Ishirou Japan the world that Ultraman Belial has landed on is a land plagued by environmental catastrophes.  The humans of this world fight back against catastrophes in their own way, choosing supremacy over cooperation with their world.  Despite this, there are dreamers that exist in humanity still, those that wish to work with mother nature to set things right, so that they both may live in cooperation.

One man in Kofune Manufacturing is one of those, the company is mostly known for intermediary manufactory, but recently has branched out into ecological research.  Through hard work, research, and a desire to see their world heal from humanity's advancement at the expense of nature they have discovered a breakthrough.

Small creatures who can both devour nearly any kind of waste product and in fact seem to thrive on it and produce electricity as a byproduct.  Through careful and selective breeding have managed to turn the creatures they have in captivity from mostly wild (but very small for their size) kaiju, into friendly and faithful companions.

However, there are aliens that also seek things.  Mostly for themselves, mostly to seek a profit.  Truly, the difference between many aliens and humans is not all that different.

Ultraman B Episode 3: Elking, Elking, Elking!

In Tokyo's industrial sector, explosions ring out.  Rising from a Kofune Manufacturing building, split in half by the sudden appearance, is a giant creature.  Slightly yellow-white with black marks across its body that look similar to electricity.  It has two black horns on its head that crackle.  And on its head is a visor that glows yellow as opposed to eyes.

The building itself is in chaos, with people running in every direction and inside one might even see a strange creature seemingly carrying off smaller (think doll-sized) versions of the larger creature that's now rampaging in the middle of the district.

However, the larger problem of the Kaiju that is rampaging in Tokyo is probably a larger concern.  The biggest concern is that it /sparks/electrical energy, draining it from the power grid around itself and shutting down the whole grid for a large portion of the city.  This already is making it very difficult for first responders and rescue teams.
Ru Li Cheng      Earth!

It's a strange world, a vortex of activity. In a multiverse of infinite possibility there are so many Earths, so similar in nature, that any one of them can get lost in the crowd. For someone like Ru Li Cheng, from a world so different, it's hard to keep track of which interchangeable Earth is which, and frankly he's starting to wonder if that's a problem or an intent. After all, if a disaster were to strike, it's good to have replacement parts on hand.

Still the Ru Cheng god is giving it his earnest effort to get used to the one Belial is from. He's spending a lot of time there on behalf of Belial, trying to help the Ultraman recharge and get used to his own new home. It is, at least, some small comfort that the people here are still human - even if Ru Li Cheng is not himself human (and nor is his Ultra-ridealong), the people are familiar, moving in swarms of humanity not dissimilar from the capital of his own home.

And he, thankfully, can get lost in those swarms, disappearing into them without a second look despite even his fanciful divine robes. He can simply exist amongst them, the sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and feels of humanity passing him by all around, as though he was but a rock in a river.

A rock in a river...amidst, but not part of.

     Hm.

Today in particular he's been sampling local cuisine on Belial's behalf. It's very similar to Yinghuan cuisine, really - rice and fish and salty sauces, with a little flag in the middle for style - but that similarity makes it strangely comforting.

And confining, too. But...that's a thought he's keeping away from Belial. Let the Ultraman see him as a genial and upbeat god instead.

"It's strange, isn't it," he says to the air, knowing Belial can hear him, "How alive it all is, and how chaotic. How...messy. How free. There's a virtue to it that I don't understand yet, but...I think I'd like to. A virtue in this chaotic mess. Though...hah, I suppose this sort of thought is unbecoming one of my nature. A clock claiming virtue in something unable to keep time is more like recognizing its opposite as worthwhile, isn't it?"

"Do you have an opposite, Belial? Do you Ultramen have something that mirrors you, a darkness to your light? Something you must not touch?"

Ru Li takes another spoonful of the rice and tastes it long before it enters his mouth. He focuses on it for a while, thoughtfully, letting Belial absorb as much of it as possible before he finally bites down.

It's on the bite that the explosions occur. Ru Li drops his spoon in shock. The flag in the mountain of rice falls to the side.

"...well...it was a pleasant meal nonetheless," Ru Li says with a sigh as he stands, tucks the chair back in to be polite, and goes running against the surging crowd.

From within his billowing sleeve he draws a strange red and black device and an odd capsule. Once the crowd is clear, he takes the capsule in one hand and the device in the other. "Like this, you said..."

Ru Li slams the capsule into the device.

                              ULTRAMAN BELIAL

The device lights up as Ru Li raises it over his chest. "Rising Slash!"

He swings the device sideways, trailing energy in the device's wake like a scar in the world, and walks through. "ULTRAMAN!"
Bowser ADVENTURES IN POST APOCALYPTIC JAPAN, DAY 32.

The Flame Flyer speeds through the streets, towards the Kofune Manufacturing plant. "Alright. I have a plan. This time I'm NOT going to get lunch. I'm just going to get what I came here for. They got this electric monster that is supposed to be able to SHOOT ELECTRICITY FROM THEIR EYES or maybe their heads. So I'm going to go in and get most of them. And THEN, I can use them to power the BOWSER SHIELD! Once the BOWSER SHIELD is powered, I can come here and have lunch whenever I want! GWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" The various skeletons in the car making rattling sounds that might be laughter.

ELSEWHERE, Kammy points at a group of goombas with her wand, "Faster! Get those machines up faster! Just DO IT or his royal PUNCHINESS will never stop coming here!"

The Flame Flyer does a J turn into a parking space in front of the factory only to see it broken open. He points at two Dry Bones. "YOU TWO BONEHEADS START SCOOPING UP AS MANY AS YOU CAN! KNOCK ANYONE DOWN WHO GETS IN YOUR WAY! I'm getting tired of these JERKS ruining my day!

"HEY NERD!" Bowser shouts up to monster as he steps into the district. "THIS IS BOWSER'S PLACE NOW! YOU'VE GOTTEN IN MY WAY TOO LONG! I AM GOING TO HAVE MY LUNCH! I AM GOING TO HAVE MY SUSHI! AND YOU ARE GOING TO GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE!" He whips his head around towards the platoon of Dry Boens behind him. "FIRE THE BULLET REX CANNON!"

