The Bank Theft
Date of Scene: 15 June 2015
Location: The Central Valley
Synopsis: Lute heads out to steal a bank. Kaptin Bluddflagg and Taylita show up to turn it into a complicated mess of a brawl.
Cast of Characters: 180, 188, 808

Lute (188) has posed:
A city in the Central Valley sits peacefully. This unaffiliated city is a rather decently sized metropolis, but a rather peaceful one that has as of yet stayed outside of the Multiversal war a bit. It's a rather prosperous city, and located right next to a rather large river. These last two facts are the main reason Lute has picked this city as a target.

The first sign of his arrival is a bulge in the water. The giant, eighty meter tall crab kaiju bursts out of the river. With a tremendous roar, it starts walking onto the shore. It is making its way down the streets, heading specifically towards a bank that is in the area.

Lute is on top of Mr. Crabs. Standing besides him is his I-Class Destroyer, Imima. Yes, Lute was riding on Mr. Crab's back the whole way here. And as such he is incredibly soaking wet. But, more importantly, how did he /breath/ the whole way here?

A snorkel. Which is is now tossing aside.

"Time to get us a bank! This'll be /awesome/."

Taylita (180) has posed:
Large rivers such as this are also good for fish. Big fish. Which is why Taylita was here. She had been diving, attempting to catch large fish from this river to supplement her food budget. She had already landed several large specimens.

Which means that when the giant crab and his rider emerge, the saiyan is in her bathing suit rather than her usual armor. Not that she really minds. Bikinis let her feel all the sun's rays on her body. Taylita drops her latest catch on her pile, then in a burst of energy she takes off into the air.

The red-headed saiyan flies around in front of Lute and Mr. Crabs, then floats there at Lute's level, arms folded over her chest, sunlight glinting off her water-covered skin. "Alright, just turn it around and no one has to get hurt." she calls out loudly to Lute. "I know Serori and Vegeta are high ranking in the Confederacy, so I am sure I don't have to tell you not to mess with a Saiyan."

Taylita is pretty sure that he won't just turn around, and the smirk of anticipation on her face demonstrates that pretty well.

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
One of the major problems with announcing heists over the radio is that there are other people who are happy to take advantage of your heist for their own profit. Of course, what quantifies /profit/ depends on the person, as does what quantifies 'person.' Indeed, as the man said, depending on your point of view...

For instance, take the rock hurtling towards the Central Valley street from literally atmospheric heights. It is on fire, of course, because being on fire is what happens to things that fall out of the atmosphere. But more importantly, it is bristling with the clunkiest, clumsiest, most ridiculous-looking guns that have ever existed. This rock is an excellent example of 'point of view'. Most people would, for instance, call it 'debris'. Or 'junk'. Or 'crap'. Or 'remnants.' Or 'a meteor.'

Kaptin Bluddflagg calls it a Rokk, and also the best way he knows for Orks to hit the ground running.

The meteor collides with the street with a furious explosion, sending concrete, water, glass, and cars up into the air as physics does its dirty work, then back down to the ground as physics is reminded of the other half of its job. The smoking-hot Rokk opens.

And from within comes a noise.

No, a noise is not an accurate term. A noise is a thing you hear. A noise is mere sound, carried on the air by vibrations, and translated by the nerves and other bits inside the ear. This is not noise.

This is something that must be *felt*, that *can* be felt, even as far away as Mister Krabbs. It is a physical force as real as gravity and kinetics, a force that grabs and shakes and doesn't let go until you've felt it all the way down to your bones, until your hindbrain and squishy bits all fully understand what the force is, what it represents, and what has come to town.

     "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

The source of the force is easily-identified as the /fourteen-foot-tall/ green-skinned monster in a pirate's hat, wielding a massive junky-looking gun and a lump of metal nearly as big as it is that can generously be called a cutlass. A ragged blue coat streams behind it as it emerges, like the coat of an old naval captain. A metal jaw-protector, shaped to look like a monster-toothed jaw, is either welded or very well-affixed to its chin.

"OI, YAZ GITZ! DA FREEBOOTAZ BE HIJACKIN' YER PLUNDARRRRR! 'AND OVA ALL YAZ TEEF, HATZ, AN' SHINY GUBBINZ, AN' WE BE WILLIN' TA LET YAZ PART WIFF YER LIVEZ! YAAAAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR!"

Lute (188) has posed:
The arrival of the Saiyan actually causes a bit of a groan from Lute. Lute just stares at Taylita, shaking his head. He has yet to actually /meet/ Taylita until now, but as Lute rubs the bridge , his annoyance at this turn of events if likely obvious. He /really/ did not want to be fighting a Saiyan on this mission.

