Synopsis:	Kari shows Alden around her Master's apartment. Alden asks Zarenna for some help with a long-standing problem.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Techno Urbania, the high tech urban center, with high-rises and hovercars. In one such high-rise lives Zarenna and her two shinki 'daughters', and Alden has been invited to the clean apartment, filled with accents in black, white, and chrome. The countertop is wood of some kind, and the carpet is a tan-brown, adding some color to the otherwise very stark and cold contrasts of the main three colors. It seems that Kari and Harriet keep the place pretty spotless. The door has a smaller dog-door type opening in it, secured with an electronic lock to prevent unwanted visitors of the four-legged kind.
    If Alden looks carefully, he will notice patches of wall that aren't quite the same color, in the shape of a boot about the same scale as they would be for Harriet.
    Harriet herself is sitting on a desk reading, while Kari is showing Alden all the nifty things, even though the apartment is kind of small for a human.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden was happy to admire the toys and nifty, futuristic things the shinkies and Zarana had!. He was following Kari around, "You have really nice things." he says happily, tail wagging slowly. "Why are there boot marks on the walls?" he asks softly, casually, as he bites on a bit of food.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    "This is all Master's stuff!" Kari says with enthusiasm.
    Kari quietly points at Harriet. "She bounced off the walls a lot practicing when she was first brought home." Kari whispers to Alden. Harriet doesn't seem to notice, nor does the robotic rabbit that follows the larger shinki everywhere.
    Meanwhile, the vacuum robot is pointed out by Kari, keeping itself parked neatly under the corner of the couch until it was scheduled to vacuum. "That's the roomba! It does most of the vacuuming in the apartment! The floors, I mean. It doesn't have legs like Harriet and me!"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden nods a few times, reaching to pet Kari, before turning to peek at Harriet, "What is that little bunny?" he asks, meaning the robot rabbit of course. He is not too familiar with technology, so he is amazed by things like the vacuum robot, leaning down to peek at it, "Nice!" he says softly, his tail wagging. "I should get one of those for my place." he says softly, smiling, "What do you two do for fun when you are not getting into trouble with octomons in malls, or against monsters?"

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari uhs... "I build things! Master set up a little workshop for me in the car hangar. Harriet reads a lot and practices her gymnastics." She finally says.
    "Wanna see some of the stuff I've built, Alden?" Kari says, making her way to a little stairway off to the side that leads downward.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari explains the rabbit. "Oh, that's Harriet's familiar! It follows her around and turns into her armor. Master decided that her own custom shinki should have cool robot companions called 'familiars' that turn into their armor."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden seems amazed to hear that about the robot bunny!, he inches just a bit for a better look, but decides it might be dangerous to disturb it!, plus Harried seems content just reading. So, the digimon turns around to face the other Shinki with a grin, moving to pet Kari, "That sounds really cool." he says with a grin. He considers a few moments, "So you build stuff? can you show me?"

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari bwees happily at the pettings. "Yeah! It's not as good as the stuff Master builds! I mean... she built Harriet! And Harriet is pretty awesome work!" She says as she hops down the stairs in the garage.
    The car hangar/garage is clearly meant to house two hovercars, but currently there are none (Zarenna is at work, so the teal hovercar is not present). In the space where the other car /would/ be is what looks like a shinki-sized multi-level workshop. There's tools lying around, mostly things like sticks of glue, bottles of white glue, staplers, scissors, and craft knives. But there is at least one dangerous looking tool labeled DANGER and having a yellow triangle with what looks like a laser beam thingy inside it.
    Kari holds up the laser cutter. "This was given to me by Mister Nine as a welcome gift when I joined the Confederate Elites! It's for cutting metal and tough stuff like concrete."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden follows to the garage and the little workshop, peeking inside at the craftmanship tools. It all looks so harmless!.. except the laser. He looks at the cuter, "Wow, that is handy!... and dangerous." he says, "Hope you didn't break anything with it." he says playfully, his tail twitching. "What kind of things do you build, Kari?"

