Cast of Characters: | 188, Fuki |
- Fuki has posed:
Afternoon at the Bayview beach cottages and Fuki's out and about in her kimono and human body today, a smile upon her face as she faces the ocean. Upon the obi, there's more than one Pokeball now, there's four attached to it and one in her hand. "Alright, Ria. Let's GO!" and with a toss, a longer dragon-like pokemon comes materalizing.
<Hello, Fuki! Is it time for more training?> comes Ria's voice, a happy look in her face, <You've gotten stronger, I'm happy you're my trainer.> Fuki's smile goes even wider, finally, something might be going right. Her Coeurl left... and her behemoth finally escaped... but at least she had the pokemon. "Alright, let's run through some moves okay?"
Fuki pulls out her pokedex and takes a look at it... a brief nod. "Okay, let's try Iron Tail. Try making a good size wave in the ocean."
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute approaches from the ocean, riding upon Imima. The I-Class Destroyer rushes across the surface of the water, Lute taking on a sort of surfing-pose as he does so. His arms are held out to help him keep balance, his eyes looking ahead. He's wearing his standard beachware. His labcoat... And a speedo. Once near the beach, he leaps off, flying through the air, trying to do a midair flip as he does so.
He lands facefirst in a sandcastle.
He immediately pulls himself up, wipes off his face, and acts like he meant to do that. He smiles, looking towards Fuki, still happy that she is making such good use of her human-scale body.He slides his hands into his labcoat pockets, approaching her, moving to give her a small kiss on the cheek.
"Hey~. How is the training going?" A glance towards Ria, "...Looks like you've made a /lot/ of progress."
- Fuki has posed:
Ria's tail glows brightly, the steel type attack slamming right into the water and a small wave comes barreling through. "Good. Again, this time, more power to it." Ria nods and starts to repeat it once more... at least until a human goes flying off some sort of strange shark... or shark like thing. And... the faceplant. Both Fuki and Ria sigh and shake their head before going back to training.
Fuki gives another look to the person... and she recognizes that peculiar person... And there's that kiss upon her cheek to which she returns back to Lute. This kiss is actually a tender one, a good to see you again one. "It's going." she comments, "Ria's gotten bigger and evolved. It was ... shocking to see honestly! How are you? I haven't seen you in a while!" a pause, "Ria, come back, say hello to Lute."
Ria perks up and coils around Lute in a hug only to return back to her trainer, coiling around and resting its head upon Fuki's shoulder. <It's good to see you!>
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute closes his eyes as Fuki kisses him back. Always a wonderful thing when the girl returns the affection. A glance is given towards Ria. As she wraps around him, Lute takes a brief moment to pet her on the head. He has no snake-form Pokemon himself, but he knows that a number shaped like that hug in such a manner. His arm slowly goes around Fuki's waist, staying close to her and Ria.
"It's good to see you, too, Ria. I take it Fuki has been a good trainer for you?" He reaches to rub under the Dragonair's chin. He looks back to fuki, smiling, "Evolving can be a surprise. You never know when it's going to happen. But, she evolved pretty fast, for a Dragonair. Shows that you're doing a great job of training her. You've got a knack for this, eh?"
Imima, meanwhile, is blowing up the sandcastle that so offended her master. Ignore the bursts of cannonfire in the background.
- Fuki has posed:
Cannonfire is something Fuki's used to hearing, so Imima doesn't get paid any attention to, but when Ria's spoken to directly, she gives a brief nod, <She's been diligent in training, and we have had a few real battles too.> she comments, making a happy noise when she's rubbed under the chin. Fuki gives a brief chuckle and squeaks as the arm goes around her waist. This is ok. This is very ok.
"I'm still not as great as you, Lute." she comments, "But I am trying, and my time with my former pets has helped." she nods, "Oh, I wanted to show you something, Lute. Ria's not my only one anymore." she grins, pointing down to the obi and the four other Pokeballs upon it, one looks different, an Ultra Ball. "That one was a bit stubborn..."
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute nods, grinning, "Well. I had little doubt she'd be a good trainer. Fuki is the type who is really good at everything she does." Slowly, he takes the hand off of the Dragonair's chin, leaning against Fuki. And then, the motion to the Pokeballs on her. He blinks, smiling, looking at Fuki.
