Owner Pose
Stanley Padgett     The house where Coach Boucher is supposed to live, but is apparently now the house of.... What's his name... the guy from the game? Stanley never did find a proper copy of the manual, just a bunch of old READMEs and walkthroughs on the Old Internet. Dirk Hammerface. Him.
He didn't actually come via the Velvet Room today, either. He has a NEW SUPERPOWER.

    Dad with car.

"...looks pretty quiet. Do we just... go knock on the door? I've never done this before." Stanley rubs his hand on his shirt, getting salt and pepper from his bag of chips on the sports jersey.
Caelan Stuart "That all depends on how long it takes for our stakehout target to actually leave his house," Caelan says from around half an ITALIAN SUB. "If he takes longer than we take to eat, then we're officially loitering, and that starts being a problem." He's technically parked in a two hour spot right now, but cop senses seem to be active. But more importantly--

Caelan doesn't want to be a damn hypocrite after what happened the other day.

"That said, I do have a good reason to go up there. I've got... forms." Not like, as in transformtions or anything. But there are a few sheefs of paper labeled UNIFORM REQUISITIONS and FIELD TRIP SIGNUP FORMS on the dash. Paperwork, in other words, that a concerned father might bring to his daughter's lacrosse coach. "So worst case, I can knock."
Charlotte Newman     Charlotte has tagged along, though she is understandably in the back seat. She's also not paying particular attention to the house like the boys up front.

"Loitering is just a thing someone invented to keep teens from hanging out in popular spots," she comments without looking up from her phone.

She's flipping through the photos pilfered from Ms Agatha Salem's phone, now that she's had enough downtime to actually do so. Checking for any fellow students who show up, adding them to a list in her notepad app as someone worth taking a second look at later.
Shotaro Hidari "That would be your best bet, honestly," Shotaro says, leaning on his motorcycle.  When did he get here?  You don't know, but a Kamen Rider is always there when he is needed.  He's holding his hat in his hands, even though it's placed still firmly on his hair as he considers something.  Either he's deep in thought, or attempting to look cool.

Or both.

"You can use this time to try and get information from him, something only a fellow guy and concerned father can get from a man like this.  It might give us some clues into what is going on if we have more information on how they think and feel...or what they might remember."

"Loitering is a lot darker than that, by the by, but that isn't important now," he says, looking from Caelan to Charlotte and then back again.  "Detective, if you can hold that conversation, I can see what I can find on my end.  Anything you can find might be able to help me narrow things down as well."
Kukuru Coordinates are given and Kukuru, like always, just shows up. She's actually made sure to teleport into an alley rather than directly onto the roof this time, at least, but her horns are still fully visible even through her giant anime-green hair. She's also got her blouse and dress combo that doesn't look anything like what a modern person would wear in most cases, either, but...

Well, it's not like she's tried all that hard to blend in before. It just might not help anyone else much when she just walks right up to the car and motorcycle combo to lean into the window with a thoughtful look on her face and a tired yawn coming out of it.

"What are the chances he even knows what's going on? Maybe we could just ask him what he knows, and then that might even get us a new person to rely on with all this stuff going on." She suggests with an airy chuckle, pushing off the car gently* before looking right at Big Jawman's house. "What's the worst that could happen compared to just hanging around out here?"
Kukuru *Gently means 'somehow still enough to shake the car a bit'.
Stanley Padgett     There's quite a few pictures in that phone of course... all of them with Agatha and her newfound students... all happy and smiles...

But someone has been lurking in the back of them. And charlotte has to go back and check every so often to make sure she's not seeing things. A mousy girl, maybe a sophomore, who's lurking behind Ms Salem in... at least a quarter of these shot.

