It's...<br /><br />His daughter.<br /><br />The face of his daughter, looking down upon him.<br /><br />With tears in her eyes.<br /><br /><span class=" bold_fg_r bg_n ++ hr">Daddy, you have to get up!</span><br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He has to get up. Fudou grunts, his legs find their strength, his arms tighten over the gaping wound in his chest, groping at the blood. The street fighter staggers forward--<br /><br /><span class=" bold_fg_r bg_n ++ hr">Fight!</span><br /><br />He catches himself.<br /><br /><span class=" bold_fg_r bg_n ++ hr">Win!</span><br /><br />His head turns upward, flame igniting in his eyes. In his veins. The night is cast back. The sun rises anew.<br /><br /><span class=" bold_fg_r bg_n ++ hr">We believe in you!</span><br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"You," Fudou growls, his fist clenching tight. White light throbs in his veins, pushing away the red. Tongues of red-orange flame lift from his lips. "You made my little girl cry."<br /><br />Thunder.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fudou launches himself forward, a sphere of rolling thunder on legs. Fury becomes him. His hands surge like a typhoon of violence, fusing into a single, devastating blow as he closes in--<br /><br />And delivers a punch that shakes the arena to its foundations.<br> <br>

She doesn't know why it didn't, like some other power was at play here. Rebound rises up after she strikes her blow, only to find her opponent still standing. She doesn't understand it, but she doesn't have much left to defend against him either.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She doesn't even attempt to block the strike as it comes in, holding her arms out to her sides and letting it strike her full force. The impact shatters the ground around her and sends her sailing off of the arena floor, flying into the wall that surrounds the arena proper.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Members of the audience scramble for cover as the mutant kangaroo smashes into seats, winding up somewhere about the tenth row. Thankfully the medical crews are on hand to evacuate her, and the repair crew that always seems to be on stand-by in the arena can get to work on patching the wall and stands before the next fight is set to begin.<br> <br>
