Scene #7537: Enter the Gungeon, Chamber Mouse

Lily	Last we left off, the Gungoneers are faced with a hole. Rats scurry around and the depths of the hole seem immeasurable, no rope or ladder to climb down. The Save Button just looks at the Gungeoneers, almost tapping its foot... if it had one. "If you're waiting for a chambered shellevator to bring you down, you're out of luck, Gungeoneers. You'll have to fall down in order to continue." Candles flicker around the room, keeping the brightness up in this large room... The opened hole awaits.
Yang Xiao Long	"Welp, don't need any more invitation for me." remarks the blonde brawler, walking over, and unceremoniously hopping over the edge into the hole. She keeps her eyes open, and arrests her momentum before she lands, by firing her gauntlets straight down, using the recoil to bleed off speed before landing in a superhero pose, likely still cracking the ground beneath her.
Corona Arclite	"Coulda said that sooner," Corona retorts. Adjusts her goggles, just in case she needs the visual enhancements. "... Not that Ah got any intention of fallin' into who-knows-what. Might be poo gas down there." Instead she pulls the end of the grappler out of the back of her gunsmith gauntlet, clamps it onto the edge of the hole, and uses that to lower herself into the opening and start rapelling the way down.
Tomoe	Things were going all right with that Tomoe is going to leap down, she's start parkouing off the walls leaping and bounding down. She isn't going to stop moving till she hits the bittom, if that doesn't work she'll free fall and just use her brief flight time to break her fall.
Nanoha Takamachi	"Mmmm... I'm not sure anything good as ever come of jumping into a dark hole. But I guess we've come all this way so far. It would be a shame to stop now!" Nanoha nods enthusiastically. Although it seems unwise to just jump in... Sometimes you have to take the plunge! Not that the aerial ace needs to plunge, as she simply steps out over the hole and slowly floats downwards, following after the others.
Lily	The falling seems to take forever... going down... down... until they land quite safely on the ground... into a room that looks almost as similar as the one they were in before. Green cubes, four of them, litter the ground along with what looks to be red bullets in the shape of a heart. On each of the cardinal (hah) directions in this square room is a hallway that leads to what might be another room, but with four directions, and so far no enemies... There is a procession of rats though in the north direction though.
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite grunts as her boots hit the floor, and with snap of the wrist disengages the grappler.... and marvels at just how long it takes for the gadget to reel itself back into her glove. Looks up at the hole. "It didn't -seem- that deep..." Then shrugs. This dungeon has already proven to have a casual disregard for euclidean space. Pulls out her weapon. "No one run off inna diff'rent doors this time."
Yang Xiao Long	"I say we go north." remarks Yang casually as she comes up beside Corona... "Dunno what these things are for though." she adds, reaching out for one of the red bullet heart things. "Gonna wait for the others to get here 'fore I make any moves, though."
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha finally touches down on solid ground once more, after a rather long float downwards. She looks around the room, specifically at the cubes. And the heart bullets. Nanoha nods in agreement with Yang, both about the direction to start with, as well as the lack of understanding of the beart bullets purpose. Probably something they'll find out later. Gripping the neck of the guitar she currently carries, Nanoha adds, "Without any other obvious clue as to which one to try first... We might as well try the one with the rats. They seem interested in something that way, after all." She starts heading north, following the procession. While try to avoid touching any of the rats. No need to anger them just yet...
Tomoe	one way or another Tomoe ends up making it down the shaft she comes in for a landing rises upa nd smirks a bit. "So let's see what Cardinal has to throw at us today..."
Yang Xiao Long	"Huh... they're like, some kinda healing item or somethin'." remarks Yang, after the bullet disappears. The scratches on her body, and her general tired look seem to alleviate a bit, and her Aura flares back to full, before fading back to invisibility again.
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite huhs as Yang grabs one of the red bullet-hearts and heals up. "Then we best stock up, and then move out."
Lily	North seems to echo the same looks as the room before, the same four cardinal directions, the same green boxes and red bullet-hearts. Is it the Gungeon trolling Yang and everyone else or? There's some rats again, going East this time, but that's the only difference at this juncture. Not even a treasure box or new guns. Just more pathways.
