Yuuki Kuran     In Heaven or Hell Tower, Boston 666, there was a quiet conference that was called by a one Totally Normal Girl Yuuki Kuran. Invites were sent to those that were at Dresden's apartment the day of the attack - Riva, Wuyin, Inga, and of course, Harry Dresden.

The sprawling Boston tower is pretty much the perfect location for this specific meeting, seeing as it has 'unsecure' conference rooms in a secure environment. Which is to say, Psyber is hosting today, and was told that Yuuki would very much appreciate one of his conference rooms if he could spare it for a private meeting where things that she didn't want casually shared would be revealed to make sure that 'something bad' didn't happen.

The room has a large, oval table, a cooler in the corner with mild and hard liquor, chilled water, and glasses for all, as well as a tray of generic office scones and doughnuts. Yuuki sits in one chair, off near the end, but not at the 'end' chair - she's leaving that for Psyber if he wants it. With her is a super prettyboy, in a white school-ish uniform, Hanabusa Aido.

He looks pretty on-edge while also being incredibly bored. It's a skill.

On top of Psyber and the Dresden Crew, there was a 'quietly open' invitation for Psyber to also bring in any magical or trustworthy experts he had on-hand and could trust implicitly.

How Aoko got roped in is, thus, a mystery.
Aoko Aozaki     Aoko may or may not have been roped into this.
She's not here right now, though.

Mostly, there is a red-eyed, otherwise pure white cat sleeping on the conference table. There's a white ribbon half the size of the cat on the back of its neck, secured nice and safe, with two white pom-poms acting as a collar tag.
Guest Psyber     If by 'Bring in magical experts' you mean 'post a sign', then yes. He recruited magical experts of the highest caliber. It was done by a sign on the fridge two floors up. The sign read:

'Parnormal Consultations needed for afternoon meeting. Krispy Kreme donuts provided.'

Owing to that sign, Psyber is here and there's two boxes each of about a dozen glazed donuts in them sitting in the center of the table. The half-angel is, because Yuuki left the seat open for him, sitting at the head of the table and looking between the totally normal girl and her guest.

"So I only heard about the attack through channels and discussion. Someone's after Yuuki's blood and using vampires to get it?"
Harry Dresden     Harry Dresden is here, looking slightly stung out, like he hasn't slept well. Almost like he's been in the house with his rocksalt loaded shotgun and his staff next to him and barely asleep waiting for more bumps-in-the-night to show up while his wards were still being placed.

But he is here, and he does have donuts and he does have coffee and he's waiting for more people to show up. "That's about the size of it, Psyber. Though the guy who hired me was far too pretty to be human. Felt like a shark was circling my office."
Zero Kiryu     The presence of Zero Kiryu can best be described as akin to that of a storm cloud hovering ominously overhead. He doesn't present himself as a part of the meeting, so much as an extension of Yuuki's presence here, and therefore lingers a short distance from her chair. He has not taken a seat, and his usual unpleasant demeanor couldn't be more passively evident than it is right now. He doesn't like the situation, and he doesn't like the fact that other people are involved in the situation. As a matter of fact, there's basically nothing about any of this that he likes.

He doesn't like that Yuuki handed out a container of her blood.

He doesn't like the implication of vampires venturing out to take it from the person it was issued to.

He doesn't like the fact that the details have been vague, and his request for more information went ignored.

Not to mention, for some reason Yuuki saw fit to bring Hanabusa. Why? The little git is useless if something happens, the fact that he's so proficient at vampire-centric medicine is hardly relevant to the the topic at hand. At least, as far as the Hunter is aware.

"Most likely, it's a vampire that wants Yuuki's blood, and it's using other vampires to get it." He responds to Psyber, before lapsing back into clearly agitated silence and glowering down the table at Harry Dresden.
Kyra Hyral     Someone saw the sign.

Though still getting in the groove of the whole 'paranormal investigator' thing, Kyra wasn't going to turn up an invitation for free donuts. So it might be to Psyber's dismay that one of his more rookie members of Heaven or Hell has showed up to the meeting. When Kyra arrived, she slunk in, but sat at the table nonetheless, tugging the box of donuts from the center of the table over to her.

The discussion starts up and Kyra offers a quiet 'oh', looking from Yuuki to Harry. "So the whole attack thing at Harry's house over the blood-that's what this is about." It's not a question, more of a statement to herself to get herself up to speed.
Inga Freyjasdottir Of course, Inga is here as well. She enters with Dresden, her staff in hand, thumping gently against the floor as she moves into the room. She bows to Psyber, who seems to be presiding over this meeting as it is in his territory, then takes a seat. She's dressed in her best 'don't mess with me' red dress, her hair intricately plaited, a host of talismans and amulets hanging from her belt.

She doesn't look pleased, her dark hazel eyes intense and focused. Inga also dislikes the fact Yuuki gave Dresden a vial or blood. Who does that?!

Of course, Inga throws her blood all over....but that is different!

Inga nods to the others present before she speaks. "I will be blunt. I would very much like to know /why/ you gave a vial of your blood to my ...partner," she says, focusing in on Yuuki.
Riva Banari Riva is present for happy times!

No wait, this isn't happy at all. Riva chills out at the Tower, lounging in one of the chairs and drinking some booze. Hey, if Yuuki's providing, she'll drink it. Another hand has a donut, which she devours with alacrity.

