trunks, and carrying a towel over his shoulder.

OH hey, Touta was here, and there were a bunch of other people he didn't know including a girl who apparently didn't know how to swim and just sank under the water.

...Wait,what?

Rean throws off his t-shirt and jumps into the pool, diving into the water to go help the drowning girl.
Solty Revant      The answer to 'can androids swim' is apparently no, because Solty has already sunk beneath the surface. Touta can probably hear the conversation between Roy, Miranda, and a young man named Yuto.

"...is she uh..." Roy asks Yuto, who just chuckles lightly and shakes his head. "No, she's completely fine. She can't really drown, and her technology is completely waterproof." Miranda shakes her head and smiles. "It is still hard to believe that she's a machi-"

SPLASH! Rean leaps in to save Solty, who is currently lying on the bottom of the pool with Kasha looking down at her with some concern. When Rean reaches Solty, he finds it is harder to get her out of the water than it might seem. Although she isn't actually heavy, she has no natural boyancy. But, she also looks up at him when he gets to her, seeming perfectly fine being underwater without breath. Kasha reaches down into the fairly shallow water to help, and together with the floatation ring they are able to get Solty to the surface. She looks embarrased and laughs self-consciously. "Um...thanks." she says to the two, then blinks as she sees Touta. "Hello Mr. Touta!" she calls out, waving enthusiastically.
Touta Konoe      Touta gets a first seat view of Rean diving in to go after Solty, he leaps in so quickly that he can't even give the poor guy a heads up before he ends up trying to pull up the non-buoyant android. Though as the two start finding their way back up to the surface and Solty gives her usual warm welcome to him, he immediately waves back with that easy-going face of his. "Heya Solty, thanks for the invite. Looks like you've got a bit of a pool party going on huh?"

The moment Rean finds himself back-up, Touta also makes sure to offer the guy a hand if he needs it. "Hey Rean, good to see you too man. Hmmm...Have you met Solty before?" It's a reasonable question. He figured if you were invited to this pool you probably knew Solty, but if you knew Solty you probably knew she was a robot...Or maybe he just knew Solty but didn't know she was an android that was uh...Drowning-proof. Well he's not gonna push the topic too far.

Once Rean's out of the water, or decides to stay in Touta looks back at Roy and the others who seemed to be familiar with her and gives them a wave too.

"Heya, not sure if I've met you guys before but I'm a friend of Solty's from...Out of town. Name's Touta Konoe."

He's not sure how big of a secret the Multiverse is on this world so might as well be somewhat diligent.
Rean Schwarzer The drowning girl is...not /heavy/ but there's a lot more resistance than he'd expected as he's pulling her up to the surface In fact it doesn't seem like she's drowning so much as just lying on the bottom of the pool. Weird. Eventually though, he succeeds at getting her above the surface with some help from Kasha. "No problem." Rean says. Her voice was very, familiar though. Guess he'd just helped Solty out by accident!

He also waves to Touta and then replies, "Not in person, no. We've talked on the radio a few times though."  He then turns to Solty's other friends. "Rean Schwarzer, also a friend of Solty's and from out of town. Nice to meet you!"
Solty Revant      Once Rean and Kasha have helped her to the side of the pool, Solty climbs out easily enough and seems to be fine. She really was just lying on the bottom in an anime sweatdrop kind of way. She moves to sit by Touta on the edge of the pool. "Oh! Mr. Rean! It's nice to finally meet you!" she calls out cheerfully. "And thank you for your help!"

A blond waitress with pale green eyes and a blue bikini approaches the table. "May I take your orders?" she asks, giving her hair a flip in a way that is much too showy for a waitress. Roy's eyebrow twitches as if he recognizes her, but rather than make an order he just continues reading. He doesn't seem worried about Solty, either. Miranda and Yuto order various fast food sort of dishes and drinks, and Kasha and Solty do the same before Solty looks to her two visiting friends again. "Thank you for coming! I wasn't sure anyone from outside of The City would come! If you want anything, Roy and I will pay for it!"