Yang Xiao Long	"I swear to the Brothers if you start fuckin' with us, Imma start bashin' down walls!" she growls 'up' at the Gungeon itself, "I'm gonna give it the benefit of doubt, an' say the rats are meant to lead us somewhere..." she adds, moving to follow the rats east.
Corona Arclite	"Ah reckon it's pro'ly a trap, but better to follow the path to the trap than t'get lost in the unmarked routes," Corona murmurs. She's not as vocal about it as the fiesty blonde brawler but she's suspicious... but it's still the best option to follow if they don't want to get lost and wandering probably forever in all the other possible passageways. She's just gonna keep gun in hand and ready, to be on the safe side. Her tail constantly twitchs, ready to move, ears flicking back and forth from the sides of her stetson, fennec senses on the wariest level possible.
Nanoha Takamachi	Another room similar to the previous... With equally as many exits. This is starting to feel like a maze. Nanoha seems to have sufficient patience to simply continue following the rats, expecting them to be the key to making their way through this labyrinth. Although, there may come a point where Nanoha's patience grows thin. At which point Nanoha may have to MAKE her own way throu-Oh right. She's not quite using the same type of magic as she usually does. Looking down at the guitar in her hand, she wonders if it even would work. The others agree though to follow the rats though. So Nanoha continues forward with them.
Tomoe	Tomoe would push ahead at this point anmd she's keeping her run at the ready aas she goes. "We might as well keep up with the rat race." She jokes as she glances over ot COrona for a moment then to Yang. "I never known Cardinal to single out someone like that before..."
Lily	The new room still looks the same, nothing changed. Four directions, four ways to go, more rats this time going south. There's some stray bulletkin around, but they don't seem to pay the Gungeoneers any mind either. At least, until something breaks free from the wall, hearing Yang's threat. A Wall Mimic and boy does it come in guns blazing, straight towards the gungeoneers! Another one pops out of the wall and another. Four of them in total start blazing bullets through the area as rats scatter...
Yang Xiao Long	"..." Yang is oddly silent when the Wall Mimics break out of their hiding spots. She's oddly silent as she racks the slides on her gauntletes and starts dodging the incoming bullets. She's oddly silent as she dives in to start beating the crap out of these mimics. Once they're done, though, she looks 'up'. And flips both barrels at where she keeps talking at.
Corona Arclite	The rumble of movement gets Corona's ears snapping rigid, and the wily vixen ducks and rolls in the nick of time to avoid the initial onslaught from the Mimics. "Tarnation Yang, Ah reckon ya hurt it's feelings." Even as she pulls out one of her oversized handguns and opens fire, defaulting to her usual sidearms because she doubts the peashooter is going to do much to living moving walls.
Tomoe	Tomoe will not engage the bulletkin if they don't attack them there's more to worry about, right? wAit what the heck is that is heaing right for them and her come the gunplay. "Here we go." Tomoe iwll attempt tppo ge the thing's attention and fire many B U L L E T S at the thing as she attempt to get agro on herself to let her companions do their thing.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha sighs a little quietly as it seems Yang's words are once again causing the dungeon to react. And not in a friendly way. For the group soon finds itself under fire once more, from the walls. Probably cousins of that door mimic... Nanoha quickly raises a hand, a Round Barrier appears just beyond it to protect her from some of the bullets sent speeding her way. Her other hands summons a magic guitar pick of out of the air. Raising it up, she rakes it across the strings of the guitar hanging from her neck. The musical gunstrument fires off its deadly musical notes once more, Nanoha trying to catch at least a couple of the aggressive walls in the four streams of strangely shaped bullets.
Lily	Cousins, distant cousins. The Wall Mimics go down after not too much trouble from Yang's assault, Tomoe's B U L L E T S, Corona's sidearms and Nanoha's Gunstrument. From the North though, a strange bipedal rat man, donning a blue cloak, red shirt and green pants stroll out. "Oy, whatcha doing makin' all that racket up here? Youse tryin' to piss off the Rat?" it twirls some sort of side arm that looks like a Desert Eagle crossed with a block of cheese... "Oh... it's one of youse Gungeoneers types, eh." he laughs, shaking his head some, "Youse tryin' to get out of here or tryin' to find the /bullet/... or did youse visit ol' me to revenge that one girl?"