He can't decide what exact comeback or threat to make. He speaks, sighing a little, "Alright, first off. I've beaten Serori in combat before. And I've gotten stronger since then. With all of my resources, I'm at least a match for Vegeta. Second off, I think I recognize you from the Confederate database as being Taylita, and like, I have one major question for you."

"What the hell is the vegetable pun in your name? I really don't get it."

And then the Kaptin arrives. Lute just stares at the Ork Pirate, baffled. He's heard of Orks, ages ago. But they still confuse the hell out of him. They seem absolutely insane. And the guy seems insane even to Lute. What sort of reaction could Lute even /have/ towards an Ork trying to steal his mission right from him?

     "Imima, fire."

The I-Class Destroyer floating on top of Mr. Crabs opens its mouth, and fires a burst of cannonfire towards the Ork. The I-Class isn't the most /powerful/ creature out there, but it can still pack a punch with its cannonfire. And, while it is distracting the Kaptin, Lute holds up a black Pokeball with a red band. As it opens, Giratina appears.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita blinks at Lute's question, then laughs. "My name isn't some vegetable pun. I wasn't raised by saiyans, you see, so I don't have a saiyan name. Or at least, I don't know what it is. Taylita was given to me by my adopted parents. It means 'Child of the Stars', since I fell to their world like a shooting star."

And then...ork. Big ork. Looks like a goblin to Taylita, but her only experience with goblins and orks is from that one movie franchise. "Aren't they supposed to be grey?" she asks, mostly to herself.

Lute's...whatever that thing is...fires on the Kaptin, so Taylita rushes in for Lute herself. She fully expects either the giant crab or that cool looking dragon thing to try to stop her, so she corkscrews through the air, firing bolts of ki energy at Lute as she rushes in toward him. Since she doesn't think that ork will bother with her for now, she doesn't bother him, either.

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
Contradicting information flows into Bluddflagg's...well, Orks sort of have ears. It's complicated. The big green weirdo listens to 'Da Talky-Box' for a moment, pondering. The loot is in the bank. The bank is over there. The humie on the crab does *not* have the loot, and the other humie doesn't have the loot either. Therefore, the correct answer would be to turn and smash the place that *has* the loot, and then smash both the gits. That is the correct answer. He was perfectly willing to leave them alone and let them fight it out all themselves!

But then Lute has to go and ruin everything by firing on him.

Imima's cannon pounds the pavement around the massive Ork. Some of the shells even find their mark, explosions tearing into the big green behemoth and sending bizarre green blood spraying everywhere. As the smoke clears, the Jolly Roger Giant stands his ground.

"DAT'Z PRETTY GOOD, 'UMIE," The Ork roars, "BUT YAZ MADE AN ERRA I BE FEELIN' DA NEED TA INFORM YA UV!"

"NEVA TELL A FREEBOOTA WHERE DA LOOT BE! YARRRR 'ARRR 'ARRRR!"

Bluddflagg starts to run...*towards* the bank, the giant lumbering monster surprisingly neither lumbering nor slow. Indeed, the fourteen-foot-tall green killing machine has legs like tree-trunks, built to enable the charge of a thing *specialized* in closing the distance and charging.

From out of the Rokk comes a green streak, trailing smoke and fire. BRIKKFIST emerges from the makeshift vehicle, whooping and hollering as he fires at Mister Crabs, Imima, Lute, and Giratina. The explosive shells are horribly inaccurate, but against something as big as Mister Crabs, that may literally not even matter.

"Pin 'em down, Brikkfist!" howls a much shorter green Ork with a gun the size of...the ork...on its shoulders. MISTA NAILBRAIN, the First Mate of the Damned Greenskins, mounts his anti-vehicular cannon and starts firing furiously at Mister Crabs' legs. Armor-piercing explosive shells go screaming forth.

And then, from out of *absolutely nowhere*, a giant purple screaming ork emerges like *RIGHT NEXT TO LUTE*, howling. SPOOKUMS is clearly a masterful Kommando, except for the part where he decided to break stealth with an ear-splitting roar!

Lute (188) has posed:
Things are not going Lute's way right now. At the least, he has backup in the form of his Pokemon. Attacking the pirate captain was not his smartest move, though.

As Taylita comes in, blasting with Ki, Mr. Crabs lifts one of its gigantic pincer claws. Lute is the vulnerable point in the formation, and every single one of his Pokemon and pets are trained to defend him. The Ki does manage to sear the body of Mr. Crabs a bit at least. It tries to swing its pincer claw at Taylita.

Mr. Crabs is supported in holding off Taylita by the efforts of Giratina. As the Saiyan flies forward, Giratina flies at her as well. On its mouth, it has sharp blades. It swings these towards Taylita, trying to cut at her. It'll even tank a few Ki blasts if it needs to.

