|Synopsis=As the battle of resources continues, Alpha Centauri gets a chance to test himself out against a Saiyan named Taylita. This battle almost snaps him in two.

It wouldn't be long till that same unknown 'object' came in right over the Union held area.<br /><br />Though when it came in, the thrusters shifted to slower speeds and the mechanoid being hovered their in the air for a moment. The gold optics flickering gently as weapons became trained on him. Slowly those gold optics narrowed as bullets filled the sky along with cannon blasts.<br /><br />The sky was covered with smoke and explosions and when it faded, the Accretian was slowly lowering himself to the ground as he spoke, "Pathetic." He says simply. For as soon has his metallic feet touch the ground the ports on his shoulder opens and missiles explode outward.<br /><br />Some blowing up towers, others blow up tanks. People running, some trying to hold down the fort. It was quickly turning into a mess as the Accretian stepped ever forward. Pulling out his rifle and plasma blasting several non-elites in the back. Even walking over a few who had fallen.<br /><br />His attention drawn to one trying to call out for assistance, before the man's eyes go wide, "Wait a second.." then before the man could even finish, he was being lifted into the air by the bare hands of the ten foot Accretian, then his neck crushed with simple ease, before being tossed aside. "Hmph."<br /><br />It was rather obvious even as a few more continued to try and fight, that the only thing that was going to stop this unknown mechanoid who did not have much record with the Union expect maybe under one or two reports, was simply another Elite.<br> <br>

Upon closer inspection, it is actually a person wreathed in a flame-like blue aura trailing energy behind her as she rockets through the sky toward the machine. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Once she gets close enough, Taylita starts firing ki blasts. She wants to get that thing's attention fast. She can already see the death and destruction it is causing for apparently no reason, and as an honorable warrior it is the kind of thing that makes her really mad. He knows these guys can't stand up to him, yet he's crushing them. "Cut it ooout!" Taylita roars as she closes in, aiming to throw a powerful punch right into the mech.<br> <br>

"Saiyan-- Taylita.." He says mostly to himself, before he suddenly side-steps to avoid being fully kicked in he face-plate. As she streaks by, her blue flame licks across his armor at the close proximity, scorching the gray metal up a bit.<br /><br />The Accretian's shield then pops off its backside and he reaches up for it to latch onto his left arm as he takes aim with his rifle arm with the Photon Rifle. "All things will be purified in time. Eliminating the weak is only the beginning." The mechanoid says calmly.<br /><br />His finger then pulls the trigger on the Photon Rifle and a near blank shot burst fires out at Taylita perhaps before she could fully recover.<br> <br>

Taylita grunts as she ends up flying right past Alpha, then turns just in time to get a large blaster bolt to the face. Her head snaps back and she goes tumbling end over end through the air before crashing into a nearby rock formation, which crumbles around her. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; For a moment, it might appear the battle is already over. But, Alpha no doubt knows better. The rocks shift, then explode outward, many of them right toward the Accretian. "Do us a favor and purify yourself first, would you?" Taylita says, blood flowing lightly down her face from Alpha's attack. She floats back into the air and dusts herself off, trying to ignore just how embarrasing it is for a saiyan to be dodged and blasted like that.<br> <br>

As Taylita may find out if she looks up anything on this ten foot machine-- there was little to be found. His race is a total mystery, but the fact he is with the confederacy-- may not be so much at this point.<br /><br />There was a light chuckle from the machine as rocks clinked along his shield, causing sparks of blue friend the field that rested just slightly over the metal. Thet red 'eye' emblem seeming to glow ever so faintly. "We are the purified, for we are perfection."<br /><br />Alpha Centauri moves his shield away as he looks at her. "After all.. flesh is weak." He then goes to take a step forward. "..and flesh is impure." Then with his thrusters kicking on, the Accretian bolts forward at 300 MPH, bringing up his shield to not only ram into her, but knock Taylita aside if she doesn't move quickly. "And none have proven the wisdom of the Administration incorrect."<br> <br>

"Well, get ready to experience an error then, ugly. Because I may be flesh, and possibly impure, but I am anything besides weak." she says as she is carried along. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Then, she leaps up in the air, still moving at the same speed, and somersaults quickly as she brings her hands around in front of her. She quickly builds energy, then thrusts her palms outward toward Alpha, firing twin beams of destructive Ki energy. The blue beams might have a bit of trouble finding their mark at this speed, but if they do, they promise to pack an explosive punch!<br> <br>

He flips in the air and uses his shield to catch the landing, flipping himself back up to his feet as he slides just a few feet backwards. The impact mark on his body smoking a bit, but the damage noted by the heavy scorch marks in the strange machine's alloy.<br /><br />Alpha then leaps off to the side, his thrusters kicking in as he 'skates' across the surface. Moving at the rapid speeds that he produced while he charged her, only this time he was making a strafing run, attempting to catch her in several photon rifle shots that were quickly scattering around the area.<br /><br />This time, the Accretian has nothing to say.<br> <br>

