Shinnosuke Tomari TOKYO POWER PLANT
Daytime

One of many power plants in Tokyo has had a monster sighting. This is after multiple battery sellers, mainly of large car batteries and generators and similar, have been robbed by the same monster at sparkplug point.

This power plant is a large, long facility, fenced around (the fences have been smashed up) with several long towers pointing up for whatever reason power plants have those. Standing outside the entrance to the main plant building, menacing some workers, is an orange robotic man. His torso and arms are shaped like a wingnut, with two pointed sparkplug needles as arms. His head has a silvery protrusion and an otherwise 'normal' looking face. He has legs.

As the monster surges electricity through one of those needles, the group will be able to arrive separately. Among them pulls up a bright red sports car, with white lines down the middle, and a black top. Right as the monster is about to attack a worker...

A miniature orange car, the size of a Hot Wheel, launches as the front door opens, flying into the robot monster and distracting him, before flying into the hands of the man who exits. He's dressed in a detective's suit and tie, tall with short dark brown hair and dark eyes, as he straightens his hands together. This must be Shinnosuke Tomari, due to the belt on his wait. It's silver, high-tech, and has a strange round sensor in the middle, which seems to have a frustrated face made out of red lines on it. Tomari also has more of those cars on a bracer on his leg, as he remarks to the belt. "There's been no signs of the Heaviness. This Roidmude..."

The 'Roidmude' speaks up. "I don't know what you're saying, but you're getting in the way of my meal! Delicious electricity!" He sends a surge of electricity at Tomari from the plug, who dives out of the way, but is going to be momentarily not doing anything while any other responders move to react. Luckily, the worker can escape in that moment, but the robot man is clearly upset.
Hellwarming Trio Although Utsuho's not a stranger to fried chicken, she's heard good things about more modern takes on it. Unfortunately, her and Rin's senses of direction are utter crap, leading them to a power plant of all places instead of a fried chicken restaurant or anything resembling an eatery.

Utsuho: "You sure this is the right way?"
Rin: "Not as sure I was five minutes ago. But it's fine, we'll be outta here in no time! We just gotta follow the... Uh."

And then they see it: THE ORANGE MAN with legs! There's also quite a few unfamiliar faces along with a vaguely familiar voice (to Utsuho), and  the hell raven flaps her wings once from underneath her cape with the galaxy imagery moving on the inside independently of everything else.

"Hey, you're that guy that wanted to eat without getting into a fight. What gives?" Utsuho asks, furrowing her brow as she regards Shinnosuke with considerable suspicion. The Roidmude, meanwhile, barely gets even an odd look from her for the time being.

Rin, meanwhile, notices the worker escaping, the upset robot man, and she puts two and two together: Maybe the robot man's already killed a few people. Whistling ever so subtly and nonchalantly at all, she does an about face and wanders off, then starts skulking around the power plant to see if there's any other unfortunate victims lying around.
Xion Sometimes you just add weird phone-apps to your phone because they're cool. Like the Tokyo MPD's Heaviness app, which allows you to report where, in Tokyo, you experience the strange gravitational events.

Xion, being a total heel, had downloaded this app and proceeded to use it in her normal life outside of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. She was just trying to help!

But Xion experienced 'slowdown' different than normal people. And also had gravity powers.

And also was a bit overeager on the reporting. Getting her app blocked for 'abusive behavior', she had to return to the DMV to get it sorted out! Or, WOULD HAVE, if she didn't see a red sports car RACING OFF to the scene of a crime.

"Officer! Officer wait!" Xion calls, before chasing after Tridoron.

On foot.

LATER, AT THE TOEI REGULATION MOSTLY-ABANDONED POWER PLANT NEAR THE ~~STUDIO~~ POLICE STATION:

Xion goes through a panting 'animation', sliding to a stop as Tomari addresses the strange 'Roidmude'. "Officer! I need you!! To fix!!! My app." She holds out a her smartphone with the locked app and the 'you've been naughty' formletter from the Tokyo MPD.

"If you want to eat electricity, build a nice water-wheel! Then you can pull power out of the natural motion of water, and everyone's happy! If you eat all the power here, plenty of people will be upset."
Spider-Man     Spider-Man is here! He's still working with a more modified, recolored Immunes Suit from Lilian's world, but his iconic red and blue stand out as he swings from the nearest building in a high arc that lands atop one of the few un-smashed fence segments in a careful posture, hands and feet collected at almost the same point below him. "Hey!" He calls out. "Got too many one-stars from the UltraEats drivers huh? That's rough, you should try tipping better!" The electrical display wows him, making those articulated eye-lenses pop wide open, but he reacts quick enough to it: Get that worker out of here!

He dives over the street, yanking the worker with a web and pulling them further away from the scene. "You go ahead and take today off! I *love* the shows around here, go home and chill with the TV!" He shouts in a nervously joking way, before turning back to focus on the so-called Roidmude. That electricity is dangerous! He had better try to lock him down fast: He whips webs at those plugs from his position high up across the street, trying to pin them somewhere! "Hey, live-wire! Be careful where you're discharging! The rest of us aren't hungry, and we're pretty allergic!" Read: He's really, tremendously worried about getting electrocuted, it's genuinely one of the more painful things a human can go through.
Strawberry Princess      "Sir. Please."

