Kakarot (723) has posed:
REPTILON, FERN VALLEY

the agricultural breadbasket of Reptilon, the verdant Fern Valley is the source of the vast majority of the Reptilonians' fruit, vegetables, and grains, all cared for with the accompaniment of the ferns that grow thickly here. Some communities even use the ferns as a method to help grow their crops, using their products to help fertilize the soil, or forming the ferns into runners or stands. It is very impressive to look at from a farmer's perspective.

But the four who look down upon Fern Valley are not farmers. They are warriors and leaders of men. Four lights shine in the sky: Red, blue, and green in a triangular pattern around the gold core.

Four Saiyans. Four power signatures flare.

Four power levels exploding to Super Saiyan levels immediately, not waiting for the response as four ki blasts begin shearing down into the earth, whipping past through the ground at high speed. The ground trembles, and ki detonations occur, shattering rock and blowing apart beautiful, perfectly-cared for farmland in flame and destruction. Homes, families, equipment, and livestock are not safe. Anything caught within is destroyed without thought for the moments of suffering they may feel.

And with a silent signal, they suddenly break off, spreading out to give the gift of their destruction over a wider area.

This is not a military installation. This is a direct attack upon the infrastructure of Reptilon.

After all: If a man cannot eat...

They cannot fight.

Cell (696) has posed:
If a man can't eat, he can't fight.

It's a simple paradigm. The concept of Total War is not unique to human beings, after all. It's the same as attacking a human being - you go for the heart, the neck; you cut off the flow of life, and the body dies. Cities and people are the same, in that grand respect. They're both terribly vulnerable if you know where to strike.

Fortunately for Reptilon, Cell is on retainer.

Cell basically expected this. He knows Kakarot. He knows Kakarot's mind, because Kakarot and he are terrifyingly similar. They're both brilliant generals, military leaders of the highest order, with experience and pragmatism backing up overwhelming power and practicality. They're both frighteningly powerful monsters who are used to operating not with the sledgehammer but the scalpel, not with the grenade but with the pistol. A shot in the right place does more damage than an explosive in the wrong one, in the end.

Cell lands nearby. Four Saiyans. Four power signatures. Four attackers.

Cell's horrible mandibles split as his eyes narrow into his own approximation of a smile.

     Dinner time.

Cell wastes exactly zero time. He flits upwards and into the battle, his horrible, screaming aura of souls shrieking as he does so.

He's not going to bother with Kakarot. He had his go at Kakarot. He knows how that'll turn out. But there are three other Saiyans here, and one of them isn't going to survive the fight.

Cell, in his immaculate tuxedo, with a cigar in hand, stops in front of the Saiyans and wiggles his tail. It's a big, public, grandiose gesture, because Cell, for all his military pragmatism, still has a flair for the dramatic. "Eenie,"

     "Meenie,"

     "Minie,"

     "Moe."

"Catch a monkey," Cell continues, lighting his cigar with a flick of his fingers, "By its toe."

"When he screams to let him go,"

Cell's eyes narrow, horrible pinpricks of alien delight as his buzzing wings and buzzing voice harmonize with a disturbing level of insectoid menace, "Drink him dry and lay him low."

     "You."

"I'm hungry. I'm on the payroll. Let's do this."

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Alarms blare inside the Tarpits 3, Rex leans over his command console, reviewing the data as it blurs across his screen, "That sadistic Tail for Brains is going after the farms!"

Quackpot jerks his head up, "The farms are off limits! It's forbidden to fight there! QUACK!"

"TO US, you mesozoic moron! Kakarot don't give a furballs tuft about our rules of engagement! Scramble Tarpits 3!" Rex commands then stabs a abutton on his console, bringing up Styraco's beaked face.

"How many Raptors do we have?"

"6?" Styraco shrugs.

"6! That's it!"

"We had to purge to create your decoys. These things take time, Rex, you know that ..." Styraco says in an even tone.

"Legion!" Rex shouts.

Styraco's face is replaced by a single glowing red circle, peering out of the screen, "Prepare your raptors for guerrilla warfare. Keep my decoys handy in case we need them."

"We are Legion. We obey" the red light flares in response.

The hulking behemoth known as Tarpits 3 fires its boosters and makes its way for Fern Valley!

Banjo (773) has posed:
A streak through the sky as something enters from orbit high above. Not a being, or a person. But an object. As it catches the outer atmosphere it explodes in a fiery glow, hull radiating a bright orange as it resists the extreme amounts of heat. As it finally punches through to leave only trails of curling smoke and steam, the oddly shaped spacecraft slows and halts completely, coming to a gentle rest on the soft plains of outer Fern Gully.
For a minute, it just sits there. Quietly cooling, engines whirring down as they shut off.
Then, movement. A hatch opens up in the bottom of the ship, and out of the vessel springs a young, green skinned alien. The boy from New Namek hits the ground with a solid thud, eyes slowly opening wide as he adjusts to natural light.
Immediately he feels the presence of strong beings nearby. They hit him like a slap in the face, his mouth swallowing at the incredibly energy levels he felt. Not far from him, but out of eyesight. He squints, trying to determine the nature of these powers. Only when the ground rocks, vibrating from the shots of energy that the Confederates fire, does he get any indication.
    Enemies!
Flexing and rotating his wrists, Banjo takes to the air with a jump. Flying to the scene.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
The last fight with the Saiyans had caught Sanary off guard. She had expected immense speed and power, but not to the level of what she had seen that time. That was then, though, and this time around, the healer is thoroughly prepared for what's to come.

Armor made from the Berserk Tetsucabra! A gunaxe on her hip! A buckler strapped to her arm! What looks like a massive bagpipe strapped to her back! Granted, most of this preparation would be useless if they ended up not showing up during her day of patrolling, although even that wouldn't be so bad. Even with all of this extra protection, would she really be ready to fight any of them on an even field?

Unluckily for her, this just so happened to be the day. At least she's far enough to not get hit by one of those ki blasts destroying the fields, although the shockwaves from the explosion are more than enough to shake the healer to her core.

Well, she was bound to get horribly maimed sooner or later. Might as well be against an overwhelming opponent. And so, she's on her way to follow those signatures!

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta's had his ship on this planet almost perpetually for a while, knowing that the Neo Saiyans would keep coming back.

That's why it's no surprise when Vegeta himself, in all of his first stage golden haired glory, tears ass across miles in minutes. Instant transmission be damned, Vegeta pumps tons of power into his flight speed right now. He only brings ten Saiyan soldiers with him, and about 100 assorted alien soldiers. But they lag behind him significantly. It will probably take them a while to get here by flight. So as it stands, Vegeta arrives alone.

Vegeta -immediately- flies toward Kakarot, fists held out like he's goddamned Superman, and tries to plow his entire body into Kakarot's like a golden bullet shot from the sky. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!"

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
Though it isn't EXACTLY Confederate territory, it is a Confederate objective. And Krezentia hasn't been in a real fight for a few years now; oh, Magi back home provide enough entertainment, as do the Holy Empire's troops, but they can't exactly threaten her life. Or at least, so far, they haven't been able to. Fights without thrills, without risks, without stakes. It's /boring/.

But here, she can hit two birds with one stone.

Re-establish herself as working for the Confederacy's interests, and fighting someoneone, or someone's lieutenant worst-case, who has established himself a high-priority threat. Things don't get much better.

Thus we have a beam of purple light, descending from the sky, smashing into the soil, and forming into the blonde Magi. She adjusts her baseball cap, tweaks something under one of her sleeves, and then grins wide.

    "Worm Smasher."

A wall of purple portals, round, more like wormholes than anything else, suddenly springs up overhead, covering a portion of the still intact food and land. There's a couple dozen of them, nothing that can't be fired around.

But the portals spring up at just the right time that a volley of ki attacks from Kakarot and his lieutenants disappear into the purple circles, and then shoot right back out of another set, essentially back into their faces. That's probably not a trick that'll work twice!

Allo (724) has posed:
Retaliation for the operation pulled on the Bardock by the gathered defenders of Reptilon had been a forgone conclusion. Inevitable, like many things in this lasting siege of the planet. It had only been when and where that was unknown until those power readings flared in the skies over the fertile valleys that supplied the inhabitants with a majority of their food.

The location finally revealed, however, was not an unexpected one. The time for politics was over, now Allo was looking at this as a military leader should, as much as he still disliked being in the position. Kakarot knew that a straight forward attack would not win this invasion without extensive losses on all sides, including his own. Previous encounters had proven he had some grasp of tactics, and a willingness to force this into a conflict of denial and attrition if the previous attempt to get to Lavadome under a distraction was any indicator.

So when the alarms start blaring aboard the Carrier, Allo is anything but surprised. He had spent the last several days, in between communications with Sky Lynx and Dimentro working on prepping evacuation needs, to try and consider the tactics and responses that would come.

"Put the Carrier into low geosyncronized orbit over Fern Valley and keep the main cannons on standby. If worse case arrises, they'll make an impromptu orbital strike." Allo didn't even break a beat in his orders and he got up and walked towards the bridge's lift. "Brontothunder, Tricero, get whatever defenders are available to the area to form a containment perimeter. Anything tries to leave the sector, shoot it down. Teryx, have medical response on standby."

