AWftF: The War for Reptilon Begins
Date of Scene: 28 February 2015
Location: Reptilon <Rep>
Synopsis: Kakarot's army of Neo-Saiyans has initiated an attack against Genghis Rex's homeworld, Reptilon. The Confederacy, Union, and Red Ribbon Regiment respond.
Cast of Characters: Maya, 37, Staren, 83, 106, 114, 132, 568, 663, 691, 696, 721, 723, 724
Tinyplot: A Wish for the Future

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Freeport - one of Reptilon's major port cities.

Unfortunately, the city looks moreso like a giant aquatic demolition derby, as boats have crashed into one another, and one has even been shoved THROUGH another looking like some sort of bizarre modern art.

Dinosaucers have formed a blockade around the city and provide air cover, while massive Tyranno tanks roll into position, sending massive energy blasts flinging through the sky.

Most of the citizens of this town bear no markings of allegiance or show any military training, except one, an older Stegosaurus, wielding a massive wrench, stands defiant of the attacking Saiyans. This is Hex, chieftain of Freeport and no fan of either the Tyrannos or the DInosaucers. His daughter, Alexis (Lex), stays nearby her father, looking after the fleeing citizenry and ushering them to safety.

Smoke billows from bombed out buildings and dinosaurs of various shapes and sizes run for cover. The battle hasn't been going on for very long, but the might of the Neo-Saiyans empire has already been felt.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The city of Freeport is having a very bad day. Freeport might have expected trouble from the various factions around them, but no one really expects a blitzkrieg attack from Saiyans.

The first hint was the flare of a massive, glowing ki sphere in the air, shimmering like another moon.

The air cover struck moments later as the seas began to grow inexplicably rough, a flying group of Saiyans with red markings moving in a rough formation, using long-range Ki blasts to rake the outer defenses and the Dinosaucer air support.

Next, a fusillade of ki spheres blast against the walls, raining down into the port facilities and crashing into the city walls.

Then the ocean crashed , a massive fist erupting from the sea as a huge simian arm strikes out at the boats, attempting to knock them out of the way and establish a beach head. The Oozaru crests the waves, slouching towards Freeport like some raging, loathesome mega-monkey beast while other ground forces crash down, using the Oozaru for cover and studiously not looking up at the gleaming ki sphere in the distance.

Now, the long-ranged Ki blasts have focused on the tanks while the meat of the battle is joined. How long Freeport will hold out seems dubious.

Without backup, they are likely doomed.

Allo (724) has posed:
Reptilon was not unfamiliar with fighting or war. But this sudden and violent blitz was something that had not been expected. Or possibly just not noticed with the two primary factions that were constantly at odds with each other. As it was the Dinosaucers weren't really comfortable with the Tyrannos rolling their tanks in, but after their efforts to dissaude or negotiate with the attackers proved futile, it wasn't avoidable. It was firepower they sorely needed to hold the blockades they were forming to give dinosaurs time to clear from the danger zone. The Tyrannos could go in cannons blazing if they wanted, the Dinosaucers would focus on getting the civilians out of harms way.

A pile of rubble was still smoking from where it fell into the street when it started to shudden. It creaked and groaned, and then exploded into a pile of rubble as a massive fist smashed through it. Followed by a second following it, grabbing the sides, and then with a massive grunt the anthropormophic sauropod they belonged to shoved the piles aside to make and opening through. "There you go!"

"Thanks Brontothunder. Keep an eye on our backs." With a grim expression on his features Allo marched through the opening made by his second in command, and headed straight for what's probably going to be an unleasant confrontation. And it's not even with the enemies attacking the city. "Hex!" Making sure the chief of Freeport was safe was his primary concern as much as he was not going to enjoy having to deal with the saurians dislike for both sides of Reptilon's conflicts.

Cell (696) has posed:
Mayday messages are a mercenary army's best friend. The Red Ribbon Regiment makes a killing off them - stranded soldiers fighting terrorists and warlords in exotic lands are practically their bread and butter. The process is always the same - someone desperately calls for help, the Red Ribbon sends a crack team after a brief price negotiation, and the situation gets...aggressively resolved. It doesn't matter if it's world government agents, big business-owners, or - apparently - space dinosaurs. The Red Ribbon Regiment helps anyone who pays except Saiyans.

Their leader has a thing about Saiyans.

Speaking of said leader, Commander Green - alias Cell, alias Android 21 - is here. He hovers high over the battlefield in his very nice suit, the Red Ribbon Regiment logo emblazoned on his breast pocket, gazing down at the battlefield with an inhuman look of delight. His brow-ridges twitch cheerfully as he watches the Saiyans tear apart Freeport's walls and air forces, excitement growing with every moment.

Next to him, the gargantuan figure of his second-in-command - his brother, Android 16 - dangles, only slightly larger than Cell himself. Android 16 glances sidelong at Cell as the Saiyans move with military might.

"Has the payment come through?" Cell asks, unable to keep the edge out of his horrible, buzzing voice. Sixteen nods.

"Yes. Requested payment from the Reptillons has been confirmed. We can begin operations now."

Cell would lick his lips if he had them. "Excellent. Let's go reinforce the line."

     "Affirmative."

The two sons of Gero descend from the sky along the saurian defensive line. The Reptillons may be momentarily confused by the appearance of the green-skinned insect-monster in a tuxedo and his large red-haired companion, but there's no confusion on Cell's face. He stares into the face of his enemy - of his /hated/ enemy - with nothing but certainty on his face. His tail twitches.

"This is outside the truce," Cell confirms with Sixteen, "According to the wording, isn't it?"

"Yes," Sixteen nods, "That is affirmative."

     "Excellent."

The biomonster turns to the Dinosaurs. "You, you, you," he says, "Go tell your leader the Red Ribbon Regiment is here, find yourself a series of extremely heavy guns, and start aiming for that moonlight. You, you," he gestures at two more, "Get your men into a prong formation, flying v, Pteradactyl Beak - make this with your tanks."

Cell draws a V in the area before thumbing his finger at a final dinosaur. "You, go coordinate with your air force. You're going to collapse without military leadership and if nobody else is taking control, tell them to reroute all the radio signals through my earpiece."

"You paid for the best," Cell adjusts his tie and turns back to the Saiyans, "You get the best."

"Shall I begin assault protocols?" Android 16 asks.

"Yes, dear brother. I think you should."

"Affirmative," Sixteen replies in his stoic voice. His hands distend, transforming into blasters. Each blaster fires off a rapid series of ki blasts at the approaching Saiyan line - digging a trench, as it were, to slow their expanse.

Meanwhile, Cell readies himself for a feat.

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
     "The fuck?"

Standing on an outcropping several miles away from the battle, Beelzebumon watches in stunned disbelief at what he sees happening... but not for the reason one would expect.

"Since when the hell did Vegeta start subscribing to sound tactics? Doesn't he usually just swing his mighty dick around and expect it to solve all his problems?"

From behind him, his daemonic motorcycle Behemoth rumbles and growls angrily, prompting Beelz to turn and step over to the machine, "We're going, we're going! No need to get your tailpipe in a knot. Just wasn't expecting Geetz to, ya know, learn."

Optimus Prime (568) has posed:
The emergency broadcast has gone out and while the Autobot Commander has been quiet as of late on the more public knowledge, he has been rather busy with other internal matters. Yet when the signal goes off that there are those in danger as an entire area has fall under attack.

The Matrix holder will not ignore the cry for help. While he may not use his trailer often these days, it is sometimes best suited for times when quick reaction time is loaded. For if any Union members want to load in, they can, as it seems the Autobot Commander has no plans for front seat drivers given how quickly everyone will more then likely need to bail out when they get there.

Once everyone is loaded, Optimus Prime transforms and rolls for the warp-gate setting the destination for the very area that is under attack. Though once they get there-- that is when everything seems to be going to slag. Ki blasts in the air, explosions across the city and no real idea who was the enemy and who were the ones to be protecting.

Beyond first priority-- figuring out who was in charge, getting with them, and keeping the civilians safe. That was his plan. As soon has his tires hit the world's ground, he transformed and pulled out his plasma rifle. The Trailer opened up to let everyone else out. The Autobot Commander placed his hand up to his comm and sent out a transmission, trying to see who he could ping the one who sent the transmission in the first place. >>"This is Optimus Prime of the Union Forces. If you are getting this, please respond. We will be moving to your location. I repeat, if you are recieving this. Please respond."<<

With his hand lowering down, he looks over at the other members of the Union who came along or are arriving. "Keep your heads low, hopefully we'll meet up with the one who called for the emergency. Move out a bit, but keep your heads low." Easy for them to do, not so easy for a thirty foot Cybertronian, who was already heading for the city. Clicking the comm again.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
The next thing to descend from the sky is a ship that looks a hell of a lot like Frieza's, but no, closer inspection will note that it lacks the large window on top. It's -Cooler's-.

It stops at least one-hundred feet above the city, the roof opening up as Vegeta himself flies out, arms crossed as his voice booms over the ship's microphone. "I am Prince Vegeta, the Ruler of all Saiyans. You will cease this nonsense at once, or I will declare you weaklings enemies and traitors of the Saiyan Empire!"

This is followed by his own saiyans, all wearing different colors and variations of armor, spilling out of his ship and floating around like a large hive of bees.

Maya has posed:
Prime isn't alone from the Union, Maya's one to respond she's known of the Sayain race for some time. Them using far more human style tactice on top of htier impressive fighting ability is very bad news. It's also troubling, what sort of leader who would think out side the box in such a way as that? Who would have broken the Sayain culture norms and be able to keep a force like this together? Even if the people of this world are an enemy? She knows how Sayains invade they will leave nothing alive.

She had been loded into prime, this brings back some old memories she'll get out the moment he moves to transform however.

"Okay we're dealing with Sayains and using tatics, Prime? We're dealing with an visionary likely by Sayain standards here if they can keep a force together and get them to use more level headed tactics we got a hell of a fight on our hand."

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter may be a newcomer to assisting the Union, but she's certainly not going to sit out when the call comes. This is exactly the kind of things that superheroes are for. Actually, this is kind of big even for someone like her. She's a little nervous. She hasn't been doing the whole cape thing for very long by /any/ standard - not just with the Union. She hasn't even had powers for all that long.

This is also the first time she's ridden in part of an animate robot. So there's that.

When the trailer opens, Glitter shoots out. She goes almost straight up, her flight leaving a short-lived contrail of sparkles that mark her location whether she wants to or not, and elects to stay reasonably high. Some of the attackers are shooting from up there, after all - they have red markings, she notes, and wonders if it means anything. Probably.

This is where Glitter's inexperience arguably /does/ help, or at least doesn't confuse her. It doesn't surprise her that Saiyans are fighting like this because she's never seen Saiyans of any sort fight. For all she knows they always come out with ki laser artillery and... uh...