THere's an excited clattering as the skeletonized turtles push out what is basically just a big metal stand with a short cannon tube on top. Bowser waits patiently. So do the Dry Bones.

Finally, the tube comically bulges before firing out a single grinning bullet the size of a triple decker BUS at the Eleking.
Ritsuka Fujimaru "Senpai, there's another one showing up in Japan today."
"Another one? But I don't think there's anything else we needed to pick up..."
"Good. That'll give me time to-"
"We can focus on the rescue from the start, then!"
"... Goddammit."

Arriving at the industrial sector, the trio of Ritsuka, Mash, and Jeanne are already moving at a rapid clip as they're all piled onto a motorcycle being driven by the Avenger. They're not moving particularly quickly in the interest of safety, though, although there's certainly a few close encounters with whatever first responders that can't even get their vehicles into position.

Spotting a familiar face in the form of Ru Li, Ritsuka taps Jeanne's helmet and points her in that direction, but the motorcycle stops when they see something happening with that strange little capsule. They might have some idea what's going on, though, as all three of them abandon the vehicle to instead...

Get to work on aiding the rescue efforts. Ritsuka and Mash do, anyway, as they head for the building trying to open up whatever exits are blocked and directing foot traffic. Jalter is still being Jalter, of course, and going straight for the kaiju with her flag already billowing in the wind behind her.

"This place attracts far too many of these creatures... That's fine. Come on, you overgrown rat!" Jeanne taunts while she calls forth several burning spears, then launches them all straight at the kaiju. As expected, the volley of spears explodes on impact, and more keep appearing around Jeanne while she pointedly ignores the actual rescue efforts going on behind her.
Touta Konoe The return to Neo-Tokyo. At least...It should be? The way that Touta Konoe walks the streets now feels like he's been here for a while. In fact, even before the events unfolded Touta could have been found roaming the streets, picking up the occasional snacks of a food vendor and so on. He's even gotten to the point he can call a few of the street vendors by name. Still, when things begin to unfold...The casual air of everything starts to subside. Even with fresh yakitori, there's a bitter taste after the events that happened the last time. Something that he assumes most of the Elites that came the last time might feel. It's clear there's a desire to keep the chaos down to a minimum, something that any and all that are coming this time are focusing on.

Even now the Elites are on the roll, some already heading in to deal with the Kaiju of the week, while others...

<J-IC-Scene> Ru Li Cheng says, "Another monster attack, but this time, I'm going to have to ask someone else to please clear rescue operations. I won't be able to manage that and help direct Belial."
<J-IC-Scene> Ritsuka Fujimaru says, "On it! I've brought Mash and Jeanne, too!"
<J-IC-Scene> Mash Kyrielight says, "... Miss Jeanne is approaching the creature."

This time there's a change in the line-up of who's going where, and Touta finds himself acting with Mash and Ritsuka as their Avenger for the evening. For the most part he aids in rescue efforts as well, moving away obstructions that might be too heavy for Mash or Ritsuka, and attempting to watch their backs as they do so but...There's definitely the screams that can be heard from the building, and then there's a different kind of sound that seems much more sinister than that of just panicked civilians. "Mash, Ritsuka! I'm going in first in case there's stragglers!"

If they can keep the civilians flowing out fine, then it gives him a chance to check inside for anyone that wasn't able to get out, along with trying to contain the creature that was inside the building. As it was, it already looked like just the wrong move could have it flinging those tinier kaiju versions about and if that happened well... "Can't let that happen..."

Before even starting to approach the creature, Touta can be seen slashing at his arm as blood sprays out. He doesn't seem phased by the self-inflicted wound though he's not exactly letting it heal either. Rather he's simply ignoring it as he starts to charge at the strange creature. His blood leaving a trail behind him and around the room as he'd take his blade and begins trying to slash at the doll-sized versions of the kaiju that appeared about this creature's frame.
Hibiki Tachibana     Ultraman Belial's world is in danger again. And once again, there are more important things to worry about than just herself. It won't be enough to keep her away. Therefore--

Actually, Hibiki /is/ here beforehand, like the first time. She's been doing a lot of world-hopping as of late, and she's probably not going to stop any time soon. When one is dedicatedly stopping themselves from returning home, you still need somewhere to go. And all things considered, other versions of Tokyo help take some of the sting off.

Not half of it, but some. And the advancement and modernization of Neo Tokyo in this one in particular, while taking a very unique form given the Sea Wall, makes it feel a little more familiar to her own. It also doubles up on letting her keep an eye out for more Kaiju appearances, and dig a bit more into exactly how history has gone and life works here. There's a question on her mind, every time she thinks about it.

What can they--she do, to stop the Kaiju attacks from happening? Is it as 'simple' as stopping Alien Reiblood's hold on them? Or is there something else that can be done? What do all of these assaults on Tokyo, here in one place, have in common that they can work around...?

Oh. That sure is a large portion of the power grid going out, leaving the library she was reading in cast in sudden darkness. Hibiki grabs the jacket she left on the back of her chair and sprints for the door.

...

Two minutes and one off-screen transformation sequence later, there's something descending from above. Not a bird, nor a plane, but a magical girl who really should not have been able to make it that high. But crossing a city in such a short amount of time requires the ability to jump very good. Just as equally, it gives a great overview of the situation.

"If it gets away to any other parts of the city...no, even if it just keeps rampaging around here--!"

Well, she remembers the localized demolition that Gomora left. And for something like this that affects electricity so much, right in the middle of the now-thoroughly-split Kofune Manufacturing building...Hibiki does /not/ opt to go straight for a falling skull-strike, as she has several times before now. Instead, she tucks her shoulders in and re-angles her descent so she can--

Land /behind/ Eleking, barely taking any time to recover or push the soreness out of her legs from doing that before she uses both arms to grasp /tight/ onto its tail and roughly yank backwards as a boot digs into the ground for support. Should a five-foot-nothing girl be able to reasonably keep a Kaiju locked in place by doing this? Not at all. Hibiki Tachibana is, however, not reasonable at all, and very strong besides.

