Stanley Padgett     Hey there, this is (redacted) and welcome to Let's Play It Out, where today we're playing Factory Planet on the Silver Springs map, let's see what we can get up to today, huh?

Stanley is standing in the teacher's parking lot, waiting for others to arrive, as he takes pictures of the sprawling mess of tubes, conveyors, pipes, conveyors, gantries, conveyors, and conveyors. Piles of craftable materials are strewn all over the parking lot, ostensibly in a stock pile, but little robots keep picking up the piles and moving them around, seemingly at random.

Next to Stanley, is a pin-up model version of a high school chemistry teacher, calmly sitting on a floating broom. It is not a fantastical witch's broom, it is an industrial push broom. "Mr. Padgett, I hope you're not actually thinking of climbing all of that. It's not safe! I told the Professor that he REALLY needed to put up some... rails or lights or something."
Stanley Padgett     The lady next to him is Agatha Salem. She's the Chemistry Teacher. Hair? A lovely shade of grey and PRISTINE. Her smart looking lab coat that she's still wearing for some reason? SPOTLESS. Her smart tie and vest underneath? CRISP. The sensible flats? STYLISH.
    The Broom? OSHA APPROVED.
Kukuru After hearing that trouble's sprung up again, Kukuru has somehow found herself at Silver Springs once again. Once again, she's dressed in her usual white and green with those horns just there for the staring and the eye gouging, and she looks about as sleepy as...

Actually, she looks pretty awake today. Her steps have slowed down considerably on the way to the parking lot as she just stares at the mess of automation, tilting her head this way and that every so often as she slowly makes sense of the pile of parts in front of her. By the time she reaches Stanley and the floating chemistry teacher, she looks awestruck by it all.

"Neeeeeat... Oh, this is just like those monkey bars I used to hear so much about. And it's even moving on it's own. How comfy..." She sounds like she's trying to reassure them, of all things she could be doing. "And they must be building some kind of neat stuff with all that... Stuff up there, right? This one should be okay to leave alone."
Shotaro Hidari The sound of a motorcycle can be heard as Shotaro arrives thanks to Stanley's directions.  His eyes were already taken towards the massive band of factory parts seemingly wrapping up into the sky, and the various other oddities around.  Already he's pulling out his phone and sending pictures of this to his partner, perhaps Philip can get a keyword out of this they need to help crack the case.

Helmet off and walking towards the group he places the beetle phone away and speaks calmly and assuredly.  Even to a woman sitting on a flying industrial broom.  "Don't worry, Ms. Salem, he'll be in good hands...besides its appearance is more dangerous than anything.  Someone is going to have to go up there eventually."

"Besides I will escort him up there, as his boss this shouldn't be a reason for concern."
Remee Halcyon Here's Remee, arriving via a rideshare. She's not openly carrying her rifle, but her shoulder-slung tote bag undoubtedly has one or more weapons in it.

"... All of this?" she asks, looking up at the sprawling ediface. "And we're going up there?"

"... You sure? I can survive the fall pretty easily, but some of the rest of you..."
Charlotte Newman     Charlotte is both Already Here and not Actually Here.

That is to say while she is present within the grounds of Silver Springs, she is not in the parking lot with Stanley. At some point when students were leaving, she got hemmed in by the figurative spaghetti of a conveyor belt system and has spent the past hour or so sitting on the edge of one, watching processed copper ingots move painfully, painfully slowly past her. The tangle is too dense to move through.

And she dropped her phone shortly after uploading a picture for everyone.

It's only now, due to the way the ~~psycho~~ genius engineer arranged his beltwork, that her phone creeps close enough for her to snatch it up again.