Yang Xiao Long	Yang... just remains silent. Maybe if she gives the Gungeon the Silent Treatment, it'll stop being a giant butt. She lets the others talk to the... rat man, folding her arms and taking a slightly grumpy looking stance, a scowl on her face.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha relaxes a bit after they manage to defeat the wall mimics. Only for a rat man of some kind to come rushing in. Nanoha's not all that unused to animal people, given many of the mage familiars she's run into in her life. Though she's a little surprised to find one here, in the gungeon. When asked what their purpose here is, particularly whether it's for revenge, Nanoha tilts her head, "Who are you?" Yeah. Probably not revenge. Still, Nanoha hmmms, "Well, I guess we're here for the... Bullet? Though finding a way out would probably be the next step after that."
Corona Arclite	There's a click-click as Corona reloads her guns, then tilts her head to the side when the cloaked ratman strolls in.... Squints a bit at his gun. How does that even work? Or is the cheese just decorative greeble? Though considering people had guns made from balloons, heavy cheese pistols maybe isn't so weird. "Fiffy-fiffy, maybe." Then back to the rat, squinting a bit more at the 'revenge' remark. "That's a very specific thing to mention without it bein' asked...."
Tomoe	Tomoe Does a fairly good job and ses as ever the team is on the ball still which is good for all their sakes. She will pause at the voice for a moment she pers at them for a moment and pthink for what she has to say. "I'm here to see what the heck Cardinal's up to." She does not fire yet she waits to see what this one has to say. Then a light bulb goes on. "Wait Lily?!"
Lily	The rat twirls his Elimentaler, "Youse see, I'm ze Resourceful Rat, dats all." he replies towards Nanoha, "I lives here! Gungeoneers leaves lots behind so I'z take them up... I'm not all rude though, I do leaves some nice notes though!" The Rat looks towards Nanoha, "Ah the Bullet that can Kill The Past, huh? You heards the story for it?" The Rat does take a look towards Corona, "Eh, Gungoneers have many reasons to come here. Just a shot, no pun intended, in the dark~!" then he turns towards Tomoe, "Lily? Oh, that girl? Kicked her ass out of the Gungeon for losing to me. Guess she and her partner couldn't handle it." he laughs this mousy little laugh and goes back towards the hallway leading north. "Tell youse what, if you're interested in more of the Bullet story, come and fight me, she didn't put up much of a challenge, but you four...." There's another laugh out of the rat, "Maybe we'll have some funz!"
Nanoha Takamachi	The Bullet that can Kill The Past... An ominous name for a bullet. Even if it can live up to its name, Nanoha isn't sure why one would want to kill the past. Unless it means only a specific part of the past... In which case, is there anything in Nanoha's past that she would wanted killed? It's difficult to say. Nanoha will be the first to admit there have been some difficult times. Difficult... Events. But while they were not pleasant, they still played a part in her being who she is today. Without them, would she even be the same person? Still, the very idea of a bullet being able to Kill The Past is something that would be interesting to at least see. Besides, this seems like it'd be a good opportunity to get a friendly fight in! If this rat was able to defeat Lily, then he's no slouch. And Nanoha is confident in her ability to at least survive, if not win outright. Especially with teammates. Nanoha smiles at the rat, saying, "I'd love to accept such a challenge." She looks at her allies, "How about you?"
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite Watchs the Resourceful Rat. Watchs the way he twirls his weapon with confidence, listens to the way he drops little tidbits without giving a full story. Not until it's earned, at least. The vixen gives her own sidearm a few twirls, followed by one slick motion to drop it into the holster on her belt. Which is pretty much just for show considering she keeps most of herself in subspacial inventory status. "Ah see the spirit of an oppritunist, and fellow gunslinger." She raises a hand to grip the front brim of her hat, and gives it a tip forward with a faint bow of her head. "Ah reckon it'd be one helluva time."