Strawberry Princess's voice is hoarse as ever, and quails slightly with uncertainty. She is, after all, in the unusual circumstance of pointing a real handgun at a fantastical robot. Being dressed in her casual clothes doesn't help her confidence; only the green shield of the Paladins sewn onto the sleeve of her jacket helps project an air of authority. Her free hand slowly reaches back over her shoulder, where her magic wand is slung in a slender carrying case.

"If you need electricity, we can- we can figure something out. But not this. Alright?"

Her eyes slide off to the side for a moment, assessing Shinnosuke in her peripheral vision. No blood? No blood. Good. They snap back to the 'Roidmude' a second later, hopefully too quick to betray the momentary distraction.
Reliant A streak of light descends from the sky, collapsing into a point that expands outwards into a sphere. From it emerges a figure in dark blue-black armor, its sheen only visibly blue under direct light. The humanoid robot is a bit over six feet tall, bulkier than a human by way of his armoring and proportions, but still recognizably intended to be parsed more-or-less as "a guy in armor" more than something like 'a mecha bear' or 'an anthropomorphic lightning rod'.

His boots, chest, and waist have prominent golden trim along with more white coloration that dominates the lower half of his shoulder armor, his entire hands, knees, and the tips of his boots.

The helmet he wears is red-visored, with a pair of prominent green sensors mounted along angled flat protrusions separated by a central strip of black plating that breaks up the helmet. Light blue hair falls down to around his upper back, routed through a gap at the base of his helmet.

"Isn't a Roidmude," Dynamo answers casually, his lips curling into a rather insufferable smirk. His visor retracts for a moment to reveal light blue eyes as he turns back towards the electricity-obssessed robot, casting it a rather aggravated look, "Hey, cuz! Quit messing around with the locals and get your work done."

The visor comes back down as he turns back to Tomari. "As I was saying, not Roidmudes. We're awfully sympathetic, though. You guys really didn't treat them right, did you? I'll try not to play too rough, but my employer wants me to waste the time of anybody who gets in the way here. Try not to die~!"

Evidently not fooled by what she's up to, Dynamo morphs his right arm into a gun and opens fire on Rin, a midsized bolt of energy hurtling after her.

He seizes a dual-ended beam saber at the small of his back with his left hand and hurls it, which paradoxically leaves one in his hand and spits out a multitude of extras that go spinning off after anybody that Dynamo decided was too interesting. That very much excludes any random civilians trying to get away, but very much includes anybody helping them too much.

"As a bonus," the interloper says happily, towards Spider-Man and Strawberry Princess, "I'll let you in on the secret:"

In a very loud stage whisper, Dynamo says, "The electricity is incidental."
Spider-Man     "Your *employer*? Hey, can't anyone who buys teleporting robots buy enough batteries themselves? There's bulk discounts! I'll even send you referral links!" Spidey quips, swinging towards Dynamo... Then the blades fly, and his mind is full of spider-sensed peril as he's forced to twist, mid-air, to graze them or else be sliced in half. He lands only a half-second before the light streaks of spider-ash do, seared and cauterized flesh and outfit lost in the flowing motion. It wound be toku sparks, but, you know. Despite the pain and wounding, he manages to grit his teeth and ask:

"Woah!! Are those *laser swords*?! Like from the movies, and you're not magic?! That's amazing! How do you bind the fields for it?"

Typical. He lashes out with a fresh web strand and tries to yank Dynamo's dominant, blade hand disorientingly, and pull him into a complex series of high-flying, stylish flipping kicks, all meant to make sure it takes a lot out of him to bring out any more beam sabers, and to punish that shoulder as hard as he can!
Hellwarming Trio It's only when Xion mentions the Roidmude's appetite that Utsuho finally looks over at the robot more closely. "Oh. You want power? Well, you're looking at the best source of it right here!" She announces confidently, smacking her chest with the control rod covering her right arm. Her brief moment of mirth fades, however, at Spider-Man's comment.

"Speak for yourself. I wanted chicken." Priorities. Hearing Strawberry Princess, hwoever, sh eperks up again. "Oh! The baker!" Before she can get too excited, however, the visored figure appears, and she gives him a deadpan stare as he speaks of their treatment of the Roidmudes.

"Roidm...? Oh, so that's what this thing... Isn't! Yeah." Utsuho proves she's a slow thinker while Rin, focusing too much on other things, only notices the shot as it's hurtling towards her. She lets out a startled shriek while bracing herself for the incoming blast, bringing up a pillar of flame in front of her to soften the impact even as it explodes right on top of her. The cat youkai skids back while shaking her hands off, hissing angrily all the while.