The presence of the obvioustly unusual cat makes Riva carefully inch around the table. No, not away from it like a sane person, but towards it. "It's blood, not a ring, Inga, relax. It'll be cool." She replies.

And then scoots another foot towards the cat with a gleam in her eyes.
Wuyin Tsai Wuyin is here because he was a WITNESS and has been stalk--er, /surveilling/ Dresden and Inga. He also has the ability to murderize the supernatural and not flinch in its presence. The fact that he's a free agent in the broad sense and almost definitely a part of some far-reaching ancient conspiracy is icing on the cake.

The icing might be arsenic.

"Donating blood for medical purposes is fairly commonplace in the modern world," Wuyin asides to Inga. He's already raided the fridge for a drink, and made himself at home. The contents of the fridge have also been mysteriously rearranged.

Wu reaches down next to him, out of sight but not really into anything, and produces a manilla folder. He taps it on the table in front of him. "I've been doing some research," he remarks, "if you would like to compare notes."
Yuuki Kuran     Yuuki sighs, taking a Krispy Kreme and chomping halfheartedly, sucking down greasy doughnut with a sort of tired, soulless motion that is nearly heretical for fresh Krispy Kreme.

    This is Heavy Shit.

Yuuki waits for a bit, for everyone to arrive, before addressing concerns.

"Well..." She begins, looking at Aido, who looks back at her confusedly. Why was she looking at him?! Aido looks at Zero helplessly, but then recoils at the doomcloud, and just sort of taps his index fingers together. "Why am I here..." She whispers.

    But he's here.

Yuuki draws out her hand, and a knife. She pulls a handkerchief out and places it under her palm. "Okay, everyone. I just want to make it really, really, really clear that you shouldn't talk about this, but... I'm a vampire. And not just a normal vampire. My family - the Kurans - is the line of the King, of the most powerful 'purebloods' and the rulers of Vampire society in times past, before the Vampire Council was established by my parents."

She squints her eyes closed and then jams the knife into her palm, the handkerchief catching any of the blood as she runs her hand clean through, before pulling the knife out with a little gasp.

In the blink of an eye, the wound closes, the skin utterly unblemished. "If you, uh, needed proof. You know, I should have /asked/ if you needed proof before... a-anyway!"

She looks to Harry. "You... Well, you helped me out, and the reason I gave you the blood..." She glances at Inga. "Was because to humans, it's a powerful medicine. It's said that it can cure anything, and even bring a human back from the brink of death. Too much is poisonous, but..." She wipes off her hand, and the knife, before tossing the handkerchief in an ashtray and throwing a lit match on top of it.

"That's... that's it. That's why I was handing out my blood. Because it can help people. But... if a vampire, especially another Pureblood, drinks my blood, they'd gain an incredible boost in power. That's probably why Hargrave wanted it."
Yuuki Kuran     Yuuki gives a little frown to Kyra. Also... I'm sorry I lied to you. But it wasn't that I died, when you saw me get really blown up. I can't die unless a certain condition is met. Otherwise, I'll just regenerate, like you saw. I did freak out a little bit, though, so I'm... really sorry about that. I just didn't want people to know I was... that."
Harry Dresden     Harry sighs a bit and leans back in his chair, sipping on his coffee. "Well. For some of us, it's actually sort of obvious that you are... what you are. Believe me when I say I have more than enough experience with Vampires on my own world to know when I meet them elsewhere. At least a pretty good inkling."

Health potion. Hargrave wasn't kidding then. "Damn. Had I known that in the first place I might have used that in potions." He grumps quietly and rubs at his face. "Well. Good news. The cash Hargrave left for me paid for my buddy Michael to come put a new fresh door on the apartment and now Inga and I can get to re-warding the damn place. Less worries there."
He looks over at Wuyin. "And just what were you spooking around for, Dragon? Or do I not want to know?"
Guest Psyber     Inga gets a polite nod back. Inga is part of the Old Ways, so he knows he can expect her to respect his house. Harry gets a nod as well, but mostly because he speaks, "I see. He must have wanted it a great deal to attack your residence," Psyber notes with some concern in his tone. He looks to Zero a moment later, "Any chance he'll be attacking again?" Inga already asked Yuuki the Elephant Question.

Kyra and Riva get a slight wave, but rather than reach for a donut or some booze, Psyber chooses the most obvious presented option. Probably the same reaction Riva was thinking of having. He plants both hands on White Len and drags the sleeping cat across the slick wooden surface of the table and into his lap, because it's a cat. He scratches at its ears slightly while conversation occurs.

"Whaaaat, nooooo, I'm shoooocked, a vampire, really?" Psyber says to the revelation that Yuuki is a vampire. Granted, he's been on a few missions and seen the following things: Yuuki growing kinda bonkers for a blood fruit, Yuuki feeding one of his office members magical blood, the whole regeneration stories he hears over and over. She was something blood-related and super natural, so yeah.

Of course, the revelation that she's NOBILITY is slightly more shocking. He had her pegged as kind of an underperformer. So this causes him to lean forward in his chair a bit, "You're Nobility? And you just handed out your blood to heal people?" This draws a surprised look to his face and causes him to think, "I don't know whether to admire the selflessness or chide the irresponsibility. I'll opt for neither."

Stabbing her own palm doesn't cause him to wince or anything. He does let out a slightly long sigh, "Alright. S we've got a guy that wants to juice up, where's the blood now?" He looks to Harry at this question.