"Is that a laser King Kong?" Glitter asks herself as she approaches the city from the air. Like Optimus, her first priority is keeping civilians safe; unlike Optimus, she is not a giant robot and has to use other methods.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
The transport ship for Yari and her one hundred Garlean troopers is a big, black, ugly hunk of craft. Inwardly, the ninja thinks it's hideous. But it can enter space, and that's why she's chosen it. The well-armed craft is filled with men and women in black and red readying weapons of various sorts, checking equipment, and generally getting ready for war. Yari, dressed in full battle uniform and helmet, turns to regard her troops.

"We are going in blind, honorable soldiers of the Empire. Our duty will to be the Confederacy's eyes and ears. Priority is information, no needless death. No heroes. Make the Emperor proud and come home alive!"

The big, massive craft deftly avoids the anti-aircraft and a majority of the saiyan-based bombardment thus far as the chaos only increases. The ship's sensors kick online, and Yari walks to the front of the ship. Using her magitek armlet, she begins transmitting aerial shots of the battlefield: from the dinosaucers and Freeport city, to the saiyan troopers assaulting it and the reinforcements being given from the Red Ribbon army.

Her craft touches down just outside fo the city. Troops quickly start to pour out, and after hearing orders from the Field Marshal, begin to hail Freeport's troopers even as the soldiers divide up into squads. Yari herself as well as a Mi'qote trooper and several others start to head for the direct frey, assuming they get in contact with Freeport's forces.

"Soldiers of Reptilon! This is Confederate Ensign Yari Takane. Requesting permission to join the current battle. You will not be harmed." She barks out. All around her, troops both huddle defensively around her transport, and fire-teams of three also form up. After a thought, she barks again, hailing the locals.

"We have field medics. We can spare a few for any wounded soldiers and citizens. Respond!"

And then into the hell of war the Garleans march, her soldiers fanning out and finding cover from the bombardment as they may, every squad offering tactical information to the offensive.

Staren has posed:
Once it has, presumably, been explained that Reptilon is not just Ghengis Rex's base of operations but that there are also innocent civilians and /enemies/ of the infamous Tyrano here, Staren is much more amenable to helping!

Research and development may be more enjoyable, but Staren is quite equipped for direct combat. Especially when the size and composition of the enemy are such that you don't need to worry about using weapons that are too big...

There's a glint of sunlight off something in the distance, which then resolves into what looks like a jet fighter approaching at about mach two and a half.

Staren looks at the zoomed-in view from his cameras. Saiyans? The heck? The following radio conversation is... confusing. Staren assumes, for now, that some unaffiliated army either from an existing or new world is behind this -- The discovery of its origin is of less immediate importance than saving the city, though. The Oozaru is the biggest target, and the one Staren expects to be best equipped to fight. He /could/ fire enough missiles to attack the entire Saiyan force at once, but that might provoke a concentrated counterattack he could /not/ defend against. So he opens fire with the gatling railgun, sending a hail of metal at hypersonic speeds that he /hopes/ will be enough to tear into the flesh of the giant beast and get its attention away from whatever buildings it's destroying. Staren then puts his speed to use, diving for the Oozaru and trying to dodge any mouthbeams, before suddenly arms and legs deploy out from under the fuselage and wings in a flurry of tiny moving parts, and he tries for a tight partial-circle around the giant monkey and makes a swipe for the tail with his beam saber, following Cell's information about the 'weak point'. He /could/ get lucky enough for that to actually work, right?

Yuri Stinson (106) has posed:
Confederate... Union... Factionless. To the Unshackled Monster, it makes no difference. He will go where the many beat down the few unjustly. He walks where the voices of those in defiance scream out against the oppressors. He fights for the rebels who will use their last breath to scream out a gasping cry for someone to carry their cause. Rebellion knows not race, and rebellion is a belief to itself.

It was only a cry for backup, but something about it called to the Unshackled Monster. Part of his concept gave him a resonation deep down to let him know when a situation might best be served by his particular brand of disproportionate response. Not all rebellions or battles would ever need a monster such as him. He was only for the most desperate and dire of situations.

Clad entirely in ragged cloaks that cover his entire body from the shoulders down, a hooded figure that looks totally out of place in Freeport shuffles through the streets. He stands out for any number of reasons: He's about half as tall as some of the taller residents of the city. He's mostly human in appearance. Where he walks, a rattling like chains follows him. He seems almost eerily indifferent to the utter chaos and siege going on around him.

Slowly, very slowly, he walks over towards the people who seem to be leadership. That being Allo and Brontothunder. He comes to a stop in front of them, very slowly tilting his head back to look up, up, uuuuup at the leaders. His right hand comes up to pull back his hood, the tattered cloaks still bundled around his body and swaying.

His face is human, but his eyes lack emotion or light to them. It's the kind of stare you see in someone so deeply scarred he has become numb to true emotion, and instead places a mask on. He carefully opens his mouth and speaks:

"Your city sieged, the Unshackled Beast wonders if you wish for aid," He tilts his head to the side. He's not yelling, but somehow the voice carries easily against the sounds of battle, "Will you rebel against those who wish to bring you low? Will you and yours defy them at any cost? Will you cry out in defiance no matter the storm which bears down upon your city?"

He tilts his head in the opposite direction and then asks, "I will understand if your answer is no. Not all battles should be won at any cost. But should this one? Whether you wish to summon the Rebellious Monster will be yours and yours alone."

Despite looking human, it's not hard to tell there is something distinctly not human at all. An almost unsettling cadence to his words and a disquieting distance in his voice.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
The sky above Freeport darkens. Tendrils of black stretch through the air, weaving into a thick blanket that blots out any light granted by the celestial bodies above. The darkness of the void stretches from horizon to horizon, and in the sky forms the blood-red crook of a crescent moon like a reaper's scythe waiting to strike.

Normally this would herald the appearance of Castlevania, but Dracula hasn't brought the entire castle with him this time. No, the Field Marshal of the Confederacy appears as a lone figure flying through the sky, gliding on the broad, spiked dragon's wings his cape has transformed into. The Lord of Darkness is quick to descend from above, swooping down to come to a crouched, hard landing near Allo. Whether or not the appearance of the towering vampire lord strikes surprise into the dinosaurs nearby is a secondary concern: Dracula rises immediately, standing as a looming presence as his blazing eyes remain fixated on the approaching Saiyan army. His leer does not waver as he looks over the troops he can see and pieces together their tactics for his own consideration.

Only after a few moments are spared for that, Dracula's wings warp back into a billowing cape, and his gaze turns aside to Allo, disregarding nearly everything else around him for the moment. "Dracula Vlad Tepes, Field Marshal of the Confederacy," he introduces sharp and quick. "Get your civilians out of the way, if any remain. Confederate aid is incoming. Do you have any forces left to counter this attack?"

Quick and to the point. Dracula's not joining in the battle just yet; his first order of business is to figure out what they have to work with, and what kinds of protections they need to keep up. Know the enemy, then know what he has; a tactician doesn't simply leap into battle immediately.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Hex lashes his spiked-tail behind him. He keeps his eye on the oncoming Ozarru, clutching his wrench.

Lex nods to Allo, tossing him a cold stare of her own "Figured you'd show up ... you wanna tell me what's going on and why the harbor looks like a forest after a tornado?"

Hex turns his head to Allo, "A heads up would have been nice ... good thing I have ears in the senate ... and ..."

The glint of a Tyranno tank turret catches Hex's gaze, "Aw slag ... What are THEY doing here?"

Hex points to Cell and his fellow androids, "We got help! We don't need you Moronodons helping these TailForBrains invaders tear up my city!"

A massive shadow falls over Freeport as something HUGE breaks through the atmosphere. High above the city hovers a giant metal Tyrannosaurus, cobbled together from various found tech from all across the multiverse. While not nearly as large, its design seems to have been heavily influenced by the legendary Cybertronian: Trypticon! However, the brilliant crimson color and the voice that blares out from the titanic war machine heralds the arrival of Reptilon's king.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?!?!"

Hex glances up and then tosses a LOOK at Allo, "Oh fug me! Now HE'S back!?!"

Kakarot (723) has posed:
RED TEAM:

Glitter stays high in the air, and that means she gets targeted by the Saiyan aerial specialists. They break off, quickly trying to harry her and blast at her with short, quick ki beams. Are they testing her before trying to go for a kill shot? Another pair of red team members spot the incoming Garlean transport. One of them holds up a hand to a Scouter, the HUD glittering.

GREEN TEAM:

The Garlean transport craft comes under a coordinated bombardment after the red team spotters notice it, the ki strikes attempting to catch them as flat footed as possible. The massive metal Tyrranosaurus, however, begins getting the majority of the long-range bombardment. It's hard to miss something THAT big arriving. Or perhaps in general.

BLUE TEAM:

Android 16 fires, the ki blasters tearing up a trench in the ground. The Oozaru doesn't seem to care, stepping over it, but the non-transformed Saiyan fighters are forced to contend with it. Several of them mover to take cover, breaking off into pairs and leaping into the trench itself, using it to protect against incoming fire and using it to push forward. Staren fires at the Oozaru with his gatling rail-cannon, the strikes impacting the massive beast and causing it to roar in irritation more than pain. The counterstrike with the mouth-laser is predicted. Oozaru tend to be fairly elemental: You hurt them, they crush you. The incoming strike from Staren, however, sheares into the tail, but doesn't sever it. The response is a massive, echoing howl as it strikes out at Staren, attempting to grab him and simply crush him in is hands in agony-induced rage.

Meanwhile, Vegeta's call goes out amongst the Saiyans. Some of them look in Vegeta's direction when it won't cause them to look up at the ki moon in the black sky, but they do not respond.

Instead, something else responds. "Vegeta? Ruler of all Saiyans? Wow, that's news." There is a blur, and a slim Saiyan man in red-colored armor drops into view, facing Vegeta and hovering in the air with ease.

"You're supposed to be dead. I can't decide if /he/ will be happy or disappointed." A woman in green Saiyan armor arrives next to him, hanging there and looking over the battlefield. "Too bad we're Neo-Saiyans, not Saiyans. You can keep your old and busted ones. Or hey, better yet, you can join the winning team."

There is a ponderous presence as a building below crumbles, and the bald, silent Saiyan in blue armor rises to look over Vegeta and his warriors. His expression flickers, perhaps contemplative as he looks at the mass of warriors behind him, and then directly to the man who calls himself Ruler of all Saiyans.

"Hrnnnnn." Is his eloquent response.

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
"Welp, time to get stuck in, now that I know who the fuck is shooting at who."

With a loud roar, Beelz and his hellish ride tear off towards the port city, making no attempt to hide his approach as he does so. In fact, he seems to go out of his way to be noticed as he tears into the Saiyan's flank, his guns blazing as slugs fly through the air.

     "GET YOU SOME! AAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!"

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"Neo-Saiyans? What kind of pretentious nonsense is that?" Vegeta looks up to one of his men, then the transformed ape men begin to descend with the intent of defending buildings from -other- Oozaru.

Vegeta, however, is still distracted by the man and woman. "Dead? Hah! I'm immortal, morons. I don't care who you are or where you're from, -I- am your ruler." He holds his hand out, aiming it at the man. "Now, you will bow, tell your men to surrender, or I will make an example of you. Or maybe you're special, maybe you've reached the level of Super Saiyan? If so, I'd like to see. It's always nice to have a challenge when I'm putting someone in their place."