Brontothunder craned his saurian neck to give Allo a scrutinizing look. "Where are you going, commander."

Allo paused at the doors to the lift as they slid open, but didn't actually look back. "To have a long overdo 'talk' with Kakarot."

As Allo stepped into the lift and the doors shut behind him, Brontothunder cracked the faintest of smiles. Just because Allo had emphasized 'talk' in much the same way he did when he meant doing so with anything but words.

Several minutes later, as the Carrier is pulling into it's overhead position, the hanger bay opens, though it's only Allo's own ship that launchs and rockets towards Reptilon's surface.

Rebound (750) has posed:
After her run-in with the saiyans when they attacked the ship, Rebound has been itching for another chance to engage them. The kangaroo fighter has been looking forward to this and when reports about the attack go out, she's quick to do her best to get down there. It takes a bit of doing to find the right warp gate, but after the travel time, she finds herself on the edge of Fern Valley, looking out across the destruction that's already being brought down.

"Alright. Flying band of super powered lunatics who shoot lasers out of their hands and can probably knock over buildings by breathing at them. No big deal, right? You're not in over your head or anything." She takes a very deep breath and then takes a couple of steps back, before making a running leap, covering a large distance with the jump. She has to close the distance between herself and the main brunt of the Saiyan attack so she can try to get their attention.

She hasn't figured out how she's going to get their attention yet. One problem at a time, after all. She doesn't think simply insulting their mothers will work, so she's going to have to figure out a way to get creative to grab their attention. Already ideas are starting to run through her head as she takes another huge jump, covering even more land with each passing second.

She has to be fast, so she can grab one of them before they cause too much damage. She figures the fight is going to cause enough damage, she'll have to also figure out a way to drag it out somewhere that won't be near civilians. So much to think about when you're not just fighting street punks in a back alley. What did she get herself into, she wonders. All this stuff is way out of her league, but she has to at least try.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
The red king sits aboard his battestation, impotently shouting orders and damning himself in the process, "How could I have been so stupid? Of COURSE he'd go for the ferns! GRAH!"

Rex slams his claws down on the console, the screen flickers and a scaley face appears, "Huh? I'd forgotten about you ... tell me, old wyrm, want to kill something for me? Follow the beacon in the ring I gave you and fight for me this day and I will shower you in shiney things the likes of which you have never seen before!"

Deelel has posed:
Deelel had told Allo she would help in any way she could, and with a lot of the chaos on the grid handled she was able to redirect herself to helping his People more fully now. So here the Bacis was ready to help stop this. Kararot wouldn't be talked out of this by anyone really, or so much as Deelel could tell. So here she was she didn't have her disc out, she did not have a staff out she was there seemingly unready for a fight. There's a good reason she's being carried by Cory, rather than make her self more obvious with a light jet. It wasn't mechanized forces that could normally carry the day against the Sayains, you needed to get up in thier grill, she knew that much. Thankfully Cory lets her off and noe she's going in.

"Take out the food supply, and a siege becomes waiting the defenders out till they give up or starve."

Smaug (689) has posed:
Be it for better or worse, several days ago when the tyrant known as Genghis Rex had 'died', and news went across the multiverse that it had happened, something had stirred on an island that had not risen to an occasion for far to long. To hear of this creature's death struck a sour note that would resonate for hours, even days, causing something entirely foreign, yet somehow similar, to move to Reptilon in preparation for its time of need. Now, at Rex's call, this creature took flight. Wings beat, sending a terror surging across the skies of Reptilon that could not be confused for anything native to the planet.

35 feet from his shoulder to his tail, 15 feet wide, clad in red from head to toe, the dragon known as Smaug may be heard before seen. A roar as loud as a jet-liner reaches out across Fern Valley, alerting each and every person within the valley that he had arrived. With an image of Kakarot and his subordinates sent to him moments earlier, the dragon's search begins. Be it the leader, or one of his lackeys, there's no doubt that this dragon's ire will have to be dealt with.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The response, as expected, is immediate. It will take time even for four Super Saiyans to surgically obliterate Fern Valley. In a way, it's far less efficient than the alternative.

But no one wants to see the alternative. That doesn't serve /anyone/ here. The Worm Smasher, however, becomes a compelling counterargument to sustained long-range bombardment. If she can keep doing that, they're going to hurt themselves more than Fern Valley, especially as Toma efficiently blasts himself in the back and sending himself sprawling. Gaplan hits himself in the face with his own blast and barely moves, his armor and flesh smoking but eliciting little response from tanklike Super Saiyan. Zuki actually /curves/ her ki blast around herself, wrapping it through the multirude of worm holes in a dizzyingly complicated pattern as she redirects the blast intended to strike farmland back towards Krezentia herself! Meanwhile, Kakarot wings himself, but manages to spin himself out of the way of the worst of his own blast. He laughs, despite the horrible-looking, smoking hole in his armor. "NICE!" He bellows out. "LET'S SEE MORE OF THAT!"

Toma is the unfortunate selection by Cell. The incoming horror causing the Scout Saiyan to instantly break formation as he flash-steps out of the way of the incoming assault. "Hey! Cell! I know you want to fight and all, but how about we just call it a draw, okay?" He grins, scratching the back of his head with a doofy expression...

Before he blurs, attempting to clothesline Cell at high speed with a ki blast. "JUST KIDDING!" He calls, brightly.

Meanwhile, Zuki screams, shrieking with pure hatred as scorching emerald-tinged ki beams wash out from her hands, breaking into a multitude of almost danmaku-esque patterns as she demonstrates why she's in charge of the long-ranged ki specialist division. The blasts are intended to rain down on the ground in a wide, scattered wave.

This doesn't stop Gaplan from hitting the ground like two tons of pain, cratering a nearby chunk of mountain as he pulls himself up and immediately digs his hands int othe ground. This makes him a target for ground-based opposition, but it's clear he's probably the best suited for it.

Kakarot looks up as Vegeta burns towards him in a terrifying challenge. A thin smile slices acros his face, a dark hunger entering his killer's eyes as Vegeta approaches him. "I've been waiting /too long/ for this, Vegeta!" He calls, and he smashes directly towards the competition.

The impact is colossal as they meet, a massive shockwave rolling outwards through the air. "SHOW ME WHAT IT MEANS TO BE SAIYAN ROYALTY, VEGETA! SHOW ME WHY YOU BELIEVE YOU HOLD THE DESTINY OF MY PEOPLE!"

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"I'll wipe that smile off your face, Kakarot! I'll show you, and everyone else, exactly -why- I am the King of All Saiyans, and why -you- are nothing but a low-class soldier!" Vegeta, as if a manifestation of pure rage, ROARS as he locks fingers with the taller man, and unleashes a gigantic torrent of untamed golden energy from his mouth at point blank range. "WELCOME TO THE END OF YOUR LIFE, KAKAROT!!!"

Cell (696) has posed:
<RADIO: DBZ> Allo says, "I want these people off my planet. The time for playing by the 'nice' rules is over."

As soon as he hears it, Cell makes a noise like a grasshopper chirping, a sick, insectoid delight. It's a loud and unsettling noise that trills across the field like a bell. He drinks in a long drag from his potent smokable, and doesn't exhale - which is strange, because Kakarot already saw that tactic.

Then Toma's blast just takes out his face - and most of his horrible insectile head. Cell's body hangs there, limply, in the air. It's almost comical to see. It's like something out of a cartoon, with the cigar still right in front of the smoking hole where the head had been, as if it was about to take another drag, the smoke dispersing away from where it had been travelling down whatever passes for Cell's breathing system.

And then, around the smoke, musculature. It lashes out like horrible tentacles, tying itself together piece by piece. In the span of an instant, Cell's muscles explode from his neck and reform his head around the dispersing smoke itself. His horrible insectile eyes explode out of that musculature as his mandibles and exoskeleton regrow around it, solidifying into his hideous face.

     "Ow," Cell replies.

     He vanishes.

In the span of an instant he's behind Toma. He doesn't attack. He just gets in close, so Toma can feel the horrible monster's presence, so he can smell the hideous beast's cigar-smoke, so he can see the shadow of that tail dangling over his back.

     "Just kidding."

Cell's hand lashes out for Toma's arm. It's not just a simple grab, and it's not just a break. Cell's tail moves to wrap around the other arm as his hand closes around the first, and...

Well, you know how a Certain Kind Of People likes to tear apart bugs and watch them wriggle?

Cell is that Certain Kind Of Person.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
It takes Sanary some time just to catch up, but spotting the giant Gaplan on the ground gives her the only practical target to focus her efforts on. A fitting opponent, too, considering how their last encounter had a rather chilly reception.

"I... I'm going after the big one!" Whipping the giant bagpipe off her back and slamming it into the ground, the healer strikes several notes on the weapon before raising it into the air to let the oversized instrument play an excessively loud tune! Although it might not actually do anything to Gaplan himself, the power of the horn reverberates into the air to bolster her (and nearby allies') defenses!