With some of the others handling the civilian rescue operations, she's going to make sure Eleking doesn't get the chance to stomp around and cause further destruction before they've gotten all the civilians out of the way.
Ishirou Belial is enjoying the meal, sharing the senses of his host, and generally being... well enjoying this mutual cooperation more than he thought he would. Belial was always more of a loner compared to other Ultramen.  Honestly, the only Ultra he'd considered a friend was Ken... but he'd rather not think about him right now.  Something happened between them, and it was a painful wound for him.

"I'll be honest, Ru Li.  It reminds me of home, a lot.  We were a lot similar to humans once before we were changed into what we are now.  Even still we share a lot of similarities.  Cities, places to meet, places where we live..."

He seems to frown, "I wasn't very sociable though.  I.." he pauses.  The question is a dark one for him.  He was always the shadow to Ken's light, really.  "...No, not in that sense, my friend.  I suppose in a way I was the shadow of someone else.  I..." he pauses, "Have complicated feelings for my friend."

"I don't think so," Belial responds to Ru Li's thoughts on the question being unbecoming.  "You should always challenge things that you think are set in stone.  If they are truly made to be set in stone, then they should weather your challenge, should they not?  If they can not... do they deserve to continue to pretend?  I do not think so.."

"Yes, it was enjoyable.  Human food is... unique... but it seems we are called once more!"

Ru Li can feel Belial's excitement.  He can tell, he is less protector and more fighter.  He /enjoys/ fighting more than protecting... but at the same time he does still protect.  Upon forming, Belial immediately charges Elking, driving a ULTRA KNEE into its face, timing his moves with Ru Li's direction.

This is followed by a BUS of Koopa, which...stops dead in the middle of the road.  The electrical field around the Elking immediately drains the electrical system of the car leaving it dead in the road.  However, it does distract it long enough for the spears from Jeanne to impale it, causing it to cry out in a strange electric-sounding screech.

Hibiki gets behind the Kaiju and starts spinning it, by using its tail.  It starts to flail before being tossed a bit back and tumbling over.  Screeching, it stands back up and stomps a foot down.  Blasts of electrical energy fly at Hibiki, Jeanne, and Bowser.  They strike with the force of an explosion but leave an electrical shock after that lingers.

Belial, on the other hand, has to contend with the electric tail heading for his neck, trying to choke him and by extension Ru Li.  Worse, seconds later a blast of electricity shoots through the tail, adding insult to injury.
Ishirou Inside:

https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/ultra/images/b/bb/Ultraman_Z_Alien_Barossa_render.png/revision/latest?cb=20200816164521

This fucker is holding several smaller versions of the Eleking in his hands, trying to get away as small bony turtles try and gnaw on his legs.  Alien Barossa kicks them off, jumping around and wishing he had more arms to rub his new boo-boos.

"Back off!  I, Alien Barossa, stole these cute and innocent creatures first, and turned THAT one into a very much not innocent creature!  Hahaha..." he says, dodging debris and ducking under destroyed parts of the building to get toward the back and into the alleyways.

Which immediately gets one of the cute mini elekings slashed.  It screeches in pain and hits the ground laying down in a pool of blood.  Alien Barossa looks both impressed, afraid, and then angry!  "Hey!  That's not yours to hurt!  I'm being paid for these!  Get your own cute race to enslave!" he says, and pulls up a hand.

A HAMMER appears in it, likely also stolen that sparks with electrical energy.  He aims to smash it into Touta's head.  "You can not defeat me!  Alien Barossa is a rather /shocking/ combatant!  Hahaha..." he says and then starts fleeing immediately.
Ru Li Cheng      The tail closes around Belial's throat, and Ru Li suffers the consequences, too. It squeezes, chokes, crushes. Lightning surges, communicated through the Riser to Ru Li's flesh and metal. It burns at his eyes. It burns at his skin. His mouth opens to release crackling smoke. His heart pumps twice as hard to deliver blessed quicksilver coolant as fast as it can to as much of his body as possible. His free hand grabs at his neck as he tries to breathe, but there's nothing to tug at - merely the sensation of being strangled.

Belial will follow his movements, but Belial is the expert fighter. Ru Li is a bureaucrat. Ru Li is following *Belial's* movements.

So Ru Li lets himself be carried along. Before, he was a rock in the river. Now, he is a leaf on the river - and Belial's motions are the river carrying him. Fingers tighten around the Riser.

I'll put my trust in you, then. My life's in your hands.

     I'll trust you, Belial.
Ritsuka Fujimaru INSIDE

"Got it! We'll make sure they find their way out once you send 'em our way!"
"Thank you, Mister Konoe. We can keep them covered in case any attacks come this way, too!"

Indeed, Mash and Ritsuka actually seem to have a good system going to aid in evacuating folks from the building that Alien Barossa and Touta are in with all those Drybones. Mash is closer to the side of the building facing where Eleking is, ready to intercept whatever attacks it may send at them, and Ritsuka's just staring intensely at Alien Barossa as he starts rushing to get out of there.

"Not so fast, space guy! If that one outside is with you, then that makes you the perfect alien shield!" Ritsuka calls out to the fleeing Barossa while she brings up her hand like she's giving him the finger-guns. Unlike conventional finger-guns, though, a small black and red orb appears in front of her hand, shortly followed by her making a 'pew' noise and jerking her hand up like she's firing a gun with recoil. Coincidentally, the projectile launches right at Space Barossa at that same time and threatening to send a stinging pain right into his back

OUTSIDE

Jeanne doesn't really seem to care about what's going on at the building. She's just enjoying the battle like she always does, leaping around to get around the worst of the electrical blasts and bracing herself for those she can't avoid. Her armor crackles with that electric energy as it washes over her, gritting her teeth momentarily to make it look like she's ignoring the pain entirely.

