Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/151 (No Timeout) Posted Author No Reindeer Again (1) Dec 25 2014 Amalthea

A silver metal reindeer with a red light bulb nose and twigs duct taped on for antlers seriously did not drop these gifts off. You are fucking insane if you think you saw that.

Ellestaria - Amalthea's very own wife is one of the first people on her Christmas list. Her gift is also a surprise and to be given in person.

Ariel - Whatever gift Amalthea had planned for Ariel this year mysteriously vanishes. It was a nice one, too, from mother to daughter. It has been replaced with a Wyld Bobblehead. The same one that comes back to haunt Amalthea's worst dreams of Ariel ever getting it. Shaking the bobblehead makes something crazy happen. Like bringing the fairy-shaped lamps to life to suddenly hug people, or desks coming to life and eating people's clothes, levels of crazy. Once Ariel has had her fun with it, it will disappear back into the aether from whence it came, until next hilarious opportunity to make Amalthea's life miserable. When it disappears, Amalthea's original gift will be found. It's a fairy habitat, for Ariel's pet pixie.

Dex - Amalthea has not forgotten her students in her list of holiday gift giving, and that means Dex is the proud recipient of... A phone number. He knows who's it is. A more serious gift for the archer-youth is a pair of gloves and a pair of boots. The gloves are dragon hide, and probably cost Amalthea a fair bit of coin to get enchanted. So long as he has the gloves on he'll never lose grip on his bow unless he wants to release it. The boots are of a similar material, and won't wear out for a very long time.

Ainsley - Ainsley has grown up quite a bit hasn't she. Well Amalthea hasn't forgotten her other student either. The quetzal is the recipient of a matching pair of His and Her scholars robes. As a dual gift for her and Faruja. Though included with this is a very very, extremely old leather bound book of fairy tales and mythology. Might be an interesting read.

Pegasus - Amalthea's surviving and no longer insane sister gets a day off from bakery work. Or at least a coupon that can call Amalthea in at any time to work for her for one day. This is probably a bad idea as Amalthea cannot bake for shit. But a more serious gift is given in the form of a framed picture. It is an artist's rendition of a very muscular and manly Nathan Hall seated atop some kind of super mega stylized mechanical Pegasus. It looks like something clean off a heavy metal rock album cover. Behind it however is the actual picture it is based off of, taken from the time Pegasus flew Nathan on her back to go crystal hunting.

Nathan Hall - As usual Nathan gets a card teasingly demanding to know when Amalthea can officially start calling him brother in law. He also gets tickets for a weekend vacation cruise, for when he needs to get away from the stresses of being a goddamn general. There are two tickets, it should be obvious who the other is for.

Psyber - And just what does Psybro get? Well, Brodin, god of Bro, receives a jar completely filled to the brim with unicorn glitter and sparkles. That's not all though, as Amalthea has also gotten him some glitter-proof gloves. A much more serious gift however takes the form of a leather belt, with flowing designs woven into it in a rainbow threading. The embroidery is one hundred percent authentic robot unicorn hair. And it will allow Psyber to double-jump. This is all included with a 'family photo'. It's got Amalthea, Lest, Ariel, Al Azif, Arthur, Elsa, Lila, and Psyber in it. It looks like it was taken during that beach debacle in Innsmouth. Volleyball with Ithaqua is occurring.

Riva Banari - Riva gave tacos and this means Riva GETS tacos. Specifically, Amalthea has sent Riva a chunk of the latest harvest of Atlantean tacos, from the homegrown batches farmed somewhere inside the unicorn's secretive volcano lair. Along with recipes for: Taco pudding, taco ice cream, taco smoothies, taco stir fry... Of course there are also instructions on how to EAT the strange disc-shaped fruit things.

Wuyin Tsai - Wuyin ALSO gets some tacos of the Atlantean

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/152 (No Timeout) Posted Author No Reindeer Again(2) Dec 25 2014 Amalthea

Ryuko Matoi - A pass for one Orbital Drop Pod landing anyfuckingwhere she wants. Be it for fun or to actually get somewhere fast.

Homura - Homura Akemi is on Amalthea's shopping list. She gets a fruitcake. There is a chunk of C4 in it for her to 'have fun' with whenever.

Rhapsody - Rhapsody's gift is a framed picture from several years ago. A very grumpy Amalthea has somehow been coerced into looking less grumpy during some time hanging out with Niv and the kits, and someone managed to snap a picture of it. It is one in a series of pictures, each one depicting a very angry Amalthea getting closer and closer to the poor Izzet intern that snapped the shot.

Elliana Fairchild - That field of flowers Elliana sent Amalthea's family to, one Christmas ages back? Amalthea returns there. Several boughs are then sent to the Drassilium.

Laer - Believe it or not Laer gets something from Amalthea. And it's not all fire and brimstone. Though the card displays a snowman on fire, cursing violently, Amalthea writes some basic holiday plattitudes on the inside. The actual gift is several sets of bass strings.

Sakura Haruno - Sakura gets an invitation to the manse for dinner sometime. Though also of note Amalthea has included an I.O.U. for one(1) hug.

Al Azif - Textbook and her shoggoth get a whole mini fridge of taco treats. Mainly taco pudding. All for them.

Arthur Lowell - Arthur gets a key to the Arkham Safehouse from Amalthea as a crash pad for whenever. AMALIE THE CRAZY GGO ROLEPLAYER ALSO SENDS HIM A GIFT. It is a badly photoshopped picture of the poster from that one movie where the guy had amnesia and tattooed all kinds of cryptic messages on his body to remember his quest for vengeance. Amalie has photoshopped Arthur's face onto said poster. 'Try to remember!'

Kaminagi Setsuko - Setsuko gets a brand new sword care kit, with all the proper whetstones, oils, powder, and ricepaper needed to keep a katana in prime condition. Not that an eternal blade of a fallen nameless god probably needs it, but it's symbolic for the dedication and discipline Setsuko constantly displays. Though it does come with a note saying that if Setsuko ever needs a shield at her side, Amalthea will be there in a flash, and all she need but do is ask.

Fate T. Harlaown - Fate gets a 150 credit gift card for a very nice shop in Njorun that sells high quality teas, tea blends, and odd tea flavors.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/153 (No Timeout) Posted Author STILL No Reindeer (3) Dec 25 2014 Amalthea

Reker - Reker's gift doesn't come from Amalthea, Amalthea hardly knows the guy. He does get a gift in his in-game mailbox from that crazy maid roleplayer Amalie, though. Included is an extended clip magazine mod for his 1911. ... He also gets a terrible fanfic grade RP backstory for christmas as well: 'I know it must be difficult, being a superhuman lone supersoldier, made to save humanity. But with your help we'll all pull through, I'm sure of it.'

Kirito - It's another gift from Amalie and not Amalthea. Kirito gets a hairband accessory in game. To keep those gorgeous flowing locks from getting into his eyes. He already has a terrible RP background, Amalie's real gift is that she isn't expanding on it and making it worse. ... For now.

Alexis Maaka - AMALIE SENDS ALEXIS AN HK416. It has a bow on it. The bow can be removed, but it's fairly fashionable. FASHIONABLE I SWEAR.

Sakura Kinomoto - Gets a taco.

Priscilla - Amalthea had to hunt a bit for Priscilla's gift, but it's one she should recognize. It's a crystal, brilliantly clear even without being cut. It's not very large, and fits in the palm of one hand quite easily. But it's the same kind of crystal that was used to fashion Ariel's heart.

Annu Survivors - Each and every Elite that went to Annu receives a single blue candle. Though meant to be burned in memory of a painful and traumatic experience, once lit, it exudes a gentle and soothing scent, meant to bring ease and calm.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/154 (No Timeout) Posted Author NO REINDEER AT DUN REALTAI I SWEAR Dec 25 2014 Amalthea

Sir Bedivere and Saber - Both receive bracelets carved from wood. It is beech. One depicts a lion. The other depicts a sword and shield. Both have a braid of rainbow threading attached. The bracelets are always drawn to each other.

THIS MAY OR MAY NOT BE MORE TEASING.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/155 (No Timeout) Posted Author Priscilla's almost late gifts (1/2 Dec 25 2014 Priscilla

In alphabetical order:

Ainsley: Copies of a collection of maps based off the ones she'd drawn, drawn in Gregorian illuminated style by the collective hands of a group of very talented monks or scholars. The note says that their existing maps were decades old, and that Ainsley's were so accurate they decided to use them to update.