Tomoe	The Bullet that could kill the past? She thought about it for a moment there was something she'd might want to chance but the price? It would likely undo so very much. She howeve could think of the sort of mess this could cause. Either way Tomoe stand ready she pauses. Kicked out? She sees for a moment. She'll have to make sure Lily is all right but the idea of her losing? Means this fellow is very nasty. Given Lily was quite standout to Tomoe in terms of her abilities. "If it a chalelnge you want it's one you will get."
Yang Xiao Long	Yang remains oddly silent... is she really going to go this whole time without another word? She cracks her knuckles, following the others.
Lily	"Well." the Rat grins and turns around. "North, east, north, north. Then drop down the gate." he comments, "Ah.. and to be ... sporting." there's a whip crack sound and items appear in front of the four. Tomoe gets a /BOMB/, unlit. Yang gets what looks like a budget Megabuster. Nanoha gets a drum clip. Finally, Corona gets... another /gun/. The Void Core Assault Rifle. "Noticed you weren't using things to the full advantage, maybe this will get you into gear unlike that Lily girl. Psh, couldn't even get past Phase Two..." he shrugs and wanders off... dissapearing to ... the directions he mentioned earlier!
Yang Xiao Long	Yang picks up the MEGAHAND... collapsing her gauntlets and slipping her hand into the grip. She makes the gesture to reload it, and suddenly, the blue weapon turns a lighter shade of blue. "..." she's still silent, quirking a brow at the weapon, before 'reloading' it again, causing it to revert. "!?" The brawler looks at the others, shrugs, and goes to follow the rat's path.
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite ticks off the directions given in her head, repeating them to herself to put them to memory. It was a trick Windrose had taught her when it came to remembering such things. Then the Resourceful Rat lives up to his title/name by depositing more goodies before them. A whistle escapes her as she picks the new rifle up, turns it over to the side to appraise it with the disconcerning eye of a gunsmith. There's a distinct thematic touch to the appearance similar to the Void Core Cannon she already has. "Y'all must be the kind that appreci'ates a challenge. Much obliged, pardner." She arm the rifle.. and the afforementioned cannon appears floating next to her, like some kind of Option or whatever those are called. "Explains the similarity," she murmurs under her breath before following.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha takes note of the directions they are given. Simple enough... And it seems they are being provided with upgrades! Nanoha reaches out, taking the gift offered to her. She's familiar with the concept of a drum clip... Though she's not exactly sure how she's going to use it for a weapon that doesn't use magazines. Turning the item over in her hand, she wonders, "How..." But as she moves to press it up against the guitar in her hand, there's a brief flash of light. Nanoha looks surprised, as she is now holding a different looking guitar! Formerly red and white, this one has a primarily blue colour scheme. And it's shaped differently too! Floating in the air beside her, Raising Heart chimes, <Weapon Upgrade Complete.> Nanoha smiles in response, "I'm not sure how it's been upgraded... But I look forward to finding out!" Nanoha proceeds onward, following the path described by the rat.
Tomoe	Tomoe Takes a moment she'll take the bomb she notices it's not lit and will make use of this when she htinks it' a good diea. She does try to see is this a one shot item? Or is it something that makes more bombs? She won't take too long though. "Well let's get going shall we? I'm the insane lady that picked up a sword when I knew nothing about using one." She'll make sure of the bomb one way or another once she's settled in with it she's ready to move on with everyone else.
Lily	The Resourceful Rat waits, sitting on a stone throne. Once the Gungeoneers enter, it looks almost like a sewer... atypical of our friendly 'resourceful rodent'. Stone walls, a large grate in the center, four more grates on the corners... and he just /grins/, waiting... "I see you all finally made it, took you enough time." he laughs in that jersey-like accent. "Well, I suppose we should get this going." He stretches out and hops down, the health bars come up, though this one is stranger... There's /six/ of them and three of them are a solid grey. And he just... starts! Bullets the shapes of Cheese Wedges start to spew from the walls and converge on the center while the Rat moves on its way towards there... the mass converging into a wheel of cheese when he jumps and breaks it apart, sending the same Bullet Wedges back towards the Gungeoneers!
