S6     Considering the androids of FANTOM have been the primary contact with Indus up until now, it stands to reason to enter the city through FANTOM's facility and its android occupants. However, only one of the artificial warriors accompanies the group into the final elevator; Striker Six, acting guide.

At a certain point of its descent, the elevator exits the FANTOM facility entirely and travels through a translucent tube, rather than an opaque shaft, revealing the other lifts in the bank alongside, but more importantly-- giving a view of the city that exists within the great wall. At a glance, it could be mistaken for a megalopolis from a modern Earth; tall structures of metal and glass, clustered together to form artificial canyons. Under closer scrutiny, the construction is incredibly ornate; all curves and soft shapes rather than the usually expected harsh corners. Windows shine with an unnatural, but comforting blue light. Walkways criss-cross the canyon-like gaps between structures formed by the ground level streets, which themselves appear to be multi-tier.

The lift stops at the uppermost street tier, a broad promenade of intricately interlocked stone panels whitewashed and kept in the cool glow of overhead streetlamps. S6 herself is stopped by a humanoid stone construct, covered in glowing lines and muttering in a gutteral Binary-like language. She presents her hand, which is run under a red scanner. Seemingly satisfied, the security golem resumes its patrol amidst the esoterically-dressed citizenry and doll-jointed androids occupying the street.

"Welcome to Indus," S6 states, lowering her hand to her side. She turns, glancing over her shoulder, "I'm afraid I'm not the best of guides you could have, but I will endeavor to direct each of you to where you wish to be." Her POD chimes, presenting a packet of data for those compatible with it.

-AREA MAP PROCURED. UPLOAD IN PROGRESS.-
Eggman      Doctor Eggman probably shouldn't be allowed to be here.

Doctor Eggman probably shouldn't be allowed to be *most places*. The big, bald gentleman with his big bad goggles and his big bad belly tends to stand out even if you ignore that he literally calls himself The Most Nefarious Supervillain The World Has Ever Known. In general, he's the kind of person who says 'to hell with the common sense of the world', a thing that probably doesn't fly especially well in most law-abiding civilizations.

That's before you get to the weird robot floating next to him.

It's a floating, silver, robotic humanoid hedgehog. It's sleeker than the last, more cartoony, one, with a sort of half-step between it and Metal Sonic - no jet engine, but slim limbs, with more spines down the back but obviously less weaponry. Silver Sonic Mk. III escorts the Doctor as they go up the lift, a looming, dangerous presence that stands out even amongst the androids of the city.

The Doctor's also whistling to himself and playing with a touchpad. The touchpad has his Eggman Empire symbol branded on the back. If questioned, he calls it the *Eggscreen*, and turns it around to reveal that he is apparently just scribbling a design for a hyper-advanced robot on it with his stylus.

Silver Sonic stares down the POD with its single red eye-visor.

"Oh, I'm going nowhere in particular," the Doctor says as Silver Sonic floats over next to him at the door opening, "Why don't we just take a look around, hmmmm?"

He adjusts his glasses (the goggles are on top of his head).

"I'm sure there's bound to be something interesting,"

That your Council doesn't want us to see

That I can do something awful with

That I'll be able to tear apart for my own benefit

That tells me where the magic comes from so I can start stealing it

"That we can use to understand the situation better," he finishes finally.

     Silver Sonic beeps.
Shyra Shyra arrives on scene, following the others through the checkpoints into the well-guarded city proper. On the descent, she looks through the translucent wall, gasping in shock as she stares out over the city. Wow... I've never seen anything like this! She says, gaping like a rube while they disembark. The healer looks heavily intimidated already at even the tarnished glory of the city alone.

Don't worry. You'll be great! Shyra supplies, being supportive of her fellow Paladin... But then she does pause, looking around uncertainly. Um.... What exactly was our main quest for this area? She asks. I'm sorry, I had forgotten...
Damocles Damocles is another man that kind of stands out.  Thanks to being over 10 feet tall and wearing ominous armor covered with skulls and glowy bits, with a hood that casts his face in shadow except for two glowing violet eyes.

In order to stand out a bit less, Damocles decided to throw a giant poncho over himself.  The ponco depicts a cat drinking a margarita.  He doesn't know anything about the local culture, so this has as good a chance as anything else to blend in.  Plus, he lost a bunch of money at the casino the other day trying to figure out how someone was cheating at cards, and this was the cheapest X^3L poncho he could find.

He looks around a little, paying a bit of attention to the random robots.  Where he's from, autonomous robots always mean trouble.  Still, they seem...well, let's be fair.  They seem like trouble, but trouble for someone else, which is good enough for Damocles.  Instead, he looks back at their guide when she offers to lead them somewhere.

"Do you have some sort of center for arcane studies here?  I could start there.   Also, I have no idea what our objective is here."
Tamamo     Tamamo no Mae arrives in much her 'usual,' that obviously foreign dress of flowing silk and ambiguous religious origin, bedecked in gold. Though she had asked prior to her arrival what might be suitable or unsuitable, part of the answer had been a local interest in the foreign, and so she is content to immediately present herself in all her decidedly foreign glory.

"Oh, are all the buildings of such a height? I suppose one might need such, with such respect paid to a city's walls. The usual manner of spilling beyond the confines would not go well for them, is it not?" She admires the architecture as well as her outsider sensibilities allow, smiling pleasantly, though with less understanding of the construction or aesthetic purposes than some.

Tamamo nods to Eggman, eyes sliding between him and Silver Sonic, then explains for Shyra's benefit. "This world has some concerns regarding the limits upon their supplies, but they seem to not yet quite understand their predicament. Some efforts are underway to find solutions to these, but for the moment," she half-turns, including S6, "I would find some members of the council with whom to speak, that we might establish such rapport and cooperation. I fear there is rather less time for a general tour, in my own case, though it does seem a city of interesting sights."
Shigure     Shigure, after everything going on lately, has arrived to accompany the group. The young-looking woman stands quietly, pensively even, as the lift descends and finally lets the group out at mostly ground-level. "I wish to speak to some of the local populace, find out their take on this situation." she finally says, eyeing Eggman briefly before looking back at S6. The POD's datapackage is accepted, a fairy wearing a headset and carrying a massive(by comparison) box with tech-bits sticking out of it perched on the destroyer's shoulder. This fairy adjusts her glasses, and starts punching buttons on the box, finally printing a map out for the destroyer girl to view, it's printed like a seachart, the buildings being islands, the streets shallow waterways.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has had more contact with people outside of the City and the android than anyone else form it. She was rather curious about how the people lived to be honest. Also their attitudes on several issues. There was only one way really to do this it.