Amalthea: A golden ring with an inset stone of strange, speckled, rainbow hues. The note indicates that it is a 'stoneplate' ring, which is meant to be the symbol of a true knight and gifted only after facing great hardships. Not only does it match Amalthea's colour palette, but it grants small protection against magical and elemental attacks and hazards, perhaps so that she'll die less.

Ariah: A small case containing a collection of rare, silvery herbs, like moonlight pressed into the shape of dried leaves. The note indicates that ingesting them will recover spent magic power, and also that only a single one at a time should be sufficient.

Ariel: A strange doll wearing a strange dress. It looks like must have been very old, but well taken care of, and has recently been patched up to look good as new. It is steeped in powerful magic, but it's impossible to tell what kind. Its only real function is to provide companionship, as squeezing it tightly seems to allay fears and assuage worry and loneliness. The note says that Priscilla doesn't know how much use Ariel will get out of such a thing with parents as wonderful as hers, but that after all its been through, she thinks it deserves to help another child grow up.

Ayako: An authentic set of clothes belonging to a priestess of Anor Londo. They look extremely expensive, and feature a lot of white, silver and gold, but without the headpiece, they're not so flashy that they couldn't be worn at a formal function or special occasion. They very vaguely resemble Ayako's goddess getup, though only by coincidence, and reveal far less of her figure. The note says that even humble spirits deserve to show off every now and again.

Chris: A set of ordinary coins etched with trace amounts of black titanite. They are essentially indestructible by normal means, and amplify electricity passing into them. Essentially, they'd be exceptionally lethal weapons in Chris' hands, without being any more conspicuous than the spare change he usually uses. The note simply congratulates him for his cleverness, especially at the Battle of Stoicism.

Eryl: A written promissory of some kind of "upgrade". The details are scarce. The note is strangely coy despite being so straightforward, communicating only that a righteous man shouldn't fear a god, no matter what world it comes from.

Faruja: An ornately etched ring of something that looks like rose gold, but far harder. The note indicates that it is a valuable artifact only gifted to those trusted in Gwynevere's service. Wearing it boosts the user's ability to channel divine powers.

Fassad: A written offer to smith a single weapon of his choosing from any noteworthy soul or materials he comes across. The note assures him that Priscilla still remembers his searching for a weapon to rival the master sword, and that as long as he continues to be a steadfast ally, she will see it done.

Gaius: A tiny replica of the iron golem of Sen's Fortress. Though it is only made of regular iron, it is animated by similar magic to the real thing, and will remain so indefinitely. The note makes mention that it will fight anything else roughly the same size as it, if given a weapon.

Kimiko: A ring made of ordinary steel, but carved into an exceptionally convoluted pattern. It is very faintly magical, but somehow seems more powerful than first impressions would let on. The note says it belonged to a famous knight, or is at least a copy of the one that did, and should harden and toughen armour and shields used by its wearer.

Landon: Copies of a set of ancient books tracing the various laws, tenets, pacts, covenants, offenses, sentences, sins and punishments recorded in the city of Anor Londo, evolving through centuries of use. The note only draws attention to the fact that nearly everything Gwyndolin did acted against one of these rules, so as to not give Landon the wrong impression.

Lezard: A small crate of culture experiments done with living crystal, cleared straight out of Seath's basement. The note says that Priscilla doesn't want them and neither does anyone else, but she assumes Lezard will probably have a use for them if he's so fixated on the crystals that were already there.

Lu-Mey: Some kind of fuzzy acorn that looks vaguely like an egg. The note indicates that one is meant to eat it to rid the body of unwanted parasites. It doesn't seem as if Priscilla knows that Lu-Mey collects them.

Mizuki: Only a note, which is lengthy and personal. The note makes mention of someone called Ariamis, and says that Priscilla has found something very important pertaining to him that Mizuki will almost certainly wish to see.

Na'Sa: A small bag of tiny silver talismans of some kind. Expending the magic inside of one will make the user appear to be one of many harmless objects very loosely equivalent to their size, almost always chosen to match other assorted clutter of the surrounding environment. The note says that Priscilla doesn't mind whether she uses them for skullduggery or just pranks, but that she hopes she enjoys them.

Nathan: A written guarantee of access to the deepest level of the Duke's Archives, along with a lengthy cipher recovered from a secret room to decode the grimoires present there. The note implies a great level of trust in Nathan if Priscilla is alright with handing him access to books as powerful as these; especially with his known penchant for soul augmentation.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/156 (No Timeout) Posted Author Priscilla's almost late gifts (2/2 Dec 25 2014 Priscilla

Psyber: An extremely valuable piece of red tearstone, cut to the size of a large marble, and affixed to a silver chain. The rare gem has the uncanny ability to sense imminent death, and glows brightly when the one who carries it is mortally wounded; dramatically enhancing their powers for a brief time. The note Psyber receives is also extremely long and personal, stating that there is no material object Priscilla can give him that is worth what he has done for her now, but that if he insists on helping people so recklessly, he should benefit from the gift at some point.

Riva and Wuyin: An ordinary looking ring affixed with a strange, night-black opal that shines oddly under angled light. The note tells her that the ring is a sort of dummy, in that it absorbs the cost of death inflicted on a body, and allows the wearer to reincarnate or resurrect immediately in perfect health, but that it only works once.

Sakura: An extremely expensive bottle that seems to be more gold filigree than glass, filled with silvery white liquid. The note says that the contents are water blessed by Gwynevere herself, and that drinking it will rapidly heal all types if injuries, maladies, and afflictions, even magical in nature. The communicated intent is for Sakura to use it when she feels that her powers might not be enough, but still feels the duty of a healer to save someone.

Serori: A written promise for a hero's feast in the traditional style held for human warriors who earn their way into Anor Londo, allowing for up to eleven friends and subordinates. The terms stipulated by the note are that the offer only remains good if Priscilla's business in Lordran concludes successfully and that the Confederates in attendance continue to not cause trouble.

Staren: A letter from Quelaag and her sister, personally written to express their gratitude for his efforts, sent with a picture of Quelaan smiling away in her new body. It also comes with a note from Priscilla telling him that he has an unlimited book checkout count in the Duke's Archives.

Shirou: A simple invitation to see a handful of swords that Shirou may have interest in. The note expresses that Priscilla finds it difficult to gift something practical to someone who does everything with magical copies, but that she hopes what she has in mind might be useful.

Tomoe: A handful of lifegems and repair powder, and a note indicating how to use them and saying that Priscilla isn't really sure which would work on an avatar, so Tomoe should try both before the next death game starts.

Yuna: A finely wrought silver chime clearly modeled after the Bell of Awakening. Though mostly crafted as a curio to other pilgrims, it apparently houses some small amount of holy power, in that ringing it while incanting a phrase contained in the note will soothe mental and physical pain.

Saber recieves a simple box, though it is kind of large. Inside is a fairly wide selection of outfits, all of them from her former Master's secret shopping trips around Fuyuki, perfectly sized to fit the Servant. They're also quite feminine, but with a lot of Sakura's own style - simple solid colors, long skirts, soft blouses, and cute shoes. There's also plenty of hair decorations, from things like a silver ponytail clip to the kinds of cute little barettes that Taiga helped her pick out. It's not quite a direct copy of her look, but enough to give Saber so many cute points with Bedivere that he won't think straight for a month.

Rhapsody: "Dogbert's Guide to Guild Management", and a wall scroll, hand-inked, depicting Niv-Mizzet in flight over a distant Ravnica below him.

Sidonia: A kid's Spy Kit, and a looong vertical scroll of Niv, hand-inkled, at rest, flanked by torches that dwarf a human below.

Ryxinel:The complete and indexed catalogue of items from The Room of Order, curtesy of Yu and Mi. There's a sparkly tongue depresser being used as a bookmark. Glitter may get everywhere. There is also a wall scroll of Niv-Mizzet working a great forge, likely inked from Yunomi's imagination.

Thaniel: A gigantic mug that says #1 Teacher. It is full of nuts and bolts.

Yuna: A pocket sewing kit that magically re-sews stage costumes, in case of wardrobe emergency!

Rainbow Dash: A new line from Danger Tanuki Studios: Prism Racer! Equine Superhero of Equis, who uses her speed, high agility and martial arts training to defend her world from evil-dooers like Reign-In, an evil queen who tries to imprison the world with a dark rainbow!

