- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
It is a very quiet night down in the basement of Eleanor's home. The sisters are upstairs for MOVIE NIGHT and have been informed that Nasa and Elle will be doing SCIENCE in the basement.
Well, it's really more along the lines of counseling. Genesis counselling! Elle's sitting on her comfy beanbag chair, Utopia on her right hand, and a bunch of warm and happy lamps are on in her Psychologist's Lair. "So, just get comfortable, Nasa. This only feels weird for a bit, I promise. And honestly, I think the more relaxed and the more comfortable you are the better the whole process goes."
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
It would be a lie of Nasa said she wasn't nervous. Something about having another person's thing create a nebulous object for her that could be who knows what... well. It was a little unnerving to say the least. Regardless, Nasa trusted Eleanor, so she was in the house! Specifically, in the basement with Eleanor.
Nasa moved to quietly settle on the nearby couch, shifting in comfortably a bit as she gives a small smile towards Eleanor. "Okay. Will do best... may to being difficult on the relaxed part. Nasa is never relaxed." She murmurs, though she did her best to! Breathing slowly and closing her eyes for a few moments, slowly lowering her defenses -- including her magic resistance, since she imagined that might hinder the process as well. "Should... keep magic resistance down, yes?" She murmurs quietly.
- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
"It's likely for the best. This isn't quite magic, but it is... Abstract." A smile from Eleanor, and she settles in. "What we're going to do is wake up Utopia, and he will ask you a few questions..." A bite of her lip. "And then you have to make a Contract with the Network. That's how simple it is... and how complex it is."
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Nasa gives a small nod as she listens to Eleanor, nibbling her lip. A contract. Those were always something Nasa was hesitent to enter into. But she looks towards utopia quietly, sniffing at it softly. "Does naut hurt you at all, yes?" She asks softly, "Non to being any danger?" She asks as she shifts in place, not entirely uncomfortably.
- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
"We'll be just fine, Nasa, you can trust me, and you can trust Utopia." Eleanor smiles, and then gingerly takes Nasa's hand, the cool fabric of Utopia sliding into the palm and fingers. "Just say the word, and we'll begin."
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Nasa's ears twitch as Utopia begins to talk, her ears tilting a bit towards him as she focuses on the voice coming from him. Hmm. How interesting. "Will keep resistance down. Works better if nau strain on you, yes?" She gives a thoughtful little look, before she says. "Will to listen to the explanation, would to like how it works so that is to being properly prepared, yes." Nasa says, bowing her head lightly towards Utopia.
As the gloved hand takes hold of hers, Nasa squeezes it with a thoughtful little look, her fingers squeezing it testingly. "Also, possible-important question. Will Hand of Transference to possibly damage Abstractum? Does naut want to damage on accident by using it. Would naut be nice to ally-Abstractum, Nasa thinks." She says, leaning in to sniff at the Abstractum curiously a moment. "If needs explanation... is ability Nasa has that does to allow her to take or give life energy and mana."
- Abstractum.Net (347) has posed:
"The contract is only a contract in name. There is, in a sense, an honor element to it. But aside from that... There is no enforcement you need to worry about. You are free to go about your life as you normally do and ignore the terms. Several have, and have suffered no ill effects." Utopia speaks in comforting, easing tones. It can tell Nasa's a bit ill at ease about this. "The contract is simply an agreement to work to end Them. Since They want to be ended, and since ending Them is stopping a threat to at least one world."
"As for your hand... Well, Abstracta are traditionally built to accommodate such things. I think they will know what to do to avoid troubles, if not to act as an enhancement."
- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
Eleanor just smiles at Nasa. Utopia has this well in hand now. She's here for a friend, and she's here to help.
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
"Would to normally being true on contract, but any contract Nasa enters into, has to uphold. Is magically in blood because is half-fae." Nasa murmurs softly. "But, Nasa understands. Is willing to go into it. Is always a balance when there is to being something like this happening, yes?" She murmurs softly, nodding to herself. Nasa shifts her hand slightly, brushing her finger over the back of the glove in a comforting manner... though it was largely for herself than Eleanor. Having her magical resistance down, along with entering into a contract... she was definitely ill at ease. "Accepts contract."