"Heh... So your surface guys like getting into scraps, too? Let's see how long you last, then!" Brimming with vigor, Utsuho launches herself into the sky directly at Dynamo. There's no fancy swinging of her control rod or bulelst, though, as she instead just immolates herself and starts rushing him with a series of fiery tackles. Rin, meanwhile, hurls some fiery projectiles of her own, sending blue wisps careening in from the sides to cover the gaps in Utsuho's reckless offensive.
Shinnosuke Tomari Dynamo shows up. Spark Man, having been surrounded by people demanding he stop, seems grateful, if still frustrated. "Right! Thanks!" He's about to run off, and then pauses. "Wait, does that mean I go eat the power plant?" Food-motivated.

Shinnosuke Tomari, meanwhile, is dumbfounded. But when he says the words 'isn't a roidmude', it's like pictures are forming in the air above him. There were no gravity particles. There was no number. The 'Roidmude' was confused. They have an employer. "It all comes together. An unknown robot threat that isn't a Roidmude..." He straightens his lax tie, braincells in top gear.

"Are you even from this world?"

Xion is coming in with help fixing an app, and as he looks as her with a heavy sigh, he just holds up a hand. "I'll help you later." He recognizes her, faintly, but right now, he has something more important to do.

The spinning energy blade comes at him at this moment. A red minicar with white stripes is grabbed from the holster, slid into the armbrace, as Tomari twists a switch on the belt, and then pulls a lever on the armbrace, before scanning it over the belt. "Henshin!"

Circles of energy, red and yellow and white, start forming around Tomari. A black bodysuit with white stripes running down it meshes over, followed by red bodyarmor and a hefty helmet with a buglike pair of eyes. A tire pops out of the supercar, Tridoron, the front left one, and slams into his armor, going down diagonally from the top-left side to merge with him.

DRIVE! Type -- Speed!

The spinning blade impacts with the armor right as it appears, scraping into it and making an awful sound effect, but saving Tomari from a grisly death. He rushes forward for the nearest worker, moving to push them out of the way, before turning towards Dynamo.

"If this power plant gets destroyed, people are in danger. Hospitals, generators...I won't let you! Let's take you out for a spin."

Off-frame, as the screen pans to Dynamo, he grabs the Handle Sword from somewhere. It's a sword with a steering wheel attached to the handle, which he rushes forward with, moving to slash into Dynamo. The first strike comes from the left, and then back from the right, before he tries to strike him straight down the middle with a rush of speed and power.
Strawberry Princess      Strawberry Princess reacts with characteristically well-trained alacrity, shifting her aim from the orange robot to Dynamo in the split second after he fires at Rin. Will normal bullets even do anything to a robot like that? It doesn't matter- as she squeezes the trigger, that nagging voice in the back of Strawberry's mind forces her to drop her aim by a few degrees, shooting him in the leg instead of center mass.

The duplication of the thrown beam saber throws her off only slightly more than Dynamo's appearance in the first place. She hasn't even consciously processed what's happening by the time her hard-won reflexes take control, hurling her behind a parked car for cover. She lands hard, breath knocked out of her by impact with the asphalt, but it's better than being bisected. "God damn it," she mutters softly as her brain catches back up, rolling onto her back and fumbling for her wand. "Alright."

There's a flash of pink light from behind the car, and then Strawberry Princess emerges, hurtling herself backwards on faint wings of white sparkles. She gets a healthy amount of distance in a whiplash-inducing fraction of a second, ducking around behind the third-story corner of the main building to use the edge as three-dimensional cover.
Xion Xion isn't that smart of a heroism vagabond. She takes complex concepts and boils them down into simple, stream-of-character-designer-fever-dream realities.

"Even if the power isn't the point--!" Her slowly processing expression starts, long seconds after Dynamo explains the plan, the plot, and how he's actually going to kill them.

A beam saber carves her in half, the top and bottom parts of her black coat falling away left and right. Above, mid-leap and coatless, Xion holds out a tarnished purple medallion. "This is a world where heroes stand up for their people. A world where you can't just take what you want without a fight -- I like this world! So even if the Grim Reaper isn't here:"

Xion holds the tarnished purple medal against her collar, just beneath her neck, and flashes purple. "I'll be the Grim Reaper who resets your twisted heart! I'll turn the key --"

Landing in a crouch, Xion's black undershirt shimmers with plates of purple armor, gunmetal pipes and an X-themed mask, offset with the X across the right eye, and a glowing yellow headlight-dome for the left. Her modulated voice is cool.

"-- and pull the malice from your heart."

With a quiet metallic 'shwink!' and an aggressively loud SWORD, Xion's keyblade materializes.

"Watch out, Drive! Don't get between Strawberry and what she's firing at! She does lots of damage, so as long as you protect them, we'll win at top speed." Xion helpfully tutorializes, as she swings her keysword at thin air while purple Toku Blasts fire from the tip at Dynamo.
Reliant "Not about the batteries either, kid," Dynamo answers Spider-Man casually, spinning the blade that remained in his hand idly. He collapses his right hand back into a... hand, and swaps the saber from left to right. He seems to expect a relatively light impact from this literal meat child and his flashy fidgetting saves his saber from being webbed-- but he gets webbed by the left hand and pulled into a series of grapple-kicks that dent him up pretty good before he activates his saber and just straight accepts scorching up his left arm to get the webbing off and plummeting back to the ground.