"And what do we do about it? Track him down and negate the issue?"
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga looks to Riva, eyebrows rising in question. "Do you go around giving your blood to people?" she inquires. She's angry because she doesn't understand why this happened--and because Harry could have been killed. Their home had been invaded. Inga wants to know why.

The wisewoman glances to Wuyin, raising a brow slightly. He pulls a folder out of thin air, but for once she knows exactly how he did it. "Research?" she asks, but doesn't reach for the folder. What with...not being able to read it. Still, she's hopefull that Wuyin's sudden decision to stalk them would pay off in more ways than late night offerings of Burger King.

Inga has also taken note of the cat. For the first time since entering the room, a small smile appears. Inga loves cats. She beckons to the creature, reaching into her pouch, from which she pulls...a piece of raw meat? Not beef, nor chicken...

Alright, it's goat.

Now, her gaze returns to Yuuki, listening carefully. She isn't terribly surprised when she pulls out a knife, nor does she flinch when Yuuki cuts herself. That's basically a daily occurance for Inga. As the wound heals quickly, she bites her lips slightly and glances to Riva, then Wuyin. "Well, that is not the only thing you could have been..." she says quietly, then shakes her head.

"So, you are vampire royalty. You gave your blood to Harry because it would be useful to him if he were gravely injured," she says, beginning to relax. She can accept this. That makes sense. Perhaps she'd thought Harry would simply know what was to be done with it, without instructions?

Inga lets out a sigh. "Well, my lady Kuran, the vial was taken, so I am afraid this Hargrave has recently become a much bigger problem."
Aoko Aozaki     White Len's sleep is interrupted. She would protest, normally, but the pettings and scritching kind of make up for it. Psyber is neither her master nor Aoko, but don't bite the hand that feeds you and all that.

The white cat purrs, and fixates the handkerchief as Yuuki bloodies it. She sniffs the air a few times, obviously well aware of how high quality that blood is. She is very sad to see it wasted, though.

"You're more personable than most vampire nobility I know of. Normally the thought of feeding mere mortals or low-bloods with your pure blood should be as repulsive as the idea of a long day at the beach."

That's the cat, yes. She's got a bit of a childish voice, though her tone carries itself very regally. "Using your blood as a catalyst, could you not design a tracking spell?"
Riva Banari "Sometimes, when the Red Cross is doing a drive." Riva replies casually. "Maybe she got cursed or something and needed Harry to do some magical bloodwork or something, I don't know. Yuuki, what's your call on this?"

And then Yuuki reveals she's a Vampire. "Oh." She pauses. "That's a thing, all right. But you don't seem like a vampire at all!" She rubs her chin. "You seem so... /normal/." She says, spreading her hands and gesturing almost plainatively.

Then she gets down to serious business. She waves to Psyber and Kyra as she rolls in over next to The Bossu, and reaches out to add her own attentions to the cat, engaging in a methodical half-pet, half-rubdown. It's like some kind of cat massage, with scritchies behind the ears mixed in.

You might not be able to hug every cat, bbut you can try.

When the cat speaks, that doesn't keep her from petting it anyway. Priorities. "That's an excellent point. Can't you guys do some tracking mojo thing?" She asks. "The very thing the guy wanted might lead us straight to his doorstep. And then we can break /his/ door in, and take /his/ stuff." Riva has a longstanding double standard on this subject.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra starts to wave cheerfully to Inga when she shows up-oh, wait, she looks really /mad/. Kyra waves to /Riva/ when she shows up, limiting her greeting to that since they're going to start talking about serious business paranormal investigations now and maybe shed some light onto why Harry's house was broken into.

Okay, Kyra will take a moment to /point dramatically/ at Wuyin when he pops in. But beyond that she's totally paying attention!

"...you're a vampire...?" Kyra stares as Yuuki doles out relevation after relevation, confirming that it was her that one day on Krez's world, she didn't actually die, and Kyra probably drank a vial of vampire blood a few days ago in that dream world. And on top of that, Yuuki's apparently some kind of vampire princess.

"I guess that explains that...one moment. I didn't think much of it at the time because I was afraid you were getting raised as undead by Lezard." Kyra says slowly, sounding totally shellshocked and a little bit uncomfortable. Silently, Kyra shelves her own personal issues with vampires and distracts herself with another donut. "Water under the bridge." she says hastily.

Then she points to White Len, "That cat has a good idea. Maybe there's a way to scry on its location?" She pauses, "...that's not something I expected to say today."
Zero Kiryu     "If you're going to give out your blood, give it out fresh, where you can observe who uses it and how. Don't give people a means to store and obtain it later, useless." Zero snaps at Yuuki, his tone decidedly less than kind. Ordinarily their banter, while rough, doesn't really take on such a clearly hostile tint. In this case though, Zero is fairly obviously beyond grumpy and into actually kind of angry. He's negative enough that it's hard to tell exactly how angry, though. The fact of the matter is that just a little bit of Yuuki's blood would be enough to make a threat out of even a vampire like him.

He may still be hiding his nature, though given his own instances of regeneration, Zero wouldn't be surprised if people had put two and two together.

At the "revelation" that the vial had been taken, Zero makes a noise somewhere between a growl and a heavy sigh. There's some unidentified vampire out there who has probably charged itself up on Kuran blood, and already demonstrated itself to be semi-hostile. If it wasn't officially his problem before, it definitely is now. The worst part is nobody who knew the probable target's affiliations was present, so tracking them down...