She's fought Serori and Gohan, and beaten them both. Some robot shouldn't be a match for her... <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As Alpha skates around, Taylita closes in on him again. The saiyan comes spiraling through the air, and at the last moment channels the forward momentum and spinning energy into a powerful kick, aimed at the Accretian's side. Taylita's sheer force however does at least something decent in her favor for the cheating machine with his HUD tracking. Her strength slams into his shield, breaking past the field, denting the tower shield and forcing the clamps to let go.<br /><br />The tower shield flying off and clattering along the ground a few feet away. However Taylita should not praise herself yet, because the Accretian shows that he is quickly a walking arsenal as he steps around, his left hand going for his hip and pulling out a hilt of some kind.<br /><br />With a flick of his wrist, a hot white plasma blade activates and he swings the plasma sword around in a hard upward cleaving motion as he comes back around. There was a low mechanical rumble from him. Perhaps in annoyance of how much of a challenge Taylita is becoming.<br> <br>

Energy swords are the worst. At least physical swords can be blocked. But, blocking an energy sword is sure to do some damage even if you block it well. Unless you have your own energy sword. Which Taylita doesn't. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The saiyan brings up her arms to block, but a cry still escapes her as it slices into her flesh and sears her. She backs off quickly, but doesn't stay back long. She rushes back in, trying to catch the arm holding that blade. Then, she tries to apply her brute strength to simply tear the hand off. Even if it doesn't work, the stress to that arm is sure to cause some damage.<br> <br>

Its warmer to the touch then normal 'steel' should be. Though smooth, there was something just 'off' about it.<br /><br />It was also far stronger then steel as well, as she will find that though her hand pressure dented the metal work, it did not break the metal as she like. Alpha Centauri stares directly at her as she holds his left arm. More creaking can be heard as he tries to free his arm. There was a very low mechanical rumble before those optics flicker with gold light.<br /><br />"Unwise." He says calmly, as Taylita will see the reason to his words. His photon rifle is pointed directly at the center of her mass and he pulls the trigger...<br> <br>

The only reason Taylita is not perforated by a photon shot is her warrior reactions. In the moment it takes Alpha to pull the trigger, her form blurrs and the shot passes through an after image. Then, she is behind Alpha, smoke curling off her side from where she narrowly avoided the shot. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She rushes in again, hoping that she can catch Alpha before he realizes where she is. She comes somersaulting in this time, but still uses the momentum from her spinning to aim a powerful kick. This time at Alpha's head. She swings her leg overhead in an arc that will bring it down in a hammer motion on top of the Accretian. After the attack, successful or not, she hops back again. "You're pretty tough. If I beat you, can I get some data on your metalurgy?" she asks, even as she is building energy for another ki attack.<br> <br>

The armor denting only slightly from the impact and his arm barely budging as she flips off. Alpha Centauri only narrows his optics to her reply.<br /><br />The mechanoid then steps forward, putting away the photon rifle in place for another plasma blade as he races in. At first it may seem he has no plans to give her a reply, at least until he gets in closer. "Negative." He then steps in with a sharp turn of his heel.<br /><br />The Accretian then swings one of the blades one way for the Saiyan warrior while she is trying to charge up. With another step he goes to bring down the other blade, then comes back around again with another. The sheer speed at which he swings, including with the constant solid motion of the movements, leaves the air slightly charged by the plasma. Causing almost streaks of light in the air from where the plasma blade has been for just a moment.<br> <br>

But, even as she is sliced and burned by those plasma blades, she keeps charging, dodging as best she can all the while. When she finally fires, it is a broad beam of ki energy that hits like a freight train and sears like an energy blast. She sustains it for as long as she can, threatening to engulf Alpha in the blast even at his larger size. The blast tries to push him backward toward a nearby rocky cliff, where the promise of a crash and falling rocks awaits him. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After the energy beam clears, Taylita looks a bit tired, and her usually flawless skin is marred in several places by those photon shots and plasma blades. She is panting softly with the effort of the battle, but actually seems to be enjoying it. "Heh...been a while since I was challenged like this." she says as she floats there in the air.<br> <br>

He becomes lost in the wave of energy and for a moment as the smoke rises, it would seem Taylita may have bested her opponent. Then the sound of metal feet clomping across the now burnt grassy surface.<br /><br />Soon a metal foot stomps down on a small blade of grass that is is still burning with fire. The strange metal alloy is charred by the ki blast, parts of the armor along his chest torn off and even part of the chevron around his face. "A impure who has the ability to use energy. Perhaps I should have studied your file closer."<br /><br />Alpha Centauri's voice is still ever as calm, as he continues to walk toward Taylita. His hands are free of any weapon this time, though he does come to a halt. It was easy to also see her blast had knocked him back several feet away and thanks to that, there was now some distance between them.<br /><br />"A detail I shall keep in memory and an error that will not happen again." He says calmly as suddenly three panels on each should open up about then and as soon as they open, missiles fire out. Six missiles take to the sky, before they twirl around and go to blanket the very area Taylita stands at in explosive display as one goes off after another.<br /><br />Alpha Centauri does take note in her words as well. Been a long time since she has this type of challenge hmm? Interesting. Perhaps he should hand that over to the Moderator as a compliment to the Administrations' build designs.<br> <br>