Allo (724) has posed:
Honestly Allo had not expected -this- much of a response to the distress call. Reptilon was on the opposite side of Earth's orbit (as far as he still knew of) and last time the Dinosaucers had been there they still had not perfected this sort of quick space travel. Clearly some of these arrivals, much like the original attackers, had to be aliens. The mercenary response he had expected, and had made sure a quick payment was ready for the desperate need. But where did the -rest- of them all come from?

Lex glares at him. Hex yells at him. And other people start showing up as well. Despite detesting the meeting Allo stands unflichingly through Hex's first triade. He doesn't even have to look to know the old dino is pointing at the tanks. "They are here because this is their planet too.... and likely just don't want someone else conquering it first," he adds somewhat sardonically at the end. Then turned his attention to Dracula's appearance. "What we have readily available is what is already here. Any assistance at this point is appreciated." It wasn't a time to ask questions.

Brontothunder cranes his long serpentine neck down towards Yuri. "I don't know half of what you said, but it don't matter. These strangers are tearing up our planet. Our world. Our HOME." He smacks one of his massive fists into the ground. "Of course we're going to fight for it!.. Speaking of which." He stands up, turns, and grabs part of the debris pile he had tore open earlier, heaving it up with both hands and flings it at the nearest squad of attackers. "GET OFFA OUR PLANET YOU DAMN DIRTY APES!"

We'll... just... blame the previous time the Dinosaucers spent on Earth and the attempts by the Secret Scouts to teach them about earth culture, using a lot of movies and other things.

The Garlean forces would find their efforts to set up medical help and aid the evacuations would find themselves getting some help. Falling into old Triceracop habits Tricero had rallied up what local authority and emergency responders he could, and it's the armored certatopsian that waves to her and her troops and shouts at her in a voice that wouldn't sound out of place in an old noir detective film. "The evacuation points are this way!" Much like Allo, he's not bothering to question where the help is coming from at this point, they're just glad to -get- it.

Allo turns as if to respond to Hex's last triade... but stops short in it to look up at the shadow looming overhead. And then THAT voice bellows out of it.

...

"... As if we didn't have enough problems..." He finally rumbles, feeling an internal contension over Genghis Rex somehow showing up when Reptilon was under attack as a good sign or a bad one....

Cell (696) has posed:
The key to breaking a large, organized, heavily-competent army is to break the large, organized, heavily-competent ranks. Cell's mind runs at the speed of a supercomputer, racing through avenues and potentialities. There are a lot of reasons to spare Saiyans from the Ki Moonlight, but in an organized raid, the only real reason is that they couldn't be trusted not to muck up the organized part of the raid. Oozaru that could be organized were too powerful to hold back on an offensive raid. Oozaru that /couldn't/ be held back were...

Problems. Moreover, Oozaru were a huge power spike. They would provide Cell something to enjoy. Something to savor. As the Saiyans on the ground react to Vegeta's presence without looking up, that basically clinches it.

Cell would lick his lips if her had them.

Cell plants two fingers together, sticking them upwards towards the black sky. A sudden ball of ki surges into his hand, pulsing with a brilliance not unlike the one high in the sky. Vegeta and Serori will probably understand Cell's plan within an instant.

Android 16 certainly does. The big man-machine broadcasts a warning to all friendly forces in the area as he lays down intense, oppressive covering fire. 16 has more than enough power to spare. He's almost as strong as Cell is.

As Cell's little ki ball spikes, a flare of Vegeta and Nappa's power signatures flashes outwards from the biomonster. His ki aura radiates with countless screaming souls as angles it just right.

Then, in his other hand, he readies a second one.

"Follow the birdy," Cell pracically cackles as he throws the balls of ki outwards. The Ki Moons hang low to the ground - one dangling over the center of the Reptillon city, the other close to the center of the Neo-Saiyan Army. No matter which way they look, the Saiyans are going to be seeing moonlight if they want any kind of tactical awareness at all.

Meanwhile, Cell records Serori's conversation on J-IC Moderated for a new ringtone.

Android Sixteen gives him a long look. Cell shrugs and laughs his horrible bug laugh, then tears forward, flying into the Saiyan forces. His tail rises and slashes outwards - any unfortunate Saiyans caught by it are going to, well...

...'get drunked', as the common parlance goes.

Sixteen, meanwhile, reroutes the defenders' comms into his own. Sixteen begins rattling off orders, shifting troops left and right, moving them into positions to guard evacuees and prepare for the ensuing chaos. Weak points are highlighted on controlled Saiyans over the HUD - tails and eyes - and tanks are given the order to fire on those points with ruthless, mechanical precision.

This is why Sixteen is second-in-command.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter was expecting to get shot at, but then again she's working on a very simple strategy: better her than the local defenders. She can take it.

Though she is a little unsure of how long she can take it. Team Red turning their beams on her means she has to swerve around, and she's not actually that good a dogfighter. Her movements are unusual for most fliers; she actually stops for a moment, swings herself left and right on a trail of sparkles, /then/ jets forward again. One of the beams hits her shoulder, or a point right next to it, and causes her forcefield to become momentarily visible as an opaque white shell. The short beam doesn't punch through, but every hit is still a hit.

Okay, she thinks to herself. Stop them without actually killing them. She's pretty sure she can do that, as long as she doesn't get overwhelmed. Glitter pulls up into a hover, killing a lot of her forward speed. She raises one hand, pulling it back before thrusting it forward, fingers spread wide. "You should stop fighting!" she calls. "People will negotiate!"

The air in front of Glitter, and out a good thirty feet to either side, immediately starts to sparkle like a handful of stars. When she thrusts her hand forward, it sweeps out, trying to arc through the flying team and break up their formation. It can't possibly kill a Saiyan, but it can sure throw them around like tenpins if they don't get out of the way of the glittering wave!

Only after that does she look down, trying to reorient. How far did she get in?

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
The aerial attack by the Saiyans is met with some success, the black, ugly generic transport taking several hits. But the Garlean pilot is an ace, and manages to land it without too much damage. The guns on the thing are no longer working, and it'll be a wild ride lifting off, but this pilot's earning a commendation. Emperor help anyone who kills the man in Yari's mind.

But the RED TEAM spies the transport. As troops pour out, the reading for the majority of troopers are that of professional, well-trained soldiers. A few show potential to rise above that, likely those in some form of command chain. But one in particular stands out.

Yari's level, thanks to her own aetheric potential and ninja training, certainly stand out. The helmet she wears is also distinct with its curving horns, and the way others seem to regard her. This may well be the person in charge of the group. While she doesn't quite lead the charge in the frantic fanning out of scouts and medics, she's in the thick of things as she coordinates with her superiors.

Said horned helmet gets Brontothunder's neck craned at her. She pauses, troops setting up on buildings with binoculars, and relaying information. A salute is given to the long-necked soldier, her tail flicking.

"Understood, Sir! My troops are able to gather information and we have healers, as our specialties. We can also counter fast-attack infantry!"

Tricero's words catch her, and then the Centurion focuses. She quickly orders Medicus troops alongside those defending the evacuues. Civilians and wounded soldiers alike would find conventional medical techniques backed up by a handful of magic users in her unit.

Then Yari and her troops move forward, half committed to information gathering and evacuation, while the rest take up sniper positions with bows and rifles, as well as a squad of troops led by herself.

Yari and her squad takes note of the Red Team attackers. There's a recognition of similar goals, and several snipers from various position attack the team of scouts with arrows and bullets. More than one of those arrows are poisoned with numbing chemicals. NOtably, most strikes are aimed for limbs or otherwise to incapacitate. A few gunners have rubber rounds, too.

As for Yari herself? The ninja-ess and a mi'qote woman both leap atop bombed out buildings in easy motions. The mi'qote grins.

"Oi...so I can't kill 'em, but...OIII, SAIYAN ASSHOLES! THE KITTY'S GONNA CUT OFF YER..."

Even might-leap for some of the fast-attack squad, Yari smacks her subordinate on the head.

"Trooper. Don't be so loud."

It's then that the Mi'qote's sharp knife tries to literally cut off some poor attacking saiyan's fingers, and Yari aims a leaping kick to slam another into the ground as her troops continue to fire at the offending fellow scouts.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Allo's response isn't a heartening one. Dracula frowns, but gives a firm nod to the dinosaur. "Communicate with our forces to organize your evacuation. They'll work with you as needed. In the meantime, we will hold off the Saiyans and attempt to reach a conclusion we can /all/ benefit from."

That's that. Cell suggests a plan, and Dracula can't help but agree to it. With all the pieces in place and the situation arranged, now he can enter into the fray himself. Dracula lifts into the air, robes of shadow and blood billowing in an absent wind. He levitates high into the air, rising, rising, arms spreading wide, eyes shutting. At last he stops, reaching a point several meters off the ground. As Cell's ki moons go out to send the Neo-Saiyan forces into chaos, Dracula himself becomes his own force of Chaos. A blinding light suddenly flares out from the Lord of Darkness, and when it fades away, Dracula is transformed.

A towering demon hovers in the air, only slightly shorter than an Oozaru himself. Rolling blood forms its body, held together by plates of armor like volcanic stone and dripping out of the cracks between them. Four broad wings extend from its shoulderblades and lower back, armored plates forming a mockery of angelic feathers in stark contrast to the horns curling back from its head.

Dracula moves into action immediately, slamming down in front of the attacking Oozaru force and beating his wings to create a brief hurricane wind around himself. As Vegeta's forces stand ready to prevent the soon-to-be berserk Oozarus from pushing further inward, Dracula charges forward just above the ground toward the single controlled Oozaru. His hand pulls back, armored plates bound into a tight fist, and with a tremendous roar, he delivers a solid /punch/ to the side of the Oozaru's head. Bloody mist trails in the wake of his fist, throbbing and pulsing like an ethereal artery before splattering into crimson fluid on the ground below.

Optimus Prime (568) has posed:
The Autobot Commander stays on the move, even as Ki blasts go off and he watches buildings fall under the attack. The union Lieutenant, suddenly slides across the ground before bracing himself under a part of the falling building protecting some people who were about to get caught under it. "Go!" He bellows out, before pushing it off the side.

His HUD flickers as he tries to get a general idea of the layout, including how far away the original signal source was. Optimus Prime yet side steps as he watches the Saiyans in the air move ahead and while he could clearly taken an open shot, he had no desire to open fire unless he had too. His own weapons could easily kill and he had no desire for blood on his hands. Not after what he already said on the joint comm.

As he continues to make his way he does not some of the Saiyans attempts to harass a transport and picks up a piece of fallen support beam before chucking it in that direction, aiming to block off the Saiyans for a moment from the Garlean Transport. Including moving only a few more steps, to move aside a bit more rubble with an easy swipe of his hand, so more people could escape, making sure to position himself as a living shield encase anyone got any bright ideas.

Yuri Stinson (106) has posed:
    "I understand."