Stnaley huffs a bit as everyone gives opinions, and does his best to THink Think in JPRG Hero fashion. A grumble, and he gets up to hand the DOCUMENTS on the dashboard to Caelan, and smiles. 'Yeah, I think... maybe not coming at this like a cop is the best option." A look to Shotaro and then Charlotte. "YOu guys going to sneak around back or somet-"

And then Kukuru JOSTLES the car, and Stanley has to grab the handhold. "Woah, careful there."
Caelan Stuart "Careful with the car," Caelan cautions with all the mild panic of an adult who is not sure whether 'elite action' is covered by his auto insurance. "The shocks ain't what they used to be, and the last thing I need is for a spring to break or something."

This is the car he uses to get to work! What would he do if it broke down!? COMMUTE!? This is AMERICA!!

"Alright," he nods Shotaro-ward and gathers up his papers. "Stanley, let's see what we can find out," Caelan pushes the driver's side door open and dusts off what's left of his sandwich (figuratively AND literally) before making his way up to the door of the person who is Not His Daughter's Coach.

The doorbell is pushed once Stanley is in position. Now all that's left is to wait.
Charlotte Newman     Charlotte's limbs kind of shoot out like a spider to steady herself when the car rumbles and she lets out a squawk of surprise from how she had been sprawled across the back seat. She still hasn't gotten used to how strong Kukuru actually is.

"I'll look it up sometime," is her response to Shotaro, "That was mostly just a guess. Knowing this place..." She glances back down at her phone, "I've got a few guesses as to what you mean." A hand raises as Caelan disembarks, and she adds on, "I'll stay here for now, there's a bunch of photos to review here. Text me if you need me, though."

The shy face tucked in the back didn't go unnoticed, though she assumes at first that girl was just a coincidence. Perhaps a dozen pictures later, though, Charlotte is a lot less certain of that conclusion.

After a few more, she taps the screen and zooms in on the face, squinting, drawing the phone closer, "...Who IS that?" Even in the shots where the face is reasonably visible, it's just not a person Charlotte recognizes, "Does she go to our school? I think that's the trophy case in the main hall..."

Now she's fixated on finding the best possible shot of this background lurker.
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro looks over Charlotte's shoulder, making a face.  "Looks important, you should look into that," He says, before laughing slightly at Kukuru's messing with the car.  "Could always get a new one, they pay you American cops really well, right?" he asks.

While Caelan and Stanley do things the direct way, Shotaro does things the private eye way.  He walks around the building to the back door to see if he can slip in.  Once inside, he'll start looking around.  Family pictures, a phone laying out, something like that.

Also any other interesting clues he could find.
Kukuru "Aw, okay. But if your job as a policeman doesn't cover repairs, or if you're not getting paid enough..." Spotting a recruitment opportunity, Kukuru smoothly reaches into a pocket, slips out a business card bearing her name and some contact info (including the one for the Concord's recruiting offices), and slides it right into Caelan's pocket.

It's probably one of the few or only times anyone here might have seen her move smoothly.

"I'll keep an eye on Stanley, then. He'll have an easier time sneaking around without worrying about me going in, and I can still see if there's anyone weird coming down the street." Kukuru recommends, already looking higher for better vantage points around the house. "Oh, but let me know if anything happens inside, and I'll be in there in a second. Or outside, if there's anyone coming from somewhere else." She gives Caelan, Charlotte, Shotar, and Stanley a reassuring grin and pats on the cheek, then...

She sees it. It might be a treehouse a few houses away, a regular tree, or even a roof with good view of the former lacrosse teacher's home. Whatever it is, Kukuru slips into a cloud and reappears right on top of that new vantage point, using her funky super vision to keep a close eye on Stanley and his surroundings.
Stanley Padgett     THE DIES IS CAST THE SCENE IS SET AND EVERYONE IS IN THEIR PLACES!

Charlotte, that face... it's nagging at you, you've been her before. Like, you KNOW her, somehow.
It's not the yearbook that you spot her, but a picture from one of the IRL Reversal meet up groups. She's in a clan called Moe Moe Kyuun, and her name is... Chastity Miller.
It's the username that catches though. "magiklife4eva" She's...
She's the only one Charlotte knows who bids on Witch Girl drops.

