This is an index and brief summary of each of our rule files. While you are within this section, you can see links to its sub-files in the top navigation bar.
Policy covers: Disclaimer, Core Policy, Staff Interaction Policy, Rating & Acceptable Content, Channel Policy, Spoiler Policy, Character Policy, Character Consent Policy, Character Audit Policy.
Banned covers: Characters, source materials, and themes or beats that we either do not allow or require extra attention to approve. Different levels are Banned, Restricted, Hard Restricted, Soft Restricted, and Noticed Restricted.
Advantages covers: The special abilities that player characters have, including powers, skills, equipment, etc. Note that as we're a roleplay site primarily about extraordinary people, this isn't optional even if you think of your character as relatively ordinary. At the very least, you're playing somebody like James Bond or Richard Sharpe.
Disadvantages covers the failings, foibles, and weaknesses the player characters have. The minimum requirement for this is a Trouble, which is a way the character is consistently wrong in how they approach their lives that brings them trouble.
Rulings covers: Specific problems or scenarios that we have made long-term policy rulings. Topics include how long knowledge of source materials lingers, factional defection and infiltration, and when you need permission to run plots.
Power Copy covers: Specific policy surrounding various forms of Power Copy (see also Advantages).