"Hey! Remember me, big guy? It's time for a rematch!"

Smaug (689) has posed:
After crossing the entirety of the Valley once, and then looping back, the dragon that has appeared in the sky over Fern Valley seems to have made a choice on who to go after. Gaplan would have more than Sanary to deal with, and they would discover it quickly due to the strafing blast of fire that Smaug sends his way, surging only a dozen or so feet off the ground as he surges by. Hopefully Sanary doesn't lose her eyebrows due to her proximity..

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
Successful as the initial wall of wormholes might have been, Krezentia cannot deploy that many for very long, or very often. A couple's fine, a few dozen drains the battery. Zuki's second volley is far too wide-spread, and her ability to curve ki blasts makes the stationary purple portals significantly less useful. Most of them vanish, in fact.

One appears in front of Krezentia.
    Another directly behind Zuki.

The Magi snaps her fingers. "Zwei!" And a black, gold and purple hoverboard teleports in. She hops onto it, and speeds into the wormhole ahead of her with it.

She comes out of the one behind the Saiyan.

    "Neuroi Laser!"

Her hair and shirt suddenly change color, going from blonde to black with red, empty hexagons here and there. Her left hand extended, it fires a volley of thin, red lasers, which bend and curve to try and reach the Saiyan. Though not as powerful as her ki blasts, they're probably faster, at least.

Unfortunately for the Magi, though, she can't fly. Her hoverboard is probably going to be a pretty obvious target. She has backup plans, but they won't keep her in the air forever.

Banjo (773) has posed:
Banjo flies through the sky without much fanfare, his baggy blue gi and antenna ruffling in the wind as he zooms along. Never before had he felt powers like this, something which both frightened and excited the youngster at the same time. What would he do when at the battle scene? Against such strong opposition? Fight? Stare? Flee? Time would tell!
As he closes in on the area, Banjo lands on the ground of the Valley proper, catching a glimpse of all those have gathered. He seems to suck in a breath, perhaps trying to calm himself for what is to come. So ignorant he is to the Multiverse, to everyone around. He has no idea who is who, nor what they represent. The roar of Smaug in particular catches across his bigger-than-normal ears, his skin shuddering in reaction. Where the heck had he landed?
    Was this Earth?
    And where was Dende?
Then the bombardment starts. Banjo can only watch as Zuki rains down her energy attacks, wincing at the destruction it causes underneath. He finds himself then bracing as the two titanic forces of Vegeta and Kakarot collide, swallowing again.
As people begin to go after the big bulky Saiyan on the ground, Banjo isolates the one floating in the air. With a breah, the young Namekian slowly rises into the air, various winds once again catching his frame. With a huff of effort, he pushes forward! Flying up and up, he rapidly approaches the ki master, beginning to build his own energy.
"Here we go." He murmurs to himself.

Cory (768) has posed:
Cory has been waiting for something to happen here. Not very eagerly, but it would... no doubting that. When the alert finally goes out, she's quick to come ROCKETING clear of the nearest warpgate and swerve at top speed for Fern Valley.

"Shit... can you feel that?!" Her passenger is being carried without complaint, but Deelel might be very uncomfortable at the speeds Cory's rocketing off at. They're going so fast it's nearing supersonic speed and the two are only 'comfortble' because of how much Ki Cory's radiating - it's thick enough to be visible as a white aura!

Fear mixes in with the exhilaration Cory's feeling to produce a rather twisted expression but she only speds up at what she's feeling.

Compared to many out there, she doesn't seem like much. One would have to wonder just WHAT she plans on doing when she does arrive.

Eventually she reaches the Valley and sets Deelel down at the edges of the conflict.

"Okay... now to figure out how to stop this.. they're going after FOOD?!"

Allo (724) has posed:
"You are really outstaying your welcome, Kakarot," Allo comments over the external transmitters of his ship as it speeds towards the Valley. "Not that you were ever welcome in the first place."

Despite a considerable amount of virilic towards Kakarot right now, the immeadiate danger to the life sustaining food source is at the foremost of Allo's mind. But the best way to deter the assault is to deter the attacker as well, and put an end to that ki bombardment.

Taking advantage of the fact that he's coming from overhead already while Zuki is aiming at the ground, Allo fires off a volley of energy shots from his ship's weapons, firing in a staccoto scattering pattern to try and limit the open space between the shots the Neo-Sayian will have to maneuver. Though it is hardly spray-and-pray, rather the spreadfire is very calculated in it's suppression tactic.

Allo always did pride himself on prefering precision over the more brutal and blunt methods of his rival.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
As Tarpits 3 tears over a freshwater lake, Rex orders the massive machine to "STOP!"

The hum of battle hovers over the imperiled valley while Rex stares at it, rolling black clouds spire up into the sky as the valley's precious fields burn up below "The Saiyans are busy ... someone's got to put those fires out!"

"Plesio! How much water can Tarpits 3 carry?" Rex barks.

"Umm, well, I've never tried ... I mean it issss theoretical that ..." Plesio starts.

"Enough! Get hoses into the water and take in as much as we can without scuttling the Tarpits! Quackpot, set course for 45000 feet above Fern Valley!"

Huge hoses descend from the massive mechanical T-Rex and begin draining the lake as fast as possible.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel looks up to see the elite team Kakarot has brought with him and debates whom to go after. Toma is being handled by Cell. So she'll leave the merc to collect his pay there. She eye Gaplan and is going to make for him, she does not pull the disc off her back but she's clealry tyring to close with him as she calls out to thelarge sayain warrior.

"Hey big guy, how well can you play the Game?!"

Cory (768) has posed:
Cory decides, ultimately, that going after ANY of the Super Saiyans is probably not a smart idea. Much as she wants to!

Instead of going head-to-head, she clears her mind and focuses, feeling out the paths of energy bolts raining down, and-- "HYAH!!"

Both arms start pumping out rapid shots of curving Ki blasts on intercept courses aiming to slam into the incoming shots and hopefully destabilize them for some brilliant midair fireworks!

Unfortunately with the oomph being put into the ones she's aiming at, this might not work too well.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Zuki sees Banjo start to rise towards her, but her masked face has little response, just a hiss of acknowledgement as she prepares her next attack. How much ki does she even /have/? Cory moves to intercept the bobmardment, but it's clear that Cory is only going to have an effect in a limited area if they want to stop the blasts from landing. Cory can choose between slwoing them down over a wide area or stopping them in a small one. Either way, several of the blasts detonate in impressive firework displays. It doesn't seem to be relevant at the moment as Krezentia unleashes an ambush from behind Zuki. Her eys flick to the side and Krez is greeted by a flash blast of ki even as her own Neuroi Laser strikes Zuki multiple times, the beams boring into her armor and leaving painful gashes in her blackened, cracked armor. She falls back, Allo immediately working to lock her down to keep her from continuing to bombard Reptilon's food. "Stu-stupid lizards, death is too good, too easy, too quick BUT SO MUCH FUN you are all going to paAAaaAAy for WHAT YOU DID!" She certainly doesn't have time with the volume of incoming fire.

The problem is that Zuki DOES have time to fire back. She strikes repeatedly, using blasts of ki to try to carve open holes in the incoming attack patterns through sheer volume of deadly force. There's no finesse here, simply retaliating with large, thick beams of ki as she tries to deal with this problem the direct way...

Or is there? As Zuki attempts to blast Krezentia, she suddenly swings the beam, attempting to turn it into a cutting laser when she takes a sudden shot for her hoverboard! "FALL DOWN!" Zuki screams.

The ground bulges under Gaplan as he begins tearing up something out of the ground. With a massive shudder, a huge boulder begins to surface, Gaplans' fingers punched into it to give him leverage on the huge thing.

But then Sanary interrupts. This doesn't keep Gaplan from continuing his work.

The flame, however, is another story. tough as Gaplan is, dragonfire is rough. The flames billow around him and scorch his armor, causing him to grunt in pain as he finds that there is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from flame and pain and death.

However, where most people would be reduced to a charred husk, Smaug finds that Gaplan is seared, his body scorched and blackened, but far from dead. He stands amidst spreading dragonfire, his hands locked around a burning boulder. with a wordless scream of defiance, he heaves, ripping the huge projectile from the ground and hurling it at Smaug. Hit or miss, the flaming boulder is going to go /somewhere/.

Deelel gets a swift response from Gaplan as she challenges him, however, as he lunges like a freight train for her and delivers a murderously powerful punch. She might want to dodgeroll this one.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Enough of trying to strengthen people for the time being, then. Yanking the gunaxe off her hip, Sanary stares slackjawed at the boulder being flung towards the dragon for a moment before refocusing on the more immediate threat: The Saiyan that threw that boulder in the first place.

"How did that even..?" Trying to chase after Gaplan would be a fool's task, especially with his assault aimed at the dragon and the woman in the strange bodysuit. Instead, Sanary restraps the bagpipe to her back before switching the Ice shells loaded in her weapon for the Bolt shells instead. The dragon appears to have fire covered, and ice would just melt in seconds, so that really only leaves her with that option for the time being.