Stanley and Caelan move up to the front door of the house , and KNOCK ON THE DOOR. A booming male voice calls out. "I got it, don't worry!" Wait, who's he talking too? Ms Boucher's.... single.
The door opens and there, 6'3" and huge and pec-y and GLORIOUS is PORK ROCKFACE. Maybe, you'll get the name right one of these times. "Oh! HELLO!" His beaming, chiseled face breaks wide into cheery elation. "Guests! What can I do for you today?" He doesn't quite recognize either of these people.

Kukuru: That vantage point is GOOD. It's a good lookout. Gives you lots of room, lots of space to stretch out if you have to. It's no wonder there's signs that someone else has been up here. At least long enough to leave chewed bubble gum and hot dog wrappers up here. Hmmm.

Shotaro: The Detective pops open the back door and sneaks inside to find a house. It's.... It's a house. There's lots of stuff. Lots of new furniture and luggage and fresh moving boxes...
You ALSO run into a lady, making her way down the stairs into the living room. "Who is it, baby~?" You haven't been noticed yet, Mr. Rider, but... this lady fits the description for Audrey Boucher. 5'10", well built, short hair, brunette. A tattoo on her neck of roller blades. Looks right.
She hasn't spotted the Rider. Yet.
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro gets through the first hurdle...but the second causes him to pause.  He ducks down, hiding behind something large enough to obscure him before listening.  He switches to his phone, to text Charlotte.

Second person in the house.  A large man at door, the coach is coming down to him.  Going upstairs for clues in a second.  Moving boxes are about.  Referred to large man as 'Honey.'

The moment she is gone, he sneaks around upstairs.  The first thing is trying to determine whether are they packing or unpacking.  The second is looking for any more clues.
Caelan Stuart That.

Is a face that Caelan last saw something like twenty, twenty five years ago when he was a wee lad gushing over the box of his hit new 16 bit game from the neighborhood Video Barn. That is absolutely, one hundred percent Mulch Maxpower. Or was it Chad Thunderfist??? God, Caelan thinks for a fraction of a second, I hate getting old.

And then he thinks better of making any sort of wishes in the heat of the moment and focuses on the here and now. Wishes are dangerous things in Lampport.

"Good morning, sir. Caelan Stuart, Alice Stuart's father," Caelan says with a genial smile. "Sorry, my little girl's on the Lacrosse team and forgot to drop off a few papers this past week. I know the due date's technically past for one of these, but she's really looking forward to the trip out to the Blackmountain Observatory with the rest of the team. I don't suppose Coach Audrey is in so we can hash things out, mister...?"

He knows this man's name.

It's just that he knows like a dozen of these men, and they all kind of blur together after the tenth beat 'em up.
Kukuru The signs of someone else being here at some point don't strike Kukuru as too odd. After all, kids like hanging out on roofs all the time! Treehouses, too, although her own experience was less house and more tree, but that suited her just fine back in the day. Now...

It's still a nice spot to catch a nap. She's rather tempted to, even, when she sees that Shotaro's actually going to be the one handling the sneaking today, although something finally occurs to her as she sees him slip inside...

She doesn't actually know who Shotaro is. He does report in about what he's seeing, though, so her concerns aren't raised too high just yet. Instead, her focus goes right back to the garbage strewn about. Come to think of it, how many human kids actually come up this far these days? She's ran into her fair share of overprotective parents before, but for a space this size...

It'd have to be someone at least as old as the kids she came here with. "I've got food wrappers up here, but the space is too big for one little kid. Unless they've got a bunch of kids here..."

She trails off and picks up a wrapper, then sniffs to try and guess if it's a fresh wrapper or stale/sour. Once she's done, she uses that same wrapper to squeeze some of that gum, again to guess how fresh it is.
Charlotte Newman     The girl rolls this over in her head so many times before she finally comes across a picture that's at just the right angle to spark recognition. She almost shouts in surprise when she finds it, though manages just a gasp instead after catching herself.