Bluddflagg heading towards the bank is a surprise. Lute thought for sure he'd be mad! But then the other Orks come out. The explosive shells and anti-vehicle cannons are tanked by Mr. Crabs. Many of them are beginning to chip off bits of its shell as well, chunks of the exoskeleton flying all over the place. Some of its blue blood appears as well, poisonous to any that touch it.

But the stealth Ork? That takes Lute by surprise. Lute stumbles to the side, tripping, and falling down on top of Mr. Crab's head. He grabs ahold of Mr. Crabs, and just stares at the sudden Ork.

"...You guys have /ninjas/? Pirate /ninjas/?"

Imima is less in shock thankfully. She moves to try and headbut straight into Spookums.

Taylita (180) has posed:
It is a surprise at first, but after she thinks about it, Taylita isn't surprised the pirate would just bypass the two of them and head for the loot. Of course, she supposed to be protecting that loot, so she spirals away from Giratina after blocking a few of those slicing attacks then she heads after the Kaptin. "Hey you! Your momma was a human!" she shouts, trying to draw his attack.

He didn't seem to think too highly of humans, so she figures a yo momma like that might attract his attention. And, just in case it doesn't, she spirals her way toward Bluddflagg and aims a powerful kick at the base of his spine. Might seem like a regular-sized human such as herself wouldn't pack that much of a kick, but she isn't a human. She's a saiyan! Being kicked by her is like having a train smash into you. Or something like that.

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
Headbutting an Ork is literally always a mistake. Ork skulls are like iron mixed with harder, meaner iron. Spookums is no exception; Imima's headbutt produces a ringing KLANNNNG that hums out through the air around Mister Crabs loudly. Spookums, apparently either hyper-accustomed to pain or simply in less pain than Imima was probably hoping for, ignores the bloody green trail down his forehead, reaching for the little Abyssal boat.

Massive muscles bulge as Spookums attempts to fling Imima out to sea.

Meanwhile, Brikkfist lands on the Crab as well - charitably speaking, anyway. The huge Nob lands on his ass near the great big brawl, heedless of the (poorly-aimed) Deffgun shots, the (less-poorly-aimed) ki blasts, and the other effects whirling around him. With an almost suicidal glee, the Ork opens its mouth to reveal a large cube of white powder. He spits it over the side, into the water under Mister Crabs.

"Dat's da Boompowda," Brikkfist observes with glee, "INSTANT BOOM, JES' ADD WATA!"

     Wata...water...wuh-oh.

     KAAAA-BOOOOOOOOOOM!

The cube touches the water and erupts into a waterspout at Mister Crabs' side as pure kinetic force and explosive might mingle into a chemically-derived kaboom.

A Deffgun shot goes wide into the waterspout. "ZOG IT! WATCH WOTCHA DOIN'!" Nailbrain wails at the other two.

Meanwhile, Bluddflagg plows through the bank's window, heedless of Taylita's ill-targetted insult (orks do not have a concept of gender - there are no "girlz", only "boyz"). He raises Da Shootamajig into the air.

"YA GITZ CLEARRRRR OUTTA 'ERE 'AFORE I STARRRRTZ ME SHOOTIN'! DERE'Z UVVA GITZ ON DA WAY!"

Da Shootamajig fires an explosive payload into the ceiling as Bluddflagg goes moving deeper into the bank, shorly before Taylita comes from behind to club him in the back. Taylita's kick does not, perhaps to her dismay, send the giant green pirate flying. The kick reverberates through his skin, down to his feet, shaking the very floor of the bank from the collision of Unstoppable Force, and Immovable Object.

% With surprising skill and speed for something apparently stupid, Bluddflagg swings the /fourteen-foot-long/ hunk of metal backwards at Taylita's torso. Arms bigger around than Taylita is push the massive weapon through its arc, the hunk of metal whistling furiously through the air.

"Da zog iz ya yappin' about, 'oomie? Da Mummiez ain't mine!"

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute sighs in relief as Taylita goes for the captain, instead of himself. Having the Saiyan off of him for a bit will help, at least for a bit. His look of relief turns to terror, though. Did Imima really just headbutt the Ork, and come off /worse for wear/ due to it? What the hell are these things /made/ of? The only thing he can do in response to Imima being thrown towards the river is just watch and stare. At the least, being in the river is a /relatively/ safe place for her to be.

And then the water starts exploding due to the powder. The blast cuts deep into Mr. Crab's side. Lute is forced to grab ahold of his Crab Kaiju, as it stumbles around a bit. It's taking a lot of damage, and the Orks haven't been properly damaged back, yet. Lute grimmaces. He has some things he could do to cause a /lot/ of damage, real fast, but...

Ah, screw potential colateral damage, he's going to do it anyways.

"MR. CRABS! Spit out bubbles! And then more bubles!"

