Kukuru Out in the long stretches of highway that can be found all throughout North America, one in particularly stands out today. What would normally just be another lazy weekend at a mom and pop diner with a mostly-functioning sign to lure truckers and vacation-seekers in for a quick bite to eat has turned into something a little more exciting.

Also, possibly fatal for one or more people, if the large military presence gathered in the parking lot is any indication. An undetonated nuclear warhead has been detected in this area, but not through the military itself transporting it via some kind of secured vehicle with an entire armed escort surrounding it. Instead, the thing had been lugged along by one green-haired individual with a sleepy demeanor, just hauling the ominous-looking container with the big nuclear materials symbols plastered all over it over her shoulder into the diner to get some much needed food.

Could she have gotten that food anywhere else? Probably, but Kukuru had heard this place was a hidden gem for overstuffed breakfast burritos from a nice young man on TV with a colorful shirt. Why not take a detour to get something tasty first?

In retrospect, she probably could have dropped this off first and then come back for food. It's taking up a lot of space inside, and hogging all those seats isn't setting a good example for anyone else that might be visiting. Still, she's already put in her order, and it'd be just as impolite to leave without paying or even tasting the food yet. It doesn't seem like she's aware of the military presence at all just yet, but the soldiers outside aren't taking any chances yet.

They're still holding back for the time being to minimize the chances of the weapon being detonated somehow, whether through stray gunfire or the assumption that Kukuru may actually be able to do that somehow. Considering how jumpy they all seem to be just being outside, however, it may not be long before they roll the dice on swarming the place while the Concord Elite remains inside, looking deep in thought for once in her life while sitting on the danger box and staring at the soda machine.
Utsuho Reiuji Utsuho Reiuji has a magnetic attraction toward nuclear devices of all sorts, even the ones she doesn't really have any use or need for.

She is also a member of the Concord in good standing, having not caused even one disaster that she didn't mean to in the last year. And she's not going to cause one today! If someone else starts one that's not *her* fault. And maybe she wanted to hang out with Kukuru and/or help her bring the device back.

Utsuho's approach to the diner is right in full view, but actually involves subtlety for a change. There were an awful lot of soldiers and Utsuho does not feel like talking with any of them, so a rather enormous crow with a green ribbon tied around the back of its head just kind of flies onto the roof, hops down to a window, pecks at it a few times, and then flutters right in, having managed to slide it open just enough that she could squeeze in.

It's easy to miss that the crow seems to have three legs. It's a little harder to miss that it has a red thing (jewel? eye?) nestled on its chest, but Utsuho was pretty quick so nobody might have gotten a good look at it.

"Caw," says the crow once it enters, followed by a flash of sunlight, a puff of slightly sulphurous smoke, and Utsuho running her hand through her hair to straighten it out. It always gets mussed when she does that.

"Hi! Oh man, did you stop for breakfast? Is there *more* breakfast?"
Kale Hearthward EARLIER
<X-Paladins-Chatter> Kale Hearthward says, "Oh yeah, one of the trainees had a question, maybe you could help me answer it."
<X-Paladins-Chatter> Kale Hearthward says, "If a Watch elite is stealing a nuke, but they're a little girl with a tragic backstory, are you supposed to help them carry it out or are you only expected to hold the door open for them?"

NOW

"I really should not tempt fate..." mutters Kale as he looks over the sitrep report again.

The usual declaration of 'Kale Hearthward, Paladins Elite' with accompanying badge is enough to get him past the military line, presumably, and from there he just heads on in. He thinks he understands Kukuru's deal, at least, so the first contact here can only really follow a few effective patterns.

"Oh hey, Kukuru!" says Kale, feigning surprise, as he makes his way into the diner. "Imagine running into you here! What are the odds?"
Ozhira     Beneath one of the military vehicles, something ichorous and red oozes up out of the ground. Taking a moment to wait for a clearing, it slops out from under the vehicle and abruptly up into a human shape, resolving into a young woman in a matching military uniform in such a way that it looks like she just got up from tying her bootlaces. The uniform markings present her as an officer rather than enlisted, and in this disguise the beast known as Ozhira turns and approaches the front of the military gathering around the diner.

"Give me status," the woman demands, lifting not-actually-binoculars to her face to look and sound like she belongs here among these uniformed servicemen.
Blemishine     An undetonated weapon of mass destruction? Nobody has to say just how dangerous that is.

Out of the military's hands? Right. It's no surprise they want to secure it.