Neva Fernandez: A comfy, thick, zippered sweatshirt with the new Izzet sigil on the back, and 'Property of the Izzet Kickass Dept." on the front, right, over the chest. There's a note:

"Welcome to the Izzet! Enjoy this finely made sweatshirt!" Serori: A single pressed flower, it looks like an Ume, or 'Japanese Plum' between two sheets of contact paper, with a strip of blue silk turned and twisted around it and trailing down like a bookmark. In blue ink there is a note: "I am thankful for a taste of home. It eases the pain. -Y"

Gohan: A fine collection of chocolates and puzzle books. And a note in blue ink: "I am truly greatful that you released the village's people and fellow yokai without further incident. Thank you. -Y"

Reker: A blue stocking, full of gum.

Loki: A green stocking, full of sweets. At the bottom is a colorful, hand-wound wrist band. It turns the wearer's hair bright blue, no matter what shape shifting magic is in place.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/160 (No Timeout) Posted Author Gifts from a Commodore Dec 25 2014 Jeannette Thompson

All Union Elites receive a bottle of wine; the ones set seem to be a random selection of vintages 3 to five years old, from a number of different vineyards in the Triancian city of Raletza. The note on all of them reads:

"Happy Holidays in this special time of year. Please enjoy this with the ones you love." The note is signed "The Barony of Raletza, Special Envoy for the Raletzan Greater Agricultural District, Delegated." There is, of course, information on how to purchase more of this wine from a variety of vineyards, in case the flavor peeks their interest.

RHAPSODY: Rhapspdy receives a small, ornate blade, a main gauche-style parrying dagger, shinning with what look to be gold and silver inlays. The note folded around it reads:

"Remember that sometimes, a blade can protect you, in more ways that one. Train with it well, and do not let it's design fool you; I appreciate the aesthetic, but I doubt neither you or I can afford to pick something without utility. Merry Christmas, my student."

FARUJA: The rat priest doesn't receive a cross, or other religious artifact... in the strict sense of the term. In a jewelry case, wrapped around a silver chain is a small, sealed container of what looks to be sea salt. The envelope with it contains what looks to be an explanation.

"I am not a religious woman, Reverend, and I can tell that you may wish to speak to me on that. I do, as any sailor does, have my own beliefs in what things may inhabit the world beyond our sight and understanding. Call them superstitions, but this is one of them. This is sea salt collected from my city, Raletza. In olden days, it was collected at the beach itself. Now it's the product of desal plants, but it remains to remind us of both the taste and feel of the coast we come from. If you'd like to see what I come from, let me know, and I'll show you the coast. Merry Christmas."

KONGOU:Kongou gets a framed picture of a large ship, armor dark gray, most of it's superstructure smooth with right angles; next to it is another picture of a group of Triancian officers, a dozen of them or so, the senior crew of the RTS /Mount Tilsday/, BCRN-41. Each one has signed their name to the side in a gold pen, along with a scroll on the bottom

'To our ancestor; from the Officers and Crew of /Mount Tilsday/, have a Merry Christmas, and please come see us soon!'

FLEET MAIDENS:Each Fleet Maiden receives ID cards from the Royal Triancian Navy, the pictures obviously drawn from the Union's records and files. While the code is a bit hard to decipher, a little research would reveal these are cards indicating the hold is the Captain of a foreign ship, normally assigned specifically to the nations Triancia considers 'close allies'. Notes attached to each read:

"On behalf of the Royal Triancian Navy, we welcome your fleet into our harbors whenever you need our supplies or would wish to enjoy our hospitality. We shall always welcome ships, as well as their captains and crews, who fight with honor, for the principles of justice and freedom on the seas. - Sir Admiral Johnathan Rednicker, Knight-Captain, Order of the Three Admirals, Commanding, Multiversal Expeditionary Fleet, Royal Triancian Navy. By Direction.

CRIMSON SEA:Crimson, through a back channel, gets a bottle of fine rum, purchased from a well-known pirate haven on the Eastern Great Ocean. There's a simple notion, on a paper without letterhead or seal.

"A peace offering, in this period of temporary truce. I should hope it may placate you, as personal tribute, to cease hunting in Triancian waters. If it does not sway you, enjoy it in the spirit of the season. And know that I will be coming." It is not signed.

<<OOC: If I've missed anyone here, please feel free to guilt me mercilessly, as I am glad to make this list longer!>>

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/161 (No Timeout) Posted Author Zombie Hunter Gifts Dec 25 2014 Richard Stadler

All Union Elites get the standard Richard Stadler holiday pack: vouchers for military firearms training, two ampoules of the 'Daylight' vaccine/anti-viral cocktail for the latest T-Virus strain, and a copy of the current United States Army TM on 'Bio-Organic Weapon Counterforce Operations'. The generic type written note reads:

"From all of us at Fort Detrick, to all of you out there, have a safe and Merry Christmas."

ELISE LEROY: The Commander gets a large weapon case; inside is a single, older type XM430 Electromagnetic Recoilless Rifle, as well as an encrpyted flash drive, and a typed letter:

"The encryption key is on the secure storage section of the databases here. This is as far as Technology Division in Aberdeen have gotten in miniaturizing the Paracelsus' Sword prototype, and funding has been pressed to other areas. I'm hoping that Dr. Shen might be able to take this a bit farthur, given the research situation you have. Merry Christmas, and happy hunting."

YUNOMI STADLER: Yunomi gets a set of coordinates and a single set of keys, which unlock a used 2006 Jeep Wrangler with her name on the registration, parked in the Fort Detrick parking lot. A note stuck in an envelope on the windshield reads:

"Yunomi, I've understood that have a Tanuki for a daughter has a a downside; you grow up as fast as your mind does. I can't give you a large mound of toys like I've done in the past, and you've gone beyond what methods of transportation that I can provide. Still, there's practicalities, and then there's rite of passages, and I'm not missing this one. I love you, and Merry Christmas.

P.S. If you need a license, just let me know. I can have me or one of my staff help you out (the Senior Chief has had certain training in that regard.

P.P.S Biometic lock on the glove box for holding a pistol (I think you've already got one). Make sure you get a CCL. Bugout bag in the trunk, along with an M14 Staff Sergeant Fleece managed to find. 300 rounds 7.62mm, NATO. If LEOs ask, you're an avid hunter. Keeping a hunting permit up is your responsibility."

In the trunk, there is the proscribed rifle, with a note reading 'Aim for the head! ^_^ - Kari <3'

Rhapsody: Rhapsody receives a Glock 18, including a Small of the Back concealable holster, and clips of ammo, both the standard length and extended. There's a note from Stadler.

"I know you prefer those swords of yours, but promise me you'll keep this with you when you're out and about. It's fully automatic, so it doesn't require a large amount of aim. Point and click in the direction of a room. If you want to be more effective with it, of course, let me know. I'll make some time for it. Merry Christmas, and stay safe."

A note on the Glock reads "Just spray and pray! :D -Kari <3"

REBECCA CHAMBERS: Chambers receives a an old, yet well cared for box of Aqua Cure, from it's brief run on the market before the Raccoon City incident and Umbrella's downfall. A note reads:

"One of my personal mementos. I've got a case of them I keep in a storage facility. First batch off the assembly line if you're a collector. Maybe not very effective, but hopefully a reminder of a simplier, more peaceful time for both of us. Merry Christmas."

AGIL: Agil receives a series of framed pictures of the various Gatecrasher shenanigans to hang up in his bar, as a reminder of the friendship they all have.

FAYT RAVUS: Fayt gets a matching ? stand to match his ! one from the year previous. Someone has a sense of humor.

NATHAN HALL: Nathan receives a copy of Asuna's favorite book; it is clearly well-worn but more it is well-loved, and it seems to be a story about a child being lost in the fantasy worlds of the books contained in a library, much like the Pagemaster.

REKER: Reker gets a in-game gun care kit.

TOMOE: Tomoe gets a in-game gun care kit, and in ALO, she receives a large basket of Asuna prepared food with the best A-rank and even some S-rank based food materials.

FATE T. HARLAOWN: From one mother to another, Asuna gives Fate a babysitting voucher and a little video of Yui and Asuna, as well as a offer to have tea again at some point.

PSALM: Psalm gets a pair of very odd things; the first is a cheap MP3 player, but more importantly, the gift is lovingly loaded with over four hours of music, all of Asuna's favorites and those that she enjoys, along with some of the more interesting ones that she figures might be more of Psalms' style. 'For someone who brought music into my life; here is the music that I have come to enjoy. - Yuuki A.'

