Scene #7175: Economic Stimulus

Evangeline McDowell	Ochashimaya Connect! mall is arguably brighter during the night than during the day, because the blazing neon-and-hologram lighting isn't a victim to overcast weather and it sits in the shade of much taller buildings for most of every afternoon. It's two to four floors of red-and-white-and-rainbow sensory overstimulation connected by river-themed sky bridges, and typically packed so full of people at every hour of the day that it puts some of the lesser-grown mosh pits to shame. That is to say, it elicits extremely loud whining from Evangeline McDowell, who had never been in a mosh pit and who would probably become very violent very quickly if she were tossed into one. The whining is lost under the cacophony of hundreds of advertisements playing atop the hubbub of thousands of shoppers. The shinkicking is less lost.
Rean Schwarzer	Rean is here, dressed in a red sweatshirt and jeans. His movements are a bit slower than normal, and there's bags under his eyes, but he's fine. Fine and totally up for going shopping with his /real/ friends and his friend's...housemate? How were Touta and Evangeline related again? "Hey, Evangeline." Rean says, giving her a small wave.
Touta Konoe	Touta's become accustomed to Kitty's whining. Enough so that he knows the best remedy to deal with them. Excessive amount of headpats. He tries to speak up a bit louder over the voices though to try to communicate but how well that'd turn out, hard to say, "I think we're almost at the meet-up spot!" Truth, be told he's never even heard of this place before now, though guess that made sense with how busy in the Multiverse he had been. All things considered though he was happy to just be able to relax and not have to worry about anything too crazy. Especially now that so many things had been resolved for him... The spikey-haired youth seemed pretty relaxed compared to probably the last time since Rean had seen him (when he ends up seeing him). He seemed even more casual than usual even adorning just a t-shirt and jeans combo rather than his usual black ensemble of clothing. Though maybe too relaxed? His shirt with the wording 'Salty' written in bold across it, though perhaps that wouldn't be noticed in this lighting. What thankfully would be noticed is Rean who's dressed pretty casual himself, "Rean! Hey man, been a while!" He'd encourage Kitty to follow literally taking her by the hand and toting her along. "Hey, thanks again for showing up. I'm literally the worst with shopping...Uh...Hey Rean, you sleep okay last night?" His head tilts a little still taking a bit of notice to the sleepiness that haunts Rean's gaze.
Sarracenia	This means that Rean and Sarra are color-coordinated! The princess of the Sundew almost always wears a red dress in public if she is not fighting. Had she been invited, or had she simply been shopping and spotted Rean? Either way, she blinks when she sees him and calls out, "Rean!" before making her way over quickly. A piranha plant in a butler's outfit waddles along after her, most likely being employed to carry any bags she might accumulate. "It is wonderful to see you! And you as well, Touta! And..." The princess raises an eyebrow at the grumpy Evangeline. "...is she alright?" she asks Rean and Touta, then looks at Evangeline. "You really should not kick people in a crowd. You could be escorted from the mall, and then you would miss out on all the wonderful shopping!"
Evangeline McDowell	Headpats keep Evangeline from whining too much, and her hand in Touta's own keeps the flow of the crowd from carrying her away swift as a coursing river. She'd been terribly dressed, and it's actually not Touta's fault this time. She has a white button-up blouse on and she totally owned it, but the blouse is definitely sized for some lady almost twice her size in all dimensions. The corners of the hem reaches nearly to Kitty's knees, and one might be forgiven for failing to see the jean-shorts hiding beneath those billowing panels. Her black cotton tights, at least, fit perfectly well, but her too-large boots were barely in the correct ballpark as she clomped along behind Touta. "Hmph." Evangeline very pointedly puts Touta between her and the New Friends. "It's their fault for bumping into me like giant whales. Giant. Stupid. Whales. Nobody'll take their side if they try to complain about shin-kicking in self defense."
Rean Schwarzer	Rean returns Sarracennia and Touta's greetings, then turns to Touta when he catches the bags under his eyes. "Studied a bit too late, I guess. Been a rough week." Rean says, rubbing the back of his neck. Well, there was more than that to it than just 'studying too much.' He lets out a small chuckle at Evangeline, too. "Well, let's find someplace less crowded. Maybe if we go into one of the stores?" He looks around, trying to find a place to go into. "...Are all malls out here this huge?" Rean asks. "The closest thing I can thing of where I'm from is Plaza Bifrost, and that's just a department store..."