Oh. It's in an Elite's hands. Oh. That makes this pretty complicated.

The horse-eared knight, one of the Paladins' responders to the situation, lags behind Kale briefly to speak with the closest thing she can find to a commander for all the troops put up outside. Despite a strong sense of 'wow, isn't dealing with this sort of thing kind of over my head?', she doesn't let it show at all and is fairly straightforward in reassuring them that they'll keep things under control and to leave everything to them.

Really, the last thing she wants is someone losing their nerve, and this turning into an entire thing. You know, more of a thing than it already is.

"Wow, this place is actually surprisingly home-y..." After she's (hopefully) gotten them to hold their horses for a bit, she posts up at the door and makes a tentative and quiet peer in before actually going to step inside. Best to let Kale take the lead here, at least at first.
Kukuru The soldiers and commanders planning the operation to recover the warhead are still in the middle of planning when they see... Birds? Birds and a sorta-horse. One bird is significantly larger than the other and one has more legs and chest-jewels than the other, but it's easy enough to assume they're all here together in some manner. Kukuru knows better, of course, but she's not about to stop anyone from coming by some (probably) good grub.

Utsuho's transformation has the younger workers at the diner flinching in surprise, but the older ones don't look too fazed by her appearance. Kale walking right on in, similarly gets some stares inversely proportional to age, and both get menus slid towards them by someone that looks like he might be older than the 1950s-style decor.

"Breakfast, mhm! He-llo, Ut-su and Kale-y. The funny guy said this place had really good burritos, so..." Kukuru trails off as though that might as well be answering their questions, and then she finally taps on the more modern-looking soda machine with the touch screen that only responds to every third tap. "Since you're all here... Can we get tw-" She pauses as she hears Blemishine stepping in, smiling brightly and waving lightly before amending the order. "... Three more? He-llo there. Are you a friend of theirs, too?"

The oldest man at the counter scribbles something onto a pad, rips it off, then heads back to the kitchen. It smells delicious back there.

"Funny meeting you all out here today, though. Is something happening?" It seems she's still oblivious to everything going on outside.

The soldiers outside, though, aren't quite as oblivious as Kukuru is to what's going on inside. Seeing so many people heading in has them looking even more anxious than before, but they at least know better than to start shooting and risk ticking off everyone in the process. Ozhira's request gets some raised eyebrows from the soldiers that don't recognize her, but they're not about to raise those kinds of suspicions against someone that visibly outranks them.

"Ma'am! The bomb-"
"-Warhead. It's not a bomb yet."
"Warhead! It's in the possession of the green one in there. No demands yet, or.. er. Any kind of contact."
"She doesn't know we're here."
"No, sir! We have a team ready to breach the back door and attempt to neutralize. Your orders?"
Utsuho Reiuji "Four," Utsuho corrects, because Utsuho is Utsuho and absolutely will eat two breakfasts. She's a crow who is best known for complete violation of the five-second rule; it is no surprise, really.

Either that or Orin is around, but this Utsuho doesn't seem to bring her many places.

"Oh, I just felt like coming by since I heard you were here and carrying a thing around. I wanted to see the thing, but I guess you have it under control." Utsuho looks over at Kale and Blemishine - one she recognizes, one she doesn't, but she figures they're together, because she knows Blemishine is not with *her*.

(She doesn't know Ozhira is, and also outside. Nobody told her and, well, did you really think Utsuho was going to notice on her own?)

"What do you guys want? This isn't because I came by the party when I wasn't supposed to, was it?" Utsuho asks Kale. "Because I thought it was for everybody, really, *and* I brought some sake."
Kale Hearthward "Right, so - thank you, breakfast would be nice," says Kale.

He slides into the seat opposite.

"Can't help but notice you've got a - a thing there," he says. "Have you considered..."

Attempt number one: the direct approach.

"... putting it back where you found it?" he suggests. "It probably belonged there, don't you think?"
Ozhira     "Understood," Not-Ozhira's response is curt, "And the others? What intel do we have on the birds and the blonde?"

While the Devourer engages with the soldiers around them, something curious happens at their feet. Threads of red material separate from the figure's boot and flop against the ground, changing color to match it. Like this, those threads fan out to the soldiers around her. Crawling up the side of their boots. Jabbing their skin through pants and socks. Seeking nerves. Seeking control.
Blemishine     "Mhm! Right in one! I'm with Mr. Hearthward." She answers both Kukuru and Utsuho's (unspoken) question at the same time, finding a seat up front to slide into and join the others properly. "We haven't had the chance to talk before have we? Blemishine!"