A sidelong glance is cast towards White Len.

"She was raised as a human, not as a beast. Look to the rest of her family and their retainers for the true predators." He remarks, practically spitting. Zero's distaste for Yuuki's home and family has been a subject of joking banter, but it's not really that much of a joke, either, when it comes right down to it.
Harry Dresden     Oh good. People are talking about tracking stuff.

Harry fishes around in his pockets, and pulls out a erlenmeyer flask full of dusty crap, which he puts on the table with some significance. A sniff.
"I've brought what's left of a bunch of the schmucks who busted in. I figured that would help too. I haven't tried scrying on it yet because I didn't want the folks I'd be tracking to know I was on to them."
Yuuki Kuran     "No. There's no chance of them attacking again - it's a huge, huge, /huge/ taboo for a pureblood to attack another pureblood. To do so would be open war. It's also a huge taboo for vampires to disrespect purebloods, and..." She looks to Aido. She gives a very apologetic look. "It'd be very hard for them to attack me anyway. Um..." She looks to Aido. He looks back at her, with dread on her face.

Intoning in an 'commanding' way, she goes. "Roll on the ground on your back."

Aido immediately drops with a wordless sort of 'why me' look on his face, and starts rolling. After a moment, where it seems like he can keep going... "Oh! Right, you can stop now."

Aido gets up, and dusts himself off. Yuuki gives a very apologetic look. "Lesser vampires can't disobey the command of a Pureblood - and Aido here is from my family's line, and a Noble, so... Yeah. The only exception are 'normal' vampires, people turned from humans into vampires by a pureblood. Their pureblood controls them completely, unless they're given free reign."

She gives a bit of a helpless look at the proceedings. "I... I know. But I didn't want to be a /vampire/, I just wanted to be /helpful/. I wouldn't always be there to help him, and he may have needed it some other time. I told him it was medicine! But... You're right. I'm stupid. I shouldn't have done that. And I'm sorry for decieving you all. I... was raised human, for seventeen years. My mother sealed away my vampire side, but there was some bad things that happened and my brother woke it back up."

"Well, I don't know how to track it, or scry on it, but I can give you all a little more, if it's not been used. Or, well, even if it has. There's only a few people who would have any inside them right now. It tends to 'run out' in humans after a day or two."
Wuyin Tsai Dramatic pointing will avail ye not, Kyra Hyral.

Wuyin absorbs the vampiric revelation. He knew she wasn't quite normal, but he doesn't have much experience with vampires beyond the goons that ransacked Dresden's place. It never occurred to him that she might be some kind of undead. Of course, it might not even work that way there...

He nods towards Inga, and then looks to Yuuki. "If anyone is suspicious of your astounding regeneration, you could just say you swallowed a bee," he idly suggests. He opens the folder, and gives the cat a look from behind his perpetual 3D glasses. Talking cat. Alright then.

"There are some who would say, Dresden, that the safest place during a hurricane is at the eye of the storm. I think it's the most productive place to be instead." He lifts a page of some kind of print-out and looks it over.

"So. Simon Hargrave. A Touma-line noble vampire with a controlling interest in May As Well Call It A Front Medical Group." He slides the page to the side. There are pictures that he took at the scene and some from somewhere else. If Zero looks, he might recognize the typeface on the front page as from the Hunter's Guild. Wuyin is definitely not a member. "The paper trail goes cold when I look for a home address, but if you'd like to do some legwork..." Wuyin produces several pages full of addresses in small print. "...here's the medical group's corporate holdings."

"If it were up to me, I would choose one at random. Best odds to find what you're looking for that way," he comments. "Besides, taboos are made to be ruthlessly exploited and sidestepped at one's leisure."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga looks thoughtful at the suggestion of a tracking spell, idly reaching up to fiddle with the long white braid hanging over her shoulder. She doesn't even look /too/ startled when the cat makes the suggestion. She does feel a little silly for offering meat, though. "Yes, I do believe that could be done," she remarks, then grins at Riva's words. "Yes, indeed. But, it is likely he's already ingested the blood, which means he will be more powerful, yes?" she asks, though doesn't seem overly concerned. There are a lot of very powerful, resourceful people in the room.

Speaking of resources, Wuyin slaps down a bunch of information. Inga blinks, obviously surprised. "Well, that will help us narrow down the search considerably. Thank you Wuyin," she says graciously.

To Yuuki, she frowns. Now she feels a little guilty. "You are not stupid. The act had more consequences than you bargained for, but...well, that is life, isn't it?" she says, trying to give a reassuring smile.

Another glance to Wuyin. "Tch, indeed. You could say that," she tells Yuki. Crazy world. "As for finding him...I think our skills are quite suited for the job," she continues, looking to Dresden. Harry is well known for finding what doesn't want to be found, and Inga is a Seer and witch. They can do this, especially with a bit more of the blood. Inga knows all about blood.
Guest Psyber     Psyber scratches under the cat's chin as he looks over to Wuyin and then at the folder, "If I was going to figure out where to hit? It's a medical group. See which buildings process and test blood donations. That is the most likely place you'll find the scent again, so to speak."