Touta Konoe	"Ah right, now that I think of it I don't think you've all met each other. Rean, this is Yukihime. She's another version of my boss from another part of the Multiverse that we ended up finding, but uh we end up calling her 'Kitty' to avoid confusion." Seeing Eva complain about people being stupid whales, he moves from out between the two groups, but moving to her side instead, "Oh come on. I mean, you're not wrong people shouldn't be pushy with a cute little girl, but if you keep their shins you totally are losing that appeal aren't you? Anyway, Kitty this is Rean. He's a buddy of mine and Mikoto's boyfriend." Mikoto obviously being Touta's adopted sister from the Multiverse that Kitty would know about, "And this is Sarracenia of the...Sundew Kingdom I think? Mmm, well the short and simple is she's fancy royalty or something. Anyway, I think Rean's got the right idea. Let's head somewhere a bit quieter." He'd try to help Rean out as best he can to find a quiet spot yet still keeping to conversing, "I mean, this is still Neo Tokyo. It's one of the largest cities in the world even if they did have to rebuid it at some point." Speaking of largest city in the world...Even from the mall one could see a rather large structure that literally was going all the way up into the sky only a few miles away if that at all. It stood as though a giant metallic tree-trunk but was clearly a structure made by human hands. As for the 'lack of sleep' it seemed Touta didn't make much of a fuss of it one way or another. Probably a good thing?
Sarracenia	"/Princess/ Sarracenia, Crown Princess of the Sundew Kingdom." Sarracenia corrects Touta. When Rean speaks of losing sleep, Sarra tsks at him. "One should always get the proper amount of sleep. There are many health benefits, not the least of which is keeping one's skin looking youthful and vibrant~" she says before looking at 'Kitty'. "It is quite unladylike to go around kicking shins simply because someone bumped into you." she says before following the others in their shop search. She looks around a moment, then points. "If you wish to find a quiet shop that is unlikely to have many people, I would suggest something that sells antiques or high-end clothing."
Evangeline McDowell	Evangeline starts with a step to keep Touta between her and the others, but ultimately relents because her boots are dummy big and they go clonk and she didn't want to do the undignified two-step shuffle. Not in front of Rean, and /definitely/ not in front of Sarracenia. She's even stopped twitching every time at being called 'Kitty' now, and didn't try to punch Touta AT ALL. Some things change. Other things don't. "You know, Rean," Kitty starts, a particularly toothy grin spreading across her face, "I /never/ get sleepy at all when I don't want to. In fact, owing to this one simple trick that anyone can learn, I can be awake all night and still be fresh at dawn. You won't /have/ to be like /regular/ people anymore, with all the getting tired and being sleepy." Of course, Evangeline then completely fails to elaborate on what the simple trick is, because she's voting high-end-clothing over antiques by way of bodily dragging Touta towards it, while simultaneously waving at Sarracenia, "Come on! I've had enough of wearing this trophy. There's an Eres-et-Marant store over there, second storey. See it? See it?"
Rean Schwarzer	Rean nods. "Right, that makes sense. And I've met Evangeline before, I think I ran into her at an 'arcade' or something a while back. But, it was pretty long ago. So, nice to meet you Kitty." Something about Evangeline's offer sets off all /sorts/ of alarms in Rean's head, and gives him the feeling that /maybe/ that's a deal not worth taking. "N-No thanks. I think I'll be fine." Rean says, a smile that's juuuust a bit too wide crossing his face. "Thanks for the concern, though." he says, directing that at both Sarracenia and Evangeline. As they walked around, Rean glances up at the upper floor...and spots a large manmade object through the skylight."So what's that thing?" Rean says, pointing at the tree-like structure. "Is that a building, or...?"