This stupid sounding order is significantly less stupid than it sounds. Mr. Crabs starts spitting out massive amounts of bubbles, to surround the entire perimeter around it. And then more bubbles, of a slightly different color, are spit out. When the two mix? A chain reaction happens, and a massive explosion surrounds Mr. Crabs, trying to blow up as much around him as possible. Or at least, as much around ground level and in the surrounding area as possible. Lute can't see how many Orks are on the battlefield from where he is. But he can at least /guess/, from the number of explosions earlier, there are still more on the ground.

Which just leaves the two on the top. Lute lifts a Pokeball, this one pure black. Even on the band. He opens it, and smiles. He gives the Pokemon an order, before it even fully forms.

     "Registeel, uses Hyper Beam."

The giant (compared to a human, not an ork) metal Pokemon appears. And, immediately, it launches a powerful beam of energy, aimed straight at Spookums and Brikkfist.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Huh. So...yo momma jokes don't work on orks. Taylita makes a mental note as she is slammed by that big hunk of iron. Luckily for her, she is a saiyan, so it doesn't just crush her. It does, however, send her flying through the hole in the wall that she and Bluddflagg used to get in. She somersaults a few times, burning off momentum, then flies back in toward the giant ork.

Taylita starts flying circles around him, throwing kicks and punches at anything that seems like a vulnerable spot. The belly, the neck, the knee, the nose. She tries to use her quick movements to keep the big ork off balance, then somersaults around in front of him and dashes toward his stomach. She flips in the air, her hair and tail flowing in the wind, then plants a powerful kick in his gut. Which she follows up with another and another, trying to bicycle kick the ork back out of the building.

She wonders as she kicks about that old saying. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. What does that even mean? Obviously if they are bigger, they are going to hit the ground harder. Doesn't mean they will be any easier to beat.

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
It's inaccurate to say that the Orks haven't been damaged. There's blood rolling out of Spookums' head from the impact, and the shelling provoked some bleeding from the Kaptin, too. It's more accurate to say that the Orks don't care as much about damage as Lute does. That is, after all, their racial advantage - they're crazy, ludicrously durable murder machines in the shape of six-to-eight-foot giant green people.

This is proven yet again with Lute's crazy gambit. The Orks leap headfirst into the bubbles, the 'boompowda's eruptions either unheeded or unfeared. They are flung upwards into the air, whooping wildly as they rise - and then whooping even more wildly as they fall.

     Registeel starts to glow.

"OI, YAZ GITZ!" Mista Nailbrain roars, swinging the Deffgun around for Registeel's head, "LOOK OUT! DEY'Z GOTZ-"

Whatever Lute and Registeel 'gotz' is impossible to say. The sound of the Hyper Beam overwhelms the Orkish howls and roars singlehandedly. The pillar of light comes screaming at Brikkfist and Spookums, sure to detonate and tear them apart.

Brikkfist grabs Spookums by the collar and throws him. It's a shocking understanding of physics from creatures that can barely spell their own names, let alone write. Spookums goes flying forward, rolling to a stop in front of Lute. Despite sitting down, Spookums is probably still taller than he is.

Spookums opens his mouth and roars in Lute's face, a deafning WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH that will probably leave his ears ringing.

Meanwhile, Brikkfist gets clipped, heavily, by the hyper beam. It's actually less a 'clip' and more 'the removal of one of his legs en masse'. Had it not been for his well-timed throw, it might very well have been his entire body. With a howl of mixed pain and also enthusiasm, Brikkfist ignites his Rokkit, jumping forward into Registeel with clear intent to wrestle it to the ground.

"Zoggin' unbelievable!" Nailbrain complains as he switches targets to Giratina. Let Brikkfist make his own zoggin' mistakes.

Meanwhile, Taylita peppers the massive Kaptin with punches and kicks, seeking out vulnerable spots. The problem is, he doesn't seem to *have* any specifically vulnerable spots. The longer Taylita punches, the more she's probably going to doubt he even has *organs*. It's sort of like punching a giant, moving, angry fungus. Fist-and-foot-shaped impacts *are* appearing along Da Kaptin's body, though - he's clearly not invulnerable, just...not...vulnerable? The Ork clearly lacks the basics of human physiology. The sheer force Taylita's throwing would've killed anything less durable. Clearly, too, it's not that Taylita isn't having any effect - if she's paying careful attention, she might notice her hands are covered in goopy green Ork blood, and that the spots Imima left on Bluddflagg are deepening with every punch. It's just...he's huge, and durable, and doesn't move much, even if you punch him. He probably weighs a solid ton, maybe more with all that equipment.

Speaking of equipment, the Saiyan girl probably doesn't want to punch his face, though, on account of the giant razor-sharp jaw-protector.