Was to go and check things out. She takes a moment to look o er the city and it does feel like home in some ways at least for a moment, the walkways are something that is not so common but the stone constructs swiftly distract her until S6 speaks up, she'll attempt to tap the local network to get a map for herself if it's permitted.

"Thank you S6, and honestly, I know you and I4 better than anyone else from your world."

SHe fall in a bit behind Shyra whose a bit wonderstruck by the city.

"It's something isn't it? I just wish to get a better feel for the world as well Shyra. Namely I want to talk to hte locals as well."

At that Kotne will also see if there is any public information network she can tap into. She also gives Eggman a bit of wary look then looks to Shigure happy to see her from the look on her face.
Lilian Rook     Because of the exact same thing about I4 suggesting foreign dress and the local fashion switch appeal, Lilian has been oddly well-prepared for this one. Something like the expensive local fashions isn't hard to procure for later, and for making a 'foreign' impression, she's already accompanying about the most Japanese of Japanese anything that someone can be without also being a samurai ninja on top of it.

This informs the other half of a dress decision, which involves having come into highly modernized red and white shrine maiden-esque outfit made of multiple different silks and accompanied by 'something that looks like gold but certainly isn't' jewelry in the form of a white gold lily hair clip and black and white jade studded earrings. It's *absolutely* cultural appropriation in many senses, but it was also a gift, and she has the hair to pull it off. Ignore the fact that there are trace elements of magic running through the whole thing from the skirt to the semi-detached sleeves to the stockings. Ignore the rather ominous looking black odachi sheathed on her back.

She hates having to ride the elevator with Damocles and Eggman. She doesn't even hide it. For two different reasons, it seems. Immediately getting as much space as possible and tugging Tamamo to a reasonable distance, she says "They'll let just anyone in won't they?" easily loud enough to be heard. "A wine mom poncho, really?"

She's also totally not above checking a map upload, tapping the tiny smart device embedded in a choker to review the holographics. She also refrains from ripping on Eggman's fashion, possibly to be at least that courteous, possibly because it's actually kind of swag. "Striker Six." she calls out, in *exactly* the sort of tone someone around here might demand an android's presence with sort of verbal finger snapping that takes rehearsal to get right. "Is there any salient reason why we couldn't just go to the council building right now? Or, failing that, where would we find at least two members off-duty?"

And then a look around the city, taking all of three seconds to form an opinion. "Good lord, they just didn't know when to stop when building this place did they? No wonder they're running out of energy. This is absurd. For completely boring people, too. Magic to run the lightbulbs. How spoiled can you get?"
S6     The security golem, roughly the same size as Damocles' power armor, stops to examine him in a similar fashion to how it halted S6. However, it does not accost him with its gutteral non-words. Seemingly satisfied after a moment, the expressionless visor-like face swings away from him to Silver Sonic Mk3. The robotic hedgehog /is/ presented with that same rumbling method of address. S6's POD chimes, drawing the golem's attention. Its faceless gaze swings towards Eggman, and then it simply decides to leave without further inspections.

Looks like it wasn't stopping possibly armed individuals, but /artificial/ ones.

S6 considers Tamamo and Damocles' comments, touching her chin with one curled finger, "The Ministry of Power directly oversees the mana turbine and the capacitor system which powers the city. But it may be more beneficial to approach the Ministry of Magecraft first."

Kotone is able to access a public network, a sort of local internet. And like any network in a major metropolis, she's bombarded with advertisements for boutiques, restaurants, products, and services. A map was actually provided by S6's POD, so there's no need to dig for it through that particular mess. She also finds the locations of the main offices for various ministries, which the POD updates on its map; the ministries of Power, Magecraft, Technology, Transportation, Peace, Health, Defense, and the Interior.

S6 snaps to when Lilian calls her name, more out of reflex to the tone used than anything else. Her response is curt, "The council is not currently in session; its members are overseeing their core organizations." She tilts her head down in thought, "To your second inquiry; I only know that General Lagilis attends a series of bars after the work day has concluded, in the company of several soldiers. The other Councilmembers' recreational preferences are not publicly documented."
Eggman      Lilian's obvious provocation gets a grin from Eggman. His glasses gleam ominously. He adjusts them after a moment and looks over at Damocles. "A rough night, it seems, hmmmm?"

Silver Sonic's visor just tilts slightly, glowing red eye(s?) focusing on Lilian with that ominous *whirrr* that creepy robots tend to make as it hangs there in the air. Its feet don't even touch the ground. It doesn't make any noise other than that *whirr* - no audible hum of machinery, no thrumming of some sort of engine. It's just hovering in the air like it's telekinetic. It's probably *not* telekinetic but it's certainly...*very* creepy.

Eggman taps on his Eggscreen as the security golem comes up. Silver Sonic tilts its gaze up to meet the golem's with another, longer whirr. It's, again, very very ominous. The machine is about to power up (and quite obviously so) when Eggman simply waves his hand; Silver Sonic powers down.

     S6 gives them directions.

Eggman flicks his Eggpad a few times. A hovering map appears in front of it. "Let's see. Ah, yes, there's what I'm interested in."

"Well, ta-ta," He says cheerfully, "Come along, Silver Sonic. We're going to go take a look at their power supply and speak to the incompetent-in-chief."

Eggman waves over his shoulder. Silver Sonic turns away from the group and hovers after him. "Ah, please, don't worry about me. I'm certain I'll be quite alright."

     That's probably the problem.
Damocles "It's cultural," Damocles responds stuffily to Lilian's disdain.  "I wouldn't expect you to understand.  /Gaijin/."  He actually doesn't know what that word means, but he heard it used similarly a while ago when he was in a game store.

At Eggman's question, he gives a slight smile, and while the smile itself is obscured by his hood, the wry grin is reflected enough in his eyes to be clear.  "Science can be expensive.  Someone was using magic to cheat at cards and I wanted to figure out how, but I had to keep playing to stay at the table."

At the mention of the Ministries of Power and Magecraft, Damocles puts a more serious face on. Something about the Ministry of Power sounds suspect to him.  Mana turbines sounds like a very good way to destabilize the local aetheric lines, but he doesn't know enough about local magical theory to really say one way or the other.  So it's best to start at the bottom, he decides.

"Fair enough.  I'll go accost the Ministry of Magecraft and see what falls out.  I'll contact you if I discover anything."
Shigure     Shigure ponders her options. She could go wandering and just trying to talk to any locals she meets, but that would likely prove futile and just waste time. Instead, when Eggman makes to leave the group, the destroyer folds up her map and skipjogs a little to catch up with him. "I shall come with you, Doctor. It wouldn't do if you got lost somehow." she says, clasping her hands behind her back and leaning forward a little, looking up at the taller scientist with a soft smile.

