Due to reasons of inscrutable space-magic and 'the BY-LAWS of LIGHTSPEED' applying stocking an ultra-long-range FTL vehicle sourced in Afterus for travel in Lilian's world, furnishing the vessel itself for long-range travel residence requires household items (appliances, cookware, furniture, etc) with substantial ontological inertia and human contact-history. Unless someone wants to start pointlessly raiding the homes of random small-town geriatrics, that means a lot of multiversal thrift stores, and of course, the worst and best finds therein.
Moderate social, possibly with funny gimmicks if I feel like it. Does not require involvement in Lilianplot because Arthur invites fuckin' anyone, honestly. |
| For Those We Have Lost | 2026-04-01 22:00:00 | Skipper Whiskersmith is a hero. The Beast-breaking savior of Bramble Hollow, and perhaps eventually of their entire world. Every day with every victory their legend and renown grows.
This isn't about Skipper, though. Not directly. Yesterday, the Whiskersmith Farm was vandalized, with a clear message left alongside the smashed windows and uprooted plants. 'c+red!+whitewhy didn't you save us?c/' A carefully crafted request for help is sent out, not via Skipper but via their traveling companions, to exclude Skipper themself. Skipper doesn't need to know about this. --- Open scene, alt preference for Watch or for characters who've met Skipper. Will have a continuation pre-booked but you don't have to attend both. Not an april fools day thing. |

| The Gang Does Kepler-1652b (2) | 2026-04-06 22:00:00 | Arthur, intending to work *with* rather than *against* the flow of lightspeed in Lilian's world, needs to invent a new form of FTL; after all, someone native to that universe struggled to break the lightspeed barrier over too long a distance, so he ought to not rock the boat too much in a literal sense. He'll be cooking that up, in an exhausted break-time after everyone's done moving furniture onto the new vessel, soon to be bound for Kepler-1652b. But it'll also be a chance to chat and eat snacks in the context of preparation for a big trip.
You can probably arrange with the actual plotrunner for involvement in Lilianplot, but this one will also be social and preparation/science, with some fun ideas for how Arthur approaches upcoming stuff in the plot. |