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha glances around the final room when they enter. What a... Nice... Sewer. Right then. When the Resourceful Rat suggests they get this started, Nanoha nods enthusiastically, "I would prefer that. I do have to head home at some point to start making dinner." A magical mum's job is never done. As Cheese Wedges start to rain down on the group, Nanoha raises her hand in a repeat of the earlier wall mimic fight. A Round Barrier forms to protect her. However, the cheese proves to be quite powerful, the barrier only able to take a few hits. After which it shatters into motes of pink light, a follow up wedge rushing through to strike Nanoha in the chest. The Mage grunts as she stumbles back from the impact. But she manages to remain standing as she moves a foot to spread out her balance. Raising her gunstrument, she summons another magical pick in her hand and starts to pluck at the strings. Much like its predecessor, the guitar begins to belt out a coherent tune, all the while firing off musical note shaped rounds. Though where before there were four streams going in four directions, there are now two. And they both fly side by side towards the rat!
Yang Xiao Long	Well, he doesn't waste time on pleasantries does he. Those cheese-wedge bullets catch her by surprise, one of them hitting her in the back as it comes in, knocking her flat on her face. She rolls aside, avoiding the return trip and pushing herself to her feet with a slap to the ground and a twist of legs, spinning her back to standing. She narrows her eyes, and pulls the trigger on her weapon, fully expecting it to fire straight away. Instead it begins to bleep and whirr, then starts flashing which makes her let go of the trigger, lobbing a powerful blast of Charged Shot at the Rat.
Corona Arclite	"Sorry pardner. Had to be sure we all get here together, after all." Corona doesn't actually mention why that was a concern... though if he'd really been watching them he'd probably know anyways, so no need to actually bring it. "Iffen yer ready to dance..." Which apparently he is, drawing peculiar projectiles from the sides of the chambers. Corona moves quickly as she tends to, dodging and rolling to avoid the wedges trying to wedge a path through them all. It's going fairly good... Until the Rat slams the compilation and sends it blasting back out across the arena again. That catchs her off guard a bit, and still gets caught in a few of the bursts that sends her skidding away. She grunts, pushes herself back onto her feet, as broken bits of ablative armor and greebles click clatter on the floor around her. Corona raises the VCAR and pulls the trigger, firing several laser bursts at the Rat. Then hits the action to reload the rifle. Which causes the hovering Void Core Cannon to rotate around, and fire off several of it's rocket-like energy projectiles at R-Rat as well!
Tomoe	Tomoe takes note as her r becomes a R and she grins oh it's got an upgrade. She's going to get a chance to try it out really darn quick here. She look at the boss for a moment and pauses for a momen there's six of him? Wait shadow bodies? It could be something like that as Tomoe is cuaght in a hail of fire and she's riddled with bullets. She has red damanged wireframes all over her body but she's stnadin and looking a bit unhappy. She leveles the R at them and opens fire with R O C K E T S now which will explode when they impact with something.
Lily	No, the Resourceful Rat does not waste time on pleasantries. The timing on jumping up lets the Rat avoid the music stylings of Nanoha, letting him fire off some cheese-shaped kunai at a rapid pace towards her as the sound of a whip echoes through out the chamber. A whip-like tail extension of red bullets extends off the Rat's tail, growing bigger as the Void Core rifle and cannon hit home along with Tomoe's R O C K E T, and Yang's Charged Shot knocks literally knocks him backwards. He does use this momentum to whip that tail-bullet-whip around, covering the entire room, trying to smack everyone with the literal tail end of it.
Yang Xiao Long	Yang brings up her arms, to tank through that tailwhip, the bullets piercing her Aura and leaving nasty slices along her arms and legs as they're partially deflected, but not entirely. She grunts and double-taps reload on her MEGAHAND, changing it up to its alternative form. She then rapidly pulls the trigger, causing multiple tornadoes to start tearing at the ratman from multiple angles.
Tomoe	Things are getting more than a little bit on the crazy side as the RAt isn't wastint time, nor are they faffing about either. She's caught by anotehr punnishing barrage of attacks but she's fot more rockets but Tomoe is looking even more distorte for lack of a better team as she attempt to leap over the Rat and fire a R O C K E T from above.