Yuri turns from Allo and slowly walks away. He's heading out towards the front of the battle, taking his time. He shuts his eyes and debates internally against his own concepts. The loud woman wants these 'Saiyans' kept alive, but the Adorjani impulses within him care not for their lives, and the Rebellious Monster thrives on the blood of the oppressors.

It doesn't take him too terribly long to reach the battle lines, considering the forces upon the city. The Oozarus are what grab his attention above all else. Massive monsters require massive monsters to fight. His machine could manage, but for the issue of scale. Size, even at equal power, would be to his disadvantage in preventing destruction. He smiles. In this single instance, he is glad FIA will not see this.

    "Monster in Men's Hearts Shintai."

He says it in a calm tone. The Shintai actually has no given name, at present, but for Yuri it felt poetic.

There is no greater monster that can be manifested than the atrocities of men at war. These are the monsters that will destroy eachother, but the Rebellion understands that these are also the monsters which most soundly crush enemies and break sieges. The True Form of Rebellion is reflected in the principles of this Shintai. It is horrifying and violent, lacking in grace or finesse.

As Yuri steps forward, energy swirls up around him. First his machine forms, sleek and elegant. And then his machine shatters, distorting andmutating. It warps and grows, becoming animalistic in design and monstrous in form. Its size becomes titanic and it slowly becomes terrible to behold.

Where once a man stood, there is a gigantic beast-monster, with claws ablaze and eyes glowing. It violently lunges forward, trying to help those engaging the Great Apes. It aims to wrap its horrifying jaws around the beast's throat and, if it can find purchase, slowly clamp down like the beast the Shintai truly is.

Of course, the Oozaru will almost certainly have something to say about this arrangement, so it may not work as intended.

Serori (37) has posed:
Something bright snaps into sudden existence high above the battlefield.

Trailing a bold and eye-catching scarlet cape from her shoulders, dressed in pristine white armor made brighter yet with its silver pauldrons and abdominal plates, Serori stands mid-air in a graceful yet aloof pose meant to garner attention -- but not return it. The Saiyan Queen does not heed mere /warriors/.

The fiery golden aura she sports as a Super Saiyan surrounds her body in a flickering, half-seen tempest of power. The emerald of her eyes is hateful and fierce. The yellow-bright hair sweeping back from her sharp countenance is stiff and crackling with the same energy giving new life to her petite body.

Streaking through the skies above her, their running lights as bright and visible as blue, white, and crimson comets burning up in the atmosphere, the Confederacy's air support arrives as a unified host. Their engines scream. Their hulls flash the Confederacy's insignia. All respond to Serori's command to proceed at once to bombard the Neo-Saiyan forces, and to distract and divert the Neo-Saiyans from making any attack on the troop transports speeding in behind their destructive swathe.

The airships bearing Confederate soldiers to the planet's surface don't touch down until they're behind the line formed by Vegeta's oozaru.

Yes, some of these ships will be destroyed in their initial arrival -- the Neo-Saiyans are too good to let all pass by untouched -- but it's still a rather impressive entrance.

Staren has posed:
The drag from the arms and legs starts to slow Staren down as he swings around behind the oozaru, but he's still going quite fast as he flies away.

That giant monkey hand did /not/ look like something he wants to get touched by, though. Staren considers his options. Consideration is probably interrupted by more beam blasts -- he returns to fighter mode and flies what he hopes is outside the monkey's accurate range to get a moment to think.

He didn't sever the tail. But it was clearly more easily hurt more /there/ than elsewhere... The answer is obvious: Homing missiles! Staren circles around for another attack run. This time, from about a mile away, he fires a salvo of seven missiles from his gunpod, and then follows up with a stream of railgun fire to hopefully keep the saiyan... no, /Neo/-Saiyan distracted! He'll peel away before getting close to melee range though, so that he only has to dodge the mouth beams this time!

The missiles, meanwhile, circle around the Oozaru and then try to ram in around the base of the tail at mach 2 -- they're designed to penetrate the target and then explode inside, rather than functioning as area bombardment explosives.

    He hopes this works...

Maya has posed:
Maya has made up her mind at this pint she's gong to go after the ranged combatnat she's made for it. She casts a few spells upon her self. She's now moving to go bail out the transport at this poit. Moving at high speed thanks to speed spell she cast upn her self she's trying to get up close to the bombarder she does open fire with her rifle as she move,s but she's not shooting bullts the built in laser is firing off blasts trying to keep them off balance and get their attention on her.

"I know how you operate I'm not about to allow this!"

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
As Tarpits III cannons attached to it's hull wheel around. Green lasers of the Imperial Star Destroyer variety begin firing on the Neo-Saiyan attackers, sadly they have the same imperial targeting systems that are impressive but not super accurate!

The massive ship lowers from the sky, floating ominously over Freeport. As Brontothunder works on another huge boulder to toss, he hears a loud WHUMP behind him. He turns to find somebody eye level with him, pink skinned and approximately 3/4 of an inch taller than the DInosaucer, "S'up Shorty, need some help?"

The two sauropods lift the gargantuan piece of debris and hurl it towards a nearby attacker, as this happens, Brahcio shouts.

"FINALLY, BRACHIO HAS COME BACK TO REPTILON!"

Tarpits III sets down outside Freeport, continuing to fire on the airborne attackers! The center ramp opens and down comes Genghis Rex and Ankylo. Rex peers is horror at his battered homeworld, then pulls off his jacket and hands it to Ankylo, "Plesio, get Tarpits ready for bonding!"

Plesio hisses back, "That won't be possssssssible! The main neural link has been damaged. It'd lobotomizzzzzze you!"

Rex roars "THEN FIX IT! FIX IT NOW!"

A tyranno branded tank pulls up next to Tarpits III, the hatch opens and a black skinned Spinsaur pokes his head out, "You? Err ... what is going on? You're supposed to be dead .... you're all supposed to be dead ..."

Rex snarls at the tank driver as he spies Allo and Hex. The Tyranno commander breaks into a quick stride, dodging flying debris until he is face to face with the two 'chieftains.' "You called for help, help is here ..."

He taps the "T" badge on his chest and transforms into his massive Tyrannosaur form, and lowers his massive head till he is eye level with Allo.

"Well?" he rumbles.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Brontothunder hauls up a chunk of debris and hauls it directly at the invading Neo-Saiyans, the impact scattering them and knocking a pair over. One of them looks like they took the brunt of the hit, armor shattered and limbs broken from the colossal, unexpected and hilariously memetically appropriate strike. The other member of the pair grabs the wounded and drags them off of the front line, pulling back.

Toma grins, and shrugs. "I dunno, I like it. Neo-Saiyans. Just say it with me, it'll grow on you! Neeeeeeeo-Saiyans!"

"Shut up, Toma." Zuki replies. "Anyway, immortality is kind of relative. If you think you're going to make an example of us, we're going to have to give you an idea of what you're really in for, Ghost Prince." There is a sudden surge in ki aura from Zuki, as-

Gaplan, the man in blue, suddenly raises a hand and looks up.

There is a flare of ki in the air, Cell's terrible plan being put into fruition. Cell fires one sphere, and then another, The very sky radiates burning light. The three immediately avert their gaze, Zuki's aura dissipating.

The rest of the Neo-Saiyan army is not so lucky. The single Oozaru is soon joined by more of them, all while Android 16 begins shelling the area with overwhelming ki firepower, as well as coordinated fusillades from defenders. Several of the Neo-Saiyans are killed in the initial blast mid-transformation, while others hold their hands over their eyes and pull back, staring at the ground so they can find a way to get behind cover. similarly, the long range shelling stops cold. It's hard to aim a heavy ki blast ballistically if you can't look into the sky.

This leaves several large, angry oozaru, however, who immediately begin rampaging. The Garleans and Maya join in on the coordinated fire team, trying to bring down a rampaging Oozaru with sheer weight of firepower. It looks like it's working, as the armor blasts away and the massive beast begins taking serious damage with pure brute force. The ninja attack the Neo-Saiyans as well, and one of them takes a painful wound, the flash of pain causing him to gasp and open his eyes. He, too, then sees the moon. Suddenly, ninjas have to deal with a giant laser monkey. He howls, and thrashes, flipping over to try to crush them with a simple roll.

Dracula, in the meantime, throws down and reveals HIS PENULTIMATE TRUE FORM because no one actually reveals their TRUEST OF FORMS without an extended quest and possible 200 percent completion. The huge demon slams into the Oozaru, invoking the ancient rites of CTHONIC KAIJU BATTLE in the outskirts of Freeport. The impact is devastating, the huge ape getting crashed into with the fist. It reels fro mthe impact, the occult strike devastating on its own... but even wounded, it hangs on, looking up at the demon with flashing, berserk eyes. The maw opens, and a burning ki laser rolls from its maw, attempting to return the attack from a being it can only process as an enemy, horrifying demon of the Hells or no.

Everyone ELSE around it who have possession of their faculties knows better, and gives them both a wide berth.

The issue become irrelevant, however, because Staren flies around and shoots the Oozaru in the tail with an array of massive homing missiles. The impact removes the tail of the Oozaru, resulting in the conversion of a critically injured Oozaru back to Saiyan form. He plummets to the ground with a nasty crunch.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Yuri then manifests the horror and ravenous beast of War itself, becoming a second demon to face the rampaging Oozaru. It lunges, grappling and clamping down on the mega-monkey's throat, but it howls, twisting to bring its fists down on both sides of the head, tryign to dislodge it with crushing pressure of its own.

Serori makes her appearance, burning with Super Saiyan power. Toma looks up, blinking. "Oh hell, she's-" Zuki smacks him. "Don't look, stupid. Stare at the moon too long and you'll go monkey." The air support, however gets harried, their disadvantage of not being able to look at most of the battlefield at the moment crippling them. They fall back in the face of the blasts, not resisting the incoming assaul force due to Cell's disturbingly effective tactic. The incoming transports getting shelled the moment they move under the limits of the sight range of the false moons for direct fire to strike at them.

Things look bad for the Neo-Saiyans.

And then there is a crack of thunder, the air splitting as /something/ atmosphere at absurd speed. The area explodes in flame, a blazing trail punching straight through each of the ki moons in a rapid sequence. In the middle of them all, the form stops, billowing heat waves roaring outwards as the built up kinetic force dissipates. And as the heat dies, that form begins to resolve. A form in Saiyan armor and a cape.

The ki moons then detonate, dissipating into waves of glittering lights as the light flares one last time, then begins to die out. The Oozaru begin to transform back en masse, and the Neo-Saiyans begin to fall back. There is a quiet, firm voice, simple and direct as eyes open.

"Hi. You were looking for me?"

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta's eyes widen when the man reveals himself, lifting his arms slightly. "You're looking the wrong way, fools! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" He brings his arms down, and his aura bursts into bright yellow light as he reaches the first stage of Super Saiyan.

"Get out of my way, weaklings!" He immediately flies into the sky, flying directly for Kakarot. "HAHAHAHAHA!!! Now, -now-, I'll kill you -myself-!!!" He doesn't even think twice, he immediately fires a gigantic beam from one hand at the man before he's even reached him.