Touta Konoe	Touta literally bops Kitty...Lightly, when she makes that offer, "Hey, don't even joke like that, last thing we need to do is turn more people into vamps. Though...It's not really that bad. You still eat what you want, no burning in the sunlight, can still eat garlic..." For a moment it seems like Touta's actually considering whether to turn Rean into a vampire himself. At least that way Mikoto and him could live a rather long life together right? The idea is cut short though when he's tugged by Eva and the topic changes thanks to Rean. It's apparently a good topic cause Touta's face actually brightens up quite a bit when asked. "Ah, that's the 'Tower'. Uh, well actually that's just it's nickname. It's actually called the Amano-Mihashira Orbital Elevator..." He takes a second again to think if Rean even knows what an orbital elevator is...And then realizes he may need to elaborate further. "Basically, think of it like an elevator to get resources to space more easy...But uh, more than that I plan to get to the top of that tower one day myself."
Sarracenia	While Rean immediately declines Evangeline's offer...Sarracenia seems to be considering it. "Really? So, I could so I could avoid any bags caused by sleep-deprivation without sleeping? That sounds marvelous!" she says. But, Touta adds a bit more information which causes Sarra to reconsider. "Hmm...would I gain those garish fangs that one sees in movies or have to drink blood to survive?" she asks while looking at the elevator. "An orbital elevator?" the princess asks, then after a moment smiles. "Amazing! How do they keep it from collapsing under its own weight or toppling over when the planet's rotation axis shifts?" Wait...Sarra knows things? She looks to Evangeline after that. "Oh dear...yes, you definitely need an update to your wardrobe, dear. I would be happy to help with that! I have marvelous fashion sense, after all~" she says, and twirls as they walk to display her dress.
Touta Konoe	"I don't remember the details, but it's been around for at least 50 years. We've been using it as a space hub to traverse to other parts of the solar system and all of that. Though it also acts as place to live as well. Though, you gotta have some big bucks to be able to afford a home in the tower." Explaining that as well as he could without overcomplicating it he finally sees that they arrive in the store, it definitely seems...More quiet? But also a bit pricey. "Mmmm, I really hope Yukihime gave Kitty a card to pick some stuff up on her own...Actually, hey Rean, why don't you look around and see if you can find something for Mikoto. I'm sure she'd be crazy happy if you ended up getting her something, right?"
Rean Schwarzer	Yup, definitely not taking that offer. Who knows how vampirism would interact with his other stuff. "Oh, so you're a vampire too, Touta? That explains a lot, actually." There's a sound kinda like choking as Rean processes Sarracenia suddenly pulling out physics. "Uh, yeah. That." He finally manages to spit out. Guess there was more to Sarracenia than meets the eye! "My world doesn't have space travel at all, so I totally get wanting to go to space on something like that. Or even living up there." "Oh, definitely." Rean says. "See you in a bit." And with that, Rean walks off to go find something for Mikoto.
Sarracenia	Sarracenia's questions go unanswered, but she doesn't seem to mind. If someone had gone into a lengthy explanation she would have grown bored quickly. As the topic of purchasing power comes up, Sarracenia smirks. "Do not worry. I will be happy to pay for any clothing any of you wish to purchase from this store. Especially if it is for Mikoto! I do still owe her quite a bit for accidentally blowing her up in a race on The Line, and for blowing up Rean...a-and for blowing up Touta..." She looks more and more embarrassed as she goes on, blushing and looking off to the side instead of at the boys. But, as Rean goes off to look for something she raises a hand and waves. "Remember! I am happy to help pay if you wish to get her something extravagant!" Sarracenia starts browsing after that. She doubts she will find anything she will actually want to buy here, but it is still fun looking through fancy clothes. "So! How has it been having a new sister, Touta? I am afraid I have had little chance to talk with Mikoto since the whole Lezard debacle." she asks casually as she tugs a dress off a nearby rack and holds it up to herself. It is red of course, but much more of an elegant evening gown than the dress she is wearing now, which is a very Mario princess sort of dress.
Touta Konoe	Now that he thinks of it, Sarra /did/ blow him up..."Eh, water under the bridge. But uh, if you can help Kitty try on some clothes it'd be a big help. I'd help her but uh...Yeah." He watches Rean leave to go get something for Mikoto, though what exactly...Even he doesn't know. Though he does have to wonder if it's a good idea for him to wander around so much by himself. "Don't go too far Rean!" Not that the city's dangerous for the most part, or doubts Rean's ability to handle himself, but a concerned friend will be a concerned friend. Speaking of concerns and friends though, "Oh Mikoto. It's been interesting. I mean...I technically do have a sister, actually a few siblings but uh...Well, Mikoto's the closest thing to what I figure an actual sibling relationship's suppose to be like. It's definitely got it's ups and downs but really just want to see her be happy...And not get involved with that Lezard guy. Ugh, that brings up another memory...I did not feel bad at all punching his soul around a bit. Those were a really good five minutes. But uh, oh right, how's sister stuff. Overall, it's cool! Just don't want her getting into too much trouble even if she thinks she's got a bit of power now is all.
