Break!" |PAge=Mid-Twenties |AAge= |Aging=No |Height=6' 3" |Weight= |Hair=Bubblegum Pink |Eyes=Emerald |Voice= |Song= |Profile=A bonefida tomboy, Alexis is a rough and tumble girl that would rather be roughhousing than dressing up and twittering over boys. Though she has no problem with swinging a little female charm if necessary, she's usually a lot more likely to spit out snide remarks, and if necessary swing a fist or two. By no means a mean person, she just takes gruff from no one and is bluntly honest enough to say what's on her mind. Energetic, free-spirited, and more of an adventurer than a soldier or hero, but will stand by her friends regardless even if she teases them the rest of the time. A native of the Fallarbor reigon of Hoenn, growing up near a volcano certainly helped toughen her up, and she's been an active member of the Trainers almost as long as the group has been around in general. But while most of her peers have stuck with Pokemon even in the Multiverse, she has expanded her base of familiarity into the various other trainable monsters. Alexis has little problem with getting into a fight side by side with her critters either, throwing punches first and asking questions after. She's best known for her tendency to weld sports equipment and tactics, like her trademark hockey stick and rollerblades, as combat gear. Because of her stubborness and love of a challenge Alexis has undertaken training a few creatures others would never consider, like trying to purify a powerful Shadow pokemon. |Powers=Physical Prowess: Alexis is naturally athletic, honed over the years by her own training and adventures as a pokemon trainer. She's stronger and more enduring than average for a human girl, her overall stamina is considerably high, and she can endure physical exertion and activity for greater periods of time without rest or severely hurting herself. Having grown up in Fallarbor Town, which sits almost right next to the volcanic Mt. Chimney, she also has an exceptionally high tolerance for heat stress. Burning Ground: From bonding with her starter Typhlosion and an Entei clone Alexis has gained a major affinity for monsters that fit the geothermic and seismic theme. Monsters with fire and earth based powers flourish the best under her, as do generally strong and rugged pokemon that have secondary fire abilities or similar aspects of toughness. |Skills=No Holds Barred Fighting: It doesn't really matter what style or method you use, stick to what you're best at beating the other guy up with. Though she does have some training Alexis follows no specific style. She isn't afraid to get in the thick of things herself; and has no qualms about using trickery, pokemon beat downs and blunt bludgeoning if it'll help. It's about doing what you need to do to meet the challenge, and that doesn't leave a lot of room for fussing over how right or wrong breaking someone's kneecaps might be at the time. Playing As A Team: Though as capable of linking with pokemon as any other trainer, Alexis prefers to hands-on train her monsters instead of relying on just bonding alone. Like any good team they work hard and learn to cooperate with each other through other means as Alexis tends to instruct them like a coach directing their star players. Team tactics, even across different types and combat beast themes, are little problem for them. In fact, her non-reliance on linking to train is what allows her to work decently with non-pokemon monsters in the first place. Monster Specialist: Alexis' working with assorted creatures, not to mention having a kitsune for a boyfriend, has given her more insight into the ways of different unusual and supernatural creatures of all sorts. The expanded base of skill and experience makes her a good choice for dealing with monsters of most any sort, particularly when it comes to tracking and battling them. |Assets=Combat Is A Competitive Sport: In addition to the standard monster trainer fanfare, Alexis is infamous for her tenacity at using sports gear and tactics as combat arms. Her amalgam of pads and armor is augmented by a helmet and arm-guards of dragonscale, and her boots have retractable rollerblades and boosters. Also has a 'weapon grade' hockey stick with a blade-like edge and a kinetic amplifier to increase its impact and projectile launching power. And dodgeballs make excellent Fling ammo. Foxtrot Ranch: Alexis and Nova live on the back acres of her aunt's breeding farm, having converted the loft of a barn into a cozy apartment. In addition to providing plenty of room for her various monsters to train and stay when not accompanying her on adventures, she has taken up herding various sheep and goat-like pokemon as a hobby. Warchief's Claymore: A hellion weapon forged by the best smiths the Demon Realm has to offer, this prized claymore was claimed by Alexis after dispatching the lord that was its former owner. This sword is a status symbol: should she take it into the Demon Realm, she will be immediately recognized as the mightiest warrior in the realm. Beyond the gravity of the blade, however, is its ability to command the immediate obedience of any lesser demon in the Demon Realm when they are struck, allowing the wielder to forge a small military force out of Demon Realm inhabitants. |NPCs=Monster Menagerie: Alexis started her career with pokemon, and they will always be the 'best' her