Yeah, she's quietly calling him out.
Tamamo     Tamamo recognizes Damocles by his voice, but chooses not to comment upon his gambling. Those are personal weights to bear. Lilian gets a knowing look as Tamamo is tugged aside, stepping over in those incredibly (and needlessly, in such a doubtlessly clean-kept environ) tall sandals of hers. "They are not quite so concerned with the names of their help, so long as they provide some benefit, I suspect."

S6 answers, and Tamamo speaks again, mostly to Lilian, as her personal companion for this venture. "A general and a minister of magecraft. Ah, but a general might not care much for the origin of one's supply line. Magecraft does seem the more immediate choice, no? Perhaps the ministry itself will hold all necessary answers or, at least, a starting point of a trail. I should think our efforts most successful in meeting any of these figures together, but we might have differing methods in the meantime, Lilian."

That more or less decides a route, but there's still all the specifics involved, which will come down to just what greets them at this institute of magecraft. "But then," Tamamo wonders aloud, "if all their works are done through magic, would 'magecraft' not encompass all their works?"
Damocles Damocles glances towards Tamamo at her statement on Magecraft.  "That's a good question. I just bet a place called 'The Ministry of Magecraft' has a very bureaucratic definition of what 'magecraft' is."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa gets Lilian is not happy about Eggman and Damocles. Kotone her self is concerned about this as well, however. Shigure handles keeping an eye on Eggman and she now thinks about Damocles for a moment as she gets the local internet. She gets hit with so many popups from sources her normal filters are not ready for.

Thankfully she's got the map from POD, and she will end off cutting the connection after noting some of the more interesting shops for later.

, For now, she's curious about many of the ministries that are listed however she thinks two would be best suited to her going to check out first. The Ministry of Technology.

Kotone then turns her head to Damocles.

"Do you even know what that word means or it's the context?"

She'll set off for Ministry of Technology looking to chat up any people on the way asking about weather life, if there is anything interisng going on.
Lilian Rook     "In the sense that an institute of science would encompass everything that modern humans have done." Lilian replies to Tamamo. "It's bad naming. Or rather, it tells you that, at least, it's an institute regarding the production of hard, useful data about physical things, rather than specialized in applying something, like medicine, or specialized in nonsense like sociology. That's my read of it anyways."

But there's no way she can make herself ignore Damocles. Not from the moment he opens his mouth. Staring him dead on, despite nearly five feet of height difference, she replies in absolute deadpan, "Yes ma'am. Sorry ma'am. I'll fetch my manager right away."

Eggman gets off easier. "Does someone need to have a bad night to not be terribly pleased about having a self-professed supervillain walking around in the AO?" It takes about two seconds of chattering to place it. "So, they invited you here, and they probably --no, definitely-- think they're going to outsmart you, and make off with what you have without any hooks." That, instead of Eggman just existing presently, gets her to make a hard, unpleasant expression.

She has no idea if Silver Sonic is actually sapient, but still says "Try me, smart-oven. You're the robot. Guess who gets line tackled by automated security here." Eggman probably figured that one out forever ago if he's shutting it down, or so Lilian assumes.

She only has one particular parting comment when he leaves. It's not for the audience. It's acoustically aimed directly at him: "Whatever you get up to, if it gets in my way, don't expect me to stand in a corner harrumphing and verbally finger wagging like the rest of these no doubt will."

But her general demeanor, from her physical tension to her loaded voice, smooth out considerably when Tamamo has her pick. The woman's ability --or rather, willingness-- to remain achingly polite under practically all circumstances continues to impress her. "Let's be off, then! That information about the general is useful, but only once we're at the stage of 'discussing' their Nullborn operations. Are we arriving 'straight away', or taking the scening route."

Still poking and prodding at her projected map like only someone who grew up with the technology would in company, she offhandedly asks S6 "By the way, where exactly is all the city's power generation? It's sucking it out of the ground, yes? It doesn't visibly seem to be organized around power plants from this direction."
Shyra     Shyra perks as the department of Health is mentioned, but it looks like that's not an optimal use of their time. Um... She emits, but then Robotnik hauls off to do something moderately ominous that someone here will probably eventually regret. Shyra watches Shigure follow, and her expression becomes Concerned visibly at this fact, but she says nothing, apparently trusting the warship to be able to handle herself without someone nannying her.

This leave everyone else who seems to be generally meandering in the direction of Magecraft. Shyra nods, following along and staying out of the path of the sniping going back and forth. She doesn't have heal spells for /those/ burns. Even so, her expression is intent, as if she's trying to think of something more complicated than normal for the healer.
S6 IN TRANSIT    As those assembled disperse to their various locations, despite going in different directions, the experience is much the same. Groups of citizens in aristocratic finery, silks and velvets in stark color combinations, with their attendant doll-jointed androids. Compared to S6, these are clearly noncombat models, servants and assistants and secretaries and more obviously magitechnical in appearance. The more colorful clothing however is a source of curious glances and consideration.

MINISTRY OF POWER (en-route)
Perhaps two blocks from the dome-topped structure identified as the city power plant and seat of the Ministry of Power, Eggman is directly addressed by a local; a woman in a stark white silk dress covered in thread-thin silver filigree, the only splash of color being the scarlet lenses of her goggles which completely obscure her eyes. This woman spends a remarkable amount of time eyeing Silver Sonic, then Shigure and the fairies that Shigure sometimes employs. When she finally addresses Eggman directly, her tone is enthused, "Impressive handiwork. This is entirely mechano-electrical? What sort of power source is it running that could still support a nullgrav? This degree of miniaturization looks like it'd be a fun challenge."

She gestures, "The other two have obvious magical influence," referring to Shigure and Shyra with a nod, is she assuming the shipgirl and healer are the Doctor's creations as well? "But this metal one is very different." Placing a hand on her hip, the woman nudges the nosepiece of her goggles with one fingertip, "Professor Palmarili, at your service, though I can tell you'd have no need for my skillset."
S6 MINISTRY OF MAGECRAFT (en-route)
People keep a wide berth from Damocles. They kind of have to, given how huge he is. Despite the poncho, some seem to just avoid him in the same way they avoid the trundling security golems that mill about here and there. Perhaps they just assume the massive marine isn't as aware of his surroundings.

"Mm," S6's POD produces a holographic projection, and she gestures, "The Mana Turbine is located here." She indicates a low, dome-roofed building near the center of the city, "However, we are going in the opposite direction-- Here. The Ministry of Magecraft." Which would be a more spire-like skyscraper structure.