Bluddflagg opens his mouth for another round of deafening WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!, which the Kommand Krew (Spookums, Nailbrain, and Brikkfist) join in, echoing down the street. He opens his tree-trunk arms wide, as if to embrace Taylita.

Then he attempts to do so, and, like a linebacker, begins running forward.

He presumably means to simply leverage his massive durability, size, and weight into the wall of the bank, despite his prolific bleeding.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Despite all the action going on outside, Taylita concentrates on Kaptin Bluddflagg. It isn't that hard, with him being so big and loud. And with him catching her in a warm embrace during her kicks. She grunts as she is caught and squeezed, but thanks to her being regular human size and Bluddflagg being huge, his arms do most of the wall breaking rather than her head. She ducks in against him, and as he crashes through the bank, a bright blue glow starts to build in her hands.

"Leeeet gooo!!" she exclaims as she slaps those hands against Bluddflagg's sides, and twin beams of searing blue energy launch from her palms, seeking to carve deep into the Kaptin. Though they do burn, they aren't like lasers. The impact would feel more like a set of oversized jackhammers trying to drill their way through the ork. She has angled her blasts so that if left unchecked, they would carve inward and likely meet in the middle. Which would result in a fairly powerful explosion. Even if he doesn't seem to have organs per se, surely an internal explosion would still be bad for him.

Lute (188) has posed:
Registeel lets out a roar of pride as its Hyper Beam manages to blast away a large chunk of the orc. This Registeel, a Shadow Pokemon, is essentially just a bestial animal intent only on destruction. It's only happy when it's destroying. As Brikkfist leaps forward to wrestle it to the ground, it stumbles, falling back a bit. It's not going to give up yet, though. It tries to push back at the Ork, using its own considerable strength to try and get it onto the ground instead.

The fire from Nailbrain manages to hit Giratina dead on. It leaks a mist of shadowy energy instead of blood. It lets out its own cry of anger in response to the pain. It's no Shadow Pokemon, but it is still an incredibly powerful Legendary Pokemon. And it's mad. It flies in, opening its mouth. A burst of Dragon Breath flies straight out, trying to burn at the Ork.

Lute, meanwhile, is having to deal with another problem. The roaring Spookums. Lute's ears are ringing due to the roar. But, Lute has an idea.

     "...Parley?"

He then whispers into his own radio, speaking directly to Mr. Crab's own radio.

"...Switch to target two. We'll let the Orks go for the bank, keep fighting Taylita, and we'll just... steal a different bank."

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
Ork flesh is *tough* to cut through, a fact the Imperium has learned over millenia of fighting them. Taylita's beams slice into Ork flesh, spewing green blood everywhere as whatever arcane system governs the Kaptin's body pumps it into overdrive. Green goop splatters all over Taylita, the bank floor, screaming and running patrons...pretty much everything. It's not pleasant. But before Taylita can force an internal explosion, Bluddflagg leaps upwards into the air with surprising speed.

He raises Taylita up as he smashes through the ceiling, scaring the bajesus out of some people on the second floor.

Then he swings her downwards in a spike, like a giant green football player. He lands over the teller's side with a nasty crash, glass stuck in his face like, well, thorns. Fourteen feet of Ork and metal come down into the tiles, skid free, and crash through the next wall of the building.

     He probably missed the vault.

"YA BE PRETTY TUFF, 'OOMIE!" The Warboss cheers, "PROPA ORKY, DAT DUFFIN'! BUT I BE AFRAID I BE NEEDIN' TA KRUMP YA IF'N I'Z TA GET DAT LOOT!"

Like a horror movie monster, Bluddflagg emerges through the hole he himself created by accident, one hand at a time. His single good eye, under his masive brow, is narrowed as a great toothy grin spreads across his face. The light catches his metal eyepatch and shines, brilliantly, like the eye of a terrible monster or a murderous machine.

"Unless yaz like ta surrenda, 'oomie. Dere's good krumpin' outside!"

Outside, Brikkfist realizes that he is slightly ill-at-ease with only one leg, as Registeel quickly inverts the pin and splats him. There's a nasty SQUELCH as Brikkfist is crushed, green blood pouring out of him and leaking into the cracks of the street and the flooding waters.

Then, with impossible strength, Brikkfist's arms push against Registeel, as if to lift and *throw* the giant golem backwards into the nearby water.

Meanwhile, MIsta Nailbrain, far less durable than the Stormboy or the Kommando, scrabbles into the Rokk for cover as Dragon Breath pours down the street, fusing asphalt together in an intant. Half the Rokk melts instantly, guns drooping and molten rock (rokk?) rolling down into the fused-together streets. From inside the Rokk, Nailbrain starts hammering whatever makes their guns go, sending explosive rocket-proppelled murder shells towards Giratina. Orks don't do things halfway.

In front of Lute, the massive Spookums just sort of stares at him.