About this time, the waitress growls at Roy. "Don't ignore me! Are you seriously acting like we don't know each other! You know Solty, right? Right?!" Roy just grunts lightly at that and tries to keep ignoring the girl. Miranda looks at the waitress and blinks. "Wait..aren't you Rose Anderson, one of the Anderson Family of thieves?" For some reason, she doesn't actually seem concerned. More like she is asking about someone's profession. Rose smirks. "That's right, and you guys just might get to see my magnificence in action!"

Solty seems to perk up at this and hops up. "Rose? What are you doing here?"

Rose just smirks and shrugs. "A master thief has to keep busy, and..." She notices a group of young women coming toward them and she suddenly looks very worried. But, before anyone can say anything she turns and heads back to the kitchen. "I'll be right back with your orders!"

The passing group of three young women watches her go. "...did that look like..." a tall blond asks, and a shorder dark-skinned girl says, "...nope. Didn't see anything. It's our day off."
Touta Konoe      At first, Touta's not really paying the server any mind. She's messing with the people at the table and he's got nothing he really needs to order. Even if Solty says it's alright for him to take something on Roy's tab it feels kinda harsh to do since he just met the guy! "Ah, I'm good. Honestly, don't sweat it just glad to be able to come visit. Feels like we haven't hung out in in a while. Figured I'd make sure you were doing alright." He then proceeds to give obligatory headpats.

Then comes yelling which finally garners attention from the pool side. "Hey lady, just a tip but uh, if you yell at your guests like that you might get into trouble." He's never done it before but he's been informed plenty of times what would happen should he ever decide to get uppity with a guest back at Fairyland Hall.

The conversation continues on however and it seems like they know this person enough at least. He doesn't exactly get the whole family of thieves things but before he can even really question it the woman's out and about heading back towards the kitchen. It does make him raise an eyebrow enough to look towards Rean to see if he really understood any of what just happened. But after another minute or two, it probably won't even matter right???

"By the way, how's the water you two? I haven't gotten to go in yet so I'm looking forward to it."

As he says that he starts looking down into it. It's not sure how clear the water is or not, but if anyone was willing to pay attention to this kid at any time during that whole conversation...He doesn't have a reflection in the water when Solty, Rean and everyone else does...Is that an issue?
Rean Schwarzer Rean pulls himself out of the pool, and takes a seat next to Touta and Solty. The two might notice he has faint, jagged scar over his heart, now that he's out of the water, though.

A blonde waitress comes by, and things kind of get weird. It seemed like she knew Roy, but Roy couldn't care less. She was part of some famous thief family, but everyone here didn't seem to be concerned about it at all. Rean returns Touta's glance with a shrug - he's got no idea what the heck just happened there either.

"It's pretty nice." Rean says, looking down into the water. And then, a bit of surprise crosses his face. '...Huh.' He thinks, noticing Touta doesn't have a reflection. It's not like it's the strangest thing he's seen him do, or even heard him say. It's not really an issue to Rean. Touta seemed like a nice person, and it didn't matter what he was.
Solty Revant      Solty blinks in a bit of surprise at Touta's lack of reflection, but doesn't seem alarmed. She knows about what he is, after all. "Excuse me! I'm gonna go talk with Rose." she says to Touta and Rean, then jogs off after the waitress. Roy seems to frown just a bit at this, but continues ignoring it mostly. "The water felt great though! You guys should definitely enjoy it!" Solty calls back to them before catching up with the waitress. The three young women also watch Solty go, and the others can hear the blonde comment, "...don't we know that girl, too?" The dark-skinned girl just yawns and stays in her lounger, and a pale girl with pinkish-red hair just shrugs.

Solty and Rose round a corner, still talking, and Roy sighs. Miranda giggles a bit. "She'll be fine, Roy. Solty's a good girl. She'd never let herself be talked her into anything bad, and I don't think that girl is that bad anyway." Roy just grunts.

Solty returns a minute or so later, but rather than return to her friends, she approaches the three young women. The blonde is trying to use a pepper grinder to put some pepper on her salad, but for some reason nothing has been coming out and it's starting to annoy her. "It's like it's blocked by something." she is saying as Solty reaches them. Solty bows to them politely, then says, "Excuse me, but I need that shaker thing! It's really important! Please give it to me now!" She holds out her hand, seeming quite insistent. The blonde looks at her incredulously. "Uh...if you take this, it's stealing you know. I'd have to arrest you, and it's supposed to be my day off." Solty mmphs. "But, it's really important! It could save lives, so please give it here!"