That's *right*. Chastity. The girl she shared Witch Girl tips with at Beanie's a few weeks before Christmas. The only person Charlotte recalls ever meeting who, like herself, is trying to find ways to make the gimmick character work in the game.

She stars that picture so it'll be easier to find later, then hops apps to the Reversal game itself. Most of her Friends List are people she's never met or communicated with, but Magiklife4eva is right there. She checks online status... then sends that user a direct message.

CNewman> Hey you busy?
CNewman> I had a quick question
CNewman> Are you taking chem this semester?
CNewman> Doesn't Ms Salem look just like OLWG?
CNewman> I almost want to ask if she's into cosplay
CNewman> Might be pretty cool
Stanley Padgett     Stanley is quietly taking pictures of the inside of the house, as Caelan engages in PARENTAL INTERACTIONS with a teacher. The Meatman has to stop and consider things as Caelan mentions the name of his daughter... and then recognition lights up the man's face. He's not stupid, it just takes a bit for him to get there. "Oh! Right, Alice! Gosh, I hope everyone still doing alright, I know that the ....Incident has people shaken up." He nods knowingly at Caelan, and then peeks at Stanley. "This your son?"
Stanley blinks, and then stammers. "N-no I'm sSt-a-tan.."

Ms Boucher slides over towards CRAG MANFLINT, and smooches his cheek. The big guy laughs. "Did you hear that honey, now YOU'RE the Coach! HAH!" The tall blonde rolls her eyes. "I'm VERY happy doing the other gig, thanks." She does smile at Caelan and Stan, though, and hmmms. "I gotta get ready for sets." And then she's heading into another room, where workout equipment can be seen.
MEATMAN smiles. "She's one of those fancy internet personal trainers. Very expensive. I'm lucky to have found her!"

SHOTARO: Your examination of the space is thorough. The pictures on the walls are right. The house is... well the bathroom is single vanity but it looks like they use a bunch of the same products so that works out. A peek into the bedroom shows... adventurous materials. Let's leave it at that. But the moving boxes appear to be for.... the Big Man. Unless they BOTH are bulk ordering protein shakes and workout equipment.

Kukuru: The gum is a day old, maybe. Sour. The rest of the flavors are out of the chew so all that's left is JUST the sour. But someone was recently up here. Other smells include lilac shampoo, some sort of... *sniff* deodorant spray? Ladies variety. a girl was up here, lurking on the house ya'll are checking out. Hmmmm.

    CHARLOTTE:

The chat bubble starts responding and stops responding as magiklife4eva is typing...

> who is this
> how did u get my contact
> Magiklife4eva is typing...

She leaves you on read, after the direct question on OLWG. And then goes offline.
Charlotte Newman     She didn't expect such a fast response, but already thumbs out an answer.

CNewman> Oh we met at Beanies a while back during a meetup
CNewman> I'm Charlotte
CNewman> We chatted about WG builds the whole time

The lack of any response, however, is concerning. One might assume this girl has something to do with the incident, but Charlotte's bigger concern is if she spooked someone with sudden messages out of nowhere. Her brow knits and she murmurs, "Did I come out too strong?"

After a moment she knocks out another message.

CNewman> Sorry I got too excited
CNewman> Can I make it up to you?

She flips over to her texting app, reviewing what Shotaro sent her. Her brow knits again. Large man, 'honey'... Did coach Boucher find someone, then? Moving boxes would line up with that, too. Things aren't quite connecting the way she would expect them to, but it is making a lot more sense than... say, Labor Day taking place 3 days after Labor Day.
Kukuru Something about the smell doesn't sit quite right with Kukuru. Setting the wrappers aside and keeping her hands far away from the gum, she sniffs the air again to get a whiff of that deodorant, that shampoo, and then she leans over the side of the house. She could understand children getting up where they aren't supposed to be, and perhaps even people servicing the roof would belong up here, but those smells and those wrappers...

They don't match her idea of a child or a roof tiler at all. It's time to correspond with the rest of the crew! Or the ones closest to Coach(?) Boucher, anyway, even if it's a long shot.