"...Well. You /are/ becoming a full out Pokemon Trainer, eh? What sort of team have you gotten so far? I'd be interested in seeing. Plus, heck. We should have a battle sometime, too. Maybe with stakes, to make it interesting?"
- Fuki has posed:
"Well, I'm not good at EVERYTHING... I still have my limits and failings, just like everyone else, Lute." though, being put on a pedistal like that does bring the Shinki-Person into a big smile. Then the whole comment about a trainer and she pulls out her license. "I'm an official trainer too." oh her team? "Well, if you want to see everyone, then..." she pulls out each ball and tosses them in the air, "Come on out!"
Four smaller Pokemon fill out the area: A Deino, Bagon, Gible and a Goomy. "They've only recently been caught so they're still there." she chuckles, "But, I wouldn't mind... a battle." a pause, "What kind of stakes? If it's another date, we don't have to worry about a battle."
- Lute (188) has posed:
The moment the Pokemon come out, Lute lets go of Fuki's waist. He kneels in front of them, to get closer to their level. It's a trick he's learned. People tend to be less intimidated at eye level. It works equally well for Pokemon, too. He smiles at all of them, keeping a pleasant tone to his voice.
"Hi. Fuki probably already mentioned me. But. I'm Logan Trieste. Code name, Lute. It's nice to meet all of you." He reaches forward to each of them, to pet them all in turn. He considers the types. The theme is obvious. The weakness is obvious, too. But... He'll avoid abusing that in the little spar.
He stands up again, stretching his arms a bit above his head, looking back at Fuki. "...Well. That was /one/ idea. Though I'm sure we could think of other stakes. Unless you have an idea?"
- Fuki has posed:
Weaknesses and resists are something Fuki hasn't had to deal with yet. The keyword being YET. The small team of four look up at Lute, then back at Fuki, then back at Lute. <We've heard of you.> the Gible starts, giving a nod, <Fuki says you're a good person.> <Very good.> <A dunce at times but cute.> "Goomy!"
Fuki sighs a bit and looks between her Pokemon then back towards Lute. A grin comes across her face, "How about this, if you're serious... how about we choose an outfit for each other to wear. The loser has to wear it for a MONTH!" Fuki's got some silly ideas for this... and it'd be amusing to see Lute in a certain outfit she's seen in videos.
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute looks towards the Pokemon, considering. There are various options to deal with this weakness. But, for now? A simple idea comes to his head. He looks towarsd the group of Pokemon, smiling, "...I'm going to get you all some Yache Berries. Trust me. You'll like them." A minor thing, but it will help them resist the ice a /bit/ better.
And then, Fuki. Hrm. Lute has lost bets like this before. A lot of bets like this. But, this situation? It's one where he has an advantage. His manly instincts come in. What sort of outfits /could/ he put her in...? ...can't be anything too bad. Nothing that would get in the way of her work. He rubs his chin a little, thinking.
"...Yeah. That's a fair deal. Done! We'll get this battle going soon enough, then."
- Fuki has posed:
Fuki tilts her head, "Yache berries?" she questions.. There's nothing equipped to her Pokemon, not even berries... "Well, okay." she smiles "If it'll help them, I know I'm not THAT advantaged... Master Trainer." she tries to inflate his ego a bit, after all, it's nice to see him fired up for it.
"Maybe we can go out on a bigger date after this, regardless of the outcome, huh Lute?" she smiled a bit, also pondering what outfits to shove Lute in...
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute's arm wraps around Fuki's waist, his hand draping over her hip. He looks at the Pokemon, pointing to each one. Each one, he speaks the type of, "Dragon, Dragon, Dragon, Dragon, Dragon/Ground. And a bunch of them will pick up the flying type if you evolve them. Types are important in raising Pokemon. Having a team of all one type isn't /bad/. But. You need to be careful, and prepare. Dragon types are weak to Ice. Flying is weak to Ice and Electric. The Yache Berries won't take away the /whole/ problem, but give them a diet that includes those, and they'll be able to stave off the cold a bit more. But, just train them in the cold more, and they'll learn to deal with it even better, too."
