Saiyan Checking Out the Ghost in the Shell
Date of Scene: 01 September 2014
Location: Asian Plains
Synopsis: It's strange the sort of people one's ads for your business might bring in. Such as getting a Gearhead Sayain curious about your world and it's tech.
Cast of Characters: Kotone Yamakawa, 180

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
New Port Japan was a major city in Japan after World War III, it also was one of the more mixed population wise given the aborbting of several islands which had Russian populations, which have started to mingle into Japan, and others. Either way there's a small mechanic shop that has done offcers of dessigns, restorations and more. Whose ads were out in the multiverse the region was somewhat dense population wise, but? It was shockingly clean, well ckkept and tidy. If someone coming to this world had any wireless devices they would find the local connection rates are /insane/.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita does have a wireless device, but she isn't looking at it yet. She's flying through the sky, probably creating quite the spectacle with her blue aura and ki trail as she makes her way toward the shop. She doesn't have any particular purchase or service in mind. She considers herself a very good mechanic. Even as she makes her way down, it's hard for an outsider to tell that a high percentage of the people around her are somewhere between 25 and 100 percent cyberized.

When she does land in front of Kotone's shop, she still doesn't check her device. She doesn't rely on it very much. She steps into the tidy place and looks around, smiling lightly. "Hello? Anyone here?" she calls out. And with a saiyan, a simple calling out can be pretty loud.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Tayita has started a number of wild posts on line, it happened with in seconds of the first person seeing her. Not that she'd know right now however she'd hear some music over some sort of sound system and find a car which is under going work. A small drone is moving to get some tools meanwhile there's a womand there with a head set on and a number of cables plugged into the back of her neck which are plugged into various points on the car. Which she seems to be working on. She pauses lifting up the visor.

"Yes...can I help you?"

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita finds herself staring a bit at the sight of someone actually PLUGGED IN to a machine. "...uh...maybe? What are all those wires going from your neck to the car?" she asks, obviously intrigued. Without even asking, she moves in closer to inspect those connections. "Are you a robot of some kind? Are you doing diagnostics virtually? Can you drive this car without even touching it?" the saiyan says in quick succession.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa takes a moment to size up the stranger and seems amused.

"Hard line data connections. No I'm not a /robot/ I'm human. I'm checking over the car for any software problems or other issues. Yes it can be driven without being touched. You seem ... to be curious."

She pauses for a moment rise up and starts disconnecting the cables which snap back into her neck in rapid fashion.

"I'm Kotone, and you are?"

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita actually flinches when those wires retract so quickly INTO Kotone. "Holy...!" Then, she is smiling brightly and right up next to Kotone. "That is awesome! You're some kind of human robot hybrid! I'm almost sad I'd have to be in some major crap before I could get any cybernetics like that! It's so much more sophisticated that anything I've seen before!" she exclaims excitedly. "I'm Taylita! Mighty and honorable saiyan warrior and grease monkey! I heard there was some kind of mechanics shop around here and I had to check it out, but I didn't expect anything like this! How advanced is that car? Does it change into a plane and stuff?"

Yes, she's...curious. To say the least.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa sees Taylita is excited but in the tech geek sort of way, not like another person she's run into whose made her skin crawl. So it seems she's relaxing now.

"You could say that it's not uncomon here to be honest. If it's healthy I suggest you keep it, if you lose something then go all out honestly. That's just me though and you haven't?"

She pauses and nods a little bit.

"A Sayain who a gear head? That's admittly shocking with what I know of your people. Which isn't saying much to be honest. No we don't have technology that that, I'm afraid. It has an support AI that can use GPD to drive, or you can use a connection to drive it without physical controls. Most people like to keep using the manual wheel though."

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita huffs at the comment about here people, but not really in an insulted way. More of a 'I know' kind of way. "Yeah, if more of my people were gearheads instead of brainless barbarians, there might be more of my people around." she says, crossing her arms over her chest as she says it. It's obviously a point of anger with her, but unlike the other trait of Saiyans Kotone might have heard about, she doesn't start breaking things.

Instead, she looks at the car again, then hees. "Can I drive it, then?" she asks, already making her way toward the car. Before stopping and blinking. "Wait, you were fixing it? What's wrong with it?" she asks, looking it over in a more analytical sense now. "I might be able to help. I'm a mechanic myself. I usually work on spaceships, but this can't be too hard."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa does not press the Sayain issue more, its best not to. She pauses for a moment.

