Kuroto Dan      It's been a long time since the last huge outbreak of the Bugster Virus in the Multiverse, and it's been pretty quiet since then. People who didn't know better might even say the situation had been solved since then.

It hasn't, though, and Hibiki gets a text message from a long-forgotten individual on her phone, as if to specifically remind her that the problem is far from over.

     (2) NEW MESSAGES
     Kuroto Dan replies,
     > Something's come up, I need you to bring the Gashat I gave you and come quickly. I'll explain everything.

The second text is just the written location and time for the meet up, being the same exact park steps (you know the one) that the CEO had met Hibiki and the others.

Whether she's on time or not, however, Hibiki will notice one thing when she arrives...

     There is no one here.
Hibiki Tachibana     You know what they say; no news is good news. Just like things have been relatively quiet on Hibiki's own homefront despite some weirdness before, she's considered the lack of any news on the Bugster Virus to (hopefully) mean there's no developments that the Kamen Riders haven't been able to handle themselves. She'd like to think that, anyway.

But when the extremely nice Kuroto-san from before suddenly gives her a message like that, she can't help but worry that it means there's been some kind of turn for the worse. Now that she thinks about it, there was that Gashat-hunting Kamen Rider who kept harassing all of them before...if Kuroto is calling about hers, then maybe something had happened.

In which case, she doesn't want to waste any time. She got her stuff together, threw her jacket on, made sure the Kasai Breathers Gashat was in her pocket, and hurried off towards the meeting point.

A fairly familiar meeting point. Yeah, this sure is where she met him before...and also, if memory serves, where a poor Bugster got thrown down the entire flight of stairs. That gets a grimace out of her...before she blinks and glances around. "Huh...? I'm definitely on time. I even made sure to be..." ...Weird. Slowly, she makes her way up the stairwell towards the top.

"Maybe he's the one late? Or..."
Kuroto Dan      As if waiting for the cue, the moment Hibiki even suggests that she was on time, a Kamen Rider suddenly makes its presence known, standing at the very top of the steps.

Black, purple, and white. The very same Rider as before. Or at the very least, one can assume. They look a bit different, the sleek and stream-lined body Hibiki probably remembers is instead a rather fat and bulky suit, making them look much more like a mascot character than anything else.

"As the Game Master, I will ask only once. Either hand that gashat of yours over and leave with your life, or be buried in darkness. "

Though he's already giving an ultimatum, the black Rider already seems to be assuming the girl's answer, as he's already holding on to a Gashat that he's already hovering over one of the empty slots in his Gamer Driver.
Hibiki Tachibana     Hibiki stops mid-step, halfway up the way - the moment she realizes that she's not alone, but the one who came to see her was entirely unexpected. That black Kamen Rider...! He's--

...looking a lot different, actually. She sure does give a few blank-faced blinks, but goes right back to complete seriousness before too long - she's seen enough ridiculous-looking things by now to know that appearances don't mean all that much. Especially when he already has another Gashat at the ready. "You again...'Game Master'..." Man, that's an over the top title. Her teeth clench together, glancing down at it and then back up to his mask.

Slowly, one of her hands dives into her jacket pockets, pulling out the Gashat and turning it to show off the cover and the pair of dragons on it. "...This is what you're after, huh? I remember you wanted it and the others last time, too." Someone who doesn't know her might take that as her considering handing it over. But this mystery rider knows better, clearly, because her grip only tightens on it as her other hand goes up to her collar.

Pulling it down just enough to wrap her hand around the crimson pendant beneath it. "...Sorry, but it's sure not yours! If you want it so badly, you'll have to take it! What do you even want it for, if you're not working with the other Kamen Riders here!?"
Kuroto Dan

    "Grade four."

     Gashat!

In response to Hibiki's answer, the mysterious rider inserts the gashat into the driver, the device letting out a deafening confirmation sound, though it's only one of many to come, as they quickly grab hold of the pink handle on their belt, swinging it back to open up the belt and reveal an LCD screen in the center.

    Gashan! LEVEL UP!
Mighty Jump! Mighty Kick! Mighty-Mighty-Mighty Action X!
Hand in Hand! Hand to Hand!  Let's Go Uchinuku Fighting!