"Was that it? How disappointing. Just lay down and die, then, if you're going to waste my time like this!" Still taunting the giant, the Avenger starts rushing towards the Eleking, launching the rest of her spears at it from below before leaping onto an abandoned vehicle. Pointing her flag at it, more flames start jetting out towards the Eleking while curving around the combined Belial/Ru Li and...

She's targeting the tail around his neck. It's a coincidence, of course, since that just happens to be the closest and easiest target! Of course she has no interest in aiding the giant combined man thing.
Bowser The Bullet Rex turret stays in place, idly shooting BULLET REXES at the huge monster. Until the blasts of electricity rip through it, melting it down into a single slagging pile. The Dry Bones stare at the pile of molten metal, at Bowser, then back at the huge Eleking. They immediately scatter.

MEANWHILE, back at the factory.

The two Drybones are like, 5 feet tall, mind you, but they are easily brushed aside. Still, as soon as Touta picks out the SPACE ALIEN as the villain, they rush over to leap on Barossa, trying to slow him down. Bowser walks through the wall, letting it crumble and part around him as he sees the tableau. One on the ground, then a look over at Touta who has a blade out, covered in blood.

"YOU!" He points a big finger at Barossa. "Give me those back or I'll punch your head so hard you can use your face as a cereal bowl!"

"You!" He points at Touta. "Those are MINE!" Punctuated with a jerk of the thumb towards his chest. "And I'm not going to just let every dude come around and take what's MINE. We take people like that and we POUND THEM into paste!" He punctuates THAT by grabbing the edge of a fallen chunk of wall and under arming it at Touta.
Hibiki Tachibana     Electric blasts are fine. If it means Eleking is more focused on stopping them from harassing it than causing destruction to the surroundings and the fleeing Kofune Manufacturing employees, then that's perfectly fine. But what's going on further inside...? Little friends...?

Have to worry about the problem right in front of her face, first. Hibiki braces up and readies both fists as the shocking attacks rain down, tightening up a fist--and then uppercuts one of them to send it flying skyward. The impact leaves her hand and forearm tingling and requiring more effort to keep tensed, but she steps forward again one pace right after.

Another with the opposite hand. And then an upwards kick. Two more scattered. When a fourth one comes, her still-raised leg is brought down to stomp it down into the ground and disperse the explosion underneath her heel with a twist of it. That's going to leave her feeling rather electrified for a while, but much better than taking them directly - and before Eleking can fire off another barrage, she lunges forward.

With Jeanne unintentionally(?) helping Belial to get free of the tail, she doubles up on it at the source. All of Hibiki's momentum becomes a high-speed kick aimed at one of Eleking's shins, with the intention of upsetting its balance enough that it won't be able to maintain the tail-grapple on the Ultraman! Still...

She can't help but wonder out loud to herself over the sounds of the fighting. "Reiblood--are you behind this one, too...?"

There's an easy way to know--but she already knows how dangerous that would be. So not right now. But she sincerely hopes this one won't entirely berserk out the way the last Kaiju did.
Touta Konoe Cute is a very subjective term when there's a Kaiju of the thing outside causing just as much havoc! Still as Mr. Alien Barossa explains himself there's a moment where Touta's genuinely trying to rescind his attack, but ultimately there's the sound of the creature's scream and with it... A clicking of teeth..."Damn it..." He's messed up again.

There's regrets already to be had, but with his attention focused on the pool of blood of the creature involved, he finds himself taking the collision of a hammer to the top of his head as it ends up jolted with the shock. His body slams into the floor in a pool of blood aptly next to the creature. One could argue it's the sort of justice the creature deserves...

Though unlike that creature as Barossa attempts to escape, his head reforms. He can see Barossa emptying to escape but before that finds himself looking back to the puddle of blood that wasn't his own.

"...Sorry..."

It's an apology that feels shallow to give at this point. Still, there's a time to deal with such things and this wasn't it. His hand reaches for the radio as he speaks up.

"Mash, Ritsuka, you got something ugly trying to get out, and it's not the turtle thing. It's apparently trying to hit and run with those mini-kaiju. Don't hurt'em if you can, they're not hostile! But don't let him out either!"

It seems even without his warning though, they're both pretty quick on the uptake. Mash handles incoming attacks from the Kaiju, while Ritsuka handles the exits. If they're going to be so good at this he can't be slowing them down.

Thus, as Barossa attempts to escape he's all but ready to give chase but before he can he hears the shouting of a very discontent...Turtle(?)

"Yours? What are you talking about?! If they're actually yours focus on getting them back from--Oi!"

And again, Touta finds himself crushed. It's not a good day for him, but perhaps Bowser as no one ends up coming up from the rubble. That's definitely something he can flaunt about right? So cool and so tough he ended the guy's life in one att--

"Don't think I forgot about you, asshole!"

Bowser can hear in the distance as the guy he just flattened had somehow made his way towards Barossa who had been escaping. It seemed rather than focusing on returning the favor, he's a bit more keen on actually stopping the Elking from getting napped. So the moment that he's close enough to the fleeing Barossa, it'd feel as Touta would grab at one of its arms, careful not to harm the robbed creatures any further but with enough force he's not just going to run away so easily. "Hey, let me know if this feels like you got hit by a hammer."

Touta jams his fist straight into Barossa's face with a vicious swing into the side of its face as it'd turn around. Attempting to pull the creatures from the monster in a way that keeps them from getting further harmed. Though if Barossa's arm gets ripped off in the process well...If it's safer for the kiddies, it's all good on this one.
Ishirou Belial makes an ultra grunt in response to Ru Li, though this is likely because of the tail around his neck.  What is not said, but felt by Ru Li is... something strange for Belial.  A bond of trust forming, something he's only ever felt with one other person.  However, Belial isn't able to dwell on these thoughts now.

Jeanne targets the tail, causing scorches.  Though, oddly, this is from the spears exploding in the air, scorching the tail in the process but not clearly stabbing it.  Hibiki's kick, however, manages to get through and slam the tail in just the right way.  It screeches in pain! Thankfully, this is enough for Belial!