GATECRASHERS UNION: Every single person receives a extravagent in-game gift basket of a full on five course meal made out of nothing but A-rank materials. This basket explains a lot about why Asuna's been out of contact, as there are a -ton- of you.

KIRITO: Kirito receives a pair of gifts (in person, of course; the first part of the gift is the fact that Asuna cooked like hell in real life for him.) The second gift is a combination video/photo book - when it plays, it starts out with Asuna detailing her story in Sword Art Online, followed by inclusion of videos, pictures, and more stories of Kirito and Asuna. It is over six hours long to listen too, and it is updatable via simple use of flash drive. At the end of it, there is a simple paragraph that shows up on screen and read by her at the same time.

"Kirigaya Kazuto, you are more important than anything else in this world to me. You showed me how to be a warrior in a world where there was nothing else to be, and where I blossomed like a shooting star. When I threw myself in front of you, it was because I understood everything you were to me... and when you fought Sugu for me, I understood everything I was too you. I love you - my dear."

NOBLE SIX: Noble receives a Primary Assualt Weapon System (PAWS) used by the Royal Triancian Marine Corps, modified to be integrated into the arm of a set of SPARTAN power armor. The note attached reads as follows.

"Heard about your unit from Commodore Thompson. Don't care you you aren't one of my Marines, I expect anyone who dominates the earth from space can use some of our tech. Own the ground you walk on, and don't let any son of a bitch take it from you. - Major General Julia Styles, Royal Triancian Marine Corps.

Tony Stark: Iron Man PJ's made to look like the Iron Man suit, an expensive pair of hand-made Italian leather shoes, a pair of classy looking cufflinks, a dozen cinnamon bark cookies (from Pepper's mother Carolina), a trophy photo of Eliza projectile vomiting on Tony's shirt from Thanksgiving (from Marty, but marked 'From the Baby'), 'Redheads: The Mystery, the Enchantment, the Survival Guide' (from Stan), and a 'super deformed' plushie of Iron Man (from Georgie).

Toph: A warm pair of soft PJ's with foot /covers/, but little straps of elastic to let her feet still touch the floor, a fine silver chain necklace with a saphire charm in the shape of a heart (and a note, in Braile, explaining that it's not 'fluffy girly stuff', but because she loves her), new jersey cotton bedding (super soft, in earthy brown color, not that it matters), a dozen cinnamon bark cookies, adozen chocolate chip cookies, a dozen chocolate Russian Teacake cookies, a warm hat and woolen mittens (from 'Grandma Carrie'), a rubber ducky shower radio, pre-loaded with AC/DC, Aerosmith and Queen music along with "Rawkfist", "Rock You like a Hurricaine" "Jailhouse Rock" and "Jingle Bell Rock" for good measure (from Marty, but labeled 'From Cousin Eliza'), "The Invisible Man", "Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde", and a collection of gold bangle bracelets (from 'that old guy who lives with Carrie AKA Stan'). Stan's gift also has a chocolate bacon bar slipped in.

Serori - The colonel receives the only thing Taylita can think of that Serori won't use in an attack and might still like to receive. A picture of Taylita in what looks to be proper saiyan armor. Written on it is a note: 'Someday, the saiyans will be restored as true warriors.'

Kotone - The cyborg receives a sleek red hovercycle built from the body of a japanese racing motorcycle. It can move at speeds comparable to Taylita's own flying speed.

Gohan - The evil leader of the PTO receives...coal. In a red santa stocking. Yes, coal. Those little chocolate candies wrapped in black foil. Because someone told Taylita that's what those who are bad get for Christmas.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/170 (No Timeout) Posted Author Huntress' Gifts Dec 26 2014 Mantigora

Draken don't have a christmas (that is known of) but they do have a fondness for honoring successful chiefs and warriors so it felt like a fine time to acknowledge some of the people she's gotten to know in the relatively short time she's been active with the Confederacy.

Gaius Van Baelsar - A large and very intricately crafted hunting knife. The handle has a knuckle guard (also helps tell which way the front is) and true to Draken visual athstetics is decorated in spikes. It's meant to be a cerimonial display of strength and power, but as her people don't really believe in 'just for looks' is fully usable as a weapon. The handlegrip even has an old saying carved in it to acknowledge this -- 'The best defense against a backstabber is to stab first.'

Ewald and Adrain get a small example of what they've encouraged when Skuzzler sends them back some of those light orbs. That when shaken activate normally... and then roughly 10 seconds later (BARELY long enough to throw one) explode like a large flashbang grenade! The photonic blast isn't physically harming but it is bright and loud enough to be briefly disorientingly painful to the senses. In the box is two notes: one explaining the mod to the light balls, once you manage to decipher the fact that Chua have terrible penmanship; the other a brief apology from Mantigora explaining that this is the Chua 'sense of humor' concept of a prank, and they should probably be glad this is a 'like you' sort of prank.

Dracula Vlad Tepes - As the resident 'warlord' as head of the Confederacy Dracula receives a sturdy leather cloak that's been dyed as dark of black as possible to match his typical(?) attire, which the clasp at the neck and some of the detailing done in gold (she must of done enough research to know silver and some supernatural creatures don't get along). Much like Gaius' knife its meant to be a display of power and stature, but is totally servicable in all the ways a cloak should be worn.

Serori - The Colonel's appetite after a fight hasn't gone unnoticed, as she receives a gift voucher to one of Protostar's livestock distribution centers. This is the corp that makes those cubical pigs like the roasted one 'Gora had brought to the War Council, and it's good for enough Cubigs and Cuboars to feed a small army (or one hungry Saiyan post battle).

Taro - Receives what looks to be a bandolier, but it's designed to hold sample tubes, chemical vials and small tools in place of bullets and clips. On Nexus even the techno-nerds look like they could bust open your skull. For SCIENCE.

Mihk Lihzeh - An ornate staff, which by Draken standards means it's a large femur of some monster decorated with bones, horns, strings of teeth and a few small animal skulls. Looks like something a witchdoctor or medicine man (which describes the Draken bloodshamen pretty apt) would carry around. It's meant as a reminder that even if she isn't physically strong she is an important part of any team she may be in for support and guidance.

Soundwave and Co. - A 'Rockin' Sockin' Warbots' game, which is basically a large holographic version of a certain classic toy with a similar name. Because she wasn't really sure what to get for an group of already large lethal warmachines. There's also a datacron with examples of music from the various Dominion races. Most of the Cassian songs are like Ominous Latin Chanting done IN SPACE, the Chua tunes are techno dubstep cranked to hyperactive levels, the Mechari samples are electronic as well but more precise and mechanical in harmony, while the Draken music is best summed up as tribal warchants done in grindcore death metal style.

Bain - While having not met Bain personally, the fact that he had the balls to set up and enact what she understands to be a very difficult and questionable raid deserves respecting. Must of noticed his thing for masks too, because that's what he gets, a tribal warmask of freakish large fangs, horns, and a framing 'mane' of bones and leather strips styled as leaves.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/171 (No Timeout) Posted Author Huntress' Gifts 2 Dec 26 2014 Mantigora

(cont.) Beelzebumon - A loud obnoxious demon that fights like a Spellslinger, if a spellslinger had the nerve to actually get up in your face with a sawed off shotgun instead of zeerust style blasters, from what she's seen of him in action. Plus, badass motorcycle. Only thing Behemoth is missing is an equally loud and obnoxious sound system, which is why the Demon Lord gets a pair of large beatbox style speakers that hang on the back like bike saddlebags. Now his ride can be pimped out to be just as loud and beligerant as he is when rollin'... and those are his GOOD traits as far as she's concerned. Don't be surprised if she shows up looking to pick a fight with you sometime, demon gunner. >}:)

Xau'ra Tayuun - A simple knife, with his name etched in the blade and the tip dipped in dried blood. It's the Draken equivilent to 'a bullet with your name on it', but it's also an acknowledgement of the challenging fight he gave her as much as a promise to 'finish what she started' with that fight.

Seto Kaiba recieves the 'March of the Multitudes' Mordern Event Deck, plus three Modern Masters booster packs, with a note: 'It's a tournament capable deck, 60 cards in the main pack, plus 15 cards sideboard. Rhapsody receives 'Izzet Ingenuity' plus 5 Return to Ravnica booster packs, also with a note: 'I know it's not much compared to all the stuff you got me, but it's the least I could do.'

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/173 (No Timeout) Posted Author Shinki Gifts! Dec 26 2014 Vervi

Due to a shipping error, Vervi's gifts arrive late!