A cacophony of cheesy game-like callouts drowns the empty park as the Rider transforms, erupting from their doughy body much like a butterfly from a cocoon to reveal their much more familiar form. That nostalgic appearance is short-lived, however, as a white and orange dragon emerges above him, breaking up into bits and pieces as it attaches itself to Genm. It's not one to one, but the inspiration for the armor that they now don is clear, especially when one gets to the piston-like gauntlets that now cover his hands.

"Behold. Kamen Rider Genm - Level 4."

Not bothering to wait for Hibiki, Kamen Rider Genm leaps down the steps, doing an acrobatic flip as he brings both of his hands together to bring them down against the girl in a brutal overhead fashion.
Hibiki Tachibana     Hibiki braces herself and bends her knees, obviously prepared to fight and on her guard as the black Kamen Rider takes on the expected appearance - and then some. "Eeeeeehhhh!?" She knows exactly how diverse that Kamen Rider greebles can be, and it's not even the first time that someone has outright taken inspiration from her. It is, however, the first time someone who's /not on her side/ has done it. It's enough that she's momentarily stuck wide-eyed, staring as Genm comes down from overhead.

    "--Balwisyall nescell Gungnir tron!"

Fortunately she does just before impact, bringing an arm up as her body is silhouetted in light. Genm's blow crashes in at the same instant one of her gauntlets blinks into existence, mitigating only some of the damage of the blow that goes on to send her tumbling back head-over-heels down the stairwell. Only a couple though, before the rest of her Symphogear locks into place, finishing with the scarf billowing behind her as she flips down the rest of the way and lands on her feet.

"Looks like you're not interested in talking, then...! You asked for it!"

    KASAI BREATHERS!

Clicking her own Gashat fills the air with the stench of burning plastic, but more importantly, sends up a pair of twin dragons that fly up and then back down to snap into position over her existing gauntlets. Without hesitation, she leaps the whole distance back up the steps, her right fist and the red dragon on it coming up in a heavy-handed uppercut!
Kuroto Dan      "There is nothing to talk about. You have something that belongs to me, and I'm going to take it."

Genm's tone of voice as he says this is in an extremely matter-of-fact manner. As if Hibiki, no, everyone, should know this. It doesn't make a lot of sense for him to speak that way, given how much of a mystery he's been, but this Rider really hasn't been the most consistent or understandable for the entirety of his existence.

Hibiki throws a mighty uppercut in retaliation, and Genm side steps it as best he can, the blow grazing his chest hard enough for his HP bar to drop. And yet, rather than dropping to the floor, he rolls with the literal punches, lunging forward like a drunken zombie so that he's positioned himself behind the Gear user, before suddenly spinning around to deliver a solid backhand to her head and a swift repulsing punch to the arch of her back.

"This is your last chance. I'd rather not have to remove a piece like yourself off the board. "

He voices what may sound like some sort of concern for the girl, though the harsh delivery and phrasing make it sound more like he's threatening her yet again.

Hibiki Tachibana     It's not as clean a blow as Hibiki would have liked, but that's not as much of a concern as the frankly weird movement that Genm makes following it. It's weird, hard to follow, and she's more than a little on the backfoot as she has to suddenly brace her feet in to spin and try to reorient to catch him. "Ngh--" Unfortunately, too slow.

She gets hit in the back and in the head at the same time and goes stumbling forward, barely catching herself from falling over completely and slamming against the stairs with her hands. She uses a split second to get her breath back and respond. "Hah...that makes it sound like you have some kind of use for me. Even I can tell that."

And then all at once, she pushes off and back to her feet, using the momentum to come back around in a spinning kick aimed towards Genm's side. That's only just to try and unbalance him however - as right behind it, once she's gotten back to a full stand, she rears back her left hand and punches straight ahead as a gout of blue flame trails after the blow to add an explosive kick to the impact.

"--So no thanks! And this /isn't/ yours!"

What in the world is with the way this guy talks, though? Like the Gashat already belongs to him...and /way/ more confident than he has any right to be. At least as far as she can see.
Kuroto Dan      The hits connect, but Genm seems to have stopped caring as he rolls across the ground from the force of Hibiki's attack . There's an audible sound of his HP depleting yet again as his HP drops even lower, but he at the very least, doesn't seem to lose momentum, rolling back up into a standing position with the greatest of ease.

