Monsters still fill the wilds, but it is a significantly safer place to visit than it once was. The vast fields of the land are a wonderful place to explore, filled with various locations one may visit. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fassad himself is glad for this. It will make the last leg of his journey all the easier. He stands in a clearing in the woods. This place he has visited today is part of the Lost Woods, albeit quite different. Absolutely everything about it feels different. The plants and wildlife are still present in the area. Small animals such as birds and rabbits can be glimpsed frequently. The only oddity is the strange fog that covers the area. This fog makes it incredibly hard to see more than a short distance into the woods. This makes Fassad a bit nervous. Why would the Master Sword be in such a place? But. His conversations with the Spirits of Light have lead him to believe this is the place where the Master Sword rests. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He had planned to go alone, but others have offered to join him. He waits for their arrival, nervously staring straight at the path ahead. <br> <br>

She'd spent a lot of time thinking about it after the fact, meditating while she looked into her mirror through a good portion of the night. When she'd heard people were intending on visiting the world to help out a Union member that was there, she didn't hesitate, and got the coordinates. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hoshi's arrival is quiet and cautious. While the sounds of animals was calming, the way that the fog hung around obscuring her vision reminded her uncomfortably of the Mirror Forest. Given that she didn't think she needed to worry about appearances, she's come in her full kendo outfit this time, her sword sheathed at her side. Behind her helmet, Hoshi looks around with a small frown, but Rosamond's presence in her mind calms her thoughts. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;When she's finally able to see Fassad through all the gloom, she jumps and comes to a stop, bowing to him from her waist. "Uh... Hi. THis is where we were supposed to meet, right?... You're not a robber or anything?"<br> <br>

There are a couple of points of interest, and she doesn't have a particular priority among them - but Fassad does.<br /><br />Fassad, on the other hand, *does*. So meeting up at the Lost Woods seems like as good a place as any - maybe it's less spooky and creepy with the Twilight cleared away, and with the Kokiri knowing that Fassad and his allies are friends. Though her primary motivation for being here is of course seeing Fassad through that dangerous period where one relaxes right when reaching the end is assured but just before actually arriving, she can't help but have some curiosity for this artifact that Fassad has been questing for over a period of months, requiring so many trials before even touching it, and which he claims is near singlehandedly the key to Agahnim's undoing. Fog isn't too much of an issue for Priscilla, having one or two other senses to rely upon in lieu of being able to see only a little over dozen meters or so.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A forest does seem like an odd place for it, admittedly. Especially a holy sword. She'd have expected some sort of temple or tomb or reliquary, or at the very least a proper armoury. Whoever had made it, or at least last wielded it, had been pretty serious about keeping it secret rather than just well defended. She steps in from shortly behind the group, not exactly needing any powers to be difficult to see, though easy to feel for the way the mist begins to grow cold and frosty immediately around her. "What nonsense, Lady Amakasu. Who couldst possibly mistake such a valiant figure for a common thief?" she says wrily to Hoshi. All Fassad has to do is smile to practically blind someone after all. She's in a good enough mood for the moment that she's able to bear Finna dropping in as a fake kokiri without visible exasperation. "And thou art sure of this way forward?"<br> <br>

As he turns around, he smiles towards the girl before him. He doesn't recognize the girl, neither through voice or appearance. He can guess easily enough that she is an ally, though. He gives a bit of a bow as he looks towards her, introducing himself, "Ah. A pleasure to meet you. I am Prince Fassad, from the land of Arcadia. I am no bandit. Are you a fellow ally of the Union?" He looks over her, smiling. She obviously isn't of this land, at least. Her clothes look too different. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He turns to Yuna next, definitely recognizing her. A bow is given to her as well, though a bit more casually. "Yes, everything seems to be going well. Fassad almost jumps again at her appearance, but he has grown used to her oddities. As she is on his shoulders, Fassad looks up towards her, smiling, "Yes. This is the place. He has begun to realize she is getting a bit more of a sense of humor. He blames those she hangs around. But, still, she is a lot happier seeming than she used to be. He gives a smile at her, "Yes. I am certain. This is where the Spirits of Light told me to go, and this is where it must be." <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Without another word? He starts leading the path forward. His pace is slow, and the path is winding. There are various side-routes as well. Fassad holds up a map as he walks along, focusing upon it. It glows with a soft light, akin to that of the Tears of Light. Obviously, a gift from the Spirits. Serafina follows along with him, flying close to Fassad's side. <br> <br>

Instead of striking out, Hoshi grips the handle of her katana tightly and grits her teeth. It's time to stop acting like a scared child. "... Wait, Ms. Finna? That is you, right?" <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Priscilla's entrance and calming tone thankfully manage to calm some of Hoshi's jumpy nerves. "Ahaha... Heh... Sorry. This place is a little too close to the Mirror Forest for me, and my luck hasn't really been that great recently." She perks up. "But, uh... W-well, it'll be a honor working with you all." Priscilla gets a slightly timid bow. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As they start making their way down the path, Hoshi elects to set herself in the back of whatever formation they assume, occaisonally walking backwards. She was trying really hard to make sure they weren't ambushed or being followed. Shadows were wont to sneak up and kill their victims. There's a chance such a thing might exist here, too. Hence the vigilance.<br> <br>