Allo (724) has posed:
Brontothunder gives Brachio a look out of the corner of his eyes when Brachio gives him a hand with the debris. "Don't think this means I'm not gonna punch you later if the chance comes up." Though there's some hint of frenenemy rivaltry in the tone of voice as they heave the debris together.

With Dimentro finally getting local communications patched together both Dinosaucers and the local Tyrannos can better coordinate with their arriving assistance, radioing where they need assistance with the evacuations or structural obstructions. Allo makes a few comments here and there, knowing far too well that he's probably ticked off Cell. Right now? He can't deal with that.

Not when he was Gengis Rex coming down for a personal reunion, and showing off his -I will remind you stolen- Dino-volving technology to loom over him.

As much as he dislikes this position he's been put in because of a leadership role he never intended to have, Allo doesn't flinch at the tyranical tyranosaurus. Or use his own dino-volver, just folding his hands behind his back and staring back up at Rex. "I'd say it's been too long Rex, but I think we both know how falsified that would be."

There's a pause as the two rivals just stare coldly at each other.

"But at least I know you -want- a planet -left- to rule afterwards." Another short pause. Eyes narrow slightly. "Unless that has changed too..."

Optimus Prime (568) has posed:
The Autobot Commander remains on the move, even as radio chatter moves down the line back and forth. From one frequency to the next. Including having a slightly strong desire to throw off his own Prime cuffs for a moment and smash a particular mercenary into the pavement for his continued desire to take lives. Yet, he was suppose to be the example. He was /Prime/, not the cop he was before.

It actually being Prime that is perhaps what keeps him having to force his own emotions in check, for who he is now is different from his shadow, but that doesn't always stop the shadow of his spark from finding away to the surface.

As he continues to make sure people get out of the way. He tsks softly at a message from the Union higher ups, even as Glitter comes to his defense, and it is something for notation later. But the real concern comes when Cell apparently decides to malfunction.

This causes the Autobot Commander to come to dead halt and his HUD start to actually track for where the mercenary is, including his forces. This operation may have just become far more complicated.

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
Aaaaw... and it was just getting good too! Then someone had to blow up all the fake moons and put the battle more or less to an end.

With a screech, Behemoth and Beelzebumon come to a stop and look up at the sky as Kakarot makes his appearance... and then several things start happening in quick succession.

For one, Cell has started going on about having to kill something like he were a broken record, almost like something in his brain just broke like a twig.

The other is that Vegeta... acts like Vegeta.

With a loud groan, Beelz just facepalms as Vegeta gets a massive Ego Boner and starts shrieking about how he's the best and most awesome and he'll deliver swift vengence upon his rival and oh fuck me this is stupid.

Staren has posed:
Staren watches today's allies kill the transforming Oozaru. They're vulnerable while transforming? Good to know... Staren can't ready another attack fast enough to take advantage of it /this/ time. What he /can/ do is fire another salvo at one of the surviving Oozaru's tails.

But then... Kakarot shows up. His troops are pulling back... as far as Staren is concerned, this is an action to encourage. After confirming with Kakarot that the attack has stopped for now, Staren opts to sit back and watch the fireworks Cell and Vegeta are starting. The Star Hawk flies down and transforms, landing to stand by Prime in humanoid mode.

Cell (696) has posed:
     That.

     That can't be ignored.

As Cell drinks the last of the Oozaru dry, the presence of the Saiyan's leader draws his attention like a giant screaming warning. When Cell matches the ki - when Android 16's barrage stops as the Android's eyes focus up on the incoming Kakarot - both of them know immediately. They know who he is without question. They can't /help/ but know who he is. His DNA is encoded in Cell. His DNA signature, his power signature, is written into Android 16's body.

RED RIBBON ARMY PROTOCOL GR-0 ENGAGED

Cell's eyes flash red. Android 16's do the same.

And Cell's anger /spikes/. His fury is intense, impossible. He goes full power, right then and there. His aura spikes into the air, visible all across the field - thousands upon thousands of screaming human souls. The Red Ribbon Regiment tuxedo explodes off of him as his power level spikes beyond anything he's shown before - beyond what he used in his fight with Serori, beyond what he used to get Vegeta's attention, beyond anything he's demonstrated. Cell is much, much, much stronger than he's been playing at, and all of it - all the thousands of screaming, tortured souls - are being released as Cell's mantra is echoing from his horrible cicada lips.

"I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him. I have to kill him."

Meanwhile, Android 16 is also powering up. The Android's power is not monstrous like Cell's, but mechanical, strict, and artificial - but no less powerful. The two of them, in that close an area, are overwhelming. The walls around them, the soldiers around them - both Saiyan and Dinosaur - are blown backwards by the sheer force of their auras. As lightning crackles and long-dead souls howl for vengeance on a world that no longer includes them, Cell struggles for control of his own body.

DO IT. KILL HIM. KILL THE ONE WHO KILLED US. KILL THE ONE WHO BROKE THE RED RIBBON ARMY. KILL THE ONE WHO DESTROYED ALL OUR GREAT WORKS. KILL GOKU. KILL GOKU. KILL GOKU. KILL GOKU.

"Program GR-0 is in effect," Android 16 states calmly.

And then they're off. They streak away from their position on the battlefield, though it's easy to track them - the sheer force of them is impossible to miss. They ignore Saiyan soldiers, ignore Union and Confederate forces alike, twin comets streaking right for Kakarot. There's no class here, no mockery, no scorn, no subtlety - Cell is not, at all, acting like himself.

Android 16 starts firing behind Kakarot, filling the air with explosive ki blasts. Cell...Cell brings his hands together.

     "Kaaaaaa...."

     "Meeeeeeee..."

     "HAAAAAAAAAAA...."

     "MEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

     "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

You all know what happens after that.

Cell (696) has posed:
If you don't, the screaming ball of tortured soul-ki roaring towards the King of Saiyans (Kakarot, not Vegeta) can be found on any youtube anywhere, except normally Kamehameha doesn't involve screaming, tortured ghosts channeled into a beam of raw hatred.

It has something to do with turtles or some shit.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Optimus' support lends a bit of breathing room for the semi-disabled transport. The troopers defending it take pot-shots at GREEN TEAM with likely little effect, but it certainly improves morale. While Optimus is there, he's all but used as a shield by the Garleans. Easily fit into their own combat doctrine, the mechanical being is given little regard amongst the troopers there aside from 'armored support'.

Radio chatter and Confederate responses have Yari's troops focusing on the Red Ribbon forces as the Saiyan's pull back. There's no outright attacks, but the Android and Cell are targeted by a number of men, and despite beating the snot out of some Saiyans, Yari and her Mi'qote compatriot land on two standing lightpoles in the city.

The Mi'qote scowls. "...Oi. This place is getting boring, Centurion. Not enough people to cu..."

The Trooper is cut off as Cell, the Andoid, and Kakarot engage battle. Scowling, the Centurion orders her troopers on the defensive. They keep low in buildings, behind debris, and otherwise prioritise their lives like a good scouting unit. Yari's medicus units and other soldiers expertly rally with Optimus and other forces to evacuate civilians.

But there's been no response against the reptilons, and both Yari and her mi'qote compatriot land. Both leap downwards, from the light poles, and seek cover behind buildings. The pair bump back-to-back.

And then orders from Serori arrive. A full twelve Garlean troopers fire at Cell under Yari's orders instantly. They're covered in buildings, debris, and other convenient bits to keep themselves somewhat protected. Yari and her squad move through Freeport towards Cell's position with all due speed, Yari outpacing them all.

Yuri Stinson (106) has posed:
Two fists slam down on to the shoulders of a Yuri Stinson in Shintai. As they connect into the shoulders of the massive monster, the shoulders shatter against the blows. Muscle, flesh and armor is torn away in MASSIVE sprays. But it's not actually muscle and flesh. Instead, it's HUGE sprays of sheared brass for flesh and green flame for blood. And as the fists withdraw, the remaining metal curls around and reknits, meaning to close the shattered bones and wounds.

As the wounds begin to close, the monster thrashes left and right in a show of raw brutality. The order is not to kill, but Yuri's monstrous form is acting in defiance. It snaps his head back and forth, trying to snap the neck of the Oozaru with powerful motions. But those shoulders are still shattered and broken, arms hanging limp at its size and motionless. While Yuri cannot feel the damage done, the damage still exists. Kill or not, the beast jumps backwards and away, skidding across the ground with a snarl. It hunches low like a predator angling for a kill.

"Viiiiirulence. Disease. Infection. The destroyer of armies."

It snorts once, teeth curling back. It seems to consider letting the armies retreat, but then it opens its mouth and violently releases a conal stream of green fire. The constant spray washes to whatever it can reach.

At first it seems to carry the standard effect of fire: It burns, it's very hot, it lights things ablaze. But these are not normal flames. They're emerald in color. They're Green Sun Nimbus Flare, and they carry one of the worst diseases in all creation. Final Viridescence. 100% perfectly deadly to mundane mortals, it is a disease even the Exalts fear for the agony it brings.

Those even gently licked by the flames run the risk of its infection, so it is fortunate that Yuri's attack only effects those he considers his foes while he is in Shintai. The infected will experience the following symptoms, in order: It will start as a sunburn and slowly become sores. Hair will fall out. Over the days to follow, organs will necrotize and and begin to seep from the body as a liquid. It is a disease so awful not even vultures will eat a corpse killed by it. It is an awful disease engineered to kill even Exalts who aren't sturdy enough to weather its effects. Mystical treatment can alleviate it, but mundane medicine will typically do nothing.

It will be up to Kakarot to decide how his army fares, since this player doesn't want to be a giant douche and just pose wiping an army.

OOC NOTE: Consent required about a billion times over for Kakarot's army. Just explaining what it does.

tl;dr - Yuri spitefully spews diseased fire on a retreating army.

Maya has posed:
Maya's joing the Garleans in the assault on the fire team. She hopes she can do a good job here. She may not like thepeople she's defending that much but? Rex's people do not deserve to be purged she does not like the idea even with the /sayains/ She also knows a strong enough leader could direct them in another way.

For now however she ends up getting their attention oh dear god it's a mega monkey and now Maya's forced to start running and not hold still least she get smashed she does have an idea she fires several Napalm canisters at the hulking Ozzaru, all that fur should burn right?

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
A blazing impact flares out at Dracula from the Oozaru he struck. He's not really one for dodging in situations like this, so, of course, he goes for the next best option: blocking. His arms cross in front of him, and the roiling beam of ki smashes into his armored forearms with enough strength to send Dracula skidding back on the ground. His claws dig in, raking at the earth, draggin him back...but, even as his armor steams and melts, he holds up until the unfortunate Oozaru is knocked out of its state.

More of that blood leaks through the cracks formed in Dracula's armor, but he pays it no heed, shaking out his arms and turning toward Kakarot as the Neo-Saiyan appears.

    Then, there's chaos.

Cell, Android 16, and Vegeta go after Kakarot simultaneously. One of these is free to do so. The others...well, Dracula will just have to deal with them.

