Oh well, it's not her she's going to fight. But cameras will be insufficient for her to be able to comment. A short girl, barely reaching five feet in height, clad in dirty clothes on her way here. Toph Beifong wipes off her clothes, then raises a hand in greeting at the older girl and gives her an impish grin. Who else can this be but Jinx?<br />    "Yo."<br />    She crosses her arms across her chest though, and there's a look of concentration on her face. "Cave Hopper isn't here yet, is he?" she muses, then shrugs. He'll probably pop in any moment. Because that's what he's good at.<br> <br>

That's... disconcerting.<br /><br />    He's lurking in the shadows, not quite standing out in the light, because, really, he needs a moment. He's heard tales, who hasn't, but never having gone up against her himself, the former Royal Protector doesn't quite know what to make of his opponent. Truth be told some part of him didn't want to know, to find out. Didn't want to be, well, discouraged. After all, this was just a game, a challenge, a contest. He's got a case of the nerves, and he's playing with his sword, an atrocious habit, collapsing it and unfolding it in what might well look like some grand and intimidating game of whirring, spinning, darknly glinting blade, but in truth is just a man fidgeting a bit nervously under the shadow of the crowd and an unknown mystery (for him) of an opponent, one with a rather scary reputation.<br /><br />    But it's time to go. He would offer a silent bow to Toph, an acknowledgment of her presence, before turning back to Jinx, a signal that he's ready to begin.<br> <br>

It's hard to see behind that grim metallic skull mask, but the fact that he's just kind of, standing there?
