MITAKIHARA TOWN HOSPITAL, MONDAY 10TH, 6AM.
A young girl with caramel hair is being transported to her room by two Union members. Her name is RIKA MICHIKO, and eleven hours ago she was a Witch. The care she received is more than enough to put her into the healthy zone again, but you can never be too careful. Paperwork's handled, just one day under observation. Her parents were told it was nothing serious and she'll be able to go home at the end of the day. Very efficient. They have her contact information, if they need to talk to her again. She said sure, anything to help figure out what happened. What else is there to say?
MITAKIHARA TOWN HOSPITAL, 7AM.
In the next room, young AYUMU ASAMI is helped onto her wheelchair by hospital staff. She sighs tiredly, and moves towards the window, opening it slightly. She puts a small ruby in front of it, giving her room ever slightly more flair, which it seems desperate for.
She wheels herself out of her room.
MITAKIHARA TOWN HOSPITAL (CORRIDOR), 7:02AM.
RIKA and AYUMU cross paths outside their rooms. Rika immediatly opens with, "Ayumu~! Look, we're kinda roommates now!" Ayumu seems surprised. "R-Rika, what are you doing here? Are you okay?" Rika smiles. "Yep! I blacked out all day and woke up covered in blood but um..." Ayumu eeeehs?! "Blood? W-What did you do?!" Rika grins sheepishly. "I have no idea. I guess I let my guard down for a second. Some guys saved me though. Still, isn't it worrying? Two weeks ago this happened to Suzu too. Maybe we should warn Kaori."
Ayumu shakes her head. "A-Ah, that might make her panic... you know how easy she scares. But besides, if a killer was targetting us four, wouldn't he go after me first? I can't exactly outrun someone like this..." Rika sighs. "Maybe it's just a coincidence. You should wish for your legs back though! Come on, you know Kyubey can do that!" Ayumu shakes her head again. "Wouldn't that make everyone suspicious? People don't just grow back their legs... I'm okay being the only one of us four not in on this. Maybe I'll find something to wish for later, it'd be better not to waste it. Ah! Are you hungry? I'm hungry." Rika nods. "Oh man, hospital jell-o, I can't wait!" They both grimace.
MITAKIHARA TOWN, MIKUNI MANSION, 7:05am.
KIRIKA KURE and ORIKO MIKUNI are having morning tea and pancakes. Between sips, the latter casually informs the former: "Kyubey came to me last night while you were out. He wanted me to look at the future." Kirika raises a brow. "Aww, man. Is this another thing that ends with us treasure hunting for people's organs?" Oriko laughs a bit. "Oh dear, I hope not~. It's kind of hazy anyway. Ah, but we should buy some extra tea and cookies for next Sunday!" Kirika keeps her brow raised. "Why?"
Oriko folds her hands together. "Visitors~. I can't tell how many or even who they are, so we'd better be ready." Kirika grins. "Sure. Let me shower, I'm still all bloody from last night, then we'll go."
