Twin Peaks, WA
Double R Diner, 10:13AM

Today is the day.

[BGM] -https://youtu.be/bAC2dpZj8B4

Under the protection of Lilian Rook's junior immunes, General Briggs came to the Double R, for their breakfast special--eggs, bacon, two slices of toast and a slice of huckleberry pie, with complimentary coffee. He offered to pay for theirs, too, if either of them were hungry.

The diner was actually fairly busy this morning--enough so that both Norma, Shelly, and the mysterious new hire Kadoya Tsukasa were all working there today, the lattermost occasionally visible sullenly washing dishes in the back of house.

Big Ed Hurley had taken up a spot at the counter, no doubt working up the courage to tell Norma how he felt. Aside from a few other regulars, the most obvious new face is one Sougo Tokiwa--the young man with the auburn colored hair and pastel blue button-up, who was enjoying breakfast with the suspicious prophet Woz.

All of this is in the past tense because Woz was unfortunately correct in his prediction. The cozy atmosphere of the diner was shattered by fire from a directed energy weapon.

Sougo took it upon himself to shepherd the townies out of the diner, leaving Satsuki and Arina to protect the general and make the call for assistance. Once again, as Woz had predicted, the two of them are able to keep Briggs safe, buying time for arrival.

You arrive on the scene to find a strange Heaviness has overtaken the parking lot in front of the diner. The closer you get to the fight, the slower everyone seems to be, to the point that entering the parking lot itself is reminiscent of one of those running dreams, where time slows to a crawl and your objective seems impossibly far despite what your eyes tell you.

Another Drive is here, visible as a red blur--but Woz seems perfectly able to move despite the distortion, as evidenced by his unbearably smug departure from the diner, dabbing daintily at the corners of his mouth with a napkin. His grey scarf flies out with a flick of his wrist, ensnaring Another Drive by the ankle. The imposter rider trips, his armor spewing sparks as it grinds across asphalt, before he collides forcefully with a light pole, denting it on impact. In that instant, the feeling of Heaviness subsides, as if the jarring impact had shut off whatever power the creature was using.

"You shouldn't be able to move. I'll fix that soon enough."

"By all means, I invite you to try." Woz smiles as Another Drive gets to his feet, slotting a futuristic pocketwatch into his transformation belt, and closing a gate upon it. "Henshin.~"

The Demon King himself has already armored up, though he appears to have been Another Drive's primary focus, curiously enough, having taken a few blows already by this point. Upon your arrival, he calls out: "Everyone! Bobby's on his way to get General Briggs to safety!"

"I'd be worried more about your own, 'Ohma Zi-O.'"
Remee Halcyon Remee has spent the intervening time:

1. Reviewing the battle videos provided, to learn as much as she can of how Orphenochs fight, and specifically how to take one down non-lethally if she can.

2. Getting her tail kicked by Hiromi, then having a small get together at an onsen which was only slightly impacted by a 'weird vibe'. Both of which are long stories, but -

- the main takeaway being that Remee's on shakier legs right now. She's got her backup rifle (Hiromi atomized the first one) and she's got her battle plan, but...

... Well, she's hoping she's not going to be dealing with too much today. The amended 'plan' involves a lot of staying behind cover and letting others deal with the brunt of things.

One might say that bravery is easy when you literally can't die, but - no, actually, still kinda hard.

She goes to find a sniper perch on a building elsewhere - one with a decent line of sight, but ideally one with a decent amount of distance between her and Another Drive.
Hellwarming Trio Feelings of sluggishness aren't uncommon to two of the three youkai coming to Twin Peaks today. Gorging on food against their better judgment is simply a thing they've done from time to time, but this one's different. They know for a fact they haven't eaten that much today, and they sure as hell know that their pink-haired master would never allow herself to reach such a state while they're together as a group.

That's why, when they feel that slowness hitting them the closer they get to the diner, they're already starting to set up their arrays of fiery attacks in patterns they haven't quite practiced in the current conditions. When the feeling fades, Utsuho and Rin even manage to hurl their fireballs and magical orbs directly into the sky, the asphalt, and some even into the walls of the diner by accident.

"Nobody saw that, right?"
"I think everyone saw that."
"We'll worry about who saw what later."

After scolding her companions, Satori takes a moment to admire Woz's transformation before taking to the air and flitting about like an annoying bad-CG opponent minus the bad-CG. Utsuho and Rin join her as they execute what is clearly a practiced maneuver, with each of the three fliers circling around Another Drive. They rain down a steady stream of fiery wisps, explosive fireballs, and blindingly colorful magic bullets from that constantly changing angle.

"You can tell us who you are, Another Drive. I already know who you are and what you fear." Satori boasts while trying to listen to their surface thoughts for answers to those very things she claims to know. "There's no reason to hide it any longer!"

Inwardly, she's really hoping their mind isn't a mass of jumbled garbage or outright unreadable. That'd just make her look foolish.
Remee Halcyon And then Remee shoots at Another Drive from her sniper perch.
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro and Philip got the call, Shotaro was already close by, and Philip didn't need to be anywhere near here. With the amount of backup, using Fang would be dangerous. On his bike, the Kamen Rider detective attempts to close the distance between himself and Another Drive. However, before he could transform, the wave of SLOW DOWN prevents him from moving.

It was like walking through molasses, though not as sticky. But, thankfully, Woz solves that issue.

"Philip did you get that?" To which he gets an answer. "Right. Lets do this partner."

While on the bike, he pulls out a USB stick and presses the button on it.

JOKER, it calls out. Somewhere else, Philip pushes the button on a different USB stick. CYCLONE, this one calls out, and he inserts the USB stick into a belt that had been summoned on his waist. Shotaro, too, has the same belt. He first presses down on the green USB stick that had appeared in his belt and pushes down the purple USB stick.

CYCLONE JOKER

This sounds out as a whirlwind engulfs the bike, and soon enough a Kamen Rider appears where Shotaro was a moment ago. Half of him is green and the other half a dark purple. A scarf flows in the wind behind him as he closes the distance between himself and Another Drive.

Rudely he aims to run Another Drive first, aiming to pass him before spinning the bike into a skidding stop. However, what happens is the vines cause the bike to just narrowly miss, causing Toku sparks along the Kamen Rider as he comes to a stop. Stepping off the bike, he starts walking slowly toward the other Rider. Without prompting, Kamen Rider Double points his hand toward the Drive and speaks. "Kamen Rider Drive, here to stop your plan. Now..."

There is a pause, "Now count up your sins," he says, before running right at Another Drive, aiming to start things off with a flick of his right hand and immediately aiming to start punching the other Kamen Rider. Shotaro's very impressive in a regular brawl, thanks to his years of being a delinquent.
Corona Arclite The HEAVINESS is impossible to miss. Especially when you come roaring in on your customized motorcycle in response to the SOS you were waiting for while hoping it wouldn't come, but by the time you're entering the parking lot and dismoutning the distorted perception was like you were barely moving.

Then Another Drive skids across the lot and slams into a light post. Reality seems to snap back to normal. And Corona's already got one of her handcannons drawn, clicking back the arming hammer with her thumb while pointing it at Another Drive. The other hand having snagged her goggles and pulled them into place over her eyes as a precaution. The tails of her duster flutter as she braces, digging her heels and spurs into the pavement to withstand the shifting wave, keeping her aim focus on the source of the problem despite the rippling effects.

"Window's closed, buster. No more shenanigans fer ya."

Then the trigger is pulled and the weapon retorts with a loud *BWAM* as it fires, shot ringing through the air towards Another Drive without relent or remorse. Because bullets don't feel such things. Especially not at this oversized calibres.
Petra Soroka     Petra is tired. She's beaten down emotionally, injured, generally out of her depth in this mystery anyways. But what kind of soldier would she be if that made her back off?