He drops into a roll and comes back up, firing boosters on the bottom of his boots to get some general distance before getting tackled by somebody on fire.

For a very long few moments in which he is being immolated and his armor is melting, Dynamo has the opportunity to contemplate just how fortunate he is that he's a reploid and not some sort of flesh creature that would die after this regardless of how well he managed to keep standing immediately afterwards.

He spins himself loose, igniting his beam saber and meeting Tomari's rush with a series of-- not parries, not quite. Dynamo isn't quick enough for that, but he is quick enough to alter the course of the blows minutely. What /must/ be vital areas are given fractionally more protection as armor sparks and shudders, more akin to what he's used to from roidmudes than the others were managing just a moment ago.

Even so, the reploid is "breathing" heavily in the aftermath, whipping his beam saber about in preparation for counter-attack and being just in time to get shot through the left leg. A shower of sparks follows, but in spite of the sheer damage of the blow the limb isn't blown off or anything-- what remains of the joints lock, and he shifts his weight to the opposite leg while replacing the saber at the small of his back.

"Sheesh," Dynamo complains, "but still... I appreciate the consideration, miss. To answer YOUR QUESTION, Spider-Guy-- no idea! They mass-manufactured us after finding our template model locked in a box from a century back."

He shuts an eye and smiles nastily, "Not the best idea, but I'm here, so I can't complain."

"As for scraps," he sighs, "it's what I'm good at. Whether I 'want' to or not... that comes and goes. Don't get the wrong idea, it's not as if I'm going to stop. But I'm not some hot-blooded idealist, either."

"And of course I'm not from around here," Dynamo exclaims, "have you seen the way you build artificial intelligences? Even our way is less slipshod. It doesn't stop scoundrels like me from coming about, of course."

"-- Huh? I don't expect you to not--" The reploid seems absolutely baffled by Xion's reaction to him, doesn't take her weird club particularly seriously, and once again experiences Hilarious Bursts Of Toku Sparks from actually getting hit with the subsequent attack. Dynamo hisses in the aftermath, raising his right hand and forming a crackling energy sphere in the middle of it.

"'Malice', huh... can't say I have that any more than I have 'fighting spirit'. I won't object to 'twisted', though," Dynamo says. He punches the sphere into the ground beneath him, and the streets begin to swell ominously here and there.

Columns of scorching energy rise into the air across the whole field, emerging beneath and around anyone who hasn't gotten their distance by now. It doesn't extend particularly far beyond what Dynamo perceives to be the battlefield, so there's 'someplace to run', but apparently limiting his mobility this much just made him decide his best bet was 'blow it all up'.
Hellwarming Trio "Just how many of you weirdos in suits are there?" Utsuho sounds more amused than annoyed as she looks from person to person and takes note of their outfits. "Geez... Feels like me and Orin are the only normal ones here!" She continues while her concrete-encased leg dangles beneath her while she slows to a stop in order to survey the damage to Dynamo.

"Pretty tough yourself, though... I can tell your fighting spirit's pretty damn strong, but how long can you keep it up?" As Utsuho boasts, she doesn't notice the ground beneath her starting to churn and boil over, although she does notice it happening in random spurts all around the battlefield. "Oh? You wanna make this a contest of raw power, then, huh? That's fine with-"

And then she explodes. Rin makes it out a little better than Utsuho, at least, scrambling around wildly to not get blasted herself and using her wheelbarrow as a shield/launching point to get onto higher ground. She pales somewhat upon hearing Shinnosuke's warning about the risks if the plant shuts down. Both she and Utsuho /are/ here, after all, so it's entirely plausible they could get blamed if that indeed happens.

"H.. Hey, we're helping, too! We're not shutting anything down!" She shouts in a somewhat misguided panic while kicking the wheelbarrow upwards, launching it into a floating spin as wisps start bursting out from it. They're slow to move, but once they start, they home in on Dynamo's position and spiral around him, zigzagging rapidly to try and catch him even if he tries evading them.

Once the fire around Utsuho subsides, meanwhile, she's looking even more excited than before, and her control rod glows with a nearly-blinding light as she slides it along the ground in front of her. "Not bad at all, robo-guy! Not bad at all... But now let's see if you can handle this." Utsuho lets out a wild shout bordering on outright cackling as she floats into the air, then swings the rod over and behind herself in a wide arc.

"This is my power... This is the power of nuclear fusion!" A thin beam of light comes out of the rod as it's pointed at the ground below Utsuho, drawing a line from there to vaguely below the Dynamo's position. Moments later, the ground where the line touched bursts upwards with several exploding pillars of energy!
Spider-Man     He's cut off! he pulls back, giving slices, fire-tackles, and blade-waves room to do their work. Glancing down, Spidey watches Shinnosuke Tomari in action, specifically that armor assembling. "Woah! That's so *cool*, it's like Iron Man's suit with a *smaller* container! How does *that* work?" He's awed by the display of light and assembly!

