Audrey Basque     It is afternoon! Just a bit after lunch, in fact.

As promised, Audrey was dropping by, having just finished an absolutely painful presentation in front of far too many students on the stars of Elibe and the astrological implications of stars being snuffed out of the sky by some manner of cataclysm, possible impacts on a unified model, and a variety of local myths and legends surrounding the facts.

The presentation mattered a lot less to her peers than the fact her right cheek is bruised up red and blue so vividly that there would be no mistake possible she got hit by something, or scraped her face along the ground.

But that's over now! Let them whisper all they like.

When Audrey arrives at the Library, she's still wearing the school uniform, courtesy of not stopping on the way except to avoid some thugs at the Warpgate. She's in the Library quickly, and doing her rounds of hellos on the way up the stairs-- yes, even to Binah!! which with her bruise might be a TERRIBLE idea-- before beginning the search for Angela. She supposes she should start at the top floor, if she's not in General Works already with Roland or something.
Angela It is afternoon!

Angela doesn't immediately show up to greet Audrey but she does send a message that she's on the Floor of Natural Sciences which is smack dab in the middle of the Library's floors.

"I am with Tiphereth here, you should come meet her. I think you two would get along splendidly--her body is so far the most different from her original and she's a bit upset with me because I changed her eyes back--"

The Floor of Natural Sciences looks like how one might place heaven on earth. There's tall windows allowing immense swaths of bright light into the floor. There's vibrant red carpenting, adding to a regal aura to the floor. Reading areas are segregated from the rest of the floor by small staircases leading to small tables with padded chairs nearby. It's quiet here except for...

"But WHY'D you change my eyes back to purple, those are ''Lisa's'' eyes." A young woman's voice is complaining as Audrey enters the floor.

"I designed the body as if 'you had grown up' without the inerference of Lobotomy Corp. Your eyes were purple. I have no idea why your Cognition Filtered appearance had green eyes to begin with. If you don't like it, just wear contacts."

Tiphereth and Angela round a corner. Tiphereth looks like a woman at the cusp of adulthood, with long blonde hair and purple eyes. Her Librarian uniform includes a yellow coat and a dull orange coat with two belts wrapped around the waist line. She has long black leggings and brown tied shoes, utilitarian in design.

Tiphereth comes up short. "Eh? Who'se this?" She frowns. "Shit, I don't have contacts right NOW Angela."

Angela ignores her. "Miss Audrey, this is Tiphereth. She is Carmen's unofficially adopted daughter and a fellow Sephirah--"

Tiphereth makes a face at being called a daughter of Carmen's.

"She is a capable individual so do not let her complain her way into complacence." Angela adds.

Tiphereth exhales out a sigh and offers her hand, "Nice to meet you. And nice to not have to look up at you either. So you're a ... new friend of the ... Angela?"

"She is a friend of the Angela." The AI confirms.
Audrey Basque     Oh, with Tiphereth? Already?

Was Angela getting faster at making the bodies?

Audrey makes her way back down to the Floor of Natural Sciences-- she wonders, for a moment, if this is where she might find volumes on astrology and astronomy, come to think of it-- finally reaching it to emit a low 'ooooh' at the floor's theming. She'd passed by it, but not explored it! It's the nicest so far, or at least, to her it is.

Shame she's barging into an argument though.

"O-Oh, hello Tiphereth. It's a pleasure to finally meet you! Angela said a lot of nice things about you, actually. And some slightly sad things. Mostly it was the nice things though!" she insists, to not ruin the mood.

"... and for what it's worth, your eyes are pretty," says the golden-blue starry eyed prodigy who would clearly know about pretty eyes, if she ever looked at hers to begin with.

    The Angela, though?
    She laughs a bit.

"Are you accelerating their returns, Angela? It feels like Binah wasn't even a week ago."
Angela Angela does seem like she's getting faster but she actually spent the most time working on Tiphereth by virtue of, well, she used to be like half this size. She was a kid when she died, but it's cruel to keep someone a child forever.

"...Yeah well I did ultimately vote for her didn't I..." Tiphereth says. "But she could do without sharing my baggage to strangers--"

"Audrey is not a stranger to ''me''." Angela supplies unhelpfully, allowing herself a little evil smirk but it fades when she turns back to Audrey. "It is less that I am accelerating their return, exactly. Rather, it is that Tiphereth, Binah, and Gebura took longer to restore for various reasons but I am pacing out the rest of the others so I can spend time acclimating each Sephirah to their new situation--and surroundings."