He manages to pull the tail off and do his own spin with Eleking, tossing it across the streets of Neo Tokyo, and freeing himself.

"But I feel you have a plan," Belial says to his partner.

Meanwhile, on the inside...

Alien Barossa turns to look at two ladies.  The shot fires, but the Hammer swings down.  Pain surges as the magic still affects him but in a far more diminished way than before!  Also, strangely, in the building there are people still unevacuated.  They're all... asleep?  They're going to need help!

"What?  No, it's not with me, it's a /distraction/.  I'm here to steal these guys!  Well... one less now..." he says glaring at Touta.  More dry bones assault him, causing him to nearly squeal in surprise because he was sure he got them the first time.  The hammer comes down in response to them a second time.

To Bowser he shouts back, "Hey, I stole these things fair and square!  Now, if you're willing to pay me for them I can just give them to you and run away.  This is already starting to get too dangerous, but this guy here is trying to kill them all!  So if you want to make a deal, keep him off me and I'll gladly hand them over.  For money.  Or power.  Really I'm pretty flexible.  Power-ups or weapons work too."

"I'm even available for job-" He starts to say before Touta swings at him.  The hammer comes up, enough to parry the strike enough to make it glide off of his face instead of directly punching him in the middle of the spiral.  Still enough to make it smart, but not enough to knock him out or to drop the mini-elekings.

"Alright, that's it, kid.  You've pissed me off now!" he holds the hammer up, and it SPARKS with thunder.  Then it's aimed down in a mighty blow for the top of Touta's head.  "Eat lightning!  It's an important part of every thrashing!"

To Hibiki only,

The world distorts slightly, the sun becomes a little darker, and the land a little unfocused.

Reiblood is there, moving beside her... never going far from her.  "No, this isn't a natural creature... but one created by these humans.  As such, I have no ability to effect it..."

"But perhaps you should kill it before it kills you, mm?  I would hate for your potential to be wasted so early... but if you keep holding back like that..."

"He's going to suffer for it.." and slowly turning her view towards Ru Li, and the strain he is under due to his connection to Belial.
Bowser Bowser smirks as he watches Touta start running away. "Yea, that's right! You start getting scared!" Then a glare at Barossa. "What? He's going to give them to me." He jerks a thumb towards Barossa. "And he's chicken about fighting ME. So, this is how this is gonna work."

The drybones explode into bones. The bones rattle once, shifting towards each other at a snail's pace.

"I'm gonna grab your head. And then I'm gonna punch it. And when you drop all of my new electric pets, you can work for ME. Let's try it."

He builds into a light jog, then a hop, then a LEAP, pushing himself at Barossa with one mighty swinging punch for his face!
Ru Li Cheng      "Ha, ha...do you?" Ru Li asks Belial, awkwardly, as he rubs his own neck with his free hand. "I hate to disappoint you, but I'm not *that* clever. I'm simply good at allocating resources. And right now, the resource most needed is energy for you, not for me, so I'm trying to do as little as possible so you can draw on as much as you need."

"It's not really a 'plan'. Just an awareness of priorities. People apparently mistake that for 'plans' quite a bit."

"My priority is keeping people safe. That includes you, I suppose, but I'm not so arrogant as to think I can do that, so all I can do is support in the meagre means I have. I don't have any especially powerful miracles, either." Ru Li laughs and rubs his neck again. The crackle of lightning is still at his fingertips. The trouble with a conductive body. "I'm afraid that rather than the grand war god that would suit you you're working with a paper-pusher."

His fingers twitch. "At least I'm sturdy enough that you can draw on my endurance without trouble. So we'll make use of that."

Ru Li slams a capsule into the Riser.

                                  RED KING

He flicks another capsule out from between his fingers. "I'll bear the strain. Just protect the civilians and defeat the enemy. Don't worry about me. I'm built to last."
                                   GOMORA

Ru Li presses the Riser over his chest, just like last time. "Rising Slash - Fusion Cut!"

He pulls the trigger and swings the Riser down-left, leaving a trail of red. He swings it up-right, leaving a trail of black. Finally, he cleaves straight down the middle as the Riser announces

                                SKULL GOMORA
Ritsuka Fujimaru INSIDE

Ritsuka is treated to the sight of Touta's head getting mulched, and for a moment, she's just stuck with a vacant look on her face. She does't even respond right away as he addresses her and Mash directly, instead focusing her vision squarely on Alien Barossa just so she doesn't have to let that mental image linger in her mind too long.

It will absolutely linger, but she doesn't have to acknowledge that bit of trauma right now. Instead, she can focus on not getting herself electrocuted by leaving that battle to Bowser! At least, she would if there weren't so many sleeping people stuck in the building. Alas, with so many people in harm's way, and with so much blood fresh on her mind along with her memories of what happened last time with the previous kaiju...

"... Mash! Focus on getting these people out!"
"Understood!"

Thankfully, quick thinking and throwing herself over a counter only to land squarely on her face means Ritsuka gets away from Alien Barossa's electric discharge relatively unimpeded and only modestly banged up. Rather than trying to content with him any further, she and Mash start scrambling around the building gathering up whoever they can and starting to haul them out, with Mash handling the heavy-duty people-moving and Ritsuka scrambling around to intercept anything headed for those closer to the battle area.

OUTSIDE

Jeanne continues to be a force of fiery destruction, hurling burning spears at the Eleking while realizing that she's not the only person that's significantly smaller than her target. Looking over at Hibiki (and Reiblood?), the Avenger pauses in her attacks to simply observe for a moment, a curious glint coming over her eyes.

"Hey, you. What's your excuse for coming out here again? Don't you have anything better to do?" Completely ignoring how hypocritical her question might be, Jeanne turns her attention back to Eleking as she starts charging into melee range as well, brandishing that flag again. It catches on fire as she sweeps it across the ground and leaps forward, driving the pointed tip of the flag shortly after Ultraman Ru Li-al takes those huge swings of his with the Riser's announcement.
Touta Konoe "Oh will the both of you shut the hell up?!"