"I'm over here, big guy!" She's practically trying to goad Gaplan into aiming at her as she rushes after him, taking an electrified swing at his back!

Banjo (773) has posed:
Up and up Banjo goes, short antenna blowing back across his green skull. With arms tucked neatly by his side, the young Namekian pushes his energy downwards, in turn making his flight up to meet Zuki a bit faster. When Zuki is attacked from behind, Banjo spots his opening. Ranged attacks won't work against this opponent. Not well, anyway! As a result, he opts to press in close to engage in straight melee combat, suddenly flying at maximum speed up towards the Saiyan Lieutenant as she is turned to counter Krezentia.
Banjo pours on the speed, closing the remaining distance between the two with well-practiced haste and precision. A rush of air will meet Zuki's back as Banjo arrives, the Namekian aiming to plant his foot directly into her back with a thunderous CRACK with all of his built momentum. Granted, it's a small foot! But there's definitely some energy and strength behind the blow. Banjo's teeth are gritted hard, eyes narrowed. Determined to come out victorious in his first ever live battle!

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Chaos reigns across Fern Valley as four Super Saiyans meet the combined forces of Union, confederacy, Syndicate, and more. The combined power is phenomenal, but the Neo-Saiyans have to have some kind of plan here, don't they?
5r...Don't they?

Toma reacts instantly when Cell moves, turning to strike at Cell, but it's too late. Cell is the product of mad genius, the combined traits of an innumerable number of experiments to forge a perfect warrior.

Well, his perfection is in question, but his effectiveness is not. Toma's arm is caught, and he gasps, yelling as Cell immediately begins negating Toma's main advantage. If he can't move, after all, he can't use his speed. Right?

Toma screams in pain as the hand and tail grip him, his bones creaking and twisting under slow, intense pressure. Even as a Super Saiyan, Toma seems unable to match Cell's capbilities. Toma is specialized. Cell is not.

What is it that people say about overspecialization and evolution?

Either way, Toma writhes in Cell's grip. "AGH! What are you doing? Let me go! COME ON! YOU GOTTA LET ME GO!" He yells, as he brings his legs up and begins trying to kick Cell away from him at high speed in desperation. He has his legs, he can try to make Cell let go!

Kakarot finds himself gripped by Vegeta. This doesn't seem like such a big deal until Vegeta vomits his rage on him in the form of ki. There is a yell of pain as Kakarot explodes straight downward, plowing into the ground of Fern Valley and cratering there from the insane amount of ki. Smoke wafts up from the crater, and Kakarot lies there, his armor shattered in a single blow from Vegeta. He lies there, staring at the sky with his arms and legs spread, his body shredded from the damage, blood dripping from multiple lacerations, as if parts of him began to disintegrate.

"Well then." Kakarot says, his grin growing /even wider/ as he stands up. "That's not very neighborly of you." He says in reply to Vegeta and Allo , with an infuriatingly Goku-like tone. "Don't you all even want to see the wonderful presents I've brought?"

A moment later, Kakarot vanishes, zweeing behind Vegeta and reaching out to grapple the Super Saiyan, his teeth clenched as he tries to fold Vegeta up into a full nelson. "Now I'm just going to need to give you a big /hug/." He replies. Is he /intentionally/ trying to set Vegeta off?

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
Fast. Of course she's fast. That's a Saiyan, not a Magi. Not a boring old human in armor. Krezentia uses her arms to cover herself from the initial volleys-- her sleeves get scorched and blown right off, her skin underneath not looking too much better. There's an armored bracer on her left hand; looks like fancy tech of some sort.

Sadly Zuki does not leave it at that. A blast curbes, and blows the hoverboard right out from under the Magi. She freefalls, until her hand reaches out. "Eins!" Platforms! Item 1. It's a simple black and gold platform, kept in the air perfectly still by purple-ish wings underneath. She grabs onto it with one hand, avoiding the rest of the fall.

"You're crazy, lady. Not that I can't appreciate some good old murder myself. Maybe tone down the MURDER MURDER MURDER HAHAHAHA, though!" Simple advice. Her hair, eyes and shirt change color again, all adopting a fiery red color, with the slightest flicker of actual flames in them.

    "SULFURAS!"

Krezentia launches herself off the platform, double-jumping to cover the gap to Zuki. In her hands forms a large, spiked two-handed hammer that seems to be made straight up of lava and fire held together in that form. She tries to slam Zuki with the thing, complete with a fireball proc on-hit, if she can manage it at all.

And then she'd fall again, right onto another Eins platform. She can have up to three up at a time, so she intends to use them.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
The hovering mechanical tyrannosaur drains a massive amount of water from the lake and hovers heavily in the air. Water trickles from its joints while the rear boosters strain against the added weight.

"She's not gonna take any more capt'n" Quackpot says in a scottish accent.

Rex snorts, "Rise!"

Plesio reviews data flying across his screens, "This is really taxing the boosters! I don't think we can make 45000 feet!"

"That won't stop us from trying! RISE!" Rex commands.

Slowly, Tarpits 3 ascends to the sky in a diagonal arc headed for an area directly above Fern Valley, it's boosters flare with brilliant yellow light, while its armor bloats and bows out in spots from the additional mass and weight.

Smaug (689) has posed:
The ire of this dragon is not something that will easily be extinguished. Heaving a flaming boulder at Smaug does cause the dragon a slight amount of alarm. While the fire does nothing to him, the weight of the rock clipping his backside forces Smaug to land, carving out a set of ruts in the ground as he brings himself to a stop. Without a word, Smaug comes around, a challenging roar echoes out, clearly directed at Gaplan. It's punctuated by another blast of flame! Something to distract the brute while these other two attack. Allies? This is a new experience..

Allo (724) has posed:
Success in getting her to pay more attention to them than to bombing the fields. Just that it means that Zuki is now firing at them as well. As skilled of a pilot as he is Allo can't evade his way throught he entire attack and several plumes of smoke flare from the exterior of the craft where it's hit.

All the same as he recovers from the hits and starts to come back for another pass, Allo notices the smaller form of Banjo flying towards Zuki and Krezentia leaping up her platforms, and quickly kills the firing sequence for the main guns.

The necessity of ending this assault quickly does -not- mean he should be risking shooting his own allies.

Instead Allo leaves the targetting on Zuki but slows his approach just a bit, letting the other two attacks play out first. Waiting until Zuki is potentially reeling from them and trying to recover.

THEN he throttles the thrusters to full power to rush towards the Neo-Sayain. As the ship does so Allo pulls on another lever and takes another advantage of the advanced technology designed into their ships.

That the front end of his spaceship opens up just like the jaws of a large carnosaur, complete with serrated 'teeth' around the edges sharpened to an almost molecular-thin sharp edge. It's designed to be able to chomp through the armor of bulkier Tyranno ships, and now he's swooping in to try and chomp down on Zuki instead.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel has been doing well enough in fights to know? You don't try to tank someone like Gaplan no, you got to play a deadly game of keepaway with him she drops and rolls away from him just narrowing missing the freight train posing as the man's fist.

"Not one for talk are you big guy?!"

Deelel's got a plan but she needs to get a better feel for the big fighter. Still with him on her? He's not doing anything else now is he?

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"Squie Squad!" a purple squid suddenly yells as -five- multi-colored squid people in Saiyan armor enter the range of the battle, none of them wearing scouters. "They'll regret not taking their scouters off!" he shouts as they all land onto the ground, scouting out Banjo. They are -going- to find a good moment to capture that Namekian. Those things are notorious healers!

Meanwhile, ten Saiyans lead an army of what is now 95. Once they enter the range of the battle, well... about 100 scouters start bursting one by one, causing a shower of glass to fall to the ground. But they immediately get to work, offering aid with protecting the crops, and rescuing where needed.
"Fight me like a man, Kakarot!" Vegeta shouts as he's captured into that hold. He doesn't immediately break it, though he -is- straining to keep his limbs from breaking or slipping out of socket. "I've allowed you to fight each and every Saiyan who wanted to challenge you, I've allowed them all a chance to test themselves against my better advice. Now... -now- I show them what sets me apart. -Now- I force your hand, I will not allow you to hold back, I will push you to the limits of your very existence!"

"I will show you the power I've been holding back, the power I gained -just for you-!" He suddenly starts powering up, not holding back, not bothering to contain his energy into a finely honed knife. He wants Kakarot to -taste- it, he wants Kakarot to struggle to even stay -near- him. He wants everyone on the planet to know, everyone -here- to know. Everyone to witness just what it is to be the King of all Saiyans.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Vegeta begins to power up, allowing the sky to darken, thunder and lightning to roll across the clouds, winds to pick up as weather systems are temporarily disrupted. His voice echos through the area, hair flashing a rigid, lighter golden, aura bursting out from his body far more than is even necessary. If Kakarot were a lesser man, he'd have vaporized, but Vegeta knows that this will only -encourage- him.

Electricity arcs across his body, and he just smiles. "I'm not done yet." Another roar, and he's powering up even more. It's hard to say if he'll ever -stop- powering up. "When I'm done, Kakarot, if you're still at the level you are now, YOU WILL DIE!"