"Cae-lan. Stan-ley. Does she smell flowery? Liiiike..."
She pauses to sniff the air again while lying back down. No sense sitting up and getting tense when she does't need to, after all.
"... Flowery, vanilla-y, sweet? Like lilacs? Someone's been up here and left lots of garbage around, and I don't think it was a kid. It smelled like someone mmm... Older than that."
Caelan Stuart This... person rememebers The Incident? No, that makes sense. The way wishes work, this video game character was likely created as if he had always been here. So it only makes sense that he would remember. Caelan's poker face still cracks ever so slightly but it's the kind of emotional response that can be waved away as a father still feeling a fresh wound. "She's doing better now, thank you for your concern. As a father, I can't help but think I failed her by letting her in harm's way, but the only thing we can do is keep going. And she's handling it beter with some help from kids closer to her age."

He gestures towards Stanley, "This is Stanley, a friend of my daughter's. I guess you could say he's like a son to me. He came along with me for some errands today." THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SAVE A MAN'S DAUGHTER, STANLEY PADGETT. Welcome to the family!?

But speaking of family, it seems... that the woman they're looking for is... married. Caelan definitely recognizes /her./ Could it be that she's the one who made this wish...?

No. Coach Audrey never struck as the gaming type.

"You're a lucky guy," he says to the Cartoon Coach instead. There's a note of genuinity to that, as if communicating that he's someone who /has/ loved and lost. Catastrophically. So he changes the subject. "You two got any kids of your own? I can imagine they'd be quite the athletes."
Stanley Padgett     A big meaty hand claps on Caelan's shoulder. "Listen, that's something we ALL take responsibility for. We /are/ the village raising the children. I'm only sad I wasn't there to help out." It only sounds *slightly* comical coming out of the Coach, his boisterous delivery not changing too much for the serious statement.
The big guy DOES look down to Stanley though, and gives him a thumbs up. "Mr. Padgett. I hear things about you. Our own famous extraversal traveler, huh? Rumor has it you're from WAY out of town." A wink. Stanley swallows a bit, and huffs. "No just... from all over, I guess. But I AM from this world." He rubs at his arm slightly...

Ms. Boucher leans her head out of the door to her workout room at the mention of children. "No, and god willing not for a while. No offense, I enjoy working with them, but I'd be an AWFUL mother. I have... WE have way too much fun without them."
The Meatman stays stoic, but there's a smug aura about him. Hmmmm.

Shotaro: nothing in this place screams 'these people wear lilac and vanilla.' Maybe in the fabrics, but no, this seems like a 'spring rain' or 'macho body wash' household. There's a distinct lack of flowery scents. What there IS, however, is a loose cell phone in the kitchen. The shell marks it as probably Audrey's.

Kukuru: Sniff sniff. Sniff. The trail of flowery scent-y stuff slips out of the tree house and down towards the road, if one was to follow it. Another gum wrapper down here at the base of the tree, some footprints, fresh that aren't yours. Small, petite. Teenager sized. And also bicycle tracks that push through fresh winter mud off into the distance.
Stanley Padgett     > Magiklife4eva has blocked you.

And then alerts start to go off on Charlotte's Reversals Trade Board notifications. Magiklife4eva is frantically trying to dump off their collection of Witch Girl drops. All of them. She's divesting herself of the account, looks like. Hmmmmm.

Charlotte Newman     Blocked? No, that can't be right. The girl squints at her screen, lost in thought. It's the notification of sellables she has on her watchlist that snaps her out of it, numbly switching screens and-- staring.

What Charlotte had initially worried might have been a social faux pas has become outright suspicion. There's no way the girl she met would sell these items willingly. She opens up a storage box, labels it 'Safe', and purchases what she can. The most precious and irreplacable things first, tucked into that storage. She'll return them later.