Charlotte wastes no time in tearing a glitch-lined portal into the Reversal and escaping this noodly hell of automation. At the very least she can report on what the Other Side looks like in this mess.
Stanley Padgett     CHARLOTTE: The Reversal of Silver Springs looks like it usually does, with the bleak industrial obsidian walls and the neon row lighting. There's also ribbons of energy in the air, and the minion Shadows that usually mill around in the halls are being swung wildly around in those trails of aether. Probably shouldn't stick your head in there.
Stanley Padgett     Oh, hey, it looks like there are still some students down there that I can educate! Let's hope this all works well. Wheeeeeee~

Stanley waves at the arrivals, and ohs. "Everyone, this is Agatha Salem. Ms. Salem, these are my friends from off-world."
Agatha does a little twirl on her broom, and there's a musical twinkle in the air like someone just selected a character on a select screen. "It's nice to meet all of you~"

Stanley coughs, and looks up at the mess of everything. At the tippy top, the person in the drab prefab green space suit seems to be busy building a new, seemingly unsupported, track of conveyor belts. "Professor..." Stanley sighs. "...Professor Fixits..." The name grinds out of his mouth like he wants to cringe into the earth. "...hasn't come down. So, yeah, we're going up." Stanley picks one of the upward-leading return conveyors, one that's carrying pieces of crushed-up cars, and starts traveling upwards.
Agatha humms, and just paces everyone with her broom, primping at her hair as she climbs in altitude.
Remee Halcyon "Professor Fixits being one of the... new teachers," says Remee. "Right."

She goes to follow Stanley, climbing up onto the conveyor just behind him, and from there perching on one of the crushed-up car chunks to get a bit more altitude.

Her eyes scan skyward, tracking the robots, perhaps a bit distrustfully, and then up to the professor at the top.

"I could probably get his attention pretty easily," she suggests.
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro gives a side-eye to Remee when she suggests she has the plan to get his attention very easily. Shotaro considers this, but also remembers his time in the Watch. However, some part of him also wants to see how cool this will turn out...so instead of climbing anything just nods and waits.

"By all means, go ahead."
Kukuru "Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine. Kids gotta learn to fall right so they don't get hurt, anyway. They'll be okay." Kukuru tries reassuring Agatha as well, albeit in the completely wrong way compared to how Shotaro does it. She even gestures at Remee as though she might be proving her point. "Yeah, Remee's got the right idea. Nobody's gonna get hurt too badly as long as we're around."

Charlotte, luckily, gets to escape Kukuru trying to use her as an example of how this deathtrap is totally safe and secure.

Kukuru also does a light twirl not unlike Agatha's, although hers doesn't come with any kind of audio jingle. "Nice to see you again, Aggy~" Somehow, she's remembered their first meeting in the teacher's lounge!

Looking back up at the teacher doing all this building work, Kukuru strokes her chin lightly as she lingers behind the group. Instead of going up with them, she just stays where she is, waiting a little while to figure out sight lines and the like before falling backwards into an evil-looking cloud, then reappearing from another one and landing on a conveyor belt headed towards Professor Fixits that's not too far from where he's hard at work.

It also happens to be right when he's facing another direction during track creation, so it's not in violation of any Director spawning rules. She doesn't even announce her presence right away, either, just laying sideways across the track to settle into a comfortable napping position. Surely, she's planning on crossing his line of sight to...

... No, she's just testing a napping spot that happens to take her across his direct line of sight. Kukuru even covers her mouth as she yawns, then crosses her arms behind her head before blinking groggily at the suited professor. "How long did this take...?"
Remee Halcyon "Great, okay, watch your heads..."

Remee reaches into her tote bag, and pulls out her rifle parts, quickly getting them reassembled and then the resulting hunting rifle loaded and cocked.

From her perch on the car on the conveyor, she takes aim, sighting down the rifle, or rather sighting up towards the professor... and from there to the conveyor belt he's in the process of building, at about the center point of its length and width.

"Adjust a little for the height, check the wind, aim for the rivets..."

And then there's the incantation, which isn't strictly necessary, but helps her to focus her intangibly narrative qualities to make the changes she wants to see in the world.

Remee takes a breath, and speaks. "And then I'll huff, and I'll puff..."

*BANG!*
Charlotte Newman     Emerging into the black and neon surroundings of the Reversal, Charlotte takes a moment to ascertain her surroundings and herself. She brushes off metal shavings that had accumulated on her jacket and skirt during her time in exile, then glances up and down the familiar halls of the Reverse of Silver Springs.

