Location: Asian Plains
Synopsis: Inga Swings By New Port to visit Kotone just a simple chat somewhere that does not have zombie's lurking outside for once.
Cast of Characters: Kotone Yamakawa, Inga

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone's home would be easy enough to find she'd told Inga the location and amusingly the local tourist map pannel had a voice activated system that Inga would have been able to use hopefully either way she should have been able to find her way into one of the less packed parts of New Port. It had large metal doors at one point much like the firehall did, there were a few other things about a sign in both english and japanese above the doors and there was a smaller door which likely lead to Kotone's apartment, though it seems she's in the garage working at the moment as there's sound of activity within.

Inga has posed:
Indeed, Inga is pleased to find that there are verbal directions, though she's wasted a rather obscene amount of time trying to talk to the map as if it were an actual person. Eventually, after cursing it for it's defiance, Inga moves on and follows whatever directions she got to Kotone's place.

Following the sound of activity, Inga moves into the garage, blinking as she looks around for Kotone. "Kotone?" she asks, also looking for a seat. Bit of a a long walk.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Inga should be able to get in and there's a few seats to the side of the small garage there's a pair of motorcycles one looks far newer than the other and Kotone has a headset on with a number of wires snaking out of her neck. It takes her a moment to disconnect them all and take the head set up.

"Inga, hey, good to see you. Welcome to what passes for my home in Japan."

Inga has posed:
Inga tilts her head questioningly at the motorcycles, and at Kotone's strange headwear. Fashion is so bizarre here! Per usual, Inga is dressed as a woman from her time would; in a long linen shift and blue overdress, silver brooches pinned to the front. She even wears a small strand of amber beads. Once she sits, she also wears a smile. "Thank you for your hospitality," she comments. "Japan, hmm? Do you have homes elsewhere?" she asks.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "Father's from Japan, he left before I was born met my mother on a contient to the east of here across the ocean. Same one that Kingsmouth is located on but the other coast. Don't worry about it, want anything to eat or drink?"

Inga has posed:
Inga nods, trying to picture the world in her head. Of course, someone had shown her a map of the world at some point while she'd been looking through things. She can't quite place precisely the places Kotone is talking about however.

"I would love something, thank you," she comments, smiling anew. Despite all the eldritch horrors trying to sneak into the world lately, the woman seems to be in a good mood.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
There's a few posters, some for some local brands of cycle though there's one of an impressive mountain range with a city at it's feet hugging the coast. Meanwhile Kotone ducks to head to a dridge and goes to see what she can find she digs up a sub sandwhich takes a moment to check it's not the one with the cyborg foood and brings it over to Inga.

"You seem chipper, something good happen to you? Japan's an old region you know. Though I do miss home, it's not bad here really."

Inga has posed:
The posters of bikes don't really draw her eye, but the landscape does. "Beautiful...I do love where the mountains and the sea meet," she comments.

A sandwich is brought, and Inga smiles her thanks.

Then attention is drawn to her mood and she looks taken aback. "I do? Ah...well. We did stop a monster from beyond the stars from ravaging Chicago, that was certainly a good thing..."

As for missing home, Inga sympathizes. "Mm...I miss it as well. Perhaps...I will visit Uppsala again," she says quietly. It's possible she knows, but she has no idea how to get there.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "I do admit most of the cultures in Europe still take pride in their pasts at least here. They have done much to preserve the works of their ancestors that remain from what I have seen. As for a horror in Chicago? I'm glad it was stop but I'm not to broken up about missing it, I'd likely have just got in the way to be honest."

She heads back to teh fridge returning with some canned drink and moves to sit down aside Inga.

Inga has posed:
Inga nods her understand. "Good...good. The past should be preserved. The culture of a people..." she trails off, shaking her head. She does not want to think of the world as it is just now, of how changed her home would be, christian crosses raised on churches all over the north. The thought makes her sick.

Better to think of happier things, like victories and....things.

A frown at Kotone, brows drawing together. "Why do you say that? You'd not have been in the way. You can fight," she comments, taking a bite of food and a sip of...whatever canned drink she has. If she's lucky, it's beer!

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa Says "If we don't learn from it we're going to do the same things again. As for me what this body isn't combat spec and I'm not even trained properly."

The canned drink was beer, Canadian beer. Kotone seems to be comforable now at this point.

"I just feel like I do, by my world's standards I'm still very mundane. I mean half of our friends there ... get up when killed..."

Inga has posed:
Inga is one of those gets up when killed type. But if not for being excellent at defensive wards, she's likely have died a dozen times by now.

The wisewoman nods though, sighing. "I understand. There is just so much...out there. Beings I'd never thought to casually meet, people nearly like gods in their power, who've lived thousands of years..." she shakes her head. "It is very overwhelmig."

"Still," she continues, tone changing, "You have never seemed in the way. You have always done your part and, frankly, I think some of the things you can do are amazing."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "Like this I'll likely clock over 100 if my brain stays in good shape can't aruge with that. I ... know how you feel even you make me feel small to be honest. I seen things...that shouldn't be possible as my world understands thing yet they are...me amazing?"

Inga has posed:
Inga blinks, the laughs lightly, shaking her head. "Me? Well, I overwhelm me too," she replies. "Me, as I am now, now that there is...the Buzzing. Ah, but what a wide world it is, there are others..." Inga waves it off. "Each of us just must do our best. You are indeed amazing in your way. The way you navigate this world, how you can connect to vast stores of knowledge so easily...and it is /normal/ to you. It is easy. That's wonderous to me."

Another sip. "I'm beginning to learn to read, but it is difficult...and we've been busy. Things are still very difficult, but I think...it is getting better. Perhaps I feel a least a little less lost," she admits.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa Says "Really maybe your right but it's just ... common here. I'm not even that high end. Seriously there's some people out there that could puppet another person or so they say or run another body at the same time. Still I'll take it as it's intended and you are that's wonderful to hear what are you chosing to learn to read if I might ask?"

Inga has posed:
Inga's eyes sort of glaze over as Kotone talks about people contolling another body at the same time. Not even going to try right now.

"Aah...I've just been learning a bit with whatever books Harry has sitting around. Learing the common letters and things."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa Says "That's good, it was quite the thing when it happened. A man figured out a way to mass produce books in a way that wasn't possible before. Things just kinda snowballed over the next few hundred years. Funny how that goes? So I been thinking. You know aside from things like my self a lot of desices have been ... wiped out. Small pox? Polio and dozen others have been wiped out in the last 70 years it's pretty amazing, people have forgot to fear being sick..."

She goes to get a beer of her own and grimaces she can't get drunk or buzzed but she can enjoy it right.

"Man though learning Japanese was an experiance and a half for me...I still trip off with it sometimes. People wouldn't expect it but as I said I wasn't born or raised here."

Inga has posed:
About the only thing she understood there was 'pox'. Small pox? No clue. Polio? Nope. But the point is grasped, at least. "That...is remarkable. Once I can read, I would like to learn more about healing as it is done here," she comments.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "I'd be happy to get you the material when you can. In someways it does worry me, people get complancet and forget why certain treatments exist or the results of not following them. So Inga with me being done work shall we head up to the apartment maybe watch a movie?"

Inga has posed:
Inga blinks, tilting her head. "What is a 'movie'?" she asks.

She's in a for a treat!

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "A play that's been ... recorded for later watch. Come on I'll make up some popcorn too,."

ANd thus begings the cyborgs and viking's movie night.
