She went far last year, will she do it again? Fuki's master, Kourin's in the stands, holding up a "YOu go Fuki!" along with most of Kourin's Shinki repitorie.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fuki herself gives a wave to the crowd, her scythe, rifle and armor materalizing into view, making a mid air bow. "I'm going to move on to the matches! So help me here!"<br> <br>

She needs to keep light on her feet to fight two opponents at once, so she's relying mainly on her unreinforced leather armor and nanotech for this match up. "Good, good! Would be disappointed if you did not have countermeasures to such tactics!" She uses a thrust of one set of blades to bust the rock flung at her, but the rubble resulting from the deflection attempt still belts her with jagged stone shrapnel.<br /><br />She tries to twist out of the way but Fuki's small size makes her extremely fast and the acid tainted blade slices across the side of the Draken's midsection even as she's trying to maneuver. She presses it, a small bit of smoke is given and down comes a Shinki-Sized hunk of granite in the shape of Fuki holding a staff falling directly at Mantigora!<br> <br>

If it wasn't for all the intergrated augementations Stalkers have through their nanotech, those blows could do a lot worse than welts and bruises and possibly a broken rib of three.<br /><br />But again her tenacity to remain aware of her surroundings as well as her opponent pay off, and she's able to dive and roll out of the way of the... falling statue? That.. actually gets a befuddled look out of her at how sheerly odd the attack method was even if it did miss. And it's when she's gawking that one last tentacle smacks into her face and for a moment floors the Draken.<br /><br />With a growl she gets back up, and makes a quick sprint towards Ika, coming in with a powerful thrusting strike with one of her arm blades. It looks like she's forgotten entirely about Fuki... Until a second Mantigora seems to appear right next to her, taking a slicing swing at the robot girl as well. It's a hologram, but thanks to the nanotech projection it is more than enough of a physical construct to make the blow actually hurt if it does hit.<br> <br>

She rubs at her face, quietly whimpering... but then peeks between her fingers as she senses movement! On impact... she very obviously dod not weigh the same as before, because she leaves an enormous crater beneath her feet, sending rubble flying in all directions! One of the larger pieces of rubble is grabbed by her tentacles, and she swings it around, trying to sandwitch Fuki between it and the ground!<br> <br>

"Well shi..." *CRUNCH!* goes the Shinki beneath the rubble, creating a good sized hole in the ground... at least, despite being bruised and battered, she can at least ponder her next action here... one... she's dealing with a technological adept person and a squid. Three: A lot of her armor is broken... and she's not happy about it.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With these three thoughts in mind, she bursts out of the ground and huffs... No armor!<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I need to get past this point in the tournament, I'm sorry!" she shouts as she makes another run between them, taking another slice at the outer thighs as she goes by them both once more, "And enough tentacles!"<br> <br>

Mantigora digs her feet in to brace herself, dumping a charge of nano-energy into her personal emergency shields. Unfortunately she has no idea about the change in Ika's mass as well, and the aerial drop slams into her with enough force that there is an audible shattering sound as the shield tech is broken. The only virtue of this is hitting the shield pushes her out from under the squid girl, and instead of getting slammed into the middle of that crater the shock of the impact just slams her into the ground at the edge of it.<br /><br />With a grunt she gets partway onto her feet, only to stop and smack the palm of hand against the side of her head. Something from the force of that blow caused a disruption in her hardware. Fuki's attack capitalizes on the moment though, intentional and not, and the double gash from darting between her legs gets a growl of pain out of the Draken. She's starting to rack up injury faster than her nanotech can keep up with, if the fact that the gouges in her thighs are actually bleeding instead of being sealed up is any indicator.<br /><br />"Well, if we are going to be playing with blades.." The Stalker extends her own weapons fully, a palpable thrum in the air as they start charging with energy. With both her opponents still in relatively close quarters all she has to do is making a powerful swing and go into a frenzied spinning motion with her arms outstretched. Even if one manages to avoid the whirling arm-blades directly, there's the the trails of slicing energy left in her whirlijig wake to worry about!<br> <br>