The offer of a bigger date? That gets a wide smile from Lute. He wraps both arms around Fuki, not caring abotu the audience of Pokemon. He leans in, closing his eyes. His head tilts just slightly, as he goes in for a deep kiss. He holds Fuki close, hugging her. After a moment, he breaks the kiss, smiling.
"I'm fine with going on a bigger date~."
- Fuki has posed:
"All Dragon type pokemon." she ponders and she keeps listening to the explinations, "But they're all cute." she retorts, only to give a brief nod, "So, invest in things to protect against ice type attacks." all of her dragon types look at Fuki with expectancy, nodding. Maybe.... just maybe... Fuki's in over her head with this one, oh well, it doesn't matter. She's true to her word and she'll keep to it.
The /kiss/ however causes Fuki to blush furiously, her eyes closing a bit, moving to clench her hands down on Lute's side. She's enjoying it.. until the kiss breaks. "A..aah... y... yes, can we?" she smiled, that blush still upon her face... actually looking bashful... shy.. Totally unlike the ninja...
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute looks towards Fuki, a happy look on his face. Seeing her blushing, seeing her wanting more. That's something that thrills him. Despite all of the women he sees, despite his multiple girlfriends? He cherishes them all. He appreciates them all. The somewhat excitable Shinki, the hard worker who wants people to be impressed with her? He's gotten really attached to her. He's falling for her, just as she is falling for him. A hand lifts up, slowly moving through her hair. He leans forward, pressing his forehead against Fuki's own.
"I'm willing to go on with this as long as you are. We're falling for eachother quite hard, aren't we?"
- Fuki has posed:
Fuki's not experienced actual love before but... this has given her a lot to think about. Fuki's human sized, is being treated like a person and well.. Fuki's happy. Fuki's definitely happy.. and she might... no she is falling for this human, this derpy, amazing human. The pokemon battle's been forgotten for now, with Fuki moving to cuddle up in close, giving a brief nod to Lute's question, "Mmhmm.."
She does look up, then towards her Pokemon, "Did... you want to do that battle today?"
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute stays close to Fuki still, arms still wrapped around her. His breathing is slow and relaxed. His hands squeeze at Fuki, ruffling the fabric of her kimono. His body keeps pressed against her, even as he looks down at her, and listens.
"...A battle /could/ work today. But. I have one of my stronger sets of Pokemon on me, today. I'd probably wanna take it a /bit/ easier on you, hmm?"
- Fuki has posed:
Stronger pokemon? Ria perks up, <I want to try.> she chirps out, giving a brief nod, the others go in and cheer on as Fuki just leans in more. "Mmm, they're... wanting to and I want to try myself. I can't get better as a trainer if I don't fight someone stronger than me." she comments, only pulling away after a brief moment, "All my girls, we're ready... We know some of what you use... but not everything."
"I, The Dragon's Fury Tamer Fuki..." a pause, her Pokemon look at her curiously then jump right in front, "Maybe that's just going slightly overboard with it, so... want to have a tussle, Pokemon Master Lute?"
- Lute (188) has posed:
Before parting with her, Lute leans in to kiss Fuki on the forehead. He steps back, walking away from her. His labcoat blows in the wind, just slightly. He reaches into his pocket, pulling out a Pokeball. He bites his lip a little, still looking away from Fuki. His own current team... Gardevoir, Giratina, Registeel, Tentacruel, Arcanine, and Raichu. Half of his team might be able to sweep Fuki's team. It's still good to show her exactly how far she has to go. ...But he doesn't want to completely crush her. This choice... /should/ be good for that.
"Go! Raichu!"
He turns around, opening up the Pokeball dramatically. The large mouse Pokemon appears on the sand, landing as he appears and leaving an imprint on the beach. He clenches his fists, smiling forward towards the group of Dragon Pokemon before him.
"Make the first move, Fuki."
- Fuki has posed:
'Make the first move' ... Oh man. Fuki points her pokedex at the Raichu and listens, tilting her head. Well, there's one thing, it's an electric type. She taps her foot and pats Ria on the head before she nods, "Gible, get out there! I know some basic resistances, Gible should be able to take on your Raichu's electric attacks without issue!" Fuki looks confident in herself right now, "Alright Gible!" the Gible pops up and smiles, readying.
