Three Person Date at Olive Garden
Date of Scene: 29 June 2015
Location: Southern Urbania
Synopsis: Lute takes Medusa and Sanary on a date to Olive Garden.
Cast of Characters: 22, 188, Sanary Rondel

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute is honestly still surprised at how much luck he has had with the ladies. First his string of luck during February. And now, with Medusa's return, he's managed to talk her into coming with him, on a date. And he invited Sanary along, as well.

He, of course, hasn't told either of them that the other is coming as well.

Lute sits out on a bench in front of the Olive Garden, the number one place for cheap mass produced but not quite McDonalds quality Italian food. The stagnant yet somehow pleasing smell of the Americanized Italian Food floats out of the resteraunt on occasion. He's still wearing his normal casual outfit, wtih his jeans and labcoat (no shirt). After all, he feels pretty comfortable with these two. No need to dress up extra fancy for this! Plus he looks badass in his labcoat.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
While she isn't quite up to her full strength just yet, Medusa has recovered well over these last weeks. The other day she even joined Tesla in her mission to free the prisoners at the Birdcage, though the witch had to take it easy lest she overexert herself. But she saw no reason to decline Lute's offer for dinner. Why? Who knows. The witch seldom talks about her agenda, and she's friendly enough with most of her fellow Confederates when it suits her.

Medusa isn't overdressed today either when she arrives, though she is wearing high heels for a change. And her usual black dress and snakeskin coat does look nice enough for most occasions. She walks slowly, but at least she doesn't look like she's about to fall over where she walks. And as she walks up to the bench she cants her head to the side and offers what looks like a sincere smile to Lute. "Hello, did you wait long for me? I'm afraid I had some business to clear up at the ward before I could leave~"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Although Sanary's usual schedule of working two medical shifts between the Citadel and the Zaibatsu's headquarters is nothing new, what is new is the choice of location. She hasn't had any of this newfangled Eye-talian food much before, but she's heard many good things about it! Mostly because of the cheese.

Hopefully, she won't make too much of a mess. She notices the smell wafting from the vents long before even seeing the place, eventually turning around slowly to try and figure out where it's coming from. She's dressed in a fairly casual summer wear: A yellow t-shirt and shorts with stockings. She'd almost look like a random civilian if not for the eyepatch and the tomahawk on her hip.

Spotting Lute over by a bench, she raises a hand in greeting and is about to call out before hearing a familiar voice nearby. What a strange coincidence! Raising an eyebrow, a slight grin crosses her face as she ducks down, trying to sneak up on Medusa. She doesn't get very far with that, though, as she misses the sign on her left and bangs her knee against it.

"Fffff... Mrghm. H-hey, Lute. Medusa. Didn't-ow. Miss anything, did I?"

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute stands tall as Medusa arrives, smiling softly at her. They have only begun to start what /might/ be called 'dating', and the only time they have been together was when Lute showed Medusa her own memorial. Which, well. Let's admit it: That's a bit of an atypical first date.

Still, though, he walks over to Medusa. His arms move to gently wrap around her waist. He looks over her body, and her beauty. Even if she is dressing casually, she still knows now to present herself. He leans in, to give a short kiss to Medusa, upon the lips. As the kiss breaks, he smiles, "I'm glad you could make it. Was hoping to get a chance to see you more often~."

And then, Sanary arrives, slamming her head into a sign. Lute winces a bit. Though he loves Sanary, she... /can/ be a bit of a clutz, even when not blind. He moves over her, to pull her close as well. He gives her a kiss on the forehead, and then a kiss on the lips. He smiles at her as well, "Hey, hope you don't mind. I felt you and Medusa could use some time together, get to know eachother more. I mean, well... you can probably guess why I'm hoping you two get along."

A hand still at Sanary's waist, he walks her over to Medusa. And then he places a hand on Medusa's waist as well. Yes, he is going to a resteraunt with a woman on both arms. For Lute, this is a sign that his life is, indeed, quite good.

"Hope you two like Italian." He says this, as guiding them forward. The doors are opened by an employee.

People are probably staring a bit.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
There's no sign from the witch that she's about to pull away when Lute walks over and wraps his arms around her waist, and as he leans in close she cants her head slightly to kiss him back. Though his comment seems to amuse her greatly, and she chuckles. "Really? Most people seem dismayed at seeing me often, I would say." At least she has a sense of humour, right?

