Synopsis: Tremors under a Crey facility? NOW what are they up to? Heroes investigate!
Cast of Characters: 560, 691, 769, 872

Demetrios Vasilikos (769) has posed:
Crey Industries is an awful corporation. There's probably individuals who aren't entirely bad, but with all the legalities and contracts and so on that someone has to agree to in order to learn anything important let alone actually be involved in the things that super heroes tend to have to fight against, you have to already be in really, really deep. Sparing sympathy for people who engage in highly unethical and highly illegal research, steal rival technological secrets during a crisis, kidnap people, and who-knows-what-else is not really viable. These are bad guys. Before they can have the chance to 'redeem themselves' first they have to be stopped and made to face justice for their crimes, in a court of law.

They can make ammends AFTER that.

So right now, in the trim and pristine suburbs of Woodvale, the fact that mysterious ground tremors centered on a Crey facility to the south-east are taking place is more than enough reason for heroes to investigate and find out what Crey are messing with THIS time. Because they're always messing with something. They even tried to claim credit for dealing with the Devouring Earth attacks that Shirou and his companions were the ones who took care of! Tried to say that the people dressed in Crey uniforms, using Crey technology, were all impostors from an unidentified 'rival' who were trying to give Crey a bad name!

Their PR department is either terrible or fantastic. Maybe both at once.

On top of that, Dr. Faith Maccabe informed those who have come to investigate that the Woodsman vanished the day after he was rescued from Portal Corporation's HQ. He'd been acting and looking quite unwell. As a nature-powered hero, attuned to the balance of the world around him, could it be that Crey somehow lured him to put a stop to their shenanigans by disrupting the natural world or something? It's a definite possibility.

There's four warehouse-like building situated on the four compass directions of a concrete lot. Crey operatives are swarming all over the place in a state of agitation. Whenever the heroes get close enough to see them, they should be aware that not only is something going on, but there's activity directly below their feet. Occasional small shocks and vibrations of movement. What's going on over here!?

Emiya Shirou (560) has posed:
Crey here, Crey there. Shirou's really surprised that nobody in a city full of superheroes is capable of exposing the crooked core of this incredibly inept and unethical corporation. Isn't there some kind of Super Prosecutor amidst all of them?

No, there's just nature guys in horned helmets.

Which is why he's finding himself puttering towards the northern-most warehouse on a junky motorcycle. There's a tremor not ten seconds after he lowers the kickstand and hops off. "What could anyone do that would shake the Earth?!"

Without wasting any time Shirou crouches and slaps a hand against the pavement. "Trace... on."

A PULSE of prana flows from his palm through the pavement and down further into the ground, much like ultrasound imaging, to return a picture of the structure below. His range is not so good though... just a handful of meters down. That might or might not tell him anything.

Shadowed Aesthetic (872) has posed:
Goodness, look at all the goons. Perfect for someone to get lost in, provided one could find a way to blend in. Shadowed Aesthetic of Quicksilver was created specifically for that sort of stealth, the infiltration of groups. He has his human camouflage on, so he looks like a thin, pale-skinned human being with dark, blue-black hair and blue-and-white robes. He's very androgynous in any of his disguises, however.

He has no uniform, which he needs to fix. So as Shirou heads for the northernmost warehouse, the Moonsilver Caste spy heads around the property to the easternmost one. He's good at being quiet. And then he finds a place he can observe the mooks for a few moments. Which may end up being /on top of/ the warehouse. But he'll find a place.

What's he looking for? He's watching the mooks' movement patterns. Are there patterns? Or are they just milling about randomly? Are they making frequent stops at a particular place? And more importantly, can he hear the Crey people below talking about anything in particular? He activates his Tympanal Receptor Nodes, granting him the superhuman-level hearing that he hopes will be able to pick up some of the conversations below.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
How to get into the building? Yari might not be able to change her facial features or be a walking hall of technology, but she has her ways. A utility van in an annoying shade of beige pulls up to the southern building, the side of it reading 'Zoro's Heating and Plumbing'. Should she be stopped by anyone? Yari will roll down the window with a bored expression on her face, and flash a workorder. Busted ventilation, and your typical jeans and workman's shirt and hat with a coat on.

Sometimes going to the classic methods of breaking and entering is appropriate.

She will radio the other heroes when no one's listening though.