From street level, it's somewhat hard to pick out which one is that spire until the quartet is almost on top of it. S6 gets the door, which is large and pretentious enough to fit even two Space Marines riding each others' shoulders. And the interior is every bit as opulent and wasteful as one might expect from the exterior. Lots of filigree, a large deal of artistic merit but very little discernable function. The front desk is managed by androids with visible joints, a far cry from S6's realistic exterior, who also aren't quite sure what to make of two foreigners, a military robot, and Whatever Damocles Counts As. The only clear human in the foyer is a willowy man with gray hair, wrapped up in a double-breasted jacket and slacks with golden buttons and buckles, just exiting an elevator with an entourage of attendant androids.
S6 MINISTRY OF TECHNOLOGY (enroute)
Kotone's route to the Ministry of Technology takes her through a different part of the city, filled with restaurants and shops. It becomes clear however that the Tech ministry is near the Power ministry- and that the GPS just routed her this way because of all the ads she got exposed to.

Barring any stops to do any shopping, Kotone's path takes her on a direct course for the Professor while she's speaking with Eggman. In fact, once the cyborg enters Palamarili's line of sight, she pauses mid-sentence to give Kotone a look-over with those expressionless red-lensed goggles, before returning to her line of thought.

This woman had stopped Eggman right in front of the Ministry of Technology. The door is literally 3 steps behind her, with the Ministry of Power visible just a bit further down the street. They really are just located that close together.
Eggman      Silver Sonic continues staring at Lilian right up until Eggman snaps his fingers. It goes floating after him. "If I was worried about automated defenses," Eggman points out as he leaves, waving over his shoulder, "Then I would probably have to stop calling myself the most nefarious supervillain the world has ever known. Honestly. Who lets a glorified autoturret beat them when they're a master of machinery?"

"If it gets in your way then please feel free to do as you like. Your sort always does." It's hard to read that response to Lilian - does he mean her sort as in an officer of the law? Is he drawing a parallel to G.U.N. based on her attitude in the elevator? Or is he just commenting on hot-headed youth and misreading the situation entirely?

It's probably not the last one.

Shigure and Shyra go following after the Doctor. Eggman doesn't appear to mind. Indeed, he slows his step to accomodate her. "You don't really need an excuse to follow me around. I know how you useless hero-types are. The only reason you even bother making them is to look like you have the moral high ground."

He doesn't even break look at them. He does, however, turn around every so often, walking backwards and holding up his Eggscreen. It is obviously taking pictures, though they're a touristy sort of picture - just grabbing images of everything. He flicks it around a few times to just upload it into Silver Sonic's memory banks before someone tries to wipe the data or something ridiculous like that.

Palmarli offers her services. Eggman places his hand against his chest and bows. "I am Doctor Ivo Robotnik, the greatest supervillain the world has ever known. Please. Call me Doctor Eggman."

A fun challenge. His lips curl upwards in a hidden sneer as his face points at the ground. His moustache bristles. Oh yes. A *fun challenge*.

When he straightens, it's gone. "A proprietary source of my own design. Just something I whipped up a while ago as a testbed. None of the technology in it is especially impressive." That's true, too. It's not empty boasting. Silver Sonic Mk III is a set of discarded prototypes deemed unsuitable for Metal Sonic's final form - one-offs he decided didn't have enough power, speed, or durability for his ultimate masterpiece. The whole Silver Sonic line is just testbed machines, but nobody *here* would know that - Eggman's craftsmanship is beautiful.

"I might even be willing to share it with you. While I have absolutely no need of your services, I understand that you might have need of mine." Now his characteristic grin appears once more, wide and somewhat ominous just by the glinting of his glasses.

"I am, after all, an expert in robotics. The leading expert in the Multiverse, you could say." That's *probably* true. Stark might give him a run for his money (and probably outclasses him with AI) but Eggman is pretty willing to bet he can back up the claim for robotics at the very least. "My credentials are impeccable - and my robotics development happens to include several experimental power sources that I understand you might be *quite* in need of."

Eggman folds his hands behind his back, the Eggscreen tapping against the back of his fat frame. "So now that I have told you what *I* can do for *you*, why don't you tell me what *you* can do for *me*? And in the process you might tell me a bit about this power system that's giving you so much trouble, so that I can figure out just *which* of my remarkable engines is most suitable for your needs, hmmm?"
Shigure     Shigure shrugs a little. "Fine, I don't trust you further than I could throw a battleship with my bare hands." she replies in the same soft tone she uses pretty much all the time. "At least you are honest about your intentions." The warshipgirl then remains quiet, her lookout fairy eying the picture taking and Silver Sonic even while the black-haired girl pointedly /doesn't/ look at them.

Once the local addresses Eggman, however, she turns her attention to the interaction, all but pricking her ears up, but remaining quiet.
Damocles Damocles takes a moment to admire the scale of the building that the Ministry is housed in before entering.  This sure feels like home.  This place may not be an Imperial Hive World, but whoever designed this city would certainly have found some friends in the Imperium's architectural design arm, whatever that is called. Probably the Architecnarium or something.

Well, enough feeling nostalgic for a home that would burn him on sight.  He enters, staff easily at his side as he walks in looking like a senile Gandalf in purple.  He takes a moment to consider the robotic secretary, realizing that he was never actually given any kind of cover story about why he's here.  Well, when you have no convenient lies, might as well try the truth.

"Good day.  I'm Damocles, scholar and scientist of arcane theory. I was hoping I could speak to one of your ambient aetherics specialists.  Who is your resident that deals with public questions regarding your work here?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa thinks normally splitting up isn't the best idea, in this situation however it's a good one. Cover more ground and gather more information in line with their skills. She is listening to Eggman as they go he can be interesting to listen to somewhat but she doesn't think he'll pull something with this many eyes on him. Then again he might? That line of thought distracted by Palamarili. She'll look her over for a moment and tilts her head.

"Yes? Is there a problem?"

she asks in a friendly and chipper voice.

She'll keep moving once anything is sorted out. She has some idea of why the person reacted to her like that, but hey who knows.
Tamamo     Though somewhat surprised to find that they are traveling in the same direction, and though Lilian had been less than welcoming in this particular regard, Tamamo still speaks to Damocles pleasantly enough as they walk. "I am not quite so certain that we had occasion to be introduced at the Platinum Casino." Politely, "I am Tamamo no Mae, as you may hear." And entirely unaware they'd been in Whitewall at once, though not quite at the same time. "May I know your name?"

She looks back toward Shyra, and flashes that kind of 'everything is well in hand' smile. Even when it isn't, it's a good expression to master.