Upon hearing the bang from behind, Medusa turns her head and glances over her shoulder, giving Sanary an amused look. "Hello there, dear~" And when Lute walks over to kiss Sanary as well, she... keeps on smiling. What? There's no secret that Lute is a womanizer. She sounds even quite cheerful when she replies. "Salary helped tend to me while I was in medical myself, though yes, it's nice to get to know those who joined after my demise. As for whether or not she likes Italian? "I eat most food. Pasta happens to be Crona's favourite dish, however," she muses. And no, she doesn't care that people are staring.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Oh right. Lute did mention that kiss at the memorial a while back, didn't he? But if that was the case and Medusa and him were dating, and if Lute had brought them both here today, then did that mean...

Sanary was going on a date with Medusa, too?! She's looking just a little more freaked out than she did a moment ago, suddenly cursing her lack of dressing up for today. Between not wearing her more formal suit or even that one dress and rubbing that knee to ease the pain from the impact, she's definitely a lot more self-concious now than before. It's one thing to go on a date with Lute without having to try that hard to impress him, but now she's got to think about impressing Medusa!

At least she's not looking troubled or anything about the double date. Or jealous, even! Returning the kisses is easy enough, at least, and it does take her mind off that pain for a short while. "Eh? O-oh, not at all. I mean, I figured you two were already dating because of the other thing." It doesn't ease her mind about how underdressed she's feeling, though, especially as she looks over to Medusa with an awkward grin. "This should be fun, then. Never ate at this place yet, so it should be good."

Noticing the stares, she does manage a light chuckle after a moment and looks over at the two. "Think they're jealous?"

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute chuckles a bit at Medusa, "Well, I'm not most people, am I? Besides, those who seem to dislike you are mostly our enemies, right?" There is a slight pause as he shakes his head, "Besides, lots of people fear spending time with /me/." Despite his ego, he still realizes this much about how people view him, at least.

He smiles at Sanary and Medusa, as he guides them inside. A sigh of relief, "I'm glad you guys are both cool with this. I mean, well... Not everyone would be." He looks at Sanary, "Thanks for helping Medusa with her recovery, too. I mean, she's supposed to be a really good nurse herself, so if you're a good medic for her? That speaks very highly of your skills, huh?"

A waiter takes the group to their table. Lute, of course, makes sure the seating is just right. A round table, but with Medusa and Sanary both seated /very/ close to him. He smiles at Sanary, "Yeah, of /course/ they're jealous. They should be. Most people don't live life to their fullest."

But, thinking of Crona, he pauses, "...Is she back yet? If so, we should bring her some food back, too."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
Unlike Sanary it seems that Medusa is completely at ease where she walks next to Lute into the restaurant. Not the best place she's eaten, but eh. Why be picky?

"Maybe. I don't really care," Medusa says with a soft smile in reply to Sanary's question. Nor does she seem bothered by the fact that Lute invited another woman long for dinner. "And yes... it does help having somebody in medical who can give you peace and quiet, it... had been rather noisy for a while," she adds as she gets seated, pulling off her coat and setting it over the back of her chair. Her arms are less muscular than what they used to be.... "We do need more field medics. Are you used to working in the field, Sanary?" Medusa asks with obvious curiosity.

As for Crona? The witch nods. "Yes, though there is some business to attend to in Asia on Earth 4242562." The food would be cold by the time Crona returned.

Instead she seems more curious about the menu, picking it up and looking over it, even as she glances at Sanary for her response.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Really? Hm... Well, you two do kinda come off as scary sometimes. I'd probably be afraid if I was on the other side and didn't already know you." Laughing lightly, Sanary's grin goes just a bit wider at the compliment as she appears to be relaxing after that initial shock. "Just doing my job. Medusa's still a high priority, and I still need to learn what I can from her. Er. You. "

She laughs again a moment later. "Following along with what the other medical staff does has been working so far, but... I'm curious how you do it and why people are so scared of you." Although she doesn't have a coat or anything, the axe cleric does take a moment to unhook the tomahawk from her belt and set it against her own chair.