Evangeline McDowell	Evangline's smile seems no fangier than anyone else's. Wait, no, actually, she's got a little bit of fang. Just a little bit. Enough to prevent a manga artist from just drawing a line to depict the line between her teeth - have to put a chicane in it. This is very easy to observe because she hasn't stopped grinning ever since Sarracenia had verbally opened up her purse to Touta's indiscretions. "Touta." She says, practically tossing an offensively frilly black dress at Touta for him to hold on to. What were clone's-apprentices for, anyway? "Touta." She says, waving at a stack of undergarments that she had picked out. More or less she had picked 'one of each' when going through the entire display. "T-Touta... no. Wait. Sarracenia." Evangeline holds up a metallic contraption with slidey bits and stuff, as she stands in front of the section showing various fashionable platform boots rather taller than they were wide. "Do you know how to use the... foot... ruler?"
Sarracenia	Sarracenia does hmph softly as it is Kitty who takes advantage of her generosity rather than Touta or Rean (at least so far), but when asked about the foot ruler she giggles. "Oh dear...have you really never used one before? I am so sorry." she says in that way a rich person does when they are really trying to be nice but it comes across as mildly condescending. Then she looks at Eva's feet. "...wait...have you ever even worn shoes before?" she asks, obviously prepared to be truly shocked if that is the case. "Oh sweetie! We will definitely have to introduce you to the wonderful world of shoes and shoe shopping! Now, just take a seat there and Gregory will measure your feet for the proper shoe size." She holds her hands up and claps lightly, and the piranha plant in the butler's outfit grumbles a bit before approaching Eva. He holds out a big leaf to be given the measuring device. Sarracenia meanwhile turns her attention back to Touta. "I see! I have no siblings of any kind, so I admit I am quite curious what it is like to have a sibling relationship, normal or otherwise." She frowns after that. "...I must agree with you about Lezard. Even if he did kidnap me, I still cannot stand him and cannot understand how Mikoto tolerates him after all that has happened. His careless experiments not only endangered her life, but ruined the lives of several innocent girls!"
Evangeline McDowell	After placing the strange contraption on the massive leaf (and giving Gregory a small sniff to see if he is, in fact, full of blood), Evangeline was next surprised by being physically invited to take her existing shoes off. Which she does, but only with a little hesitation. "I- wh- Of course I have! I know what shoes are! I'm just... wearing these because they're trophies that I won in battle!" Poker night is sort of like a battle. And winning a blouse and shoes off of Touta's boss is a rather significant triumph. But still... Evangeline curls her slightly-reddened toes and puts them into Gregory's care, while simultaneously crossing her arms. "Can't we j- Can't YOU just get rid of the Lezard person? Mikoto doesn't have to know."
Touta Konoe	Every time the young man's name is uttered he's on it like clock work to try and catch said clothing. Whether it be frilly dresses or undergarments...To which he hides in between other sets of clothes. Truth be told he's sorta use to this kind of treatment from the older Yukihime, though it's definitely not abused as much as Kitty tends to do so. He's even ready to get the foot ruler set up somehow while holding all these damned clothes till she calls on Sarra instead. It's enough of a change that it makes him ponder what made her choose to have Sarra do it. He'll just smile casually enough regardless. "Uh...Hey Greg, think you can spare a bag for a moment?" Of course he was talking to Gregory the Pirnha Plant. Why wouldn't he, they're basically of the same social status. They both end up serving people while dressed up. It should be reasonable relationship to say the least. While he waits to see if Greg would listen to one though he takes into consideration Sarra's words, "Heh, truth be told I think it'd be interesting to see you as a sibling Sarra. I can't tell if you'd be the type to horde all your stuff or give it to them instead. As for Lezard, let's not even bring that guy up. If it wasn't for the fact that I punched his soul for so long I would have said he was souless. Also...Sarra you totally shouldn't be giving him brownie points for kidnapping ya!" Reprimanding Sarra he looks back around for a moment to see where Rean had gone in the shop. Again, not too worried, but this wasn't his home town or anything like that and Neo Tokyo could get easy to get lost in. Though just as he's about to get up to look for him, he feels the need to speak up again as Eva asks why not get rid of the guy, "Cause Mikoto still trusts him a bit. I don't know why but..." He lets out another sigh. "She really does view the concord as close friends. Some I don't have issues with, but there's definitely some in there that make you really think. Plus, the last person who ended up off'ing a Concord member ended up getting Priscilla to come after them himself." He thinks back to the news of what happened to Staren and the assassin that ended up killing him...Even if he was immortal, which he thought was weird but not unprecendented. The Multiverse in general is weird!