"Hey, my tentacles!" Ika Musume tries to block some of the shinki's slashes with her tentacles, but that only results in two of them having bits sliced off. A few more of those strikes get through to her legs, and the squid girl stumbles back and falls on her rear. "We're not playing with blades!" More tentacles come up to block Mantigora, and three more have bits sliced off, leaving the girl whimpering. Her 'hair' seems to be much more of a mess now, with only two left hanging behind her head and two in front. <br /><br />"I..I'm not scared at all, these will grow back!" The two in the back of her head extend ot, swatting at Fuki frantically, while Ika Musume herself runs at Mantigora. She lowers her head, charging in... and stops just short of attempting to ram! Instead, those short fins on her 'hat' swing, slapping the taller fighter. For such narrow fins with such a small reach, they're able to hit quite hard, though!<br> <br>

Or at least an attempt that is! And with Mantigora, she takes her other kama and darts over, moving to slam the blade's tip or at least try to slam it into her shoulder, "Aaaaah! Enough!"<br> <br>

The slap as awkward as it is still packs enough to stagger the Stalker, and Fuki preys upon the moment with her not so tender administrations, jabbing a sword into her shoulder. That stings! And of all things, still smiling... though that is hardly the pleasant, comforting sort of smile. Being an alien cat-lizard woman aside. "Yeees... You both certainly more formidable than appearances tell... But that better not be the best you can offer!" She grabs for Fuki, trying to do so before the Shinki can fly off, and give her a good hard squeeze before throwing her aside.<br /><br />Then emits a warring cry as she bumrushes Ika, still quite fast despite her injuries, and lashes out with her blades to take out some of her savage fury upon the squid and her crazy barrage of tentacles.<br> <br>

All four remaining tentacles whip out, crossing to parry the blades, though one gets a bit sliced off one side for her troubles. The lack of effectiveness in just lashing the squid-girl directly has no passed her notice, and Mantigora attempts to make some quick accomidation for it. She manages to slap one of the tentacles away with her blades, but the other three slam into her forcefully right afterwards. The 1-2-3 is more than enough force her away from her opponent.<br /><br />But keeping Stalkers at bay is never an easy proposition to manage. Mobility on the battlefield was one of the things they were known and feared for on Nexus. Even when already beaten to a bloody pulp.<br /><br />She grinds a heel into the ground, spits out a bit of said blood, and then pushes off into another rush towards Ika. But this time at the last moment she veers off, using a side-dashing jump to break to the side. Only for False Retreat to live up to its name as the tactic allows her to jump right back at Ika from the side with a quick jab of the claws to get in close. Followed by a jumping kick to the chest, that from which she spins around to make a second kick with the other foot at Ika's head while giving herself a little more air.<br /><br />So she can wind-up and use the downward motion to bring a powerful downward slash with both sets of claws at once as she drops back to the ground.<br> <br>

She retracts her tentacles, but the first strike lands, knocking her off balance, and the follow-up kick strikes her square in the chest. She's already staggering back when the second kick hits, sending her flying back a good distance, clear of the claw strike, but tumbling end over end through the rubble of the cratered arena grounds. <br /><br />The dust is still floating in the air as Ika Musume wobbles to her feet, taking a step forward. "Ahhh..." She blinks, taking a breath... and then sneezes as the dust tickles her nose. "ACHOO!" Of course, she's a squid, and the result is a blob of ink flying across the battlefield, splattering over the ground. "Ah.. 'scuse me." The squid rubs her nose with a tentacle, then charges forward, other tentacles spreading out to strike!<br /><br />And that's when she slips on the ink, skidding and turning her controlled charge into a head-first ram all the way to Mantigore!<br> <br>

There's definately a couple of broken ribs and she doesn't have the energy reserves left to let her nanotech quick-patch it up. All the same she pushes herself back onto her feet, and spits out another wad of gunk from her mouth. "... Been long time since I've tasted my own blood." But it's going to take more than that and a brutal three-way fight to keep a Draken down.<br /><br />When Ika recovers and comes charging towards her Mantigora winds back for a counter-attack swing.... but the slip on the ink brings that tactic to a crashing halt as Ika skids below the tall alien's strike range and plows into her midsection with her hard head. You can hear the wind being knocked out of her from the stands!<br /><br />But that toothy grin still somehow remains. "Fortunate you, both, are on the same side.." And then she finally collapses over, unable to quite get the right compliment out before her stamina fades entirely.<br> <br>