Cell (696) has posed:
Toma doesn't know it, but he literally owes his life to Serori right at this moment. In the course of the moment, as Toma's foot caught Cell's stomach and knocked the monster backwards (and, more importantly, tore open his tuxedo), Serori made a bargain that Cell frankly hadn't expected her to make. These Saiyans mean more to her than he could ever have expected.

And that was fine. As Cell rights himself and tears off the remains of his tuxedo, discarding it like weighted training gear, he pops his shoulder and tilts his head, his freakish eyes wide with glee. That was fine. Sometimes you had to give up what you wanted *right now* to get what you wanted /later/. Much later.

Oh, but in the end, it was all part of the plan. It was all part of the future. Of the future Cell would carve in stone and bone and flesh. For that future...

Well, Serori was right. He was twisted. He would do anything to accomplish his ambitions.

Cell flicks his cigar away, letting it tumble to the ground. Anticipation, that was the trick. Just like he'd learned to bend his drives to his own whim, he'd bend his hunger, too. He could eat later. He didn't have to eat a Super Saiyan to get a Super Saiyan thrill. And he didn't have to *kill* a Saiyan to get a meal.

     And...

And she didn't specify Toma had to be conscious. Or *whole*.

     Heh. Heh. Heh.

Cell surges forward, the hole in his stomach from Toma's kick filling in like a balloon. Sure, it hurt. Sure, it was unpleasant. But Cell could take the pain. Cell could handle the pain.

For Cell this was a series of delightful little games that ultimately ended up with him winning the big, big pot.

Cell splits in half. The Multi-Form Technique wasn't exactly dangerous, except where it halved the user's power - but in this specific case, Cell didn't particularly care. The horrible bug-monsters surge at Toma, snapping outwards to grab him by the arms.

A third Cell appears up in the Saiyan's face, pruning off from the other two.

"I've always wanted to test something," Cell hisses delightedly, raising his fingers in front of him, "You seem tough enough to take it."

     "Let's do some science, monkey."

Cell's life energy gathers in his hands. As Vegeta explodes into SSJ2, so too does Cell's power spike monstrously, the ghosts howling around all three of them. But because it's thirded...his actal power level is masked, beautifully.

     Cell's mandibles part.

     "I always liked Tien."

And then, with the care and precision of a surgeon and a torturer combined, Cell begins the crushing pressure of the Tri-Beam. A second Tri-Beam crushes from his other hand.

Slowly, delightedly, with clear and obviously sadistic glee, Cell drags the beams along Toma's body. Right up towards his eyes.

Cory (768) has posed:
With a question on the radio turning out fruitless and her efforts being as useless as originally thought. Surrounded by surging powers that dwarf hers, she's frozen momentarily with indecision. What's even the point of being here? She'll just get crushed!

But fear doesn't rule her. Flying around everywhere above... are the pinnacle of her race, warriors of legend. She may never get another chance!

And up there she spots something odd... "What's a Namekian doing here?! ... They're pretty young..." A kid Namekian against a Super Saiyan?

"Maybe if we team up... that'll work!"

Focusing inwards she draws on her Ki... and focuses it into a raging storm within! Shoving down she vaults up into the skies, swallowing down the fear while focused on Zuki.

"KAIOKEN TIMES EIGHT!" When she's just halfway there, these charged words thunder out. The white light swirling around her becomes a crimson display - and UP she goes, aiming to deliver a solid elbow into Zuki's gut!

A blow that'll transition swiftly into a series of gut punches and a double-handed energy beam to the gut intended to push Zuki away.

"can't believe we're up against anything like this!"

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The funny thing about pain is it's always worse if you stop in the middle. That's why you rip bandaids off all at once. Toma is not having a whole-bandaid day. He is on the verge of breaking free when Cell comes back, suddenly using his full power to counteract the lessening effect of the Multi-Body technique. Toma is once again seized, and left entirely at the mercy of an inhuman monster.

Cell was never really known for his mercy when it wasn't to his profit. Especially when Saiyans were involved.

Toma struggles against the grip of the Cells, but he just can't leverage the strength against the colossal power there.

The Tri-Beams begin friting, incomprehensible pressure bearing down from /two/ of them. His flesh ripples, his armor instantly shattering off and blasting away in the intense effort to simply resist being pulverized. Toma's shrieks of pain echo across the battlefield as bones crumple and snap under the pressure, his ribs breaking, his throat almost crumpling as his eyes gain flashing spots, the blood flow cut off to his brain for several seconds from the devastating force, ans his face distends impossibly, teeth cracking and breaking, jaw coming unhinged and dislocating with a pop as those beams move towards those soft, delightful, jelly-like eyes.

This is going to get ugly.

Cell (696) has posed:
"You know what the best part is," Cell hisses in Toma's ears - both of them, from all three of his multi-bodies - with that horrible, buzzing insect voice. The beams stop right next to Toma's eyes, moving slowly around them with all the menace of a shark about to feed.

"The best part is that I'm not allowed to kill you. See, to Colonel Serori, you're worth more alive than dead. They want to rehabilitate you. /Save/ you from yourselves. From the 'big bad tyrant.'"

     "Because the truth is."

"The truth is that your people are so goddamned deluded they think that they're helping you."

"I bet you want me to kill you," Cell murmurs, his tail swinging around and slowly driving up and into Toma's stomach - and both shoulderblades - like a great and awful hypodermic needle, "I bet if you could talk you'd be screaming 'make it stop. Make it stop. Stop. Kill me. Please. Kill me.'"

"But I can't!" Cell's triple voice lets out a buzzing, insectile cackle that rocks around the battlefield, "I'm not allowed to kill you. The chance to brainwash you and feel better about themselves is so goddamned important that they're willing to let me keep you alive as long as I possibly can, and I even get a profit out of it."

If Cell had a tongue, he would lick his lips. As it is, the pressing, crushing force slides back towards Toma's eyes once again, slowly, slowly, ever-so-slowly. The three tails begin to drink.

That horrible, awful noise breaks across the battlefield in triplicate. Slurp.

     Slurp.

     Slurp.

     Slurp.

     Slurp.

As Toma is drunk, from the inside out, and the Tri-Beams move across his face, shattering and popping and doing all sorts of nasty damage, it is entirely likely that he has never and will never feel an agony like this in the whole of his life. There may not be much left of him to recover.

But there will be life. Oh, Cell will make /damned/ sure of that.

     There will be life.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Tarpits 3's infrastructure strains and creaks from the immense water pressure inside, a cacophony of warning alarms and readings pound the saurian pilots inside the command center, making coherent thought nearly impossible.

Plesio screams to Rex, but is barely heard, "THISSSS ISSS TOO MUCH! THE SSSSSHIP'SSSS GOING TO FALL APART!"

"MAINTAIN COURSE!" Rex erupts!

Tarpits 3's boosters begin to smoke and flicker as it strains and struggles to meet its target ... auxiliary boosters kick in, but the glowing arc reactor at its center begins to fade from the tremendous output.

"45,000 feet Bossasaur!" Ankylo yells!

Rex nods and presses an ominous looking red button on his console, the belly of Tarpits 3 opens and out comes its watery payload. Millions of gallons of water, hitting the atmosphere as a torrent and dispersing over the area as the massive battle station cruises along.

Below, an artifical monsoon has just hit Fern Valley.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Tarpits continues on its quest in order to save Fern Valley from the terrifying flames beginning to consume portions of it. Smoke roils through the air, smelling of charred plant life... and sometimes other things. The question, though, is how much water will help. Can water stop dragonfire?

Zuki has no care for such questions. The growing devastation suits her just fine. However. "Do you understand how it feels? To be reduced to this by /stupid lizards/? They're going to BURN. ALL OF THEM!" She shrieks, raising her hands to prepare to catch Krezentia in a swift point-blank ki detonation.

But then Banjo makes it all fall apart. the impact knocks her forward, with a yelp, leaving her wide open for Allo to shear into her with those monomolecular teeth! Amor is carved away and her Super siayan body bleeds, Zuki shrieking as she unloads a desperate barrage at point blank to keep from losing a limb. "GAPLAN! WHERE ARE YOU?" She yells. "Damn lizards. Do you even understand? You don't, do you? Because you're all /scales/. I am going to teach you-" Pause. "Kaioken times what?"

WHAMMO. The empowered gutpunch foldz Zuki over cory's fist like cardboard from the sudden impact, leaving her wide open for the COMBO FINISHER from Krezentia. The Hammer of Sulfuras comes down with fiery, murderous force, blasting Zuki straight downwards like a meteorite to crater into the ground, putting another huge dent into the landscape.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Deelel has a good idea on how to deal with Gaplan. Keep out of reach and he won't break you in half. The problem seems to be actually keeping away from him, as he simply lashes out with a fist at anythign within reach, propelling it towards Deelel at high speed. Trees, tractors, large rocks, fence posts, whatever.