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari ummms... "Well, I helped build the workshop! I cut the panels with the laser cutter, and Master welded the pieces together. I also build cardboard forts and then Harriet and I play wargames in them on the balcony!"
    "One day I wanna make a cardboard city and make a monster movie." Kari seems to pause for a moment. "Did you wanna play the giant stompy monster, Alden?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden smiles and nods, "I see!, that sounds fun." he says, wagging, "I'd love to play with you two sometime." he says, rumbling and petting the cute Shinki again, admiring the tools. "You want me to be the monster?" he asks, tilting his head and smiling, "Sure, remember I can be even bigger!."he says, clearly amused at the idea, "But, I'd love to be your monster for the movie." he says.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari gets a thoughtful look on her face as Alden explains that he can get bigger. "Oh right..." And she grins as she thinks about the possibilities.
    The hangar door opens, with warning lights coming on to indicate that the occupants should stay clear of the landing zones in the unoccupied space. The smallish teal hovercar manuevers in, guided by the computers. It lands, power down as its occupant steps out. The purple and green haired human is otherwise unremarkable, but this is definitely Kari and Harriet's master. Zarenna Keras.
    She walks over to Kari and Alden with a smile. "Evening Alden. Nice to see Kari is socializing with somebody other than just Harriet." She reaches down and pats the Gabumon's head.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden grins, "Yep!, I can show you the forms again if you want." he says softly, wagging rapidly. The lights and the hangar movements makes him get out of teh way, watching the hover car curiously, before moving to greet Zarenna, "Hi!" he saysd happily, rumbling loudly at the petting, "Evening." he ads, tail wagging, pondering a bit about something, "Kari told me you are really good building things!" he says.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari hops atop Zarenna's shoulder and hugs the human, making bwee! sounds as she does so. "Welcome home, Master!"
    Zarenna pats Kari on the head. "Well, my job is research and development for the Confederacy, Alden. I design and build robots like Kari and Harriet. I can't talk about specifics for security reasons, but it's very detailed work." The woman sets Kari down on the upper level of the mini-workshop. "Did you two build anything?" Zarenna means Alden and Kari.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden chuckles at teh cute scene, wagging his tail, "No worries, was not asking for specifics." he says happily, before tilting his head, "But, I was wondering about something?" he asks to the clearly smart woman. "I am trying to figure a way to be able to handle a device, and some cards, without using my hands." he asks.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Zarenna hmmms? "I suppose it's doable. I'd have to get clearance to bring you to the Citadel to study your device and figure out how it works though, Alden. And I'm sorry but you'll have to travel inside the Citadel in an uncomfortable box for security reasons. They won't want you to see any of the other projects going on since you're not a member of the Confederacy. Well, if you want to join up that'd be a different story!"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden tilts his head a bit, "Really?, I admit that I don't know much about electronic things or building stuff." he says softly, rubbing his chin. "Well, if the goal is to transport me without seeing around, i can think of an easier way, but I do need your word about it being safe." he says softly. The mention about joining makes him chuckle, "Been thinking about joining actually."

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Zarenna shrugs. "Safe how, Alden? I'm not a high-ranking type, so I can't really... 100% guarantee safety. Plus you'd be in the R&D department, there's a lot of dangerous stuff down there even for people that work down there."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden rubs his head, "Well, I mean that my device won't be stolen or tampered with while getting there... I am ok with examination of the device, but I prefer nothing bad happened to it." he says. "What I meant about easier way to travel is... I heard of these things pokeballs... if you are familair with them?... my D-arc... the device in question... can actually work like one for me."

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    "Ooooh, I see. Yeah, that'd work, but they'd still make me carry it into the lab in a cage that blocks all sorts of emissions, Alden. Would that be a problem?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden smiles, "Hmm, as long as you give me enough room to get out, once we get there, I don't think there is an issue." he says, "Tho I'd prefer to stay near it, being disconnected from it for long is a bit unsettling."

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    Kari busies herself making a cut out of a cityscape from cardboard.
    "Well, the box is just to transport it into the lab. We'd have to take it out afterwards in order to figure out how to make the thing you want." Zarenna glances at Kari. "Or you could adopt a shinki to swipe cards for you. There's lots of orphaned shinki who wish they had new masters to help."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden perks his 'ears' (how does he do that?, those are not his real ears!) at the mention of the shinki, "Well, I am still intrigued on how my device works." he begins, before looking around at Kari, "Really?" he asks, before sneaking a bit closer to whisper a question, "Are they... hard to mantain?, I am not very good with machines." he says softly, "And I never had to take care of anything besides meat plants." he says. Still, it is obvious he is taking a shine to the idea.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
    "The company that makes them provides basic maintenance service, and I'd be happy to help out with anything more complex since you're Kari's friend." Zarenna says.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden nods a few times, and spends a while talking with Zarenna about Shinkis, manteniance and other stuff.