PEOPLES To Nathan Hall - A heart-shaped black and gray locket with some glowing lights on it, green, blue, and violet in a triangle formation. Upon close inspection it looks exactly like a CMS. The interior is a small LCD screen that cycles through pictures of Vervi and Nathan together from various points in their life together. The card: "I'm so happy to be your shinki, Master. Please continue to take such good care of me. Merry Christmas.- Vervi"

To Psyber - The founder of Heaven or Hell is given a replica of Vervi's F-Gunner blaster, remodeled into a pistol. It is fully functional, but requires specially made 20mm ammunition and is VERY loud. She must have commissioned this. Included are three fully loaded 10-round magazines and the contact information for the weaponcrafter she had make it--for getting more ammunition. The card: "You are a man of many talents and many weapons. I know you have a lot already, but I felt like all the kindness you've shown me deserves something unique like this. Please continue to help me take care of Master. He thinks very highly of you! Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Maverick (Abstractum.net) - Vervi's gift to Maverick are flame decals that attach to his engines in jet form and move to the shoulder thruster cowlings in robot form. Since a jet can't exactly put things on itself, or unwrap things, part of the gift is Vervi sticking them on.

SHINKI Vervi has (accurately) guessed that the majority of presents amongst her fellow shinki would be jellycans, and so she has gone a different route: Costume armor!

To Mel - Waitress Costume Armor. This kit's box doesn't have a picture on the front, and it seems Vervi didn't check before she sent it, because it's a bunnysuit waitress outfit. The card: "Merry Christmas! I hope that a cute outfit helps your business do even better! - Vervi"

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/174 (No Timeout) Posted Author Shinki Gifts 2! Dec 26 2014 Vervi

UNION SHINKI To Kaede - Maid Costume Armor. A long, frill-edged black dress with white accents and a white apron. It includes a clip that sports the usual maid's headpiece. The card: "Please be careful while cooking! I was told by an Altines that this costume is necessary to properly cook and clean for your Master. Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Lizbet - Shinkenger Red Costume Armor. It's a battle-grade costume armor and helmet designed to resemble Shinkenger Red, leader of the Hero Brigade Shinkenger, shinki police ranger squad from TV. The character, in addition to matching Lizbet's red color scheme, is notoriously hot-blooded. As it's combat-ready, there are openings for equipment attachments that help them look like part of the outfit. The card: "It's because of you that I work so hard to be the best that I can be. Please continue to be my hero! Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Metta - Evil Sorceress Costume Armor. A well-fitting black dress with a high collar and a slitted skirt that hugs the legs. It can be tough to walk in, but fortunately shinki can fly. The main accessory is a staff with a spider shape on the end, its abdomen made out of a red LED. The dress itself also has spiderweb accents in silver thread. The card: "For some reason I kept coming back to this one when I thought of you, so it must really suit you! Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Tora - Wandering Hero Costume Armor. Loose-fitting red hakama and a tattered red haori with black borders, like what a samurai would wear under his or her armor. One of the Haori's sleeves is missing at the shoulder, but this is part of the costume, not because it was damaged. It also comes with cloth wraps for the right arm, giving it the appearance of a ronin. The card: "You're so intense! I can't think of anything that suits you better than this outfit and the sorts of people who inspired it. Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/175 (No Timeout) Posted Author Shinki gifts 3! Dec 26 2014 Vervi

CONFED SHINKI To Fuki - Princess Costume Armor. A strapless royal blue dress with many tiny designs stitched into it in white, resembling flower petals. The accessory is a gold crown with red gems, too small to sit properly and so it attaches with hair clips. The card: "You looked very cute in this, so I thought it'd make a good present. Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Kari - Police Inspector Costume Armor. It is a costume police uniform in blues and blacks, complete with cap and reflective sunglasses. Nobody would ever believe it's a real cop, though, partly because it's fitted for a six inch tall robot. The Card: "Type Police Dog? Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Kotana - Shopkeeper Costume Armor. What're ya buyin'? A heavy black coat with dozens of pockets lining its red interior. It's designed to interface with the Slipway so that items can be pulled out of it through the pockets. The hood is purely decorative, as it can't fit over the headpieces of most shinki. The card: "I remember you being really big on collecting things, so maybe this will be handy. Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Allie - Cowgirl Costume Armor. Faux leather chaps and denim pants, a frilly cowboy shirt with lots of fringe, and a cowboy hat to tie it all together. The leather has a cow's white and black pattern on it. The card: "I found out you like guns, this seemed to fit! Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Serena - Southern Belle Costume Armor. A very pale, mint-colored dress with numerous ruffles and frills and puffy short sleeves. It's very classy and cute by design, and comes with a broad-brimmed sunhat. The card: "You're such a scary fighter and have a lot of talent. I think you deserve something that can remind people how cute you are, too. Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Saiga - Mad Scientist Costume Armor. It is a durable lab coat made to be worn over most conventional Shinki parts, with openings for equipment attachments to make them look like part of the outfit. It also comes with goggles and bulky black gloves that fit over the ends of the sleeves and reach just shy of the elbows. The card: "Now you and your Master can be a matched set! Merry Christmas! - Vervi"

To Mae - Kimono Costume Armor. The primary color is a dark blue with lighter blue accents, with a white design along the hem that resembles a snowy landscape at night. There's an opening at the small of the back for standard Shinki equipment packs, which includes Mae's nine-bladed "tail" gauntlet holster. The card: "Merry Christmas! Please enjoy this outfit. I think it suits both you and your Master well. - Vervi"

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/176 (No Timeout) Posted Author Late Gifts Dec 26 2014 Madara Uchiha

ALL UNION / UNAFFILIATED ENEMIES who Madara has FOUGHT AGAINST so far receive a single green leaf with a seal mark on it. Upon entering the possession of the recipient, the seal mark triggers, unsealing a small statue of Hashirama Senju, made out of coal. This statue then bursts into flames. The flames aren't intense enough or long-lasting enough to be a hazard. It's more startling than anything, and a really weird way of disposing of a small portion of the coal that Madara was given.

ALL CONFEDERATE / UNAFFILIATED ALLIES whom Madara has FOUGHT ALONGSIDE receive a personalized wooden statue of themselves.

MIAKA receives a book on Ninjutsu written by Madara, and includes essentially everything he knows about Medical Ninjutsu, including descriptions of (but not instructions on) Hashirama Senju's self-regeneration technique, as well as the jutsu formula for various Sealing Techniques - including a Transcription Seal that allows one to place the forbidden Izanagi doujutsu onto a Shadow Clone for a delayed faked-death. The information all seems to assume an advanced knowledge of Medical Ninjutsu and Fuuinjutsu (Sealing Techniques), but even without such, it is useful for advancing knowledge in both fields.

GAREN / CIPHER NINE receives a primer on Chakra and ninja arts, about equivalent to what is taught in a ninja academy. It's book study, rather than practical experience, but should at least get him started.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/177 (No Timeout) Posted Author Hot christmas gifts! Dec 27 2014 Frederica

To most of her ALO friends, Frika offers a special meal. If it's possible that she's learned their ALO avatar's favourite food, then her gift is a RL gift certificate, warpgate location and suggested menu item for something that duplicates the taste. All such restaurants are high-quality and should allow the recipients to have a good meal even if they don't follow her suggestion. For those friends of hers who would never have gotten in an off-camera conversation on food, she'll do the same thing but will substitute their 'racial' food for their faerie type. Salamanders get a well-grilled steak dish, Cait Sith get seafood, etc.

Recipients of this include Arthur Lowell, Staren, Yuna Kagurazaka, Auron, Karian, Tomoe and Fayt Ravus. Kirito and Asuna are included as well, though their selected restaurant is one that serves BOTH of their 'favourites'.

To her non-ALO friends, Frederica takes the opposite approach. They get an ALO meal that she expects them to like. In this case however, it's actually a meal taken out of the VR game via Frika's 'wander' mode, all of high-quality and rarity, though not of S rank or above. These meals have some odd features. They're zero-calorie zero-fullness foods, but are generally quite tasty. The ultimate snack foods. While they would give buffs within the VR game, that's an effect of ALO rather than something inherent to the food so they'd likely not give any actual buff to people outside the game.

People getting these virtual-reality foods include Psyber, Mizuki, Defiant, Nozomi Houken, Ainsley, Faruja, Zephyr Windstar, Natasha, Riva Banari, Harry Dresden, Sakura Kinomoto, Alicia T. Harlaown, Rarity, Tatsuto and Finna. The 'Stark' family trio gets an adventure party buff 'table' which is essentially a small holographic buffet table with various food choices.