Touta finds himself calling out to both of them as Bowser calls him chicken, and Barossa ends up saying he's trying to kill the things (though it's fair given what he's seen...) Rather than focusing on his swing it ends with his punch being parried by the hammer and in doing so gets caught back in the counter attack. The hammer swings at the back of his head though rather than going face first this time into the floor, Touta finds himself catching the hammer in his hand above his head. There's definitely the sound of bones cracking for a moment, but afterwards there's a smile that starts showing on his face.

"Important part of every thrashing, huh...Let's see then?"

There's definitely thunder that was imbued in Barossa's attack, it's just that Touta's definitely not seeming to be as shocked by it as before. In fact, as he gets his other hand up to strike, he can see a bit of lightning starting to discharge from it instead. It looks like for a moment he's about to really lay it into Barossa with his own attack but just as it looks like he's fully charged... ":015You better thank those things for this...normal"

Not wanting to harm the little creatures any further, he dispels the lightning in his fist and instead opts to try and continue from before with his attack. The one with which now that he doesn't have that hammer in his path he did intend to properly slam his fist into this thing's face.
Hibiki Tachibana     There he is.

It feels like the world isn't only distorted, but moves in slow motion. For a second, there's only her and Reiblood, the Alien following her movements. Though she doesn't turn to look at him directly, his voice--even just what she can see of him out of the corner of her eyes is enough.

Enough to make her teeth clench, and every muscle in her arms draw so tense they hurt.

"Kill or be killed isn't the way I fight--" That's her immediate shot back, without any hesitation, while trying to put most of her focus on landing on a piece of building rubble and springing off of it to keep up her momentum. That's easy to fire back at. The last thing, not quite as much. While dashing through the streets of the city to close the distance after Belial's attack, her vision shifts, just for a moment.

There's a frustrated wince. But the tightening of her fists after a moment comes for a different reason.

"...And I don't need /you/ to tell me what's at stake! I'm sure as hell not some pawn you can move around that easily!" While that was to Reiblood only, Jeanne's words get to her only a moment after. It's probably because of that, that she adds on more after. "I shouldn't have to need an excuse to help people! If there's something I can do something about, right in front of me--"

Finally catching up with Belial and Eleking, the magical girl leaps up from street level, sprints along a building's side, and then lunges right into melee alongside Jeanne. Rather than a flurry of massive swings, she only has one to bring to bear - with the piston machinery inside of her gauntlet slotting back with a pneumatic fist, before it fires back in place in time with a punch delivered at the Kaiju's midsection.

One thing Reiblood confirmed was that he has no control over this manmade, man-raised creature--so this time, she has no trouble at all using the moment of connection to gauge what it's feeling, without the influence of the Alien on it.
Ishirou FUSION RISE

RED KING

GOMORA

Inside Ru Li can see the two Kaiju being summed from their capsules.  On either side of him, they are formed again before the Raiser slowly turns them from images into pixels, and forges them into a single entity.  Belial, changes, manifesting the changes and changes completely.

https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/ultra/images/b/ba/SkullGomora.png/revision/latest?cb=20200917142411

Stands above you, larger than before, and /roars/ in animalistic fury.  There is a change in Belial's fighting style, going from form to savage brutality.  Claws come down on Eleking, tearing through its body and causing a line of toku sparks to rain down as it's thrown to the ground from the powerful strike.

"A lie you tell yourself, Hibiki Tachibana.  I can see what really lurks below the surface.  You deny it again and again... but I know.  Every minute you hesitate, you endanger those around you.  Every second you breathe, someone powerful stalks you."

The world returns to normal for Hibiki.

The pneumatic fist pumps into the creature, throwing it upwards after Skull Gomora severely hurts it.  She can feel the creature's heart.  It's afraid, it's hurt, it's being enraged.  So many different and conflicting things... something is forcing it into this stage, but it doesn't know what.  It's acting on animalistic instinct.
Ishirou Inside...

Touta's swing catches him directly in the face this time, throwing him back and rolling across the ground in a dust cloud of pain and regret.  More so that he can't ultimate attack now!  Damn, you critical hit!  Coming to a stop, holding the Eleking's still, and looking dazed he shakes his head.

Only to see Bowser come for him...

Alien Barbossa would have wide eyes if his face had any eyes.  Bowser comes for him, form perfect and power obvious.  He shakes...

And then drops to his hands and knees at the last second.  This likely causes Bowser to either miss the strike or pause because he did so.  "No, please!  I'm too young to die!"  Once he's sure Bowser isn't swinging, he pulls out a small bomb and throws it at Bowser.

The bomb has the word 'sucker' on it.  Barbossa is now running for his life!

Also, another one is thrown at Touta, with the words 'Ultimate attack' on it!

Unconcious workers can easily be rescued, Alien Barbossa isn't a monster, just a thief... and a pirate... and a murder... and a part-time monster...
Ru Li Cheng      The deafening, animal roar shakes even Ru Li as he follows Belial's stance. He's not 'learning', per se - he lacks the capacity to learn how to fight on the go. He's just 'trusting', and bearing the strain of the fusion as he bites down and draws quicksilver blood from his lip. The gears and springs within him strain along with his muscles. Wires scream as they're stretched in ways they were never meant to stretch. As he follows Belial's motions he can feel the power pushing down on him like a great clamp, and he struggles to keep up despite his own far-beyond-human limits.

His hands swipe as Belial does. Belial is pulling the strings on their body - but Ru Li is surrendering himself completely so that Belial can do so without any limitations. He's little more than a component now. And that's fine by him, at least for the moment. It's where he can best help.

But that's...not all he is, is it?

The intrusive thought dances across his mind. He banishes it, for the moment, back to where it belongs. More important things to focus on.

As soon as the Elking is knocked down Ru Li brings the Riser up across his chest and slams in the Belial capsule.

                              ULTRAMAN BELIAL

     "Rising Slash!"