"Need is a strong word. A Game Master always needs someone willing to play along, and you follow along to my whims without even so much as a thought in that head of yours, considering you came to this place without a second thought, Tachibana-san."

Genm says this cooly as he leaps up into the air. Rather than falling back down on the ground beneath him, though, he instead lands on a brick block that appears just underneath his feet. Several more of these blocks appear as he platforms his way across the sky, the last of them appearing slightly away from Hibiki before he suddenly leaps towards her yet again.

Stretching out his legs, he delivers his own kick straight to the girl's chest, and then another, and another, repeating his assault as if he was riding a bicycle.

When he's done, rather than landing back on his feet in front of her, he instead quickly grabs hold of Hibiki's shoulders, using her so that he can push himself up into the air again and do a sick air pirouette as he lands behind her yet again.

Hibiki Tachibana     "You--" Hibiki starts, but she doesn't actually have an immediate clapback to the mention of her playing right along to his fiddle. Her voice dies down in her throat, becoming a grunt as she shifts back and works to follow what she thinks is going to be another jump-in - just to become a platforming adventure that throws her off of his approach until he's finally descending down.

She crosses her arms up, taking the initial kick straight to the metal of her gauntlets. And again, and again, and again after that, barely holding her ground but managing to deflect away the impact of each kick with alternating shifts of her forearms.

Until he goes to flip off of her, pushing off her shoulders to spiral through the air. But Hibiki doesn't let him get away with that. "If anything, you baiting me here just gives me a chance to get some--ANSWERS!"

She goes to grasp onto one of Genm's legs before he can get too far, both her own heavy grip strength and the maws of the dragon covering her fists clamping down. Making for a doubly strong hold as she attempts to seize him with everything she's got, and then whirl around while yanking him along to /throw/ him down the entire length of the stairway. The landing is gonna hurt.
Kuroto Dan      Genm doesn't get his cool flip, instead he's caught before he can gracefully touch terra firma and thrown down the stairway. It probably hurts a lot less when you're wearing armor, but it doesn't dampen the emotional pain of taking such a tumble.

Hitting the floor with a loud thud, Genm lays sprawled on the ground for a few seconds to process everything, before... Laughing. It sounds gross, it doesn't sound natural, but he laughs anyway as he pulls himself back up. There's two pips left on the Rider Gauge on his chest, but he really doesn't care. He cares even less than last time.

"Answers? ANSWERS!? You really think you deserve those? Well, I'll give you them. I'll give you so many answers they'll bury with that annoying coroner."

He pulls out the weird hybrid chainsaw/blaster he had used in previous encounters, ripping off the Gamer Driver from his waist as he replaces it with the weapon.

     GACHON!

The new belt gurgles out a noise and plays a looping track as Genm now holds up a new stark white gashat. He presses a button on the side, the greeble proudly announcing the words Dangerous Zombie! with an accompanying guitar rift.

      "Grade ten."

Slipping it into the device, it makes a clicking noise before Genm pushes in a switch on top, causing a holographic panel with two skeletal riders to appear in front of him as the belt begins playing even more obnoxious and gross noises.

    BUGGLE UP!
DANGER! DANGER! GENOCIDE! DEATH THE CRISIS! DANGEROUS ZOMBIE!

There's a palpable rancid aura that builds up before the new black and white Genm busts through the very panel he summoned, shattering it into pieces as he holds both of his arms outstretched. Like a zombie, surprising no one.

He doesn't bother announcing or explaining his new form to Hibiki, instead lunging forward, this time with the ferocity of a berserker as he flips through the air. He spreads his limbs out and lands on top of Hibiki, attempting to pin her down to the ground with his weight as he starts clawing at the weapons on her arms, attempting to rip them off her body in large colored plastic chunks.
Hibiki Tachibana     That laughing gets a grimace out of Hibiki, now having the (literal) high ground in their engagement. As far as she knows, that's a 'health bar' of some kind, and she doesn't know what's so funny when i's that low. "What...?" Annoying coroner? Who is he...?