She tries to take it, but the blonde manages to move just enough that Solty hits her hand and the shaker goes flying. And as it does...a rather large emerald tumbles out! "There it is!" Solty exclaims. "Hey! That's the missing emerald!" the blonde exclaims, and both leap for it. Miranda blinks, then looks at Roy's paper. "The one that was stolen yesterday?!"

Solty and the blonde are now wrestling to try and get the emerald. "It could save a lot of people! Please give it to me!" "No way! Rose stole it, and it has to go back!" "Even if she could help a lot of people by letting them have it?" "Yes!"

Rose can be seen peeking around a corner, a hand over her face with an exasperated expression at Solty's actions. Solty mmphs, then looks to Touta and Rean. "Help me! We can help a lot of homeless people!" she exclaims. The blonde growls. "Don't you dare! You'd be aiding a criminal!"
Touta Konoe      With a recommendation of good water enjoyment ahead, Touta takes his first dip in as Solty goes the corner. Is he worried? Not really, no. He's butt heads with her before and she knows how to take a hit so he's not too concerned about it. So for the time being he just relaxes in the pool for like... A minute or so?

That's all he'll really get before Solty ends up finding that emerald from the pepper grinder. Next thing you know you have the both of them trying to yank the dang thing from one another. After a bit of listening in, Touta looks at Rean from the water. "Hey, Rean, you're a Paladin right? What do ya wanna do here?"

It's less of a question as if Touta's unsure of what he wants to do, in fact he seems pretty sure of what he'll need to do if things get to out of hand. If anything the way he asks makes it seem like he just wants Rean's opinion. Maybe it's a bit snarky for this kid, but it almost makes it sound like he's a Paladin asking his younger associate to try and get his feet wet in the situation. Regardless, Touta stays at the edge of the pool not doing anything as of yet, even as Solty yells out to both of them.
Rean Schwarzer Rean watches Solty go round the corner after Rose, and raised an eyebrow. She'd be fine right? He's about to go back into the water when the emerald comes flying out of the pepper shaker and Solty and the blonde woman get into a fight over it.

And then Touta asks what he wanted to do here.

Rean puts his hand to his chin, deep in thought. On the one hand she did say Solty wanted to use that emerald to help people. On the other, Rose still stole it. Eventually, he gets up and heads over to where Solty and the blonde woman were "...Solty, let her have the emerald." Rean says. "There should other ways for you to help those people that don't involve stealing. Right?"

His decision was less because of any sense of duty he had as a Paladin, but more because it seemed like the right thing to do in this situation. What he did next depended on Solty's answer, really.
Solty Revant      Miranda, Yuto, and Roy all seem frozen until Rean speaks up. Roy growls, then stands up. "Solty, stop that right now! I don't know about that emerald helping people, but there is no way I'm letting Rose pull you into a life of crime!" The blonde grins in a triumphant yet smug way. "You heard them, little brat. Let go, and R.U.C. Security won't press any charges. You seem like a nice girl, if a bit stupid to fall for one of Rose's lines."

Solty seems torn, but when her friends and father both agree, she reluctantly lets go of the emerald.

Just in time for Rose to somersault kick the hands of both her and the blonde woman who seems to be some kind of law enforcement. The emerald goes flying out toward the pool and Rose leaps off of both Solty's and the blonde's heads to go after it. "Don't get in my way! Those downtrodden that live in the Undercity must have relieve, and this is the only way we can get it!" she declares in an overly dramatic heroic tone. With an artful somersault and a show of agility she flips through the air and lands on the other side of the pool with the emerald in hand. "Thank you very much~ I'll be going now!"

There's a crash of glass shattering, and a motorcycle that looks like it was modelled after a sleek train engine comes driving in toward Rose, seemingly remote controlled. "Hey! Get back here!" the blonde officer yells, and with a single leap nearly clears the pool. With Solty right behind her. "Get out of here, Rose!" Solty exclaims as she grabs the blonde around the waist, slowing her down and threatening to dump them both into the water.