Then, with another deafening shout, he roars, "KAPTIN! DIS 'OOMIE GIT WANTZ TA PARLEE!"

From inside the bank (and probably deafening Taylita, *again*), Bluddflagg roars, "DOEZ 'E BE WAVIN' A WHITE FLAG?! DAT'Z 'OW YA BE ABLE TA TELL 'E'Z PARLEEIN'!"

Spookums turns his baleful, massive purple form back to Lute.

"Da Kaptin wantz ta know if ya be 'avin' a white flag wiff which ta parlee."

Lute (188) has posed:
The Registeel is powerufl, but bestial. It doesn't know strategy. So, it doesn't understand what the Ork is doing as it makes the effort to actually throw it. It goes flying into the water. Lute, spotting this, pulls out Registeel's Pokeball. Recalling it.

Giratina is hit by the continued rocket fire. Each explosion bursts more and more of its body apart. But, it doesn't relent on its assault. It tries to move closer to Nailbrain, attempting to pin the Ork on the ground with its own massive body. Giratina is assuming the Ork won't try to fire at close range, due to the risk to the Ork being engulfed in the rocket fire too. Giratina doesn't know Orks very well.

     Lute looks at Spookums.

Holy shit he does know what Parley is.

Lute reaches into his pocket, pulling out a handkerchief. It's white, at least. Lute starts to wave it in the air.

"Yes I have the white flag. This is the white flag."

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita growls as she is yanked upward before she can finish off the captain. With green dripping off of her, she is smashed through the ceiling, then spiked into the ground. The impact causes a crater about twice her size to be formed in the bank floor, with Taylita laying at the center of it. Her teeth are clenched as she fights down the pain of the impact, then she coughs up a bit of blood before she slowly stands. "...ow..."

She has just made it back upright when the Kaptin emerges from that hole he just crashed through. She smirks at him, a bit of blood flowing down along her left eye. "Not if I krump you first." she says, then she leaps back where the sunlight covers her again. She holds her hands up above her, and her body starts to glow. Softly at first, then more and more brightly as she absorbs the sun's energy. "That guy might want to parley, but I give no quarter to enemies who pillage and murder." she says as she starts to glow brightly enough to blind.

Then, she twirls in place. When she returns to facing the Kaptin, she thrusts her hands forward. "Solar Beam!" A beam of pure, concentrated sunlight is fired toward the Kaptin. This attack -is- like a laser, albeit a destroy you from space type of laser. Except..you know, from only a few meters away. "Parley won't mean a thing if you are dead!"

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
The disappearance of Registeel leaves Brikkfist flabbergasted. He bounces to his foot, hopping up and down in the direction Registeel went. "OI! YA GIT! TELLYPORTAZ BE CHEATIN', DEY BE! DAT WUZ GOOD KRUMPIN!'

"Dat wuz good krumpin'," Brikkfist observes, dejectedly, before lifting a chunk of car door to lean upon, "Good krumpin' wuz 'ad."

Giratina does, in fact, not know orks very well. The Rokkit Fire continues furiously as the legendary pokemon collides with the half-melted Rokk, shaking it free of its melted-in position and rolling Nailbrain around under it furiously. Nailbrain's hands finally release the controls, primarily because, well, Giratina is *shaking it around* and Rokks don't have what one might call 'safety devices'. Orkish safety devices are sort of an oxymoron. Temporarily handled, Nailbrain shouts angrily, attempting to stabilize himself in the shaking 'vehicle'.

Spookums looks at the white flag. Well, Da Kaptin said that was for Parlee, so...clearly he's gonna parlee.

"Okay," Spookums agrees, pulling himself to his feet. He reaches for Lute's collar to tug him up onto his feet, too. Then Spookums takes the other side of the handkerchief in his hand and wiggles it. "Now I'z got a flag too. We'z gonna parlee-"

From the inside of the bank comes a massive flare of light. The windows blow outwards, smoke peeling upwards through the newfound holes.

Spookums looks over. Then he looks back at Lute. He seems remarkably unconcerned. "Da termz uv da Parlee iz dus: yaz gonna help us get da shiny gubbinz, an' we'z gonna give yaz a share uv 'em, or we'z gonna keep krumpin' yaz."

% Spookums pauses. "Also git yaz big Bug off Nailbrain, or da Kaptin'll be right zoggin' mad 'e will."

     Speaking of da Kaptin...

As the light and smoke fades from Taylita's explosive solar blast, three things become apparent. The first is that the hole in the wall is now substantially larger and blacker, smoldering with the force of concentrated sunlight.

The second is that Orks are a species that performs photosynthesis, because most of the area immediately *behind* Bluddflagg is completely untouched by the solar beam.