At the continuing sight of nobles and their mechanical servants, it isn't the presence of servants so much as the differences she notices. Those joints, in particular, the lack of a facade. "I wonder," she says to no single person in particular, "why the androids within the city lack that human-like realism. It is a mark of quality for a doll to be indistinguishable from a beautiful human, no? Have they some other aesthetic preference in mind?" The big security bots aren't even in the same mental space for her, so she doesn't mention them.

Finally, they come upon the ministry and, fortunately, there is at least one human in residence, if only temporarily. She mentally picks at some possible words, cultural understandings in mind. A hard mistake is unlikely, if they are like to take any strangeness as inevitable from a foreigner. An experimentally unusual speech shouldn't go amiss, unless I4 was wrong on every count.

"Greetings and salutations, sir. I am Tamamo no Mae, Amaterasu-omikami no Bunrei, Paladin Chevalier." She's interrupting him, no doubt, and they came without an appointment, but the manner of their entry to the city hadn't given the opportunity for anything else. Not when they'd left the matter of dealing with the multiverse to FANTOM like they had. "Seeking cooperation in matters of mutual interest and import, our travels bring us first to the Ministry of Magecraft, that we might meet with those possessing such decision-making power as would facilitate our goals. Please excuse the imposition, but might you be one such we seek, or else assist in this matter?"

Having one for every occasion, Tamamo accompanies her speech with an entirely different sort of smile. This one carries subtle but still potent levels of magical compulsion. Yes, it's an interruption, perhaps an imposition, but she is clearly an important, trustworthy person, and anyone who looks into her eyes can know this immediately, by their own gut instinct, to be the truth. Going along with what she wants is just the smart move, the winning move for anyone unsure exactly what is going on, because she has no such reservations.
S6 POWER/TECH
"Ho!" Palamarili folds her arms, "Successive prototyping? You're either working on something truly impressive or have already finished it." Her head tilts slightly, "Curious, curious. I do find the design interesting. Animal-derived isn't an Indus design conceit, but it certainly has an undeniable charm." Her lip curls, "I can see the expertise that went into it, even if this might be just junk compared to a presumably finished product."

She lifts a hand to gesture, "I imagine this one had a very different design goal, then?" She indicates Shigure again, "The magical density is far higher, with next to no detected ferrous materials. Still rather impressive." Those scarlet lenses fixate on Eggman's face again, "But I should be clear-- I did not address you because I 'needed your services'. I sighted a mechanical curiosity and someone I theorized to be its designer; which you have confirmed, thank you, Doctor." She folds her arms, her tone shifting from personable to serious, "However, as this city's chief engineer, I wouldn't mind hearing what problems you think our power sources are having. Consider it a hotline straight to the top floor-- Elena Palamarili, Minister of Technology. I'll see to it your concerns are investigated soundly, on my pride as an engineer."

When Kotone speaks up, Elena raises a hand in her direction, "You're very mechanically interesting. I like machines. But I just got handed an accusation, so please give me a moment."
Lilian Rook     "Good to know." is all Lilian says to S6's directions. She files away that bit about the mana turbine for . . . later.

Entering the ministry, she also isn't one to scoff and moan about the wastefulness of it. It's not her style, certainly, nor resembling anything that seems especially culturally significant rather than simply pretty, but there's not much point in trying to judge the relative taste of one building in a completely different culture she is unfamiliar with, and huge foyers filled with the most expensive materials around aren't exactly out of her experience anyways.

She remains conversational with Tamamo, since they're taking the long way. "It could be that they're simply cheaper. Defense tends to end up with the most expenditure on equipment. It could be that they just wouldn't like machines that too closely resemble humans; ordering them around past a point might feel like slave ownership, or they might become hesitant to throw them out or replace them."

The kitsune also has the minister immediately in hand. She puts on her hardest poker face to suppress a grin at the way Tamamo had chosen to start speaking based off of I4's recommendation. For the moment, since there's no point in barging in to introduce herself, she focuses on . . .

    Something.
S6 MAGECRAFT
Damocles' question is met with that kind of empty smile that only a true machine can provide. The answer is direct, "A new line of research in relation to leylines has begun under Doctor Mellakou's direction in connection to ambient mana levels since the start of the Nullborn war. Inquiries shall be directed to Doctor Mellakou on these matters. Please present identification if you wish to be included in this research effort."

S6's answer for Tamamo is also simple, "Residential units are older models. The pace of development is slower when survival is not on the line." She gestures to the receptionist androids, "These are 3rd generation; two Gunners and a Tanker. Retired former military units. Brawler 8 is 5th generation and barely serviceable. I4 and myself are 7th generation units. The technology is far more developed."

"Ah, you recognize them?" the elderly man pipes up distractedly, "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. The new databases really do make all the difference." When people start actually talking to him, he's forced to pay more attention, quickly ushering his attendents on with previous assignments. However, the first thing he gets out when he actually beholds Tamamo and Lilian is a surprised noise. Composing himself, "Ah. You must be from Xia, with outfits like that. We hadn't heard from Xia in a long time so this is good news." He hears out the rest of what Tamamo has to say, giving her due consideration while cradling his elbow in one hand, the other stroking the graying fuzz adorning his chin, "It's no imposition, ladies. But you have fortuitously come across Doctor Kiriakos Rossilis, Minister of Magecraft. I oversee everything that takes place in this building as a member of the Indus Council." Reaching down from his chin, he adjusts his collar as one might adjust a tie, straightening his coat, "Just what could I do for you?"
Shigure     "I am not a creation of the Good Doctor. My name is Shigure, and I am a wholly different being." remarks Shigure at being accused of being something Eggman created. "A 'tool spirit' to use the laymans term. I am Shigure, second ship of the Shiratsuyu-class of destroyers." a bow is given, but since she's not an engineer, she actually allows Eggman to continue to take point, though she listens rather intently to the discussion.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks at Eggman meets Palamarili. She watches the exchange and talk about tech as she looks over Eggman's creation. She watches with interest not wanting to butt in between the conversation as they look to Shigure for a moment. She looks the minster of Technology over for a moment and she bobs her head a bit understanding.

"My name is Kotone Yamakawa and it is not a problem. If you have questions I'd be happy to answer them as best I can when you finish up."

She will wait now and watch how the rest of that plays out an interesting look on her face.
Eggman      "Silver Sonic Mark Three is a bit closer to the finished product, but the technologies involved in his design are, indeed, nothing compared to my beautiful Metal Sonic." That's putting it mildly. This thing could maybe break the sound barrier on a good day.

Eggman drums his fingers against his arm. "Oh, yes. I can see you're doing so very well for yourselves in the middle of your post-apocalyptic hole in the ground."