It is, to her relief, much less crowded. The shadows getting shoved around by energy ribbons gets a bit of a stare though. It's unclear to her whether or not this is related to what Mr Fixits is doing on the Real side of things.

She tucks some errant strands of hair behind her ear, glancing back down at her phone in her other hand. It's switched to a low-fidelity map of her surroundings, crafted from previous visits. If Stanley, Kukuru, and that motercycle detective are all climbing, maybe she can climb on this side and cross back over to meet up with them there.

She glances back at the energy ribbons tossing Shadows around, then the other direction. Her bat is pulled off her purse's strap, swung up to rest over her shoulder. No one ever said climbing a tower by cutting through Reversal space was cheating!
Stanley Padgett     Oh, that wasn't supposed to happen! Please, Ms. Wolfe, don't shoot my conveyors!

The shot connects just the way it's supposed to, and the section of conveyor disconnects from the rest... and the whole rig starts to float towards the ground in starts and stops... glitching on the way down. Actually, the whole RIG is glitching now that there's stuff happening to it that's not supposed to be happening. Like the framerate is tanking or something.

But fall it does, and the man in the space suit disconnects from his Apparatus, and comes floating down on his jetpack. Hey there, what's the matter? I was just putting a new section out there and one of you SHOT it. That's very rude you know. The words don't come from the man in the suit, but rather... it's like a voice over dubbed around them. Something oddly smug about the voice too.
He points at Remee, and up close like this, that Silver Springs teacher's lanyard bobbles against his chest. Prof. Conway Fixits. Huh. You know, this school is a weapon free zone, I ought to tell someone about that.

Stanley is just getting his footing on the glitching equipment, when it all stalls to a halt. Prof Fixits glances into the mess. Oh, something broke in there, I'll have to go and kick the generator or something. Hiya, Agatha!

Agatha waves cheerily back at Conway, and makes another of the musical stings with her response. "It's always lovely to see you, how's the husband?"
Teddy's doing great, he's off in Florida doing his 'kill all the lionfish' thing. SOMEONE'S gotta get rid of all those invasives.
Stanley Padgett     Stanley sighs, and then looks down at the 40 feet or so of air between him and the pavement below. "What the hell is all this? How did you do all of this in a day?"

TECHNICALLY it's only been about 7 hours to get to tier 2 manufacturing. That's a new record for me! That black shell space suit mask is somehow INCREDIBLY smug about this.
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro moves to stand in front of Prof. Conway Fixits.  He holds onto his hat, and for a moment the wind just whips perfectly around him to give him that dramatic look.  It's likely an aftershock from Remee's gun.  Yes, he calculated the timing, no you can't know how he knows the timing with nothing more than mental math.  Just know that he in fact agonized over it for the few seconds he had.

"I am Shotaro Hidari, and I am here on behalf of the contractor to let you know that your paperwork did not go through and that your building here is both premature, and illegal.  I am going to ask you to take it down, carefully, and to report to city hall, room thirty-two, A03.  Once there you need to file an appeal using form 34b1.  After that, wait four to six weeks for the paperwork to be /officially/ approved this time."

"If you do this, we can overlook this incident without a fine.  I would also ask you to return anything that isn't part of your equipment to its owners."
Remee Halcyon > You know, this school is a weapon free zone, I ought to tell someone about that.

"Maybe you should," says Remee neutrally.

"... More importantly! I think you're not going to worry about the conveyor in a bit? Because..."

"I'm talking to the person who made the wish, right? You wanted something to do with video games? Well, if so..."

She reaches into her tote bag, and pulls out several bank-banded wads of high-denomination bills. "Here. This'll get you an apartment, and the best gaming rig money can buy you in this part of the multiverse, and a fancy VR headset, and enough FoodZoom for a year's worth of unhealthy greasy meals. That should keep you happy enough to not go and build conveyor belts all around the school, right?"