Demetrios Vasilikos (769) has posed:
Shirou greatly underestimates the power of money upon politics and even law enforcement. Corruption such as Crey's runs deep, even as heroes work to expose the connections between the company and so many crimes. However, as people consider or actively attempt to infiltrate the Crey facility, the tremors increase and increase in violence... Shirou may be the first to notice. Those tunnels he detected the day before the Devouring Earth attacked. Tunnels for small burrowing animals, unused for years. There are now much, much, much bigger tunnels. And they are full of Things.

What they were missing. They were missing something during that initial investigation, and now they know what it is. The disturbances the Woodsman felt.

As Shadowed Aesthetic listens in, he hears the following exchange.

"I can't pinpoint the source of it. It's like it's moving around." one Researcher says as he waves some sort of hand-held device around, scanning with a green beam along the ground.

"You'd better find it. The company isn't going to be happy if there's any more loss of assets." a Geneticist responds.

"Then maybe you'd better start helping out!" the first scientist retorts.

Huh... So Crey doesn't know what's going on either? Wait, does that mean they AREN'T the cause of it?

As Yari pulls up, just as a Paragon Protector, a metahuman in a blue and gold uniform with face-concealing gold mask, turns to look towards the van, a giant stone spire erupts from the center of the compound! It sends the Researcher and Geneticist who were standing nearby flying through the air, likely already unconscious! Attention is turned away from Yari, and of course Shadowed Aesthetic isn't spotted either in the following commotion... The ground around that spire starts to break and heave as something pushes upwards from below... And then....

Creatures of rock punch through the pavement and start pulling themselves up onto the surface! They are followed quickly by creatures of crystal, which start shooting jagged shards of gems at the Crey around them. Calls of alarm echo around the area, and gunfire wars with the roars of Devouring Earth monsters!

Well, it seems Crey wasn't up to something! Maybe! It's a first if it's true. But Devouring Earth are now INSIDE Woodvale, even if only within a Crey compound. It's a very short walk for these monsters to reach the homes and businesses of the rest of the town. They need to be stopped here and now! Maybe their invasion can be cut off at the source if someone gets inside those tunnels somehow...

...Though fighting them here on the surface is also needed!

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
The creatures erupt from beneath the earth! Yari's truck wobbles from the shaking, and the woman quickly abandons it, throwing off her hat. Opening the back of the van, she pulls out a large duffel bag, and then she shuts them right back. As Crey employees open up, Yari takes cover from any stray shots behind the van just after it tips over on its side.

She quickly calls the others over the radio, before pulling out a kunai. It has a round object attached. Yoink. A pin falls, and then the ninjette tosses the kunai at a group of the rock monsters.

Several handseals later, and they multiply, just as the grenades go off with dull crumps of explosions!

Then with that distraction, she's dashing for one of the tunnels the creatures came from, searching for the source of it all!

Shadowed Aesthetic (872) has posed:
Interesting. So Crey doesn't know what's going on here, either. Quietly he speaks into his radio, "It seems they don't know what's going on, either." Suddenly the earth begins to crack and the spire of earth shoots up through the ground. Shadowed Aesthetic blinks, watching as the creatures begin to pour our of the ground. "...They do now~," he sing-songs over the radio.

Humor aside, when the creatures start coming up out of the ground, Shadowed Aesthetic switches his Tympanal Receptor Nodes off. They're a little moot at the moment, he can see the trouble. Creatures made of crystal and rock. That's going to be difficult; his only weapon cuts, and creatures with skin as hard as stone are probably not going to fall too easily to cutting damage.

Well, he does have an extra bit of assistance for survivability. Firstly, though, he drops the disguise. He's no longer the weirdest thing here, so there's no need in hiding what he is. Besides, those motes can go to something else. He shows his true face... he is an artificially-created being made of silvery metal and white, opalescent stone, with chrome-colored eyes, long hair like fine strands of blue steel, and a brilliant-cut diamond set in a bright silver setting imbedded in his forehead.

Then he crosses his arms at the wrists briefly, bumping his wrists together... and a translucent, glowing blue forcefield covers him. It detects sharply magical, whatever it is, and makes him look as though his whole body is glowing with a silvery, blue-white aura. That done he draws the pair of red fans from his sides and opens them, with a snap. And then he dives down from above, robe fluttering around him, and starts fighting the creatures as best as he can.