Again, his smile widens a little. "I understand that you're only qualified to teach, Professor, from whatever local university you may have attended, so I'll slow things down a tiny bit to help you keep up. Feel free to raise your hand in the manner to which you are accustomed if I am at any point going too fast for you."

Eggman snaps his fingers. The Eggscreen projects a floating #1 in the air.

The Eggscreen projects a holographic image of Indus. "This appears to be one of the last bastions of the human race still remaining. That means either you have so *catastrophically* destroyed yourselves through martial, economic, or ecological incompetence as to be reduced to nothing but a sliver of what humanity once was. Since nature-" he says the word like it's dirty, "-appears to be reclaiming what was lost I doubt it was a nuclear war or similar military conflict. Since most of the buildings have fallen into intense and immediate disrepair I doubt it was economic."

Eggman snaps his fingers again. #2.

"Since the most likely cause of your destruction is therefore *ecological* in nature - something that would unbalance the ecosystem to the point of a *severe* reaction, one that appears to have, oh, my, let's see,"

He swipes his finger in the air, and the map of Indus appears projected from the Eggscreen, spreading outwards in a decent reconstruction of the nonwalled version, "Reclaimed nine-tenths of your city? That implies that your *ecological* disaster is, indeed, something very, very hostile - usually not brought on by something like 'a depleted atmosphere' or what have you."

Eggman waves his hand, and the map disappears. "Now, try to keep up. This part is the *tricky* part, and I realize that as a Professor you have difficulty following people smart enough to put their degrees to actual work."

     #3.

"If we are to assume that, indeed, this city was reduced to nothing by an aggressive and hostile invasive ecological rebalance - which, I believe, is a fair assumption, given what I know about your home - then we must address the most likely cause. The most likely cause of such a virulent reaction is something to do with a power source. Not necessarily *the* source itself - possibly the runoff, the byproduct, the expulsion, whatever it is.

Eggman produces an *actual fucking pointer* like he's teaching a class as the Eggscreen expands. He taps the air, and it produces an image of a nuclear power plant generating waste, the waste being dumped, the environment warping around it, and eventually, in fast-forward across probably a century, a hostile life form of some sort emerging. It's just a drawing but the point is clear.
Eggman      "You have *Mana Turbines* and a heavy reliance on magic to make up for your enormous mechanical shortcomings." Eggman waves the pointer a bit. "I must therefore assume either this magical reliance is a reaction to your staggering ecological incompetence in order to replace the prior power source, and thus a relatively new technology with potential quirks and flaws that you aren't smart enough to spot, or it is something you have been relying on for years as a result of your inability to innovate new and worthwhile technologies to clean up your own mess."

Eggman presents the pointer at the Professor's face like a rapier. "In either case."

"The Multiverse's greatest roboticist has walked into your home and told you that he can help you with your *problems*, so painfully obvious even this idiot ship could spot them without a spyglass."

     "Now. Let us start over."

"I am Doctor Ivo Robotnik, the greatest supervillain the world has ever known. You have something that intrigues me. I have something you need, besides an actual brain in my head."

"Resources. Technology. Weapons that don't rely on a fickle power source."

     "Now then."

"I would like to inspect your power system. It obviously has flaws and I am happy to correct them. Because, please pay attention, I am much much smarter than you and I have the resources to solve your problems for you while asking for very little in return."

"With that out of the way."

"Are you going to tell me what you can do for me in order to acquire that assistance, or shall I just continue to poke around until I find something interesting and become far less agreeable and instead a far more pressing issue?"
Damocles When asked for his name, Damocles inclines his head politely and introduces himself as, "Damocles, scholar of magic.  Pleased to meet you," to Tamamo.  The robot's response piques his curiosity, and he makes a note of that name, though trying to argue with the robot about his identification is going to be a losing battle.

However, he does catch the conversation going on elsewhere.  He isn't sure of the social hierarchy here, but the 'minister' in a 'ministry' is probably pretty important.  He casually pulls off the silly poncho he was wearing, favoring the imposing, but respectable sorcerorous look of his normal armor and robes, as he approaches the others, interjecting himself as politely as he can into that conversation instead.

"Ah, well met, Doctor Rossilis.  I am Damocles.  I don't speak for my compatriots here, but for my part, I've been studying ambient aetherics for the better part of a century now.  When I heard of your work here, I thought some of my research could prove of value to you here.  I was hoping I could find out more about things to see if I might have something useful to contribute."
Lilian Rook     Blinking thrice and shaking her head a little, Lilian re-focuses on the now. Tapping her radio and murmuring it into it too softly to be heard, after communicating her thoughts to Tamamo, she steps forward and affects a perfectly culturally generically 'eastern' bow, not bothering to disabuse Rossilis of the nature of their arrival by simple omissions; one of the most optimal kinds of white lies.

"That's perfect. We had our aspirations set upon the good fortune of chancing into someone of distinction, not imagining the sheer confluence of ideal circumstance needed to cross paths with the most important figure in Indus." she says, in overwhelming sincerity and an edge of overly traditional formal politeness. 'Christ, this is way more annoying than I thought it would be' is what she thinks to herself, trying to manage a pretentious use of multiple word strings for an introduction.

"A significant number of things, if we could be so bold. Not all of them you might wish immediately to address in a location such as this, in character of company such as these. We have a certain amount of knowledge a priori regarding a number of 'misplaced' androids most certainly abberant from their purportedly assumed status by accident or middle-managed ineptitude. We believe it may be best if we were to speak with you, directly, about the current use of Indus' assets, and their rather limited projection of future use. Away from the undesirable dead weight of the rest of the council. And the army." She looks up at him from her bow meaningfully.
Shyra     Everything is kind of weird. However, Tamamo fl --ashes that smile to Shyra. The assurance that Everything Will Be Fine is implicit, and Shyra also implicitly double-trusts Tamamo. She smiles back, clearly comforted by the gesture.

The healer tagged along with those talking with Rossilis and promptly has ended up super over her head. She stares at Lilian, Rossilis, and Damocles, and the others in turn, trying to follow the conversation of import and process what is happening here. But this isn't something she has any experience with. The city is... very nice. Shyra supplies... And also basically just completely glosses over the horrible problems facing it that are obvious to even casual inspection... And Lilian's massively verbose explanation just leaves the healer floudering. She can't top that! She isn't even sure what Lilian said! But she's not going to ruin things by opening her mouth further, so she waits, providing moral support.

When Eggman starts, Palamarili widens her eyes with interest, resting one hand on her hip and simply listening, observing the presentation. However, as the Doctor states his case with that characteristic flair, her face tilts down slightly, those red-lensed goggles obscuring whatever reaction she might be having outside of that slight body language. She does not, however, do much else beyond lifting her arms to fold them, waiting until the rant has fully concluded; which she confirms with a simple, "Are you finished?"