For some reason, the other two women (who are presumably officers themselves) are just watching.
Touta Konoe      "Hehe, yeah, definitely was right about you guys." That's all he can really say when Rean convinces Solty to stop messing with the officer and she agrees to let go. It only reaffirms what he already thought of the two. Good people.

As for Rose, "...Oooooh, not bad." It's all Touta has to say when Rose does her gymnastic feats. She's clearly practiced this stuff and it seems like she does talk a big game. Though talking big and acting big are two really different things...

Touta ends up jumping right out of the water. Like, he's not even on the edge of the pool, he leaps from the center with enough force that the kid finds himself quite a few feet in the air before finally landing in between Rose's path and that of the incoming motorcycle. The landing isn't gentle either, the ground below his feet look like its started to crack where he landed. While this was definitely a small kid, in this very moment his presence probably seemed much more than he appeared. For the locals maybe this would be the equivalent to what Solty would be like if she actually seemed somewhat intimidating.

With a devious smile that looked like he was almost baring fangs at her, Touta takes a slow step forward towards Rose once again putting enough pressure on the foot to actually seem a bit threatening. His eyes beaming at her like an animal would its prey, "Seriously, I know hospitality is rough, but there's better ways to get a tip... How about you hand that to me and we'll pretend this never happened?"

He slowly extends out the palm of his hand as if expecting her to hand him the emerald. The choice was going to be hers. Return the gem and get away, or deal with whatever the hell this kid was...
Rean Schwarzer Well, that didn't work. Rose makes off with the emerald anyway, and Rean runs around the pool to chase after her. "Get back here!" He shouts. Unfortunately she's too fast, and Solty and the blonde woman are already ahead of him as it is. Rean stops at  the edge of the pool where Solty is trying to help by holding back the blonde woman. "Solty..." Rean says, watching her fight the blonde woman.

And then Touta literally leaps out of the pool, landing in Rose's path and being /very/ intimidating. "No one has to get hurt, just hand it over." Rean says, following touta outside.
Solty Revant      Rose barely manages not running into Touta as he leaps and lands like that, and she looks pretty intimidated when he looks up at her like that. "W-what's your deal, kid?!" she says shakily. She hesitates a moment, then takes a deep breath before sighing and giving her long hair a toss. "Fine, geeze! What is with you multiversals?! You take things way too seriously!"

She starts to hand over the emerald...then with a quick motion throws it upward. "Catch!" she exclaims, and her motorcycle races around Touta where she boards it on the move. She races to the broken window, then skids to a stop. Solty and the blonde officer have both made it out of the pool, and Rose smirks. "Don't worry Solty! I told you we are bad off down there, and we are. But, we aren't as bad off as I said. We'll be fine!" she calls out before she and her motorcycle take off through the broken window. "And it's all worth it if it brings the Undercity to the attention of the Multiversals!" she calls out as she races away.

With the thief gone, the officers don't seem that upset with Solty for interfering in a capture. The blonde just sighs and heads back to her table, the dark-skinned girl is actually laughing in amusement, and the red-head seems content to have just watched. "You're lucky kid." The blonde says to Solty. "If we were actually on duty, we'd take you in." she says, though she still doesn't sound that upset. She actually seems more like she enjoyed the little encounter. Are all law enforcement on this world so non-challant about things?

Solty waves bye to Rose as she departs, then looks to Touta and Rean sheepishly. "She...she said she could help a lot of people and that they might die without the emerald..." she says apologetically. Roy and the others have gotten out of their seats and are headed toward Touta, Rean, and Solty. "Is everyone alright?" Miranda calls out to them.
Touta Konoe      Rose pulls a fast one on Touta as she throws the emerald into the air. Though as she finally gets on her motorcycle and heads off, the grin from before just turns into a bit of a laugh as he snatches the emerald. "Guess she's not just all talk. Well, not my job to police people around here."