"Yeah, I've been in the field even before coming here. Didn't have as much training back home when all I was using was magic, but... Got the job done." Grinning lightly at Medusa, Sanary claps a hand firmly against Lute's back before picking up her own menu. "Got even better once I started working here, of course. Drawing fire, removing the wounded, first aid so people could keep going. Even had a few missions with Lute here. He handled the heavy lifting with the fighting, I focused on the healing... Thing."

She raises an eyebrow at the mention of someone named Crona, glancing between Medusa and Lute a few times to try and mentally guess at who that would be. That's not really getting her anywhere, though. "Crona's another friend?"

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute reads through the menu himself. He thinks back to his protocol. On dates, it's generally best to... order first, so the date will know the price range. But, he smiles, looking at the two women accompanying him, "Feel free to order anything you want, I can afford it. No upper limit." It's not so much him bragging about his wealth, as it is him being willing to go all out to make sure his dates are happy.

Lute listens to Medusa's question to Sanary, smiling. At the least, he can help support Sanary a bit here, "Yeah, Sanary is being pretty modest. But she's improved a lot since coming here. I've been training with her a lot, and she's been doing /really/ well on missions. She's one of the /most/ active Elites right now, I'd say." It's not just flattery, either. Lute is sincere.

The talk of Medusa being scary, though? He just laughs, "Awww, come on. She can't be /that/ scary. I mean, I haven't had her heal me, but like. I'm sure people are just exaggerating. She can't be Xiang level scary as far as healers, though. Lost an arm once, he grew it back, it was excruciating pain for hours on end. And he /could/ have given me a more pain free treatment."

     He shakes his head slightly.

"--Oh, and Crona is Medusa's child. I went on a date with her once, too."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
It might be hard to imagine Medusa as scary and creepy when she's in this sort of demeanor, smiling sweetly at Sanary. "People didn't know I'm a witch at first. And some people don't like secrets all that much, I guess~?" Perhaps it's a good thing that Lute hasn't been treated by Medusa yet. A former Confederate fears her well enough due to the treatments she has gotten, people have been screaming in her ward. There is a reason why the turnover is so high and why patients get discharged so quickly.

"I'm glad to hear you are being useful, Sanary," she smiles instead, glancing down at her menu again. "If you wish, there is always need for more healers at Ward 17. It would allow you to learn from me. I always welcome healers to study under me as Ward 17 specializes in... non conventional medicine." Her gaze shifts up from the menu to /stare/ at the younger woman.

"Crona is my child, yes. And a meister like Kilik." That's all she has to say about that matter right now.

The waiter returns to take their orders, and Medusa does take up Lute on his offer for them to order anything they want. "Soup of the day and a large plate of filled raviolis. I would like some white wine and water." Somebody has an appetite.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"... You sure? Because I haven't eaten breakfast yet." Chuckling again, Sanary looks just a bit flustered at the continuing compliments, and she gives Lute another pat on the back. "H-hey. It's not that much. I'm not doing the heavy damage like... You know. Just about everyone else. Last time I blew something up was..." She pauses. "... Two night ago, actually. But still. That wasn't against Elites, you know?"

The mention of an even scarier healer does draw an intrigued hum from the girl, glancing between Lute and Medusa a few times. "Did he at least knock you out during it? Or load you up on morphine? Because that stuff's..." There's another pause, followed by a snicker. "That stuff's fun. Until you wake up, anyway. But doing any kind of big procedure without something..." She shudders lightly. "Pulling bullets out already isn't fun. Really don't want to find out how it'd go putting an arm back without any meds."

Medusa's invitation draws a slow blink from Sanary at first, then a pleased smile. "Ah.. Sure! I mean... yeah, I'm definitely willing to do that." The stare doesn't even bother her at first, the notion of being able to get even better at healing overriding any safety mechanisms that might have normally triggered in her brain.

The fact that Medusa has a daughter does take Sanary by surprise, however, and she actually stares at Medusa in return for a bit. "Huh. So that means you're..." Thankfully, she doesn't finish that thought, thinking better on even attempting to guess the head nurse's age. Instead, her attention goes back to the menu! "... 'Tour of Italy'. Sounds good. And... Some breadsticks, and a... Ice tea?"