Any other situation and she'd think about maybe something like a handshake, but with everything going on, maybe that sort of thing should wait for another time. She really does hope the soldiers out there will keep it cool.

"Actually," she says back towards Utsuho, "Since we were in the neighborhood, we wanted to get a look at 'the thing' too. But I can't complain about having some breakfast while we're here!"

She clasps her hands on the table, letting Kale speak towards Kukuru before she adds on. "And you probably shouldn't be, erm...sitting on it, should you?"
Kukuru "Four!" Kukuru calls out, and the old man in the back doesn't even bother scribbling a four in. He knows what she means already.

"Oh, yeah. Once I'm done eating here, I'll bring this back home and-" Kukuru starts to answer Utsuho before squinting her areas, then leaning sideways slowly to peer outside the diner. She finally sees the soldiers looking right in! And then she turns back around to sip her ginger ale with artificial orange flavoring added in.

"And then... I'unno. Someone else will know how to use it better." She affirms with a nod, then turns to Blemishine with a hand out as if expecting that very sort of handshake. "Oh, that's a pretty name... My name's Kukuru. Ku-ku-ru. Nice to meet you, Blemi~"

And then she looks over at Kale when he asks about her nice thing. "Isn't it? Ah... No, there's no reason to put it back. These things are super dangerous, you know? So I'm taking it back home and making sure they can't use it and hurt themselves or anyone else. It's fine to sit on, though, I think~" She replies with an unflinchingly pleasant hum, slapping an open palm against the surface of the big nuclear box she's sitting on and nearly giving the soldiers outside multiple heart attacks.

Well, the ones that Ozhira isn't exerting her influence over, anyway. There's quite a large number of them, but they're in a relatively concentrated space in that rest stop parking lot, so it's just a matter of time if she's left to her own devices. The ones answering her don't seem to notice, either, but they're still rather jumpy at the moment.

"The birdier... Um. Bird gave us his credentials. Paladins, Kale Hearthward. The transforming one might be a pet or a partner or something."
"The blonde gave us her info, too. Paladins, Blemishine. It looks like they're both negotiating, so we might not need to breach."
"Should I tell the others to pull back?"
"Not yet. Not until we've recovered the football."
"That's.. Uh. That's not what that means."
Ozhira     "Paladins," Ozhirofficer mutters, lifting a hand to bite the tip of her thumb, "I never was terribly fond of them. Telling us how to run our world. Barging in like police, shooting up the place, and leaving us with the bill." She glances aside while making some of her controlled troops speak up.

"I heard they destabilize governments that don't play by their rules."
"Yeah, and install more favorable leaders in the chaos, right?"
"And how many worlds like ours have gotten wrecked in proxy wars with the Concord, anyway?"
"Are the Paladins coming here next? We have oil, after all. It's only a matter of time."

Okay, some of it might be projection. Or Ozhira grabbing on to reasons why this particular military has been aggressive in the past. Who knows?

"I want the Paladins off this case and off this world. We'll take care of our own problems," Ozhirofficer insists. Raising a hand, she gestures to the breach team, "Ask nicely first. If they refuse, shoot them. But don't hit the bomb-- and don't provoke the Concord. The last thing we need is *their* attention."
Utsuho Reiuji "It's fine to sit on if it's not broken," Utsuho assures Blemishine. How she knows is a bit of a mystery but she does not seem at all bothered by Kukuru smacking it. She didn't hit it *that* hard. It's definitely okay.

Utsuho brightens. "I know how to use it!" she assures the others, including Kukuru. Though... "I guess I don't really *need* one, but it's neat to have. Maybe we can use it to dig a bigger cave faster or something... it'd leave a big hole behind..."

Utsuho's brows furrow. "I definitely want some breakfast before I do anything else though. I haven't eaten all morning! Oh right, I'm Utsuho. Utsuho Reiuji, the Scorching Divine Flame! Hi." She wiggles the fingers on the hand that has not been replaced by a control rod. It might be a hello wave.

It is increasingly good that Utsuho doesn't know Ozhiro is out there. She is not that good at playing along because she's not really all that good an actor.
Kale Hearthward Kale nods.

"... I... guess, if you're just going to, um, vault it and not use it..."

He doesn't share the concern of the nuke getting hit, mostly because he doesn't have experience with that sort of thing.