It's at this point that the girl exits Caelan's car, meandering up the sidewalk to meet with the boys-- though still distracted by her phone trying to rescue a prospective friend's inventory.
Kukuru A lead! Although Kukuru's still not sure where this is going to take her, it's enough to keep her suspicions raised as she makes up her mind to follow it. After glancing around briefly to check that the coast is clear, she drops out of the treehouse unceremoniously, then starts nonchalantly following the trail.

Thankfully, she doesn't have to try very hard to look nonchalant about her investigation at all. Her sense of smell is good enough that she doesn't need to get her nose right in those wrappers, after all, and her vision lets her just stay upright while following the footprints!

The horns are still kind of unsubtle, though, and being lazy is also a potential wrench in things. Why? Because when the coast looks clear again, she'll start following those footprints (and then bicycle tracks) through teleportation clouds instead of actively walking the entire way.
Shotaro Hidari Mm.  Moving in, she's no longer the teacher; instead, he is.  He wonders if something similar to this hasn't actually happened to the 'missing' teacher.  The search doesn't turn up anything besides the mundane.

Other than the fact that someone that large should already have his own workout equipment.

Before he leaves, he checks something.  Invoices for the equipment and shakes, and then spots the phone.  He takes it and places the beetle phone onto it so it can take out the data it needs to and he can go over it later on...not in here.
Caelan Stuart So there's a limit to how much a wish can do. Or maybe it's that it can't easily affect persona users, so it has to... work around them, somehow. Or maybe he just wasn't there that day. "It's alright, we can't be everywhere all the time, not even for our kids. No matter how much we might want to be," Caelan answers with a nod.

Speaking of kids, they don't... /have/ any. But that's also not entirely unexpected. Caelan's not sure how /that/ would even work.

It's clear that /someone/ remembers /something/ though. Just. Uh. Not something Caelan will bring up in polite company around kids.

And then there's a Charlotte. It's fine! Caelan has an excuse for this one too! "Ah, that's another of my sister's friends. Charlotte has taken Alice under her wing after the incident. After my wife passed, my daughter's been bereft of many good role models, so I'm glad that she's been so willing to help out."

"I certainly don't want her taking too much after her old man," Caelan says with a wry smile, "I don't think there's enough room in this world for two of me."
Stanley Padgett     KUKURU: The bike trail wheedles off into the murk of suburbia, across yards and through snowbanks. Someone was trying to make a get away here and didn't care what sort of trail they left. That is, until they get to a bus stop, and there the trail ends. Must have gotten on the bus there and rode wherever. But...
Sniff sniff. There on the snow, getting trampled on, is a cell phone charm, of a cute petite lady wearing witches robes and showing a lot of thigh.

SHOTARO: That cell phone will be a wealth of data, probably, once you get out of the house. Even as you can hear Ms. Boucher starting up her class in the weight room. "Alright, everyone! Time to get up and on those mats~ we've got some BURNING to do, who's READY?"

NATE PORKCHUNK smiles at Caelan and Stanley, and then Charlotte as well. "Nice to meet both of you in person, actually. Especially Miss Newman. You're an up and comer! Keep those grades up and you'll go far!" Though... the clarion call of his new partner getting sweaty is distracting the Coach, and he coughs. "Right, well. I've got papers to go through now, and I'll get back to you, Mr. Stuart, alright. We'll make sure Alice is ready to go on that field trip. That'll be real good for the teams to regroup and recharge after some badness."
He smiles, and claps on the doorjamb as a farewell, and the door closes... And then there's laughter in the house, along with GETTING SWEATY AND SWOLE.
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro swings around the house, taking his time and making sure he won't be easily seen.  By the time the group breaks up from the front of the house, he's already leaning on his bike and flipping through information on the beetle phone.

He's breathing /just/ a bit heavily, as if he dashed to be here in this position before they could see him.
Caelan Stuart "Right, thanks for your time, coach. I'll leave you to it." The door closes, Caelan gives the kids a smile and a nod and leads them a safe distance from the door. But as he goes-- "Shotaro, Kukuru, are you clear of the house? The target is heading back in for... Private things."

SURE, GETTING SWEATY AND SWOLE.