Another sweep of the Riser to transform Belial back into Belial before Ru Li levels his hand forward. Time for the finisher.
Bowser Bowser looks down. There is a small bomb in his hand.

"S..Shuuuu...Shuuuucke-"

BOOOOOM

The resulting explosion consumes Bowser, a rippling combustion that creates an enormous cloud of smoke around him. The resulting BOOM flips over a dozen cars next to him, shatters the windows of the factory, and takes out a crater in the asphalt. The black cloud is picked up by the wind and flown away. Bowser remains, his leather bands of spikes nearly hanging off his wrists, his mane blown completely straight. His eyes painfully wide.

"koff"

Slooowly, Bowser teeters forward back onto his feet, eyes peeled to their limit. CREAAAAAAAAAAAK is the sound his eyes make as they travel down to look at Barossa again.

He's running away.

A pull to his side, and Bowser comes back with a hammer. A single hammer. He holds it towards Barossa then upward into the air. He reels back one arm and SWINGS. The hammer makes a KRAAAACKBOOM! of a sonic boom as it sails upward... upward... upward... and slowly downward towards Barossa.
Ritsuka Fujimaru With their focus squarely on getting workers out of the danger zone, whether it be from Alien Barbossa's discharge and bombs, Bowser's serious normal punch, or Touta's unlightning'd regular punches, Mash and Ritsuka still have their work cut out for them. They can hear the Skull Gomora form before they can see it, and they have to work double-time to make sure everyone's out in time for the big attacks to start flying!

'No, please!  I'm too young to die!'

Without missing a beat, Ritsuka passes one of the unconscious workers over to Mash and whirls on her feet to face Alien Barbossa in mid-jog. As she does so, though, the sudden earthquake takes her far off course, and she winds up launching herself over a table and cartwheeling over it once before landing painfully on her side.

"Geh... If you're really afraid, you should've thought about that before starting all this trouble and putting everyone here in danger!" Still wincing painfully, Ritsuka swings her legs around to right herself, then raises her hand as the red tattoo-like markings on the back of it glow fiercely.

"King! Touta! Kick his ass!" One set of the markings bursts in a flash of light, and Bowser and Touta find themselves POWERED UP for whatever punishment they seek to deliver!

MEANWHILE

Jeanne's eyebrow raises in curiosity as Hibiki gives her alleged lack of reasoning for fighting the kaiju. "So you're still one of those types, are you? I would've thought you'd have reconsidered by now after all that... Fun stuff going on."

There's a taunting tone in Jeanne's voice as she says that, but it's not quite as... Hostile? As it usually is. It's certainly not respectful, either, but it's remarkably different from the usual. It's almost reserved, even, as Jeanne flips her flag around and wedges the bottom of it it as deep into the Eleking's chest as she can.

"Well, don't let me stop you from any of that, if you're really keen on getting yourself torn up over people that don't know you. Just make sure to finish the job!"

Instead of detonating the flag right away, Jalter springboards off the flag to take her up to head-height with the Eleking. Her mana surges once more while she conjures even more flaming spears over head, each one pointed down towards Eleking. She waits a moment for dramatic effect, then sends them all raining down in a volley of burning steel, each one aimed at that same point where the flag is to burn away as much flesh as they can before the flag finally detonates.
Hibiki Tachibana     I can see what really lurks below the surface. You deny it again and again... but I know. Every minute you hesitate, you endanger those around you. Every second you breathe, someone powerful stalks you.

Reiblood is gone, but Hibiki's reply comes all the same.

"And those are /my/ crosses to bear! Everything inside of me--"

"--is mine to deal with! So keep your hands off of it!"

Belial transforming into a whole Kaiju himself--is new. As is that savage, unadulterated way of fighting. An awful thought flashes through her mind, of what it would be like if she accepted that 'kill or be killed' mentality for herself so easily. She'd be fighting the same way, if not worse. And she won't let that happen, no matter what. Before this, she was trying to think about what could be done about these things if Reiblood didn't have a hold on them...

This one doesn't. It'd be easy to simple pin it down and blow it up. But...

"I've reconsidered a whole lot of things...! But I can't change that one so easily!" For better or for worse. Jeanne gets a shout back as Hibiki makes one final leap, intending on coming down right beside the fallen Eleking's chest as Belial forces it to hit the ground in his shower of required Toei-mandated sparks. The Kaiju has all manner of wounds and injuries from all this fighting, by now, and even just from the burning barrage of the Servant.

And she digs a hand down into one of them, to reach directly inside of Eleking's body.

With Hibiki's 'connection' ability, her Symphogear is very good at one thing that only really ever comes up at home - drawing in and converting the phonic gain, the energy, from other Symphogears and their songs. It's not made to do the same with...anything else. At all. That won't stop her from trying anyway, to use it in perhaps the most reckless way it could be utilized right now.

Combined with the fact her Symphogear is metal - she's going to attempt to draw all of the electricity surging through the Kaiju's body towards herself, and use her own body as a human lightningrod to forcibly de-power it. With how much power it drained from the grid, that's going to be /a lot/ - but she's nothing if not stupidly, impossibly hard-headed and durable, and she'll only have to bear with it for so long.

Until her plan to either drain its energy reserves out until it loses the ability to fight and thus stops posing a threat actually works, or Belial actually manages to finish it off. She hopes it's the former, but she's already steeling herself for the latter.

She's also steeling herself to be the conduit that an absurd number of watts are about to travel through to safely(??) reach the ground. This is going to be hilariously painful! For her!
Touta Konoe There's a small sigh that escapes his lips as he gets that punch in. Something about that felt more therapeutic than he wants to admit. "Hey, how about instead of bargaining with the turtle for some extra cash, you just drop the mini-kaiju, tell us who hired you and we promise not to kick your ass any further?"

It seems like a fair deal, not that he imagines the Paladins wouldn't try to take him away later, but well, that's not his business. Though, it seems the fightings going to continue as Bowser attempts to follow up the attack only this time he's the one finding himself missing the mark. Why couldn't that have happened when he threw the boulder at him though?!