He rubs the underside of his beak, in the manner one would a chin. "I don't think they like you taking it even if you're not going to use it. Can we compromise on it being destroyed safely, maybe?"
Blemishine     Well, with the hand already put out, there's really just no helping it. Her hand comes out to clasp Kukuru's firmly and give it a few shakes. "Ehehe, you think so? I really like yours, too! Kukuru...Kukuru...it's really fun to say! Nice to meet you. You too, Utsuho!" She means it! Even if she'd prefer if it weren't in these particular circumstances.

Especially because Kukuru /is/ really nice. What an awkward spot to be in. "Huh, is it?" She gives the nuclear crate a glance as it's slapped. There's no heart attack, but genuine curiosity, especially when Utsho gives her expertise. "I've never gotten hands on with anything like this, so I had no idea. I guess they're actually stored away pretty securely! Though with how 'super dangerous' it is, you probably can't be too careful, even when you don't have to be."

Listening closely to Kukuru's plans for it though - and Utsuho bringing up cave excavation - she tilts her head up in thought. "Hmmmnnn...well, it's hard to argue with wanting to keep it away from people who'd use it for harm. But Mr. Hearthward has a good point too - it'd be best to come out of this in a way everyone can be happy, right? Just like you don't want it to be used like that, I'm sure they're just as concerned about someone going and taking it."
Kukuru INSIDE
"I don't think it's broken." Kukuru tries to reassure her mealtime companions as she picks her legs up to sit with her shoes on the corner of the box, teetering idly in her seat. With her legs and skirt not completely in the way, it becomes apparent that she actually has a little pillow between herself and the box.

"Using this to dig a cave, huh...? Oh, that'd be a good way to make sure it doesn't get used to hurt anyone." Kukuru sounds rather pleased by Utsuho's suggestion, clearly not understanding what nuclear fallout or radiation poisoning or anything like that is. She turns to Kale and Blemishine, beaming again at being able to shake Blemishine's hand with a gentle grip that barely even hints at how strong she actually is behind that carefree exterior. "Blemi's fun to say, too! Oh, if you wanna see it, we could open-"

"Not in here." The old man calls out from the back, drawing the first pout from Kukuru today.

"... Maybe later, then." She smiles apologetically, otherwise recovering quickly enough once it sounds like the plan is (more or less) sound. "Yeah, I want everyoent o be okay with this. It must be scary for people that know what this does to have it around, so blowing it up that way should be pretty safe, right? I don't want anyone getting hurt using it on people, either."

OUTSIDE
"Sir? Er. Ma'am? They're heroes, though. Usually."
"Seventy thirty, eighty twenty on a good day. Should we risk it?"
"If this does lead to another incident, we might have more to deal with than just one nuke."
"If it doesn't, we won't have to worry about anyone making off with that football."
"That really doesn't..."

As the two soldiers devolve into bickering over word choice, the other soldiers that haven't been turned by Ozhira yet are already starting to get thrown into disarray. There's misgivings all around about how to proceed, with some even starting to gather around to try and figure out what they're actually going to do about this situation with their leads not seeming to agree on a path of action.

INSIDE AGAIN
The breaching team, getting their (apparent) orders from an officer, do some quick countdowns to prepare themselves before heading right in through the front door with their guns readied at their sides, but lowered for the time being. It's not as though the doors are locked or anything. They approach Kale, Blemishine, and Utsuho, not quite realizing the hell raven isn't actually with them.

"Sir, ma'am, ma'am? We can take this from here, so you're clear to leave." The leader of the team says in a (relatively) commanding tone, turning his head slightly when Kukuru swivels her entire chair around to face him.

Kukuru: "But... They haven't finished eating yet."
Breach Lead: "They can take it with them and eat later."
Kukuru: "They haven't finished eating yet."
Breach Lead: "They can pack it up and eat later."

The tension is rising. Kukuru looks like she's actually preparing to get up.

Five breakfast burritos come out and get lined up on the counter. They have the really nice griddle marks on each side.
Utsuho Reiuji "I mean, if you *really* want I can just go blow it up." Utsuho doesn't seem very thrilled about it. "I know all about nuclear! Though, usually it's fusion..."

Utsuho may have a natural, instinctive grasp of nuclear energy, but she *doesn't* actually know that much about nuclear bombs - certainly not enough to identify different types on sight, and Yatagarasu isn't helping. That's the wrong kind of technology. She's sure she can set it off, though; how hard can that be?