"And all you gotta do is stop with... all of this," she adds.
Kukuru "Seven...? Oh, that's really good. It'd take us way longer to put all this stuff together ourselves. Maybe... Three... Weeks?" Kukuru estimates with another lazy yawn, keeping one eye open as she notices that everyone's drifting further away by virture of her just being on a different conveyor belt. She glances upwards briefly, does a few quick mental calculations, then...

... Reaches upwards to pull herself up onto another belt moving in another direction, waits there for exactly ten seconds, then rolls right off of it. She lands on another conveyor belt that takes her towards the group once more before falling off THAT one more time to finally close the gap.

She doesn't land on her feet, of course. She just kind of lands in a heap before getting right back up. It's easier that way. "Now, now, Remee... He might really be planning on doing something nice with all this. Buuut... Um." Her eyes glaze over when Shotaro goes over all sorts of legalese, and then she turns instead back towards Fixit with another curious glint in her eyes. "What're you making with all this, anyway? When it's done, I mean."
Stanley Padgett     Shotaro delivers his legal threat. It's well-spoken and well-crafted. However. What, you're telling me they actually care about all that legal stuff, are you sure? I didn't see a sign out here with my name on it telling me not to do this. So, are they REALLY that worried about it? Fixits looks around at the roiling snakelike horror to frames per second and server load, and then scoffs. I'll just make sure they get their cut of all the profit I'm making. I bet they didn't even KNOW this place was built on an ancient native burial mound. Promise I didn't wreck it, but I DID dig around it to all that juicy iron in the soil.

Remee tries to buy him off, and the Professor gasps. Money? For ME! That's amazing! He swipes his... actually that looks AMAZINGLY SIMILAR to the Starbound crew's Matter Manipulators, he swipes that thing against the cash, and it makes a sad booping noise. Awwwww, OmegaCorp doesn't take that funding, I was going to buy a new drill. Sadge. Wait, what's that about a wish, or video games? I'm just an honest guy honestly stripping the surrounding area of it's resources for profit and questionable motives!

Stanley blinks a bit, as Kukuru swims around on the rig, and then murmurs. "Remee, he's from one of the games. He's from Factory Planet." Yeah, what Mr. Padgett said, except for being from a game, Factory Planet is the name of my class here at school! Again with the smug. Stanely sighs. The space suit looks at Kukuru. Education! And profit! The kids are learning about industrial automation and fabrication and resourcing and safety regulations! Safety Third!
Shotaro Hidari "Sorry to say that it's not my problem. Take the pretty girl's money and do that, or don't. The point is that your contraption comes down. It's a threat to safety...and honestly, good decency."

Shotaro points at the professor. "Now, count up your progress somewhere else."
Kukuru "Burial grounds? Oh, so there's ghosts here, too? That'll be just like home, then~" Kukuru sounds more and more pleased with Fixit by the moment despite the clear dangers in everything he's saying and (probably) what he's doing, even humming softly to herself after a few moments. She nods in satisfaction when he mentions his motives, too, stroking her chin thoughtfully* afterwards to make it look like she's thinking.

"It's useful stuff for today's economy, I guess. I mean, it's not anything... Well, no, it's artistic." She concedes with another nod, peering upwards at the vague structure again. "And learning how to put all this stuff together without it falling apart, too... Um."

Kukuru's clearly having trouble coming up with any kinds of arguments against this. Even the safety concerns don't seem to concern her much at all, although that might just be because she hasn't actually seen it fall yet. She nudges Stanley, Shotaro, and Remee, then stage-whispers to all three of them.

"Is this one really a problem? It's such a nice napping-erm. Learning... Thing." Her priorities are pretty clear there, at least.

*It'd probably be more convincing if she did that before nodding.
Remee Halcyon Okay, so, this *isn't* the wish person here. Disappointing. But...

... a bit after things get explained, Remee goes to try to get close to the professor (literally). "Excuse me for just one moment," she says.

She tries to get a good sniff of his... scent? Trail? Metanarrative signature? Just whatever she can get, that might lead her to whoever *is* causing all of this.