Sanary's shocking attack cracks into his back, the axe blade sinking into armor as he arches his back, yelling wordlessly as he is shocked from the magitechnological axe. With a grunt, he turns, grabbing onto Sanary, as she made a critical tactical error, defined as 'getting in arms' reach'. Just as he is about to smash Sanary, however, he gets a better idea. This is because Smaug breathes at him again. He holds up Sanary, using her as a human shield to take the brunt of the blast instead.

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
Oh that is a shit ton of water.

As Krezentia rests on one of her platforms, she considers herself lucky the Saiyan went crashing down without wrecking the things keeping her airborne.

Her hair and shirt turn black, while her eyes turn amber. Sulfuras disappears, replaced by a primitive metallic spear, as well as a black and amber spell circle under her. She's charging up this weapon, unlike the prior two. She adopts a stance-- and then.

    "SPRUNGLANZE!"

    JUMP.

    Absurdly high. Out of sight.
And then right back DOWN, spear aimed downward. But the weapon isn't aimed for Zuki. The spear itself will crash into the ground next to the Saiyan. Krezentia will be landing on the Saiyan if she can help it, though. It'll probably hurt, but Zuki's a Saiyan. She far, far outweights the Magi in a physical contest. That's fine! She's not trying to smash her bones, or even kill her. Nope. Just trying to place her free hand onto her head, for something more important to her than harming this woman.

    "MAGI-ABSORB!"

Omnom. Nowhere near as disgusting as Cell, thank god.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel takes note as Sanary is also playing a bit of diversion duty too, this gme of keepaway just got a bit easier with some help thankully and she's going to do what she cna to help her. Then comes a big honken Dragon, whose adding to the mix with some well placed firebreath. She's going to make use of that and now she's got a heck of a lot of stuff comming at her. This is where she stops playing around so muchn and a strange weapon appears in her hand, she's not figured out how to use all of what it can do by far, however it's faily good at knocking things out of the way. She takes the keyblade known as Duel Disc, and she start using it to deflect some of the things coming for her, and she's dodging the rest hopefully Sanary and Smaug will be able to do and then things go bad as he grabs Sanara.

The Basic does not care if Sanary is a fed or not at the moment, She hopefully has a moment to let her jet in there and try to smack Gaplan with the keyblade hopefully hard enough from behind to make him drop her.

Banjo (773) has posed:
The ascension that Vegeta performs is enough to cause Banjo to spin and whirl in that direction, staring at the Saiyan Prince with wide eyes. They were already at levels of power he had not even thought close to possible. Now that had somehow doubled it. Tripled it? Even more! The distraction is enough to break his concentration from the battle at hand, attention away from Zuki and up at the main event happening.
    Naïve, it turns out.
But thankfully, he doesn't pay the price on this occasion. The combination against Zuki sends her crashing down into the ground with a thud, Banjo looking down into the crater with an adrenaline fuelled breath. A glance goes to the others around him, perhaps out of curiosity. A small smile graces his mouth as he just nods to Cory, Krez and Allo. Obviously with little idea on who they are, but seeming thankful regardless. "Good combination." He speaks, voice sounding as innocent and young as he looks.
Steadying his breath, just enough to have a look up at Cell, his antenna twitch. Then just watches as Krez attacks /again/. Banjo watches, playing the patient game for now.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Okay so it's been a while since Rebound showed up. Turns out she was maybe a bit further away from the fight than she thought. Coupled with her having to stop several times to help save civilians from burning buildings or that were about to fall into craters, Rebound finally gets to where the fight proper is. Turns out there's only one she can get to.

It's that same guy, the one who she fought on the ship. Maybe this will be a good chance to get some payback after all, who knows. He looks like he's already distracted with the rest of the group. Seeing the dragon breathing fire, she takes a second to compose herself before she goes in, so she can make sure she doesn't get caught in that.

As soon as the fire breath clears, she leaps in, flying to try to drive herself into Gaplan with both feet in a flying dropkick, "Hey jackass, remember me?!" She calls out as she drives in, trying to smash him with her paws the way she did the last time they faced off.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Water falls from the sky, drenching everything and extinguishing many fires. The cleansing power of water from the Tarpits III proves to be some form of relief from th encroashing devastation.

Kakarot, meanwhile, struggles with Vegeta. He presses down brutally, attempting to crush Vegeta under his hands. Most opponents would have been beaten handily by this methodology, especially when Kakarot is exerting terrifying, bone-crushing force.

But Vegeta is no normal opponent. The power begins to rise from Vegeta, Kakarot's golden hair blowing back from the waves of energy from Vegeta. There is an intense power that Kakarot stares into, his scouter crackling and exploding from his face as he uses his power to maintain his grip. "IMPRESSIVE, VEGETA! THIS MIGHT BE A FIGHT AFTER ALL!" Vegeta knows it. Kakarot knows it. He wants to feel that power. Taste what Vegeta claims he can use to gain supremacy.

The lightning bolts crash down, and Kakarot falls back, not because of the lightning, but because he hangs there, watching Vegeta's power level grow. "Very well." He says, simply. "But this is what you asked for. Remember this. This is what you wanted."

BGM SHIFT: https://www.youtube.<span style="color:om/watch?v=WFplIleCuVg

cxterm221">Kakarot</span> spreads his hands, raising them to the torrential downpour, and lets go.

Kakarot's own power level begins to skyrocket, the rage burning through his mind as his aura warps, crackling changing frequency as golden bolts of lightnign shake and shudder through it, powering to levels beyond mere Super Saiyan.

There is a terrifying explosion as Kakarot screams, raw energy coruscating around him in a consuming vortex of destruction. Even the distrant ground begins to shudder, rocks rising into the sky and gradually disintegrating under the overwhelming pressure.

Below, Gaplan looks up at the blooming golden star, and grunts, looking to the fallen Zuki. With a howl, he hurls Sanary to the side, not caring as Deelel cleaves into him, opening up a terrible, looking wound. Dorpkicking Gaplan is kind of like dropkicking a wall, however. But this time, the dropkick wins for a moment. He stumbles, but does not retaliate against Deelel or Rebound. He has something else he has to do. With a yell, he leaps towards the crater where Zuki fell. whee Krezentia is absorbing Zuki's power and learning to use it for her own. He doesn't even pause as he swats out with a hand, using the other to scoop Zuki up and cradle her almost tenderly in one huge arm. He looks in the distance to where Toma howls in pain, being devoured by Cell...

And turns away, leaping again to begin escaping the area with Zuki in his arms.

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
Before she even has a chance to swap to her new toy and try it out, Krezentia gets Gaplanted. The swat sends her flying, crashing into the mud and plants a few times before coming to a stop. Now she's wet, muddy, and that might be a broken arm. Honestly, she's more pissed about the wet and muddy part. Damn that downpour.

The Magi decides to just lay there in the mud for a while, at least until she stops seeing stars. That was extremely unfair! Though of more pressing concern than the fact a huge tanky Saiyan just swatted her might be the fact Kakarot is powering up and illuminating the place like a tiny star.

Yeah that looks like bad news.

    "Fucking. Ow."

At least she hit soil and mud, not concrete.

Allo (724) has posed:
"The only thing more obnoxious than your belligerance is your ignorance," Allo retorts flatly at the constant insulting of his people simply because they're reptilian and scaled. You deal with the likes of Genghis Rex and Co. for as long as the Dinosaucers did and you learn to make a quip or two no matter how rediculous the fight may be.

Battle commentary aside, the jaw mechanism is straining hard to keep hold on the Neo-Saiyan's tremendous strength. There's systems starting to redline from overheating even before Zuki starts firing ki blast point blank at it. That several of them finally blast the upper portion of the ship-jaws to pieces is just rubbing it it.

Unfortunately one of the chunks of mechanism actually arcs over the length of the ship and impacts right into the rear engine section, taking out an entire thruster and damaging the anti-gravity generators as well. Allo has just long enough to make sure the ship is pointed somewhere it won't compile on top of the existing damage before blowing the cockpit hatch off to climb out and bail.

A few moments later he lands on the now somewhat soggy ground (good job with the water Rex), unbothered by mud squishing between his toe-talons. "Good use of momentum," he replies to Banjo, watching Krez do... something to Zuki. Is that an attack or something else? He's not entirely sure. And then Gaplan bombasts in to grab Zuki afterwards. Allo pulls out his blaster, but when it's clear he's fleeing with her instead of trying to attack farther he refrains from firing.

Instead her turns and walks over, offering Krezentia a helping talon up once she's ready to get back on her feet. "And nice maneuver with those portals. We would of never had the time to mount our defensive effectively without that counter-strike."

There's still the Kakarot/Vegeta fight raging overhead. Distressing in its own right, but as usual Allo is more concerned for allies first and formost.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
A confident grin crosses Sanary's face as the axe actually breaks through the armor, putting her weight into the weapon just to push it in as far as she can. Getting grabbed certainly puts damper on that, however, and she tries to scrunch herself up as much as possible in Gaplan's hold while circulating the magical energy inside her to try and put off her impending death for even a second longer..

