I am the Perfect Metis.

They raise me as a Garou, tell me I am special. Different. I am Metis, and must be kept away from the world, for they will see a monster. I must be kept away from my Tribe, for I am an abomination. I must be hidden, for many will seek to claim me, for death or for life.

They say I am important, that I am prophesied to save the world. They teach me of the Garou, of my people. Of our pure purpose, our hubris, our sins, our victories. They do not know I can sense the pain of the Triat within me, the madness of the Weaver, the sickening bile of the Wyrm, the pain and frailty of the Wyld. They do not know I can see their self-justification.

I know I have a purpose, though they have yet to give me a name. I know, for I feel it looming in my future, a wall past which I cannot see. Undefined, powerful.

It frightens me.

Mother, Father... help me.