Corona Arclite	Yep, this rat sure isn't playing around. As the bullet whip lashes out Corona turns, letting the string of pellets lash across the back of her duster. Unfortunately that dislodged the last of the extra protective inserts she had, clunking to the ground at her feet. She just kicks it out of the way, no time to worry about it now. She growls softly and spits to the side, then adjust her goggles. Then reachs over to tap something into the controls of her punk-tech gauntlet, causing an ominous hum. Also noting that the Option fire didn't deplete the VCC's own ammo. Nice. We'll save more of that for later. She takes aim with the rifle and opens fire, sending off several more triple bursts of lasers at the Rat, trying to fire at angles to cover more space around the enemy at some cost of firepower.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha looks disappointed as her initial attack falls flat, the rat able to evade the barrage of musical tunes. No matter, it's only a minor inconvenience. She'll just have to try and drum it into his head that he shouldn't understimate them. And soon the group will have him beat. Nanoha finds several cheese kunai flying her way, the Mage choosing not to errect a defense at this time, but focus on preparing another solo. The cheese kunai slice through parts of Nanoha's Barrier Jacket, leaving holes behind in the magical fabric. But they don't deter Nanoha, who quickly runs a short distance to find a new angle to attack from, before strumming the guitar strings once more. As more bullet notes shoot their way towards the rat in a dual stream, the pick in Nanoha's finger shatters. She raises her hand to summon another one... The guitar's means of reloading. And as she does so, the gunstrument fires off a large pick-shaped bullet towards the rat. Nanoha's eyes go a little wide at the sight, "Oh! The reload is different too!"
Lily	The latest bunch of attacks do a number on the Rat and the tell tale sign of it going down, not to mention the health bars hitting the GREY AREA! end up making what is commonly known as a phase change.... The grate opens up and the Rat grins, diving down... and taking everyone with it into a darkened room. At least it's dark for just a moment as glowing red eyes pierce the darkness... and the Resourceful Rat's HP bars pop back up, into the GREY AREA again... and the RAT MECH makes an appearance! With a clap, many rat-shaped Spent start coming out of the stonework, the metal rat like things moving to try to chomp at everything living... that isn't the rat itself!
Nanoha Takamachi	The rat boss makes his way down through the open grate into darkness below. Nanoha wonders if this is a trap. It's probably a trap. But it's also probably the dreaded phase change portion of the fight. Curious to see what the rat will appear as next, Nanoha follows downwards. Landing softly on the floor of the lower chambed, Nanoha tries to peer through the darkness. Maybe someone should create some light. Nanoha was just about two, but someone beats her to it. Though the red light was probably not a great choice. Plus why two separate lights? One large one would be better. Oh. As the lighting of the new boss stage rises to reveal LEGALLY DISTINCT METAL GEAR RAT, Nanoha eyes go a little wide at the sight. It's impressive, for sure. Looking like quite the marvel of rat engineering. Unfortunately, Nanoha feels less impressed by the sudden swarm of machine rats. Slowly taking a few steps back as they approach. And before she knows it, Nanoha finds herself covered in the little biters. The metal rats trying to chew through her Barrier Jacket in multiple places. Nanoha winces at the bitings, trying to swat the rats off her. But there's too many! She has no choice... "Jacket Purge!" Nanoha's jacket suddenly shines with pink light and a moment later, there's any explosion! Centered right on Nanoha herself! Metal rats are sent flying everywhere! As the smoke fades, it reveals Nanoha. Now rat free. Though the jacket part of her combat dress is now missing! Nanoha having detonated the magic forming it to blast the annoying pests away from her. Now briefly free of chewing rates, Nanoha turns her attention back towards the Metal Gear Rat. Once more strumming her guitar, she starts firing off more streams of magical notes at it.