The third is that Bluddflagg has a massive hole in his chest. It isn't all the way through, of course, or the light would've hit the other side. But it is a deep, ugly gash right through the cavity, revealing some further interesting bits about Ork physiology. For example: they don't have internal organs like humans do. For another example: yes, they appear to have some complex system of fungus inside them. For yet another example:

     Bluddflagg is *not dead*.

"Oi," Bluddflagg grunts, "Dat zoggin' smarts."

Da Shootamajig rises into the air, a bit shakily, presumably due to the damage to his arm. In these close quarters, though, his Orkish disadvantage with range will probably be completely nullified.

The furious sound of DAKKADAKKADAKKDAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKA fils the air as Bluddflagg's Shootamajig erupts with rapid-fire, high-density explosive spread-shells, filling the hallway with destructive force. It's like somebody made an exploding flak cannon machine gun, or an exploding machine-shotgun, or...

Da Shootamajig's just nasty all the way around!

Taylita (180) has posed:
It's true. In these close quarters and using a flak gun, aim isn't that important. Of course, your opponent does have to be in front of you. And as soon as Bluddflagg raises that gun, Taylita rushes in toward him. She might take a couple of hits, leaving her bloodied, but like her orkish enemy, she is tough.

She rushes right toward that hole in the Kaptin, and as she rushes in, she launches more ki blasts. Explosions rock the Kaptin and the bank before Taylita somersaults and plants as powerful a kick as she can muster. She is starting to wonder if this guy can actually be killed. No organs, but lots of blood. No apparently reaction to being harmed, either. Sure, he said it hurt, but he doesn't -act- like he is in pain. Even with saiyans, you can tell when they are hurting.

But, being a saiyan also means Taylita is pretty darn stubborn. She won't give up until she absolutely has to. And right now, she think she can still deter them.

Lute (188) has posed:
The situation changes dramatically very fast. All by Lute saying one thing.

     "I agree to these terms."

With that, Giratina gets off of Nailbrain. He is incredibly injured, but this powerful Legendary Pokemon still floats up to rest on Mr. Crabs next to Lute. Even Imima is finally out of the water now, and moving to flank Mr. Crabs. The giant crab monster starts moving forward, walking towards the bank. And Lute smiles.

"Alright! I'm going to rip the treasure chest /right/ off the ground! And then we walk out of here, and split up the loot!"

And with that, Mr. Crabs starts reaching for the very foundation of the bank. This giant Kaiju is trying to lift the entire building, by its foundation, and the earth beneath it. It will take it some time. It will really push its strength, especially while it is so injured. But, given enough time? It will lift the entire bank off the ground, and then place it on its own back. Again, though, it will take some time.

But during this time? Lute will be getting ready to fight Taylita, and keep her from stopping them. He pulls out another Pokeball. This time, he opens it, and a Raichu appears on the ground. Lute has an idea to at least slow down Taylita should she try to interfere... Plus, Bluddflagg is likely keeping her busy...

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
"Da'z good," Spookums agrees, "Or we'd 'afta krump yaz." Spookums then stands, and, in the blink of an eye, vanishes. Of course he does, though. Have YOU ever seen a purple Ork? No, that'd be stupid.

Mista Nailbrain, the pressure no longer on the crumbling Rokk, stands up and retrieves his Deffgun, mumbling in Orkish the entire time. It sounds a lot like grunting. He levels the Deffgun at the bank over his shoulder, pointing the armor-piercing high-speed explosive directly at Taylita.

He fires. The rocket goes screaming through the hole in the bank, shrieking towards Taylita's back as she fires on Bluddflagg.

Bluddflagg, for whom dodging appears to be a foreign concept. It probably is. Explosives rain down upon him, ki hammering against broken body and bleeding form. The ki explosives tear huge chunks out of Bluddflagg's skin and arms, spraying that weird green goop everywhere.

Bluddflagg powers through the ki blasts. Whether by stubbornness, alien durability, fungal durability, or something else, the super-sized ork moves forward, grabbing at Taylita's leg. He has but one goal:

To swing the Saiyan directly into the path of vehicle-busting Deffgun.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita is grabbed again. She yelps in surprise. then again as she is hurled through the air. Being able to fly would help, but it is harder to sense an incoming bullet than it is to sense a ki blast. So, the vehicle-buster explodes against Taylita, who lets out a pained cry as she goes flying back toward the bank, her body basically ragdolling its way through the air until she finally crashes into the ground again.

She slowly rises, her already limited clothes barely covering anything anymore. Her tail twitches in annoyance, and her expression is still one of determination. But, even she realizes she cannot beat the combined force of Lute and the orks. So...she developes another plan. She suddenly rushes inside the bank, toward the back of the bank. She crashes through walls and hallways until she reaches the vault.

