        "Caught up with Kazuko, at long last. It had been a long couple of weeks and we'd both had our trials to overcome. No, I'm not going to go into all the details of what aliens and spirits got punched and where, I do that enough, people are beginning to think I like to toot my own horn too much. Sufficed to say...

        We met up in New York... A New York. Nothing particularly unpleasant about it aside from what you'd expect from New York. She wa getting on well enough by herself- well enough, in fact, that I needn't have bothered. I looked at her and I knew that whatever had happened between then and now, Kazuko Kawakami had learned to take care of herself. Stand on her own. And I admitted it, I said that those adventures we had together were my means of pushing her towards that point.

        Said she could follow whatever dream she wanted, free of her sister's decisions.

        Next night she's going to be going off somewhere to a new scrape on her own, but for now, we've got tonight to celebrate. Sinatra is singing, all the bells they are ringing...