Though, it seems two misses aren't in Touta's luck either as the bombs get sent his and Bowser's way. Like the Koopa King, he too is consumed in the explosion.

"Koff"

Besides the ash on his figure, and the damage around him (That thankfully would have been cleared of civilians), he seemed to be okay...Though for a moment it really did seem as if he had been blown to bits. He has that effect on people's sights though.

Speaking of sights, it's clear from his sight that Barbossa was taking his leave. It's true that the citizens could be taken at this point, but...If they let this person get away...There was no telling what kind of long term damage there'd be. "Oh, like hell you get to leave stage left!"

Touta finds himself doing what he had wanted to do before he had been so rudely thrown a boulder at. He flashsteps, movement so fast that for a moment he appears as a blur as he catches up with Mr. Alien as he holds up his blade.

"Sidestick!"

Steam is released from the blade as the small katana shifts its form into a large pole to which at the end, what appears to be a...Meteor? Or at least a rock sized like a small one might look like to form a hammer of his own. It seemed he was about to join Bowser in a game of Wack-A-Alien. Intending to slam right into the sight of its body. After all...He can't just squish this guy when he's still got those things on him...
Ishirou FUSION RISE

ULTRAMAN BELIAL

The form of Skull Gomora fades away, and Belial is once more on the field.  He can feel Ru Li's feelings, frowning just a bit.  Or rather, giving the feeling of frowning.  However, he sets aside his thoughts for now.  He rears back, as black and red energy draws upon his body, drawing it into himself.

There is a burst before the power is correctly channeled, and then brought down through his arms.  The arms take the shape of an upper case L, before the energy is then shaped through the sign, and fired in an ultra beam of energy straight for Eleking.

Eleking's electric cry is heard when Jeanne launches her white hot burning spears are fired down from nearly every direction.  Flesh and metal burn and melt as more and more of it is damaged beyond repair.  It's crying more and more pitiful as the fight continues.

Standing up, it turns towards Hibiki.  Growling it slaps its tail at her and...

She drains it, the electricity flows through her body.  She can FEEL the SHEER amount of electricity it could contain.  The ground absorbs it...but something else.

Slips.

Inside.  A sliver of something.  Something that wasn't related to the Eleking.

'A present, Hibiki.  Nurture it well..' Comes a voice in her head.  Reiblood is such a kind alien.

However, the Eleking drained falls to its knees.  Belial draws upon another ultra capsule, and it slowly is absorbed by it.  The capsule, that Ru Li can see... has the image of Eleking on it.

Inside..

Barossa can feel freedom so close!  SO SO CLOSE..!

Touta's pole hits, but it's not a clean one.  He rolls with it, and staggers.  He smacks into a wall face-first... but somehow still manages to recover to run again.

"Haha!  TOO BAD LOSER!  TODAY IS THE DAY WHERE YOU ALMOST KILLED ME ALIEN BAROS-eh?"  He looks up.

The Hammer of Bowser, powerful and moves like a comet flies up...and then back down through the atmosphere.  Picking up heat from the friction of the air as it falls back to earth.  Barossa only has time to turn around before...

EXPLOSION.

What remains of Alien Barossa is a splattering of insides.  However, you can hear his last cries...

"MY KIN WILL AVENGE ME!"
Ritsuka Fujimaru INSIDE

It might just be bad luck that Ritsuka and Mash are both around when they see Barossa getting splattered by the combined efforts of Bowser and Touta, but they're treated to a grisly sight regardless when his insides become his outsides. His final declaration barely registers for either of them at first, but Mash soon snaps out of the brief daze to shake Ritsuka out of hers as well.

"... Well! Kin, huh? Does that mean we're going to be running into more guys like that in places like this?"
"That does sound like the case... We may have to figure out more efficient ways of evacuating people, if they're going to show up in populated areas like this."

It takes a little longer for Ritsuka to get her bearings, but she's soon grinning vacantly again before long. It's probably forced, too, but it's helping keep her mind on track as she turns to the king and the vampire.

"So! You guys have any ideas? Maybe we could pile evacuees on the big guy's back next time!"
"And then we could... Send them all out with that mud, perhaps?"

OUTSIDE

'I've reconsidered a whole lot of things...! But I can't change that one so easily!'

Jeanne's about to say something snappy and snarky in response, but she reconsiders as she watches Eleking being absorbed by Belial's capsule. It'd be easy to keep egging Hibiki on about not changing that habit of getting involved in something like this, but it's not like Jeanne is doing anything particularly different herself.

At least, on the helping front. "Changing... No, I suppose it doesn't come so easily. Do think about it, though, especially if it involves all those other people who can't even stand your presence."

The flag and the spears dissipate, and she approaches Belial/Ru Li while peering upwards at their combined form. "Hey! Are you going to stay up there all day, or are you going to explain what you did to get like that?"
Hibiki Tachibana     "What the hell--?"

Even through the strain of having a truly obscene amount of lightning racing through her, she's surprised enough to get that out. Reiblood's voice? And what was /that/ supposed to be? It was only safe to try something like this because Eleking had no connection at all with him - and she even confirmed that when she felt it - so how would he even...?

    "Ugh--don't tell me...this again..."

By the time all is said and done, she stumbles away burnt and steaming for her trouble, as Eleking is drawn into the capsule. Does she a consider that a success, or not...? It was definitely in a far better state than Gomora was in when the same happened to it, but...

After a few heavy breaths, she picks herself up straighter, mostly because of Jeanne's words directed towards her. Hibiki doesn't look back at her, but it's obvious who she's talking to. "...I'm not sure they ever will," she says back only barely loudly enough to be heard. It's perhaps a purposeful avoiding saying she'll think more on it, although there's no doubt she heard it.

There's a lot to consider here, and she's really quite frankly tired of not having as many pieces of the answers she would like, though. So after Jeanne asks her own question, she follows behind and follows a similar track, looking up in the direction of Belial.

"...And what happens to the monsters you absorb into those capsules, Belial? It's not the first time you've done that."