Sarracenia	Sarracenia giggles a bit at Evangeline as she stammers about knowing what shoes are. "Forgive me, sweetie." she says, talking to Eva like the child Eva appears to be despite knowing Touta. Gregory the Piranha Plant raises...well, he looks at Touta as if he might be raising an eyebrow if he had any, then shakes his head and motions at the bags he has left nearby. All of them contain at least a few items. Sarracenia pats Touta. "I am afraid we cannot spare any bags. All of ours are full of purchases. But!" Sarra reaches into her purse and pulls out...another purse! Which she hands to Touta. "You may use this until we leave this shop." It is a rather large black purse, perhaps even larger than the satchel-style purse that Sarra carries. She looks at Evangeline again after that and pouts. "Because Mikoto said I had to.../tolerate him/...if we were to remain friends." she says, crossing her arms over her chest in annoyance and huffing afterword. "She knows I do not care for him, and if he were to disappear suspicion would surely fall on me. Not to mention I am not the most inconspicuous of persons. And it would be less than heroic or princessly to do such a thing at this point."
Evangeline McDowell	"What a troubling situation you're in." Evangeline fails to hide her grin behind her fist - there's that bit of fang again, gleaming through around the would-be shield. "I think that there have been /may/ rich ... and powerful... people in history who have just... been irked by a few people. Annoying people. People that it would not be -good optics- to do something about." Evangeline turns towards Touta, but she stares mostly through him, pensive and addressing no-one at all. "Frequently priests, now that I think about those. I can't disagree. Priests are just..." A pause. A very long pause.
Touta Konoe	He can't help but take the black pur-satchel. He's got waaaay too much stuff and unless he's trying to make a show of it, there's no reason not to use the bag in question till they hand him one while they leave. "Thanks Sarra, also I get what you're saying. Sometimes I get really worried about Mikoto and the influence she's receiving from some of the people there. Seriously, I don't know why she's okay with hanging out with that yakuza guy or that necromancer when there's plenty of other reasonable people in the Concord like Jonathan or Yuki. In fact...Maybe next time I see Yuki, I can bring it up. Besides, I've we've been way overdue to have her and Zero pop in. Bet even Mikoto wouldn't have an issue with that." Then there's a statement about annoying people, and -good optics- that you can't do anything about. She looks his way for a moment, and when she does he just seems to oblivious smirk in that doofy way he usually does at her. "Well, good thing there's none here huh, anyway is there anything else you wanted Kitty?"
Sarracenia	Sarracenia's frown grows as she sees Eva's grin. "I doubt that is limited to rich and powerful people. Merely getting rid of those who annoy you is just a bad thing to do. Lezard at least is a villain, and is not ashamed of it. Do not confuse me with those spiteful harpies that one hears about in drama stories or news reports from other worlds. If I try to eliminate someone, it is for a good reason." Gregory has found Eva's shoe size by now and informed her of it, and unless he is asked anything else he returns to the shopping bags he left nearby. Sarracenia smiles to Touta as he thanks her. "You are welcome! And if you do not mind me saying, black seems to be your color~" she says, obviously teasing Touta just a bit about the purse. She sighs softly after that. "I admit I was a bit jealous when you two mentioned Mikoto's adoption. I will probably never know what it is like. My parents have shown no signs of dying any time soon, so adoption is likely out of the question." she says, then blinks. "Er...not that I -want- them to die, of course! My freedom lasts only so long as they stay alive! After that, I am bound to the duties and responsibilities of a queen."