The wads of cash get dropped onto a nearby conveyor belt during all of this and presumably carried off somewhere, forgotten.
Stanley Padgett     Remee starts to do her sniffy sniff thing... Woah, hey there, I just met you. Wait, aren't you the girl who's dating Stanley? Does HE know you're sniffing around other guys like this? Stanley just rolls his eyes a bit.
Okay so. The professor and Ms Salem both smell narratively similar, naturally. The Space Man smells naturally industrial and anti-toxic and artificial... and Agatha also smells... industrial, naturally, what with all the chemicals she works with in the chem department. She also smells like pixels and magic and something floral. Lilacs? Is it her hair product? No, it's too faint for that, but someone else she knows uses that scent.

I mean I COULD take it all down right now, but that'd be such a waste, after I took all afternoon to put it up there. Also, I uh. The Professor looks at Shotaro. We're currently all STANDING on it so I don't think you REALLY want me to do that. Not right now, at least. Smug jerk. Also, the kids LOVE my course, and who wouldn't? You got diggers, belts, robots, belts, construction, belts, and belts! Hands spread wide, and Professor Ficsits just revels in all he's created today. A beat though. Okay, MAYBE I can get rid of the belts inside, I guess those ARE a hazard, maybe. He looks down at his wrist, and starts tapping on a computer there. Inside the building, conveyor belts that HAD been built into hallways and classrooms retract and vanish, leaving cargo behind all over the place.
Charlotte Newman     It's become clear that 'up' is no longer the direction to go, and so at some point while navigating between hazardous ribbons, Charlotte has changed directions. She soon comes trotting out of the Reversal version of Silver Springs, swiping a finger across her phone's screen. The resultant glitchy portal is immediately used-- depositing the girl into the parking lot on the Real side of things.

She returns her bat to the holster on her purse strap, approaching those gathered around Mr Fixits, "'You guess'?!" Charlotte did show up in time to hear that part, even as the belts start deconstructing where she'd come from. She doesn't stop until she's right in the teacher's face, shoving a finger up against the opaque face covering, "I was stranded in there for hours, it was so jampacked! You're an adult, you're supposed to be a rolemodel! We're supposed to learn how to be responsible from your example, don't be so careless!"
Kukuru "You could try building this stuff somewhere further out where there aren't so many people." Kukuru recommends, yawning again and popping a squat right where she's standing instead of looking for a different spot to rest. "Like on a... Over... Water! So if someone falls, they can just go for a swim instead of having to worry about landing on the ground. Oh, but you'd need to make your stuff waterproof, I guess. Then it wouldn't be so... Um..."

She makes a splashing motion with her hand, then turns to Charlotte when she gets up in Fixits' face. Perhaps sensing the tension, she approaches her from behind to get her arms around the student in a gentle, but firm hug (complete with head rubbing). "Easy, easy... It's okay, Charlie. You're not in there now, and... Wait. How'd you get stuck in there for so long?"

She pauses to glance around, then lets out an understanding 'ohhh' shortly afterwards. "Oh yeah... I didn't see you around here earlier, huh? Ah, you must be starving...!"

Out comes the food, a thermos full of sports drink, and a couple of prepackaged wet napkins. It's only then, however, that she finally gives Fixits a disapproving look. "Did you know she was stuck in there?" She actually sounds vaguely irritated for once, perhaps even mildly incensed at the potential lack of proper supervision.
Shotaro Hidari "We go now," Shotaro says, sitting back down on his bike. "We need to find the wisher, and stop the Tyrant that formed because of her. Before this becomes any worse...It's not just the people here we are saving, but a lonely girl who...I think, wished for a world that was fairer."

Shotaro looks towards the others. "We should have enough clues to start searching. Both on this side and the other."
Remee Halcyon "Oh..."

When Charlotte says she's been in there for hours, Remee reaches into her bag. "I've got a sandwich and some- oh." Kukuru's faster on the food draw.

"Well, I've got the scent..."