She does make for a bit of a sorry sight, gun in one and crutch in the other. But this is nothing, compared to the Archwolf. Petra arrives at the parking lot slightly later, entering the heaviness aura just before Another Drive slams into the light pole. Petra's limbs unexpectedly go through two changes in velocity mid-step, and adjusting to the first causes her to miss the other, and she goes down. Hands and knees skidded on the asphalt, it's a minor injury all things considered, but falling exacerbates all the other aches Petra's feeling right now. She grimaces, and pushes herself back up, settling lightly on the ground, like she's on the moon. Maybe it's best *not* to be so close to the action, right now. She raises up her handgun, takes careful aim at Another Drive, then fires, launching herself backwards and upwards, escaping the Danger Zone.
Xion This one was close, for Xion. Personal, even if she had enough distance from the moments to not be obsessing over them. The second-most ready state: awaiting the call.

The day before had proceeded in a sleepy pace. She had retrieved her coat from the Kikuchi Cleaners, set up in the hotel lobby, found a cup of coffee and unlimited breakfast bacon, and waited with her phone propped up on a stand. It was just down to 'when'. And Woz hadn't told her.

A lingering pause, then, before the moment, for an intake of breath. One caught in her throat, and waiting for the gasp of realized air.

Then her phone buzzed.

ON THE SCENE, Xion leaps across the parking lot and sprints into the heaviness, fighting against the effect like a fish swimming upstream. On approach, she is dressed in distressed jeans and red sneakers, her flannel shirt (over white tee) is buttoned mostly up - and over it is her cleaned black coat. At her waist is a bulky belt, with a large empty slot that resembles a sideways U, chunky and silver. Around her wrist is a keychain medallion, the chain wrapped tight around her wrist, bearing Mach's face upon it, glowing with white light.

With the keychain, she has no problem leaning into the field of gravity and dispersing it around her. "I'm not usually one to trust the heralds of demon kings -- but you've hurt people. You hurt a town that we put care into. You've torn a dagger down the banner of lives we raised! I'm not here to forgive you, and I'm not here to go easy on you!"

"I'm here to save this town from you, Drive!" Xion shouts, drawing out a yellow-lined swing-flip phone. Normally - for people that have fought with Xion - there is a magenta chip set into the memory, upon the front. It is nonpresent, as she raises it to present it in her hand. Her other hand slots in a yellow crystal to the phone-face slot, a whirr of dial-up sounding communication occurring as the phone sends and receives data from the crystal chip. Then, it finishes.

"The one who defends the town of Twin Peaks - Kaixa - will stop you!" Xion announces, swinging open the completed and updated phone with her thumb to enter in the code 913-SEND into the buttons, a satisfying 'blink-blunk-blonk-bedede!' of entry, and then a mechanically synthed voice announces: STANDING BY

Slotting the phone into the belt at her waist, the cradle clicks and hinges shut. "Takuma... I'll make sure the town you loved is saved." Xion whispers, then raises her voice. "Henshin!". The armor forms with the announcement COMPLETE - lines of gold wrapping down her legs, arms, and over her shoulder, to fill with black. The black and yellow-gold with a heavy chestplate finishes snapping into place over Xion's chest, and an X-cut of yellow over the gem faceplate.

Tugging the neck looser with her Mach-keychain bearing wrist, the transformed Kaixa-Xion charges Another Drive with Shotaro (as Double) to commence with a high-speed beatdown of punches and kicks. She is *really* feeling it - or rides the memory of someone with a score to settle. It is not clear while she talks purely with force.
Tamamo     Tamamo had made a certain prediction regarding meeting a certain employee of a certain diner. This is the diner, and the dishwasher is present, but she's missing another face or two. Reading the future is a difficult process, even when it's only a few days out. Or maybe she can blame Another Drive for this. Certainly, the Heaviness is a strange and concerning effect, something she wants to categorize as a curse -- but since Woz handled it, this time, she'll set that aside, without figuring out how she might break it, herself.

She's hurried, knowing that people are in danger, but is able to slow when she sees that the blurring assassin is, at least momentarily, stopped by Woz. "'Ohma Zi-O,' is this the form of address you prefer, in these cases?" There are quite a few people involved who have at least two names. She should probably be used to that, by now.

"Miss Arina and Satsuki-san are within, yes? I shall trust in them and young Bobby," though he's not quite so young in this timeline, she still feels as if he has that presence, having known him from long ago, "for the general's immediate safety. Let us first concern ourselves with..."

She looks at Another Drive, and trails off. Really, she doesn't know what to make of him. She hasn't gotten as far as figuring out why he's doing what he's doing it, but it's not an easy situation in which to ask. Nearly at a loss, Xion's words bring motion back to her hands.

That's right. The 'why' can wait. They can't do anything before saving the town, as well as the general. Tamamo pulls out a full set of her talismans, fanning the papers like cards from a deck, and letting them fly. An array of ink-scrawled paper orbits around her, evenly spaced, closing in its gaps even after she directs, with a flick of her wrist, this and that and another to reach Xion. Blessings of strength are among what Tamamo can give, though it's more strength of will, the motivation to move one's arms, than it is strength of arms, themselves.

Also, fiery explosions. You can't go wrong with attaching fiery explosions to a punch-kick combo. Probably.

After that, Tamamo heads in. Even if she hasn't seen everyone who's supposed to be here, she should still find Kadoya.
Chase      GUN!

A flurry of energy bullets are fired at the Another Rider's center of mass from offscreen. Though, it doesn't take long to discover the source of the gunfire, as the purple and black roidmude comes strutting on in at an alarming speed, even through the massive wave of Heaviness that would stop a lesser being in their tracks.

     "Drive."

Mashin Chaser calls out to Another Drive, each of his steps cracking the ground beneath him as he closes in on the fake Drive, extending an empty hand out as it lunges forward to grab them by the neck.

Effortlessly, he lifts them a few inches off the ground, taking a few more steps forward before raising them up even higher.

"Or are you Leo Johnson? Answer me."

Despite asking for an answer, Chase follows up by immediately slamming Another Drive into the floor beneath him, putting every bit of strength his frame can muster and attempting to pin them there until they speak.
Timespace Riders > Remee: Post up on a perch

In most towns with populations as small as Twin Peaks, the best one could hope for in a perch would be two storeys at the most. Luckily for her, this town was once much larger, and a lot of the infrastructure from the days when it was a lumber giant of the pacific northwest still remains. Downtown Twin Peaks, where the Double R is located, has the benefit of the Rowan Tree, formerly Horne's Department Store, a substantially sized building housing two businesses and tall enough to really do some work. Her bullet slows down exponentially as it approaches the fight, until Woz's trick disrupts the gravity distortion field. Guns are a respected space where kaijin are concerned--the bullet strikes true and sends him off-balance, stumbling into a haft strike from Woz's spear. Despite this, he rolls with the impact of the second and returns with a jumping back kick, before blindly firing his laser pistol on some sort of spread function. Aiming vaguely in the direction of Remee without looking, he seems to intend more to pin her down than truly hit her, but there are an awful lot of lasers covering a wide spread.

>Satori: You can tell us who you are, Another Drive.

The creature with stolen power seems dead-focused on Zi-O, making high-speed charges, stopping on a dime to batter the rider with his car-door buckler, pummel him with a flurry of rabbit punches, and in general, check the Demon King's silver straight sword with vision-blurring swats of his metal hands. The trio's fireballs, wisps and polychromatic bullets rain down on him, but he is an exceptionally quick target even without his density field. Picking Zi-O up by the throat, he uses the rider as a human shield, racing through the parking lot before throwing him bodily at Rin and Utsuho.