team has to offer. They're also the easiest to transport. But she's expanded her repertoire steadily and acquired the various verifications for trainable monsters of other worlds as well. Often these critters are taken to fill in places pokemon as a whole lack in ability or purpose. Though she personally prefers strength and durability, much like herself, she's learned that the most effective team is a well-rounded one, when you never know what the Multiverse might throw at you. Scorch: The badger-like Typhlosion is Alexis' primary pokemon and almost always at her side, determent to fight for whatever purpose she's throwing herself into. Typically laid back unless provoked. Regardless he is one of Alexis' most experienced and reliable pokemon, utilizing a variety of fire-based attacks like Flame Wheel and Heat Wave, supplimented by his sharp claws and tenacity. Can unleash his power in a large fiery explosion known as Blast Burn, but doing so leaves him extremely exhausted as it uses up most of his thermal energy. (No individual PL.) Wildfire: Created as a Shadow Pokemon clone, but Alexis' dogged determination and compassion helped eventually purified him. No longer prone to emotional fits of rage but still aggressive, territorial and extremely protective of his 'Alpha' and her pack. While not as powerful as the 'true' Entei he holds the same embodiment of volcanic and seismic forces with a combination of Fire powers, immense energy reserves and physical strength. Successful purification, due to the odd genetic matrix used in the cloning process, has unlocked four moves not normal to the species: Extremespeed, Crush Claw, Earth Power and Flare Blitz. (No individual PL.) Stormpaw: Despite being called a Tiger, this monster species looks more like a large, maned blue-grey wolf with horns. Said horns can conduct electricity in addition to being used as weapons, and he can exhale blasts of frigid cold from his mouth as well. Overall a very well-rounded monster, utilizing a solid balance of speed, strength and elemental attacks. Stormpaw is roughly the size of a large motorcycle and can even be ridden as such with swift travel in addition to using his sharp nose and ears for tracking. (No individual PL.) Clysm: A monster known as Missing Lynx; which resembles a gigantic lion with horns, dragon wings and a poisonous serpent for a tail. Despite it's kaiju like size it is a capable flyer, often striking from high altitude when possible. In addition to the powerful size it can breath intense flames and whip up cyclonic winds with its wings. While still animalistic in mind it is intelligent, capable of taking orders and knowing basic predatory tactics to fend for itself if Alexis is unable to directly command it. (PL 32) |Disadvantages=Temper: Her hair may be pink in color, but Alexis has the temperament typically associated with redheads. She's not that easy to get angry, but her temper ignites fast and burns hard when it does get sparked, and she becomes increasing stubborn and reckless when it's flared. She takes considerable offense at people who would control and corrupt other intelligent creatures for their own exploitation, even more so than your typical trainer. Issues with Authority: More accurately, Alexis has issues with -being- authority. Training cute and cuddly living weapons is one thing and occasionally beating a villain senseless is another thing, but she doesn't want more than that. She balks at being in charge of anything remotely military, and most of the ally rank she does have is to help keep other people from going nuts. Because frankly Ash needs all the help he can get. She's not one to disobey orders herself, but she will exploit wording and loopholes when possible to fulfill them as she thinks she should rather than follow them to the letter. Psych Out: Alexis has learned to accommodate psychic powers to a degree and even trains a few psychic-type pokemon that suit her style, but still has issues dealing with the misuse and exploitation of such powers because of the Mewtwo & Pokemorphs incident long ago, and occasionally freaks a little when a monster shows unexpected psychic powers. They are issues that less scare her and more make her want to viciously curbstomp the exploiter, but Mew forbid if she ever runs into another Mewtwo... Monster Flaws: Many of her more prominent creatures have personal flaws of their own. Scorch is a semi-shameless flirt. Glitch lives up to his name. Stormpaw can be a cranky stubborn old warrior. Gauntlet harbors a deep resentment towards those who would subjugate and corrupt other beings without remorse. While no longer passive-aggressive Wildfire still has emotional scars that make him temperamental and easily provoked. And so on. In most cases these flaws are part of what defines them as (sub)characters and not just living weapons. Bigger They Are: Just because the Missing Lynx is a fast and powerful flier that can exploit airborne ambush tactics does not mean it is a particularly evasive one. After the initial jump-scare, it is a gigantic monster that is really hard to miss. Not to mention it would rather just brute force its way through a fight than bother with maneuvering. For all the benefits the size gives it, it also makes him an easy target. Because of it's size, the Missing Lynx is extremely claustrophobic and can become even more unruly if space is limited. }}