Corona Arclite	The Resourceful Rat drops down through the grate at the center of the room. "Wait didn't he say somethin' 'bout a Phase 2 that they didn't get to befo--awk!" That's as far as her remark gets before they're all dropped in after him. The landing is neither graceful or comfortable. With a grunt Corona gets up, dusts herself off, and then does the 'Slow Turn Look' towards the red glows illuminating in the dark, just before their source comes into full view. "Tarnation! Where's Solid Snake when we could use 'im!" And then more near copyright infringement as the Rat-Spent swarm into the room. Not wanting to expend the more potent ammo, Corona switches to the Peashooter and uses it to gun down the critters while juking and janking away from the snapping jaws. A few still manage to get some gnaws in before they're kicked off like old beartraps and shot down after. "Welp, he wasn't lyin' 'bout the 'resourceful' part." Corona stows that gun as well, and draws one of her own. It looks like the sort of revolver you'd probably see at some convention, with extra greebles of brass and copper. Until Corona slaps the cylinder with her other hand to give it a spin, and the gun starts to crackle as the rotational part is actually some kind of microsized generator. Which Corona turns and starts firing at the big rat mech, shooting 'bullets' of electrical sparks that will maybe do something messy with the mech's mechanics as well.
Yang Xiao Long	The Blonde Brawler hrks as she's dragged into the Boss's SECOND PHASE. Those mooks swarm over her, forcing her to go melee and punch them, while they shred at her Aura, causing it to begin to flicker and fail. That's when she gets angry. Her Aura explodes outwards, tossing the mooks aside as she finally makes a sound. It's a bestial roar of defiance as she puts the MEGAHAND away and deploys her gauntlets. She hurls herself at the RatMech, lofting a little bit higher than its height, and drops down atop it, slamming her fist into the plate, unloading the entire clip of shells into it.
Tomoe	Things are not going very well for tomoe she is getting the hell beat out of her, she now gets an idea she doesn't have long before she's going to have to run, so shes' going to ahve to burn through the ammo she has on her. She need to at least make an impact for her friends. So shes' going to so it she looks at the Rat Mech. She levels her weapon and then open sfire, with R O C K E T after R O C K E T she goes trying to just either distract or put the serious hurt on the Rat mech.
Lily	The Legally Distinct Mousers do their job, acting as fodder to protect the Legally Distinct METAL GEAR RAT, they detonate before anything can be done to the Mech, at least for Nanoha and Corona. The Rat Mech doesn't seem to budge with Yang' until that one, well placed shotgun blast to its face gives a heavy hit towards it.... Tomoe's R O C K E T after R O C K E T streak towards that hole that Yang made with her attack and explode the mech quite heavily, the cartoonish booms that are emitted and the Resourceful Rat screams in annoyance, "HOw dare you try and destroy my ultimate creation!" and with that.... he pulls out a Gungeon Mage... and starts filling the area with bullets!
Nanoha Takamachi	"This is it, everyone! We need to push through! We can't back down now!" Bullets fill up the chamber, Nanoha trying to ignore the stinging as they impact her Barrier Jacket. She puts all her focus into her playing, like some kind of guitar hero. Even though she's never been particularly musical in nature. Still, her fingers drag that pick across the guitar strings, producing an actually decent song thanks to the fact that Nanoha's not really playing at all and the guitar is just producing its own music due to the will of the gungeon. Nanoha takes to the air as she plays, circling around the !METAL GEAR to barrage it was twin columns of musical notes from multiple angles.
Yang Xiao Long	That last hit took a lot of the wind out of Yang's sails. She turtles up again as that Gun Mage fires at her, taking the brunt of it and getting flung back to slam against the chamber wall. She falls from the impact point, pushing herself back up after hitting the ground, panting and bloodied. She slams her fists together, then just straight charges at the Rat Mech again, aiming for the legs with a flurry of punches.
Corona Arclite	"Take it from a machinist," Corona retorts, even as she's using her nimbe fox skills to scoot through the barrages of projectiles, managing to keep it down to minor zorching this time. "Iffen ya don't want it broke, don't bring it into battle!" When she finds a spot that's not being repeatedly bombarded she stops, holsters her tesla revolver, and rearms the Void Corps -- This time with her weilding the Void Core Cannon, and the Void Core Assault Rifle orbiting as an Option as she hefts the larger weapon onto her shoulder. She is going to take full effect of the orbiting gun not using up ammo to fire. Meaning the VCC is still fully armed. She sights up on the rat mecha and opens fire repeatedly with the explosive rocket-like energy blasts. Then hits reload, bringing the Void Core Rifle up and firing several of it's lasers on the spot she'd been aiming at while reloading. Allowing Corona to unload a second volley on the mech, followed by another secondary strafing of lasers from the rifle when she goes to reload. She is really getting the mileage out of this Synergic mechanic!