"Come on in," he utters mockingly to Satori. "I've got nothing to hide." It's not unreadable. Nor is it jumbled. This man is cruel, greedy, jealous and dangerously ambitious. His desires are dark, cruel, and he has no qualms acting upon them. He has had twenty-five years to indulge them and pursue his ambitions nearly uninterrupted. 'Mr. C' has been hired to kill Zi-O, waiting for a long time to do it, and if he can't get Briggs, the Demon King will do.

>Shotaro and Xion: Brawl

W's fist crashes into the back of Another Drive's head, in the middle of the kaijin's attempt to crush the downed Zi-O with an axe kick. Forced into close quarters with the two-in-one rider and the Hero of Everyone's Hearts, he is no less irritatingly wiggly. Rapid spins on the spot, turning with the rider's blows when he isn't outright ducking them, returning fire with a strange mix of explosive snap kicks, roundhouses, arm checks and traditional American boxing jabs, crosses and hooks. "You don't need to protect this backwater from little old me. Help me kill the brat. Then get me what I want from the general and I'm gone. Easy, right?"

>Corona and Petra: Shoot

Knocked out of his duel with W and Xion by the impact of Xion's Tamamo-ensorceled explosive strikes, Another Drive's metal boots dig furrows into the asphalt. A large-caliber round prevents him from closing the distance to re-engage, and the fistfight turns into a combination brawl and shootout. Another Drive breaks into a sprint, car-shield raised to protect his vitals from further shots, laser pistol braced against it as he weaves through parked cars at blistering speed, the parking lot echoing with the sound of his twisted armor's revving engine. Feathering the trigger, he returns fire, breaking into a combat roll as he pivots his aim upwards to Petra while she ascends.
Timespace Riders >Chase: Are you Leo Johnson?

Laser blasts from Chase's Break Gunner force him into motion again, piercing through the cars Another Drive uses for cover. Bellowing in exultation at his own strength, he charges the Roidmude and zips right into the grapple. His fist blurs as it slams into Chase's ribs, traveling up his body as he's lifted. "EHHH! Wrong," he manages to utter after his impact with the ground, laughing in an unhinged fashion before his legs wrap around the rider and twist, going to ground combat. Now on the offensive, the kaijin rains superspeed blows down, fighting decidedly very much unlike Tomari. "Earle's little plaything doesn't have the balls for this work anymore. You want to know who I am? I'm a reflection. A negative image. I'm all the things hiding just behind that stupid smile. I've waited so long--and it's only a little longer before I'm the real thing, and the real thing's the fake." With a furious roar, he makes a telegraphed, two-fisted overhead smash.

>Tamamo: Find Tsukasa

The standoffish, mysterious new arrival in town is just on his way out of the back of house when Tamamo runs into him. Dressed in the green-and-white uniform of the Double R, his distinguishing feature, across from his mop of brown hair, is the pink twin-lens reflex camera around his neck.

"An ill wind is blowing," he says to the woman he's literally just met. "Can you feel it?" Without warning, he snaps a picture of her. Then, he turns, discarding his apron, and puts his hands into his pockets, watching the fight outside through the window.

"He really has it in for that kid, doesn't he." Another Drive has revved his way back over to Zi-O, who is clearly fighting on the back foot every time the kaijin's attention inevitably shifts back to him.
Remee Halcyon Pistol fire comes at her. This is fine. Remee picked out spots of cover as she was getting set up. All she needs to do is-

the streets shatter beneath her, all the glass windows erupt in shards, in the single stomp that precedes a launching uppercut-

Remee flinches instead of moving - and the pistol fire lances through her.

"I'm not... there, at that fight against Hiromi," she says to herself as she goes flat, drawing in a deep breath. "I'm here. In this moment. At this time."

Self-examination. The incoming fire didn't hit anything that'd kill her outright, or impede her from aiming properly. Good. Good enough.

Deep breath. Sit up. Set up. Aim. Try again.
Corona Arclite "Ah see it's gonna be one of those fights." Corona gives the sidearm a flick in her hand so it's oriented the right direction down for her to holster. She seems unphased that this is a target hard to score a direct hit on. "But this rodeo's only startin'."

She can be quick on her feet too, doing a backwards flip to put her hands on the seat of her motorcycle and vault over it. Return fire from Another Drive pierces the air in her wake, several rattling against the bike but it's a sturdy beast in it's own right... Except for one shot that manages to pierce deep enough to hit an important part. It doesn't matter what the part is, being important is enough to make it explode, and the blast out the other side sends Corona tumbling backwards. Hopefully that was something she can fix so she can get home again!

With a grunt the space gunslinger vixen arrests her momentum rolling up into a crouch. And switching her loadout. So when she stands, she's twirling a pair of Zeerust style pistols in her gloved hands. "Fort'antly Ah came prepared fer the likes of sidewinders like ya." She grabs her guns by the grips as she snaps her arms out and opens fire. Repeatedly the guns crackle as they alternately fire in a barrage of lasers... Most of which don't even seem to be in Another Ride's direction.

Until the lasers start changing direction at sharp, nearly impossible angles to try and home in on Another Ride chasing after him from multiple different vectors that typically make the barrage harder to anticipate and avoid!
Hellwarming Trio There's something to work with, but not enough to satisfy Satori. Knowing Another Drive is Mr. C is better than nothing, at least, although actually finding out what that even means will have to wait until after subduing the still mysterious Rider.

Utsuho and Rin, still flying as they are, actually manage to catch the flying Zi-O! The impact isn't pleasant considering the lingering bruises and aches from a recent battle, but they're able to lessen the impact between the both of them and floating backwards to go with his movement instead of just trying to tough it out.

"Easy, bro! We got ya."
"Heavy, though... But this should work, too."

Without actually communicating with Zi-O clearly, Utsuho gives Rin a look who returns it with a mischievous nod. Instead of setting him back down, they start floating higher, drawing a confused look from Satori while she temporarily pauses in pelting Another Drive with more of those magical bullets. "What are they...?"

Her question is left hanging as the answer comes sooner rather than later as Utsuho and Rin promptly dive towards Another Drive, their movements in sync with each other as they act as a springboard for Zi-O to launch his own counteroffensive alongside theirs: a diving strike from Utsuho's control rod wreathed in flames, and a falling drop kick from Rin with flaming wisps swirling around her legs.

They're both hollering madly as they do that, of course. It's not a proper Rider Kick(?) without it.
Shotaro Hidari Double and Another Drive go at it, giving each other as good as they were getting in return. Xion's arrival, and transformation into a Rider herself, get Double's attention. However, with how things are going, he can only spare a nod, without opening himself to more pain that he isn't ready to take right now.

Of course, the exchange leaves Double thrown back from the attack, Toku sparks showering the ground as he falls back and rolls across the ground. Quickly, Shotaro pushes his body back to his feet. Philip's side of Double (the Green side right now) speaks up. "We're going to have to focus on powerful, but accurate strikes if we're going to get through his defenses..."

"Right," he says, Double turning his head towards Xionxia. He trusts she can take advantage of any opening he makes, and he runs right towards the back of Drive, as he once more goes for Zi-O. Shotaro grabs the Joker Gaia Memory (the USB stick from earlier) and puts it into a holder for it on his waist.

JOKER MAXIMUM DRIVE!

Leaping into the air, Double flips, and before the kick comes down the two split in half. The Joker half goes first but is quickly followed by the Cyclone part, hitting in powerful sequenced attacks, before Double is once more seen on the ground, standing from a crouch. "I'm not in the mood for letting cities cry. I wouldn't let anything happen to Futo, and neither am I letting you continue your serial murders here either."