Scratching White Len (and yes, he does let Riva get in there to dote on the cat too), Psyber sighs a bit and shakes his head at Yuuki, "I admire the intent behind your actions. Altruism is, applied correctly, a noble trait to have. Your overall intent is pure, we just need to clean up this minor snafu."

Psyber is immensely thick-skinned on his annoyance topics, giving Yuuki a pretty patient look before he honestly says, "But realistically, we may have to kill this guy if he has your blood. Which means I may have to ask if there's something I should know about killing him."

A moment later, he candidly adds, "But you're allowed to not answer that for obvious reasons."
Zero Kiryu     If Zero is alarmed or troubled by the fact that Wuyin has evidently been spying on the Hunter's Association, he doesn't show it. It's mostly because the organization is primarily made up of aggressive borderline lunatics like himself, and their leaders are generally chosen of those capable of flogging everybody into line by martial force. Intelligence-gathering is, in fact, not actually their strong point. That he would remain uninformed, and that information would remain buried, is entirely unsurprising.

"Most pureblood families do not have strongholds in places with a formal address. The majority of our landmass is unused as a result of a war between humans and vampires some time ago. Civilization is primarily focused in urban areas connected by train." He breaks off his explanation to glare sidelong at Inga.

"Don't coddle her. The decision she made was stupid and the end result was predictable."

Returning to the previous topic, he continues, "In summary, a Pureblood family's primary holdings will tend to be a manor or some other sprawling compound out in the countryside. They will usually own holdings within urban centers as well, for when they choose to engage society proper."

With regards to possible complications of killing their mark once they've found him, Zero asides to Psyber, "If a Pureblood is engaged, special weaponry will be required for a clean and permanent take-down." He nudges his jacket open to expose Bloody Rose, as an example. "General anti-vampire weaponry is preferable to folklore vulnerabilities such as silver or garlic."
Harry Dresden     Harry... is letting all the other people talk right now. His brain already hurts, but he's got resources and plans bubbling through his noggin.
A look to Psyber and the Cat who isn't Cait Sith. "Well the good news is, for the smaller ones, pretty much anything can ash them. The enchanted rocksalt I got in my shotgun for shooting spooks that don't usually get popped by conventional ammo worked pretty good. Also."

He fishes around in his pockets again, and pulls out another bottle. This one has... ugh, uh. It's a chunk of meat with the skin on. The skin has what looks like a sore or boil that's been popped. The meaty side of the chunk attempted to heal itself a bit, but stopped pretty quickly. So really a horrible tumor. "Inga was so kind as to hex the asshole, and he ripped off the spot before the Hex could spread and ruin his lovely and delicate prettiness. So, I got a thaumaturgical angle, seeing as computers arre not my thing."
A look over at Wuyin and his printouts and crap.
Yuuki Kuran     "Oh, uh, about that - to put down a pureblood, you need to kill them with an Anti-Vampire weapon. Considering a pureblood's minions have actively attacked humans to get something to destablilize the balance of power, I'm sure the Hunter's Guild will provide some. Beyond that, other purebloods are the only thing that can kill a pureblood. However, normal vampires, thralls, and even Nobles, though they have regeneration, can be killed normally. It's only the purebloods that need the weapons. So... If you need to borrow a weapon like that, I can give you some of my blood when the time comes, so you can use them without the control backfiring and hurting you. They're... um..."

Yuuki blanches. "The Hunter weapons are special. But, I'll leave it to you two - Inga, and Mister Dresden - for the tracking and the scrying, unless... the cat wants to help? I can give you some blood to track them, too. Zero, my brother, and myself are the only three that would show up with that otherwise, and my brother is off being the Vampire King."

Yuuki stares at the printouts, and at Wuyin, and then at the printouts, and then at Wuyin. "You're... really good at technology."
Guest Psyber     "I think the closest thing I have to explicitly anti-vampire would be Sovereign, which targets immortals and divinities. Possibly Einherjar, but I'm uncertain," Psyber admits to Zero, deferring to his expertise as he looks at Bloody Rose. He gives a nod a few moments later.

The continuation of his thought is to Yuuki, "I'd like a sword if the Guild can spare it. If they can't, I'll stick to my personal equipment and leave the coup de grace to Zero when the time comes for it," He answers frankly and openly. If he can't get the gear, he has no objection letting Zero use that gun of his to finish it.

Beyond that, Psyber spends most of his time doting on the nightmare vampire cat in his lap, "I will help in whatever way I am capable of, both as an investigator and a hunter myself."
Aoko Aozaki     White Len accepts additional pettings.
She actually puts up very little resistance to being straight up moved around or hugged. She is a cat, after all, and prone to bouts of extreme laziness.

Without warning, the door slams open.

Aoko bursts through, holding three extra large pizza boxes and a grocery bag in her other hand. "I just got my paycheck so I bought food! They had a special on extra garlic so I hope you like that. Oh, Psyber, the store next door was having a sale on blessed crosses and assorted silver objects, I got a grab bag!"

A brief pause as the red-haired magi looks around.

"What's the meeting about? I heard the word tracking."

White Len burries her face in her paws.
Kyra Hyral     Meanwhile, Kyra has leaned over to examine the remains of the vampires that Dresden brought. She slides the flask closer to herself and takes a sniff at the contents. "Getting an anti-Vampire weapon for Heaven or Hell use does seem like it'd be a good idea at this rate." Kyra chimes in, holding up the erlenmyer flask. "Hey Dresden, question..."