She also gives VR 'drinks', much the same as above, to several Shinki. Kaede, Metta, Vervi and Lisbet. As they don't actually fill their 'drinker' up at all and are essentially virtual tastes, they probably would be drinkable just fine by shinki despite not being made for them.

Now, a last few more unique gifts...

Toph Beifong gets a badgermole snuggie. This was hand-made by Freddie, and makes Toph look as much like a baby badgermole as is possible with Frederica's skill. That is to say, it's freaking adorable. Warm and comfy too. The badgermole feet are detachable socks connected to the legs by elastic straps, so they can fit on Toph's feet for warmth or they can be removed to let her go barefoot while walking around. The mittens are likewise semi-detached.

The above could also be considered a second gift for Tony and Pepper, given they're the only ones likely to see the adorableness.

Ziggy gets a smallish box of handmade cookies. Perhaps surprisingly given Frederica made them herself, they're not burnt.

Last, Lute gets a reply to his 'present'. Surprisingly it's not wholly negative! Her reply, which includes a copy of his date coupon to make it explicit, is "Maybe. I'll consider it only if you wear this during the date." Included is an outfit to Lute's size that would be considered masculine, fashionable, and maybe even sharp. It is also made out of an accelerant. That is to say, while it looks like a more usual sort of cloth it burns somewhat more fiercely and tenaciously than clothing ought. (OOC note, you don't /have/ to date Frederica if you want to have some fun being a hot date! I'll be amused just hearing about it.)

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/178 (No Timeout) Posted Author Happy (Belated) Hearth's Warming! Dec 27 2014 Rainbow Dash

Better late than never! Holiday Dash has blasted past and left gifts for some friends!

Rarity: Because Dash has gotten tired of hearing about Rarity messing up her pony-pedi's from martial arts lessons, she's gotten the unicorn a set of karate boots. They're lightweight cloth, but firm enough to protect the hooves while probably giving a bit extra kick to whatever they're used on.

Twilight: Not a book! But in this case, it's related to a book. Twilight receives a replica version of the Sapphire Stone from the first Daring Do book. It's a very close representation to what the stone should look like, so Dash probably double checked it herself.

Yunomi and Rhapsody: They both receive a ticket for the Wonderbolts season opener some time in the spring, conveniently in adjacent seats. Additionally, they receive a small, metal red lightning bolt about the size and shape of the red bolt on the Element of Loyalty.

Toph: For Toph it's a number of... balls? Yes, balls. Toph gets a half dozen balls of different shapes and sizes, from baseballs to footballs. But one major difference in these from normal balls is that they whistle when thrown, making it easier for Toph to hear where they're coming from.

Staren: He receives a cloud. It seems to be an average Equestrian cloud about the size of a small dog that won't evaporate or get blown away. It's fluffy and white, will follow him around on occasion and sometimes drizzle, but it's otherwise unspectacular. The note attached says that it needs regular watering. Good for observing Equestrian weather, but little else.

Mortimer: Dash has signed Mort up for a few months of the Hot Sauce of the Month club. Because in the multiverse, there's a club for everything. Every month he'll get a different sort of super-hot hot sauce.

Raditz: The same thing that he got last year; A pake from Dash and Pinkie Pie. It's large, delicious, and made of equal parts apple pie and vanilla cake. No sane person would probably eat this whole thing, but we all know Saiyans aren't sane when it comes to food.

Jinxel: A coupon good for one free weather of her choice for three hours. Not applicable in Everfree Forest, because Dash isn't that dumb.

Yuna Kagurazaka: She receives an Equestrian Storm Glass. This is a glass tube filled with liquid that contains crystal filaments. These filaments react to the changes in air pressure, making the tube cloudy or clear. It works best around pegasus magic, but will work fine away from Equestria.

Raven DeVanos: A pair of heavy duty racing gloves with excellent grip for holding on to those chocobo reins. Malkuth receives a picture of Dash in action, looking like she's in the middle of some awesome flight maneuver. It's even autographed!

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/179 (No Timeout) Posted Author Late Assassin Gifts Dec 28 2014 Nasrin

For Faruja: A hand-made leather chocobo saddle, made in layers, with the sides depicting battle rats, riding chocobo into battle, very ferocious looking with swords. "Thank you for continuing to see the good in me, even when I cannot."

Jericho Hawke: A gun holster. It depicts a stylized version of his namesake, wings trailing downwards and talons outstretched.

Toph: A rock! No, wait, it's a geode music box. The music is made by tiny hammers striking against the crystals inside, once the rock is wound by opening.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/180 (No Timeout) Posted Author Pirate Presents Dec 29 2014 Flint Hawke

Flint Hawke doesn't celebrate Terran Christmas. He celebrates Space Christmas. It celebrates the birth of Space Jesus in a Space Manger and is also an amalgamation of many Space Pagan Space Holidays. It falls precisely four days after Terran Christmas and is totally cooler, so this post isn't late at all. No, you shut up.

Yagami Hayate - Hayate and her Wolkenritter all get new crew uniforms. They're vaguely generally pirate themed, but easily customizable with personal flair. For an idea, you can look at the picture in his desc. In addition, Hayate gets a new set of cooking utensils, Signum gets a nice dress, Shamal gets some medical equipment that fell of a Space Transport, Vita gets a holo-cube with a Fighting Game on it and Zafira gets mysterious and alien bones to chew on because Flint mostly interacts with him as a dog. Chikade gets a uniform of her own, obviously, and Flint gets her some pretty nice star charts and an offer to come learn under the ship's navigator.

Takamachi Nanoha - The tiniest Nanoha gets a 48 pack of those japanese strawberry-flavored Kit Kat bars. She also gets a charm bracelet that has room for more charms, but starts with a tiny pirate ship on it. She also gets a laser pointer which she can use with Vesta.

Testarossa Fate - Fate gets a 48 pack of Twix Candy Bars. She gets a charm bracelet that matches the one Nanoha got. Arf, on the other hand, gets a very nice set of giftcards that can be taken to Ramen restaurants throughout the Multiverse. Precia gets a tasteful dress and shawl.

Serori - Serori gets, sent to her, vacuum sealed packets of jerky from about a dozen different alien species. Most of it is pretty delicious, if odd in texture occasionally.

Sarracenia - Sarracenia, specifically, receives a 48-count pack of Bit-O-Honey bars. Also a hastily-drawn but fairly nice cartoony sketch of her and Lute in a crashing spaceship.

Most Other people who interacted with Flint long enough to get contact information will receive a 48-count box of Rollos and a card with his ship photo-shopped to be covered in Christmas lights.

All of these come with a card that says Merry Space Christmas and are delivered on time, which is totally not 4 days late, and totally not him slapping 'Space' in front of various things from Terran Lore to cover up his procrastination while off-loading stolen candy that didn't sell well on eBay, except for Fate and Nanoha who got good candy.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/181 (No Timeout) Posted Author Almost Forgot Dec 29 2014 Flint Hawke

Since I forgot in my last post:

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/182 (No Timeout) Posted Author Shit, Let's Be Santa (1) Dec 30 2014 Arthur Lowell

To PSYBER

Arthur crafted the LIGHTNING ROD+CYBERNETIC ARM+DIAMOND SWORD+GLOVE to make the ELECTRO-LIGHT GAUNTLET

COST: 400 INK, 200 BUILD

ITEM: It's a large gauntlet. When worn over the arm, it injects microscopic conductors into the wearer's body, generating a slowly-growing electrical field at the cost of draining the user's regenerative energy. For this particular user, it should permit him to temporarily turn all of his regeneration ability into a very large damage output boost for Erinyes. Burns out after a few intense uses.

NOTE: "HEY GUY, you've got a WAY of DOING SHIT that's KINDA LIKE MINE. So I think THIS probably FITS YOU. You're the KIND OF DUDE who'll KNOW WHEN TO USE THIS. -PB"

To KIRITO

Arthur crafted the LASER ARRAY+DIAMOND SWORD+WARDROBIFIER to make the REFRACTED BLADE

COST: 500 STEEL

ITEM: It's a sword rack! When swords are stored there and the system is synchronized, the emitter hilt that comes with it can project swords from the rack in the form of fancy laser swords! Their effectiveness is not always precisely up to par with a well-forged sword, but it does make it easier to carry the blade without really weird, awful looks from the public! It is astoundingly convenient, though it requires actual, real swords to 'power' it and give a valid blade for the emitter to project. Damage to the laser-emitted swords translates to damage to the real swords. Laser swords are slightly too light.