"... Charlotte, or Stanley, could you let me into the Reversal for a bit? I want to sniff around in there too."
Stanley Padgett     Charlotte appears, and Stanley gives her a fist bump, before looking at Ficsits getting a dressing down. Geez, I'm already taking it down, inside, what more do you want? Now I'm going to have to fix my lesson plans for tomorrow. Gosh. No more 'How To Safetly Use a Jetpack in a Gravity Well'...

And then Stanley is just about to open up a portal for Remee... when the wolf catches that lilac smell again. Closer. Like, within the parking lot close.

Hidden behind a stack of crushed up cars, halfway leaning out to take pictures with a camera, is a reedy, stringy whisp of a girl, mousy hair, bags under her eyes, looks younger than Stan and Char, and she's dutifully snapping away pictures of the group, but her attention is on the floating Agatha.
Remee Halcyon "- Actually, give me a few..."

Remee melts away into the background. The stealth theory here isn't any different than sneaking away mid-battle, except there's a camera involved instead of bullets or swords. Just wait till the focus is on someone or something else, break line of sight first - easy enough to do with all the conveyor belts and miscellaneous around, and then...

Remee goes to circle around the building, breaking into wolf mode for some extra speed, and going to quietly pad up behind the girl and get a good sniff of her from behind.

Yes, that 'from behind'. No, it's not weird, it's where scents concentrate, and - no, just, no, don't be weird about it, okay?
Charlotte Newman     Charlotte allows Kukuru to 'hold her back' even though it's somewhat clear the woman isn't really doing that. She just kind of fumes at Mr Ficsits with the Rich Girl Glare, even when given a snack and a drink by the horned lady. She commits the crime of Eating Angrily.

It does calm her down enough to return Stanley's fistbump, at least. The teacher's reaction to her scolding is noted, but she snaps another Scowl at him when he complains.

Eventually calm enough, Charlotte takes a deep breath, then lets it out. When her eyes open again, she's focused on Agatha and calls her out from Kukuru's arms, "Oh, Miss Salem, I did want to ask you something." Perhaps goaded on by Shotaro's comments on radio and in person, she simply puts it out there: "Do you know a girl named Chastity? I think she's a student here and I've been trying to get in touch after a meetup a while back."
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro, hearing the request from Charlotte is now off the bike, helmet back on the seat. He watches Charlotte...and notices Remee is searching for something too.

Maybe the clues they are looking for are here. For now he waits, these clues are going to reveal themselves...and he'll be here to help the moment either needs him.
Stanley Padgett     Agatha chimes at Charlotte, and then beams. "Oh, you mean my daughter? She's a peach and a joy. the love of my life, why?" She even lets out the little 'full bond' noise as a happy trilling sigh.

The stringy girl only catches Remee sniffing at her at the last second, but she's panicking and shuffling in her pocket for- oh crap. She maces Remee, or tries to. "GO AWAY I'LL CALL THE COPS I DON'T KNOW YOU DON'T STEAL ME." And then she lets out the White Girl Alarm Screaming that Charlotte does so well.

Stanley and Agatha both turn, while Professor Ficsits seems to get bored and float away. My home is a DINK home. I teach them, but you get to deal with them otherwise, peace~
Stanley is suddenly Not Next to the rest of everyone, flashing down three levels of the gantry at a time as he Speedsters his way to Remee... And Chastity Miller, who's sobbing and trying to scramble for her life from these evil offworlders.
Remee Halcyon To the girl's credit, mace is a sensible reaction to a strange wolf sniffing at you from behind.

"*YIPE!*"

It also results in a panicked wolf rolling on the ground, pawing at her face and whining for several seconds, before finally getting enough sense to use a form that has fingers.

"Agh- where's-"

Human Remee grabs for her bag, and then rips off the canteen carabined to the side of it, opening it and just dumping it straight into her own face.

She's a bit incapacitated at the moment.
Kukuru With Charlotte seemingly calmed down enough, Kukuru releases her with one more pat on the head before turning around when she hears THE SOUNDS of someone screeching at Remee. Without missing a beat, she holds an arm out to Charlotte and Agatha in case they need a quick ride down, and then she just vaults herself right over there with a mighty jump!