"What does to have to do from here? And... maybe would to being nice if it enhanced the Hand of Transference, though does naut expect that. Is strange ability. Is ready to start when you are." She says softly, bowing her head towards the eye on Utopia.
- Abstractum.Net (347) has posed:
"Oh, hmm. That makes things a bit more complicated, I suppose. Well, the contract is open and not particularly detrimental, I think... It's up to you, though. I won't try to pressure you into anything you don't feel comfortable with."
A deep breath from the thing that doesn't have lungs. "Right, well. If you are ready, then. Consent is all I require. Of your self, and of my own User. Eleanor, shall we begin?"
- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
Eleanor's hand squeezes and she smiles. "I concent to this Genesis, Utopia. Let's make this happen." She sucks in a breath and then helpfully opens up all of her DNA to her partner. "You have me at your disposal, Utopia."
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Nasa takes a small breath, musing on things for several moments it seems... before she gives a small nod. "Still accepts contract. Is small and non-detrimental. When can help, will help." Nasa nods to herself, before she continues with a soft. "Okay. Is ready to begin. Nasa consents to this Genesis. Utopia." She says, semi-mimicing Eleanor as she keeps her hand lightly rested in Eleanor's... though she was unsure if that mattered.
- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
Eleanor's pupils dialate a little at the always heady moment of Genesis, before she blinks away the brightness of this particular creation. A little whistle of breath though. "Goodness. Together, We'll End Them."
She smiles happily, and lets go of Nasa's hand. "And you got a weapon. Ooooh. Probably a Red type, the way these things tend to go. You should introduce yourself. Be polite." A little stick of her tongue through her teeth.

"Powering Genesis Drive."

A vivid blue light shines out of the glove's eye as it shifts, slowly, into a monotone. "User explicit consent confirmed. Candidate User explicit consent confirmed. Drawing resonance." Loud whirring builds to a peak in the Abstractum; a burst of wind blasts out of the glove that sends small shockwaves into the environment.
"ASSEMBLING CONCEPTS. AMPLIFYING PARADIGMS." It speaks in a harder monotone. "DETERMINING IMPRINT." Nasa is going to feel a sensation not entirely unlike being grasped, tightly, but instead of in physical space, it's in another spatial axis entirely. It lifts her, and then she's struck against reality, with the sensation of leaving an imprint in it, a mold of sorts.
When she's struck against reality, there's a bright blue shockwave of light and another swirling rush of wind, likely to blow light debris around. "CONCEPT MOLD ESTABLISHED. ENGAGING FULL GENESIS." And, it would seem, this "imprint" gets filled in. Like certain actions before it, this "filling in" seems to be performed on another spatial dimension, looking the way a mold might look to a flatlander when filled.
A sword forms first, then another. A chain gradually begins to link them, both the blades and the chain itself clearly ornately forged. In the center of the chain, a small, round gem can be seen. Within the gem, a defined black pupil forms, surrounded by a pair of shadowy eyelids.
Both Abstractum speak in unison now. "NETWORK MESSAGE: A new Abstractum has been deployed. Thank you for assuming the duty of protection. When They return, together we'll end them." And, abruptly, everything settles down.
Hope Nasa caught that Abstractum! Because while it was floating before, it won't be now. It slowly begins to open its eye, though... As for Utopia, it seems un-exhausted by the whole ordeal, apparently quite capable of managing a Genesis now without huge, terrible expenditure of energy.
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Genesis Drive. As the Genesis Drive activates, Nasa's eyes shift around, that feeling of being... pulled ... was ... well, it was a bit strange to say the least. She was pulled, lifted... and felt as if she was being thrust into a 'wall' in a heavy firm manner. The Drowess seemed highly uncomfortable, though once the genesis fully began, she watched... well, in a bit of awe.