His style is dancelike and very mobile. Shadowed Aesthetic is extremely quick, extremely nimble. With his skill, it should keep him mostly safe. And that Essence shield should add some protection in case he slips up. Hopefully he won't...

Emiya Shirou (560) has posed:
Shirou... FROWNS. Those tunnels WERE important after all, maybe! There shouldn't be big tunnels under concrete and they shouldn't be full of things. It fills him with a top-grade Bad Feeling--

    KABOOOOOOM!

"Gah!" He simply LEAPS away from the lot, traveling a whole eight meters in one leap backwards. Immediately his gaze locks onto the spire... and Shirou decides to leap again, landing atop the north warehouse's roof for a vantage point. His Japanese-style bow made of black futuristic polymers materializes quickly. An enormous and unusually thick arrow - a 'Dragonslayer Great Arrow' of Lordran make. Power flows through Shirou's arms and torso, along with the bow and arrow. They're all reinforced, pumped full of prana to enhance their properties.

The bow's draw force and string's snap-back are multiplied many times over. The arrow's durability too, and the penetrating power of its tip magnified by hardening. If his arms weren't also reinforced for super strength, he wouldn't be drawing this thing...

His string is released with a WHUNK... yes, WHUNK. the arrow is simply THAT HEAVY.

one of the bigger crystal creatures is his target, and this arrow's going to hit with a force like Thor's hammer! Against the raw pavement, it would almost certainly slam through a hundred feet of ground and leave the surface cratered several meters around. That is a LOT of force!

Demetrios Vasilikos (769) has posed:
The explosions from Yari seem to do extra damage to the crystalline enemies, and the explosions among the Crey agents and the monsters alike do a good job of keeping them off-balance. When Shadowed Aesthetic then jumps down and starts beating up monsters as well (though he may also have to deal with stray attacks from Crey operatives who see the hero as being just as much of a threat as the Devouring Earth), there's far too much going on for Yari to be noticed as she sneaks into... A hole filled with monsters, all trying to work their way up to the surface. Oops.

Just then Shirou releases an arrow that explodes against some of the monsters on the surface, destroying a couple of boulder piles and scattering crystalline monsters into tiny fragments. Thankfully, for once none of them spawn miniature versions of themselves to continue the fight. Those things are annoying! Even more thankfully, the shockwave and tremors knock several monsters of rock and crystal trying to climb their way up back down, affording Yari a gap she can use to get down into the tunnels without being attacked and start trying to find a good point to collapse the passage!

There's some magic energy flowing through the area that wasn't around before... Maybe those present aren't well-suited to sensing it, but it's there regardless. The Devouring Earth aren't a magical enemy group. It's unclear HOW they work if not by magic. And yet now magic accompanies them for some reason. Weird!

Boulders are thrown Shirou's way, though with poor accuracy, and if Shadowed Aesthetic chooses to join Yari below to cover her while she blows up the tunnels, to fight upon the surface, or to do something else, she currently has a window of opportunity while the enemies are busy fighting on multiple fronts!

Shadowed Aesthetic (872) has posed:
And this is why Shadowed Aesthetic turned that forcefield on, because he figured he was going to end up taking flak from both sides. Literally, in this case, since bullets ping off his forcefield. A few even make it through, being of sufficient strength to get through, and he gives a sound that's half yelp and half hiss. He frowns at the Crey operatives. "Oh now, is that any way to treat someone who's killing your enemies for you?" he chastises. "How very rude of you."

But that's fine. If the Crey operatives are in his way... well, he'll just cut through them too. Those fans are bladed, and while they may not cut rock very well (the crystal they should at least be able to cut, like a gem-cutter's tool; those fan ribs ARE made of moonsilver, after all), they'll probably do just fine on the Crey operatives. Which means there may be lots of mediporting!

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Thank the Emperor for exploding arrows of doom. The ninja is nearly knocked to her bum, but at least now she's not being mauled by monsters. She rushes past them with ninja speed, leaping and kicking hard to keep the down, bouncing from them in a blurr of flips, ducks, and motion. Eyeing the odd growths, and the tickling at her senses, she turns on her magitek gauntlet. Heavy aether signatures, and the type is fairly obvious.

For now she's down to searching for a good choke point to blow the tunnels, a kunai readied in case of more rock-monster attacks! That satchel with the explovices on her shoulder.