He doesn't waste another moment. The towering demon crouches, then leaps forward, wings beating powerfully to push his momentum further. His aim is directly for Cell, but on the way, his other arm thrusts out toward Android 16. His own chaotic power only needs a moment to gather before it streams out in a rushing, swirling condensation of hellish strength smashed into a purple beam, all aimed right for 16. It's a pretty massive attack on its own, but not much different from the usual Saiyan output.

And Cell? Dracula's other clawed, armored hand smashes down on Cell to wrap around him and /squeeze/. He doubts this will actually /kill/ the insectoid abomination, but that's not his goal so much as holding him off, slowing him down, and forcing him to adjust his attention from Kakarot.

Optimus Prime (568) has posed:
The orders go back to the Union to move to defensive positions and make sure the people stay safe over all costs. Optimus Prime follows those exact orders he has given and can only now stand back to watch the Chaos unfold, with rifle kept low, but at ready.

He was not sure what exactly was happening--- but to quote humans and maybe a digimon on field, where his thoughts on this whole matter: This is a bit of a cluster-f**k.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter is certainly strong enough to bowl humanoid-sized people over, flying or not (if she can hit them, which is no guarantee). She plows through the crowd of aerial support Saiyans, tossing another force wave at them from the other side to keep them off-balance and going every which way. Random eddies keep spinning them around for a few moments until they manage to get free.

Glitter descends. She doesn't really want to be bogged into a fight if she can help it, not one like that; she has other places to go, things to do when she gets there. She descends toward the city, gathering power slowly as Kakarot arrives. She doesn't know him, but she can tell he is (for purposes of this attack) Bad News. That's why she's gathering power. She might have to try to stop that.

Across the battlefield, Cell goes insane. She doesn't know what caused it, but she can identify that he /has/. She isn't sure what triggered it, what will stop it, or whether she can hold him still herself. But he's only attacking a soldier; she can deal with that.

Instead, she rubs her hands together rapidly, lands just in front of the city (from Cell and Kakarot's position) - and starts to back into the city. She can't make a shield big enough to protect the whole thing. But she can start to move it.

Glitter spreads her arms. A cloud of sparkles washes away from her in both directions. If there are people there (dinosaurs count as people) they suddenly start to lift up, being pulled behind her as she flies further in, toward safer ground. The Garleans have the right idea, and she assists in the best way she can - pure muscle, picking up the wounded or the slow in telekinesis as careful as she can manage.

Glitter's powers are enormously strong, but she lacks finesse. Fortunately, picking up heavy objects and putting them down somewhere else is about as non-finesse as it /gets/.

Serori (37) has posed:
For once in her life, Serori doesn't know what to do.

The Neo Saiyans have fallen back into defensive positions, leaving their leader to best represent their strength all on his own. He's come under attack from three separate directions -- Cell, the Regiment, and Vegeta -- and Serori isn't sure if she should act to save him, or leave him to die.

It might be easier if Kakarot died.

Serori cruelly dismisses his life as unnecessary. Without their leader, the Neo-Saiyans will submit. They will have no choice. She is /queen/, after all.

But if the Neo-Saiyans do not survive, there will be no one to subsume into her own Saiyan Empire.

Serori watches as Yuri slithers toward the Neo Saiyans and lets loose his virulent flame. Quickly, without even thinking about it, she dives like the Spear of Longinus itself to protect those she perceives as /her people/. Nevermind that racial integrity was never a big /thing/ among her society. She has pride -- and that pride demands she preserve her people.

Her foot is extended, becoming the tip of the spear that's driven right for Yuri's big nose.

Elsewhere, GLITTER is greeted by those Confederate ground forces assisting with evacuation. They don't know who she is, but they recognize an Elite when one is seen. "Ma'am!" A Confederate soldier in white robes rushes to her side. "Wounded are being taken in this direction, if you'll follow me, ma'am!"

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
... Aaaaaand now Serori is getting into a fight with Yuri, while Dracula himself leaps in to pimpslap the hell out of Cell and Sixteen.

And what's Beelzebumon's response to all this?

Why that's to dismount from Behemoth, throw up his hands, and leap onto the highest nearby vantage point, " You know what? Fuck it. Anyone got any popcorn so I can munch on some snacks while I watch this slow-motion train-wreck unfold?"

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
"The war is over, Allo. YOU LOST. You know that better than anyone. And yes, I would prefer if my planet doesn't die before I get a chance to rule it! Now, are you going to help me protect OUR world or are you going to stand around and make judgemental faces at me?"

The massive T-rex lifts his head and sends a challenging roar to the sky, "I AM KING HERE! LEAVE MY PEOPLE OR FACE MY ..."

Hex jams his wrench into Rex's mouth, "Shut it. theyr'e workin' on it."

Rex blinks and tries to reach the wrench in his mouth but those poor tiny arms. Rex flails about and falls over.

Brachio facepalms.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Neo-Saiyans are falling back, those who are able pulling their critically wounded associates out. Green team continues to take damage from ongoing assaults, but as it stands, they're not sticking around. Like Cell said, it's to the benefit of the Saiyans to save their critically injured.

That's a good way for them to get stronger, after all.

The plan goes kind of pear-shaped when the terrifying Green Fire washes out over several of the slower members of the retreating army. The hair already begins to fall out, but it will take time for them to understand the true horror of what is to come.

In the coming days, when they shriek in unending agony, perhaps they will know the name of he who did this to them.

Perhaps Kakarot will be able to tell the being's name as the air cracks and splits from the speed of Kakarot's descent, driving his leg down in an axe-kick towards Yuri's head. "If you're going to pull that, you'd better be ready for the consequences." He states simply... but before he can follow up, he gets interrupted.

A Kamehameha is a hell of an interruption. The ki-spike of Cell powering up causes him to look towards the insectoid biomonster. Vegeta blasts at him too, and the Android is cutting off backward movement. This is a hell of a situation.

There is a dull explosion as the beams intersect, then punch Kakarot through at LEAST four walls. It's hard to tell with all of the flying masonry and general destruction. The dust spreads, obscuring whether he is gone or not.

And then the dust explodes outwards, Kakarot hanging inf front of Vegeta as he moves near-instantaneously. Blood stains his face and his armor is cracked, his limbs smouldering and cape flickering with flame. Was he heavily wounded?

He then reaches out to backhand Vegeta with the force of a meteor impact. "Opening with that kind of attack? That was /insulting/, Vegeta. You said you were a /Ruler of Saiyans/. If you are going to try to kill me, put some actual /effort/ into it."

He pauses, looking down at Cell, and gestures. "Like the bug down there. That was actually respectable. You should take some lessons from him."

He then blurs downwards, appearing near Android 16 and giving the being a roundhouse kick with devastating force, but perfectly tuned to force it to rebound off of a nearby wall instead of punching through.

Should the Android not have mastered the forbidden art of the air-recovery, he will find himself repeatedly blasted back into the wall over and over like some kind of android racquetball. Casually, Kakarot asks, "So, there was supposed to be some talking of some kind?" He asks.

Allo (724) has posed:
And as Genghis Rex verbally chews him out, Allo just stands there and takes it. It's possible somewhere deep inside he may even believe a small part of it. Was it possible that his 'getting rid' of Rex and then trying to focus on the remaining Tyrannos on Reptilon instead of trying to branch out to Earth again or somewhere else is the reason they didn't see this coming soon enough? Did he react too quickly in the need for help in accepting the assistance of the mercenary that was now freaking out? How much of this -was- his fault, simply because he didn't -want- to be the leader that everyone else -thought- he was?

Not that any of this shows externally. His expression remains collected opposite his bellowing counterpart.

Which Hex shuts up by shoving a wrench in his mouth. Despite the situation this gets a vage snicker out of Brontothunder. Allo... may of have a brief glimmer of amusement, but it is gone just as quickly, because this wasn't really a time for levity. He just offers a quick "Thank you." to Hex. Not that the old dino-codger is going to care.

Then turns his attention back to Genghis Rex, trying not to snicker as his awkward fumbling for the wrench. "That's a stupid question to ask me of all Dinosaucers, Rex, and you know it. Of course I want to protect -our- world... but if you haven't noticed, just resorting to more violence isn't solving the problem."

There was a shift in his stance a bit, turning his attention away from Rex and the unfolding events above. "... While I can't say I'm fond of entrusting your new comrades, they at least seem to realize we need a chance to regroup and *prepare* to deal with these foes."

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta can't say a -damned thing-, because, Super Saiyan or not, he gets slammed directly into the concrete and buried in the rubble that was created by his very impact.

While the prince is buried, Seventeen and Eighteen ascend from the ship, immediately heading for Kakarot.

"I guess we don't have to listen to him anymore, now that we have a reason to live again." Eighteen says with an almost bored indifference, something that never changes with them.

Seventeen nods, already beginning to charge a beam in each hand.

"NO!"

Below, Vegeta is standing, clouds are darkening, and the ground begins to shake as he gathers as much power as he can possibly manage. "I will -not- be humiliated by this clown! HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" he shouts, the sound echoing through the streets as he shifts back into Super Saiyan, then suddenly explodes beyond, eaching his second level as sparks of electricity arc around his wild aura.

"You want to see my full power? You want to die -that- quickly? Fine, I'll show your entire -army- who their true ruler is!"

He holds his hands at his side, staring up at the two androids. "If you two want to die, I DON'T CARE!!!"

Purple energy begins to charge inbetween his hands, then he thrusts his hands forward and unleases an absolutely massive beam, at least twelve feet in diameter, just for Kakarot. Of course this causes the androids to stop, to avoid getting caught in it, but all Vegeta yells is, "GALICK GUN!!!"

Yuri Stinson (106) has posed:
Two kicks to the head, delivered almost simultaneously. The effect is pretty instantaneous: The head shatters into a massive display of brass and flame, spraying all around from the points of impact. An axe-kick splits the skull vertically, while Serori coming in from the side sends the jaw flying away. The monster topples and then falls over.

As it lays there, the beast begins to dissolve. As quickly as revolution and rebellion arise, they die down again. And the Shintai will dissolve just as quickly. Walking out of the corpse of the vanishing monster is a man wrapped in cloaks all over his entire body, just like he was before he transformed.

Well, okay, not totally. He looks completely unphased about it, but his jaw is dislocated and hanging loosely against his skin, wobbling back and forth as it hangs against muscle and flesh. Likewise, his skull is violently caved in directly on top of his head, dented downward like a crushed can. Despite these two injuries, he seems to swalk along pretty calmly.

He looks up at Serori, the only of his two assailants not presently being attacked by two people. With a violent lash of his left arm, he sends chain sailing through the air. Serori has time to evade, if she's paying attention, but the goal of the chain is to wrap around her ankle. It moves quickly and grips strongly, as if it were Yuri's own hand.

And then violently he swings that left arm down, trying to hurl her into the ground in retaliation for kicking him earlier.

All of this is done with a distant, bland look on his face that shows no pain, outrage, or emotion.