And Fuki pauses... wait, what ... oh! "Gible, charge at it, use Dragon Claw!" The Gible nods and starts rushing down towards the Raichu, only to hop in the air and bring down a glowing set of claws towards the Raichu, swiping here and there, trying to go at it. "Come on, Gible, hit it...!"
She looks back at her pokedex... and ponders, what next...
- Lute (188) has posed:
"Double Team!"
A confident smile is on Lute's face. He's trying not to look too cocky. He doesn't want to make this seem too easy. But... He has so many strategies. So many ideas of how to beat them all. He'll play the fine line, here, though.
"Double Team! Quick Attack!"
There is a sudden flash from Raichu, a quick sudden movement. For a moment, it seems as if there are three of the Pokemon there at once, lined up in a row. As the Gible moves in, the copy of the Raichu vanishes. It's true spot? The one on the right.
Then, with a quick set of footwork, the Raichu runs forward at high speeds. It's making a quick tackle attack at the Gible, trying to slam into it with all of its might. Lute, meanwhile, bites his lip. He wanted to give some advice, but... Would that be taken poorly?
Oh screw it.
"Use it's ground based attacks. Quick Pokemon like Raichu and Pikachu can be hard to hit! Wide-range attacks can be good as well!"
- Fuki has posed:
Wait... double team?! Fuki shakes her head, steeling herself, okay, so... what does that do. No time to think so she puts the pokedex into her kimono and nods as the Gible takes the quick attack and tumbles to the ground, only to jump back up and hop up... <I'm okay! I'm okay!> Fuki gives a sigh and a nod, "Alright! Come on, Gible, let's speed this up." she paces a bit and looks around, frowning.
Then Lute gives her a hint...ground attacks? She looks at the Gible and nods, alright, "Gible, go underground!" she smiles, "Now.... Dig! Dig and dig and dig and dig!" The gible starts to make a hole in the ground and starts digging around, looking for a good place to strike. "This is a ground attack, isn't it?" she questions, a bit... unsure.
The pokemon behind her watch in curiosity... how is Fuki going to handle a master trainer like this....
- Lute (188) has posed:
Dig. That will be a harder thing for Lute to avoid. There are a number of options to try and avoid it, none of them ideal. Jumping at the right time will avoid the oncoming Gible. Double Team could work, but the copies don't send quite the same vibrations through the ground. Running rapidly would make it harder to predict, but that's a lot noisier and can be predicted. Lute bites his lip.
"...Agility!"
The Raichu starts running around the battlefield, at a rapid speed. Lute smiles, looking at Fuki.
"Good choice. Harder to predict when an opponent is underground. Some Pokemon can attack /while/ the digging is going on. Raichu doesn't have much options for that." A small, but honest, compliment.
- Fuki has posed:
Agility? What is this, a move for speed? Wait, that's exactly what it is. "Alright... and... come out now!" she shouts, the Gible bursting out of ground, hopefully where the Raichu was standing, but knowing her luck... "Quickly, go into Sand Tomb!" <Alright!> with this, sand starts to build up to reach out towards the Raichu. "Come on... come on...."
The compliment makes her blush briefly, only to continue back... "Gible, careful with the next one, be ready to dodge it!" she nods, the Gible looks hurt from that Quick Attack but... she holds steady. "Shall we, Lute?"
- Lute (188) has posed:
The Raichu's fast movement can be hard to judge, but the sudden burst up still stops him in his tracks. He isn't hit, at least not directly. The Sand Tomb catches him off guard, the bursting wave of it covering the Raichu. It slows down in its movement, stuck in its place. Slowed down.
"Raichu! Return!" Lute holds up the Pokeball, immediately pulling out another one. Opening it, another Pokemon appears in the Raichu's place. A large blue Pokemon, somewhat like a jellyfish. His Tentacruel. Lute flicks some of the hair out of his eye, smiling. "Good moves so far. Forcing a switch. But, this is where it's going to end up... a bit more in my favor."
"Surf."
The body of the Tentacruel shakes, and suddenly, a massive wave of water errupts from him. It flies forward, rolling along the beach on the path to the Gible. Lute grimmaces a bit. He hope this isn't too overkill.