Emiya Shirou (560) has posed:
Throwing boulders? That's easily to deal with! Shirou just leaps backwards across the roof. Anything thrown like that is not a threat at his angle, he's got the higher ground!

However, that's going to be HELL on the rooftop. A few boulders come CLOSE, one of them slamming into the roof and breaking through! "whoah-wh-AWAGHK!"

and down he goes through a pile of debris, down into the building... owwwwww!

Demetrios Vasilikos (769) has posed:
"Don't interfere, freak!" is the reply from a Crey Cryo Tank as the power-armored operative encases his fists in ice and takes swings at Shadowed Aesthetic! What the heck!? Guess no bad guys like the good guys! Thankfully(ish), a mushroom-like Devouring Earth monster emerges and throws a spore bomb at both Shadowed and the Cryo Tank, dousing both in toxic material that has the Cryo Tank at least gagging as the microscopic elements go right through his air filters and start suffocating him from the inside out! Meanwhile, Shadowed Aesthetic's force field and skill with the bladed fans takes down a couple of enemies, but proves to be most effective against the Fungoids that now rise out of the hole to provide buffing mushrooms for their allies. Sharp weaponry appears to be their weakness!

Yari's ninja speed and martial arts skills allow her to take down some of the already-damaged monsters and disable fresher ones to keep them from following her as she chases down the origin point for the invasion... There are monsters all over, and many of them respond quite aggressively to her, but in the end, she comes to a central opening that seems to have been widened by a multitude of vines... Maybe that's how these tunnels were expanded enough to allow monsters inside. Their original construction was by small rodents, but plant vines, if directed properly could worm their way through and gradually expand them!

The source of magical energy is stronger beyond this point, and the influx of monstrous reinforcements even denser. Mutated things with squirming, wormy-looking maws are directing a veritable river of mushroom monsters, rock monsters, crystal monsters, and vine monsters. And from the smell of water, they may have dug right under the river known as the Serpentine, which cuts through the middle of Woodvale. Those moist river banks would have been easy for monsters like these to burrow through.

Shirou's evasion is most successful, except for that last fall into the warehouse. Where he finds all manner of machinery, crates, barrels of industrial coolant, and some very surprised scientists. A blue-and-gold garbed Paragon Protector comes flying down to land in front of him, springs a pair of triple-claws from the backs of his hands and says, "You're trespassing, kid." before pointing towards the exit and showing quite clearly he's going to make sure Shirou gets there and out that door without taking the time to inspect anything too closely.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Arriving at the most logical destination, Yari takes a moment to survey the area. She stays hidden, keeping to the darkness below, and snaps a few pictures with her armlet. Then, she's carefully laying out C4. It's probably overkill, but she needs to be sure. After a few more magical readings, she radios the others, then starts making her way back towards the surface!

Only once she's out of the potential blast radius does she count down, and then press a button on a remote trigger, and the sound of explosives going off fills the area, Yari rushing off to go escape the tunnel system and rejoin the fight above!

Emiya Shirou (560) has posed:
It's just one crazy issue after another. The groaning amber-eyed young man's in the process of picking himself up through the debris... but his barely honed combat instincts SCREAM at him. Breathless, he panic-leaps back away from the Protector moments before he lands and goes skidding across the ground... only to rise, look left and right, then face the protector again, frowning INTENSELY.

"What kind of guard are you?! Those weapons would make mincemeat of those monsters and you're in here!? Them spreading beyond the compound means people will die!" He shouts back, miffed beyond belief!

"Everyone in here should be taking cover or joining the fight!"

Geeze, he doesn't have time for this unfriendly corporation's antics. He leaps over some crates towards the exit, still fuming inside over the audacity of that protector.

    Some Protector.

"My body is made of swords,
A shell of steel with fire for blood!
I have created over a thousand blades,
    Never retreating, never tasting victory..."

He chants the words heatedly on his plunge out. Kanshou and Bakuya flicker into existence in his grasp.

His intent is pretty clear. Burst out into the thick of everything and trap the devouring Earth by surprise in Unlimited Blade Works for an area devastation!

Shadowed Aesthetic (872) has posed:
Something big and heavy like a tank is liable to be slow, right? Shadowed Aesthetic turns his attention to dodging those blows. And if possible, getting that big bruiser to hit some of the rock and crystal monsters. He's extremely fast. Particularly as he starts to feed Essence into his Dexterity Augmentation! He's started to channel enough Essence, in fact, that blue-white sparks begin to crackle around that clear gem in the center of his forehead! So no, he's not hiding right now. He probably couldn't if he tried!