Tomoe	Tomoe is somehow still standing and this is a bit of a shock to her, she's knew how much she could take. The rat has dished out so mucgh dmage Tomoe barely looks like she's something made of lesh with all the wireframe damage from all the bullets. She's still got a shot ot tweo level though as shre stares him down. "You wanted the fight...you are getting one." She then levels the rocket and fires. "Dodge this!"
Lily	And dodge the Mech does! By falling right down as Yang punches the hell out of its knees, cracking the support and making it crash right down from that flurry of punches, which helps Nanoha's Gunstrument, the HARD ROCK slamming and rocking the mech back and forth, detonating a few key components inside of it... like the Gun Mage that explodes in a cute little 'pop'. Corona's own attack fries the internals of the !METAL GEAR, and the Resourceful Rat puts it into gear... four reticles of bullets start to convey down towards the four Gungeoneers, and should they close, they'll explode into multiple more bullets!
Yang Xiao Long	Yang is flagging, so much that she can barely bring her arms up. Bullets slam into her, knocking her away, into the wall again. She falls from it as her Aura breaks, and doesn't get back up.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha nods as it seems that they've managed to damage the mech significantly. Although not to the point of destruction yet. It can clearly still fight back! Nanoha is already preparing her next attack when the cluster bullets strike her in the chest. She stumbles back, wincing at the impact. But after a moment she stands tall once more, "Don't worry, we can do this!" Nanoha raises her hand with the magic pick between her fingers... Ding ding ding ding ding! Nanoha blinks in surprise as a holographic screen appears beside her with a bell symbol and the current time, "A-Ah... It's that late already!?" "Sorry, everyone! I need to back down now, or I'll be too late to get home and cook dinner for my daughter!" Nanoha lowers her hand, letting the magic pick flash away as she takes several steps back to bow out of the fight.
Corona Arclite	Corona Arclite may be an old hand at run-and-gun tactics, but even her gear can take the strain of near constant evasive maneuvers for so long. When the bullet reticles start to home in and proximity alarms go off on her goggles' HUD, she lunges to the side to move away from the strike zone. Unfortunately the dash booster built into one of her boots chooses now to give out, and the sudden destabilzation of force sends her for a tumble instead of the graceful dive and roll she had intended. The haphazard fall leaves her close enough to set off the reticle's explosion into smaller bullets, but since she fell alway from where it activated she's just far enough to not get blasted into oblivion as some of the shots spread away just enough to miss. It takes a moment of smoke rising and dust settling before she groans, reachs over to grab her hat, and replace it on her head as she slowly gets up. Stows the Void Corps, and draws her trademark crimson handcannon... though even with the gauntlet she's wore out enough she has to hold it with both hands to turn and aim, cycling explosive rounds into it's ammo. "Been 'while since been pushed this far..." she murmurs, and fires. "But the rodeo ain't done yet!"
Tomoe	Tomoe is battered just about broken she has one shot level she'll take aim at the machiney or the boss whatever she can get a shot in on on the enemy and then Nanoha sya omhing about having to run out for dinner for her kids. That strkes an odd cord wioth Tomoe and not the best of one she'll have to try to talk to Nanoha later, for now though she just up and fires, she's done at this point she's out and doesn't have teh strenght o go Meele and isn't even sure a sword would work in here.
Lily	With two down, the !METAL GEAR focuses on Tomoe and Corona. "Heh, they put up more of a fight than that Lily girl did." he chastizes the two, though the R O C K E T from Tomoe's launcher smashes right into the mech, while it's all battered and broken, it doesn't look like it may have done appreciable damage, "HAAH! That barely scratched it!" comes a taunt, but Corona's well placed shot, with that explosive ammo, hits right in the crack the rocket made. Various alarms and explosions start to surround METAL GEAR RAT ending in one massive explosion, blowing the rat out of the mech and into the wall. The health bars empty and the giant CONGRADULATIONS pop up in mid air.... and the Save Button makes an appearance.