That question will have to wait, as Genm is far from done. "Another belt--" Well, it's not really a belt, but it sure is a transformation item. Hibiki goes wide-eyed as the new Gashat is slotted in, and the horror-themed transformation completes with her opponent bursting out. Now that she thinks about it, that was a pretty zombie-like dodge before. But now...

He's coming in fast!? Faster than she expected, where she's promptly slammed down into the ground under the force of his impact, hitting the floor hard on her back and gritting her teeth to bite back the sound of pain. Of which there are plenty more as she's stuck in place and clawed at, both of the Gashat-made gauntlet add-ons suffering extensive damage as they're shredded away. "Gah...!" It looks like she's the one on the backfoot now, with this increased aggression. Though not if she has anything to say about it.

"Over my...dead.../body/!" Abruptly, the hydraulic jacks in her leg armor eject themselves forward - and then /slam/ back down into their housing, reducing the stairway beneath them into a small crater in a sudden burst of raw force. Hibiki uses the moment before she falls the few feet into said crater to suddenly whirl her body around in the air - and go to knee Genm in the gut to dislodge him and put him on his back.

And then promptly beat him further down into it with a flurry of blows, punch coming after punch to pound him into the pavement. Probably with a lot of Toku sparks.
Kuroto Dan      Hibiki's knee finds purchase in Genm's gut, though it seems like that was the plan, as he latches on to her even as she forces him down into the concrete. Each of her blows connect cleanly against his body, each would arguably be enough to floor a lesser man. There are dents and cracks in his armor that weren't there before, but after a certain point,  despite the shower of toku sparks he's emitting, Genm's body decides enough is enough, and with an eerie groan, he catches her fist right before she delivers the last punch.

     "That can be arranged."

His crumpled body begins twisting and turning in unnatural ways as it stands back up, a dark aura enveloping the rider as it does so. The damage that Hibiki had inflicted in her anger is gone, with not even a pip of health off his Ridger Gauge. Though that's probably because...

It's broken. The chest display is irreparably cracked, with his health display clearly frozen at zero.

     GASHACON BREAKER!

As he continues to crush Hibiki's caught fist, Genm uses his one free hand to go through a select screen to summon what is clearly a video game mallet, and then swings the vibrantly colored weapon upwards to clock the girl right underneath the chin in an attempt to send her reeling back.
Hibiki Tachibana     "Wha--" Stopping her punch is one thing, but not even seeming fazed by getting belted by a flurry of them is another one completely. Between all those completely freakish twists and the menacing Dark Rider aura, she doesn't even know what's going on at first. At least, not until she momentarily manages to glance down at that health bar. It's...

Zero!? Doesn't that mean he should be down for the count by now!? No, wait...

    Dangerous...Zombie?

She only hits that realization at the same moment she gets belted in the chin by the Rider's weapon, send half-flying half-tumbling backwards and away from Genm. That one clearly knocked some of the sense out of her, judging from the way she's stumbling on her way to get back to her feet. "Ugh...you've got...to be kidding..." What is she supposed to do about /that/?

Well, that's pretty obvious, at least to her. An arm comes back, and the half-mangled dragon gauntlet originating from Kasai Breathers sputters and fumes out a few crimson flames to wash over her clenched fist. Exhaling and picking herself back up to her full height, she braces up. "...But that's got to have a limit somewhere. So I'll just--/FIND IT!/"

In a heavy escalation from the simple HIT! that just clocked her, Hibiki's right hand glows with an awesome power, plus a lot of fire. Combining the power of Symphogear and Gashat both, she lets out a roar before she suddenly leaps back in to close the distance in one go!

And brings her arm down in a full-force, unrestrained blow straight to the face that's going to try to send Genm flying, not only from the direct impact, but also the stream of heat that shoots out after to carry him away on the stream of debatable quality flames!
Kuroto Dan      Kamen Rider Genm attempts to contest Hibiki's own kimewaza with his hammer. It goes about as well as one would expect, his weapon arm instantly crumpling as he's sent flying across the park, only stopping once a nearby bench gets in his way and is obliterated on impact. Buried in the debris and unmoving, it seems that perhaps, the limit Hibiki has been looking for has been reached.

That is not the case. With another inhuman groan, Genm's body twists and contorts itself back up into the standing position. The only sign of possible lasting damage to him is that he rolls his head back to crack his neck.