He starts walking back towards the Solty and her friensd. "Yaaaah, sorry guys couldn't do much about it. But uh...I was kinda interested to see if she was gonna try to pull a fast one on me. Most thieves probably would have backed off if they thought a payday wasn't worth it, the way she was chatting you up at the end though Solty really does make it sound like she cares though...Guess I was a bit more scary than I was planning!" He can't help but scratch the back of his head. Though Solty's sheepish statement brings the laugh to a halt and he puts a hand on her shoulder.

"You know, we have a lot of slums that have started to pop up too. It's definitely rough for people but uh...It's like Rean said, there's right ways and wrong ways to handle things."

With that said he walks back over to the ...Officers, and places the gem on their table. "It's fine now though, right? No one got hurt and you guys get to say that you stopped that thief from stealing it. Sounds like a good off-day to me."
Rean Schwarzer Rean sighs as Rose takes off. They've got the emerald, though, and so he heads back to where the others are waiting.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Rean says. "Though, the Undercity...Is there more to it than that? It being a slum, I mean."
Solty Revant      Solty listens to Touta like a little kid being scolded by a grown-up, looking sorry for her actions. She nods lightly at the end of his little speech and quietly murmurs, "Okay, Mr. Touta." Roy approaches and puts his hand on Solty's head, gently headpatting her much like Touta had done earlier. "Bleeding heart like yours...people are going to take advantage of it." he says, then starts back toward his lounger. Miranda sighs softly at Rean's question. "The Undercity...it's wear all the unregistered citizens live. It's the best we can do with what we have. There just aren't enough resources for the city to support the entire population. It's unfortunate, but true." she explains. "Orphans often end up as unregistered citizens when their parentage can't be found or proved, and unregistered citizens can only become registered by either being adopted by a registered citizen or by paying a large fee and passing a battery of physical and mental exams."

Kasha comes up and hugs around her mother's arm, and Miranda smiles down at her. "Kasha was actually an unregistered until she met me. But, there are so many more after the Blast Fall."

The officers look over as Touta approaches, and the blonde takes the emerald. "Good work. I figured one of you would return it." she says, then holds it up and looks at it. "Rose was totally playing that girl. This thing might be worth a lot, but the Undercity does just fine. She was really just after a payday, if you ask me." The red-haired girl, who is typing on a laptop, lets out a thoughtful noise. "Oh hey, looks like they just posted a reward for whoever returns the emerald first."

There's a flash of movement, and the dark-skinned girl suddenly has the emerald. "Hellooooo bonus!" The blonde growls and tackles her. "Hands off, Celica!!" Celica wiggles free with a mischievious grin. "I wonder if I'll get the money before the mall closes?" The two are obviously friends, or at least friendly, so there isn't much to worry about as the blonde starts chasing the other girl about the pool.
Touta Konoe      "Ah, don't be like that Solty. Your heart was definitely in the right place. Just uh...Gotta use your head too sometimes. Trust me, sometimes I forget to do it too so don't feel too bad." He really hadn't meant to make this a lecture or anything of the sort. He just was trying to make a point to a friend.

Touta gets to listen to the details about registered and unregistered civilians and just as he's about to ask a question the officers come up to him and take the jewel, well not like he was gonna hold onto it at least. Still the way the three act do make him feel a bit concerned about how serious they take their jobs. Well, at least they don't look like they'd take advantage of their positions. "Riiight, well, good news for you three is my services come cheap for stopping her~" He says that but he probably wasn't going to take the money. Besides...They were probably going to need it to fix all the cracks in the ground he caused...Whoops!

With the cops handled though, Touta brings his attention back to Miranda and Kasha. "Sorry bout that, but uh, what you were saying before about those unregistered there aren't any rules about going into that Undercity are there?"
Solty Revant      Solty perks up a bit as Touta explains more, and she just mostly looks embarrassed after that. "You're right Mr. Touta...I guess I just get carried away when it's something I care about. I just want everyone to be happy." she says to him, then blinks in surprise as he mentions a price for helping to stop Rose. "Oh, are you a Hunter too, Mr. Touta? I didn't know that." Solty says. The red-head approaches Touta since the blonde and dark-skinned girls are busy. "If there's a fee I'm sure we can arrange for it to be paid. You multiversals are surprisingly helpful. The R.U.C. was sure that only trouble would visit us from that gate."