Cell (696) has posed:
The Garleans firing on Cell bombard the monster's back. They receive a few scattered wounds along the armored back for their trouble, burns and holes that rapidly disappear as Cell burns power to regenerate. He spares them a glance and a blast of laser fire from his eyes, ignoring the line between friend and foe. Fortunately, Glitter's shield flies up, well-timed to absorb the eye lasers, and that's all the attention Cell is willing to give them. The beams arc across the telekinetic field harmlessly, splaying every which way, but unable to pierce through.

Then Dracula's claw falls onto the biomonster. It closes around Cell's waist, catching him tight and squeezing him like a bug. He struggles, furiously - and Dracula can probably tell he's not struggling against /Dracula/.

All of that fury. All of it is bent not towards /Vegeta/, not towards /Serori/, not towards /Dracula/, not towars Kakarot, but towards Dr. Gero. Towards his programmer. Towards the one who tugged his strings from beyond the grave. Towards the one who *wasted* his time, his energy, his hard-won efforts, on a god damned vendetta for a dead man. This was the Multiverse. This wasn't Goku. This wasn't Goku.

     KILL SON GOKU.

     This wasn't Goku!

Meanwhile, Android 16 has no such conflicting thoughts. Dracula smashes into him, flinging the Android backwards. Then, Kakarot hammers him again, and he rebounds off the nearest wall, hammering into it with massive force. Sixteen continues to get hammered, over and over, bouncing off the wall furiously. A moment later, he simply hammers through the wall and backslams at Kakarot with his elbow for a furious interruption, just for an instant, to catch his breath and start punching Kakarot back.

It is then that the Androids show up.

Cell's head jerks around in Dracula's grasp instantaneously. He stares at Seventeen and Eighteen as a second biological impulse starts up in the back of his mind, one just as hard-coded as the first. The impulse for completion. The desire to consume. The hunger in the pit of his stomach for ultimate, godlike power. He could complete himself. He could become impossible, a thing without compare. He could break Kakarot over his knee. He could drink Vegeta dry. He could...he could...

     He could.

In the brief span of moments between the switch flipping, Cell has control of himself. And in that moment, he does the impossible.

Cell grabs onto both impulses. He forces them into balance in his mind, drawing them together on the battlefield. The voices overlap in his mind, like two sets of waves.

KILL. BECOME. SON GOKU. PERFECT. KILL. BECOME. SON GOKU. PERFECT. KILLBECOME SONGOKUPERFECT KIBECSONGOPERF KBSGP...

Cell (696) has posed:
The feedback is intense. Cell is going to have a headache for a week and a half. But as his aura shatters and vanishes, he breaks himself free of Dracula's grasp, steps backwards in mid-air, and snaps his fingers. A new tuxedo appears around him, the Red Ribbon Regiment logo crisp in his grasp.

Cell gives Dracula a very long look as he straightens his tie. He glances over at Sixteen and barks an order at him over the private Red Ribbon channel.

Android 16 suddenly freezes in mid-motion. He powers down, flying back over next to Cell. <<Confirmed deactivation of GR-0.>>

<<Good,>> Cell replies over the silent channel.

Cell adjusts his tie again as he settles onto one of the husks of broken buildings. He gives Kakarot a very long stare, his horrible bug mouth curling in what is probably for him a smile.

"Kakarot," Cell plays with the name in his mouth, forcing the association onto the face. He was Cell. He was the master of his own destiny. He was not Gero's pupet. He had worked for years to stop being Gero's puppet. He had taken up jazz tap, checkers of every stripe, music lessons on every instrument he could find, /science/ of all varieties, to stop being Gero's puppet. A monkey wasn't going to rob him of all his presence, destroy all his plans.

"You've made an impression," Cell admits after a moment, "But I'm afraid I'm under orders not to kill you at the moment. Maybe next time we'll get to dance for realsies."

"I guarantee I'll give you a better dance than Vegeta will, too." Cell's tail coils around his waist like a massive green belt as he speaks from his position on the pillar. He spreads his arms like he's shrugging, his horrible bug-eyes focused on Kakarot. He's ignoring the pounding in his skull, fighting the urge to fly up and drink Eighteen and Seventeen.

"Let's say this, Kakarot. Right now I'm unfocused. My old creator, well, he got in my head." Cell wiggles his fingers next to his face. "Imagine what I'm like when we're not surrounded by all this. When Vegeta's not in our way. Imagine what kind of fight we could have."

"I'm imagining it. Of course, if you *really* want a challenge, you'd knock out those two Androids and deliver them to me."

"Just offering." Cell chuckles his horrible bug chuckle and looks away. "For the moment, though...I think the moment's been lost. And your 'Saiyan friends' are just going to get in our way here."

     "Think about it."

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
And now Beelzebumon is laughing his ass off at the sight of Vegeta getting pimp slapped with the force of a wrecking ball, then cups his hands around his mouth and shouts down, "Hahaha wow Vegeta, did he seriously just bitch slap you??"

And then Vegeta flips the fuck out and goes ballistic on Kakarot, while Beelz watches from the sidelines, "Yeeeeeeep, that's pretty much how I expected Geetz to react."

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori's attention is split in a thousand ways. Kakarot. The Neo Saiyans. Vegeta's ki power searing her senses. Cell. The Red Ribbon Regiment. The Union. Now...Yuri. Even as Serori shouts another attempt at pushing Kakarot into retreat, into worthless fucking /diplomacy/, Yuri gives her that corpse-like stare and flicks his left hand forward. An easy grace sends forth a cold chain to grasp at her ankle, and while she dodges its reach, having plenty of speed in her Super Saiyan form to make the feat look easy, now that she /recognizes/ her foe, she's free to yell at him. "WHAT THE HELL, YURI!?"

In a streak of gold, she shoots skyward a few dozen feet, and from that vantage does her best to get the view of the field.

Glitter (721) has posed:
"You got it," Glitter says.

Glitter seems somewhat distracted. Strength is one thing, but technique is another. Carrying people and transports is challenging. It's like juggling a whole bunch of eggs; Glitter is very aware that she could crack some if she loses her focus.

She almost does when her shield catches wild eye lasers; she flares it to catch it - but her persona shield is pretty tough. A couple people dip down for a moment as the sparkles fainten, but then they brighten again and Glitter keeps moving people. "Okay, guys, girls... and, uh, dinosaurs. You're going to be fine, all right? Trust me!" And ignore the fact that she's starting to sweat from the intense focus this requires.

Please ignore the violence going on well behind her. She has nothing to do with it.

Staren has posed:
Staren just watches. He gets to see all the action, /and/ he can be ready to step in if Kakarot's army resumes attacking. It's a win-win! Really, he doesn't see much downside to any way a fight between Kakarot, Vegeta, and Cell could go. Orrr even just Kakarot and Vegeta, as it seems that Cell has managed to break free of his urges (tsk tsk, Dr. Gero).

What doesn't look so good is what happens to Yuri. That looks really unpleasant. But apparently the Exalted can take it, so okay.

He continues watching. Cell and his forces get a brief wave from the robot as they head for the back line.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
The descending form of Glitter would find herself backed up by several squads of Garlean forces. Though many gasp as her telekinetic powers, a sharp bark over the radio has them calming. Even as Glitter begins telekinetically evacuating forces, Yari's troopers and field medics support the retreat wtih their very lives. It's a veritable phalanax before Glitter and the civilians that are floating away, a few magic-using amongst the troopers already causing wounds to heal. Indeed, as the battle rages, a majority of Yari's forces are put into the role of protecting civilians, as the battle leans towards a single source: Cell.

Somewhere amidst the battle, Yari Takane races past Beelzebumon.

"...Agreed on the metaphor. Please offer any of my passing troops morale-boosting grain-based snacks." In the heat of the battlefield, the chaotic, irreverant figure that is Beelzebumon gets a smirk from the woman, wide and dangerous as she passes.

Cell's strikes fall harmlessly against Glitter's shielding. Yari can't help but smile openly, and soldiers of her Century rally in Glitter's cause.

Yari waves her hand, and her kitty-girl compatriot pauses. The Garleans focus utterly on defense. For now, they're covering scouting almost entirely for civilians and wounded soldiers. Yari herself pulls some poor now-orphaned child out of the dust. She manages to ignore nostalgia at the look of a child pulled from pure corpses.

She knows that look well. She's can't ignore it. A hug to the girl. Perhaps one day, this simple Reptilion will know Yari Takane as much as her own 'Mother' knew her.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Rex ptoos the wrench out of his mouth and flashes a *GLARE* at Hex.

The Stegosaurus cocks his head. There's a reason the Tyranno skipped Freeport in their fun little civil war.

Rex reverts back to his base form and eyes Allo, "You're ... right ... Allo."

Rex stares at the ground, "Is that what you want to hear from me? Well, you're right."

He turns his head to the retreating Saiyans, "I won't let them have it ... I won't let them have my home ..."

Rex leans heavily on a bit of broken wall, "I just got here."

"Mistakes were made, all right? But they weren't all mine ... and when this place is safe again, we'll sort it out. Right now, though, we need to drive them off ... we need to save our people ..."

Rex looks at Allo pleadingly, "We'll do it together."

Maya has posed:
The Neo Sayains are pulling back, the are even /pulling out htier wounded/. They are not operasting entirely by surival of the strongest it seems. There have been changes or these Sayins are very different. She's not caught sight of Kakarot yet yet as she contiunes to give the Neo Sayains a very good reason to run. She keeps up her attacks on any who seem to have an idea to keep fighting.

Then she sees it she sees the likely commander Kakarot there'sd a look of horror on Maya's face, she tries to open her mouth but no words come, she stops shooting and the hardened 3elite can only simply /stare at this/. The implications are nightmarish and explain a lot of the Sayain's changes, she does not manage to say a thing. She does have a though this situation is worse than just an organized army of Sayains. Kakarot himself is the leader of it, Maya is able to pull herself together enough to get back on the attack to give the evac teams more time. She's rattled deeply however...very deeply.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Dracula's hand is a tomb in his form, crushing and binding with the intent to keep Cell /restrained/. The insectoid creature writhes and struggles, but it's not enough...not until that focused force suddenly wrenches Dracula's hand open enough for him to break free. Dracula's first impulse is to snatch for him again, but his hand, fortunately, reaches empty air. It's enough of a moment for Dracula to recognize that Cell is in a much more stable mindset. He's not going to question it for now; if the bug is going to handle himself properly, there's nothing for him to concern himself with in that front. Not, at least, while Vegeta is still assaulting Kakarot and refusing to allow any sort of negotiations to go through.

And when Vegeta refuses to listen to the orders of superior officers, well...that is when Dracula decides it's time for drastic measures.

A raging cannon of purple spite blares out from Vegeta, and while that's being fired, Dracula's four wings beat a hurricane into the air to send him behind the saiyan. With remarkable agility for his size, he twists and orients himself at Vegeta's back, looming behind him like some statue dragged from Phlegethon's depths. His fingers interlace. His hands form a single massive fist. As Vegeta's Galick Gun rages through the air, Dracula's fists lift over his head.