"But if I brought it to Hell it'd be fine. If nothing else it could light the furnace up without me being there..." Now she's definitely thinking. "We could leave it in the new bit under the furnace until we needed it, I wanted to do some stuff there anyway. And nobody would have to worry about it then! Well, unless you're going to Hell. In which case it's probably your own fault, but I mostly just burn bodies anyway."

Deep in thought, Utsuho doesn't even realize they're talking to her at first. It takes until the breakfast burritos slide out for her to 'wake up' again, which she does almost instantaneously. "Yeah! I haven't eaten yet. I haven't even *started* eating yet!" She says that while reaching desperately for (one of) hers. "You can't throw us out, it's rude. Also we paid."

Pause.

"You paid, right," she adds to Kukuru, under her breath. "If you didn't I can."
Kale Hearthward Kale doesn't understand fallout either. "Yeah, use it to make a cave - that could work."

This is fine. The mission is to recover the weapon, sure, but fighting the Concord over a nuke is all risk while getting the Concord to dispose of a nuke is... not *quite* a win but it's one that doesn't require any risk or effort.

(And Kale's still more than a bit sore after trying to fight off Rita Ma w/r/t her stolen 'weapon'.)

"Alright, well, that's settled-"

Breach team.

"... We've got things handled," he says. "Go back outside, tell your commanders to wait for a report."

He rubs his face. "Kukuru, best we all just get this to go, I think. We'll catch up later."
Blemishine     There's a soft sigh of relief, and it's not because Kukuru was stopped from prying open a nuclear apparatus. In a perfect world, with all the time and proper tools, she'd love to. But sadly, there are half a dozen reasons she cannot, including why they're here in the first place. She's actually just glad Kukuru is so amenable. All of this isn't quite what they came to do, but it's a lot better than pretty much all of the alternatives.

"Ahaha. Maybe later. That's great then! ...Wait, you could use it to power a furnace!? I really need to hear all about that. But we should work out the plan after w--"

The door swings open, and she turns in her seat with a blink of surprise. "Wh...?" Oh no. That's the worst timing imaginable. Things were going fine, but they had to try to take things into their own hands now? A worried look is cast in Kale's direction...and in Kukuru's, when she gets into a back-and-forth with the team leader.

"...Everything is fine," she agrees. "We've pretty much worked everything out, even! We'll talk about all the details, but not..." She glances back over her shoulder, at the steaming burritos--but more importantly, the rest of the diner. "...in here." She glances to Kukuru after, putting on a small smile.

"He's right. You can leave all the boring explanations to us!"
Ozhira     "We are soldiers and we have a responsibility 'heroes' aren't beholden to." She glances down, producing a phone. Tapping at it for a moment, she lifts it to her ear and starts talking to some important-sounding official or another. Her free hand raises while she steps away, leaving the bickering troops to their own devices. It isn't until she's out of sight that she disconnects herself from the various soldiers, having not needed them for a whole lot by her summation.

Without warning, once unobserved, the 'officer' dissolves into a pool of red sludge and disappears into a storm drain.

Minutes later, a black-haired, red-eyed girl with sharp triangular teeth emerges from the diner restroom. The usual human disguise worn by the Devourer. Behaving as if the girl had just washed her hands, she pauses when she notices the soldiers, then raises her hands silently with surprise on her face.
Kukuru OUTSIDE
With the troops kept at bay through the power of arguing over semantics and the nature of heroism, it's child's play for Ozhirofficer to get them (relatively) on the same page about just getting the Paladins out of the place. They're still worried about the nuclear warhead, of course, but handling their own affairs or, at the very least, just getting everyone out of there is the main thing they're worried about at this rate rather than fretting over recovery.

There's lots of soldiers, but none of them are getting paid enough to actually escalate any of this into a drawn out and bloody battle. Even noticing one of the officers just disappearing or that brief movement near a drain is easily explained away as a trick of the light.

INSIDE
"I paid, mhm." Kukuru replies to Utsuho with a firm nod, pauses, then reaches into her pocket to get a few more bills. She did pay for the first burrito, after all, but she's finally been reminded to pay for the rest! She still looks agitated at the leader of the breaching team, though, as that stalemate holds firm for a while longer. "I didn't even know bombs worked like that, though.... Wow. You're so smart about these kinds of things, Utsu~ Maybe you and Blemi could work together on that, too!"