"Your grasp of our situation is rather strong for a foreigner. The insults were unncessary, but I'll forgive your childishness since you did manage to make some points. I hope you didn't expect me to get angry, or cry and run away. Instead-- You said there was 'something' here that interested you. Whatever I put on offer, you're going to demand whatever that is, so instead of trying to force me to run the guessing game of what you might or might not actually care about, just put your demand on the table as well."

"If you really do come to us out of the goodness of your heart intending to solve all of Indus' problems forever, I certainly hope you have as intimate a knowledge of magitech as I do, considering this entire city runs on it. Nonmagical electrical systems are going to require decades to retrofit and a complete and total ground-up restructing of Indus both technologically and sociologically; While under constant attack by the enemy. You seem to think we're too stupid to have thought of that, did it cross your mind that we considered it already?"

MAGECRAFT
The android addressing Damocles tilts her head slightly, "Good evening, Damocles. However, I require certified identification to appoint you properly to the Ministry of Magecraft research division. Please present your identification." Yes. The decades-old robot secretary is carding the Astartes scholar. When he wanders away, she raises a hand, "We hope to see you again."

Doctor Rossilis strokes his bearded chin once more, regarding Lilian moreso than Tamamo now as she steps up to the plate. Eyes closing briefly, he does gesture in acceptance when called 'the most important figure in Indus' though doesn't say anything to it. His eyebrow quirks with a 'hm'. He doesn't say anything until Lilian is done talking, though. His hand drops from his chin, folding with the other behind his back, "Yes, yes, it seems we have much and more to discuss in less public spaces. I'll make the time for a proper meeting, madams."

It's hard to miss a colossus like Damocles, though, and the Doctor turns to address his approach, "You-- are certainly impressive. And you wish to aid in our magical research?" Closing his eyes, he gestures towards the main desk, "Register with the secretarial androids and they will see you to your project lead." An eye opens in time to catch one of those androids making a 'no good' gesture at him, and he lifts his gaze back to Damocles, "...Hm. On the other hand. I could assign you personally should I have a good idea of what your fields of study are. You mentioned ambient aetherics. Localized energy, leyline studies?" A hand lifts to his chin again, "Mellakou could probably use that kind of expertise."
Shyra Shyra continues to observe the situation unfolding. While the deep unspoken massive political issues are something she doesn't comprehend or want anything to do with, really, she does get a sudden flash of realization, as if she had just remembered something. She rummages around in her robe, and withdraws a little tied cloth bundle. She putters over towards the Doctor, bows, and holds it out to him. Oh, um... I would like to offer you a gift. Inside the bundle is a dozen fresh-baked sugar cookies. I brought enough for your android friends as well... if they might want some? Do they eat? she asks as a couple more bundles appear in her hands.
Damocles Damocles ignores the robot for now, instead focusing his attention on the doctor.  Talking about his work IS one of his favorite things to do, as with any good scholar, but considering his origin, he also has to be a little careful how he handles it.

"Hmm, the nature of my research?" He says as he reaches a hand up to tap a finger thoughtfully against his chin.  "Well, in brief, I'm studying the interaction of magical energy as it transfers to the physical.  The actual relationships between arcane and physical is fairly well mapped, but I've been working to establish the laws of how the two interact, and in doing so better understand precisely how and when energy moves between them."

Damocles motions behind him with his staff, towards the back rooms of the building, adding, "I've heard that you have your own reasons for looking to unlock the laws that govern how energy interacts with the physical.  The objectives might be different, but given how similar the actual work is, I thought some collaboration might benefit us both."
Eggman      "No, actually," Eggman says, snapping his pointer back up and closing it with a smack against his palm, "I am not, in fact, a playground bully. I am neither looking for you to cry and run away nor am I looking for you to get angry and punch me in the head. Only one person has ever punched me in the head." His glasses gleam. "He's been eating through a straw since he was six years old."

That grin is...*really* malevolent...when those glasses do that. Even if he hadn't said that, there's a point where the Doctor just *shifts* from being a little bit insulting, condescending, but still a generally humorous-looking fat man into a *frightening* visage, and it's *exactly* that point, where his shadow casts his emblem across her face and his glasses glitter with malicious intent and his Silver Sonic, hanging over his shoulder, looks *more* than a little bit less weird and a *lot* more than a little bit dangerous.

"I have no interest in helping you out of the goodness of my heart whatsoever. Indeed I have no goodness *in* my heart whatsoever. I am a man powered entirely by spite." That grin really lends itself to things like that. "The reason I am here to help you instead of simply pillage this place by the force of arms you have already deduced that I have is because I am *interested* in *what you MIGHT* have to offer me."

He spreads his arms and shakes his head, and the horrendously malevolent appearance vanishes in a shrug. Now he's back to just kind of looking like a weird fat guy in wading boots pulled up to his belly. "Oh, no, madam. I don't think you're stupid. I think *everyone* is stupid. Don't take it personally. I'm always right about it."

"I can, in fact, rapidly reconstruct massive amounts of infrastructure, and I happen to have an ally who can do the same. Together we can indeed retrofit enormous sections of your city and segment them off with individual power plants for the sake of streamlining your transition. As for societal changes," Eggman waves his hand, "That sounds like your problem, not mine."

"Now. I was originally interested in your power source - I've a few projects that could benefit from it - but frankly you have something much more interesting to me."

Eggman adjusts his glasses. "I want access to FANTOM in exchange for *saving your city*. I think that's a fair deal - don't you?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa listens as the two people with degrees that cost more than her entire body have a go at it. She can see the back and forth between the two and interestingly Palamarili does not cow to Eggman and brings up a response to Eggman's points. she's clearly paying her attention and when things get into the point of replacing the power systems of the city being under siege nearly constantly.

"If you were to take things down to fix it the Nullborn would press the advantage. To even consider it the Nullborn would need to be stopped first."

She does seem eager to talk stop with Palamarili but the thing with Eggman is going to delay that a bit she suspects."

She looks to Eggman for a moment.

"The Nullborn attacks seem to be making a catch 22 here."

Then the Doctor keeps talking and she stares at him for a moment. When he makes what he wants out of this he wants access to FANTOM. Which means I4 and S6. Along with all the other androids serving in it which leaves Kotone /very/ uneasy.