Evangeline McDowell	An invisible checkmark gets ticked in Evangeline's head, and several different banks of lightbulbs go off. "Oh but of -course-. I admire a good villain. Villainy is all about presentation, after all." "Touta." Evangeline toes the foot-measuring-...thing, which shows her measurements now. "I want to start with the second one from the left. The one with the black lily on it." Villainy performed, she turns ba- well, she never really turned away from Sarracenia. "And don't you worry. I'm sure -nobody- will ever -suspect- you of eliminating -anyone-. For any reason whatsoever."
Rean Schwarzer	Rean comes back to the group, holding a feathery green hat in his hand. Looks like he found his gift. "I'm back," Rean says, a light smile on his face. "How're things going over here?"
Touta Konoe	An awkward chuckle accrues when Sarra gives that compliment. "I know you're busting my chops here, but you're definitely not wrong." Have you seen this kid's wardrobe? If not for his attitude he'd probably be recognized as the most goth dressed individual in the entire Multiverse. Not that he cares much one way or the other. "Hey, don't sweat too much about siblings. There's definitely perks about being an only child. Especially in a royal house hold. No squabbles over inheritance and the like right? Besides, we actually work with a lot of adopted kids back at the base. They're plenty of good kids but usually you can tell they've been through the thick of it. And uh, never thought you were thinking that you were exciting for them to kick the bucket. Though uh, as a tip definitely do try to enjoy the time with them if you still got it." He can say that from experience at the least. Rather than elaborate on that though, Touta's name is beckoned yet again by the blondie. He nods as he reaches for the requested outfit handing it to her not thinking much of it, "What do you want ready for the next one- Hey Rean, there ya are! Hmmm, green hat. Not bad. I could see her using that as part of her transformation. Nice going, Romeo!" Does Rean even know the story of Romeo and Juliet? Oh well, he's using it anyway!
Sarracenia	Sarracenia smirks finally at Evangeline. "Of course they would suspect me. I am a confident, outspoken, strong princess. If I were some quiet, mousey or flowery princess then perhaps I might be above suspicion. And I appreciate some proper villainy myself. As a movie I once saw so eloquently put it, the difference between a villain and a supervillain is all in the presentation. Someone who is simply out to destroy or cause misery passes the line from villain into true evil." she says. Rean returns, and Sarracenia smiles. "Welcome back, Rean! What did you-..." She blinks as she sees the hat. She looks like she is about to comment on it, but then thinks a moment. Given how unusual Mikoto is, her fondness of green, and her sense of humor, it just might be a perfect gift for her. Sarracenia giggles and smiles lightly. "Is that Mikoto's gift? I am sure she will enjoy it." she says. Touta speaks up and Sarra giggles again. She definitely has noticed his wardrobe. She isn't actually dumb! She just seems like it sometimes. His words about parents though seems to sober her up. She hadn't really thought about that. Would she be sad if her parents were to disappear tomorrow? She is quiet for a bit after that, contemplating things.
Evangeline McDowell	Evangeline holds onto the pair of shoe, suddenly but briefly miffed at something that Touta said or did or was. Then she wriggles her feet in one after another, then stands. UP. An extra inch of height really does wonders for Evangeline. Now she's tall enough to go on some of the faster rides over at the neighboring indoor amusement park, WITHOUT having to try to convince Touta to help her sneak in. These are definitely roller coaster shoes. "Hey! That's a nice hat! Which earrings are you going to pair with it?" Evangeline says, simultaneously praising and jabbing a pointy question into Rean's side. But of course hats should be matched to earrings, to create a whole (untranslateable French term).
Rean Schwarzer	"Yeah, that's what I was thinking. And thanks?" Rean says to Touta. Romeo and Juliet doesn't exist on his world, but that sounded like it was a compliment so he just rolls with it. "...Earrings?" Rean says, and then facepalms with his free hand. "I didn't even think about that! But I think this is enough for now. Besides, she has a pair of earrings I got her before that should match this."