Caelan's sure /something/ is sure getting swole.

"So, you kids notice anything?" Caelan asks, making his way back towards his car.
Kukuru It's a good thing Kukuru can teleport, because she'd be much too lazy to actually follow this trail on foot through so much snow and other people's property. Initially, she's about to leave the bus stop when the trail goes cold, but she spots the cell phone charm out of the corner of her eye and takes note of all that thigh.

"So this is what's popular these days.... Hmm." She furrows her brow disapprovingly as she looks the charm over, turning it over this way and that before finally making a connection between what she's heard before.

<J-IC-Scene> Kukuru says, "Witch... Ohhh, did she look like this?"
She waves the charm in front of her phone, then goes right back to speaking.
<J-IC-Scene> Kukuru says, "I'm at a bus stop!"

She'll figure it out eventually. Shotaro calling it out helps, and she takes a solid minute to finally remember how to take a picture and attach an image, but soon everyone's getting the image of the witchy lady cell phone charm sent to their phones (with her thumb inconspicuously covering all that thigh).
Charlotte Newman     "Eh?" Hearing her name drags Charlotte off her phone, staring up at CHUNK STUNTMAN with a deer-in-headlights sort of look. It lasts a few seconds, long enough for her to process this meat mountain's presence and also what he said, "--Um, yeah. Thank you." He gets a curt nod out of her, "I've come this far, I don't intend to slow down."

He does seem, at a glance, to be a genuine good guy. No red flags seemed to be raised in the chatter, either. She mulls this over along with her encounters with Ms Agatha Salem. Neither of them seems particularly..threatening? And even seem to be good additions to the community. At least on the surface. She can't discard the idea that there might just be something the crew hasn't uncovered yet.

However, RUST ROUGHBODY has things and people to do, so Charlotte excuses herself with a little tip at the waist, returning to her phone as she turns away to keep pace with Mr Stuart and Stanley, "Chastity. I met her at a Reversal meetup a few weeks ago. Really shy, but had a lot of neat ideas for fielding the Witch Girl character."

"I just remembered her now and tried messaging her, since we friended each other, but..." The look on her face suggests it didn't go well.

"I want to apologize to her," Charlotte states after a quiet moment, "I...think I scared her, I didn't mean to."
Shotaro Hidari "Then we should go find her," Shotaro says to Charlotte and tosses her his other helmet. "We'll catch her faster on this. I can leave my phone with Stanley to sift through the data."
Stanley Padgett     "Well, I can safely say this was.... a pretty good stakeout?" Stanley checks his phone, and then looks up at the house, and then back at his phone. And then back at the house.

"...oh, why didn't I think of this before."

He presses the Reversal app, and vanishes.
Charlotte Newman     Still looking at her phone, the helmet-toss catches Charlotte completely off guard. It hits her chest and she lets out Quite A Noise, fumbling with the helmet and her phone-- and somehow managing to avoid dropping either of them.

'We'll catch her faster on this'

"Wait, was she here?" And then Stanley disappears into the Reversal, prompting her to blurt out, "Stanley--?!"

Shifting the helmet to one arm, she flips through her still-open Reversal app and pulls apart a glitch-lined portal for the others to Slide Sideways through. She's a bit unhappy that she didn't think about this, either-- and she even had the game open..!
Caelan Stuart Caelan scratches the back of his head as various people begin disappearing into The Reversal.

"Right. I'm just going to drive home, then. Don't want to get towed for leaving my car out in front of someone's house," Caelan shrugs and hops into his old jalopy. Time to go home......??
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro just drives into the Reversal with Charlotte.

The Bike always comes with a Kamen Rider.
Stanley Padgett     And as Shotaro, Charlotte and Stanley resolve in the Reversal... the Neon and Smoke and Glitches have been replaced...

It is a bright sunny day, but there's no sun out. Well, there IS a sun, but is a static object in the sky, that's just... there, not casting any actual light. Also, this is the suburbs, but everything's a bit... off. Polygonal. Vertexed. 64-bit.