He's not as awed by the steering wheel, but whatever. Zoomers, I swear.

When it comes to dodging broad-area dangers, Spider-Man knows what's up. Yanking himself through the air repeatedly, he harshly tugs himself out of the way, presciently, of every geyser and massive column of light -- albeit a bit too late for many of them; from singed to seared, it tests the limits of his Immunes Suit's heat resistance, not to mention his own, but he gets through it smelling only slightly of burnt meat.

He begins to sling a vast variety of webs, in fact, between the power plant's high spires and the buildings across the street. Bouncing between them, he builds more and more webbing, meant to fill the air here with too many webs to conveniently maneuver around. Dynamo's flight needs to be halted, and he intends to deliver several heavy strikes that are meant to disorient the machine-man and drive him into the webs.

"You're a whole lot more talktative than any Hammerdrone I've ever fought! Too bad you're harder to stop, too." Spidey rambles as he tries to lodge him in a web with a hefty swinging kick. "So what *is* this about? Sparky over there sure seems to be *really* hungry for the four fuel groups, you've gotta tell me what's more important to him than that!"
Xion Stopped up by the halting 'wait I'm not expecting you to die, I just respect your heroic hustle', Xion in her black-and-purple armor stops in the middle of the fight, her swordtip dropping as she engages in UNSKIPPABLE DIALOGUE BOX.

"I'm sorry, Dynamo. I'm the hero of everyone's hearts, X!"
Pronounced 'key', but unfortunately, Dynamo is getting the TV-Nomura translation. This will be relevant in a moment.

"It's nice to meet you!"

Xion extends her left hand, outwards, to shake.

She is instead shook by EARTH GEYSER, failing to mash out of the effect at all and being ragdolled up and back in a camera angle that definitely looks like a not-human sprawl through the air.

"Uwaaa!" She cries, toku sparks flying as she crumples on the ground and bounces, 'belted' (medallion'ed?) out of her transformation.

Rising to a knee, she winces and holds her stomach. Strawberry warns everyone to close their eyes, pop their ears, and exhale.

She knows whats coming.

"That means I'll need to get done -- at top speed! Let's go with:"

She thrusts forward two medallions this time - One, bearing the red-helmed white-lensed face of Drive, and the other the purple helmed, yellow-eyed Mashin Chaser.

"Double X!"
Pronounced 'Two Key'.

Transitioning from a pained crouch to a runner's braced-sprint, bits of purple armor and a red, sash-like tire spin around her. Two bracers, like frozen flames, spin around her wrists, where she slots both left and right medallion.

Her armor announces in a faux Mr. Belt voice.

DRIVE! Type -- Viral!

Leaping into the air with her momentum, the added spin from her takeoff blooms into a cannon drill heel-forward kcik.

Her Chase bracer makes the finisher announcement, while her energy carries her through Dynamo. EXECUTION

The blast of energy is contained in spinning, tire-like bands of force. BREAK KEY

Chase's belt-voice does not mess around with Nomuraisms. It has reset them.

Instead of waiting for the camera angle to show her COOLLY LANDING BEHIND Dynamo, though, Xion kicks right through a yawning darkness portal, and re-appears crouched behind Strawberry's original firing position, armored hands clapped over helmed ears, and in a deep knee bend squat of expectant devastation.
Shinnosuke Tomari As Dynamo shifts, Kamen Rider Drive is forced to pull back, but at the least, it feels familiar. He moves to slide out of the way of the explosions, foot tires allowing him to drift and agilely shift, but the backblast hits him, burning into his armor. Drive is about to grab the orange car from earlier, shift into more melee and return for some strikes, when Strawberry gives her warning. "Alright. Mr. Belt, let's shift gears." A green garbage truck is grabbed, put into the wrist slot, as he pulls the switch on the belt, pulls the armbracer, and then starts to shift armor again. As the armor shifts into lime-green, with the tire moving from diagonal to straight sideways across the top of the torso, with the helmet splitting out like horns, Drive trades the handle sword for a pistol shaped like a car door.

DRIVE! Type -- Technic!

Pointing the Door Gun straight at Dynamo, Drive fires off several shots of pure laser energy at center of mass, opens the door on the side of the gun, reloading it, and closes it. Every movement is robotic, and the aim is incredibly precise - as if calculated by a computer.

Charge!

Once reloaded, Drive fires off three more shots. This isn't a Roidmude, but it's close enough, and clearly willing to hurt people. Therefore, he can use full force.

As this happens, he finally gets a chance to look at Xion. "That form...is that..."

Mr. Belt, with his silky smooth deep voice, replies. "It looks like a hybrid transformation between you and Chase. But where did she get it?"
Strawberry Princess      Strawberry's tactical positioning saves her from the highest concentration of energy geysers, but she still has a couple to dodge- elegantly kicking off the building's wall, she pulls a swooping backflip to avoid the first by an appropriately cautious margin, then hard airbrakes and jukes to the left to avoid the followup in a maneuver that leaves her seeing spots.