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute nods and smiles at Sanary, "Hey, I know you can be a /really/ big eater, so of course I mean it. And trust me, I've dated some people in the past who had /really/ large appetites. Dragon-like appetites, even." He pauses. "...Actually one of them was in fact a dragon-girl."

He chuckles at Medusa, "Ehhh, witch is just a term. I mean, it just means you have a lot of magical power, right? ...Or is there more to it than that?" He doesn't know that much about witches from Medusa's world. He /has/ heard of rumors that there might be some worlds where Witches are basically their own species...

Lute, of course, doesn't get the whole 'Medusa is a terrifying healer' thing either. And so, she smiles widely, "Hey, yeah, Medusa would be a /great/ teacher for you. I mean, really. I bet Medusa could even train you in combat a bit. Not everyone is really a frontliner though. With your healing magic, you make it so people can make even /bigger/ explosions."

As for Lute, he orders, "Fettucini alfredo with chicken, and a salad. To drink... I'll have white wine as well."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
"It means I'm what, dear?" Medusa asks with a smile, leaning forward as she laces her fingers together. No, she looks more amused than anything.

Since they're on the topic, why not respond to Lute's question? "Witches look like humans, though our souls are different. We are born with magic and with an urge to destroy. Also we live much, much longer." Now that they have all ordered food Medusa leans back in her chair, crossing one leg over the other. "So... when did you join the Confederacy, Sanary? You weren't here when I died back in January."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Lute dating a dragon is /definitely/ news to Sanary, and he's the next one to get a long stare! She's purposely avoiding Medusa's question for as long as she can, although it's hard not to say something in response while she's on the spot like that.

Well, might as well get it over with. "That you're.. Uh... Thirty-something? I-I mean, if you have a kid that Lute dated. Unless..." She glances over at Lute. "You were an adult when you dated Crona, right?"

At least that's over with. "I've heard stories about Medusa fighting, so I definitely wanna learn that. Er." She turns back to Medusa with another chuckle. "If that's okay with you, I mean. I joined back in... Uh." She pauses to stare at the ceiling for a moment, then out the window. "...Late winter. Probably February or so? I remember hearing people mention your name a couple of times since then."

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute pauses, staring at Sanary, and sighing. It's a fond sigh, though, and he smiles at her. A hand is put on her shoulder, and he looks her directly in the eyes.

"First off. Yes, I was an adult when I dated Crona. Second, well. Knowing you, I think I know what you wanted to say before you stopped yourself. Just go ahead and say it."

He clears his throat, "Yes. Medusa is a total MILF."

     God damnit, Lute.

He nods as he turns back to Medusa, smiling, "Well, that makes sense. ...But, humans are born with an urge to kill also, so really, that's not too much difference. Aside the longevity thing." He is tempted to ask Medusa her age, but he doesn't. Even he knows that is impolite.

And, Lute nods at Sanary, "It was February, we went on our first date around Valentine's Day. ...Feels like we've been dating forever, but it's onl been about four months, huh?"

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
The comment makes Medusa laugh, grinning from ear to ear. "Oh, it was /centuries/ ago I was thirty!" she chides. Perhaps Lute remembers that Kilik mentioned Medusa being alive when the first demon weapons were made over 800 years ago.

As for Lute's comment? The witch merely raises an eyebrow. She however doesn't say anything. Instead she focuses on his comment regarding witch nature. "I'll let you believe that, Lute~" Killing is one thing. Destruction is another.

So Sanary joined about one month after she died, did she? As for fighting? "Perhaps you can join me for sparring one day. I am afraid I am not quite up to par yet, this body is still new and relatively weak. I need to focus on building muscles again, so I'm taking lots of supplements. It is nice to be able to walk again, I must say..." With a shrug she watches the other two. "Aaah, so you two hit it off right from the start, I take it~?" Medusa inquires with a smile.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Sanary lets out a relieved sigh at that confirmation from Lute. "Okay. Just wanted to make sure." Laughing again, she raises an eyebrow as he uses that foreign sounding word, just looking confused by that more than anything else. She looks between the two to try and figure out what that means by context alone, but ends up not asking about that.

Surely it'll be fine for her to just look that up on the internet later.

"Sparring? Sure. You were kinda... Well, scary even on that first night, so don't expect me to hold back or anything." She smirks slightly as she leans back in the chair, looking Medusa over a few times before stroking her chin. "Make sure you're eating enough, too. I'm more of a close range fighter, so I can take hits pretty good if you just need a moving target, too."