And then that mushroom creature spits spores all over the place! Ew! But Shadowed Aesthetic remembers what's been said about it over the radio and just... doesn't breath. He doesn't need to except to speak. Though this leaves him in the rather unfortunate position of not being able to report his condition until he gets out of the area of the cloud of spores.

Then again, his bladed fans seem to be making short work of them. So, since he's not as susceptible to the spores, he stays there for the time being to fight the mushrooms, so Shirou and the Centurion don't have to. The guy who's choking? He can continue to choke for all the Alchemical cares.

Yari's contact over the radio makes the urgency of the situation known. Explosives have been placed, and Shadowed Aesthetic doesn't need to be in their area. He needs to finish this fast, and these things need to die. And so... something ELSE happens. The silvery aura around him seems to increase, and the Mirrorblade's limbs begin to blur as he moves. His body ducks and twirls, arms swinging the bladed fans in practiced swings, leaving afterimages to human sight.

Not only that, but as he moves, whenever he steps, glowing spots of silver are left behind. He swings an arm and silvery glitter seems to follow it, only to drop to the ground like tiny raindrops of silver when they lose momentum. He steps to the side and a silver-glittered footprint is left behind. The little silvery drops reflect the light of the Essence sparks, though not enough to be detrimental to the sight. It IS enough, however, to look really impressive. If it were just a dance, it would be quite a show. But then... there's death at the end of those graceful moves.

Demetrios Vasilikos (769) has posed:
Yari's explosion is a success! There's still plenty of Devouring Earth creatures in the tunnels, and the feel of 'nature' down here, calming even in the midst of terrifying Things without faces lunging at her in the dark, remains... But the passage they were using to get underneath all the concrete and plumbing and so forth and into Woodvale is now closed off. Only the ones remaining on THIS side of the devastating cave-in have to be dealt with now. But Yari may have caught something when she was taking photos. Something that might not show up until the pictures are analyzed later on...

    Something quite worrisome.

Meanwhile, the Paragon Protector only has one response to Shirou's condemnation. "I'm protecting what matters." Well, if the stuff in here is dangerous, they probably don't want it spreading all over the place! After all, just look at Crey's Folly! ...Which was entirely their fault, so they can't really be seen as the 'good guys' here by trying to protect toxic who-knows-what that shouldn't even be here in the first place most likely. BUT HEY. At least it's one less thing for heroes to worry about if they're busy evacuating all this crap to a location far away from civilians and the monsters that could break it all open!

Shirou probably doesn't have time to even consider Crey as anything other than as a group to be disgusted by, and their self-serving 'heroic act' wouldn't really justify anything else they're doing since it would entirely be to avoid implication in anything illegal not because they actually CARE about the citizens of Woodvale. And so it is that the young hero goes out to prepare to eliminate the remaining monsters with his ultimate weapon!

Shadowed Aesthetic is quick to evade, managing to avoid getting nailed by those ice-encased fists. And when the power-armored enemy is Held by spores moments later, he stops being relevant. The Alchemical's dance of death as he whirls about slashing monsters to pieces helps to whittle down those on the surface, to the extent that there aren't really any left above ground when he's done, and most Crey are taken out as well if they were being targetted as well. None of the enemies can keep up with his dazzling speed and shining display, and enemy after enemy is defeated. Those who live fade out of existence after awhile, while those who are not remain.

The ones in the tunnel below are the only active enemies remaining, and with Shirou's big guns about to be unleashed, they probably won't last long. The Devouring Earth are tough, seemingly have little concern for their own well-being, and devoted solely to killing all humans they encounter. But that hatred of humans may extend to 'life that is not of the Devouring Earth'. There's no reason to assume that they'd stop this invasion even if every human were evacuated from the entirety of Primal Earth. So there's no reason to feel bad for the stranded monsters, as Yari successfully makes it to the breach in the ground, and can escape as she pleased, right as Shirou is prepared to unleash his Reality Marble and finish the invaders off!

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Yari makes her exit with a leap out of the underground hole she initially leapt into. The lizard-woman is just in time to be caught up in Shirou's reality marble, blinks and clearly caught off guard. Watching the boy go, she starts to take aetheric measurements, offering a few well-tossed kunai or low-yield grenades as appropriate, but mostly trying to study this great work of magic.