She points to the vampire ashes, "Are you going to keep this? I'm curious as to what can be done with this stuff." She stops to stare at Aoko for a moment.

Then she points at the box of Krispy Kremes on the table. "Free donuts."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga looks to Zero. Blink. Eyebrow raise. Slight thinning of her lips....then, a smile. A knowing sort of smile. She inclines her head to his slightly, then listens. Anti-vampire weapons? Inga wonders...it seems they've been made to deal with all sorts of nasty uncanny creatures, perhaps their anima infused attacks would be potent against these vampires too? Ah, but if there is an established method... Inga shrugs to herself.

Aoko bursts in, and Inga turns her head, blinking. "Ah...so that's why I smelled garlic," she comments, shrugging.
Riva Banari Riva shrugs while still absently working over the cat. "Everything I use is modified in some way so I can do my thing with it. If there's something super-special, I'll use what I have to use. I guess these anti-vampire weapons need some kind of Pureblood influence to function properly?"

Riva looks over as Aoko busts into the room. "Hey Aoko, we're gonna go blow up a jerkbag vampire who stole some blood and wants to use it to superpower themselves. Want to come along?"

She chuckles for the moment. "Either way, I should be able to help. Wuyin's clearly done all the snooping because he's a sneaky bastard, so it's just a matter of doing some followups. I'll come along and try to keep people from murdering you guys."
Zero Kiryu     "I understand you accepted payment for the blood. If that is so, why did a dispute come out of it?" Zero asks of Dresden, diverting his attention from the attack plan in order to ferret out this piece of the puzzle. This is what had gone unexplained, or at least unexplained as far as he's heard. Predators they may be, but they use their human skins to their advantage. Why attempt to acquire the blood in such a human way, and then risk the Hunter's Association coming after them? It doesn't make sense. A deal had been reached that involved minimal risk.
Wuyin Tsai "I've had a lot of practice," Wuyin replies, smiling slightly at Yuuki. He starts to nod to Inga --

Then, he just needs to take a second, because Aoko's appearance is just /gold/. He leans back in his chair for a moment, and idly watches to see if any of the most traditional repellants have any effect at all on the resident vampire(s). Knowledge is power.

"I can apply large amounts of fire," Wuyin says, "and other things. I don't know many things Anima won't dispatch." There's a beat. He looks to Zero. "He was more upset that they raided his home for it, I think."
Harry Dresden     Harry crosses his arms and looks at Zero. "Because he was a damn vampire, and despite the 'old ways', he clearly wasn't dealing in good faith. The 'deal' might have been to turn over the blood for cash, but he immediately put out a call that he knew I had it, that it wasn't on me, and that it was in myt apartment. The cash was a ruse."

He takes another sip of coffee, and waves down for some pizza. "And when I didn't immediately deliver, he sent mooks into my damn house to steal it, breaking Hospitality. That shit doesn't fly."
Yuuki Kuran     "Honestly, it'd probably be bad if you killed Touma... But as long as you don't, you probably need to beat the blood out of him anyway. Hargrave, however... Zero, can you call up an Execution Notice for him, with the Hunters? He attacked humans, so it'll be easy. You'll probably find it really easy to get backup and assistance from Zero and the Hunter's Guild that way, and if they're trying to get my blood, then they're not obeying the Truce or the Council. Just... please, do it /quietly/, if you can? If my brother finds out that Touma is trying to steal my blood for power..."

She looks down at her lap. "I don't really want to think about what he'll do."

At the idea of the deal, Yuuki shrugs. "He probably got antsy. Most vampires can't wait or do much else but dream about eating Purebloods. It's... pretty creepy. Only people like Aido get over it - and he's my tutor in the Vampire world. Oh! Before I forget, powers."

Yuuki points at Aido. "Noble vampires inherit powers from their progenitor. Since the Kuran line manipulates energy, most of the Nobles of that line manipulate a type of energy. Aido can manipulate ice. Touma... well he does... shadow... things? Also, vampires of the Noble level or higher can manipulate memories and Purebloods can summon familiars and..."

Aido sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "What the 'Princess' is trying to say, is be careful - most of the weaknesses other types of Vampires have don't apply to us. Running water, garlic, crosses... Attacks to the head or heart work, and we don't like the sun. Beyond that, Anti-Vampire weapons are extremely lethal to us." He tch's. "I don't see why /I/ had to say all of this. It's like giving away the keys to the castle."

Yuuki smiles lightly. "I'll be staying at my family's mansion in the mountains until this all blows over or if you need me for anything, since Zero will be helping you."
Aoko Aozaki     "Huh? Anti-vampire weaponry? Ah, geez. I'd ask the Church for some Black Keys but I think I can imagine their response!" Now with visuals!

Chibi Aoko accosts a Chibi Inquisitor.
"Ne, ne, Inquisitor-san, can I have Black Keys?"
"No also go away you cost us enough as-is, Blue-sama."
    "Nyoro~n."

    End visuals!

The pizza is set on the table for everyone to help themselves, and the bag of holy symbols and silver objects handed to Psyber. Then she helps herself to the Krispy Kremes. "Sure, sure, I'm all in for hunting a vampire before he causes a mess. Ah, a princess?" Aoko zips over there ----> to stand in front of Yuuki. "Sorry, sorry! I don't meet princesses very often, you're only the second vampire princess I ever meet! I'm not sure about formality codes. Do I have to call you highness? Take your hand a kiss it?"