Recalling how long it had been since their first date, the one-eyed healer lets out an intrigued grunt as she sits up a bit in her chair. Even if she's not wearing her best, she's still trying to make a good impression! "Only four? Huh... Longer than some people I knew back home, at least." She laughs, then clears her throat while suddenly looking a little more awkward. "... Well, because they're dead, but... Um. Yeah! He was doing this date contest thing with Vegeta and we just went from there."

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute chuckles a bit. He actually had forgotten Medusa was /that/ old. It's easy to forget when she looks that young. But, a smirk on his face, "Well, for your age, you /still/ look /incredibly/ beautiful."

With the whole 'destruction' thing, he shrugs, "Ehhh, I'll keep believing it. But, at the least, witches and humans seem close enough to get along. I mean, we're getting along pretty well, right?" He shrugs a little, looking at her. He's somewhat hoping for confirmation that they're getting along well.

The talk of the spar, though, get Lutes interested. He just smiles, "Yeah, both of you spar with everything you have. I mean, really. Even if you're weak, Medusa? A chance to go all out on the Field of Trials can help you go all out. Get used to your new body fast. I remember when I died and came back- ...long story- But, like, when that happened, it was only after my first good fight that I felt like me again."

Lute nods a bit, "Well, Vegeta turned the date thing into a contest. I just lucked out and got lots of dates. Invited Sanary, and... We hit it off pretty well. It's been a long time since I've hit it off with a woman this well, in fact." He gives Sanary a soft smile. But, suddenly, he's reminded of Medusa, and perks up. The hard part of dating two women at the same time: Ensuring both are given full attention. He reaches to Medusa, placing a hand on her hips, "Of course, we're doing pretty great as well~."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
"I am a close range figure myself, Sanary. So no need to worry~" Medusa reassures her. "And I am eating enough, why do you think I ordered two things to eat?" It is a bother having to build up muscle again, but it will be worth it. It's not like she wants to remain weak and unable to fight.

The flattery Lute attempts does bring forth a coy smile from Medusa. "I know it." What? Why not acknowledge it? She looks amused and at ease, and she doesn't seem bothered when Lute speaks warmly of Sanary at all. When he comments on the two of them getting along well too she nods. "I would say so. It's been a while since I last went out on a date, not since last summer. Then again, I am a rather busy woman most of the time..."

So. A dating contest. That sounds like... a hoot? "My, it sounds like you had your hands full." Literally. "Young people do fall in love so easily, don't you~?"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Looking Medusa over again after Lute's compliment, Sanary can't help but nod in agreement. "That's one thing I've noticed since coming here, too... Almost every Elite I've seen is just... /Really/ good-looking. I mean, aside from the ones with half-melted faces or something. But is that a thing here, too?"

And then something comes to mind when the talk of witches continues. "... Say, Medusa? Are there any gods where you're from? Not legendary weapons or anything-" dammit, Kilik, "-but... Super powerful beings. And if there are... Do you have ways to fight them?"

Blushing faintly at that continued ego-stroking from Lute, Sanary leans over to give his side a quick nudge. "H-hey. Flattery won't get you everywhere, you know." A complete lie, but she's still got a rep to protect! Maybe. Sort of. The redness only intensifies at Medusa's last statement, and she's sounding positively flustered by this point. "D-do we? It was a couple of month's ago, so it wasn't /that/ fast..."

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute chuckles a bit, shrugging, "Yeaaah, my hands were pretty full. ...A lot of the girls I'm still dating, though. Sanary is the most serious of them all, though. There are some others I went on dates with who I want to see again, though. Like--" He pauses, "...Ehhh, it's embarrasing talking about this a bit. Feels like I'm bragging. But I can go on, if you two want." Yes, even he realizes it is a bit off to talk about other dating perspectives while on a date.

Lute looks at Sanary, smiling, "...Yeah. We're doing very well. And yeah, it's been some time for us to get to know eachother, but... Yeah. I wanna stay with you forever." He pauses. He is /super/ tempted to ask Sanary to marry him. But from what he understands, women usually don't leap into marriage after just four months. ...Though with Harp it was a significantly shorter length of time.