"You didn't come here to die," she says, uncertain and half-pleading. "Whatever you're here for, it's not worth it!"

Swooping back in to brace herself against the wall of the building as if it were a floor, and aiming 'down' around the corner, she checks her wand's timer and disengages safeties. Its reactor revs up to a dangerous, crackling hum.

       04:37

Control rods shift and raise out of the wand reactor's wells like a blossoming flower, letting an unearthly light shine out of the gaps. The fissile material inside lets out an ethereal, rising shriek as its chain reaction starts to build. A faint taste of metal, and a prickling sensation like a sunburn, radiate out through the air.

"FIRING ON MEDIUM! THREE," Strawberry says, driven more by raw habit from dozens of tests than by any practical concern. Everyone here has either run away already, or has heard her prior warning on the radio. A pinkish hemispherical bubble-shield materializes between the tip of the wand and her, serving to partially shield Strawberry from her own attack. She sights down her wand's feathery wings, aiming diagonally downwards at the Reploid.

"TWO." As the exponential reaction builds, the metal of her wand starts to creak and shudder under the strain. The darkened crystal at its tip flickers to life, briefly reignited by the terrifying influx of energy. A column of blue Cherenkov light, like a Vegas spotlight that makes the air itself glow, paints Dynamo's features in lethal chiaroscuro to project the path of Strawberry's attack. With a second to spare, she very deliberately redirects the 'spotlight' above him, still aiming diagonally-down at the dirt but now angled to pass several feet above his head. It's a statement.
Strawberry Princess      "O-"

There is a noise like thunder that's felt more than heard, a reverberating wall of air that hits like a tidal wave. The pink-white beam fires, consuming all the energy of a nuclear reactor on the verge of meltdown. It can be seen even through one's eyelids. For several seconds afterwards, local radios are jammed with the roaring static of a fireball blackout.

It won't hit Dynamo- it's aimed overhead not to. But the concussive force should batter and deafen him, and the brightness of the flash should blind him and light him on fire. More pertinent is what it does to the ground behind him, scorching a glowing tunnel hundreds of feet diagonally down through dirt and bedrock. Most of the matter seems to have been simply annihilated from existence; the edges of the hole are given the mercy of only having been reduced to lava.

After a second, the entire tunnel collapses, causing a crumbling sinkhole in the shape of a line far out into the distance.

"I DON'T MISS," Strawberry shouts over the crunch of crumbling rock and the ringing of hearing damage, her voice still trembling. "PLEASE LEAVE NOW."
Spider-Man     In Spider-Man's mind, that mysterious sense he has keeps swinging weirdly around the field. When Strawberry Princess moves her wand, he feels the cone of potential danger like a scalpel in his brain. It slices the environment as he moves. When it starts winding up properly, the entire nearby area just floods with that sense of danger. Hair raises on his skin, muscles tense for reasons he can't say, and the lenses of his eyepieces flicker open and closed.

On Strawberry's count, he loosens and protects most of the important machinery in his head as per her request. Despite the eyepieces shutting completely, he can see the sun through them. Webbing that persists through the high heat and concussive force is the only thing that keeps him airborn, or in the battlefield as opposed to knocked out of it.
Hellwarming Trio "Wh-" Recalling Strawberry Princess' warning, Utsuho and Rin both have their methods of reacting to it. Rin complies with the warning, but Utsuho is more than content to only follow some of the directions in favor of watching the spectacle unfold.

It is magnificent. She can barely even see in the aftermath, but Utsuho just starts cackling with glee at the destruction. Rin does't look up until after the fact, though, then starts shrieking in a panic.

Utsuho: "Hahaha! Yeah, that's more like it!"
Rin: "It wasn't us! You saw! It was the baker!"
Reliant It's frustratingly difficult to tell precisely how much damage Dynamo has taken. Yeah, he's got a blown out leg, but he's holding up pretty well all told. Benefits of being a machine, and there's probably some subtle self-repair going on here. He regards Utsuho with some exasperation, and replies, "I just said that 'fighting spirit' isn't my forte, you know..."

His mobility is pretty shot through due to the leg, though. A counter-attack in the form of an exploding pillar of Utsuho's own greets him, and it's hard to tell exactly what happens after that. The webs hem him in even after the smoke clears, steam rising off the surface of his armor-- part of which is gummed up from webbing where he DID apparently move minutely while engulfed in blinding light. His hair, though, is conspicuously only gently singed. Perhaps that's what he was defending.

A display is blinking on his visor.

What Xion gets up to actually provokes the strongest defensive reaction out of him-- the dual saber re-ignites and he brings it up, interpreting 'viral' in a very serious way. The beam saber swings forward and is brought to a rapid spin, desperately ablating a surprising amount of the force of Xion's RIDER KICK before she zips away to get clear of the imminent gigantic blast. There's still quite a lot of "carry through" that really wouldn't happen if his block was perfect; he didn't swat her out of it, he just stopped the signature kill from quite managing to be a signature kill.