The landing's gentle, at least, as she stops by the screeching girl, Remee, and Stanley. "Easy, eaaasy. It's okay, we're friends~" She tries reassuring the girl with her trademark motherly smile, light wave of her hand, a small tilt of her head, and that ever convenient subtle mental influence that's telling the girl that Kukuru really is her friend, and that she's one of the safest people to be around right now.

"What's going on here, anyway...? Remee, are you practicing being scary today?"
Shotaro Hidari Shotaro's head turns towards the white girl's alarm. Noticing Charlotte is right here, though, he starts running towards the source. Turning the corner to see Remee being maced, people start to gather up.

Shotaro, calmly, takes a step forward and speaks firmly. "Chastity. I have a friend who's been wanting to talk to you about a wish you made. I would like you two to have a discussion."
Charlotte Newman     "Oh, she's your daughter?" Charlotte's face brightens up, "That simplifies things a lot, actually. Thank you, Miss Sa--" The sudden, shrill noise from the parking lot is not a car alarm. She recognizes the Girl Alarm very well, as a master of the technique herself.

She snaps her attention over and down at the scene unfolding near the girl's hiding spot, squinting slightly when she spots Remee fumbling about with the canteen. Her eyes shift to the source of all the noise-- widening with recognition.

That's the girl from the meetup, all right.

She glances quickly towards Agatha, then back to Kukuru to accept the horned lady's assistance. Upon arrival at a much closer spot, she makes a point of fussing over her skirt and jacket, then pushing errant hairs back where they belong. As someone who isn't extraversal to Lampport, and also someone who had met her before (and someone who's accompanied by Calming Kukuru, and someone who's been introduced by Shotaro), she finishes by clearing her throat.

"Are you okay?" She offers Chastity her hand to help the girl back up, "I'm sorry if Remee scared you. I'm Charlotte, remember? We met a while back at Beanie's? The Reversal meetup? I remember you had a ton of cool ideas about the game."
Stanley Padgett     Unfortunately for everyone involved, Chastity Miller is not a rational individual, beholden of good senses and fair constitution. No sooner than she has maced Remee, and started to scramble for help, she's intercepted by Stanley Padgett, the Dangerous Kid With Powers.
    And Charlotte, who KNOWS.
And Kukuru, who despite being motherly and VERY MUCH A FRIEND is still an offworlder, and it's shoving all these thoughts through her poor little system.
    Shotaro, who ALSO KNOWS.

She whimpers, curls up into a ball, and just stammers and goes quiet, rocking in place. "My fault, my fault, my fault..." She repeats it like a mantra, as Agatha floats over on her broom, and sighs. "Oh, honey, why... oh." A dejected sigh, and she grumbles. "Sorry, Chastity's been really on edge lately and it's made her emotions get the better of her." A vaguely sad, bond down noise. "She's gonna need some low sensory time to get unwound." She climbs off her broom, and then hugs the girl, who just seems to whimper a bit more. "Her dad can get through to her better on this one. Come on honey, we're gonna head home, okay?"

Chastity just keeps repeating 'my fault, my fault' as Agatha scoops her up apologetically, and looks to the others. "I heard you had questions, but you're... you're not going to get anything out of her tonight. Here." She gets out her phone, decked out in all those pictures of herself on the case, and shares her contact info. "I'll be sure to let you all know when it's okay to talk? We'll do it at our house, just so she feels comfortable?"
Charlotte Newman     Trying to be Friendly isn't working. It's plain to Charlotte that Chastity has become intensely overwhelmed by everything going on-- and she shoots a look off in the direction Mr Ficsit wandered, when that thought crosses her mind.

She chases him from her thoughts and straightens her posture with a little sigh, "I understand, miss Salem. But before you go..." She folds her hands behind her back, leaning forward a bit, "I don't know-- if Chastity is really in a state of mind to hear me right now. So when she's feeling better, please tell her that I managed to save most of her in-game inventory, and I'll give them back when she's ready."

She shakes her head, "I'm not... This isn't holding her things hostage, or anything. I want to be clear on that. I feel terrible about scaring her, I'd much rather be her friend."