He turns to Medusa again, smiling, and then back to Sanary, "I'm just... really glad you two get along. And Medusa, I know enough about you to know, well... If there is anyone out there who understands power, you seem like one who would. ...Sanary seeks great power. Can you help her with it? ...Even if maybe not quite to the point of teaching her to fight Gods, but to at least being as powerful as she can possibly be?"

     This can't possibly end poorly.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
Really? Medusa shrugs. "I don't know. I don't really care for most people nor what they look like, to be honest. I doubt it's a thing, however." There are some ugly ones too, of course.

Regarding the topic of gods, Medusa sighs. "There... are some who might as well be considered gods," she begins, looking a bit wary at what Sanary said. "There are always ways to fight them, but I hardly concern myself with that. Why do you ask?"

So. She wants power. The request Lute makes seems innocent enough, and Medusa nods. "I don't mind letting her observe and learn, no. I am hardly somebody who will train people if it is a distraction from my work, however. If you truly wish to become powerful, you will have to learn how to be observant.

At that moment the waiter returns with their food, setting the plates out in front of them. Medusa looks pleased, and she picks up her spoon as she begins on her soup. "Power comes in so many ways though," she continues, placing a napkin in her lap. "And sometimes non conventional power can be just as useful.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Mm... I am kinda curious about who else you've dated and still are dating, actually." There's a mischievous look in Sanary's eyes as she says that. "I mean... Better that we like each other or can get at least along with everyone else if we're doing this long-term, right?" Grinning still, she turns to Medusa again and narrows her eye slightly as if trying to figure something out. "Speaking of... Gotta introduce you to Yari some time. Er. If you haven't met her already, that is. We're also dating."

Returning to the discussion of power, she sits up in her chair again while setting the napkin in her lap and arranging the eating utensils where they should be. She's getting better at this! "Power, yeah... I want it for protection, mostly. For myself, for my friends. To get what I want when I want it. And if the..."

She pauses. Does the Grima thing even count? "... And if a dragon god shows up back home to blow everything up, I want to be ready to take it down." She seems somewhat confused at the notion of becoming observant. "I've been watching strong people fight for a while, but I'm still having trouble watching the really fast ones. I think I've been getting better, though, and you won't have to worry about me getting in the way or anything."

She's trying, at least, even if that might have gone right over her head.

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute shrugs a little, "...Well. I can tell you a bit of who all I dated, and who all I'm interested in dating. Right now, though, the only really /serious/ one is you, Sanary." A glance to Medusa, "And... I'd like that for you as well, for us to be serious with time. Though, if you just want casual fun with a younger guy, that's fine, too." But, he clears his throat a bit, back on the topic, "The... main ones, right now, are you two, Yari, Sarracenia, Fuki on occasion, Miko, and... Well. The one who I have only been on one date with, but want to go with again? ...Wo. We've talked on the radio a lot, but."

Lute pauses. "...So including you two, and my wife, that's... Eight women I'm courting at the moment."

Lute pauses, staring at Sanary and Medusa. He smiles, looking at the two, "...Yeah. I haven't heard much of the cults, but Sanary told me a bit. From the sound of things, though, this cult would stand against the Confederacy. So we should help prepare for it, just in case. And... I want her to be as strong as possible, to keep her safe."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
"Yari? I have met her, I believe. And oh?" Sanary is just like Lute and into dating several people? Interesting. It's not like a witch is about to tell people what they can and cannot do.

Her reasoning for wanting to get stronger is also interesting. Dragon gods. Medusa narrows her eyes slightly, looking pensive as she considers this. "You do know you can enlist aid from the Confederacy, right?" she reminds the younger woman. "There are several people who wouldn't mind fighting beings who claim to be deities."

One can hardly blame Lute for being honest... at least Medusa won't. As he lists all the women he is seeing at the moment she looks like she's about to chuckle. "I don't mind spending time with people who can amuse me, no~" she responds with a smile, then reaches out to take a sip of her wine. Then again, Medusa seems to find amusement in many things that some people shudder at.