This time, it is her turn to do a strafing run. She builds energy in her hands, and as she circles Alpha shot after shot of ki energy start firing on him. Each thrust of Taylita's palms sends another shot, and each shot is accompanied by an energetic 'kya!' Much like his missiles, the ki shots explode on impact whether they hit him or only hit near him.<br> <br>

As Taylita starts her barrage, the Accretian flips over one blast, before coming over to his shield, another impacted his shoulder, but he kicks up his shield to take several more to the already damaged shield.<br /><br />He rolls his shoulder as he tries to work out the joint, until the final blast is enough to slam the shield out of his hands again. However this time he shows no care, as he suddenly races for her at top speed before all thrusters come online for a short burst to nearly move him at mach speeds to suddenly seem to be right on top of her.<br /><br />At this point Alpha Centauri attempts to grab her and if he can take hold, along with keep hold, spin her around with the speed of energy he has built up and then send her slamming into the very ground with all the kinetic force he can generate.<br> <br>

Dust and rocky debris goes flying out in all directions, obscuring the saiyan from view for several seconds. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; When it clears, she is on one knee, panting heavily and bleeding almost as heavily. Then, she coughs, and blood drips from her mouth. "...okay...that one hurt..." she grumbles to herself before she manages to get back to her feet. She wonders about being called a singularity. She thought those were things like black holes. Which could be a compliment, but she feels she is missing what Alpha intended to convey. "Hey. What's your name, before I destroy you? I have to make sure and write it down in my 'wins' notebook." she says. She gives Alpha a moment to answer, but whether he does or not, she goes on the attack again. Running low on energy and stamina, she charges back toward Alpha in the blink of an eye. But, rather than hit him from the front as it appears she will, just before the hit she seems to disappear, only to reappear above Alpha, aiming another of her deadly spin kicks at his head. She puts as much force as she can muster into the attack, hoping that the machine is not as stubborn as she is. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Because if it is, she hates to admit, she might not win this.<br> <br>

As she comes in with a hard spin kick, the Accretian shows his ability to track her movements, though tracking and reacting is two different things.<br /><br />Alpha Centauri attempts to bring his his arm to block the attack, only for the force to come in quicker then he can do so, and slams into his head. The sheer force causes static for him in one audio receptor and nearly slams him over. He rolls around and gets back up to his feet.<br /><br />The 'wings' on his back do a momentary stretch, as he checks the joints and the flexes out his hands before clenching them into a fist. It was-- oddly a very human reaction. "I was ordered to not terminate you.. and I shall obey.." Is that where you come from?" she asks even as she spins to deliver another kick, then spins the opposite direction to deliver another, aiming both at Alpha's waist. The second kick has quite a bit more power than the first, and if Alpha isn't careful it might send him sliding away. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "Well, I'm Taylita. And I never give up. So, if suffering catastrophic damage is worth it to you just so you can beat me and then limp back to the Confederacy, then fine. His movements, even at his damaged state are rather smooth for a machine and have been this entire fight.<br /><br />Though Taylita's inquiries about where he comes from goes unanswered it seems, at least about where he comes from. "My loyalties are to the Empire," he says as he steps back after the block and stands in a slightly defensive posture. "The Confederacy are allies to the Empire, by the word of the Administration." His optics then flicker in that moment, "..and by their orders-- this territory will become under the rule of the Confederacy once more."<br /><br />Alpha then flips backwards, as he lands down he then skids back a bit. The panels open up once more, as he braces down a bit. This time missile after missile fires out, some going up high, while others go straight out.<br /><br />Where last time he blanket was kept to a minimal, this time he lays out the missiles in a massive wide spread, attempting to make sure that no matter how she tries to move, there is no safe place /to/ move. Explosion after explosion, wave after wave, at least until his HUD indicates that she is down or until he runs out.<br /><br />After all, he isn't out to kill her, but no one said he couldn't bring her to state of almost being there.<br> <br>

Her form quickly disappears in explosions, and when the smoke finally clears, she is lying on her belly on the cratered ground. She is still moving, but she is obviously in no condition to keep fighting. Her body is battered and broken, her breathing is ragged, and her clothing no longer exists thanks to all the explosions. "D-...damn...it..." is all she manages before passing out from pain and exhaustion. <br /> <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The battle lost, the remaining Union troops quickly collect the fallen saiyan, throwing a blanket over her to keep her modest, and make a hasty retreat.<br> <br>
