Synopsis:	Zarenna meets Katze. Alden and Zarenna talk about upgrades while Kari and Katze consider gardening.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari greets Alden and Katze at the door, and once inside the apartment the pair can see that Zarenna is packing things in boxes. There are many boxes, labeled and stacked neatly, in fact. For some reason there is a small pet carrier with a label that says "Roomba" on it (probably written by Kari).
    "Hi Alden! Hi Katze! How're you doing?" Kari says cheerfully to the pair.

Alden (930) has posed:
The gabumon smiles and waves to the little shinki, lizard tail wagging as he reaches to pet her, "Hey Kari, doing quite well, how about you?" he asks gently, "Thank you for helping the other day." he says softly. Katze was on his shoulder, but quickly jumps down to greet the wolf shinki, kitty shinki hugging her, before wandering inside, "Kari!, nice to see you." she says happily, "What's up?"

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Zarenna looks up from the box she's packing, labeled "Kari's Things", and waves to Alden and Katze. "Excuse the mess, we're packing for a move."
    Kari hugs Katze back! "Not much! We're moving to Neo Arcadia because it'll be easier for Master's work. And you're welcome Alden! I'm glad me and Harriet could help deal with the reaper thingies."
    Zarenna finishes packing the box and walks over to greet Alden and Katze. "Hello again Alden. Kari says you had some things come from your world recently, and they weren't friendly. Glad to see you're alright." She looks at Katze and stoops down to offer a finger for the Maochao shinki to shake. "You must be Katze. Kari told me about you. I'm Zarenna, Kari's master. Nice to meet you."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden grins and reaches to pick up Kari on his shoulder, while the Maochao begins to explore, curious like a cat!. "It's fine, and oh, going to live with Taro?" he asks curiously, before moving deeper into the house, making sure not to disturb anything, momentarily looking at the pet carrier, "Roomba?" he asks softly.

     Katze shakes the finger happily, feline tail twitching as she smiles, "Yes, that's meow." she says, "Nice to meet you!. Alden old me you are really smart."

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari oomphs as Alden places her on his shoulder. "Roomba is the vacuum robot and my friend!"
    Kari gets an exasperated look from Zarenna. "Kari, the roomba is not like Harriet and you."
    "Yeah I know, it's like a dog or cat, right?" Zarenna just lets Kari win this one, because the shinki is firmly of the mindset that the roomba is most certainly alive like the tiny robots are.
    Zarenna turns to Alden as Kari hops down to show Katze around. "So what brings you here today, Alden? Need some help with Katze's maintenance?"
TMeanwhile, Kari shows Katze the cool stuff that she's accumulated, like seeds, gardening tools, a laser cutting torch, some interesting bottlecaps. "And this is the medal that Mrs. Henderson down the hall gave me for finding her pet hamster!" It's a silver dollar with some striped ribbon hot-glued to the back, but it clearly means a lot to Kari.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden was just feeling friendly for a moment, but allows Kari to go away to talk with Katze, chuckling at the argument about the cleaning robot, "I see, sounds cute."he says, perhaps for Kari's benefit!. Still, while the shinkies are busy, he approaches the scientist, his tail twitching. "Well, it is related to Katze at least, both a checkup and talking about upgrades?" he asks, "I cna pay for them, certainly earned a bit of money and got no use for it otherwise." he says, explaining a bit about what he hoped (to let Katze interface somewhat with the D-Arc, perhaps simulate the card slashing... without using a card, maybe just get one of the options to plug intothe data port of the D-Arc and work that way? (it did work that way on the show, at least when editing a digimon).

     Katze is impressed by the collection, jumping around and reaching to admire all teh stuff, "That's so cool, I hope Alden will let me keep nice things like that." she says, motioning to the cutter. She seems especially impressed by the medal, "You are a hero!".

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Zarenna nods. "Sounds like something Taro and I would have to work on, since I'm not an expert in encryption. He would have to take a good long look at your D-Arc to figure out how to send signals to it. As for making something that Katze can transmit with, I can certainly do that. Kari has an enhanced version of her drone controller that lets her control things that have been fitted with the right equipment." She pulls out some glasses. "Did you want some water, Alden?"
    Kari grins. "I'm sure you'll get medals too, Katze! And if you wanna do some gardening I'll help! I grew some peppers last summer and people said they were pretty good!" Kari is really enthusiastic about showing the stuff to her new friend.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden nods, "I feel a bit nervous about that kind of exams, but I think it is necessary... just hoping I am doing the right thing trusting others with it." he says softly, before smiling, "Yes, something like that would work fine." he says, "Certainly, some water sounds good." he says, "Thank you.".

     Katze listens curiously, "Oooh, perhaps we can grow some tomato or lettuce so Alden can make burgers with his meat plants." she says happily, tail twitching, "You sound like you know a lot about gardenning!"

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Zarenna prepares a glass of ice water for Alden, some plain tap water for herself, passes Alden the glass. "It's always nice to see Kari getting along with others." She says, gesturing to Kari and Katze rummaging around in the box of Kari's stuff. "As for security, you don't need to worry. Taro and I will make sure that the data doesn't go beyond Neo Arcadia. We both feel pretty strongly about the rights of digital lifeforms, regardless of their origins. I wouldn't want my bosses in the Confederacy to have something that could be used to enslave you. Or worse. Is Katze alright with getting the modifications?" Zarenna wouldn't perform the modifications unless Katze also consented, even though she knows that shinki will generally do anything their master asks, it's the confirmation of choice that matters to her.
    Kari oohs. "There's lots of tomatoes! Purple ones, striped ones, big ones, tiny ones, weird ones. We can plant a bunch of them and find out what Alden likes best!" Kari stops for a moment, thinking. "I'm not sure what kinds of lettuce there is. Icebergs?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden smiles and takes the glass, "Really?, I guess I am glad I ran into you both." he says, turning to see Katze pointing at seeds and nodding excitedly, "I am glad I met Katze, she is nice." he says, tail twitching slowly. "Yes, she is, she really wants to help, and if we don't do that, she will end up trying to do it the old way." he says with a chuckle, "It looks kind of cute, but also is dangerous." he replies. "I appreciate that you will take care of... the information." he finally says.

     Katze blinks, "Striped tomatoes?... yeah we should get everything and make Alden taste them!" she says, rather happy now, "I don't really know... I know burgers have lettuce on them... dunno which kinds exist."

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari oohs. "There's this market with... Um...." She pauses for a moment, thinking. "Master, what are the weird tomatoes called?"
    Zarenna pauses mid-sip. "They're called heirloom tomatoes."
    "Yeah, that's it! We can buy a bunch and see which ones Alden likes." Uh oh, they seem to be plotting something now...
    "Shinki are meant to be helpful and cheerful, and I'm glad Katze's time in the Shinki City didn't take that away from her." Zarenna says to Alden. Apparently Kari told her Master all about meeting Katze. "There's no small number that are there because their masters were... less than kind, shall we say?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden blinks at the question about tomatoes, before focusing back on Zarenna, "She is a sweetheart, and I am glad she is so cheerful, I was worried too." he says, "She really likes her new gear." he says with a chuckle.

     Katze nods a few times, tail flicking behind her, "I like that idea! we can get lots of stuff for him to try."