"We will keep Sanary safe one way or the other," she adds before resuming to eat spoonfuls of her soup. "Cults come and go. This one will be no different."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
All familiar names! That's actually something of a relief. "Didn't know you were dating Fuki, too... Explains a bit, though." She chuckles and sets out to devouring part of her entree made of three other entrees. "Just been you two and Yari for me lately. Vegeta was more into the contest part, Orphen was..." She furrows her brow. "Didn't seem like a bad guy, but it was before I got the eye. And he kinda had us... Run out."

She says that last part quietly, having the sense to not broadcast that fact to a completely different restaurant.

"Weird thing is, I think they'd probably join up with us if our other allies is a sign." She takes a sip of her tea, a thoughtful look still on her face. "Probably more likely to help us than the Union, at least. But siding with people that want to blow everything up just feels like bad... What's the word? Strategy." Another sip. "'d rather be able to do this on my own instead of always going to other people for help, you know?"

Laughing after a moment, she cuts off a big chunk of lasagna and devours that before speaking up again. "Mrph.. Thanks, though. I want to be able to keep you all safe too, though. Not just-holy crap, this is good-Uh. Not just hanging back and fixing people up after they get hurt."

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute nods, smiling. A cheerful look is on her face, as he looks towards Medusa. This whole thing is incredibly relieving. He didn't expect these two to get along /so/ well, and for Medusa to be honestly wanting to help Sanary get stronger? It's a relief.

He smiles slightly, "...And yeah, the cult might join up with us. I could see it happening. But, in general, destroying an entire world is, in fact, counter productive. But. It all depends on what happens. I'd suggest talking to the higher ups in the Confederacy about your worries with the Cult, Sanary. They tend to listen pretty well to concerns."

He pauses. He really wishes Juno had done as such. He eats a bit while thinking, and regretting.

But for now, he just leans back against the chair, smiling. He yawns. Stretching a bit. And his hands fall onto Sanary and Medusa's backs.

"...glad we can help you get stronger, at least, Sanary. And Medusa, what about you? Since you're helping us, anything you need help with? I mean, I'm still keeping an ear out for the Hiei and D fight."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
"Sometimes you have to blow some stuff up," Medusa shrugs. Doesn't bother her even a little bit. "And you will find ways to do it yourself, Sanary. Once you know how to do so, it's surprisingly easy in my opinion." It does require some acting talent to pull off what Medusa does, but who knows? Maybe Sanary will learn it.

It is a rather calm mood around the table. Medusa enjoys her soup, not minding Lute's hand at her back at all. As for whether or not she needs anything? "Not besides getting me filled in on what's going on around the multiverse, no. I doubt you would be much help in medical, Lute dear~" she teases.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
The thought of working /with/ the Grimleal is confusing to Sanary. On one hand, there would probably be some familiar faces if that happened. On the other hand, it had taken her quite a while just to get her head out of that mindset that seemed so pervasive back home. "If it means helping the Confederacy... Mm. W-we'll see. Because their whole thing is blowing /everything/ up because... " She makes a confused noise to go with her shrug.

Maybe she'd just have to bite the bullet on that one.

"Definitely gotta learn better ways to do it, at least. The eye's a start, but... Not good enough. Too much of a drain, too small." She's fairly fast learner, at least, so who knows if she'll be able to keep up? Time will tell.

"Lute's got lots of Pokemon ,though. Maybe they could help with moving stuff around or..." She pauses, raising an eyebrow at Lute while cramming more lasagna into her face. "Didn't that green one teleport? Maybe she could do that to stuff that's stuck inside people that shouldn't be."

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute smiles at Medusa, relaxing, a little. His hand remains where it is for some time, "Well. If you need anything, let me know. I'll do whatever I can." He still doesn't know Medusa's long term goals.

Lute smiles softly at Sanary. He looks her, directly in the eyes. While he is a kind and loving person in many ways, there are a few ways where he is, almost entirely, a monster. "Sanary, if you want your world to survive, we can try for that. But, if we do ally with the cultists? You, at least, will be safe." Yeah, Lute doesn't care if a world is destroyed, as long as those who he cares for are kept safe.

He leans back, looking at both of them. Smiling, considering. A happy sigh as he looks at them both. Really, the food in front of him doesn't matter. The fact that two women he cares for are with him makes him as happy as he can be. He might even have ideas that Medusa might be using him, but at the same time, he still cares for her. But, he just continues to enjoy the meal with the three of them, til it is finished.