The others might think she is trying to hide, but she is actually planning on taking the vault to protect it from the thieves! She punches and blasts her way underneath, then uses her saiyan strength to lift it up and starts flying away, crashing through the roof with it above her head. "I won't let you take advantage of the people who entrusted this place with their livelihoods!" she calls out as she attempts to make off with the loot.

Lute (188) has posed:
Mr. Crabs simply keeps lifting the bank up, unhindered. It is, finally, on his back. The people, of course, were evacuating the bank as soon as they possibly could. As such the bank is likely more or less empty of people.

Of course, Taylita is now trying to flee with the vault. And Lute doesn't have much he can do about it. He's too busy directing Mr. Crabs on how to balance the bank itself. He'll let the Orks try to handle the Saiyan girl.

He mutters to himself, "Okay, worst case, we just steal a /different/ bank from nearby after she leaves."

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
Ha, ha. Flee with the vault. That's funny.

The thing about Orks is that they're relentless. Many an Imperium garrison has discovered that, much to their chagrin, an Ork invasion fleet that wants a planet will keep fighting until either every Ork's been killed, the planet's been conquered, or the Orks are satisfied by whatever primordial violence engine in their brain tells them they're happy. They are creatures of sublime, purified destruction incarnate, delighting in violence the way other creatures delight in their own carnal pleasures.

So, to satisfy that primal urge, and also to satisfy the equally primal urge of 'get loot', Bluddflagg stands up, dusts himself off, checks his wounds to confirm that he's not too hurt to keep fighting...and then goes *barreling* into Taylita. Those legs like tree-trunks pound the dirt thunderously as the ork spreads his meaty arms again, just like he did last time. But last time, Taylita wasn't lifting a gigantic lump of metal.

Orks are *fast*. Orks are *predators*. Orks are killing machines. Many people have also made the mistake of imagining Orks to be slow upon seeing their size, but slow creatures aren't threatening. Slow creatures aren't apex predators. Slow creatures are herbivores.

Orks are not herbivores. They may not be agile - dodging side to side, for example, eludes them, and an Ork who can dance is probably not an Ork with a k but a c - but they are *fast*, especially moving in a single line.

So, like a giant green locomotive, Bluddflagg charges Taylita for a body-check.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Vaults are heavy. And while Taylita is strong, she isn't -that- strong. She is aaaalmost clear when Bluddflagg comes charging in. Her eyes widen when that ork with a k comes crashing through the remains of the bank. "C-come on!" she grunts.

But, it is not enough. He runs by and with that steel-like cranium of his he impacts Taylita just before she is free and clear. It sends her crashing head over heels along the bank, and sends the vault crashing back down. Likely atop Bluddflagg. The impact is hard enough that Taylita is blasted through any walls that might have been in her way. She goes sailing in an arc toward the river, dust trailing behind her. With a splash, she lands in the river, and it is nearly a minute before she resurface, coughing and sputtering, near the shore. She manages to pull herself onto solid ground, then she collapses, panting heavily.

"...d-...dammit..." the red-headed saiyan groans as she watches the pirates and Lute make off with the loot.

Lute (188) has posed:
With Taylita defeated, Lute sighs in relief. This was an incredibly tough and chaotic battle, and everyone involved got hurt a fair amount. Mr. Crabs is set on a path out of town, via a land route. Once a bit more safely out of town, he will, of course, divide up the loot with the Orks. Giving them half of the money. Even if they are unlikely to understand what it is, at all. He'll also split the furniture, wall art, and whatnot with them as well, if they so desire. If need be, he'll even split the bank in half so they can have half the bank.

Really, Lute hasn't figured out what he plans to do with an entire bank yet, anyways.

But still. The battle is won. Civilian injuries were kept to a minimum. And Lute has a bit more cash to put towards funding his Pokemon Ranch.

And the Orks have some useless paper money.

Kaptin Bluddflagg (808) has posed:
LATER, IN THE RUINS OF THE BANK

The vast green form of Kaptin Bluddflagg enters the Central Valley First And National with a sack slung over his shoulder. Workers and tellers, remembering his last arrival, flinch instinctively. However, the massive green Warboss simply lumbers up and stands in the winding (emergency) line behind a number of humans and other species. He steps into the ropes and immediately gets entangled, though he doesn't seem to care.

Eventually, Bluddflagg's turn comes around. He walks up to the bank teller, trailing the velvet rope and most of its stands. The teller looks up at the hunched, fourteen-foot green figure, eyes wide.

Bluddflagg deposits the bank bag on the counter.

"Eskooz me, me 'arrrty," Bluddflagg's baritone booms, "I want yaz ta exchange diz fer a pile uv teef, if'n yaz pleez."

The teller looks at the bag. He looks at the ork. He looks at the bag. He look at the ork.

"...sir," the teller offers, suddenly sensing an opportunity, "Perhaps I could instead interest you in a checking account?"