"You wanted answers, right? Here's one!"

The Rider points one finger at Hibiki for emphasis as he smashes the B button on his Buggle Driver.

    CRITICAL DEAD!

The disgusting voice of the belt cries out once more as the area around Hibiki's feet changes. The same, rancid aura that had been surrounding Kamen Rider Genm pools around her feet, taking the form of multiple shadow zombies that desperately grab on to to her limbs, moaning and groaning just like the real thing.

They aren't really hurting her though, not yet. Eventually, once the crowd of zombies get dense enough, they begin to glow red, reaching some sort of critical point as they violently explode in a cloud of dark Tokusatsu SFX.

"My Dangerous Zombie has no limits! Level 10... Can also be read as Level X!"

Hibiki Tachibana     Exhaling hard, Hibiki trudges after Genm as he's sent dramatically flying to stay within sight range - only for what she thinks is an extremely exhausting victory to turn into no victory at all, eyes shooting open as she watches Genm once again force itself back to the way it should be. "Seriously!? How much harder do I have to hit you to make it stick!?"

She grimaces and braces herself as best as she can for whatever the return punch is going to be...but is caught by surprise when she finds her attempts to move being cut off, looking down only to let out a gasp as her legs are restrained. Her attempts at beating them off only lead to more taking their place, followed behind by one arm and then the other getting held down. "Come on...! " Just as she works to strain as hard as she can...

    Boom.

Hibiki vanishes inside the smoke as Genm gloats, and it's pretty reasonable to assume she was taken out by all of that. But as if she had taken Genm's refusal to go down when she hit him as a challenge...

    "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!"

Before the smoke has finished clearly, she shoots out of it as a bullet right towards the Kamen Rider, eyes wide and wild. The damage to her Symphogear is clearly heavy, but not enough that she can't boost at full speed to get right in his face within the span of a second - and throw her entire body into a simple, full-force hit with her fist. Nothing else behind it, just an obscenely strong hit meant to try and leave a Genm-shaped ditch in the park.

...Followed by her being unable to stop herself, hitting the ground and skipping along it like a rock several times before coming down and leaving her own Hibiki-shaped ditch marking where she's skidded to a stop. Partway through it, a flash of light covers her body and disperses as quick as it had come, leaving her back in her casual clothes - panting desperately for air, Symphogear returned back to pendant form...and her Gashat having clattered away from her, just barely out of arm's reach.
Kuroto Dan      Hibiki tries one last full-out attack by attempting to utilize the rancid aura cloud from the explosion to her advantage. Unfortunately for her, this is the one time that the Rider actually bothers to get out of the way, leaning and shuffling to the side like a proper undead as her last ditch punch completely misses the mark. As she drops to the floor and loses the Gashat, there's a large holographic message that appears over the Gear user as a sad jingle and voice announce:

     GAME OVER!

Genm's previously lost composure seems to have returned, as he cooly walks on over to the downed Hibiki. He  stares at her through the cracked visor on his helmet, his head tilting as if in thought.

If he was thinking, he didn't do it for long, though, as not long after he steps on her outstretched hand, grinding the heel of his armored boot into it as he bends over to pick up the Gashat.

"I thank you for beta testing, but you're not needed anymore. Please look forward to the full release. "

He stops grinding his heel into Hibiki's hand only to give her one last final kick, flipping her over so that she's on her back, before finally stepping over her and leaving.

Hibiki Tachibana     Hibiki had just barely began trying to pull herself forward a bit more, still going for the Gashat...until she lets out a yelp of pain, wrist ground down into the dirt by the Kamen Rider's boot. Even then, her fingers still try to close a distance that they'd realistically never manage...

Until she's unceremoniously punted over, ending up spread-eagled on the ground and unable to move a muscle. "W-...Wait...give that...back..." Gritting her teeth, she does her best to force herself up...just to fall back down and let out a final groan, no energy left to keep trying to force herself past her limit.

Full release...she doesn't like the sound of that. Not one bit. She'll probably realize just how hard she had gotten set up later, but for now, there's nothing to do but curse under her breath at how badly she had gotten trounced.

"Game Master...and that health bar...what the hell...?"