And then something strange happens. The fire is certainly painful, but it's... Slow? She can feel her flesh burning in several places at once, sure, but the healing magic accelerating her healing process actually manages to mitigate the burning-to-death issue. Is it the armor? It has to be the armor.

Still, it's not as if she can really do much about being used as a shield, and there's only so long she can keep that up. Thankfully, she does get released before the fire consumes her entirely (even if it is in the form of being tossed aside and getting stuck in the mud). The healer stays down for a short while, pushing herself up just enough just to survey what's actually going on in a daze. "The f... Wha..? Ugh. Can't stay like this all day."

It's almost nostalgic laying in the mud like that. Still, it can't last forever, and Sanary soon forces herself onto her feet unsteadily. She staggers unsteadily towards where Krezentia had landed, nearly falling face-down into the mud again as she staggers to a stop.

"Easy. I got ya. We're... Still alive, see?" She tries to sound reassuring while circulating that healing magic into her hands, then into the woman in front of her.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Squie Squad are starting to create a parameter around the Zuki fight. A -wide- parameter, they don't want to get tied up in that. Squie speaks over a simple walkie talkie, "That little Namekian is tough, we've gotta let the Super Saiyan wear him down first! But keep the parameter. And get the net capsule ready."

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Vegeta laughs like a mad man as Kakarot powers up. He's perhaps forgotten the mission, forgotten his orders, forgotten -everything-. All there is, all that exists... is Kakarot.

He bursts forward, shrouded in wild golden ki. He doesn't fire anything, he doesn't use any tricks, he simply starts -punching. He punches and kicks in such volume that once these two have a single exchange of blows, it will be more punches and kicks than a one-hundred fights between normal men!

Each blow will, blocked, met, or otherwise landed, will create a shockwave, a crack of sound that shoots through the air like thunder. Gusts of wind that don't come from the weather, but from the center of these two titans exchanging blows. "SHOW ME, SHOW ME THE ROOT OF YOUR CONFIDENCE, SHOW ME WHAT FILLS YOU WITH THE ARROGANCE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO BELIEVE YOU EVEN DESERVE THE PRIVILEGE OF MY PRESENCE!!!"

Cell (696) has posed:
The deluge of water comes pouring down over Toma and the Cells. It splashes across wounds, likely adding pressure to areas that had just had a moment's reprieve.

There is no mercy in Cell. There is no kindness. He wasn't programmed for Mercy, or Kindness, or Gentility. He was programmed to kill, to cause suffering, to make people hurt and hurt and hurt.

Under the lightning and fury of the Super Saiyan and the pouring rain, whatever is being done to Toma is mercifully shrouded.

A few moments later, Cell lands. He deposits Toma - blind, drained, probably shrieking, limbless, tailless (surgically removed, in fact - it's never coming back), cauterized, and likely mad with pain - alive with the rest of the Confederacy. Even if Toma manages to pull Zenkai out of this, he may never be sane enough to use it.

The letter of the law. But not the spirit.

His tail swings up as he slowly starts to rebuilding his tuxedo, watching Vegeta and Kakarot begin their fight. His eyes flick around at the rest of the allies as he produces and lights up another cigar.

     "Well this was fun."

Smaug (689) has posed:
There's little care in Smaug's features when his blast of flame strikes Sanary instead of his target. In fact, the only emotion that shows is when Gaplan seems to 'flee'. While it isn't the truth of the situation, the dragon's anger rushes up and comes out in another roar of frustration when Gaplan flees with Zuki in tow.

Cory (768) has posed:
'Don't push your luck' might be the phrase of the day.

And Cory's totally going to pay it NO MIND at this very moment.

"You haven't seen ANYTHING yet!" The slim warrior states, grinning impishly at the namekian kid. She executes a fancy little twirl in midair that isn't at all useless, because she used it to mask bringing both hands down to her side, palms now cupped. She's already breathing hard from the effort of controlling Kaioken, but... against a Super Saiyan, what choice does she have?

Her focus goes back to hours of training, and it's quickly brought into practice again! "Ka... Me... Ha... Me...."

Power surges and churns between her palms, compressed and squeezed into a tight sphere... only to be flung forwards the moment that Krezentia's done with Zuki!

    "HAAAAAA!!"

Hardly the best way the technique's ever been used, but a mighty beam curves upwards towards Zuki's stomach at the first clear moment!

"What brings YOU out here? Aren't you a little young for a Namek?!"

Well, not much younger than she is...

Deelel has posed:
Deelel sees that Gaplan is fleeing with Zuki now and she's going to let him run. She does see the care that Gaplan shows to Zuki before he flees. He'll let the pair go, she turns to see what's left it's just Kakarot who is that which remains here she tries to not think about Toma there's nothing she can do at this point, or can she? She stares in mute horror at Cell's actions. She looks for a moment and she banishe her blade, she needs to talk Allo, Rex and Serori she thinks...she very much needs to talk to them about this. She now looks for where she can do things to /help/.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot and Vegeta meet in the center of the sky, the shockwaves blasting out from each other and scattering the drenching downpour. Both are given to their rage, the joy of slaughter, the screaming glory of destruction. Kakarot's smile is ever-present as he slams straight into Vegeta with tintanic force. Moments after the first echange of blows, he blurs, vanishing from his positioon. Vegeta might expect the old flash-step back attack, but Kakarot appears two feet upwards, driving his fists down in a horrific haymaker. The impact spears Vegeta towards the ground, and Kakarot doesn't even let up, punches nad kicks blurring on him even as the pair impact the ground, the earth rippling, cracking, and upheaving around them.

Kakarot doesn't even expect something like merely HITTING THE GROUND at such speeds to even /faze/ Vegeta, as he spins, golden ki balls manifesting around his hands as he lets loose a complicates series of deadly, scything lashing ki strikes, drving forwards to attempt to straight up carry the battlefield the length of Fern Valley the wall of the crater, leaving destruction in his wake.

Meanwhile, Cory turns and tries to Kamehameha Zuki as Gaplan escapes with her. He looks up at the massive ki beam, and he turns, shielding Zuki with his body. The impact is colossal, exploding his thick, reinforced blue armor off of him and opening terrible wounds across his body.

He bears the pain without uttering a word. Standing, he staggers, contiuing to hold Zuki tight as he continues to escape, trailing blood.

Rebound (750) has posed:
She kicks the Saiyan and drops to the ground, and no sooner does she do that but he takes off to go rescue the other, "Oh come on!" She yells, jumping back to her feet, "I just got here and you're running?! This is bullshit!"

How is she supposed to fight people if they just run off as soon as she gets there. Sure she was probably going to get her butt kicked, but she's never going to get better if she doesn't fight people better than her, "Hrmph." She guesses they won, at least. That has to count for something. Plus now it's raining, so she's getting soaked.

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
    Healing! Healing is nice.

Sanary gets the Magi back on her feet. Her arm clicks and whirrs-- she's bleeding, but if the healer took a good look, it doesn't have QUITE the same consistency as blood. Looks like it, but isn't actually blood. Thankfully, healing magic isn't usually picky about this stuff, so robot, human, robot-human hybrid, doesn't really matter.

"Ugh, thanks. Fuck, that guy hit like a truck. Who the fuck set you on fire?" Considering the Saiyans weren't exactly carrying flamethrowers, it's odd to see the healer with that sort of damage on her. Unless she rolled around in the flaming fields. "Didja start rolling around the flaming fields?" Better ask, you never know. Some people are weird.

The fight between Kakarot and Vegeta seems to be kicking into overdrive-- shockwaves and wind keep the Magi on her feet, and her eyes solidly locked on the clash. It's a great watch, Cell is right.

Banjo (773) has posed:
Slowly yet surely, Banjo begins to lower himself through the air. Not only to put some distance between himself and the epic fight going on above, but just to get a better bearing on what is going on. It appeared the Saiyan Lieutenants were fleeing the scene, meaning the enemies were gone. Rotating his neck, Banjo puts hands on his hips. With the danger so far up ahead, he relaxes a little bit. He had no clue who was fighting above. And to be sure, he wasn't sure he wanted to even know the answer.
The small Namekian appears oblivious to Vegeta's people surrounding him in a wide scope, as Banjo finally looks up to take in the battle of Kakarot and Vegeta proper. Cell can be caught in this field of view too, though Banjo seems uninterested in looking at the bio-android for too long. Even the dragon is barely given a glance, despite such a sight being so strange and unusual to him.
Wait. Someone was speaking to him! "Oh. Uh, sorry." Banjo greets Cory, looking to the female Saiyan before he bows politely. "I came to earth looking for Dende. He's the Guardian. Do you happen to know where he is? You can call me Banjo."

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Tarpits 3 hovers above Fern Valley, smoke pouring out of its underside, but its arc reactor flares a bright yellow now that its enormous payload has been dispersed.

Rex slumps in his seat, watching the fires die down on his control module.

"We need to land, Bossasaur!" Ankylo says, "We've got more damage to Tarpits than we have diagnostics systems!"

Rex mutters, as he watches the battle between Vegeta and Kakarot rage on, "Take us down .."

*KLANG!* Tarpits suddenly shook violently as something sizable bounced off its outer hull, warning systems started blaring again!