He points a finger right towards Another Drive. "The interesting thing, is that I figured out the reason for the first murder, and even put together why you are trying to kill the General...but why Monroe?"
Petra Soroka     Floating through the air isn't, actually, a very good defense. Clay pigeons are practically *meant* to be easy targets. Another Drive raises his pistol, and all Petra can do in the air is throw her arms out as if to shield herself before the impact sends her spiraling. She crashes into a rooftop, wind knocked out of her. Chest heaving, breath wheezing out of her, Petra collapses for just a moment.

Absolutely not. She *will* have an impact on this fight. He's just a guy! He's not a monster, he's beatable! Petra pushes herself back up, then points the gun between her feet--wait, not at the building, there could be people in there--fires the gun downwards, and rockets upwards from the recoil, positioning herself in the air *over* Another Drive. Firing downwards repeatedly, she yo-yos herself with recoil to stay, approximately, a couple dozen feet above his head. If he looks or fires upwards to attack her, he's leaving himself open to everyone else!

    It's incredibly reckless.
Tamamo     Tamamo sees the shots coming.

No, that's not quite it. She feels them coming, like a tug of a string. She hears the vibration, when it's plucked. A gunfight makes for unpleasant music, but she can still dance to the tune, leaning this way at one moment, and taking a step there at another. There's some sort of price to what she's doing, but she has good fortune to spare. So much so, in fact, that feels out the threads to everyone else here. Even to those to whome she's usually less close, or knows less well. Chase, Petra, Remee, Shotaro, Rin, Utsuho, Satori, Corona, Woz, and Zi-O -- there are plenty of threads to feel, and she feeds a little of her own luck out to each of them. That costs her, but it's something she can afford to do, and the battle justifies it.

"An ill wind, is it? Can you sense the coming of a storm? I mislike this dark reflection," she says to the man, as he takes off his apron. She raises one eyebrow when he takes a picture, but only says, "May I see?" rather than objecting.

"I know not what unrepressed, freed urges that man believes himself to be, nor whose reflection." It doesn't strike her as at all similar to Tomari, but seeing through that level of distortion is difficult. Hadn't someone explained to her that someone's Rider armor could be borrowed or stolen? 'Armor, generally' is a bit outside her expertise. That's a warrior's field, and she's an (allegedly) unarmed lady of ancient courts.

That doesn't stop her from weaving a curse from her present position, one strong enough that it can't remain invisible, but manifests as clouds of swirling, clutching fog, trying to drag Another Drive down, sap away his energy and -- most importantly -- leave him vulnerable and pinned the very moment Joker and Cyclone aim their kicks, siphoning away the one Rider's luck to feed the other two.

"I had meant to meet with you, though I admit myself rather distracted, at the moment. Ah, please pardon me. I am Tamamo-no-mae. You are Kadoya-san, yes? I most wished that you should satiate my curiosity, and tell me aught you know of the one called Narutaki. I suppose that that may wait, should this be inconvenient for you, as well."
Chase      "Are you a Roidmude of Leo? Where is he?"

The way Another Drive is phrasing things. It doesn't exactly sound like a Roidmude. If he was, he'd just have killed him already. Unless, of course, he is a particularly deranged one that wants the person he copied to suffer first. He can't rule that out yet, so thus, he asks.

When Another Drive's fists slam into Mashin Chaser, there's barely any give from him, though his armor does jostle and spark as it absorbs the blow. He instead reaches down to pull out a phone, flipping it open and quickly dialing the numbers 1-0-6.

     Burst Mode

The phone makes an announcement in a suave voice as Chase flicks the phone, causing it to bend into a shape that one could generously call a gun as he points the 'muzzle' against Another Drive's chest as he unleashes as it lets loose a flurry of point blank laser shots.
Xion Receiving power from Tamamo, the gold-and-black armored Xion races in. Clear flares of high-budget power surges burst around her strikes, as the annoying wriggly-slippery man ducks, weaves, swerves, and counters. She matches the false rider blow for blow, directly clashing while slugging with both fists.

*bang!* *wham!* Closed fists find points of contact in the crossed-counters, the armored nobody going blow for blow with the woobly Another Rider.

Lifting her knee to block a swung kick, Xion snaps her foot out, guided with impossible precision. The 'Mission Memory' crystal she had slotted into the phone at the start had born the battle data and combat 'memory' of the local hero Xion had been crying about.

As for Another Drive, Xion had all the battle knowledge she needed. Having the backing of the sun's terrifying empowerment to the already solar-aspected armor thanks to the Photon Blood absorbing the sun's great rays empowered the golden Photon Streams with a tremendous injection of budget. She just can't continue her beatdown - becuase Corona and Petra force Another Drive back with their gunfire, turning the battle into a running gunfight in a field of Heaviness! Thankfully, Xion has things to shoot.

Her feelings. "Help you? Kill that brat? Absolutely--" She brings an armored arm up to block a shot of opportunity, forearm sparking. "--(u,not!)] You're the type I can't stand. Easy? Easy?! You don't understand the situation you're in."
Circling around the parking lot, Xion ducks behind a parked car--

--and re-appears mid-lunge out of a vortexing flat-plane portal, wielding a glowing-gold blade in a reversed grip. An X-handle held like a gun with a saber-blade out the bottom, with a pullable charge-plunger on one end of the X-body already pulled, and the barrel-nozzle already pointed at the false Drive.

"He said count up your sins!"
"Start counting!"

Xion clicks the trigger, unleashing a vector-wedge of golden energy that covers anything hit with a haze of X-swatches superimposed over it that slow up motion! Her following lunge carves a long slicing cut across the parking lot in gold.
Timespace Riders >Chase: Burst Mode

Another Drive makes a guttural, pained noise as the lasers force him off of Chase, firing back to keep him at range. "I've got nothing to do with that drooling idiot. The word of the day is 'doppelganger.' Understand?"

>Remee: Try again
>Corona: Get creative

Knowing that there's a sniper doesn't mean there's much that someone can do about it. 'I Would Simply' doesn't really apply, when there are lots of other combatants present with an interest in preventing exactly that. Pinned down, and without an easy opening to advance on Remee's position, Another Drive again resorts to brute force, zooming over to a van and dipping into a running slide to disappear beneath it.

Corona's lasers find their mark, illuminating the underside of the van just as Another Drive comes up on the other side--with a wrenching sound of metal forcibly torn from its housing. In his hands is most of the underside of the vehicle, including the slowly leaking gas tank. With a shout, he flings it at the rooftop of the Rowan Tree, taking another volley of Corona's lasers to aim a precise shot at the gas tank just as it crosses over the roof of the building. Once again, inaccurate, brutish, suppressive. Sparks fly from his armor as Petra then abuses the old adage of 'no one ever looks up'--and it's true, until about the third shot or so. The engine block of the van beside him flies upwards to meet her, as does his full-bellied, unhinged laughter.

>W: Why did you kill Ray Monroe?

"That's some detective work. Sure. I'll throw you a bone!" The impact of metal on metal, an ear-wrenching noise like a car crash, as the split-finisher one-two slams against him. Pushed across the street, blaring horns go off as the rider and the kaijin cross through oncoming traffic, before Another Drive grapples W at the legs and hurls him at a bus stop. Business. Plain and simple. I knew what he was doing. If someone works with the feds, you make an example. No second chances. No half-measures."

>Hellions: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

"Eh?!" A startled noise from Zi-O, when he realizes he's being carried--but he's been learning, and is a little further along than he was before he came to Twin Peaks. "Oh, I see! Then, in that case..."

                                  ARMOR TIME!

A disembodied suit of armor emerges from a pink portal that appears before him as the hellions carry him closer to Another Drive. White with orange trim, its board-stiff posture and aerodynamic shape give the appearance of a space shuttle. It takes off, rocketing towards Zi-O, breaking apart and snapping into place over him mid-descent.