Twin throbbing streams of bloody mist descend like the tails of the comet that is Dracula's hammerfist streaking down on Vegeta's head. It's a blow that shatters rocks, breaks bones, and crushes the foundations of the earth.

Dracula knows Vegeta is immortal. Worst case, this shouldn't kill him for too long, right?

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Genghis Rex shutters in awe at the power that Dracula displays, he's never seen ANYTHING like that before ...

Staren has posed:
Staren's not really that familiar with Dracula. He knows his allies have fought Dracula, and he's met the man under peaceful circumstances.

But he's never /seen/ this. He's never seen anything like this.

He's faced a Confederate fachead before, once.

Huh. Dracula seems stronger than Anubis.

After a moment to properly appreciate the power on display, he wonders: What happened to Vegeta? The man boasts of immortality, but Staren's aware that there are a whole lot of varieties of immortality and most of them have limits.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Android 16 breaks the wall in order to not get bounced to death. Kakarot can appreciate the forward thinking, as the Android cracks him across the face and splits his lip. He moves in a blur, loud CRACKS heard as he blocks the bone-breaking followup strikes. The movements would be beautiful were it not murderous combat in the middle of a warzone.

Nor does Kakarot seem to be conscious of the massive conflict within Cell's mind. He can tell when a battle is over, however. Once the battle ends, however, he steps back with a sigh, adjusting his armor and cape, looking to Cell. "I'll make sure to keep you in mind." He replies, nodding to the man. Is it respect? Well, he DID just show that he could do some...

There is a sudden pulse, and Kakarot looks up in the direction of Vegeta. Kakarot's aura explodes, flaring golden as he enters his own Super Saiyan transformation...

And then he brings a hand not out to counter the beam... But to his head, and he vanishes, the Galick Gun hitting the area where Kakarot /was/.

Looks like he doesn't care about the people behind him at all.

He reappears in the air next to Vegeta, the massive Fist Of Oppression washing past him and forcing him back some distance. He nods. "I think we've had just about enough of that. So, instead of standing around where random angry ghosts will come try to kill us, how about you come up to my ship where we can talk about this diplomacy thing and determine what's going to happen down here?"

Allo (724) has posed:
"... Yes, mistakes were made. No, they were not all by you." Allo will give that much of an admittance to Rex. Right now, their own past foibles weren't important. "Let's deal with this matter together. For -our- people. -Our- planet." They can redraw lines on it afterwards. If this doesn't somehow actually bring the two sides closer together somehow.

And then Dracula goes to give Vegeta a reason to not be so insubordinant.

"... Wow," is all Allo really has to say.

"NOW THAT IS HOW YOU SHUT SOMEONE UP!" That's okay, Brontothunder is doing plenty of cheering for them all, letting a bit of his former gladiatorhood show through and he pumps his fists in the air (his arms aren't long enough to reach over his head and neck). At least until Allo turns his head just enough to give him a bit of a look. "... Aheh. Sorry. Got caught up in the moment."

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
Welp, looks like the fighting's over, judging from Vegeta becoming a Super Saiyan Smear all over the ground and Kakarot being all 'shiiiit, I ain't got time for that!' in regard to the massive ki blast Veggie fired off.

With the battle ending and the diplomacy beginning, it's time for Beelz to take his leave as he leaps down from the rooftop and remounts his hellish ride. He pauses only long enough to look in Vegeta's direction and grin.

     "Pwned."

And then with the heavy rumble of an engine, Beelz takes off in search of a bar where he can get a much deserved drink.

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori should be more concerned about Vegeta's fate.

She knows better.

In a blur of Instant Transmission, she moves to the Field Marshal's side, all her Super Saiyan glory blazing like a torch no more than a few feet in front of Kakarot. After looking Kakarot over up and down, she releases the transformation. "You resemble your father. I can only hope you fight like he did, too. He was a hero, some said. He was willing to protect the lives of his squadmates whenever no other saiyan would take the chance..."

Looking past Kakarot, Serori considers the gathered Neo-Saiyans. "Is that why they follow you? Or is it because you're a tyrant?"

Serori's tail unwinds from her waist to jerk at the air in discomfort. "I look forward to learning more about you, King Kakarot."

Cell (696) has posed:
Cell nods distantly at Kakarot. He stares, hard, almost hungrily, at the effects of Instant Transmission. That's something he wants. He'd figure it out, if he saw it enough times - or he'd get his tendrils into Gok, into KAKAROT, and drink enough of him to learn it. Kakarot would eventually come to fight him. He knew it. It's how Saiyans are. They can't help themselves.

He can help himself. And, right now, he's going to. The Union is probably going to shoot itself in the foot with this diplomacy, because the Saiyans...well, he warned them. He warned them over and over.

For now, Cell departs, calmly moving into the evacuation group. And, slowly, as he moves through the group, he makes offers to the disenfranchised Dinosaurs, to the broken, to the soldiers who clearly lost loved ones. He's subtle, and quiet, and careful to avoid the Garleans and Confederates and Unionites alike, offering work - and a chance, in the future, to get the Saiyans back for what they did.

Cell moves among the disenfranchised and dispossessed, offering them the one thing he knows so many of them would never get from anyone else:

     Purpose.

He may have lost money on this venture, he may have exposed a lot more than he meant to, and Gero may have screwed him out of something important, but Cell is a businessman. He'll walk away with a profit of one kind or another.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Seventeen and Eighteen, oddly enough, have been staring at Cell and Sixteen. -They're- not attacking. They look to each other, and they begin to discuss.

"So, he's not Goku?" Seventeen asks while staring down at the man, floating in the air.

Eighteen, also floating, shrugs. "I guess not. But we should keep in mind that Cell probably wants to eat us."

Seventeen crosses his arms, considering the situation. "We could kill these dinosaur people. That'd be fun. But I don't think Dracula would be very happy, and he's actually pretty strong."

Eighteen rubs the back of her head, adding, "I don't want to do it -because- it might make someone happy."

Vegeta, on the other hand, had no idea what was coming. He was completely blind with rage. He didn't expect the hammer of Satan to come down over his head. His hair immediately turns black, and he drops to the ground, blood seeping from his head. He definitely just died, though he'll come back in a few, like Jack Harkness, even if he'll still have a deadly wound on the back of his head.

Optimus Prime (568) has posed:
The Autobot Commander has been silent the entire time the insanity has been going on. Though Dracula's show of power is greatly impressive. Makes him wonder if-- no. He will not think on it. However when the call of Diplomacy comes up, his shoulder lower a touch as the gears relax and he puts away his own rifle.

Though the speaking is apparently designed to be held on the ship, which could be a problem for the thirty foor robot. Yet there is ways around such height differences. Either seeing how much cargo room the ship held or by simply holographic projection.

Diplomacy....
That has worked so well for Prime thus far.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Vegeta's dealt with, and those pulsing streams of mist disperse into more blood that splatters over the ground. Dracula flexes his claws in the moment he takes to look down at Vegeta, confirming that the saiyan is at least out of commission for the moment. Only once that seems to be taken care of does the great demon look toward Kakarot, red eyes of blood studying the Neo-Saiyan leader in slow, predatory analysis.

Eventually, however, the massive demon of blood and stone curls an arm in front of his torso and lowers into a brief, respectful bow. It probably looks unusual in this form, but even as a massive visage of Satan, Dracula works to maintain his regal image.

"King Kakarot," he rumbles in acknowledgement, straightening up and folding his arms over his chest. "Your presence here is...interesting, no doubt. I trust you will not complain about my presence in these discussions." A pause to look over himself briefly. "...in a more presentable form, that is."

The Lord of Darkness doesn't spend too much more time on this; Serori seems to have things in hand, after all. So, as imposing as he may be, he floats aside to start overseeing the retrieval and deliverance of their wounded.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Rex eyes Brachio, "Dig through the rubble and locate survivors. Get them to Medbay. Styraco has it prepared ..."

"Styraco huh?" Tricero mutters from behind Rex.

Rex flashes Ticero a stern look, "Not now."

Rex glances to Allo then motions to Ankylo, "Help Brachio! All Tyrannos help find the injured and trapped! All resources go to the recovery!"

"All Tyrannos? All resources? My, aren't we generous?" a female voice hisses.

Rex tense and slowly turns to see his sister, Dei, standing there giving him the nastiest glare anyone had ever seen.

"Dei?"

"Who else, were you expecting, dear brother?"

"Dei, I, uh ... I'm so glad to see you ... I"

"Hrm, I wish I felt the same ... you look busy here, we'll talk later, I'll inform our ... erm, well, YOUR troops, that their king has returned ... "

Dei strides off, looking PISSED, while hissing something into her comlink.

Rex shudders a bit as he watches his sister leave.

He quickly shakes it off and glances to Allo, "Come on, let see who we can help."

Yuri Stinson (106) has posed:
Yuri watches the chain narrowly miss Serori. He doesn't have much thought on this beyond 'Next time get a longer chain' and 'It will cost more Essence to use a longer chain'. When the chain misses, it hangs in the air and snaps at her a couple times as if trying to grab, not unlike a tendril. Then it slowly retreats back under the cloak of the Exalt to wherever it was prior.

His response was given to her on radio, so he doesn't need to say much in person. And, with the battle done and people moving into peace talks, there is little need for his presence further. One does not bring the Monster to the table and expect it not to bite hands, and so he will depart.

With minimal affair, Yuri decides to heed Serori's radio advice and go to take care of his jaw and crushed skull. He simply seems to vanish in a flurry of wind and a blur of motion, using Adorjan Charms to flit off.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
At this point, with little befalling them, the Garleans have pulled back into full defense. It seems Yari and her subordinates have ceased their assault to purely offer civilian support. Even so, Yari Takane watches the battlefield, ready to strike in case any should seek her as a target.

Staren has posed:
Well, this has certainly been... an eventful day. The conflict ended, Staren turns the Star Hawk around to provide what help in moving heavy objects a 40 foot tall robot can.

That definately looked like Goku. Man, who knows where this is going to go?

Allo (724) has posed:
Allo gives Tricero a look, but doesn't say anything. The ceratopsian just snorts deeply, but lets the moment drop with a bit of reluctance. Instead he gazes at Allo, likely waiting for a confirmation. Much the same as Brontothunder does.

After a moment of internal debating with himself, Allo nods a bit. "Yes, we're working -with- the Tyrannos for this. We may not like to admit it, but this is their home as much as ours. It's going to -take- us working together, and with these new allies that have come, to see her through to another day. So let's get moving, Dinosaucers!"

As he turns away Brontothunder gives Brachio's shoulder a smack. "Com'n you, I bet I can bust a bigger chunk of granite than you!" Leave it to those two to make a compatition out of it.

Tricero just gives Rex the sort of 'I'm watching you' sort of look you would expect from a former cop before turning to follow his fellows to get back to the clean-up work.

Then Allo looks back to Rex, just in time for Dei to make an appearance -now-. His tail gives a bit of a twitch, but he doesn't say anything and just watches the two have a brief family reunion.

He's still not going to tell Rex he'd rather deal with him than his sister. That's not an ego rubbing they need to give Rex right now.