White Len burries her face deeper into her paws.
Aoko's tone indicates she is spazzing. Not being sarcastic or anything of the like. Those are all legitimate questions.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga looks to the piece of vampire flesh and smiles a little. "I wonder if he's gotten rid of that curse yet," she muses, then furrows her brow as she thinks over Harry's very colorful expression about shit not flying. Was...flying shit desirable? Curious.

Inga nods to Wuyin. "Taking out things like that seem to be our purpose," she agrees.

Inga blinks at Aoko. Only the second vampire princess? Inga resists the urge to rub her temples. "I think we have a plan then. Acquire anti-vampire weapons...Harry and I will work on a tracking spell and go over Wuyin's notes," she says, then looks to Riva. "Then we break his door in and take his stuff," she says, grinning.

"Oh, and probably kill him," she adds as an afterthought.
Harry Dresden     Harry mutters into his coffee, watching Aoko be a spazz.
"I am ver down with killing him."
Kyra Hyral     "So 'shoot them in the head'? That seems reasonable enough to me." Kyra says cheerfully, setting the flask of vampire ashes down in front of her. She'll pester Harry about having it later when there aren't more important things to discuss. "Hey Yuuki, I take it that vampires like you and of your world don't really count as undead, right? So normal healing magic won't hurt you? For future reference."

    And future retention of sanity.

Inga promptly gets a double thumbs up of approval from Kyra. "Yes! Signed!"
Guest Psyber     Psyber has no problem treating Len like a full-on cat, rolling her over to her back and scratching her tummy. This is due to his experience treating Laine like a full-on dog most of the time. This may, in fact, be the only truly objectionable thing Len finds offending her delicate cat senses. Psyber almost constantly has the faint traces of wolf around him. Poor cat.

"Got it. Handle the thing discretely and without your brother finding out. Can do," Psyber says to Yuuki with a nod of his head, "I'll have Zero, I guess, put me into contact with the right pe-"

Psyber has a big bag of crap stuffed into his arms. The same lap that was holding Aoko's OWN VAMPIRE CAT. So hopefully that doesn't upset Len too badly. He sets them down next himself before he gets the dickens clawed out of him. Possibly too late for that, though.

"Ah, thanks Aoko. I'll be sure to melt this down and use it for bullets. Or knives." He's not a Belmont. He doesn't throw crosses at people for sick damage.
Zero Kiryu     "I'm not questioning your judgement. I just needed the full picture." Zero clarifies to Dresden, his tone a bit more relaxed. He crosses his arms over his chest and nods slowly, "Given the circumstances, the political problems that could come from this incident are minimal. I'll deal with the legwork in the Hunter's Association, and we'll go deal with Touma and his attack dogs." Internally, the Hunter is already plotting his own angle to this. If they play this right, they can cripple and humiliate a Pureblood family for quite some time to come. If Touma could be provoked to act...

"They're not biologically dead, no. That sort of thing won't work." Zero explains to Kyra. "The lower the classification of vampire, the more vulnerable to conventional damage. Losing a limb isn't a problem even for low-class vampires, but a sufficiently big body shot can be. Treat them like most worlds would treat a 'zombie', and you'll probably inflict lethal damage."
Wuyin Tsai "Destroying the supernaturally deadly seems to be a talent of ours," Wuyin remarks. He seems to be enjoying the sight of extreme mage-spazzing, because it's something that people in his neck of the woods don't do, lest they, uh, die violently.

"Anything else we should know about common vampiric strengths? Super-strength or speed, hypnotic gazes, that sort of thing."
Aoko Aozaki     Psyber's hands and lap are now full of blessed objects, silver objects, and holy symbols. White Len reacts exactly like a cat does when you splash water on it.

She starts clawing like she's on her deathbed to ascend Mount Psyber up to his skull and then jump off and onto a desk behind him, whereupon she will lick her paws and try to save face by remaining an upright and dignified cat.

"Oh, oh! I can help with a tracking spell," Aoko meanwhile tells Inga. "I mean, I'm not especially good at magecraft but I do know a lot of styles and spells. I can help shape it right."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga looks to Aoko, small smile appearing. "Certainly, if you'd like," she replies. Why not?
Guest Psyber     "Ow. Damnit. Ow. Fuck. Ow. Shit. Ow. Goddamnit." Psyber complains the entire time that Len is scrambling to climb him and right up until she sleaps off to a desk. More than a couple quickly-healing claw marks cover his face from the mad dash to reach the top of him. He ahems a moment later and says, "Right, so."

He looks over to Zero in a business-like manner, "If Yuuki is ducking out and I'm working through you, can you give me Guild contacts and put me in line to make requests?" He asks in a curious tone, showing absolutely no reaction to the fact a cat was climbing him moments ago.

"I'll follow your lead, though. It's your world and all, so you just tell me what you need done and I'll let you take point on it with no objection," Psyber says to Zero pretty deferentially.
Yuuki Kuran     "Oh! Um... They're all super strong, fast, regenerate, and do /not/ let Touma bite you. That's... how he would turn you into a vampire from my world. Only Purebloods can do it, and if it happens to you, you'll become his slave forever, if it sticks. I think only humans can be turned, though." Yuuki offers.

