Remee Halcyon The directions given to Ishirou for this meeting include the phrase 'Go into a warpgate while thinking of food'. There's a day given for it, but not a time.

Whenever Ishirou does decide to go, the warpgate leads him here, to the Bar and Grill at the Edge of the Multiverse (or so proclaims the menu branding). If he indicates he's here to meet someone, the hostess points him towards the back of the establishment (before he can mention *who* it is he's here to meet).

The back of the establishment contains the arcade, though really it's more of an entire entertainment complex onto itself. After a small amount of wandering past the batting cages, karaoke booths, and stations for some alien x-dimensional game Ishirou's never seen before, there's a row of light gun games - which is where Remee's camped out at the moment.

There's a sort of What she's playing is a retro sort of configuration - there isn't a video screen, but instead a series of targets lined up along the wall. The rifle fires a beam of light that sensors in the active targets pick up to register a hit.

She just happens to be between games when Ishirou approaches - she glances back briefly if she hears him approaching, but doesn't stop digging in her pockets to get out another token for the machine.
Ishirou Ishirou's heard of this cafe before, though not actually have been.  So when he steps through, he's taking his time looking around at everything for the first time.  Finally, he talks to the hostess who points him in the right direction.  Heading in that direction, he takes his time as more and more items are looked at before he finally stops when he spots Remee.

He knows this isn't going to go anywhere.  She's going to tell him to fuck off or even potentially take a swing at him.  He rubs the hurt part of himself from the recent brawl with Petra and sighs.  "So.."

The opening is probably a bit half-hearted before he speaks a bit more sincerely after, "I wanted to give you a chance to surrender without a fight.  The same chance I gave to Hibiki and Nephra.  You're the only one of them to want to meet me in person."
Remee Halcyon Remee doesn't take a swing at him. She does give a long, drawn out sigh after he's done speaking, though.

"Ishirou, do you know why you're here?"

"I mean, why you're really here. I want you to stop and give it some thought. Really think about it. You're not here to ask me to surrender, because you know that's a waste of my time and more importantly, yours. That's just the lie you told yourself."

She pulls out a handful of coins, and sorts through them looking for the arcade token she's hoping to find.

"Take off the guardsman cap for a moment, get out of the 'must arrest evildoers' mode for a bit, and give it some thought. What are you hoping to accomplish here? Tell me I'm not the only one who knows."
Ishirou Ishirou makes a long drawn-out sight.  Right.  Nobody was going to surrender, nobody was going to be reasonable.  Everyone would rather die on that hill, just like Lilian said.  It irritates him, sometimes a little irrationally.

"I swear, if this becomes another 'you're just a fake person' thing, I will literally just walk out," Seems someone is rather sick of things being how they are with a certain someone.  However, after a sigh, he gives her a stare across the arcade.

"Let me guess, you're going to tell me I am here to try and make sense of the tragedy that happened, and looking for answers from the person who caused it in some attempt to try and solve some inner turmoil?"
Remee Halcyon "I'm not your therapist, Ishirou," says Remee, frowning at the coins in her hand. Darn, nearly out of tokens after all, there's just one left. She'll have to go stock up on some more after this. "I'm not rude enough to tell you how you should be feeling, and I don't like you enough to offer you that sort of advice anyway."

"Just to make it clear, though - I don't recognize your authority. Surrendering wasn't ever going to be an option, just like you wouldn't surrender to *me* if I asked. Don't take it personally that I don't think your rules apply to me. Don't take it personally that I think you aren't going to be able to enforce them on me, either, okay?"

The non-token coins go back into her pocket, but she doesn't quite put the token into the machine yet. "You're here because you want to make a deal with me, Ishirou."
Ishirou "Color me surprised," Ishirou says, perhaps with a drip of sarcasm untended for Remee, "It's either about how much I suck, or the therapy thing," he says, with a shrug.

He listens, as she makes it clear to him that his rules don't apply to her, and vice versa.  He frowns at that, because of course not.  God forbid anyone actually be held responsible for their actions.  It sure isn't something he's been dragged through for a while.  He sighs, why does he get upset at this anymore?  Of course, they don't, otherwise, they'd be in the Paladins.

"A deal?" the idea hadn't actually crossed his mind.  "What possibly could we make a deal about?  I can't think of one thing you have that you'd be willing to give up for anything I can offer in exchange," Though he /says/ this he can't help but be interested that she thinks there is.
Remee Halcyon "I've got one thing I want to do," says Remee, who does slot the coin into the machine at this point. It whirrs to life, and plays a jaunty little shooting gallery tune via a mechanical music box.

"After that, I don't really care what happens to me. You want dibs, you want to get the credit for arresting the big bad wolf and putting her in whatever model citizen reform program that gets your tail wagging, whatever, it won't matter to me."

She shoulders the light gun rifle, and waits for the targets to start lighting up. "You help me accomplish what I need to do, and that'll be that."
Ishirou Ishirou is now full-on paying attention.  Remee is willing to come in, /if/ he does something for her.  Or rather, help her do a thing.  It's enough to both make him interested in this out of curiosity and also rub that desire to be a hero.  Combine, something in him wants to know why this is so important to her that she's willing to go this far.