When he asks about the Undercity, Miranda sighs. "It is technically illegal for unregistered citizens to come to the surface, but I don't think it is actually illegal for registered citizens or registered visitors to go down there. It is highly discouraged though, since a lot of the unregistered harbor a grudge against the surface. They can get pretty dangerous. And unfortunately, since authorities don't operate in the Undercity, there are a lot of criminals down there most of the time."
Touta Konoe      "Hunter?" He knows the word but wasn't really sure what they were implying in that context, but he's got a general idea what she probably means. Though before he can correct it, the red-head approaches him next with assurances of actually getting paid. "Ah, no I was just joking about the fee! Besides, back home we feel a bit worried about random people from the Multiverse popping in to. Never know what to expect, but uh, if you girls have someone extra cash from that payday..." He stops for a moment as he looks back towards Solty and then towards Kasha and Miranda. He then pulls the red-head back over to the rest of their group and brings them into a huddle for...Negotiations? That's probably the best way to describe it.

He does have an idea in mind but he'll need to hagger out an appropriate fee from amongst the popo.
Solty Revant      The red-head looks a bit nervous as she is pulled over. "Uh...there's really no need for discussion. Whatever your standard hourly fee is, plus an appropriate portion of the reward money. That's all I'm really authorized to give you." she says quietly in the huddle, whispering like is expected in a huddle but looking confused about why they are huddling at all. Really everyone in the huddle seems confused other than Touta.

"GET BACK HERE, Celica!!" "Stuff it, Sylvia!!" The blonde and dark-skinned girls are still playing a pretty high stakes game of tag.
Touta Konoe      "Oh, I just kinda wanted to figure out the price without them Solty and her friends knowing. You know, surprising them and what not. If that's the case though..."

Touta takes a moment to think of a good number for what he has in mind. Since he doesn't have a realistic hourly rate he figures he can hike up the price just a bit. So he writes out an number using his finger and palm. He figures what he writes down is a modest amount of credits. "I figure that plus the reward money should be enough for me to buy a lot of cheap food or something right?"

He asks not really sure how much the reward money would actually get him. If he had to give an estimation of how much he was getting, he figured maybe he'd be getting a week or two's worth of cheap food. How much in terms of food he could get here though...Well maybe the red-head with the computer might be able to give him a more realistic amount.
Solty Revant      Roy seems to have no interest in the negotiation (if he was even in the huddle). He didn't help, and knows he has no say in the distribution. Yuto is in the same situation, and the other officers are still too distracted, so really it is just Touta and the red-head. She takes him over to her computer to run the numbers, but is told that government relief programs don't really exist for the unregistered. Resources are specifically restricted from being distributed to the Undercity. But, if he wants to bring in some multiversal supplies, he should be able to get quite a bit of low grade government or food stamps level of rations. Probably enough for a single family for a few months, actually. But, he is also told that the Undercity's population is fairly large. Every little bit helps, but overall his donation really won't make a dent in the needs of the unregistered citizens.
Touta Konoe      "Huh, that's the case huh..." He was mostly huddled with the cops cause he didn't want to get any of Solty or her group excited for nothing. Still the news was definitely a bit on the rougher side. Seemed like with these restrictions, even if he ended up getting reward money of his own, he wouldn't be able to allocate the private funds to trying to make a dent in the situation. Sounds like this entire world needed some sort of governemental reform or something."Alright, well if that's the case I'll just take my cut."

It's probably not much but maybe even if somewhat indirectly that gem could be used to try and help those unregistered folk. If anything even a small dent was better than nothing.
Solty Revant      The red-head nods lightly, sighing a bit. "It isn't that no one wants to help him. This planet is pretty delicate. There isn't a lot of fresh water or area to produce food, and you can't go too far outside the city or you risk entering the-...." She stops, then mmphs. "...anyway...it's for the survival of everyone that the basic necessities be carefully distributed. You'll probably have better luck buying some things offworld and bringing them back here." she says, then holds out a hand. "If you have your visitor registration card I can actually send you the credits right now."