On the subject of vampire superprincess, Yuuki blushes and looks away. "Oh... Just Yuuki is fine." She murmurs. Aido in the background goes even paler than normal, and looks like he's about to raise an indignant shitstorm.

"I'm just from 'the line of the King' - my parents didn't really make a big deal out of it. Uh... I guess I have powers, though? I try just to help people. My family has a lot of money I can throw around, but mostly I just have a lot of retainers and maids and stuff, and Zero hates going to my house."

She raises both hands in a disarming gesture, with a huge 'eheheh' look. "Really, I'm just a normal high school girl. Even though I... don't... go to high school any more. Eh... eheh..."
Zero Kiryu     "There's no point. Since it involves her," Zero jerks his head towards Yuuki, "the matter will be deferred to me, and I don't feel like involving the rest of my organization. The material used in the production of our weapons is in short supply and existing weapons usually run in families, so I can't offer too much. I'll provide my own personal back-ups on a temporary basis." He pauses momentarily, giving Psyber a very stern gaze. "They belonged to my parents, so I expect them back in one piece."

The Hunter turns his attention towards Hanabusa, who is getting ready to explode from indignation. "If you start, I'm kicking you out." He cuts across him ruthlessly, miming the action of grabbing him by the back of his collar. It's no joke, Zero isn't at all above throwing Aido out like some kind of oversized, pissy housecat.

In the meantime, Yuuki gets him started on a completely different subject by mentioning her education (or lack thereof). "You should. Nothing that Hanabusa can teach you is going to prepare you to live the way you want to. And your grades were terrible. You can't have graduated on schedule under this guy's tutelage unless nepotism and cronyism were involved." He belts out several harsh criticisms at Yuuki, like a very unpleasant social machine gun.

His tone's back to normal, though. It's at least well-meaning this time. To Yuuki, that is. Hanabusa is just being used as a prop.
Riva Banari Riva gives Inga a thumbsup while acquiring pizza and nomming. "Everything is solid. Looks like we all have a good plan laid out and we can start kicking people in the head soon. Awesome. Just, uh... Call me up anytime someone needs me. I'll watch your backs." Len clawing the living crap out of Psyber causes Riva to reel a bit to get out of the cat radius until Len settles down.

"Awww, poor kitty." Riva follows the cat around, apparently keeping track of the cute and horribly dangerous pet like some kind of cute magnet. Meanwhile, Riva replies to Yuuki, "It'll work out. We won't let him turn any of us into a vampire, and you'll get to come back out soon. We don't need any trouble, we'll handle it nice and quiet."

As quiet as a Templar gets anyway. Zero's comments causes Riva to get a pondering look. "Hmm... That must be some helluva rare material." She comments, quirking her eyebrow as Zero then rounds on Aido. She doesn't interfere in the machinegun of criticism until he hits the end. "Well, umm..." Riva begins venturing. "Maybe I can help her with high school stuff? I've been through college, and well... I can give her a hand if you guys want..." Oh yeah, like Riva's going to be a decent teacher at all.
Aoko Aozaki     "It's okay! My grades were terrible too and I turned out fine!" For a given definition of fine. Aoko is basically a wandering superpowerful hobo. It may not be Yuuki's prefered lifestyle choice.

"Alright though, got it! Yuuki it is."

She'll be more than happy to help Inga and Harry when it's time. Even if she's not totally sure how MUCH she can help. But she'll try! Hopefully the tracking spell won't turn into lasers.

White Len won't mind Riva, although she's a bit stiff and agitated right now. MOSTLY she's pissed at Aoko. That HAD to be on purpose. (Spoiler: it wasn't, Aoko's a huge derp.)
Yuuki Kuran     Yuuki looks around. "Is everything all set up? Good! I'm glad we're all on the same page now. I'll let Zero, Psyber, and Mister Dresden handle the arrangements, and coordinate the finding. Also, I'll be leaving a bunch of my blood with Psyber, in the Tower, for you to scry on, use in potions, whatever. I'll ask that you don't remove it from the premises unless you're intending on using it because... Well, I know this place is totally safe - but outside the same thing may happen again. Drinking some before you go should also let you use Zero's backup weapons." She smiles.

Aido looks utterly horrified, but as Zero glares at him and aims to throw him out, he takes on a dignified and haughty stance. "I'm fine. Not that I think that's a good idea, but I'll be fine."

Yuuki smiles weakly. "Well, I'll just... go get to bleeding myself again. Um, do you have blood IV bags around, Psyber? I may need a few after." She wonders.

With that, the meeting seems adjourned.
Guest Psyber     "Uh, I do have one rule," Psyber says, looking particularly towards Harry, Inga, and Wuyin, as he makes a concluding statement, "I'm fine with my office being used to store the blood, but this isn't just my place of business. It's also a home for a pretty decent number of people. Because of that, I am going to have to put down the rule that if you're coming in and out of the tower, have one of the office employees escort you at most times. Or if you need blood, call ahead and I'll have it waiting in the lobby."

Psyber waves his hand in a casual sort of gesture, "A lot of crap has gone down in the past few months, so security is tightened up a bit around here. In general, it's also just not wanting people traipsing around my house without an escort."

Then, he does look over and finally reply to Zero and Yuuki, "I will make absolutely sure you get the weapons back in perfect condition. And I think we do have some IV and blood in storage upstairs."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga nods respectfully to Psyber. "Of course," she agrees.