"What's to keep you from just taking the tech and bailing Dcotor? You'd have what you wanted once you have access."
Eggman      Eggman raises an eyebrow. "Do you actually think I would *bother* making the *offer* if it wasn't legitimate? That I would *waste my time* in such a manner? What for? *Entertainment*? If I wanted to waste my time talking to less intelligent people for fun I'd simply talk on the public radio."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Given the sort who call themselves Super Villains? It is something that should be brought up, Doctor Eggman. Given my limited experiance with you."
Eggman      "I try not to blame the rest of the world for its limited faculties," Eggman says idly, "So your ignorance is excused."
S6 TECH
That brief, oppressive malevolence gives Palamarili pause, a clear hesitation in her posture before she recovers her composure. A hand raises, tapping the side of her goggles lightly in thought, "Of course that's what you'd want. You're smart enough to understand that the city's primary defense force can't be surrendered on the whim of a single person, then. It's not my call to make. I will present the argument to the rest of the Council, but I make no guarantees."

Arms lowering, she squints up at Eggman again, "There's also a certain matter of 'trust' when dealing with someone who so proudly declares evil intentions. You're smart enough to understand that. If you really want to play with Magic Dolls, I suggest you assemble a complete proposal for the Council to review. Rather than taking you at your word, which you've repeatedly cast into doubt by calling yourself a supervillain."

MAGECRAFT
Doctor Rossilis lights up when Shyra offers him a gift, accepting it with both hands, "Ah? Oh, thank you, miss. I do appreciate fine cooking." An eye closes, "Those models don't consume human foods, but I will share this with my human colleagues, naturally." He dips his head in appreciation, then turns, handing the cookie bundle to an attending android secretary who had wandered up to stand beside him during the conversation.

"As for you, mister Damocles," His attention returns to the mountainous space marine, "What you describe is what we classify as Aetherial Physics. It's a crucial discipline for understanding devices such as mana collectors and turbines. It's naturally quite important to the future of Indus, so perhaps there's something to be learned between our bases of knowledge." He's awfully pliant. Is this leftover form Tamamo's trick? "I'll see to it you receive a proper badge. As I surmised, Doctor Mellakou's team seems like the closest fit for your talents."
Lilian Rook     Lilian smiles back at Rossilis. It is a practiced, professional smile, but neither a presidential nor corporate nor secretarial smile; it is the kind that comes from a socialite who's just scored a connection or client who they'd considered out of their league. Lilian, of course, considers it no such thing, but it's a look she's been perfecting since she was *twelve* so of course she's great at it. She even has the perfect, slightly saccharine, humbly endeared tone for it, adjusted slightly as per the role of Tamamo's personal vague bodyguard/secretarial/administrative attache figure from afar.

"Wonderful~ I see immediately just what a quantity of good fortune we have had here, without even the need for retrospect. I'm gladdened immeasurably to find that *someone* in this city can recognize something of such considerable importance as to make the imperative time without needless delay." She has to suppress 'dilly dally' as a pretentious extra-word, drawing too closely from the blowhards she knows personally.

"Please afford us the notification as soon as possible." says Lilian, removing a card from the outer fold of her top, of black and platinum vaguely similar to her identification card, though essentially a piece of flexible circuitry imprinted in plastic, so it can be touch scrolled for a variety of personal contacts, prompts, directions, and mapping info, and a photo that through a large amount of circuitous bullshit is a flattering shot of Lilian in her current attire in her current location flatteringly framed against the grandiose architecture and giving a photogenic smile, and a second photo, to be found shortly thereafter, of her with Tamamo no mae offering the card that she is already offering in the exact moment it's given over to the minister.

Because she sure as fuck isn't being shown up by large armour and a gnarled staff. Not while playing the part of a mysterious magician from the far land of Xia.
Eggman      Eggman's smile grows.

"Do you know why I call myself a *supervillain*, 'Professor'?"

The Doctor makes a motion with his hand over the Eggscreen. "It's because heroes get nothing done."

A pop-up appears. It's a plan. It's a *complex* plan. It proposes segmented defense of evacuated areas, a systemic breakdown of the walls and buildings as they're being reworked. It proposes reintegrating whole chunks of the ruins for the defense of Indus, arming them with turrets and floating mecha drones. It grids off the city and selects the most important regions for redevelopment - primarily the outer chunks, to reinforce the walls and start further ruins reclamation. Then it highlights several electrical systems that Eggman is apparently willing to part with - they aren't especially advanced (by his standards) but in conjunction they'll perform more than adequately. They might even be able to supplement the magitechnological systems during the changeover but Eggman's proposal doesn't recommend it.

Doctor Eggman produces a wire from his jacket and plugs it into the Eggscreen. One of his pockets whirrs.

A minute or so later, he's handed the entire plan to the Professor in paper.

"Pocket Printer," he says, tapping his outfit. "Always be prepared."

"I trust that will be sufficient."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa stops the back and forth with Eggman, it's perhaps the best course of action here for the moment as any more verbal sparing wouldn't serve any purpose. She'd also get smashed pretty hard if she keeps going. It might also make things harder for her with Palamarili. She figures with asking the Eggman to bring back his fully written out proposal would give some time to work.

"Well while the Doctor works on that. Did you not have you had some questions for me I'm curious about them."

Then Eggman makes use of his a pocket printer and prints out the full paper it looks like he had it already finished and ready to go.
S6 MAGECRAFT
Rossilis accepts Lilian's offered business(?) card, turning it over in one hand. His eyebrows raise slightly at the qualities of the images on it, and he tucks the card away inside his coat, "Very well, madams. I shall make time for this most important of meetings. Unfortunately, there are certain matters on my plate right now that simply cannot be delayed. You will however receive my first availability." He dips his head once, "If you'll excuse me, I must tend to those same issues immediately. Please enjoy your time in our fair and safe city."

TECH
Professor Palamarili's expression is unreadable behind those goggles, examining the plan projected before her. A hand raises, rubbing at her chin. Her eyebrows raise when she hears a printer going off, and one can only assume bewilderment when she reaches out to accept the stack of freshly printed pages. She flips through them, glancing over some of the diagrams, "I'll pour over this in greater detail when I'm not standing in the street, but this does look promising. Something this large-scale over this timeframe is bound to cause anxiety, but a solid plan will be a comfort."

Her gaze lifts towards Kotone, "Mm? Oh. The cyborgization was a curiosity. I simply became somewhat distracted. We'll have to have a less one-sided conversation another time." Her gaze returns to the proposal in her hands, flipping another page, "Mm. As for handing over FANTOM-- We'll be discussing that demand at length before we employ your services, Doctor."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks to Professor Palamarili she nods once. "I'll give you my contact information then." She notes and then she will look to Doctor Eggman for a moment longer and nods. She knows it's best to not keep the Professor any longer and with Shigure keeping an eye on him things should be good, right?

"Good Day Professor, Doctor Eggman."

With that she'll carry on her way.