Three! Two! One! o/` Fooourze! o/`

"Let's have a stellar time!" Fourze never said that, but Zi-O is a well known space cadet, anyway. Mashing the stop on the driver, he prepares for a finisher of his own.

FINISH TIME!

Leaning forward, the aerodynamic suit considerably cuts down on drag, and rocket gloves add extra thrust to the flight. His lower half bathed in pink light, he pivots his lower body, microthrusters turning him around in a high-speed corkscrew kick.

LIMIT TIME BREAK!

"Sorry, kids. Launch is scrubbed." With the sound of a revving engine, Another Drive jukes Zi-O's finisher, twirling to strike the now-rocket-themed rider squarely in the jaw. Zi-O strikes the ground instead, creating an explosion that knocks them both clear. With the fight traveling closer to the Rowan Tree Salon, Remee will have to hop to the building across the street to get a good angle.
Timespace Riders >Xion: Start Counting

Another Drive gets up and cracks his neck. "Here's my counter-offer: Start running." There's another engine sound--but it's not from the kaijin. A deep, baritone horn sounds, and a red Frankenstein's monster of a sports car comes barreling through traffic. Cars in the street and the parking lot alike are lifted by the imposing cowcatchers at the front, and the apocalyptic array of mismatched thrusters on the back make it move even faster than the kaijin does. It makes ramming passes at W, Chase, and Xion, before drifting in traffic. Another Drive is hit by Xion's photon wedge, the impact drawing sparks and lancing through him substantially enough to draw a snarl of pain. Nevertheless, the car deliberately slams into him, knocking him free of the trap, sending him hurtling into the side of the Rowan Tree Salon. He runs vertically up it, leaping into the air--high enough to give Petra a menacing salute--before he divekicks downwards, using the supercar to make up for the slowness imposed by her attack. Pinballing between the armored supercar and those unlucky enough to be at ground level with him, he makes several hit-and-run strikes at breakbeck speed.
Timespace Riders >Tamamo: Question the Adult Delinquent

"Here," he says. It's clearly a film camera, and not the kind that should have a picture ready right away. Nevertheless, he does--and although all principles of composition are rigidly adhered to, although it should have been a rather nice photo, it is paradoxically one of the worst she's ever seen. She is out of focus--no, actively evades focus even as she looks. "This world rejects me, too," explains Tsukasa.

On the subject of ill winds, he nods. "I can. Call it a sixth sense. Powerful beings have decided to make this place their battleground. Or maybe their tool. I don't like him, either. The kid, I'm still undecided on. I want to see if he's really going to become some tyrant, like Another Drive says. Frankly, I find it hard to believe considering his first thought was to make sure everyone in here was safe. But it does seem like he's running from something, all the same... doesn't it?"

Turning away from the battle to face Tamamo, "Tamamo-no-mae... so you've met Narutaki. Yes--I'm Kadoya. I wish I knew what he was after. I don't remember much of anything, before I started traveling between worlds, looking for one where I'd fit in. All I know is that he hates me enough to follow me and send monsters after me. Sometimes he even tells people I'm going to destroy the world, hoping they'll do what he can't or won't."

Tsukasa looks around, as if waiting to make sure Narutaki isn't watching. Then he extends his hand, and creates a screen of silvery light, exactly like the one Narutaki made. "I know it really makes him upset when I use my power."
Remee Halcyon "Alright," says Remee as she chambers another round into her rifle. "Just stay frosty, stay calm, don't get worked up, and stay behind cover..."

Her eyes track the gas tank as it goes upwards. "What is-" she starts to say to herself, staring blankly up at it.

And then it explodes.

She's staying *too* calm, maybe. She's not reacting quickly enough, since she's focusing in not getting worked up instead of relying on her instincts.

She's also on fire, but one problem at a time.

Remee tries to rebalance herself, and peeks into the battle again - there's a car.

"Let's deal with that..." she says, sighting down her rifle, aiming at the left front tire.

Then, after that, she goes to put herself out. Fortunately fire isn't on the long list of things that can shut her down, but - being on fire is still very unpleasant! And the smoke she's giving off could give away her position.
Shotaro Hidari The unexpected reversal of his finisher throws the pair off. Before he knows it Another Drive has tossed him towards the nearest bus stop, and the two-in-one Kamen Rider smash through it. Shotaro's ears are ringing from the blow, but thankfully nothing fatal. The moment they pull themselves out of the wreckage is when the Trydon just runs him over.

A good hundred feet from where they were a second ago, the now victim of a hit and run, Kamen Rider W slowly forces himself up again. Shotaro's body is screaming at him. However, nobody ever claimed that Shotaro had much sense.

However, this time he pulls out a new Gaia memory, pushing the button it calls out its name.

TRIGGER

Double replaces the purple-colored memory to replace it with the blue-colored one. The belt repeats the name of the memory, before Double pressing down, slotting the memory where it needs to be. Half of Double changes, becoming blue instead of purple, as the armor just seems to be air blasted on him.

Moments later, shots of air fire at Another Double. They slightly curve towards their target, as Shotaro, now visibly injured pushes himself towards Another Drive. "That's it? Because he was working with the Feds? Because from the camera footage of your attack on the General, and from what that man did..."

"It seemed far more likely he had something you wanted. Perhaps /needed/," He says, lining up another shot.
Xion In the thick of things, the battle-furious and power-surging solar warrior in black still has a moment to spare for Zi-O. She doesn't know enough to correct the Demon King's line - but she does feel enough for the person anyway to shout out an almost-supportive

"Zi-O!"

before he crashes and rattles to the ground, slipped away from by Another Drive. The Demon King and his attendant was actually helping out! And... Another Drive wasn't anyone that Xion thought he was. She truly had believed the phantom was the True Perpetrator. Instead, he was making poor offers.

"Here's my counter-offer:" Begins the twisted roadster.
"No." Xion cuts off Another Drive.

Her feet plant, and the keyblader in armored disguise turns the Kaixa Blaygun (it is actually called that) over in their hands, from gun-focused reverse grip to a sword-exclusive upright grip. Lowering and setting as the honk-crunching cowcatcher-tipped Another Tridoron is summoned to the battlefield to drive everyone down. Both armored hands tighten around her sword. From Twin Peaks, from the sky, from the sun. From the memory of a man who fought for that, and a place to belong, Xion draws her power, and moves not an inch from her spot. Just her hands, and the length of gold. She has to wait for the perfect timing -- given to her as Remee blasts at the tire. The car swerves -- her blade comes up -- and with a mighty swing she heaves the sun-sword up through the tumbling body of Another Tridoron, giving not an inch.

Over the vomiting expulsion of broken combustion engine and hate, Xion shouts. "Horseman, pass by!"
Hellwarming Trio Although Satori's relatively safe in the air, Utsuho and Rin aren't quite so lucky after their combined diving attacks at Another Drive alongside Zi-O. The explosion sends them tumbling back with the Fourze armored Zi-O. Satori joins them soon after, albeit without getting thrown around so much as moving to regroup with her pets and Sougo.

"This guy's way too dodgy... It's getting real old."
"Tell me about it! Any ideas?"
"Constant pressure may be our best bet... Zi-O, we'll try and restrict his movements. Wait for-"
"Hold up. What's that noise?"
"Sounds kinda familiar, doesn't it?"
"I've never heard of a car like that before, but... Watch out!"

Despite Satori's warning, Another Tridoron proves to be much faster coming than the youkai expect. It's only through Utsuho's and Rin's experiences with cars (and Satori reading about them) that they're able to avid getting literally run over. Instead, they brace for impact and lift off the ground just enough that when it hits them, it sends them across and over the windshield in wild spirals through the air.