NOTE: "You look like a NERD carrying around BIG REAL SWORDS like in SAO, now you can look like a NERD carrying around a LIGHTSABER like in GGO! -PB"

To PSALM

Arthur crafted the BLOOD+AMPLIFIER+CRYSTAL BALL(MAGIC) to make the MASSACRE'S VOLUME

COST: 350 INK, 50 RUST

ITEM: It's a portable crystal-ball-base amplifier, the kind you'd put on a belt. It absorbs blood that winds up on its surface to amplify the magic of music. While it loses charge over long periods of disuse, and works best with multiple instances of bleeding, the end result is that Psalm can get a magical "combo" going, where the death of her foes can fuel gradually multiplied magical power.

NOTE: "You may be SUPPORT but DANG LADY you have got a BLOODTHIRSTY side sometimes! So HERE, have some MUSIC STUFF that's always as THIRSTY FOR BLOOD as YOU ARE! -PB"

To STAREN

Arthur crafted the ELIXER OF IMMORTALITY+COMPUTER GLASSES to make the MORTICIAN'S SIGHT

COST: 200 BONE

ITEM: Glasses that allow Staren to quickly and painlessly assess individuals or corpses for their compatibility with the death-defying technologies and abilities that he loads into its data storage. An incredibly effective means of saving distress time.

NOTE: "So far this gives me like a ONE PERCENT POSITIVE RESULT on most people, so THAT'S kinda DEPRESSING. Hopefully this will SAVE TIME in BEING FRUSTRATED ABOUT CORPSES! -PB"

To TOMOE

Arthur crafted the LIGHT STAFF+SHIELD+WARDROBIFIER to make the REFRACTED BARRIER

COST: 200 ROCK

ITEM: An artifact much the same as Kirito's: A shield rack with an attached portable arm brace that can project hard-light shields that correspond to real-life shields stored in the racks, prevending damage to the user while translating damage to the stored shields. Useful for carrying around shields without getting people looking at you weird, but requires real shields to make it work. Hard-light shields are slightly too light.

NOTE: "HEY, check THIS SHIT OUT, you can get STRAIGHT-UP FUCKING RIOT-COP like this! Here, I know you're not HARDCORE REAL-LIFE BADASS on the level of Kirito, but maybe THIS helps. -PB"

To ASUNA

Arthur crafted the SMARTPHONE+ROCKET PARTS to make the MINIDRONE

COST: 20 RUST

ITEM: It's a tiny little spherical drone that flies around! Equipped with a mid-range camera and proper control and interface firmware, it would be a perfect little flying real-life body for Yui. Unfortunately, the software side of the hardware's mechanisms is completely absent, likely requiring substantial mechatronics work to create an interface between this and a real AI.

NOTE: "I was gonna get you LASER SWORDS like I got for KIRITO. MAIS NON, MOTHERFUCKER. Get your NERDY BOYFRIEND working on this shit sometime, when he's got ACTUAL FREE TIME. -PB"

To HOMURA

Arthur crafted the (LOOTER'S DELIGHT+ASSAULT RIFLE)+HOMURA'S GLASSES to make the GUN-NUT'S COMPANION

COST: 20 INK

ITEM: It instantly assesses various firearm stats based on demonstrated performance, providing an extreme enhancement to Homura's looting tendencies as well as being an effective battlefield scanner for enemies who have a similar focus on firearms.

NOTE: "Reading BOOKS ABOUT GUNS is for NERDS, reading RANDOM FACTS about GUNS from FANCY ELECTRONICS ISN'T! -PB"

To FREDERICA

Arthur crafted the ROCKET PARTS+GLOVES+FUEL to make the PYRO-THRUST GAUNTLETS

COST: 20 STEEL

ITEM: They're gloves with little rocket-thruster things in them! But it's all unignited fuel. Using extremely precise, controlled pyrokinesis, its user could ignite the fuel in a well-controlled way, translating pyrokinetics into telekinetic rocket punches.

NOTE: "NOT GREAT for FLYING unless you also DON'T WANT TO HAVE HAIR. -PB"

To DR. HERBERT WEST

Arthur crafted the DEMONPAIN PICTURE+ECLECTIC BASS to make the TITAN RIFF

COST: 4000 BUILD

ITEM: It is a mecha-sized guitar. Optional Super Modes for it allow it to bare multiple necks and keyboards. Honestly that's all there really is to say about that. Maybe it could be modified to serve more of a function? Solid framework there. May be delivered right to the mailbox.

NOTE: ">:D -PB"

To ELSA

Arthur HAND CRAFTED a variety of SMALL FUSION ENERGY CONSTRUCTS

COST: Two nights of mild agonizing over preparation and taste-testing.

ITEM: Fairly sure that a robot does not actually eat in a more productive way, Arthur has provided a small quantity of EASILY-PROCESSED FUSION ENERGY CONSTRUCTS of various CHRISTMAS-THEMED ENERGY FLAVORS that Elsa can consume. She's free to consider the brief, intense power boost the power of love if she wants, but it's mostly a lot of hydrogen crashing around.

NOTE: A sheepish, rambling thing about regretting being unable to think up a proper gift. Gets flustered halfway through, somehow manages to textually blush when making excuses for hand-making food. God what a dork, he wouldn't be more transparent if he were made of glass

To AMALTHEA

Arthur crafted the MULTI-STAGE ROCKET+BACKPACK to make the ALWAYS BOOSTER

COST: 200 STEEL

ITEM: A harness that Amalthea can strap around herself to add a multi-stage rocket structure to her own integrated rocket-knight equipment. Vastly increases the output of Amalthea's thrust over sustained periods of time. Great for rampaging rushes, intense contests of force, breaking through barriers, and other sustained boosts.

NOTE: "WARNING: NOT ACTUALLY RATED TO GO TO THE MOON, unless you're ULTRA BADASS. -PB"

To ARIEL

Arthur crafted NERITES PHOTOGRAPHS+LEGOS to make NERITES LEGO SET

COST: 20 BUILD

ITEM: Holy shit, it's a full lego set of all the major people and structures in Nerites. This is one hundred percent guaranteed to make for an adorable as hell couple of nights for the family to put mini-Nerites together in the volcano fortress.

NOTE: "I want to make it REALLY CLEAR that the ONLY REASON you're one of like TWO PEOPLE I didn't give something INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS to isn't 'cause you're FRAGILE, it's just 'cause I think you're the only person who does things NOT-DANGEROUSLY in my life. -PB"

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/183 (No Timeout) Posted Author Shit, Let's Be Santa (2) Dec 30 2014 Arthur Lowell

To RIVA BANARI

Arthur crafted the DIAMOND SWORD+INK to make the CUTDYE

COST: 60 INK

ITEM: Ink which, when applied to a surface, applies a deep laceration to it after a short time. More elaborate designs applied to a surface will cause it to sustain more intense and piercing lacerations. Can potentially turn a pen or even a brush into a high-power armor-piercing weapon.

NOTE: "Your REAL Christmas gift is EVERYONE AROUND YOU making AWFUL JOKES about the PEN being MIGHTIER. -PB"

To ZWEI

Arthur crafted the TROPHY SHELF+CAPTCHAROID to make the ACHIEVEMENT HUNTER

COST: 50 BONE

ITEM: An easily-integrated camera module for Weiss that makes undeniably authenticated achievement data whenever Weiss can witness the defeat of an enemy at Zwei's hands. Spits out achievements for numbers of wins, speed of wins, or wins against especially high-level bosses. These achievements make for great holographic display, like trophies!

NOTE: "You're HARD AS HELL to SHOP FOR you weirdo fucking POST-SCARCITY DUDES. Here's the ONLY thing of REAL VALUE I can think of. -PB"

To FARUJA

Arthur crafted the BROOMHILDE+ASSAULT RIFLE to make the HOLY RIOT-COP

COST: 30 INK, 30 STEEL

ITEM: It's much like Faruja's flame-gun! However, it sprays a HIGH-PRESSURE BLAST of somewhat diluted holy water, similar in effect to spraying people with a fire hose. It's a mostly non-lethal method of subduing large crowds, and religiously friendly to boot! Brutal against demonic targets. Seems to have infinite ammo, though more diluted than could ever be any real use.