She sounds pretty pleased about the possibility of getting them to collaborate on that matter, although her agitation comes back at a rather conspicuous cough from the breach leader. Kale and Blemishine end up being the voices of reason here, though, and Kukuru finally relents while turning to the old man at the counter. "Five bags, please? SOMEBODY-" She's really bad at hiding her murder aura towards the breach team. "-is being really rude."

The old man shrugs, then heads on back with the plates to get the food bagged up and ready for takeout. Kukuru is still staring daggers at the breach lead, who's since opted to stand by the door while waiting for everyone to start clearing out. The entire team flinches slightly as Kukuru hoists the box onto her shoulder with one hand and keeps her bagged burrito held in the other, but at least things look like they're not going to end in horrible murder at this rate.

The black-haired red-eyed girl's appearance from the restroom is barely even noticed in the chaos by the time she arrives. The old man at the counter is the only one that seems to notice her, giving her the only sympathetic look anyone's going to get out of him during this entire situation.

Not enough sympathy to get a free breakfast burrito, though.
Utsuho Reiuji "You'd have to take the middle bit out," Utsuho says to Blemishine, tapping her stone-coated foot on the floor. "The core, I mean! And put it in something else. And honestly it should probably be a different shape, but it's at least the same metal."

This is somewhat hard to understand because Utsuho is trying to say all of this through her breakfast burrito, which she appears to be trying to put away fast enough that they can't throw her out before she's done with it.

"But I guess we can work on it! If you can get down there anyway, it's not a place where most people go..." But she's probably not a youkai, so it seems like she's *allowed*, Utsuho thinks, looking at Blemishine again. She's not from Gensokyo anyway.

But it looks like they're being hustled out. "Okay, okay, I'm going!" Utsuho swallows her current mouthful and gathers up a burrito and a half, making sure it's all bagged up properly. "But I'm definitely taking it with me. And if you throw me out of *another* restaurant I'm not going to be happy about it."

She doesn't recognize the black-haired girl, either. If she figures it out later, she'll offer her breakfast burrito.

The half, though. The whole one *is* Utsuho's, after all.
Blemishine     Make that two sighs of relief marked off for today. The military could be pushing this a lot harder than they actually are, so she's thankful for that much at least. It must have been too much to hope that they'd stay calm and composed while they were busy in here...though didn't they change their minds a little too quickly? What's up with that?

A question to be pondered over another time, as for right now, it looks like they're bagging them in the good way. "Ahahaha. Now, now..." There's an apologetic smile thrown Kukuru's way at her attitude towards the breach team captain, but rudeness isn't all that bad.

An equally apologetic 'sorry for all the trouble' is given to the mystery black-haired girl, who she reasonably presumes to be a diner-going bystander, as she takes her burrito bag and also prepares to go. She does, at least, give Utsuho a few hearty nods before they all shuffle out though.

"Ooh! Right, that makes sense. That means you have some sort of way to move the core safely? Actually, silly question when you said you knew all about nuclear!" She offers a wink, and then something finally hits.

"...Wait, me? In Hell? Heh!?" This, too, is another thing to mull over a burrito, once everything is sorted out.
Ozhira     The sympathetic look Ozhira receives from the diner owner is returned by an apologetic-intended, but overall-pretty-terrible smile that shows far too many sharp teeth. One upraised hand shifts to point at Kukuru in an 'I'm with them' sort of fashion both for his benefit as well as for the armed soldiers. With that established and nothing dangerous pointed her way, she lowers her hands and trots over while Kukuru lifts the bomb.

"We are ready to leave," the girl states simply, "Can we. Carry anything for you?"
Kukuru "If these military people follow us just to do that, I'll be really mad, too." Kukuru reassures Utsuho with a hearty smile, albeit one that radiates a distinct sense of menace behind it when she turns her gaze to the breaching team again. The leader's wearing a face-obscuring helmet, but there's a stiffness to his stance until everyone's finally cleared out.

"But this wasn't all bad. We got some nice food-" She raises her bag. "-met some new people..." She beams at Blemishine. "... So I think we did really good today! Maybe I'll see you two in hell sometime~"

To be fair, she really doesn't think of it as a menacing statement.

Ozhira's offer of assistance, meanwhile, gets Kukuru to relax again as she hands over the bag with her burrito in it and the fountain drink. "Oh, thanks~ We can split this later, okay?  I hope it'll still be crispy by then..."

It will not by crispy by then, but the meat's still really good. That funny TV guy really knows his stuff.