It's better than being stuck under the car, at least, but it does do quite a number on them considering their recent injuries. Utsuho catches Satori in the air before she can go spiraling out of control, and Rin lands on her feet while hissing painfully at the speeding vehicle. Once they get their bearings straight, they go right back on the offensive, conjuring a rather obscene number of flaming projectiles in the sky.

"So what if he worked with... Whoever?"
"You scared of a little government guy?"
"I would have thought the ferocious Mister C would be braver than to fear a mere office worker."

As the trio starts taunting him, they also begin raining down wispy flames, magical shots crossing towards each other in rolling waves, and even an artificial (miniature) sun at and around both Another Drive and Another Tridoron. They're timing their attacks with Remee's and Double's shots to create some kind of projectile-based hell, too, although there's conspicuous gaps near Xion's attack path to make the most obvious path to safety directly aimed towards her.
Corona Arclite !! POTENTIAL VOLATILE PROJECTILE DETECTED !!

Corona takes a pause to check the alert on the HUD of her goggles, which hone in on the fuel tank lobbing into the air and identify what it is. "Aaw shit." Corona turns on a heel and sprints back, stowing the Starslingers back in her hammerspace arsenal as she does. Then she pulls out what could practically be described as an oversized and overclocked dustbuster type vaccum.

Which really isn't all that inaccurate.

Not when she braces the device with both hands and revs it up, angling it towards the hurtling tank just as it's shot at. It can't stop the detonation but it can suck up a good portion of the flames and shrapnel and ignitable chemicals. Except compressing that within the device isn't all that great, as it does keep the collateral damage down, but it sets off another explosion within the device and it blows up almost literally in Corona's face.

This is why you wear appropriate safety equipment kids! The goggles may be stylish dieselpunk accessories but they do serve a purpose!

"*hakk cough* Not muh brightest moment," Corona gasps as she gets up and discards the trashed invention. Goes for a different weapon, this time a rifle with several glowing greebles and a retro sci-fi energy coil instead of a barrel. As usual she doesn't sweat it over the previous invention backfiring and moves on. The rifle fizzles loudly as she cocks it into activation, sparkles of kirby krackle illuminating around it's projector.

"Who says ya gotta be a god to play with lightnin'?" A thunderous roar splits the air as the weapon unleashes a high frequency electron pulse crackling after Another Drive like some MAD SCIENCE fury of it's namesake.
Petra Soroka     Dodging an engine block! Easy! A big, slow moving hunk of metal is much easier for Petra to react to, adjusting her next shot to blast her out of the way of the engine. At its apex, she lands on top of it, combat boots clanging against the metal. Another Drive salutes her, and she smugly salutes back with her gun, pointing it directly upwards and firing rapidly, aimlessly, propelling herself and the engine down like a meteor, crashing towards the supercar.

Wait, sorry, is that plume of smoke Remee? Her stolen projectile will impact on its own; Petra gun-jumps in the direction of Remee, still not sure what kind of endurance the puppy's got. Arriving at the sniper post, the smoke sends Petra into a coughing fit which absolutely *sucks* for her broken ribs. She fumbles with the respirator in her suit, pulling it up to her face, then dives onto the roof, at least temporarily protected from the flame by her equipment.

"Remee? Is this," Petra notes the girl continuing to shoot, "Is this comfortable for you?" She shrugs off her bomber jacket, hurriedly using it to smother the flames.
Tamamo     It's not that Tamamo isn't in danger. She isn't hiding from Another Drive, though she is a distance away from the melee, to make it harder to reach her. It's that uncanny foresight that's saving her, talismans burning away around her, glass cracking, explosions not quite reaching her. Other things are destroyed, but she remains whole.

Visibly, at least. Something unseen breaks, invisible shields shattering, from the continued strain of her esoteric combat style. It's only the obvious, visual layer that shows her as aggravatingly difficult to hit, not quite being in the right place, at the right moment, for even a well-aimed laser to reach her. She'd stolen some of Another Drive's luck to make that happen, and she's not willing to give it back.

It would be much more difficult to hold a conversation while being shot. She isn't really fond of pain, either.

There are a dwindling number of glowing talismans orbiting her, now, but there's still enough, for the moment. Tamamo sees that Photon Wedge, takes a long moment to marvel at Xion's determined fight, and sends the talismans flying, transformed into arcing lights, in her direction. It's up to her to decide how to use that power. Tamamo's blessing is only to ensure that she'll have enough of it to keep going.

"Ah, on days like these, I can scarcely guess as to how much I do not know. Truly, is the world not a wondrous place? From afar, one could not see such details as these, and know the names of those that stake their claims, whether they be heroes or villains. To know one from another becomes a difficult thing. Even more so, to know oneself is no easy task."

'Frankly, I find it hard to believe considering his first thought was to make sure everyone in here was safe.'

"I, too, find such a thing unlikely. He spoke of becoming a kind king. Can even a demon be kind?"

'But it does seem like he's running from something, all the same... doesn't it?'

"Perhaps so. Ah, but one can only run toward the future, rather than away from. It is that he wishes to veer onto another path, is it not so? To divert a river, too, is a difficult thing."

'Sometimes he even tells people I'm going to destroy the world, hoping they'll do what he can't or won't.'

"Though I would not call him an honest man, in this, I believe he speaks from sincerity." Tamamo watches the silvery screen. "One is prophesied to become a tyrant, and though he speaks otherwise, he is feared for what he may become. Even those with good intentions, who seek only the pure path, may be rejected by the world, and called a monster. Their intent rejected, destruction may follow after them... or else, prove to be only rumors without basis. Perhaps your power is one such. Ah, but it is fruitless to caution one against such things, I know. Ever would the curiosity remain. One can only back away from the flame when one has felt its heat."

It's a new talisman that slips from from Tamamo's long sleeve when she says that, flipped to brandish in front of her, and flicked out toward the battlefield through the laser-broken windows. It floats up through the air, higher and further out, just a speck in the sky, right up until it intersects the line between Another Drive and the Sun.

Then, it's consumed in a column of fire that rushes onto him, holding steadily until it vanishes as suddenly, leaving fused metal and slickened, half-melted streets.

She'll compensate the owners of any vehicles caught up in it, later.

"Why the world should reject you, I do wonder. Would you allow me to read your own fortunes? Ah, but we may do so another time, should you remain in touch. We have, perhaps, this point in common, between ourselves, and Zi-O." She does not explain what that point in common is.
Chase      The fake Tridoron is a distraction. It's something that Mashin Chaser isn't going to bother with, even as the vehicle slams into him and sends him flying back. Much like the attacks before though, it doesn't really seem to leave any lasting marks on him as he quickly pulls himself up.

"A doppleganger is not much of a description. Are you a Roidmude?"

Chase repeats the part of his question that wasn't answered as he levels the Faiz Phone at the Another Rider again, pulling the trigger again to let loose another rapid flurry of lasers as he chases after him again.

He raises the Break Gunner in his hand up high, before slamming the spiked bit of the toyetic gun straight into the doppelganger's car wreck of a face.
Timespace Riders      Sparks fly as the tire is shed from the front wheel. Tires are actually rather substantial things--to be hit with one is to know this. It smashes into Another Drive's chest, knocking him off balance. Sparks fly from the metal beneath it, the car struggling to keep straight, weaving dangerously. His potential options for egress blocked off by the bevy of projectiles from Utsuho, Rin and Satori, the lightning from Corona's caster, blasts from W's Triggermagnum and Chase's Faiz Phone, the pillar from Tamamo turning the sun itself against him, Another Drive spends an inordinate amount of energy just trying to Not Be Hit.