She looks absolutely intrigued, for better (or more likely) worse.

Emiya Shirou (560) has posed:
Shirou almost falters the moment he's out the door and sees that most of the Devouring Earth have been handily dealt with. But a few heartbeats later, his fierce chant continues. Emerald bolts of wild prana stream from his hands and shoulders, splaying out across the ground, which seems to crack and shine with red light.

"I stand atop a hill of swords,
    Forging weapons from my flesh!
This lonely path needs no reward...

My whole life is UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS!"

Its name called, the world of swords within Shirou's soul responds.

Magic doesn't really NEED chants and lengthy spells. It's because the human spirit and mind is weak that such things help. Each line aligned Shirou's spirit and Magic Circuits for a rather complicated feat of Magecraft indeed!

A heatless haze instantaneously spreads through the plaza and DOWN, down down DOWN as far as he can reach. He has little control of who or what is pulled in besides extending the Boundary Field to its limits, but he definitely wants as many Devouring Earth as possible1

Shadowed Aesthetic, Yari, and any other fighters in the Plaza will almost surely be pulled in. There's a lurching sensation, everything goes a brilliant white... and when reality tunes back in...

The plaza's gone, replaced with an endless world baked hard by a magnificent twilight sky that lacks a sun. Iron-rich red earth, dry and cracked stretches as far as the eye can see, impaled with all manner of medieval melee weaponry. Swords, mostly, but there's the occasional spear, mace, glaive...

    "Let's end this crazy crisis!"

Shirou wastes no time. With a single gesture, as though commanding an army to charge, he wills a thousand gleaming blades to move. They rip free of the ground, soar high into the heavens... then rain down lethally on every concentration of Devouring Earth forces he can detect within his world!

Shadowed Aesthetic (872) has posed:
Shadowed Aesthetic targets anything that attacks him. As far as he's concerned, anything that attacks him is an enemy, and with all this chaos, there's not a lot of time for him to separate targets. There IS, however, time for him not to strike immediately fatal wounds to the Crey operatives. There had been talk of taking it easy on human targets here beforehand. Besides that, Shadowed Aesthetic is a servant of the Populat, and it's kind of ingrained in him to go easy on people.

Their little toys, though? Those power armors and guns and whatnot? If he can cut them up, he will. And just to taunt them (because stealth is right out, with the Essence display he's emitting), he says exactly that. "Clearly you children don't need to have such dangerous toys, because you're simply not responsible enough to use them properly. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to take them away~."

Then suddenly Shirou's Reality Marble happens! Shadowed Aesthetic is quick enough not to fall on his face, but the sight of the sudden change in direction takes him off guard. he's still emitting energy, but he pauses, as if confused. Right up until the swords start raining down. "Goodness~!" But he recognizes that the battle is not yet over. It almost is, but not quite.

So he just continues on his destructive spree. Whatever few creatures Shirou's sword rain doesn't obliterate, he will help along. Impaled by blades from the sky or sliced open by bladed moonsilver fans. Or both. What a way to go.

Oh yes. As Yari comes back up from the tunnels, she may begin to sense the high amounts of magic Shadowed Aesthetic is emitting. If she chooses to examine it further with her armlet, it may parse something like water-elemental magic. But not quite. Moonsilver Caste, after all, are aligned with the Autochthonian element of Oil, more-or-less equivalent to Water. But it would probably be somewhat off.

Demetrios Vasilikos (769) has posed:
Between Shirou trapping all the Devouring Earth underground within his Reality Marble (which moves them aboveground in the process by the reshaping of their world) and then bombarding them with swords of every description, and Shadowed Aesthetic disarming all the Crey still in he fight and then defeating them, on top of Yari's efforts to shut down the underground tunnel that allows enemies inside and thus preventing any reinforcements, it's not long before the attack is over with. Some monsters are due to be picked up by researchers (the good kind, like MAGI, SERAPH, and GIFT. Organizations associated with the heroes who provide them with contacts, training, equipment, and analysis of mission info, etc.), the ones who survived have already been sent to holding facilities to be analyzed, and the human criminals are already being treated and prepared for processing in the justice system.

    Dun DUN dunnnn... DUN!

    MISSION COMPLETE