NOTE: "ONE RIOT ONE RANGER. -PB"

To AYAKO HASEKAWA

Arthur crafted the ROCKET PARTS+WATER BOTTLE to make the BOTTLE ROCKET

COST: 20 ROCK

ITEM: It's a bottle! No, it's actually a rocket! It is both. Ayako can pour herself into the bottle and utilize its precise shape to generate high volumes of water thrust, turning it into a personal rocket craft. It's very fast, potentially more so than Ayako normally is. It is also insanely fun just by nature.

NOTE: "You can FLY, but can you FLY with ROCKETS? THE ANSWER IS: YES, NOW. -PB"

To TAYLOR HEBERT

Arthur crafted the BEES+COMPUTER to make the BEENARY COMPUTER

COST: 20 STEEL

ITEM: A computer, but also a beehive. It's run by bees. They're fairly friendly. Honey processing is surprisingly heat-efficient. Probably gives Skitter the ability to mentally control a computer?

NOTE: "The OPERATING SYSTEM is a little BUGGY. -PB"

To MS. FORTUNE

Arthur crafted the HEART-EXTRACTOR BOW+TOASTER to make the BLOOD HEAT

COST: 15 INK, 15 BONE

ITEM: This is some kind of heating apparatus that you place around a human-like heart, apparently. It applies varying, custom levels of heat to the blood that passes through! The normal physiological effects may be superseded by magical ones related to BURNING SPIRIT and BOILING HOT-BLOODEDNESS though, if you BELIEVE enough.

NOTE: "YELLING will make it EVEN EASIER TO USE. -PB"

To SUMMER POWERS, FIORA O'BRIEN, and VRUASA TELASH

They functionally possess everything they could now ever want, and Arthur no longer has the means or the ability to grant them anything more productively. They have reached Endgame Christmas. Arthur provides their obligatory gifts of things like trinkets and grist and such. Aside from that he can provide little else. He does provide alchemized duplicates of a scrapbook, though. Apparently he heavily abused his own very limited time travel to chrono-stalk the group a bit. Pictures have been taken at opportune moments that aren't too especially distressing. Earlier stages of Vruasa's ship, Vruasa making unsteady alliances with Arthur, Fiora with the crocodiles, a pictured timeline of Fiora getting closer to Vruasa, various photos of the Minecrafters and Summer, and other things like that. It's a lot of pictures and it's so sappy it'll turn to amber if you bury it.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/184 (No Timeout) Posted Author Christmas Cobwebs Dec 31 2014 Black Arachnia

(ICly, these would've been much closer to 'on time' than I'm OOCly getting around to posting ...)

Autobots (especially 'Old Optimus') and other electronics/computer specialists who are working with the Union would get a customized suite of new anti-malware software, with installation instructions (and the option of having Black Arachnia handle the installation).

Optimus Prime in particular - both "Old Optimus" and the newer arrival - would also receiver updated maps of known Decepticon positions on Cybertron-1. (Admittedly, this may not be as helpful to the second Optimus Prime to Unify ...)

Each survivor of the Annu mission receives a specially-crafted dreamcatcher to hang in their bedroom or equivalent. The "web" inside the ring is woven from stable Energon filaments, similar to what Black Arachnia uses for her weblines, so the dreamcatcher can double as a nightlight of sorts.

Finally, Ferham and Miss Clokwerk get a matched pair of computerized chess sets, with a "play by e-mail" type of function so they can play when they aren't able to hang out together. Or against other chess-players in the Multiverse, for that matter. (Black Arachnia may have included an address that works for her, as well.)

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/185 (No Timeout) Posted Author Merry Fistmas ... er, Christmas Dec 31 2014 Sagat

Every single member of the Honnouji Academy Fight Club would receive a package from Sagat, containing a full set of training pads in the recipient's size, and one jar of Muay Thai training liniment with instructions for use.

The Elite Four of Honnouji Academy (and by extension, Satsuki) would get a hand-written Christmas card, principally addressed to Ira Gamagoori. In the text of the card, Sagat expresses his deep appreciation for the chance to study at Honnouji (for however long it may be in the end), and his equally sincere anticipation of the chance to fight them directly, should that confrontation ever come to pass.

Multiverse Crisis MUSH BBS - Christmas 2014 Message: 33/186 (No Timeout) Posted Author Secret Santa Gifts (1/2) Jan 01 2015 Eryl Fairfax

(OOC: The gift descriptions are copy-pasted from what people sent me, which is why there might be some discrepancies in detail from gift to gift.)

The gifts for those who could not make the Secret Santa are finally sent out!

KONGOU receives a gift from Toph Beifong! A set of metal bangles with tiny and very accurate ship ornaments on them.

REBECCA CHAMBERS receives a gift from Sir Gawain! He got her a short sword for combat purposes and a biiiig box of medical supplies! Also, a bag of cookies.

RAINBOW DASH receives a gift from Lou! A currently popular decor item in the Gurhal System, this doll made in the image of the native creature known as a koltova is, somehow, simultaneously ugly and cute. The attention to detail in the stitching is superb, even as it is stylized for the sake of shrinking the life form down to the size, and roughly the shape, of an inflated beach ball. Its facial expression is fixed in a languid, toothy serenity, as its internal actuators enable it to roll around or seem to wallow on any table or shelf it is placed on, stopping every so often to take a 'nap'. Its soft body makes it ideal for lounging around with, as well, should that be what one desires of it. Best of all, imbued with the power of Photons, it never needs new batteries, and will provide years of enjoyment - or so the included, translated, pamphlet suggests.

In addition to that, which includes '50 Things You Didn't Know About Koltova' - as if that has any meaning to most people in the multiverse - is a personal note from Lou, though she does not indicate herself as such. The caligraphy is machine precise. 'I am Sorry that I could not meet face to face at this time. As gift giving is not an activity I conduct in frequently, I conferred with others. After consulting with people I trust to not mislead me, I have selected this product made in the image of a native life form in the hopes you might enjoy it. Someone also suggested a symbolism in giving some small part of my world to another - symbolism processes were not active at the time of selection, but if this concept pleases you, I will not differ. I look forward to our continued cooperation.'

...come to think of it, it'll probably be fairly clear who wrote it, next simultaneous radio chatter. Also of note, the stuffed koltova came in a somewhat unusual box. It isn't difficult to figure out how to open, but it was shaped like a glowing, green octohedron, perhaps how the people wherever it came from package things.

LLOYD IRVING receives a gift from Sakura Kinomoto! Her gift is a blacksmithing set - a small finishing anvil, tools, that sort of thing.

SIR GAWAIN revieves a gift from Fate T. Harlaown! It is an LCD Tiger Electronics handheld game called Trials of the Gallant Knight. This one features a gallant knight! The game involves running along a path and using the knight's sword and shield to survive waves of diving gargoyles, then defeat a fire-breathing dragon. Can Sir Gawain defeat the dragon and save the princess?

FATE T. HARLAOWN receives a gift from Natasha! A basket full of various barbequed meat.

NATASHA receives a gift from Kongou! It is a set of assorted teabags all shaped like goldfish. They're hand-made, and the teas are hand-blended. On the end of the strings tied to the fishes' mouths is a little label showing what kind of tea it is. There's a variety of blends, including herbal teas, though the majority of them are various english and black teas. Included is a card with a chibi sketch of Kongou's smiling face and 'Merry Christmas!' in flowing letters.

LOU receives a gift from Fayt Ravus! Fayt got Lou a book, it's full of various riddles, logic puzzles, etc. Fayt's likely enchanted it, because some of the puzzles within have the ability to clear and then randomize themselves to make new puzzles.

SAKURA KINOMOTO receives a gift from Kamon Lionward! Sakura receives a hand-made case made of leather and steel sized for her Cards, apparently big enough to hold the whole set. The case has a top-opening cover flap and a snap-fit buckle, and bears two silver disks only accessible when it's open. The disks are apparently minor magitech devices; a set of instructions says that putting a small amount of magic power into them activates their functions. The rough-textured one, inscribed with a column of parallel lines, cycles through the contents and raises them just above the top for easy retrieval, one at a time. The smooth-textured, spiral-inscribed one on the other hand activates a minor gravity spell that draws objects of roughly the same size and shape as her cards back into the case from within a few meters... but not necessarily in any sensible order.

Though not involved in the Secret Santa, LANDON AL CID receives a gift from the party crasher NOIELA! Prised apart, it contains a letter opener crafted as a sword inlaid with gold and red coral, teardrop socket in the middle. Replete with silver chain.