It looked like magic, but it didn't smell like it. It was a bit perplexing and somewhat strange, but regardless... as the swords form, Nasa reaches her hands out towards them reflexively. Though not out of greed, she would take hold of both grips of the swords even as they form the chain. As the chain finishes, the Abstractum is lifted up testingly. Nasa looks over it carefully, smiling slightly at the sight of the Abstractum. "When They return... together, we will to end them." Nasa murmurs after the network message from her Abstractum.
Eleanor's urgings get a small nod from Nasa, who lifts the blade up so she was looking roughly at the eye. "...Vendui<Hello>, Nasa's name is Na`Sabal-Une Fang. Is a pleasure to meet you..." She murmurs, her tone a bit awkward as she was, well, talking to a pair of chained swords with an eye in the center.
- Abstractum.Net (347) has posed:
Nasa will find it was definitely not magic. It was, instead, something more basic and abstract, a conceptual sort of force and process rather than one based in science or magic. And then the eye fully opens. There are a few blinks as the blades seem to adjust to this. "Ah." It says, its chain rattling slightly and shifting to a friendly attentive sort of posture. "Greetings, Na`Sabal-Une Fang. I am Erel`avin, your Abstractum, a Red type." It looks her up and down, seeming to take stock of its User. "You already look interesting, I think I'll learn a lot from you. Thanks for having me created, I hope we can work together and I can help you." A rather friendly, upbeat sort of tone, but there's a lot of weirdness to the dialogue it says there...
"Ah, there we are." Utopia says. "Welcome to existing, swords. Nasa, I hope you find your new friend to your liking. The swords sure seem to find you to theirs."
- Eleanor Lamb (40) has posed:
Eleanor smiles. "Erel'avin. A good name." a little giggle. "Okay, so, basic ettiquette here. Keep them safe. Erel is a real sword and a real creature, so keep him like you'd keep your other weapons... Oh, and you'll want to get on the channel we all have, it's extremely helpful and you can get more information about your new partner."
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
"Erel'avin... Moon Guardian. ... Is interesting name, yes!" Nasa says, carefully examining the blades, reflexively testing their weight and edge. She gives a very satisfied little noise and nods. "Is excellent." She was somewhat trying to avoid thinking about what she'd just experienced, as that weird conceptual force was something she was not used to. Her magic resistance gradually returned as she relaxed her hold on it, giving a slow exhale. "Learn a lot? ... Supposes is not surprise, you are new-creation... still learning?" She thinks on things a bit. Learning. She'd not taught anyone anything before. Crap.
To Utopia, Nasa flashes a toothy grin, her sharp teeth showing -- but not in an aggressive way. "Siyo! <Yes!> They are very much to Nasa's liking! Excellent balance, weight is perfect for Nasa and the blade is to being superb... craftmanship... is naut sure even masterwork is proper word for it." She nods quickly to herself. And then... Eleanor speaks to her.
Nasa turns her face towards her and listens to her intently, giving a small nod. "Will do that. Will to ensure is kept in best condition possible. And... channel? What channel is that to being?" Nasa asks, tilting her head curiously.
- Abstractum.Net (347) has posed:
These blades are well-balanced on their own, and together seem to have quite an effective mutual balance too! "Oh, that's right! I only just now started existing. And, I dunno, you seem like an interesting person who can teach me a lot."
"Oh, the channel! Hang on." The little chains rattle again as soft red lights flash in the eye-gem. There's a few quick bleeps as it links with Nasa's radio. "I'll get you connected to the Users Network, I'm getting some intros from the others and they say I'm supposed to. I hope it helps."
- Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Nasa gives a small nod towards Erel'Avin, carefully tilting the blades and looking to them. "Does to come with a sheath? Or should Lune to go and get some made for you?" She asks softly of the blades, carefully holding them. "Will do Nasa's best to teach you well! ... Has question. Is poison coating safe?" She asks softly, wondering if she should avoid it with the abstractum.
And then... her radio is connected to the users.net, which Nasa shifts a bit, absently checking the numbers and such. Almost obsessively. "Thinks it will! Appreciates it! Will to being a good partner for you, Nasa hopes!"