"You'd be able to yes, but ir's under going repairs, something's wrong with the OS and some parts need to be replaced from the looks of it. Wait you work on space craft?!"

Now it's kotone's chance to geek out at Taylita.

"Really? Orbital? Deepspace? Ones with /actual/ FTL?"

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita smirks as Kotone starts geeking out. She nods to each question as it is asked, even the last one. "Yep. FTL engines. But, it can still take a while to get around. The universe is a big place. I guess there are ships that can make galactic journeys in a few days, but mine is lucky to make it to another solar system in a few months. The place I grew up didn't have a lot of tech, so the ship I salvaged from some goons that tried to knock me off is all I've gotten to play with."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa Says "Still not being trapped by Enstine's cage is a hell of a thing. Still I suspect people would kill for that a few months to alpha Centari? That would be something wouldn't it. Sorry I didn't mean to get distracted. So you wnted to help with the car? I have teh feeling ... you'd have fun exploring here. Though you may run into a small problem..."

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita hees and grins as she listens to Kotone. "It -is- something. Traveling to another world by space flight is pretty amazing. I did it once. It's what brought me to the Multiverse. I had to reach our Earth before I even learned about the Multiverse." she says before pausing. "What problem?"

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says " "Well people without cyberbrain may have a few problems with a few things. Certain things are not very friendly to people who don't like say news papers now. You'd need a e-Reader for that. It's nothing too bad honestly. It's not gotton /that/ bad yet to be honest. Still must have been a heck of a trip going on a little trek through the stars like that."

She shrugs a bit.

"I think we're a bit too obessed with this technology. I ... didn't get like this for fun."

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita nods in understanding at the explanation, then mmphs at the mention of the star trek. "It would have been interesting, but I thought I was in for a very long trip so I went into hibernation. Apparently it didn't take very long to reach Earth. I guess I hit a gate somewhere along the way. The ship crash-landed since I was in hibernation, and when I woke up, I was in the Multiverse." she says.

She looks sympathetic when Kotone mentions that her enhancements weren't by choice. "But, it's kinda better now, right? I mean, robot-things are generally tougher than their organic counterparts. And, just think of all the gadgets you can have in robotic arms and legs!" she says before blinking. "Hey, how much of you is machine, anyway? You sure don't look very robotic."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa Says "My world barely noticed things for a long time oddly kinda strange isn't it. Still we're busy with a lot of things."

She looks right at tylita being quite for a long moment.

"Many think of that but they don't think what they give up. Technology is far from perfet and if you must know? It's basically just by brain left."

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita snickers at that first part. "Yeah, it looked pretty busy as I was flying over. Even the sky was full of things." she says.

When she hears that just Kotone's brain is left, Taylita winces a bit. "Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Do you mind me asking what happened?" she says, offering an apologetic smile. She's sure it's something Kotone wouldn't want to talk about, but she can't help asking.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "Full conversion is not an uncomon thing. It's becoming more and more common these days, be personal want, job, or other concerns. It's about as costly as a car these days."

She looks very hard at Tylita /very/ damn hard, and is silent. She doesn't seem too happy about the question from Taylita.

Taylita (180) has posed:
Taylita coughs softly at the glare from Kotone and actually blushes a bit self-consciously before looking off to the car again. "So! Speaking of cars, I should let you get back to fixing this one up." she says, just moving on from that question she asked. She can't blame Kotone for not wanting to tell the story. It was probably some gruesome tale about getting run over and mangled or falling off a building or getting kidnapped and beaten. Still, she didn't expect -that- much of a bad reaction.

Taylita turns to head for the door after that. "It was nice meeting you, Kotone! Sorry about the trouble." she says, then smirks lightly. "You shouldn't take it so hard when someone asks about what happened. You survived whatever it was, so why not be proud of it?" she says as she opens the door. "Anyway, take care. I should get back to my ship."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa does not say anothing for a moment longer. It is a very gruesome tale she does not like thinking about. She looks at Taylita for a moment longer, she seems to relax a bit now as well the optic seems to be done for now. Also part of her reactions are due to Staren, but that's another story to be sure.

"Sell you later and how can you know how it happened. Maybe .... still I should get back to work."