As is tradition, he'll definitely be reeling when he collapses after all of this. It just won't take during the rush of battle.

Kamen Rider Drive's subsequent fire comes in underneath that heavy defense, provoking sparks and sputtering from the center of Dynamo's mass.

Then comes the tremendous beam. Dynamo brings his saber about a second time, spinning it overhead to ablate some of the incoming force. How it does that -- it's an absurdity -- is hard to say, but it does. Until the force becomes too intense and the weapon goes spinning off to the ground, turning off as some sort of safety feature is triggered. It is not, however, destroyed or badly damaged by the fumble.

Dynamo on the other hand experiences a series of explosions across the surface of his body, which in most circumstances would signal a robot completely blowing up-- roidmude, too! For a moment the explosions are bright enough themselves to blind and avert gazes. Even so--

Even so in the aftermath, Dynamo is still standing. His left arm remains disproportionately damaged from being wrangled by Spider-Man, and his right hand is freshly cracked up its whole length to his shoulder where the armor has had otherwise irrelevant impurities and flaws exerted upon with just enough force to crack it apart like the earth being shaken and distorted beneath an earthquake.

Even so...

What is clear is that Dynamo is, however much on the back foot, however many explosions just wracked his body as various components across his armor reached the limits of their structural integrity, still at the low end of in good enough shape to fight.

He closes one eye again and gives a sharp, appreciative whistle.

"Nice. Very nice. Haven't seen anything like that since Repliforce bit it. Of course, you're right that I didn't come here to put it all on the line, but I already told you that. And since you did such a good job, I'll give you a little something," Dynamo points towards Spider-Man. "Feel free to have a look at the saber, kid. I've got more than extra. But about your question..."

He jerks a fractured thumb back towards the power plant, "This power plant stuff is just that guy's vice, and this world's got a bad rep with robots. But this place has some interesting involvements with some major events that fractured the Multiverse way back, and that has some value."

"Ciao," he concludes, collapsing back into a bubble of light that compresses into a point that vanishes into the sky.
Shinnosuke Tomari "Wait!" Drive says as Dynamo makes his exit. "I've still got drive to spare!"

And then he's gone. The rider sighs, and is about to detransform, when Strawberry reminds him of the other one. The other one, is currently talking to himself, trying to waltz into the power plant. "Well, then! Now that I didn't get nuked, time to eat my dinner...!"

"Oh no, you don't." Spark Man stops in his tracks as Drive speaks up, flicking the belt switch again, pulling the Shift Car brace once, and pulling the Door Gun's trigger three times.

Full Throttle! Technic!

Three lasers all blast out, but instead of impacting in his back, they slow, and then shift around. One moves to hit him hard in the side, pushing him towards the sink hole. The next moves to fire him straight into it, hitting him the chest, causing him to do a Looney Tunes-esque running motion in thin air. And then...

The third one comes straight down on his head, exploding brightly, as it moves to shunt him straight down the sink hole. Normally, he'd explode midway through, but.

A portal gate appears, and Spark Man gets sucked through. It closes immediately after. He's gone.

Removing the Shift Cars, Drive becomes Tomari, who leans against the Tridoron supercar, sighs, and then turns to the others. "Thanks for the help. What was that all about?"
Hellwarming Trio Utsuho: "Yeah, well, listening isn't mine!"
Rin: "That's not somethin' to be braggin' about, Okuu."

As the excitement over the destruction of the ground behind Dynamo subsides, it's time to listen to things that the pair don't quite understand much about just yet. Following his thumb to the power plant, Utsuho and Rin both narrow their eyes at what he's saying, then look at each other, then shrug and turn right back to Dynamo just as he bubbles up and disappears.

Utsuho: "Wha... Get back here! I didn't even get to really stretch my legs yet!"
Rin: "Never mind that. There's still that other weird robot that ran off!"

Utsuho still has a chance! Alas, Spark Man escapes through the gate, and she's looking considerably grumpier than before while Rin hurries over to try and sneak in some more 'didn't destroy anything' points.

"Dunno, bro. I figured you and all these other weirdos would have a better idea." Rin replies, reaching up to scratch behind her cat ears and leaving her human ears alone. "Is that not something that usually happens? We were just here to eat, so... You saw, right? We didn't break a thing!"
Spider-Man     Spider-Man swings down, slowing his momentum with expert movements and transitioning into a hang from the webs above, upside-down, near the edge of the sinkhole. "I mean, don't look at me! Most I got was that guy telling me 'this place has some interesting involvements with some major events that fractured the Multiverse way back'. Something about the multiverse?" He upside-down shrugs, a motion which lifts his whole body while his shoulders remain motionless. "Did you ever 'fracture the multiverse', Mister Tomari? Or do you know what he was talking about?"
Strawberry Princess      Strawberry's skin is turning an uncomfortable shade of sunburnt-pink even as the temporary deafness and blindness start to subside. With the second threat handily taken care of by Tomari, she drifts to the ground, shuts her wand off with a grinding clunk of control rods, de-transforms, and... finally notices Xion behind her!