- Fuki has posed:
Fuki bounces up and down as the Raichu's returned, "Yay, we did it, we got one!" she turns back to look at Lute... and then she sees the Tentacruel. "Oh." pause "Crap." she shakes her head and looks at the Gible, "Run, Gible!"
And then the Surf command is given and ... there's that water wave. "BRACE IT!" and as it crashes down, it engulfs the Gible who's in a defensive stance.. and soon, it washes up at Fuki's feet, unconcious. "I... I... okay... Gible, you did great, return..." she clicks her pokeball and retreats the Gible. "Alright, I don't think I have anything who can take on that Tentacruel..." Ria suddenly interposes herself between the Pokemon and her Trainer. <My turn, Master.> Fuki blinks, "I... okay. Go, Ria. You have a better shot at this, don't you..."
She pauses, looking at the Tentacruel. "Okay... careful... wait, do this... Ria! Thunder Wave! Let's get the advantage right from the start!" with a glow of electric energy shooting off the horn of the Dragonair, it starts to float a bit just to make sure it can get the attack to land, the pulsating wave of thunder spiraling out towards the Tentacruel, hoping to paralyze it."
- Lute (188) has posed:
A proud smile is on Lute's face. Fuki is stressing out. But, she is figuring out the best strategy. The Thunderwave strikes true, causing paralyzation throughout the Tentacruel's body. It sits there, twitching a bit. Lute nods, smiling.
"Yeah. Non-damaging. But. Useful. You've got a sitting duck of a target, now. But. He's not down for the count, quite yet! Tentacruel! Ice Beam!"
The red gemstone on the Tentacruel's head glows, a soft-blue color around it. Suddenly, a chill in the air. And then, a giant burst of ice. A straight-forward beam, aimed towards the Dragonair. The Dragonair does have some agility, though. Some advantage there. But if it hits... It won't be good.
- Fuki has posed:
Think, Fuki, think, there's a sitting duck of a target there... and.. "Ok..." wait, Ice Beam? "AAAA! Ria! Dodge to the left! Retaliate with Thunderbolt!" she shouts, the reaction speed is there, the agile little snake-dragon ducking out of the way to the left, barely grazin that beam of ice that sends a shiver through her. <Close... but here!> and true to her word, a bigger bolt of lightning is sent from the dragon-type right towards the water type!
"I've been learning how to use technical machines, I only have a few but..." she grins, a bit of a proud moment, but it probably won't last too much longer... it's still a pokemon wielded by an expert... she's just... getting lucky it might be.
- Lute (188) has posed:
There is still a proud look on Lute's face. Fuki is doing well. Or at least, well enough. He nods a little bit, crossing his arms for a moment. The lightning strikes the paralyzed Tentacruel. Though it could keep fighting, and could probably win? Lute knows it'd be a safer bet to switch. And it's time to show the length that Fuki still has to go.
"Tentacruel! Return! Go! Gardevoir!"
The Gardevoir appears, the feminine-looking male Pokemon appearing. It floats on the battlefield, glancing towards the Dragonair. This... Is not a good matchup for Ria, at all.
"Dazzling Gleam!"
The Gardevoir lifts its hand. Suddenly, a gigantic brilliant burst of light, aimed straight towards the Dragonair.
- Fuki has posed:
Fuki grins, hearing the word return... but when Gardevoir is stated... she blinks, it's a Psychic type... against a Dragon? Something isn't adding up here. "Careful Ria. We don't know what that can do..." Ria looks a bit shaky, something about this doesn't set well with Ria at all. Not all all. And she's about to find out why.
"Dazzling Gleam?" she tilts her head... "Ria, umm.. Try enduring it!" Ria starts curling up into a tight ball, but the brilliant burst of light not only causes all of her team to turn away, it also has Fuki turning away from it as well. "Hold on Ria... just hold on..."
Ria's trying to hold on against that blast of amazing light... but it's too much for the Dragonair and she falls, making a loud thunk against the ground and kicking up sand with it. "RIA!" comes a shouted cry, Fuki rushing over towards Ria... "Ria... Ria... are you okay? What happened?! Ice was your only weakness!" she takes a look at the Gardevoir, then back at the Dragonair. "Ria... Return." the red light pulls the Dragonair back in... and then there were three.