''I feel like Binah wasn't even a week ago.''

"...you brought back Binah before me? Jeeze..." Tiphereth is looking understanding--but disappointed all the same. She seems to know why it went that way--even she can put together why someone who fought FOR Angela would be restored before someone who fought against her, even if Tiphereth ultimately voted for Angela's compromise.

"I would have brought you back first but I was being cautious with the construction of your body. I was concerned you would not care for it."

A brief guilty sensation flickers behind Tiphereth's eyes. "...It's fine. I can just wear the contacts. Other than that it's perfect."

''Your eyes are pretty''

Tiphereth stares at Audrey. "...Are...are you flirting...?" She blusters out. "I'm not even used to being an adult yet so probably a bad idea?"

"Tiphereth. People can say nice things about your physical appearance without it being flirtation."
Audrey Basque     "W-W-- no! No!!"

Audrey's face proceeds to match her bruise in redness.

"W-Why does everyone think I-I'm like that?" She deflates a bit. "I was just... trying to reassure you about... n-nevermind," she blurts out, trying to flush out the flustered redness, which is also a good excuse to not get involved in their argument too much.

"A-Anyway, Angela, I brought the Playbricks like I said. Um. We can always take turns if Tiphereth wants to join us. The more the merrier. There's plenty of party-style games, or trivia games..." Would they be good at trivia games? She's not sure, especially with the state of the City and their past in L Corp.

"O-Oh! Actually, first... ah, this is your floor, right Tiphereth? Do you already know its contents well, or is that something you have to learn and get used to?"
Angela "...I'm not--I like how I look," Tiphereth explains to Audrey. "I don't ... I don't like the eyes because of reasons totally unrelated to how they look." She frowns at the idea of playing GAMES. "Aren't you a little old to play with toys?"

"It's a tool for relaxation, Tiphereth, consider this my first 'order' as Chief Librarian to join us. If you don't end up enjoying it I will release you."

She glances to Audrey and exhales, shaking her head. "She'll get accustomed to real adulthood quickly, just be patient with her and you'll see she's actually--" She covers Tiphereth's mouth with a hand. "Very sweet. Let's go up to General Works, we can 'play' there."

She starts dragging tiphereth to the elevator and answers for her, "She is not accustomed to the floor yet you caught us just as tiphereth had woken up, not even an hour before you arrived. But she will be."

Prying Angela's hand off her face tiphereth adds, "You're gonna regret making me game. I'll win so hard it'll hurt your self esteem."
Audrey Basque     Oh. This one stings even worse than Binah.

"I-It's okay if she doesn't want to, I mean... y-yeah they are just toys, so..." Just a bit of emotional bruising to go with the cheek, it's healthy, right?

But Angela insists, and far be it from Audrey's mind to attempt to dissuade her. They move towards the elevator, Audrey nodding and making a mental note the Library doesn't just give its patrons the knowledge to tend to it magically. That's, you know, helpful info. So the Sephirah really are just thrust into this too.

    At least Tiphereth's mood changed!

"O-Oh? Are you... competitive, about games?"
Just a bit of light back in Audrey's eyes?
This might be disastrous after all, for a different reason now.
Angela "No. It's fine." Angela says. "My Librarians are not allowed to intentionally sabotage all my carefully selected words to you, let alone accidentally." She says as if Tiphereth's accidental emotional bruising is worse because it is not intentional. "In this place you are allowed to game, Audrey, with moderation course."

She lets go of Tiphereth as they make their way into General Works.

"So." Angela says. "We can play here, yes? I will allow Tiphereth to go first because she is being recalitrant and then I will join in."

Tiphereth rolls her eyes at being called a competitive gamer. "No way, but you're making me play so I'm going to win."

"She is just competitive in general." Angela says. "Being seen as competent is important to her. And me." She says that like a warning...
Audrey Basque     Well she certainly had no intention too hide in a corner and play games at her WORKPLACE, but for the purposes of showing Angela it's different.

    "Alright," she concedes to Angela.

When they reach General Works, Audrey reaches into her pockets, pulling out two Playbricks, a bunch of cables and accessories, small boxes full of game cartridges and a few cartridges and-- yeah none of this should fit in those pockets, don't worry about it.

"I see. So... I'll have to try, is what you're saying," she side-eyes at Tiphereth. This is fine with her! She'd feel bad if she just kind of, kept winning effortlessly.

There's PLENTY of games to choose from, in every genre imaginable, so they definitely won't have any trouble finding things they like and are better at.

This is good, really. She needed this. Badly.