There's just enough time for Shotaro to hear him laugh, before the car, careening out of control, slams into Another Drive and puts him through the wall of the salon. The car itself, cleaved by Xion's Tamamo-empowered strike, disappears in a ball of fire as Petra's redirected engine block crashes perfectly between the two halves of the rear-engined behemoth. Frightened customers stream out of the building in droves.

"I won't say no to a fortune reading. But... that looks like trouble," says Tsukasa to Tamamo, pointing slowly and dramatically at the fight having transitioned to the interior. "Let's make sure that reflection doesn't make any ugly faces, first."
Timespace Riders THE ROWAN TREE SALON

"I'm not one of your brain-damaged siblings, you idiot." Inside the salon, there is a man. The timbre of his voice, the shape of his face, the color of his eyes and hair--these are familiar. One who knew the man could say that they're those of Agent Dale Cooper, were it not for the utter lack of any warmth, the sleazy style of his clothes, the length of his hair (past the ears). "As fun as this has been..." Cooper holds a twisted-looking version of the pocketwatches Zi-O and Woz use. On its face is the crumpled, car-crash visage of Another Drive. Beneath it, an LCD chronometer reads 1989.

"I do have a job to do and a project to work on." Without hesitation, Cooper plunges the Another Ridewatch into his own chest, his hand disappearing behind his sternum. The event horizon of some gnarled temporal anomaly spews from the self-inflicted wound, and he grits his teeth through what must be excruciating pain, before he's completely enveloped. It's at this point that Tsukasa and Tamamo enter, by way of one of the mysterious rider's silvery portals.

"Hey there. You two are just in time. No matter what, I'm getting what I want. Especially because the little king doesn't have what he needs to make me gone for good. Right now, Audrey Horne's hiding under her desk. Remember her, Rin? You two used to get up to all kinds of trouble. I can smell her fear even from here." He laughs. "It's delicious. Mashin Chaser. Kaixa. W. The little king and his retainer, too. Belts off, or I put a laser through that wall and kill her before you can blink. Tamamo, no more prayer strips. You with the pistol--the psychic, yeah you. The inventor, too--don't get any ideas, and make sure your friend outside is clued in, too. We make a trade. The little king's life for hers."

Without hesitation, Zi-O removes the ridewatch from his belt. There is a terse, silent exchange between him and Woz. The retainer refuses.

"Counter-offer," says Tsukasa. "I kill him now, you let Audrey go and I'll get you what you want from General Briggs." He procures a transformation device--it almost looks like a camera--and straps it around his waist. He holds up a card with a barcode, and a depiction of 'Decade' upon it. Woz levels his spear.

Another Drive's grunt of assent is all Tsukasa needs.

KAMEN RIDE. DECADE!

The card is slotted into his belt, and segmented magenta armor appears over him, a barcoded helmet the last detail to appear. Decade levels a square pistol at Zi-O; Woz moves to intercede. Decade turns, flings a portal towards Aubrey's office, and opens fire on Another Drive with a square pistol, closing the distance to shift the pistol into a thin-bladed sword. "You're an unsightly reflection. Get out of here."
Corona Arclite Telling an inventor not to get any ideas is like trying to tell ocean not to wave. Especially when said inventor is adaptable and a bit on the paranoid side. Properly prepared sort of paranoid, but all the same.

Though for her part Corona keeps it to just thinking, watching as demands are made and conversation shifts between the various Riders. Corona puts her lightning rifle away. Being the sort that usually goes by justice being what you make for yourself she's only playing along in the moment because there was a threat on other's lives being made.

Up until Decade transforms and moves in on Another Drive, making it clear it's not going to be an actual trade negotiation. In the space of a few seconds.

But a split-second opening is all Corona needs. As soon as Decade makes a move on Another and hopefully grab his attention, gunslinger reflexes draw the heavy sidearm in a blurr of motion. That span of seconds is just long enough for her to quick draw, aim, and pull the trigger.

The dieselpunk sidearm barks loud and sharp as it fires, hyper accelerating an explosive round at Another Drive!
Petra Soroka     Petra's a decent distance away from the combat now. Just as well too, her wounds are searing from the exertion, her ammunition is low, her chest is racked with pain from every smoke-induced cough. She pats down Remee, making sure the flames are out, and taking a few burns herself now that her fireproof jacket is occupied. With that settled, she slumps into a sitting position on the roof. Blissfully out of sight.

Petra leans back, with a sigh. She's pretty confident that this was a better fight than Hiromi was. Not as dramatic, but nothing she could be mocked for. She did alright! She puts down a mental tally in her 'wins' column, and smiles, looking off at the concluding combat. Would it have been better for Lilian to be here to see that she could hold her own? Almost certainly not. But she can't help but wonder, what exactly she needs to do to prove herself to that girl.

A heavy lump settles in Petra's gut, and she's not sure whether it's guilt, shame, or something else. Only healthy response is for her to avoid thinking about it however possible, instead listening in on the radio to track how Another Drive goes down.
Shotaro Hidari Double stops, the moment the hostage situation became apparent. Worse, his investigation of the town made Cooper known to him, but to have him be the person behind Another Drive...

No, he was missing some crucial piece of information. However, things start to line up...was the psychopath put into a mental institution really the bad guy...or...

Or did he leave but go back in time? Then how is this Cooper..? Too many possibilities, and not enough information. Slowly, Double's hand moves towards the Gaia memories. He slowly pulls out Cyclone, carefully making his movements deliberate. The moment that Another Drive's attention was not focused on him, but on Tsukasa.

His hand switches out the memory in his hand and replaces it with a Yellow memory. He can't afford to look at anyone else but Another Drive, but he assumes the other people here are waiting, holding their breaths for this moment. The attack from Decade comes, getting the hostage out of there.

The yellow memory slams down.

LUNA TRIGGER

Almost immediately, the yellow arm of Double snaps up, stretching out to try and smack Another Drive across the face. He grabs the Luna memory, shoving it into the Triggermagnum he holds. Then he holds the gun in both hands, and a sound with a rising pitch starts to radiate from the gun.

LUNA MAXIMUM DRIVE

He fires multiple charged shots from the gun, but instead of firing in a direct arc, they swarm in a bunch of homing shots.

"TRIGGER FULL BURST!" the two-in-one Kamen Riders shout together.
Xion With one resolute motion, Xion chops down through the wreck, and it is past her, and she is barely scraped. Turning, re-orienting, she follows Another Drive into the room, but the pyros from the car get in the way, and she's lost in the debris and ball of fire that erupts suddenly through the entryway of the Rowan Tree Salon.

She steps through the woosh of smoke and dust, boots thunking against the scorched ground, glowing brightly in the haze.

Kaixa's faceplate stares at the foe of twenty-five years -- Former Agent Dale Cooper.

Rather than lift her burning Blaygun in her right hand, Xion moves her left, resting a dark-armored hand on the Kaixa Phone and lifting it, thumbing up the swing of it, and depressing the END button. Around her, the gold lines of the armor shimmer. The thick black armor retracts back into the suggestions in gold, and the lines fade, losing Xion quite a bit of height in the process as the Itsuro Takuma-Kaixa appearance fades from the noirette. Her blue eyes glare at Another Drive and his hostage taking... "... but he wouldn't risk her life." Conveniently, as if by the 'change of actors', the Blaygun simply ceases existing in her hands, and its light goes out, leaving only the Kaixa Phone in her lifted left hand, and the Mach medallion-and-keychain wrapped around her hanging right.

Things become even more tense when Tsukasa Kadoya returns with Tamamo -- just to threaten to betray everyone! The grunt of assent from Another Drive almost gets Xion to stop gunbarreling the twisted Cooper to glance at the transforming Tsukasa, but she has an idea of what's going on.