The Goomy, Bagon and Deino all walk towards Fuki, nuzzling at her legs... <Fuki?> <Master?> <Get up, Master...> "Ria was defeated. She was my strongest." <Master... get up. You still have us.> <That Gardevoir has nothing on us.> Fuki's shaking her head and soon stands up a bit. "Bagon." <Yes?> "Go. Get in there." <Right away.>
The Bagon knows it's outclassed and yet, it stands in front of Fuki and the others. "Crunch." The Bagon starts running down, only leaping to try and take a big ol' hard BITE out of the Gardevoir... but a semi-trained Bagon versus a fully trained Gardevoir... this might not end well.
- Lute (188) has posed:
The Gardevoir lifts its hand on instinct. A barrier forms in front of it. It doesn't do much to stop the approaching Bagon, but the barrier slows it down. The bite strikes the Gardevoir, the Gardevoir holding its arm out to block. Lute smiles a bit, but looking a little bit sad. This... Yeah. Fuki has some steps to go.
He has been silent as she talked to her Pokemon. But, all of them together... Well. They might lose today, but htat bond will help her go forward. Lute gives a look of slight pity to the Bagon, and then to Fuki.
"Gardevoir. A Psychic Fairy Pokemon. Fairy is super effective against dragons. And... Resistant to Dark."
"Disarming Voice."
The Gardevoir opens its mouth, a melodic sound coming out. Bursts of energy comes out as it sings. The energy flies towards the Bagon, this Fairy-Type attack holding a surprising punch to it.
- Fuki has posed:
Resistant to dark type? Fuki frowns and drops to her knees as the Bagon's attack is blocked AND it's dealt with from the vocal song from the Gardevoir knocking out the Bagon. She looks between her others and shakes her head... that Gardevoir won't fall to any of hers. Alright. "Bagon, return. I surrender..." she comments, a frown upon her face, "I thought... I could at least try to be somewhat there, but..."
She sighs and clutches Ria's pokeball tightly, "I'm sorry, Ria... I let you down..."
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute walks forward slowly. He kneels down in front of her. He takes a brief moment to return his own Gardevoir. His arms move to drape around Fuki's head, to hold her head to his chest. He rests his head on the top of her head, breathing slowly. "Well. Remember. I have been doing this for /years/. You only started. For this stage of your journey? You did great. Most trainers won't have a single evolved Pokemon at this point. Many wouldn't even have more than one or two Pokemon caught. You're doing wonderfully."
He pulls back a bit, just so he cna look into Fuki's eyes. "And I'll help you every step of the way."
With that, he leans forward to kiss Fuki, upon her lips.
- Fuki has posed:
She takes the brief time to recall the rest of her team and gasps a bit as she's tugged close. "I'm... I'm sorry. You know... I have a fear of failing. After that time with Master..." she curls up in, "I'm trying... I am trying to do my best so I don't let another person down..." a look up, "I'm trying not to let you down... one of the derpiest people I know... and I'm fearing letting you down."
She sniffles, listening... she smiles briefly but he's getting closer... and closer... and she just let's it happen, keeping it held there for a while, eyes closing. "Mmm... Lute..." she gives a soft sigh, pulling back, "So, I lost. You won... so.. what am I going to be wearing for the next month?"
- Lute (188) has posed:
Lute doesn't quite let Fuki retreat, doesn't quite let her pull back. Instead, he wraps his arms around her, and pulls her. He tugs her onto him, while he lays back, upon the sand. He strokes his fingers through her hair, quietly looking towards the sky.
"Don't worry. You haven't let me down, and you won't. But... As for our deal..."
A slight pause. He reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a phone. Scrolling through pictures, he holds up an image to Fuki. Of the Gym Leader, Skyla.
"...How about something like this, in purple?"
- Fuki has posed:
Fuki squeaks as she's not allowed to retreat, giving only a slight nod before letting herself rest upon the trainer, head against head... facing away from the sand. "I haven't? Even if I've not performed well?" she gives a small look over, when he mentioned the deal, then looks at the outfit.
It shows quite a bit of skin.
"One month to wear that? Alright, I'll see about getting a tailor to make it. A deal is a deal, would be quite rude to say no~"
