The arena itself is simple. A large, wide open flat surface. To give the viewers as much of an unobstructed view as possible. While also allowing the combatants to display the strength of their own skill without reserve.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nova herself walks out of the waiting area to the cheers of the audiences. Though she's looking very serious. Focused on the fight that's about to come. The rewards are just within reach! And yeah, there's also the fame and title of being champion. But that's not as much as a concern for the covert operative.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nova pulls the large canister rifle from her back and chambers a round. She knows Yang. To a degree. She knows the other woman likes to punch things. Which could be a problem for Nova. But it wouldn't be the first time the sniper has had to deal with melee fighters, so she is prepared. Nova watches carefully as she waits for the other blonde to arrive.<br> <br>

Trails of blood are running down the surface of her suit, coming from the bits of debris still sticking inside her. Judging by the expression on Nova's face, things are really starting to get serious!<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nova releases a hand from the grip on her rifle, raising it up in Yang's direction. An aura of blue psychic energy flares up around the hand. The bits of debris lying on the floor around Nova suddenly rise up into the air around her. It's not to a serious degree, but Nova's telekinesis nudges them just enough to give her the extra space she needs to avoid them. All the while she is doing this, another aura of psychic energy is flaring up around Nova's hand.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nova tilts her head to avoid a punch from Yang, the fist and resulting blast just whizzing past, vaporizing a few strands of her hair. But Nova is ready.<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The Ghost retaliates, stepping into Yang's punch and launching her psychically powered palm towards the girl's chest. The result is a massive blast of telekinetic energy delivered at point blank range. Enough to shatter the bones of any normal person all at once. Though perhaps not Yang, who is far from normal. But it's certainly enough to send the berserker flying and hurting. A lot.<br> <br>