With the portal - she feels it keenly, able to react immediately to its formation - blocking the shot, Xion swings up her right wrist, catching the dangling medallion.

"Of the many things you got wrong, Another Drive--" She announces. "--one of them was that you were faster than me. Actually - it's a Dead Heat!"

Mach's power, in her hand, bursts hotrod red across her arm and blooms once more into focus. A high-tone motorcycle engine roar and approaching tiresound eludes to her attack, his motorcycle-themed blaster (the Zenrin Shooter, a white wheel-gun blaster with a literal front wheel) forming in her hand in place of the medallion - and the Kaixa Phone slotting in to the wide Plastic Acceptor Port in the back of the gun (for slotting in your greeble garbage, obviously).

READY announces the phone, but Xion isn't done. As she once more lunges, this time with a vroom! vroom! sound, she starts manually rapidly spinning the wheel until IT announces BURST! Then, after playing bop-it with her toy plastic -- she swings right into center mass of Another Drive, right on the datestamp.

In a moment of opportune time - right as Shotaro's Trigger Full Burst curves artfully around her, she pulls the weapon's trigger.

One more plastic hoot rings out, with the compressed tyre explosion of her comedically over-interacted-with weapon. EXCEED CHARGE, and the pop of the front wheel.
Hellwarming Trio It looks like Another Drive's on the back foot finally, and the three give chase as he gets thrown through the salon by the out of control car. Satori only gives the vehicle a cursory glance, but its appearance and apparent destruction give Utsuho and Rin reason to pause at least for a moment.

"It ain't his, Orin."
"Tch.. I know, but...!"
"... Yeah. This jerk's gonna pay!"

Another Drive's repeated taunts and jeers is really getting to Rin and Utsuho, and it looks like they're ready to go for the throat by the time they find him again inside the salon. His voice, however, has them hesitating once again as a look of recognition crosses both of their faces.

"... Cooper? What's all this about?"
"What happened to you? Wait, you're...? But that's Teach's... "
"You're using Teach's look to mess with everything now?!"

Satori, sensing their aggravation reaching its boiling point, steps closer to the two while placing a hand on each of their shoulders to calm them down in light of the hostage situation. Somehow, she's the one that looks surprised when they actually comply with not flying off the handle, and they're stuck in place while watching Zi-O removing his Ridewatch. It's not as if they don't know Audrey, either, but the frustration over not knowing how to actually proceed only makes things worse.

.. Right up until Decade turns the situation around to no longer being a hostage situation. Satori leans in and whispers to Utsuho and Rin, then gives the two a little shove moments before they start sprinting for Another Drive. It's clear as day that they're enraged by Cooper's reveal, the kasha covered with swirling flames and the raven warping the air around her control rod with the nuclear energy building within it.

"What's gotten into you?!"
"You were supposed to be the cool one!"
"We thought you were happy with how things went back then... What gives now?"

Unlike the fight outside, there's little discipline behind the youkai's attacks. They stop short of leveling the entire building with sheer power, though, instead taking their business with him up close. Rin goes low, dashing around his legs repeatedly to strike at him from below while those lingering flames follow each of her strikes to practically attach themselves to his lower body. Utsuho goes for center mass and just charges straight at him, coming in after all those shots from Corona and Xion and Double to start bashing away at him with the radiation-fueled thing and trying to just melt the armor that looks so much like one of their teacher's.
Tamamo     "Mr. Cooper...? No, I suppose I had you mistaken for someone else, Mr. C."

Tamamo startles as the situation develops, eyes widened, ears straight up, especially after Decade points his gun at the detransformed Zi-O.

Her talismans are all put away. She'd largely used them up in helping Xion and Shotaro and keeping herself from being shot, anyway, and would need to pull out new tricks from deeper pockets.

But there is something more she can do, even without her tools. Did Cooper ever see this? Does he know? Possibly not. She doesn't like to take the gloves off.

    "Mr. C--"

'To let the mask slip' would be a more accurate turn of phrase.

    "Do not turn from me."

Blazing, searing light, from her eyes, to Another Drive's. The locked gaze has all the force of inescapable gravity. Her eyes are fascinating, mesmerizing pools of molten gold. Her hair is the flares curling into space, beyond the halo. There's no end to the depths one can fall into her eyes, though the heat is deadly, and the fire is incineration. Life is given and taken away from the same source.

Most of this is in only in his head, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.
Timespace Riders In this moment, all of Another Drive's energy is spent trying to destroy Decade. The magenta rider's sword clashes with Another Drive's shield in several spark-flying displays, their legs interlocking as each vies for more advantageous position. Decade locks him in a clinch, swinging him around so that his back is to the rest of you--namely, to Corona's handcannon. It strikes him dead center, hurling him from Decade's grasp and knocking down a carefully arranged pyramid of nail products.

The car-crash monster pounds a fist into the ground, getting to his feet in time for a blast from Zi-O's laser pistol to strike the white '1989' on A-Drive's shoulderplate. Surprisingly, the Another Rider ignores the would-be king, instead revving up and charging at Decade again. Decade gracefully jukes him, making a roundhouse that pushes him towards Rin and Utsuho.

"'They're all fine, they're all fine!'" He mocks, reminding the two of them of that day--the day he tricked them into thinking that he'd escaped the Lodge just fine. His counterattacks are vicious, but he isn't even bothering to try avoiding them--just taking trades to hurt as much as he can. Accordingly, the heat from their attacks, the force of their explosions, hits him dead-on, too.

W's Full Burst pummels him, harder than he can wriggle his way out of, or fight against. He is, hammered by the homing shots, a prisoner in his own armor, thanks to Tamamo's mesmerising glare. Brought to one knee by the hail of spark-showering impacts, Xion's high-speed finisher explodes against his chest.

Once again knocked out of his transformation by overwhelming force, Cooper spits, having flown through a few aisles of haircare products, coming to a stop by now-vacant rows of hair steamers. He landed face-first, glaring at the investigation team on all fours by the feedback from his stolen power absorbing the blows. Each hairdressers' station has its own outlet. Cooper reaches for it.

"He's not coming back," says Mr. C to Xion. "You're stuck with me. And I'll be seeing you, and the rest of your friends again, real soon." His finger touches the outlet. The lights flicker, then die--the only illumination in the salon comes from the windows. In the morning sunlight filtering through, you can just barely make out his fading form. The buzz of electricity grows near deafening--and then the lights return. Cooper--Another Drive--is gone.
Timespace Riders      "How can he laugh... knowing how much pain he's causing?" Sougo's fist is closed; white-knuckled.

Woz removes the Ridewatch from his own belt, sighing. "My Demon King... please do not do that again."

"Here," says Tsukasa, removing the card from his Decadedriver. "You don't seem like a tyrant to me. Take this for a spin the next time he shows up." A magenta greeble that looks like it might slot into Sougo's Timespace Driver is tossed towards him. "I want to see the kind of king you'll be. You're working hard to change the course of that river. Aren't you?" The adult delinquent glances towards Tamamo, then back at Sougo.

"Not everyone likes what they see in the mirror," he eventually says, explaining Mr. C's cruel, sadistic behavior. "That reflection was inside the real thing."

"I can't accept that!" Sougo raises his voice. "I can't believe someone could have that darkness inside them."

Tsukasa takes a step forward, raising his own voice over Sougo's. "Believe what you like!" He shoves the younger rider, hard. "Every photo has a negative. That's true of everyone here. Your choice in life is confronting it, or running away from it. You've seen what the second choice brings."

Tsukasa leaves without another word, stepping through the hole in the wall. Sougo is left to ponder his words, and the strangely-shaped Ridewatch he's been given.