Touta Konoe	"Mmm, yeah, I remember that. Think that was for Christmas last year right? Now that I think about it...Rean how did you two even start dating anyway? I don't think I've ever asked." Touta makes an unintentional topic change that might be considered bullying in and of itself. Just much more low-key bullying as it goes into his personal history. "I'm pretty sure you two were dating at least before we adopted her, but I don't thinK Mikoto's every been one to tell how you two met and got so cozy." Without even minding anyone else he just turns to Rean, expecting all the details of this conversation. He's the brother, obviously he needs to know all the details of his sister's life. That's what a good and not overbearing brother does right?
Sarracenia	Sarracenia actually finds Evangeline's question prudent, but hearing Rean say that Mikoto has plenty appeases the princess for now. She looks over at Rean as the question of how he and Mikoto came to be a thing, and puffs up a bit. "I cannot take all the credit, but I noticed their obvious affection for each other and encouraged them to get together for a number of weeks before they finally did."
Rean Schwarzer	Rean laughs. "Well, It's kind of a long story, but I'm sure Mikoto would say it started with us bullying her into letting us help her and then it went downhill from there." "But no, uh...we started dating a bit after everyone rescued Sarracenia, though I'm not exactly sure how long she'd been holding onto that." He then turns to look at Sarracenia. "...Was it really that obvious?" Rean says, grimacing a little. "I'm not exactly the best at reading that sort of thing, And Mikoto isn't always honest with people but..."
Touta Konoe	"MMMm, it was after that huh? I swore it was earlier than that. Maybe everyone was still just teasing you both back then. Well, that's fine. Honestly, I'm glad she's dating ya Rean. If there's one person I know I can trust to keep an eye on her it'd definitely be you!" In all but a single statement Touta all but completely throws his trust at the guy. Obviously showing just how much of a good Rean Bean he considers the young man to be. "Also, I guess Sarra's got an eye for those things more than I do. I swear, I bet even if Cupid hit me with a love arrow I still wouldn't notice if someone was into me, hehe." It was true, this guy could be just so damn bashfull to a fault it was a good thing he was immortal for the fact so many girls probably want to bash his head in for just not picking up on the hints.
Sarracenia	Sarracenia giggles at Rean's question and smirks smugly. "Of course I could tell. I am very observant after all, and romance is my hobby and my quest!" she says proudly, standing a bit taller and putting her hands on her hips. She giggles again and pats Touta on the head as he points out his own obliviousness. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I have not noticed any women who have shown favor toward you." she says, then...pauses and glances at Evangeline before shaking her head lightly.
Evangeline McDowell	"..." Evangeline looks up from trying on her fifth pair of shoes, after having discarded every one of the previous four. She looks at Sarracenia and then at Touta, feeling her skin prick from the glancing. "..." Click, goes the metalled heel on the floor. "What?"
Rean Schwarzer	"As an older brother myself, I appreciate that." Rean says, chuckling. "And I guess it's good we have a friend like you around, your highness." Rean glances at Evangeline too. "...Nah, no way." He finally says. Evangeline's relationship with Touta seemed more like servant and master, though he knew that could be a close bond nonetheless. It definitely wasn't a romantic bond. Right?
Touta Konoe	There's a smirk when Rean relates to his own sibling relations. Like they could relate just a bit more on the struggles of trying to be a good brother. Though when Sarra mentions she hasn't noticed anyone pining for him he scratches his cheek, "Well, guess it's whatever. Truth be told I think the closest thing I got to anything romantic recently was some chocolates from Avenger during Valentine's Day. But she told me it was mostly just cause I was really down for a while. Still, was definitely pretty nice of her." He still seems quite oblivious as Sarra and Rean looks between himself and Eva. Even when she looks a bit more confused herself he only ends up turning his head her way a bit confused, "Hmmm, I didn't say anything. You okay, Kitty?"
Sarracenia	Sarracenia just smiles and waves Evangeline off as she lets out that dubious 'what'. "Nothing, dear! If you were a bit older perhaps you would understand." she says, then motions to Gregory. "Collect my bags, Gregory! We should return to the Sundew Kingdom so that I can get my beauty sleep." she says. She moves to give Rean a little hug and spares one for Touta as well, then waves goodbye to Eva. "It was pleasant shopping with all of you!" she says, then makes her way toward the exit and the floating wooden airship outside.