I'm basing much of what I say on the legends."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The fog remains thick, but at last, a clearing is reached. There is a different atmosphere in this place. It's quiet. Alarmingly so. The fog in the area feels a bit more still, a bit more frozen in time. Not even a bird can be heard chirping in this place. There is a slight aura throughout it. Even those who are not sensitive to such a thing will feel it. This place is Holy, in the truest sense of the word. It is a divine place. A place that can, most certainly, bring a bit of peace to whoever enters it.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In the middle of this sacred clearing is a platform made of stone. Beautiful decorations line the sides of it, mostly symbols of three triangles. A staircase of just a few steps leads up to the platform. Notably, the entire thing seems to be one solid piece. It is as if the stone was formed this way. as if this is a place that has always existed. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On the platform is a small stone slab. Writing is upon it, in some lost and unknown language. The pedestal is almost unnoteworthy compared to what is within it. Hilted into the stone is a long blade. The metal of it sparkles, unblemished by time. Near the base of the blade, the image of the three triangles appears again. The symbol of the Triforce. The blue hilt of the sword is elegant and beautiful, with a golden diamond shape right near the blade. The holy nature of this grove is nothing compared to aura of the blade itself. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fassad is now wordless. He walks towards the altar, slowly stepping up it. He looks towards the sword, eyes wide as he looks upon it. He is frozen, nervous to even touch this. He has been looking for this blade for months, but he has dreamed of even touching it all of his life. The Legends of this blade don't just exist in Hyrule, but across the whole world. His mouth opens a little as he looks at it, trying to seek words on what he is feeling or thinking. <br> <br>

She *does* bow her head and clasp her hands in front of her chest, though, offering up a brief prayer, even though she's not an adherent of any of Hyrule's religions - she knows the feeling of holy ground when she sets foot there, and the fact that it's sanctified to protect a weapon makes it feel more appropriate to be here as the Savior of Light.<br /><br />Elner, for its part, just stays close by Yuna. The robo-faerie is tempted to get a closer look at the platform's inscriptions, but where Yuna is moved spiritually, Elner of Wisdom refrains from approaching out of more pragmatic concerns. Knowing that doesn't necessarily make it easier for her so to speak; instead, she starts viewing it as a challenge that has to be surmounted instead of an ever-contant sense of doom. When she talks, her voice is more controlled. "No, it is not normal to draw a sword on a child. Good thing I didn't, hm?" She deadpans to Finna. "Don't worry... I think I got it." Taking a deep breath, she marches forward with her back straight. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The implication of Hoshi getting a fear of forests causes her to blush under her helmet. "Yeah... That probably wouldn't be a good thing. It's nice to finally meet you in person too, Ms. Priscilla. I got it. I just have to think of it like something I have to get past then something just... watching." Maybe sometime she ought to see a psychiatrist before this became an issue, though... She'd have to ask about that. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;When they emerge into the clearing, Hoshi... doesn't really understand what she feels. She'd been an atheist all her life, but the peaceful, calming aura brought a small smile to her lips, and she pulled off her helmet to get a better look of the area. Her eyes were wide and curious, especially when they found the sword. She opens her mouth to say something... but can't. She can't break the peace of the place. Instead, she does the most respectful thing she can. She goes to her knees, left to right, then places her hands in a traingle form on the ground. From there, she bows, and stays bowed for several seconds before she eventually straightens.<br> <br>

Something about it seems to make her feel mildly uncomfortable, as if she strongly dislikes the thought of being near it, like a critical introvert looking upon an extremely crowded and noisy party. "This is . . . quite unmistakably the place, I wouldst believeth. Say whatever words thou deemest appropriate, then take in hand what thou hast toiled so hard for. I doubt it wouldst suffer any other wielder at this point."<br> <br>

The three Spiritual Stones are pulled out of the pouch on his belt. First, the Goron's Ruby, the bright red stone of Power. Second, the Zora's Sapphire, the calm blue stone of wisdom. Finally, the Kokiri's Emerald, the brilliant green stone of Courage. He sets them near the altar. A magical power begins to lift them. The stones lift into the air, circling around the altar. They suddenly fly down, insetting themselves into the stone of hte platform. There is a glowing aura of power, a flare of energy from the Master Stone. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fassad looks towards the others. All of them, encouraging him. Even Priscilla is telling him that he can do it. A smile is on his face. This is it. His dream is now coming true. His hands grasp at the hilt of the blade. His eyes close. He will savor this moment to the last. His fingers gently caress it, feeling the hilt. He braces his legs, both hands clasping the hilt with as much power as he can.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He grabs ahold of the blade. He tugs on it, pulling at it. Every single ounce of strength is put into it as he tugs on the hilt of the sword. Every muscle on his body tugs on it, trying to force it out of the pedestal. It all proves to be useless. The sword does not, in fact, budge. Fassad falls to his knees near the pedestal, hunched over and looking down to the ground. His hands touch the altar. He presses his hand against the flat side of the blade. Tears fall from his eyes. Why? Why did he have to fail now? Did he really go all of this way, just to be proven as not being the hero? <br> <br>

Ignorant of much of Western culture as she was, she knew about King Arthur and the sword in the stone. Who didn't? Now she got to watch something like that happen, right in front of her, witnessing history as it came to pass, towards a better future. Eventually she stands and slowly makes her way over to Fassad, though she doesn't dare get particularly close to the altar. That wasn't her place. "Uh... Mr. Fassad. "I don't really know much about this. Do you guys have any ideas?" They may just be completely at a blank, but it doesn't hurt to try.<br> <br>