"Alright, so what is it that you want so bad that you're willing to put your freedom on the line for?"
Remee Halcyon "Kill the rest of my family," says Remee, as she sights down the rifle.

There's a ding as the first target lights up, accompanied by a mechanical *pow* from the rifle as Remee's aim snaps to it and she fires.
Ishirou 'What in the fuck is wrong with you?'

The thought comes almost immediately to her admitting to her goal.  It's something that keeps coming up.  Family is the source of so many problems, so much hate... but then there are those who it's such a source of strength.  Of love...

He doesn't understand how this can be so.  It's frustrating for him, because it doesn't fit into a black-and-white 'is or isn't' thought for him.  On the other hand, the range of extremes in how people consider their family...

"Why?"
Remee Halcyon "They're evil. Whatever you think of me, double it and add on that they're unrepentant."

"And they're *my* family, so it's *my* responsibility."

*ding* goes the target. *pow* goes the rifle.
Ishirou Ishirou stares at Remee.  It's clear that right now his belief in what she considers evil might be skewed.  Though after a moment, he relents.  How many times did he judge too harshly, or put his own ideas in front of the truth and caused a situation to become worse because of his own ignorance?  Too many times...

"Forgive me if I'm skeptical, but I will at least hear you out on this," Especially after knowing what Lilian's father did to her... "What is their 'evil'?  What did they do to you to make you want to kill them?"
Remee Halcyon The game continues as Ishirou stares.

*ding* *pow*

*ding* *pow*

*ding* *pow* "Missed..." *pow*

"They haven't done a lot to *me*. They've done a lot to other people. Billionaires don't become or stay billionaires by being nice. Everyone in the family has blood on their hands."

*ding* *pow*

"If you want just the tip of the iceberg, we essentially owned the police department in our town, and the local jail never ran out of room because we needed something to do on the weekends."
Ishirou There is a moment while he listens and processes.  Well, he's never met a billionaire that ever got their money through non-immoral means.  Except maybe Gilgamesh?  He rubs his chin for a moment, trying to mentally work through this.

Then Remee drops just the tip of the iceberg.  His blood runs cold... if that was true then...

He shudders.  "Alright, but then I want time to map out how awful their influence goes, I want more than just the head, I want every collaborator with them.  I want to dismantle this completely..."

He pauses, does this mean the family themselves..?  He pauses, remembering what Rita said.  That some people couldn't be put in jail, that they'd use their influence even there to commit more harm.  "Your family... I can agree to that."
Remee Halcyon "That's fine. Take down the whole organization, if you want. I just - hang on, this is the tricky part."

Several targets light up. Remee's aim snaps to each in turn and then fires.

"... Nearly perfect. I don't want to just miss one..."

She puts the rifle back on the game's holster. "I drew up this," she says, as she digs in another pocket and then hands Ishirou a folded piece of paper.

"Octava, and the other six, at minimum," she says. "The Georgia Pack on my dad's side aren't good people either, but they're the more mundane sort of evil."
Ishirou Ishirou takes the paper and reads over it.  He pauses at one part...

"The big bad wolf..?" He asks because to him this is a fairytale creature but on the other hand... multiverse.

"I think the Halcyon side is enough for the moment," he says, though if they are more 'mundane' evil, then that could be handled by locals with support from the Paladins at a later time.  The rest... he's got some work to do on finding out each and every one of these people's skeletons, revealing their crime, and getting everything into position.

Remee would likely then want to try and handle the rest with the Watch...  He could arrange for this to happen.  "The goal here would be to isolate as many as we can before tipping them off.  Then trying to remove the remaining that are free first.  Then circling back around for those left..." he pauses considering.  "I can probably make that happen with enough work of the system.."

"Then be ready to snap up the organization when it's ready to crumble."
Remee Halcyon "Yeah. Somehow, I haven't been kicked out of the organization despite trying to kill them, and blowing up the house," she says. "So I can make the grab for the pieces, when it comes time. And hand it off or dismantle it or whatever from there."

"We good, then? No yelling or name calling you need to get out of your system?"
Ishirou Ishirou pauses... then finally...

"Why?" he asks, it is likely about why she decided to do what she did with the Kana.  He looks at her, "Say what you want about me, those fifteen people didn't deserve that.  I am very much serious about that."

"More than that... that thing is dangerous.  Something is happening to it and it being out there might make it even more dangerous."

Then a pause... "Did Hibiki really try and stop you?"
Remee Halcyon "They got in the way. That was it. I didn't want to kill them, but I wanted more to not get caught. If you're going to start moralizing about that, save it for global radio." Which she hasn't spoken on in at least a week.

"And... good. It should be dangerous. It's a weapon. I want it more dangerous."
Ishirou Ishirou shakes his head...

No this isn't going to work, it was silly to even try.  She doesn't feel regret, and would rather kill people than pay for her actions.  This isn't an allyship, but something of convenience for both of them...

He is sure she will try to get out of the moment her goal is met.  Fine, taking down this evil group is worth something... after that, it will be about making sure she doesn't escape.

"That's it.  I'm leaving now."
Remee Halcyon "Fine with me, I've got stuff to get back to."

She doesn't give him a chance to say anything more at that point - she's off somewhere else in the maze of arcade games, looking for a token dispenser, more concerned about that than anything else.