That gets a little yelp and a brief fidget in the direction of her gun before she realizes who it is- there's the instinctive fear of getting Toku Bastarded again- followed immediately by a nervous laugh. "Oh, god. You got me. What, were you there the whole time? I didn't- I didn't even see."

Her voice and posture are already slowly relaxing from the sharp authority of a magical superhero to the gently awkward demeanor of a gangly twentysomething; whatever mental resource she draws on to have that confidence, it must be on a time limit too. By the time she makes her way over to Shinnosuke, her face has settled into an awkward, half-grimacing smile. "Are you feeling alright, Mr. Tomari? It- I thought you hit that car pretty hard, right at the start..."
Xion Xion, in her "Type Viral" armor, which has a weird 'it works, but it's also clashing' black-purple-red-yellow-headlight-X-tire-gunmetal armor, stands up behind Strawberry as she's noticed. Pulling both medallions out of her bracers, her form swishes with an un-light, de-rezzing in magic voxels.

The Chase medallion offers mild, cool-flat support.

Clean Break.

"You said to get out of the way! I know you won't shoot me if you're trying - but making it easier means you can go--"

Xion flashes a winning smile and pops a thumbs up, her fist closed around the Drive medallion. "Full throttle."

With an eyepop of realization, she remembers Tomari is right there!

Patiently waiting for Kamen Rider Drive to switch to his garbage truck based form and `remove the trash` from the Power Plant with his own finisher, she mills about like a filthy civilian. "Chase says hi, by the way!"

Chase says nothing of the sort. Chase says 'Die, Kamen Rider'. But Xion has a really rosy view of Local Twonk Mashin Chaser.
Shinnosuke Tomari "Wait, were you also here for the electricity?" Tomari's half-joking, but that probably won't be clear to Utsuho and Rin. As Spider-Man asks him about what Dynamo was talking about, Tomari shrugs, pulling out a small box of candy and popping a white round piece into his mouth. Milk candy.

"No idea. This is my second interaction with Multiversals. The first was with that girl around." He gestures towards Xion.

As Strawberry seems worried about him, though, he just tries a reassuring smile, though there's clearly something on his mind - probably the case. "I'm fine, thank you. Just...there can be no peace like that, huh? We'll have to strive to do our best. I'm all fuzzy now, though." Tomari taps his temple a few times, and sighs. "Something's bugging me, but I won't be able to solve it today."

And then Xion says cursed words. "I'm...I'm sure he did. How do you know Chase?"
Xion Belatedly, as people begin to drift away, Xion is directed a very portentious questions.

"I'm Chase's ally! The hero of everyone's hearts -- X!"
Pronounced 'key'.

She does a little impromptu pose-salute-arm-thrust, thinks better of it, coughs, and drops her hands. "I'm Xion."
Pronounced 'Shion'.

"It's pretty cool how well Chaser and Drive's power works together. I'm glad friends can combine like that."
Hellwarming Trio "What? No, we were looking for fried chicken and popcorn. I could make this more power in my sleep!" Utsuho boasts with another laugh, apparently not quite getting the joke. Her stomach rumbles immediately afterwards, though, and then she just starts floating upwards. "Speaking of... You know where to find some of that stuff?"

"That's Okuu, and I'm Orin!" Rin announces proudly afterwards, although her face pales just a bit and her tails tuck in as she realizes she just gave her name to several Paladins. Or cops. Or cop Paladins. "We're the ones that helped here, remember! It could've been way worse if we weren't here, you know!"

"Chase and Drive... So you two got powers like those cars, then?" Utsuho mumbles as she floats back down, looking just a bit disappointed at her inability to find a fried chicken place even after floating up a few yards. "But you both look so... Different from each other. What's with that?"
Shinnosuke Tomari Tomari blinks at the impromptu arm-thrust, and then nods as she reveals her actual name and realizes what she was doing. But her last line has him reeling, a bit.

"About that...I don't think Chase and I are really friends. But if you're his ally, but also helped me, then that's fine, right?" He then turns over towards her. "I'll contact the DMV and have them release your app. Thank you for all your hard work." It's the least he can do for helping him fight Dynamo.

About Rin and Utsuho, he responds as he starts to open the car door. He gives directions to a nearby food stand, and then says. "There's nobody like me. Every Kamen Rider is different. But there's one thing they have in common, as far as I can tell - they all want to bring forth justice." It's a little pithy, but as he gets into the car and closes the door, starting the engine, Mr. Belt speaks up, placed on the dashboard.

"That Xion...I'm not sure we can trust her, Shinnosuke." Tomari just laughs, and shifts the car into gear.

"Maybe not, but if she's the hero of everyone's hearts, then we'll give her a chance. Let's go."

The Tridoron drives off. What an interesting operation.