"WHAT IN THE GREAT EGG WAS THAT!?" Rex yells, having fallen out fo his command chair.

"It'sssss ok, I got it." Plesio hisses.

Below - The huge shadow of Tarpits 3 evelopes the ground, hovering over Allo and the startled farmers, who work to put out and lingering plumes of fire. the battle station sets down in an area burned clean of foliage, turning its saurian head to Allo.

"You lost this." Rex's voice echoes over the loudspeaker as Allos ship is unceremoniously dropped to the ground.

The battlestation turns its head to the sky and the battle that rages above.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta is at least -stunned- enough to get caught by the ki blasts that start coming after him. He tries to get out of the way, but they start cutting through his armor, leaving slashes over his arms, causing him to cry out in pain... and then RAGE.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" He powers out of the crater, flying toward Kakarot as he holds a single hand out to him. Kakarot tried to slash him, so Vegeta starts firing very -long- beams, thin and golden with spiked tips. They're incredibly solid, and there are -dozens- of them, trying to stab Kakarot to death in the worst way possible.

And then, just, without any real warning, he thrusts his -other- hand, and just unleashes a gigantic torrent of energy. No technique, just a ridiculous well of energy that doesn't need to be harnessed into -anything-. All he does is -release- it after those refined spikes, trying to consume Kakarot's body into that bright glow of energy if he doesn't get stabbed to death first!

"Know this, Kakarot. I DO NOT FEAR YOU, NOR WILL I ALLOW ANYONE ELSE TO FEAR YOU EVER AGAIN!!!"

Allo (724) has posed:
"I do not," Allo replied to Banjo with a shake of his head. "Nor is this Earth. You've found your way onto a planet known as Reptilon. In middle of an invasion."

Allo, on the other claw, is a bit more wary of the situation. Including the other people trying to circle around Banjo. To which he just gives a stern glare while crossing his arms. "I'd highly suggest you don't start any -more- trouble. I am not in a very pleasant mood."

Cue the busted remaining portion of his ship thudding to the ground behind him. Allo tilts his head just enough to glance towards the Tarpits without taking his eyes off the Squide Squad. "Thanks, Rex."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Heh. Yeah, even fighting him for the second time was... Geh. Not fun." Sanary eases up on the healing magic going into Krezentia somewhat to let some of that sweet, sweet regenerating energy circulate through her burn wounds. She's still keeping some of it flowing into the vaguely robotic human, slumping a bit just to give herself a chance to catch her breath.

"Hey, hey. I'm not /that/ dumb. Dragon. The big guy freaking... Grabbed me and used me like a shield. Wasn't as hot as I thought it'd be, though." She still sounds surprised as she says that, and just a little bewildered by what could have kept her alive. The armor seems to be the culprit here, but... She can test it later.

For now, there's that fight to watch. It's certainly impressive, but being below is still somewhat worrying. "Uh... Uch. Should we keep firing or..?" She raises the gunaxe briefly, gesturing at the barrel on the handguard weakly as she does so.

Banjo (773) has posed:
Banjo looks to Allo with an expression of shock. "How is that possible? The ship was programmed to go to Earth with a special set of co-ordinates. How could I have possibly have ended up somewhere else?" Confusion! So much confusion. "I need to get back to my ship and find out what's happened. Maybe something broke?" Twitching the short antenna that stick out from the upper reaches of his forehead, the Namekian throws his senses around, trying to get a feel for other beings. But with the epic fight happening above, it's difficult to focus.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Were the others attacking him, Kakarot would spare effort to do something about them. It is impossible to tell if this is wisdom or not. Perhaps together they could outmatch even this. Oer perhaps by attacking him and taking his attention off of the battle... It would simply result in far greater devastation. But it is impossible to tell.

For now, there is only Vegeta to deal with. Kakarot spins as the ki lances strike for him, and he screams out, "GOLDEN COLLAPSING STAR!"

There is a low hum as ki builds around him, flaring up.... And then exploding outwards in a shockwave, like someone lit a bomb of ki in a point blank range. the ki spears strike into the sphere, attempting to punch through and seek out Kakarot's flesh.

When the sphere fades, Kakarot is standing on a small pillar of rock, the area around him carved out and vaporized. Several of the spears punch have punched through him, dropping blood to the ground.

But he still moves. He looks up, facing the oncoming destruction with a smile. "Perhaps you should, Vegeta. Fear is a healthy emotion. It helps you focus. Remainds you of loss, what you could lose at any time. It's what held you back before... But you've forgotten that lesson already. That's very... Vegeta of you."

He brings his hands back and takes a strange stance, hands forming into almost clawlike appearance. "It's time to end this."

Ki erupts around him, bright yellow-gold and flaring with overwhelming force as Kakarot launches himself towards the oncoming blast, doing nothing to evade it.

"WOLF FAAAAAAAAAAAANG..."

Wait. What? Isn't that /Yamcha's/ move? The ki around Kakarot explodes into a massive golden wolf, howling as he slams into the oncoming blast wave. For several seconds, the ki waves clash, the air between them surging and annihilating as shards of power leak out and scatter, ripping through the air without rhyme or reason. Electricity crackles between the two battling titans...

And then the wolf breaks through, Kakarot turning to slam towards Vegeta with a spinning kick, following it up with innnumerable, bone-crushing strikes as he continues to drive Vegeta upwards... And he pulls his hands back for the finisher. This is where Yamcha would slam into his target with a double thrusting punch attack.

Kakarot has other plans. Ki builds in his hands, and THEN he thrusts them forward, not as a punch, but..

"KAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Fern Valley can be happy that Kakarot is shooting upwards right now, as the finishing strike of the Wolf Fang Fist is chained into a devastating Super Saiyan 2 level Kamehameha.

Cell (696) has posed:
Cell's sole contribution is to laugh his horrible, knowing, buzzing insect laugh and take a drag of his cigar as he files away that trick for future improvement.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"What the hell is that?!" Vegeta says when there's a sudden ki wolf. He's not prepared, he wasn't -at all- prepared how relentless things got all at once. He's torn apart, knocked around, bones crack, more of his jumpsuit is torn away. But that last part, that last part, he -knows- what's coming, and he knows that there's only one thing he can do!

His hands draw back in a manner similar to Kakarot's, and then he thrusts them forward just as Kakarot thrusts his. "GALICK GUN!!!" he shouts, and a -huge- beam of gold with a purple hue dumps from his hands, colliding with Kakarot's. The force thrusts him even further into the air. Blood dripping down his body, down his hands, but he continues dumping his energy into it.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" he pushes, and pushes, but Kakarot had more time, he was prepared. Vegeta barely had a chance to prepare this attack, Kakarot got him...

Goddamnit.

The kamehameha takes his beam, pushing him back, and then slams directly into his body, sending him high into the sky, into the atmosphere.

History is repeating itself. though to what extent...

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Galick Gun. A weapon of mass destruction if there ever was one. Were Kakarot more prepared, he might have done something terrible had he sees Vegeta line that up.

But this is enough. Bleeding, breathing heavily as Vegeta is blasted into space, he turns to look over the battlefield for a long second, at the people who defeates his lieutenants...
He raises a hand. "This is what you all wished for."

And then he brings his hands to his head. "Instant Transmission." There is a pop of air rushing in where he was, as he vanishes, his power signature quickly dying down and vanishing from perception.

Fern Valley will probably recover in time.

But time is not a friend, especially with Kakarot still on the loose. Where did he go, and where will he strike next?

Deelel has posed:
Deelel is going to fall back at this point, do what she can with damage control for anything she can help woth. Unlike organics whose memories fade with time? If she ever thinks of Toma again? Even decades or more later it will be clear as the day it happened. She's got a lot think about, and a lot to ... wonder about.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
What the hell just happened? The big Saiyan fled, but what Kakarot and Vegeta did was just on a completely different level. If Sanary hadn't already spent a lifetime of luck earlier, this would definitely come in as a close second. She stares towards the sky dumbfounded for a while before finally realizing that the Neo-Saiyans had left, save for one...

Weird-looking pile off to the side. "Uh... Is this a... Did someone leave this?" She stares at the mass making up Toma's body, glancing towards the others on the ground and in the sky every now and then before finding her gaze drawn back to whatever it is.

Cory (768) has posed:
"Yeah I know Dende--" Cory takes a moment to boggle. If Banjo's leaving she's not sure what to do about that! The girl's completely informal demeanor's pretty obvious though, given the screwed up expression she makes. "Not really the best time for giving directions! If neither of us are killed we can sort this out later. You're WAY off course here, kid!"

    Who's she calling a kid? She's a kid herself!

    But well, off goes Banjo.

But she doesn't have long to wait, for it appears that Kakarot and his band are... dealt with, for now. She heaves a sigh of relief, the crimson power around her dying down quickly.

"Man, the others are gonna FLIP when they hear about this!"

Cell (696) has posed:
     Cell looks over at Sanary.

     "Yep."

"It's a present for your Colonel. Tell her I did exactly what I told her I would: more prisoners than corpses."
